Care | HOOK
Tumblr media
Summary: Hook and you broke up. Anna with the help of Jack uses this to come for your championship belt. An unexpected hero saves you.
Author's Note: GIF has nothing to do with this it just makes me feral. 😭🤌
As always, requests. 🥺🥺
Life is hard working for a wrestling company. Friendships and relationships constantly came and went. You travel a lot and spent time with fellow wrestlers more than your own family. You swore you would never be with anyone in AEW until you laid eyes on Hook.
The relationship was physical at first. You both wanted to have sex without feeling bad for someone waiting for you to come home. It was nice at the beginning. You two would meet up together after the show. Times changed when you started developing feelings.
You were honest with him, but he wasn't interested in a relationship. The two of you were young. He wanted to experience the world. More like experience girls around the world. In order to avoid anymore hurt, you two decided to go your separate ways. That was three months ago.
Now you were getting ready to cut a promo in the ring. Your make-up was done and the championship belt was secure on your shoulder. Tonight was simple enough, anger Anna Jay. The two of you hated each other. It wouldn't be hard.
The unsettling feeling of someone watching you made the hairs on your neck stand. You turned to see the handsome devil himself. He was in a hoodie and sweatpants eating chips. His mind seemed to be in a different galaxy, but he was definitely staring at you. You missed being able to talk to him. Maybe that was a resolution for another year.
The familiar sound of your entrance music played in the arena. You walked out to the top of the ramp. The crowd went wild. Fans of different ages reached out for you to high five them.
The microphone was handed to you. An once rowdy crowd was quiet to hear you. You spoke your piece about Anna. Some of the insults were low. Tony gave you the green light to rile up Anna. You were going to take it. Your speech was cut off by Anna's music.
Anna came out with Jack in tow. She stormed to the ring. You dropped your championship belt in the middle of the ring to meet her outside the ropes. Anna was the first to swing. The two of you landing blows on each other. You never noticed Jack grabbing your championship belt from the ring.
"You think your fuck buddy is going to save you, Y/N?" She asked menacingly. You hadn't thought you would really need help. Normally, you weren't really put in jeopardy of actually losing the belt you worked so hard for.
"I don't need anyone," you scoffed. "I got in this business alone and I'll fight and die alone,"
"You think your are so funny?"
"Actually? Yeah," you answered truthfully. The crowd laughed at your corny jokes. You had to be funny. Anna pushed you to the ground. You landed on your hands and knees facing away from her.
'Rude,' you thought before getting up. You stood up and faced her. Before you could attack, Anna kicked you into the stairs. A scream of anguish sounded through the arena.
"What the fuck?" You asked yourself. Immediately the crowd gasped as their women's champ went down. Your head and back slammed to the stairs. Anna stood above you as you slid to the floor. The championship belt displayed on her shoulder. The camera zoomed in on the two of you. Your eyes pleaded for someone to help you.
"This is going to be mine, Y/N. I'm going to beat your ass until I say I'm tired. Do you understand me?" She yelled at you. You moved your legs as if to get up. She stood on your leg to stop you. Painful throbbing occurred under her foot.
The arena went dark. You were starting to wonder if you passed out. Your head throbbed and you were pretty sure your upper back fell out. The familiar rift of Chairman's Intent felt like an angel's song. Cheers filled the arena.
"We gotta go!" Jack yelled to her. Anna dropped the belt and ran with him into the audience.
Hook was at your side.
"Are you okay?"
"Do I look okay?"
"I was hoping she'd kick that shitty attitude out of you," he countered and helped you to your feet. Hook grabbed your belt knowing how possessive you were with it. Your legs wobbled as he helped you up the ramp. Several members of the crowd wished you a speedy recovery.
You limped to medical with him helping you inside. Hook helped you on the bed while you waited for the doctors to run their tests on you.
"Thanks. I didn't think anyone was going to save me,"
"You didn't think I would save you?" He questioned.
"I didn't think you would care."
"I've always cared,"

dean ambrose x afab!reader
summary: you’re a wrestler being interviewed for different companies and it just so happens that dean is watching…and luckily for him..he already knows you all too well.
tw: arguing/yelling, maybe smut?? i really havent decided yet😭 mentions of blood and fighting, might go into detail.
a/n: OKAY SO LIKE. LISTEN. THIS IS MY FIRST TIME WRITING AND I NEVER SEE ANY DEAN/JON LIKE SOLO FICS SOOOO I REALLY SAID SCREW IT AND MADE MY OWN. UHM SO ENJOY I GUESS?? it’s gonna be a 2-3 part thing!! i’m sorry if it’s like total ass. IM WORKIN ON IT I PROMISE!! also this looked so much longer in my notes app…help😭
Tumblr media
~~~~~~~~
you started wrestling at young age. competing throughout middle and high school and had won a few titles over the years. while wrestling in school and the wrestling on tv weren’t necessarily the same, you loved it nonetheless and had always dreamed of wrestling for some big company and getting your name out there. when you graduated high school, you went straight into lesser known wrestling companies and immediately fell in love with how violent it was and the chaos that came with it. you started off in the CZW and couldn’t have loved it more. no matter how much you bled or how much you put your body through, you kept coming back for another fight. you didn’t care who your opponent was, male or female, big or small, you hurt them all the same.
as time went on, you became more well known. catching the eyes of the WWE and the AEW. both companies wanted to interview you and see what you were all about. you were first interviewed for the WWE, and you were told that some of their superstars would be watching. you agreed to be interviewed, (bitch ofc) and had sat down with a few of their officials.
“So! Miss. Y/N? That’s correct right?”, you nod, trying to contain your excitement. “Awesome. So let’s getting started. When did you get into wrestling?” “I started in middle school and competed in state and world championships all throughout high school. it was something i loved watching as a kid and i wanted to pursue it as my career.“, you explain. “Wow so you have some experience under your belt. Now, I see that you got your start in the CZW. What was that like?” you laugh knowing how gruesome and down right explicit it really was. “Really fun. Super painful of course but that was the best part. If i end up leaving CZW it’ll always have a place in my heart and i’ll never forget the amount of blood i spilt there” you chuckle as you end your sentence. “Alright so just to be sure that you know, we do have some of our own superstars watching this interview live, including The Shield.” you pause at the mention knowing the history you had with their personal lunatic. you nod letting them know that you were made aware of that beforehand. the interview went on and they asked basic questions like your biggest and smallest opponents and your worst injuries. it took about an hour to get through and you were just ready to be done with it.
~jumping to the shields pov for a sec😭🤭~
Seth: So we have to watch this interview why?
Roman: Hey. don’t complain. got some fresh meat comin in and who knows what it’s capable of.
Seth: I guess but like why us? we have such better things to be doing.
Dean: As much as i hate to say it, i agree with half n half over there. i rather be fucking practicing than watching a stupid ass interview.
Roman: Y’all complain way too much. Now pay attention it’s starting.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
as you appear on the screen, dean stiffens and his eyes go wide. hoping the other two didn’t notice, he adjusts himself in his seat and pays close attention. seth catches his behavior and shoots him a look, but deans face is glued to the screen with his full attention on you. he recognizes you immediately and the memories start flooding in. he was the first friend you had made at CZW and you two were inseparable. training together, eating out together, you name it and y’all were doing it together. the last memory he had of you was your face after the VERY heated argument you guys had when he told you he was leaving. you both said some things you regret but what was said, was said.
~flashback to said argument~
Him: jesus fuck what would you like me to do?!
you: i can’t believe you didn’t tell me! like i’m your best friend and you didn’t have the fucking decency to tell me you were leaving until the day before?!
him: i didn’t have to tell you shit! i’m a grown fucking man and it’s not any of your fucking business. you know what? you’re just fucking jealous you’ll be stuck in this shithole cause you’re not good enough to go anywhere else!
~~~~~~~
of course you were taken back by what he had just said to you. more hurt than surprised.
~~~~~~~
you: fuck you moxley! i would’ve been way more supportive if you had fucking told me you asshole! cause that’s what friends do! especially best friends. *you scoff* i should’ve fucking known.
him: fucking known what? that this was gonna happen? that’d i’d leave one day to go on to better things? you wanna talk about being a best friend? how about you fucking be happy for me huh? you’re fucking sittin there yelling at me as if i did something wrong. some fucking best friend.
you: shoulda fucking known that you were friends with me to make YOU feel better about yourself. not to be a good fucking person. and for the fucking record, i’ve stood by your side since the day i fucking got here. i was at every match, every hospital trip, i was fucking there for everything! EVERY FUCKING THING!
him: yeah? well i didnt fucking need you! didn’t need you then and i sure as hell don’t need you now. fuck you and fuck this place.
~~~~~~
you looked him straight in the eyes, tears welling up in yours and walked backwards nodding your head.
~~~~~~
“go live your life jonathan. live it up. but watch your fucking back.”
~anddddd we are back to the present~
that was the last thing you said to him. it’s been 5 years since then and he hasn’t forgotten it once. seeing you have the same glow you had back then pulls at his heartstrings more than he’d like to admit. he listened while you talked about the matches he was there for and he reminisced about y’all’s “after match routine”. he listened closely as you began to talk about the ones he missed and they seemed to just get more and more violent. you talked about your worst injuries and how you had to take care of them yourself. he regrets that argument every day and wishes he could take it back and he’s more pissed at himself for not being there or not chasing after you that night. as much as he’ll never admit it, he loved you. he still loves you. he fucking adored you and was the proudest best friend ever. he’s so deep in thought that he doesn’t notice that the interview ended and his brothers were trying to get his attention. he finally snaps out of the trancelike state he was in and ends up storming off and leaving seth and roman confused.

T-Shirt Salesman Makes Embarassing Return
Tumblr media
At All In 2023, CM Punk would ruin his second chance run in a company willing to give him everything by starting a backstage scuffle. He seemed gone from wrestling in general, but his truest believers hoped and coped that he would show up in November 25 Survivor Series in Chicago. It was a funny prospect knowing that several company line towers like Seth Rollins and Booker T would have to swallow a bitter pill, Cody Rhodes's story will most likely not be finished this Wrestlemania, and some poor title holder will lose their belt to him. As funny as it may be, I still did not want it to happen.
Punk spent 9 years griping and complaining about his time in the WWE. He took potshots when he could, sometimes taking a moral stance when doing so. For example, he would tweet about how abhorrent it was for the WWE to work with Saudi Arabia.
Tumblr media
The tweet is now deleted.
His signing with AEW was a massive shock, but it makes sense. AEW feels like something that was for wrestling fans by wrestling fans, and the guy who presented himself as the voice of the voiceless seemed like a good fit. His first few programs were rock solid affairs. Everything was going fine until one bad back n forth town hall battle.
Tumblr media
Hangman Adam Page would make sneak references to CM Punk and Colt Cabana which would be something Punk would tuck into the back of his mind. Then you add his foot injury, his mood began to really sour. CM Punk would have one of my favorite title matches with Jon Moxley at All Out, I was reassured that he would be back and stable. Then all hell broke loose.
Tumblr media
Everything about this has been said, but this is still the craziest thing I've ever seen. A top star having an end all be all meltdown and completely killing Kayfabe. At this point, I thought he was done as he got suspended indefinitely. Months pass and suddenly a sign that CM Punk was coming back (again) but this time with his own show. To be honest, I think AEW should have a second show to give their large roster some time, and it has that vibe. You got guys like Andrade, House of Black, Bullet Club Gold, and Ricky Starks evolving themselves. Jokingly, it was the show for people who had too much beef with people on Dynamite, Thunder Rosa and CM Punk to be exact. Again, everything was going fine until nepotism hire Jack Perry provoked notoriously easy to provoke CM Punk.
Tumblr media
Another backstage altercation occurs. CM Punk is fired. Young Bucks do a victory lap off air in front of a collision crowd (ratings for that show are in the dumps by the way, to give you an indication for some of the EVP's priorities). It seemed like CM Punk was gone for good.
Everyone scoffed at the idea of Punk going back to the WWE. Why should he return? The same company that hosted a video with weird zooming in on his ass to prove he didn't have a staph infection
The same company that sent him his termination papers on his wedding day. The same company that down played his value because he wasn't the guy they chose to be the main top star. It just tells everyone who believed that he has convictions that he is a massive mark for himself. What, suddenly the company that mistreated you is gonna give you top star treatment? The guy who you specifically mentioned as the primary actor who's goal was to make sure you don't succeed is in charge! CM Punk does not realize he is Charlie Brown, Triple H is Lucy, and the football is a main event at Wrestlemania.
Tumblr media
I'm certain Punk will make good money during this run, it's a guarantee. The man who once said 20 million is enough now says otherwise. The only thing that isn't certain is how much will Punk tolerate? Will Punk keep his mouth shut as a trainer hands him a Zpak? Will Punk work the schedule he once bemoaned? How sturdy is his body that seems to be crumbling? He is in his 40s now, how much further does he have? He probably hasn't considered those questions, he's too preoccupied with how many T-shirts he is going to sell.

Out There
Tumblr media
Title: Out There Pairing: Nick Jackson x Reader Prompt: 7. "One day, maybe we'll get married if that's something you want." R WC: 790
Y/n wasn't sure whose shoulders she was sitting on as she was lifted up into the air, high above the rest of the roster. It looked like almost everybody had come out to celebrate her win and standing up at the top of the ramp stood Kenny, Matt, Adam, and Nick. Kenny was holding a microphone like he had something to say, but was content to let Y/n soak in the moment with everybody else. The crowd was deafening, but even if they had been silent, she wouldn't have been able to hear whatever Nick was mouthing to her. It didn't matter, Y/n was certain that she knew what it was along the lines of. In just a few short years, Y/n had taken her family's business of professional wrestling by storm and made a name for herself before ever making a run for any sort of championship. Nick hadn't expected her to legitimately wait it out, but he was glad that she had. Nobody could take her accomplishment away from her, no matter how hard they tried.
"Alright everybody, simmer down, simmer down. Y/n, you could have gone anywhere in the world to wrestle, but you picked AEW. I saw how you used to wrestle when you first started out. I saw how the things that everybody said about you used to break you down to nothingness. The most important thing I saw was how you prevailed through it all. Not only that, but you showed kindness to everybody you got in the ring with, whether they extended that towards you or not. Whenever word got around that you were trying to make a name for yourself in the wrestling business, a lot of people scoffed and brushed you aside, and I'm admittedly guilty of that, but I couldn't be more proud of anybody else right now. Thank you for proving me and everybody else wrong. To Y/n!" Kenny's speech brought tears to Y/n's eyes as the crowd roared up again. She was carried out of the ring and up the ramp by her peers before being set down in front of Kenny. She ran over to hug the man, who whispered in her ear, "I'm so proud of you kid."
"Move over," Nick said as he nudged Kenny out of the way. Both Kenny and Y/n laughed a little as Nick pulled her in for a hug. She went backstage with The Elite, but soon found herself all alone with Nick in his office. "Women's World Champion Y/n Y/l/n, that's got a pretty good ring to it."
"It does, doesn't it?" Y/n ran her fingers over the title belt. It was something that she had honestly doubted she could earn, but she had fought her way through the standings to get there. Nick had never seen someone fight with such determination before. He believed Y/n could take over the world if she wanted to.
"Not to ruin the moment, but I think Women's World Champion Y/n Jackson would sound a bit better," Nick suggested. Y/n quirked an eyebrow as she shot him a curious look. Nick squirmed a little under her stare, but didn't completely try to take back what he said. "One day, maybe we'll get married if that's something you want. I know you said you wanted to focus on your career right now, so there's really no pressure."
"There's always pressure to get married when you're dating, but the trick is not cracking under the pressure. I know that you're winding down in your own career, but I'm not sure how ready we are for marriage right now. I do want to marry you though, just not right now."
"Well, the option is aways out there. And even if we aren't getting married, we can still always move forward. I was thinking that maybe we could go for a celebratory Disney vacation, just you, me, and your kids. I'd love to get to know them better, and this seems like a good place to start trying to be a family," Nick said. Y/n hadn't been sure of letting him in so much before, but she couldn't deny that he had laid out his intentions more times than she could remember in the past. Nick wanted a family with Y/n, and her kids needed someone to be a good father figure to make up for the ones she had chosen for them in the past.
"Disney sounds great, but I do need to be back here in a couple weeks," Y/n agreed. Nick was elated as he started immediately booking flights and hotel rooms for the family vacation.

Can you elaborate on the backstage drama around the tag belts? 🍵
sure! this is all baseless speculation to be clear
also biased as hell because i don't like FTR or jericho as performers. this answer turned into quite a rant, sorry. if i got any facts wrong i'm happy to be corrected. not coming after anyone who's an FTR or jericho fan, you do you
but, based on what i, as a fan, can see with my eyes on the screen:
FTR fought aussie open at wrestledream and mark davis injured his wrist. i think it's possible aussie open was meant to win this match but an audible was called, based on the next thing.
same ppv, there was a fourway tag match for a guaranteed title shot for the tag belts, between the bucks, ass boys, lucha bros, and hook&oc. the bucks won this. i think the bucks would have made a GREAT first feud for aussie open as new tag champs to reaaally establish themselves: in the past year everyone's been saying FTR and the bucks are the greatest tag teams in the world, it would have been AMAZING for the new tag champs to beat both of them in a short time period.
but FTR took the belts home and mark davis disappeared while for a couple of weeks, kyle fletcher was constantly put in singles matches on both AEW and ROH. i know fan consensus seems to be he has been lost to the don callis hole but i think we need to be patient lmao: he was fighting bryan danielson, kenny omega, and takeshita all in singles not too long ago.
the bucks didn't mention their guaranteed tag title shot at all. At. All. they actually also had the ROH 6-man belts (which is what i think confirms that they were never meant to win the AEW tag belts back with said title shot) and had one match against the hardys & isiah kassidy with it and then lost it to the guys they won it off in the first place. absolute mess of a booking.
jericho and kenny started teaming up because.. they're both canadians? both have beef with don callis? this storyline depresses me so i won't pretend to know what happened exactly. but at the last ppv they had a match against the bucks where they could win their guaranteed title shot off the bucks or they had to disband. jericho and kenny won.
in the meantime, FTR have dropped their tag belts. word is that FTR aggravated assault has a rib injury but they've been wrestling pretty quick again since so i don't know if that was the reason for them to drop it. they dropped it by being squashed by ricky starks and big bill (absolute bill). absolute bill is a makeshift tag team who, in their own words, had never even talked to each other since a few weeks before they won these belts. literally the only matches they've had so far (despite ricky being on tv every single week for other things) were a match against claudiyoots (WHO SHOULD HAVE WON) and a fourway ladder match at the most recent ppv because (according to dirtsheets) none of the other teams wanted to be pinned by absolute bill lmao
so what i extrapolate from all this information is the following:
aussie open was meant to be tag champs by wrestledream
young bucks were supposed to be their first feud hence the tag title shot they got
thanks to injuries FTR ended up dropping the belts to absolute bill
young bucks did not want to lose to absolute bill so they are not using their tag title shot
(nobody wants to lose to absolute bill except for wheeler yuta apparently)
chris jericho got his claws into kenny omega and his greasy hands on the title shit because he doesn't mind losing to absolute bill. or hell maybe the "golden jets" (kenny and jericho's tag team name, referencing a nazi sympathizer) will be the next tag champs
i don't know how long mark davis' injury is expected to last. i think that if the "golden jets" got the belts and kept them warm for aussie open it could pivot into a cool storyline, especially if will ospreay joins AEW around the same time. or fucking hell maybe jericho could betray kenny and kenny teams up with ibushi again and the golden lovers actually win the belts, that'd be more fun. the bucks are missing in action since last ppv and the dirtsheet report is they're going to return as heels with their own faction, and heel!bucks could take the belts off kenny & jericho too, though i'm not really excited about that idea.
just to reiterate, this is just speculation based on what's happening on screen and i'm making theories about what's happening backstage for why the booking is so messy.
most of all i think the following is a good tldr

Rambling Devil Theory under the cut. Posting before (presumably) their real identity is revealed at Full Gear tomorrow.
TL;DR: I think, thematically, The Devil should be Jack Perry. He's mad that MJF had the audacity to have a face turn through the power of friendship after being the catalyst for Jack abandoning his friendship with Hook to turn heel.
Back in march of this year MJF confronted Jack in the ring. In an incredible monologue Max tells Jack that he has all the makings of being a champion and a worthy rival for him but is being held back by his friendships. Crucially, he also specifically says that he's going to be held back by his newest friend Hook, too.
"You just had to be the good guy for these people? Really? These people?" he says with disdain as he motions to the crowd outside the ring. "Where has being a good guy gotten you?"
At that point MJF was world champion and Jack... Jack was still just Jungle Boy. The gimmick name sounds silly when MJF says it like that. Just Jungle Boy.
"When I become world champion, at least I won't wake up alone every day and hate the person I see in the mirror." Jack says before the cameras cut out.
Then, several months later, after escalating brutality in the ring, Jack had his heel turn at Forbidden Door. He attacked his then tag team partner and only remaining friend, Hook, as they were heading backstage together after Jack's loss.
Jack then set his sights on the FTW championship. He won it from Hook at Blood and Guts in july but when he became increasingly unhinged and attempted to retire the belt in an elaborate in-ring funeral with a hammer Hook returned to stop him. After a brief fight Hook challenged Jack for a rematch at All In.
The All In pre-show match ended with Hook regaining the title followed by the now infamous fight between Jack and CM Punk. Both of them ended up leaving the the arena in disgrace that night. CM Punk was eventually fired for the incident while Jack was suspended indefinitely. Any storylines that had been planned for him were dashed - and as one of AEW's Four Pillars there were definitely stories planned.
But while Jack was having the worst time of his life MJF was experiencing a face turn through the power of friendship. At that same pay-per-view MJF fought his best friend Adam Cole and instead of turning on each other the experience only served to strengthen their bond.
So Jack was forced to sit at home and watch as MJF discarded his own advise about friendship to became more and more popular as a face. Despite still being an asshole Max now had the crowd on his side. He'd become the people's scumbag. And he was happier than ever.
Jack followed MJF's advise. He became selfish. He threw away his friendships. He put himself first. And this was where it lead: being miserable and alone.
I think this is when Jack, fueled by anger and frustration, snuck into MJF's locker room and stole the devil mask. He attacked Jay specifically to frame MJF. Then later he attacked the acclaimed simply to hurt people he saw as MJF's friends. He wants Max to feel cornered and alone.
And the timing works out! Shortly after The Devil was first seen there were reports that Jack Perry was no longer indefinitely suspended. The phrasing from a source at the time makes it sound like AEW was putting more distance between Jack and the fight while setting things up for his return.
Admittedly, this is where my theory breaks down. Jack has motive to do all of this but I can't account for the other four guys that accompany The Devil. For this to work the other masked assailants have to be hired goons and not other wrestlers because Jack doesn't have friends or a faction that would help him out. In fact, this theory hinges specifically on him not having friends.
But that's how I would have written this story if I were Tony Khan.

The Devil
I think everyone knows by now how things turned out at Worlds End, but just in case, I'll put spoilers under the cut.
I'm not sure how big a surprise it is, since he was the prime suspect all along, but Adam Cole revealed he was the Devil at the end of the PPV. His "henchmen" were the three Kingdom guys, along with Wardlow.
I feel like there were probably more henchmen than this running around in this storyline, but that's not a big deal. We've seen The Devil directing traffic during beatdowns and leaving his mask behind as a calling card, and it's hard to see Cole doing that with his broken foot, so it makes sense that this group would rely on proxies and intermediaries when necessary. They clearly cut a deal with Joe, so it's not hard to imagine them getting a guy to wear the mask for a few minutes to throw off suspicion. And wrestlers have been hiring themselves out as anonymous cannon fodder for decades. They probably got some of the Dark Order goons from 2019 to pitch in.
I found the reveal kind of strange, since it didn't seem like Cole got anything out of this whole ruse. Joe's the champ, his buddies got the ROH tag belts, but why go to all this trouble for that? Then it finally hit me that he may have been angling for a world title victory of his own, but he had to change his plans once the foot injury happened. After that, it became more about taking the title off MJF, since he couldn't get it for himself.
Why didn't he just let Jay White finish off Max? I dunno, fuck Jay, I guess. For whatever reason, Samoa Joe was his pick.
I suppose this really started after Wembly Stadium, when MJF beat Cole to retain the title. They hugged it out and everything, but that had to be the moment when the wheels started turning. Everything since then has been this long-term plot to wear Max down. The ROH tag title matches, the weird drama with Roderick Strong, Cole acting conflicted over whether or not to cut ties with Roddy, Cole convincing Max to do dumb shit like jumping out of the ring. All of it took a physical and emotional toll on Max until he couldn't hold onto the title.
I found the reveal anticlimactic, but the more I look at it, the more ridiculous the other suspects would have been.
Britt Baker. At first glance, this seems like a cool thing for her to do, but her sole motive would be some sort of jealousy over Max monopolizing all of her boyfriend's time, which could work except she's barely been on TV this whole time, and no one's ever brought up how she felt about the Max/Adam bromance. And how does being the Devil help her career? Fucking over MJF doesn't set up a big match for her, unless AEW's going to do intergender stuff.
Jack Perry. Again, this guy's been away for months, which means there's not a good way to introduce him as a suspect. Fans seemed to think his absence from TV made him more likely to be the Devil, because... it would be more surprising? Also, what's his motive? I think fans wanted this to tie in with his backstage fight with CM Punk, but... how?
Roderick Strong. This guy was already doing a psychological war against Max with his squad of goons. Why would he switch to a secret identity and do the same thing?
Wardlow. Again, this guy made no secret of his grudge with Max, so the bigger question was why he didn't just make his move a long time ago. Wardlow being part of the Devil's conspiracy makes a lot more sense than him being the Devil himself.
Hangman Page, Swerve, etc. These were all pretty big reaches, and I think they only threw these names out to make the point that Max has a long list of enemies, rivals, and challengers. But Swerve wouldn't waste his time on a secret identity. The dude filmed himself breaking into Hangman's house for crying out loud. Conversely, Hangman would never muster the creativity or gumption to come up with a plan like this. He would find the mask, think about putting it on, and then spend the next six months moping about the latest slump he's in.
In hindsight, it really couldn't be anyone but Adam Cole, although this whole reveal still begs the question of how they're going to proceed, when both guys are too injured to have a blowoff match. I guess Cole might be fully recovered by now? Maybe MJF isn't as badly hurt as everyone thinks? I mean, Cole will probably do some "why I did it" promo on Dynamite, but what's the difference? We know why he did it. MJF's a giant prick. Everyone was waiting for them to turn on each other and now it's happened.
The real question is: What does Cole do now? He's got his revenge, and I'm sure he'll get some big match with MJF eventually, but what's he do in the meantime? I guess if his foot's healed up he can chase some other title, but it seems kind of anticlimactic.

Right? We all know who it should be. With this narrative, their building, in any other circumstance, we know who it should be. Then you got these Cody fans frothing at the mouth saying, "Jey isn't a main event guy like Cody. He can't get over like Cody. Jey is a tag team guy. " Like, so wasn't Cody? WWE tried DESPERATELY to build Cody up before, and he couldn't hack it. He's only a "main event guy" because he started his own company and made himself one. Then they caught on to his Schtick and turned on him. He wears suits and hands out belts and built his character from a checklist he found on a how to be a babyface reddit forum. I need someone to ACTUALLY tell me why this guy deserves it besides having the keys to the kingdom thrown at him because nobody has caught on to how much of a try hard he is. People booed Roman for YEARS because he was "shoved down our throat.". How is Cody different?
Now, in Jey in Sami, you have two performers who have been with the company for years and have put in fantastic work whatever was given to them who have elevated THEMSELVES. Nobody starts at the main event. You work to get to that place, and that's how you get to that place. They've taken a story and ran with it. Some say Jey has only gotten to where he is because of Roman, but no, because if Jey wasn't the right guy and couldn't pull it off, this story would have fallen flat. It's not that Jey isn't the right guy. He just didn't have the chance. Everything about their rise is organic not try hard.
Sorry for the wall of text 😭
it's not even about jey. it's not even about sami. it's the fact that there are a dozen people who deserve the spot more than cody does, and cody's only there because of who his dad was and because vince wanted to piss off aew. he isn't good in the ring, he isn't good on the mic, and then you have someone like jey, like sami, like la knight, like seth, like sheamus, like drew, like kevin, like fucking matt riddle of all people who have more charisma in their little finger than cody has in his entire body, and yet they're not the ones getting shoved down everyone's throats. it's fucking embarrassing, bro. it's embarrassing because not only have they now involved him with dom so they can pretend he's over when people boo dom enough that he can't speak (even though they've been doing that to dom for months and it has fuck all to do with cody), they've also now re-involved him with sami and kevin because they're arguably (aside from seth) the biggest faces on raw right now. and then, on top of that, they've even started fucking interviewing him in front of the crowd? are you kidding me? nobody else gets that. nobody else gets interviewed by cathy in front of the crowd and yet he does. and it's because they fucking know he isn't as over as he was when he first came back because the novelty for a lot of people has worn thin, and the only people who give a fuck about him are children, dudebros who think guns should be legal and people who wanna fuck him. that's literally it. he isn't a main event guy, he'll never BE a main event guy, and it doesn't matter how fucking much he uses his father's legacy to push himself to the moon, he's shit. he sucks. he's barely even mid-card at best. and that isn't me sitting here as a little uwu jey fan because jey's earned his fucking flowers and then some so i don't need to be insecure about whether my fave is thriving or not because i fucking know he is. this is just a fact of life. yeah.

WrestleDream preview
Tumblr media
Christian Cage vs. Darby Allin - Allin is challenging for the AEW TNT championship, in his hometown of Seattle. It's a best two out of three falls match, so the first guy to score two falls (by pinfall, submission, count-out, disqualification, or stoppage) wins the match and the title. Cage has been acting like the TNT champion ever since he helped Luchasaurus win the belt on June 17, but he didn't officially win the belt until September 23, in a three-way match against both Lucha and Allin.
The story has dragged out for months and it seems to be well-received, but there's not much to it beyond the fact that Cage is a mega-dick and Allin has a strong attachment to this particular championship. I could get into how Christian has become a meme for fixating on his opponent's dead fathers and single moms, but that's not really pertinent here. I also don't expect his talk of becoming a real father figure to Allin's protege Nick Wayne will amount to anything. Once the bell rings, it's just going to be a hometown hero against a ridiculous heel running out of ways to avoid a straight fight.
Christian spent most of his career intertwined with Adam "Edge" Copeland, whose WWE contract reportedly expired at the end of September. Naturally fandom jumped the gun and started fantasy booking Edge getting into this storyline two weeks ago, so by now there's a lot of hype for his debut. If he's in the building tonight, my guess is he'll make his entrance after the match is over. I'm not at all convinced that he'll align with either of these guys or play a role in the finish. But I guess we'll see.
I was on the fence about who would win here until they made it clear this match would close the show. We've got several local boys on this card and I don't think they'll all win, but you gotta figure the one in the main event has to win. WWE would jump at the chance to defy that expectation, but AEW isn't nearly so eager to fuck with people, so I think Darby will secure his third TNT title reign.
Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Bryan Danielson - Sabre is the NJPW World television champion, but as far as I've heard the title is not at stake here. This match is more about simple pride, and delivering a dream scenario for mat-based wrestling.
Danielson is such a good grappler that he routinely won the Wrestling Observer's annual reader's award for technical wrestling, and when he retired in 2016 the award was named in his honor. The only other man to hold the award in the past 17 years is Sabre; Bryan once joked that he came in second for the Bryan Danielson award. A scheduled matchup in 2022 was canceled when Danielson was sidelined. Now planning his second retirement, Bryan is circling back to that unfinished business.
I expect these two to just have fun exchanging holds and working however they want. That may or may not click with AEW's audience. I mean, the AEW fanbase isn't going to ridicule this for being a nerdy scientific bout. But Sabre is all about wriggling in and out of holds, not splashy high-impact maneuvers. And Bryan isn't doing this match to not work Sabre's style; the point will be to beat him at his own game. That could come across like a chess match in the middle of a football game, if they're not careful.
I had a pretty good feeling Danielson would win here...when I still thought this match was going to close the show. The fact that it isn't suggests they don't want to end with a local favorite going down in defeat. And it makes sense for Bryan to put over the younger guy on his way (eventually) to retirement. However, I think there's at least a chance of a Danielson win, so I'm picking Sabre but not with a ton of confidence.
MJF vs. Vincent Marseglia & Bobby Dutch - On September 22, Vincent and Dutch, of the Righteous, earned the right to challenge MJF and Adam Cole for the ROH tag team title. However, Cole injured his ankle on September 20, and revealed on September 27 that he'd need surgery. Rather than forfeit the championship, Max insisted on defending the belts all by himself.
Before Cole got hurt I was sure this was a slam-dunk easy win for the champs. Now I have no idea. The Righteous really have no business winning the ROH tag title from two top AEW stars in the middle of a hot storyline. They certainly have no business pinning the AEW men's world champion. On the other hand, I'm not a fan of a top singles guy winning a handicap match against a solid midcard tag team--WWE used to do that all the time, but that doesn't mean I want AEW to start. Also, what's the point of having Max retain? It'd be a huge testament to his devotion to Cole, but you'd just be setting up another two-on-one situation for the next title defense.
Regardless, I think this should be sports entertainment at its finest. Max will have to pull out all his cheap tricks to stay alive, and because of the storyline the fans will be solidly behind each and every one of those tricks. I don't see him retaining the belts unless someone does a run-in, and right now Max's only friend is not exactly equipped to run into anything. So if he does win, it'll probably involve a whole new wrinkle in the ongoing saga...
Kenny Omega & Kota Ibushi & Chris Jericho vs. Will Ospreay & Konosuke Takeshita & Sammy Guevara - Don Callis and Takeshita turned on Omega a few months ago, and Guevara turned on Jericho a couple weeks ago to join them. Ospreay hasn't formally joined the Don Callis Family but he's been helping them out an awful lot for someone who isn't technically involved. Omega and Jericho needed backup, so naturally that means the return of Kenny's ~very special friend~ Ibushi.
I don't expect this match to resolve any feuds. At most it'll set up Jericho vs. Sammy and Takeshita vs. Ibushi. I'm not sure where that will leave Omega or Ospreay, who already squared off in June. You'd think the destination is Golden Lovers versus Takeshita and somebody, but I'm not sure who ends up in that role. The Callis faction is still a work-in-progress, so they'll probably get the win as they continue to coalesce into their final form.
Eddie Kingston vs. Katsuyori Shibata - Eddie is defending both the ROH men's world title and the NJPW STRONG title. Shibata's ROH pure championship is not on the line, and pure rules won't be in effect. I'm not sure there's any point here except that Eddie loves Japanese wrestling, so he's been going around wrestling all the guys he admires. On paper I'd call Shibata the heavy favorite, but it doesn't make sense for him to be a triple champion. So the story needs to be about Eddie overcoming Shibata's withering offense with sheer force of will. Kingston retains.
Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler vs. Kyle Fletcher & Mark Davis - FTR (Dax and Cash) are defending the AEW tag team championship. This is a rematch from October 1, when FTR beat Aussie Open to retain the IWGP tag title. The build for this is the same as every other big tag match you've ever seen, with both teams claiming to be the best, and resenting the other being called the best, and everybody's trying to feed their kids yadda yadda. Point is, the wrestling will be good. I suppose a title change would be okay, but I'm thinking FTR will retain.
Kris Statlander vs. Julia Hart - This is Statlander's 13th defense of the AEW TBS championship. Julia has not lost a match since April, when she came up short against...well, Kris Statlander. I've been digging Julia's whole spooky chick gimmick and it's gratifying to see her getting a push, although I don't know if switching the title here is the next logical step for her. Of late she's been spraying black mist into the eyes of Skye Blue and Willow Nightingale, and I have no idea how or why that'll play into this match. Something tells me Kris will retain and Julia will refocus on that spooky stuff.
Adam Page vs. Swerve Strickland - Strickland is from Tacoma and is bound to be over huge in Seattle. I've been profoundly disappointed in the writing for Swerve's storylines in AEW, and I think he's been criminally underutilized. He desperately needs a big win as a statement, and I'm not confident he's going to get it here. They've tried to make this feel like a huge grudge match, but the go-home promos just didn't click with me--each guy basically said what they would have said to literally any other opponent. I like Page and want him to get back into the groove, but under the circumstances I have to pull for Swerve to beat him.
Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson vs. Austin Gunn & Colten Gunn vs. Orange Cassidy & HOOK vs. Penta El Zero Miedo & Rey Fenix - This is a four-way match where the first man to score a fall on any opponent will win the match and a future AEW tag title shot. This feels kind of random. I get the feeling the Gunns are next in line, and the other three teams are just here so we won't expect the Gunns to win.
Ricky Starks vs. Wheeler Yuta - Starks is now 0-2 against Bryan Danielson but he still talks like he's winning, so now Danielson's young boy is going to try to shut him up. I mean, Starks needs a win and he's obviously going to win here, so that's good. But since Yuta is the bottom bitch in Danielson's group it really emphasizes that Starks had to take a big step down to find somebody he could beat. I'm not thrilled about that, but as far as this match goes I'm sure they'll make him look good.
Shane Taylor & Lee Moriarty & Diamante & Mercedes Martinez vs. Athena & Keith Lee & Satoshi Kojima & Billie Starkz - This is on the pre-show. I haven't kept up with ROH lately so I assume Taylor's team is the latest incarnation of Shane Taylor Promotions. I don't know that the other team has any reason to be in this fight. The only storyline I'm aware of is how Athena is a heel but she's "graciously" recruited Starkz, a babyface, as her personal minion. Kojima seems to just be here to remind us that this was ostensibly a New Japan tribute show. I guess Athena's team wins.
Claudio Castagnoli vs. Josh Barnett - Another pre-show match. Barnett is a former UFC champion and once headlined the Tokyo Dome with New Japan. But modern wrestling fans may know his name best from Josh Barnett's Bloodsport, a regular fixture in GCW's Wrestlemania weekend schedule. I'm a bit surprised they're just throwing his AEW debut out there like this, but maybe that's because Claudio's just going to beat him in 8 minutes.
Max Caster & Anthony Bowens & Billy Gunn vs. Shane Haste & Mikey Nicholls & Bad Dude Tito - Gunn and the Acclaimed are defending the AEW trios title on the pre-show. The challengers are Zack Sabre's teammates in TMDK. I hope this means Haste does a cool entrance with his theme song and the orange hat h had during the G1, but knowing AEW they'll accidentally play Slapjack's entrance theme instead. The champs obviously have to retain.
Luchasaurus vs. Nick Wayne - Yet another pre-show match. Wayne is the son of journeyman wrestler Buddy Wayne, who trained Darby Allin in the Seattle area. Luchasaurus is a 65-million-year-old dinosaur with a master's degree, who is unwaveringly loyal to Christian Cage for no apparent reason. So they're going to fight here, probably to keep each other from running into the main event. I'm sure Nick's flippy moves will keep him alive for a while, but Lucha is going to grab this kid and squash him like a bug.

Reviewing the All Elite Wrestling personnel 2023 Edition (Part 3) -
GET RID OF -
Tumblr media
No I've not lost my mind hear me out - Hook is a great prospect and well-guarded in the booking. He is a special attraction. This is it. They don't know what to do now. If the company had sense he'd of done stuff with guys they still have like Ogogo or even Samoa Joe. What would you do with Hook in AEW? For me I'd send him to NJPW and let him develop his technical skills - at the least make him Shibata's protege just don't make him suffer because he's not going to kiss ass to the establishment. I have no faith AEW will do anything with Hook when they've already pushed the wrong talents. He's got to go to grow.
Tumblr media
Limitless dissapointment. What a tragic example of someone who can't reach his potential because of a complete lack of wanting it. Keith Lee is the guy who will smile at Jay White taking every spot and thumbs up a Swerve Strickland for wanting to adapt. Indubitably the only thing he resembles of a Junkyard Dog is the 'Junk' aspect. I do not dislike him but his sporadic appearences have tarnished what could of been a revival to his lackluster WWE career. Now I can only look at him as an overgrown mark for himself. The kind of luxury supercar who can only reach second gear.
Tumblr media
Not a wrestler. NEXT.
Tumblr media
He's returned to the mildest interest imaginable. Remember folks - a former TNT Champion and Tag Champion. This is 2/3 of the Triple Crown. Only Luchasaurus has accomplished this as well. Does he have blackmail on Tony Khan? Nothing about him is original and better talent have got less. Granted he's not winning anything but what do you expect? AEW outgrew him in the 4 years since becoming a weekly syndicated show. What has he done? Stagnated. Be it Kazarian or Ethan Page or anyone he's juxtaposed to he always comes off as the second stringer, the sidekick, the assist. Not a star.
Tumblr media
I believe everyone in this world deserves a 2nd chance. Or even a 3rd chance if they've been so successful before and you understand they really want to try. Jeff Hardy has had his last chance more than 3 chances ago. It takes away from others how much he's given and it's beyond unfair. We live in a world where Tessa Blanchard is never given a single chance and is punished for calling "The Black Rose" a derogatory slur, fair enough, but we'll allow a DUI repeat offender the 'chance' to return and he's twice the age of Tessa. What do you think? If the 'crimes' were reversed would you still let Jeff Hardy back in? Of course AEW would - this is why it's just a vanity project and not one built on moral principles. Even if you disregard it the guy is a husk of what he once was so stop embarrassing the nostalgia.
Tumblr media
"Protect me from myself" is the wrestler's mantra. Wrestlers are there to put their bodies on the line and expect their opponent(s) to help them keep things safe. Referees are meant to support this. Rick Knox was recently involved in the contraversial Rey Fenix International title win over Moxley. This isn't the first time a guy concussed/KOed has had no help from him look up 'Alex Reynolds knocked out' and look who the ref was there too. He's an amateur and dangerously naive to the well-being of the roster. At best he's careless. At worst malicious. See Jeff Hardy on 'chances'.
Tumblr media
I could copy-paste what I said on Ruby Soho and be done with it. For everyone's safety, including her own, for the dignity of wrestling, and the chance for the women's division to mean anything, and belts to not just be used to keep broken wrestlers together, we need her to go - Britt Baker herself said it best - the industry has moved past her. It's now being held back from growing further.
Tumblr media
Remember earlier what I said on Hook? This is one example. For a living bar of prison soap, nothing feels clean with this limpet around - I've never seen a guy more in need of having a mask put on him and, like Hook, I'd send him from AEW but instead to a landfill. The only good thing about him is his age which means he has time to go away and return better but, more likely, he's here to stay and infect airtime with negative ratings. A 'change the channel' wrestler.
Tumblr media
I'll say this - he's incredible for his age and for the fact since I began watching wrestling he's been around…granted I've tried my best to avoid watching him but guess he thought better. His bit has run its course, get rid of the loose faction around him, free Jay Lethal, and let him be a booker or something. His mind is what is important not his body of work.
Tumblr media
The time has come to finally talk about Sammy Guevara - a man I danced around with for 4 years debating whether he should be pushed or go. He should go. Here's why - Sammy Guevara is one of the best talents AEW has got so what's the problem? He can't overcome his own insecurities. He has to be associated with someone. He has to be involved with people who drag him down and, consequently, he's comfortable with it. When the Inner Circle and Pinnacle storyline happened it should of culminated with Guevara becoming the new leader and Jericho eventually breaking off to do his own ego faction. This way Guevara could of feuded with MJF on a more serious level. None of this happened. In fact Guevara has been stuck slowly grinding on the spot without a care. When he discussed why he joined Don Callis he could of mentioned Jericho gave him bad habits and his reliance to do his moves is why he lost NOT because he was just 'sick and tired' of Jericho my god what a bore. If Guevara becomes an AEW World Champion by the time next October runs around this company will die an agonising death.

Who do you believe would pin Roman for the titles?
Personally I think we may get a repeat of WM31 and they don't pin Roman..
What are your thoughts on this?
If I am to be brutally honest, Roman's (and the Usos') dual title reign has been poorly managed. It looked right on paper, but then he basically stepped into Brock Lesnar's role of being an absent champion who does finisher-heavy or squash matches for title defenses, holding the two belts has lost its luster now too; Becky (who didn't nearly hold hers long enough) and Boss n Hug held two belts because they defended them separately, the Bloodline defend both at once which seems counterproductive, they should've either defended them separately or made a new singular belt for them, the latter especially for the tag titles because the options of tag teams are as of current dismal.
In matters of 'should', I have 3 options. Drew McIntyre should beat Roman for the title, using the Clash at the Castle event to do it. Drew has already been proven a fighting champion and he's over with fans. Sami Zayn can have a brilliant story of resurging to his old NXT babyface glory by being cast aside by the Bloodline and getting revenge, Triple H is more likelier to do it than Vince but this'd require more time to storyline it. Finally you have Cody Rhodes, this is more the business side of things because WWE will want to make a point that an 'AEW guy' can still become world champion - I wouldn't put it past them though to do the Dusty and have him win his title shot by DQ or Count Out first, or even be his only win. I'd also be content with Kevin Owens but I feel like he'd need time to rebuild.
In matters of who corporate will choose, it's between the Rock, Theory or Rollins, the latter probably being the most solid choice given his DQ win last time they fought.
It's a difficult call, especially since Roman could lose but only relinquish one belt, then end up losing the other to someone else, but in my own ideal landscape I'd want it to be Drew and Sami, in reality it'd probably be Theory and Cody

Anthony’s Stupid Daily Blog (150): Thu 11th Aug 2022
Checked out last nights AEW Dynamite: Quake By The Lake which opened up with a fantastic coffin match between Darby Allin and Brody King. King got busted open early and I'm starting to get sick of the sight of blood in AEW. I get that they're capitalizing on the fact that blood is one thing they can do that WWE doesn't but that doesn't mean you have to do it every fucking show. Mid-match the lights went out and Malakai Black, Buddy Matthews and Julia Hart were at ringside. I still think it's a bit out of place to have a dark stable with a member called Buddy. You can never be fully scared of a group of people if one of them has a dog's name. When Kibbles I mean Buddy went to open the coffin Sting was inside. Sting took out Matthew and threw the bat to Black who walked out. Darby choked King with his own chain then let go and Brody fell into the coffin and the lid shut on it's own in a fucking great visual. This was great but isn't Black supposed to be feuding with Miro? There was a vignette later in the show where Miro declared he would find his way back to God by destroying the House Of Black but could they not have worked that into this match? Next up we had a great tornado tag match pitting Andrade and Rush against the Lucha Bros. The finish came when the heels tied Penta's mask to the ropes and he took it off to break up the pinfall. Alex Abrahantes threw in a spare mask but Rush threw it into the audience. Glad to see Andrade and Rush finally get a meaningful win. We got a segment where the Young Bucks told Hangman they're sorry for treating him so shitty. They ask him to be their partner but he says he's going to be in Dark Order's corner and not in the tournament. If they're not bringing back Kenny Omega to be The Bucks' partner then I'd be fine with Andrade, Rush and Dragon Lee being the first AEW Trios Champions. Next was a squash match where Luchasaurus destroyed Anthony Henry. Jungle Boy ran backstage to fight Christian and Luchasaurus took out 12 security guards then head-butted Pat Buck which the announcers acted like such a bigger deal than attacking the guards. Dutt, Lethal and Singh challenged Wardlow to another match who comes out backed up by FTR. Sonjay looks for something under the ring but can't find it so to save the spot Lethal goes in and takes a Big Rig from FTR. Do they not plan this shit before the match so they know where it's going to be. Next was Aron Solo (AKA mini Damien Priest) vs Ricky Starks. Starks and Solo were a tag team at one point and although I don't care about Solo this match was okay. Cool ending where Solo goes for a corkscrew kick which Ricky ducks then hits him with a Spear. Stokely Hathaway tries to recruit Gunn Club but Billy tells him to fuck off. He says that he made a match between Ass Boys and Danhausen and "The big bearded fellow" (Eric Redbeard) for next week. Orange Cassidy wants to show Schiavone his new handshake with the Best Friends...urgh. But then Ari Daiviari comes up and tries to recruit Cassidy but he says no. Seriously? Two segments in a row where managers try to recruit clients? The Best Friends suck, the worst booked shit in AEW. Tony must just go "That'll do" when he writes stuff for these guys. Since Tony has done the reshuffling and getting certain people to cover certain areas who did he get to handle the Best Friends and Orange Cassidy's creative because there needs to be a reshuffling. Next was Jade Cargill vs Madison Rayne. I'm happy that Rayne is in AEW as a booker but not that arsed about seeing her in the ring as the women's division is already bloated as fuck. Nice Cross Rhodes reversal into Jaded to end the match. Afterwards Athena attacked Jade and sent her cowering to the back. I'm excited to see Athena vs Jade but the build has been quite sucky. Teaser for next week and they're already doing the Danielson vs Garcia rematch. They should have built this up for at least a month with Garcia getting some more wins under his belt and to build up more excitement for when they fight again. The main event was Jon Moxley vs Lionheart Chris Jericho and holy fuck this match was awesome, an absolute battle and not a spot-fest like the majority of AEW's matches are. Jericho did a cool cool hammerlock with his leg draped over Moxley's neck then ripped Moxley's earring out which was a cool visual but a spot that would be more appropriate for Painmaker Jericho. Regal says hopefully Moxley learns not to wear jewelry to a wrestling match. Jericho puts Moxley in the corner and stomps on his ear then Moxley in the Lion-tamer for what felt like an eternity but in a good way. Moxley ends up getting the win with a chokehold. A fucking tremendous match, like an old-school NWA match. One thing I didn't like is Mox kicking out of both a bat shot and a Judas Effect, one would have been enough. Post match CM Punk returns to help fight off the JAS and have a brief showdown with future opponent Jon Moxley.

Daniel - Cash Wheeler ☆ David - Dax Harwood ☆ Scott - Jeff Parker ☆ Shane - Matt Lee
YN's POV:
I could tell by the look on Daniel's face that he is pissed. He is beyond angry at the fact that him and David got ambushed by 2.0.
Don't get me wrong Scott and Shane are nice guys but they are very new to AEW and are already trying to get a match against FTR.
So as FTR was talking to Tony in the ring about their match against the Varsity Blonds, 2.0 ambushed them and the four of them got into a fight.
The refs had to come down to break it up and there I was, sitting in the first row next to my friend Matt Hardy, my mouth wide open as I watched this unfold.
Tumblr media
After the kerfuffle was delt with, I knew I had to go back stage to see how Daniel was doing. I knew David would be okay, but Daniel doesn't like when things don't go as exactly planned.
As I walked closer and closer to the locker room, I can hear the screaming and yelling coming from my boyfriend.
I also could hear David trying to calm him down but there is only one thing that will calm Daniel down when he is this riled up.
I opened the door without knocking and I can see the mess that Daniel has made. Poor David is trying to clean up after him and he stopped once he heard the door open.
The look of pure relief appeared on his face once he saw that it was me standing there. "Hey Daniel."
Nothing.
"Daniel!"
"What David?!" Daniel asked as he turned to look at his best friend with a glare on his face.
"Turn around." Daniel spun around and the glare dropped from his face once he saw me.
"I'll take it from here David. Daniel and I will clean up and then we will head out."
David said thank you and his goodbyes to us.
I started to clean up the mess that Daniel made and he followed right behind me. This isn't the first time we have done this in a locker room.
"Go get changed baby and we can go home." He was silent as he did as I asked.
In our relationship many people just assume that I wear the pants but that isn't the case. I am just more outspoken than he is but once we are alone, Daniel makes sure to show me who is very much in control of this relationship.
Thankfully tonight's show is not far from our home and we can actually spend a few nights in our own bed.
On our way home we talked about stuff that didn't pertain to wrestling. I knew he was still angry as I watched him grip the steering wheel.
"What do you want to do when we get home love?" I asked him. At this point it could be one of three things....food, relax or sex.
I am hoping he will pick the third option.
"May I suggest.. That we fuck for hours today?"
"Of course baby, why don't I start to help you relax." The road to our home, hardly anyone is ever on it so we have done this a few times.
At the stop sign, Daniel undid his seat belt and pulled his pants and underwear down just far enough for his cock to spring free.
I let him get situated before I undid my seatbelt and engulfed his very hard cock in my mouth.
His hand was on the back of my head as I started to slowly move my head up and down, being mindful of the steering wheel.
"Fuck princess, you always know how to make me feel better." My thighs clenched together as I moaned at the nickname. I know what type of mood he is in tonight.
My mouth was practically watering at the taste of him as I worked my mouth up and down.
I was purposely not taking him fully in my mouth because I love what he does to me.
Daniel started to push my head down and I tried to fight him somewhat. I only get like this when I want him to use his rough voice with me.
"Fuckin' take it or so help me God YN I will make sure you can't walk straight for a week."
I relaxed my throat as I thought about the last time he punished me. One vibrator in my pussy, the other one in my ass. He controlled them and he never let up.
"That is what I thought Princess. I am gonna cum baby and you are going to swallow it all. Once we get home I want you in our bed, ass up face down, no clothes." He was groaned out as his cock started to twitch.
With one final groan and his fingers gripping my hair, he came in my mouth. I made sure to swallow it all, not allowing for a single drop to leave my lips.
"Oh shit princess, yeah swallow it all baby. Ohh lord this mouth will be the death of me." He said as I pulled my head up and away from his lap.
I giggled and noticed that we were home. "Go on now love, I'll be there shortly." He said to me as he kissed me on the cheek.
I ran into the house, stripping my clothes as I went to our bedroom. I made sure to be on our bed, ass up my face against the mattress.
And I waited.

Cash Wheeler's POV:
I watched as my girl ran into the house. I will probably find a trail of her clothes leading to our bed room.
I laughed to myself as I saw that she in fact left her clothes as a trail to our room. I picked up each item, holding them to my nose and just smelling them, enjoying the smell.
I finally got to our bedroom and moaned quietly at the sight of her in the position, her wet pussy in display, her fingers itching to touch herself.
But like my good girl she is, she hasn't touched herself or made a noise.
I stripped myself from my clothes and stood behind her. She jumped slightly when I put my hands on her ass cheeks and jiggled them.
I got on my knees and I heard her breath hitch as she felt my breath on her pussy.
"Always so wet for me Princess."
"Yes Daddy." She whimpered and that whimper turned into a gasp and whine as I buried my face in her pussy.
"Daddy, fuck." I pulled my face away and slapped her pussy lightly. Not enough to hurt her but as a warning.
"Sorry." Her head turned back to face me and she was pouting.
I stood up and plowed into her pussy. "What did I say princess?" I asked her as I fucked her hard and oh so fast.
YN was already cock drunk, her eyes are rolled into the back of her head as I thrusted into her over and over again.
"YN!" I called out her name which brought her back to reality.
"No swearing Daddy."
"That's right princess. I don't think Daddy should let you cum." She tried to pull away at the threat, knowing if she got away she can finish in the bathroom.
But I gripped her hips hard, and pulled her back against my chest. My one hand let go of her hip and went between her breasts and gripped her neck.
"Ohh you are asking for it huh? Trying to run away? That's it baby, you know what this means." Her body shivered as I pulled out of her pussy and placed it against the other hole.
"Relax baby, I got you." I said trying to make her relaxed. This isn't the first time I have gone in like this and I won't be the last.
Her body relaxed against mine as I slowly slid into her tight ass. Once I was all the way in, I stayed still.
Her ass was so tight and I always want to cum right away when I first slide in.
I do some shallow thrusts as to let her body get used to me but once she nods her head, giving the okay, I start to thrust faster and faster.
"Need your fingers" She whimpered.
I took three fingers and thrust them into her pussy. I knew I shouldn't let her cum and edge her but my goodness her ass feels amazing and I know she is in some pain but doing so well for me.
Her pussy was clenching and spasming hard around my fingers and I knew she was so close.
"You going to be a good girl and cum all over my fingers princess?"
"Yes Daddy."
"Cum for me love." I said the magic words and her head flung back against my shoulder, mouth open as she came moaning Daddy over and over again.
I pulled my fingers out of her pussy and placed them in her open mouth. She closed her mouth and cleaned my fingers.
I pulled my fingers out her mouth and turned her head so I can kiss her.
Just the taste of her on her tongue brought me straight to the edge. After a few hard thrusts, I held still.
Me, moaning into her mouth as I came in her ass. When I stopped cumming, I slowly pulled out of her ass and laid her gently on our bed.
I went to the bathroom and cleaned myself up and grabbed a towel to clean her as well.
After we were cleaned up, I crawled into bed with her, hovering over top of her, just looking at her.
YN wrapped one leg around my waist and pulled me so I was practicing on top of her again.
"Again?"
"Give me a few minutes and I will be ready to go again." I told her.
"Until then, kiss?"
"Baby, I'll give you all the kisses you want." I told her as I captured her mouth in mine.
