18. your boba/tea order? annnd 12. brand of haircare/bodycare/skincare that you trust 100%?
tbh i don't ever get boba? so i dont know? i'd like to try it at some point. i love chai, though. i'm not a huge tea drinker, but if i'm going to drink tea, it'll either be chai, some form of green tea(rn i've got a green tea with pomegranate mix in my drink area that i'm excited to try), or Aveda's herbal tea mix. Aveda's tea is expensive as dicks but if you like the taste of fennel(similar to licorice), it's really good.
oh man, i love this second question lmao. i'm very biased bc i'm a licensed cosmetologist, but there are also even high-end brands i don't really fuck with. buckle up bc this answer is gonna be long lol. for each category:
Haircare: for haircare, i really like Bumble and Bumble, Drybar, Babyliss(they make some of the best tools on the market), Redken, Joico, Olaplex, and Wella. i know they are ridiculously expensive and it sucks and i wish they were more accessible. the good news about their price point, though, is bc they don't contain filler ingredients like other brands, you can use less and it lasts longer. i used to also love Chi, Paul Mitchell, and Biolage, but they've significantly decreased in quality in the last few years. they do still have some good products at cheaper price points, but some of the stuff isn't as good as it used to be.
Body care: my three biggest body care loves out there are Dove, Cetaphil, and Necessaire. Dove and CeraVe are more inexpensive without sacrificing quality; Dove's soaps are made in a different way from conventional soaps, so they're gentler on your skin, while still very cleansing. i tend to use either their bar soaps or their body washes. and i love CeraVe's body washes, their body wash and body lotion with salycylic acid are great for ketosis pilaris(aka chicken skin or strawberry skin) or body acne in general. Necessaire is more high-end and therefore more expensive, but their body exfoliator is the only one i'll ever use again, i swear. i use it in the shower after washing my body, and i use those exfoliating gloves you can get basically anywhere. it's got both chemical and physical exfoliation, and it lathers REALLY well, so you dont need a lot(i literally just do two single stripes down each arm, and that's enough for my whole body. and i'm fat, so thinner people likely don't even need that much!). it makes you super baby smooth, so if you're into that and you have the money for it, i highly recommend it.
skincare: i will forever and always love CeraVe and Cetaphil for skincare. CeraVe's sunscreen is kind of trash(i wish they would reformulate them SO badly), but outside of that, their products are great. they're full of ingredients that help restore your skin's acid mantle, which basically affects the health of your skin. Cetaphil is very similar in formula to CeraVe, but their products are designed for people with extremely sensitive skin, so they have no additives that could potentially disrupt your skin's acid mantle. both brands are recommended by many people i know who work in skincare, both dermatologists and estheticians.
outside of those two, i also really like The Ordinary's products for their price point, but i do think it's a bit irresponsible of them to just sell such strong chemical exfoliants to the public without putting lots of warnings on their products. facial skin is very sensitive compared to the skin on your body, and with products like chemical exfoliants, you need to start in small doses, and always wear sunscreen, as they can make your skin more photosenstive, which can cause more problems than whatever you were trying to get rid of with the exfoliant.
(please please PLEASE always wear sunscreen, if you don't take any of my other advice PLEASE take this one! skin cancer is no joke, and it can affect anyone!!!! even if you're not using actives in your skincare routine, unless you sit indoors 100% of the time with NO windows around you should wear a suncreen for the health of your skin!)
and finally, i also love Paula's Choice, Black Girl Sunscreen, and Supergoop!. BGS and Supergoop! are both great sunscreen options with no white cast, which is great for people with more melanin, or those who are being flash photographed often. Paula's Choice is a bit on the pricey side but they are very thorough with their ingredient choices, and their research into the ingredients that they use is incredibly thorough. plus, PC also runs the Beautypedia ingredient index, which is an incredibly useful tool. basically, you can take any product you like, plug the ingredients into their database, and it will tell you what the ingredients do, what they're used for in the product, and if they're beneficial or detrimental to the skin.
sorry this was so long lmao! there are other brands that i like certain products for, but these are the ones i'm 100% ride or die for, that i trust 100% :D

drama L & ocd
thank you @matsvda for helping me with these (big fat heart emoji)
trigger warning for this post: as context for the ocd headcanons i’ll be talking a little bit about a @51161121‘s childhood headcanon for L which includes childhood neglect, eventual abandonment, and hospital trauma. further down the line, tw for unsanitary behaviors, ocd compulsions & intrusive thoughts, skin picking and hairpulling (dermatillomania and trichotillomania), and magical thinking i.e “if i avoid doing this, then i will have good luck/bad luck” (same vein as like. “reblog this post or x will happen” kind of thinking)
Tumblr media
the childhood headcanons wrt L’s mom and his homelessness are credited to @51161121 lmao it’s their headcanon im just living in it--
L's mom was rlly neglectful and not. a good mom. she eventually abandons him in their trailer home when he's six years old and leaves him a little cash but that's it.
he ends up living on the streets. he doesn't wear socks or shoes bc they overstimulate him and he Hates Them, and because of this he accidentally steps in shattered glass. the infection is so bad he ends up in the hospital. L Hates The Hospital To This Day bc he fought the staff so much they put him in a CHILD RESTRAINT SLEEPING BAG
Tumblr media
i think this experience could have lead to like. (L's internal thought process) "i never want to go to the hospital ever again."--> "i will never get sick or hurt again." --> "to keep myself from getting sick or hurt i will  do things to avoid getting sick" --> germaphobia --> contamination ocd compulsions.
i think also, relating to how disgusting his childhood home would have been, he might feel a need to keep things a certain way (with watari's assistance) bc like the idea of living like that again makes him crawl the walls so. neatness compulsions and feeling like everything needs to be his definition of  "right" even though they might not make sense to other people i.e: he doesn’t make the bed because its fine all rumpled up, but if you put your shoes in the wrong place he gets >:(
a list of L's compulsions and other germaphobia-related eccentricities
doesn't like brushing his hair with a brush because he hates that dead hair and skin remain on the brush from the last time someone brushed their hair with it
toothbrush has to have a protective little cover on the head of it or its contaminated and he will get sick if he uses it
all of the doors in countermeasures can be opened hands-free if he chooses
the lighting is also hands-free; he controls the dimness and brightness from his computer
he doesn't clean his keyboard because "my hands are always clean" so it's probably actually due to be cleaned but if watari cleans it L will throw a fit
we already knew this but he can't stand wearing filthy clothes. he changes his shirt approximately three times a day but usually more than that. pants he can handle wearing for a little longer. he won't wear socks.
he wears a sick mask every time he goes out of the hotel.
he compulsively washes and sanitizes his hands. he scrubs at his hands with scentless exfoliants every time he washes them. on top of the excessive washing, he is constantly using hand sanitizer. the smell of normal hand sanitizer repulses him and reminds him of the disinfectant smell of a hospital so he uses candy apple scented hand sanitizer. it's green. although if he's really anxious about washing his hands that day, he'll rinse his hands in hydrogen peroxide and lemon juice. awful
because of the hand washing and the sanitizing and the exfoliating and the Rinsing With Chemicals and Acid compulsions, his hands have extremely dry skin. (L's internal monologue) dry skin = dead skin. dead skin is unsanitary. i have to pick my skin now
because of the dry skin and the skin picking on his hands, they tend to be raw and hurt all the time. he hates bandaids because they leave a sticky residue and that overstimulates him (and it also makes dirt stick and collect on his hands and he'd literally rather die than let that happen) but he DOES love the neosporin that has the pain relief additives. he goes through a tube of it per week. its clean.
to combat the washing and picking, watari will insist on putting lotion on L's hands and then making him wear cotton gloves. L resists at first until he realizes this is Genius-- 1, he doesn't have to wash his hands if he never touches anything with his bare skin and 2, putting on lotion and then putting on the gloves is a little bad sensory-wise, but it ensures that his skin gets rehydrated and moisturized which means no more pain and no more picking
the only compromise L makes with the cotton gloves is that it has to be a fresh pair every time. he will not wear the same gloves once he's used them once.
he believes in luck and his intrusive thoughts make him. do things that will apparently "bring him good luck" or "avoid giving him bad luck" but these are private thoughts of his so no one can rlly. prove to him they don't work or argue with him (magical thinking)
L is autistic and counts his steps whether or not he’s enacting compulsions. he loves the number 7 because it’s lucky and often just recites 1234567 in his head, but it turns into a compulsion when he gets anxious. “if i dont count out loud RIGHT now something bad is going to happen to me/my brothers/watari”
of course, once L starts. interacting w people that don't just stay in one building all the time, germs and stuff naturally will be present when these ppl come in to work w him. L makes watari spray them w disinfectant.
if he Does get sick, he would rather die than admit it, because if he admits he got sick he thinks he will be forced to go to the hospital. watari has explained to him a thousand times that he would never force L to go to the hospital over a flu, cold, or stomach virus, but L doesn't believe him.
L also resists taking medicine when he isn't feeling well because "how long have these been sitting in the bottle with the safety seal removed? they've been exposed to the air. that's disgusting". a lil headcanon of mine about his childhood would be that his mom never restocked the medicine cabinet so everything was always expired. L will refuse to take medicine until it expires and then joyfully throw them out.
L's compulsion to pick his hands turned into a compulsion to pick his face and whoops! now he has dermatillomania and trichotillomania.
he has a special face washing routine. he uses special products for his skin type (he has an oily T-zone but his cheeks are dry) and if he doesn't do this routine every morning and night, he picks his face. and his eyebrows. watari knows if L is failing to practice self care re:hygiene because L will have no eyebrows and red welts on his face from picking.
L: am i stacking my food right now because i think its neat (autism) or because i have to (ocd)? we will never know

how can i make my nudes lit cause mine just feel boring and dull
try starting out with pretty undies or bras or lingerie sets. using flash for booty pics and taking them from underneath of your booty helps it look bigger.
try new positions, try sitting on your feet and taking booty pics like that, or take some of you arching your back and playing w ur tiddies or with a hand down ur undies.
act like the person youre sending them to are your hands and send them pictures of what you want them to do to you. genuine nudes are best made w genuine touching.
for actual litness for like ur skin, make sure u moisturize !!!! i use cocoa butter for my tits and my ass and thighs and hooooOOOOOEEEEE boy does it make everything so soft. you can also put some shimmery things on your skin like shimmery lotions or oils. tbh you can even put highlight on ur ass n tiddies. glow baby. u r so beautiful.
also, use sugar scrubs and exfoliating gloves in the shower. glowy skin is impossible if ur covered in dead skin. and trust me, even though you cant see it, everyone is covered in nasty dead skin. using an exfoliating glove does wonders for your skin. i put my fav body wash (i usually use dove bc the smell is sooooooooo good) on it and dance while i exfoliate the shit outta myself. dont do it too hard though, that shit hurts.
if youre going to use a sugar scrub (diy or storebought) and you shave/are going to shave in that shower , make sure you use the scrub before and after you shave. getting dead skin off before you shave is hella important, and once youve removed the hair from the area, more dead skin is going to be accessible, so getting rid of that is a good idea lol.
always always ALWAYS follow up w a good moisturizer. like,,, moisturizing is SO important man. youll be glowing so bright u’ll blind the receiver of ur nudes.
i hope this helped some! if you need more let me know xx

1 (Chipotle order), 6 (do you use a watch?), 12 (brand of products you trust) and 22 (emotional support water bottle)?
thank you for the ask :D
i dont order chipotle often, but when i do, i go for a bowl! i get chicken, black beans, and brown rice, and i typically add one of the salsas, lettuce, cheese, sour cream, and guac if im feeling fancy! i also tend to eat it with chips and queso(their queso still isnt great but its MILES better than when it first debuted!). i also like their hardshell tacos, but i tend to order delivery or to-go, so the taco shells get soggy by the time it gets home, so getting the chips and piling it on them is a good in-between option lol.
i do not use a watch! i carry my phone with me and use the watch on there lol.
im actually very picky when it comes to beauty products, especially as someone who works in the beauty industry. it's rare that i love an entire brand and trust them implicitly, bc a lot of the time they'll change formulations without informing their consumers, or other sketchy behavior. for brands that i MOSTLY trust, i like: +Redken, Verb(their shampoos and conditioners only NOT their styling products), Olaplex, and Moroccan Oil lines for hair +CeraVe, Cetaphil, The Ordinary, and Necessaire(probably the most expensive products i use, but their body exfoliant with one of those in-shower scrubby gloves? you will be SMOOTH AS A FUCKIN BABY, and you barely need any product bc it lathers so nicely) for facial and body skincare +for makeup i love Beauty Bakerie but i feel like they're discontinuing a lot of their stuff as of right now :c i also like some Nyx and E.L.F. stuff but you really have to play around with what works for you. Wet n Wild has also come a long way, but again, not all of their products are good. and none of these except Beauty Bakerie(which is Black woman-owned) have good shade ranges, which in this day and age is honestly completely unacceptable. MAC is also good specifically for shade ranges, and if you know your MAC shade + undertone, it's very easy to find what your shade will be in other brands! always try to match to your neck if you can!!!!!!
i have two emotional support water bottles, and theyre both matte black iced-coffee style bottles with reusable straws. i love them so much <3
