Aro Ace: sometimes I don’t feel like it’s right to lump myself in under the LGBT+ banner.
Friend: Why’s that?
Aro Ace: Well my experience is a lot different from so many other queer people and I don’t have the same struggles a lot of them do.
Friend: “We all have have different struggles. You’re apart of the group because you are who you are, not because you had a specific experience. Besides do you really think it’s a good idea to start defining ourselves and gatekeeping based on similar struggles we may or may not go through? If hardship is what we need in order to belong, how can we have hope for a future without hardship?”

Weird fucking end of the day, y'all!
I've got a progress pride flag pin and a little round ace pride flag pin on my backpack. The progress pin has been there long term but even the ace pin has been on there for probably a year now. I've gotten exactly one chill "hey me too!" in that whole time (nice!)
So ofc it's the day I'm drop dead tired, I'm talking brain absolutely fried, need to get home asap, lay on the floor, and recalibrate type of bone tired. Ofc THIS is the day a coworker I'm walking out of the building with decides to ask what the ace pin is

I wish there was a tag for disability pride flags, so I can not see them. They make me uncomfortable, as they make me feel like having a disorder is fun and quirky, and something to wear as a badge. It really really bothers me. I’m not saying we should feel ashamed of having a disorder, but pride is a strong word for that category too. Like proud? Proud of going through traumatic experiences that tacked on a disorder to me? You do you I guess, but I’m not proud at all.
I know it makes others feel heard which is why I’m not against people really making them. I just want a tag. I don’t want to block the tags to my own disorder.

Could you do an appressexual monsterling or bee?
(it's an a-spec identity and a very pretty flag, but it's also very easy to mix up with the gender queer falg so any appres-plushie could double as a gender queer plushie.
Maybe! I'm not quite sure what flag it is, though? Google is being unhelpful. Do you have any links to the flag?
