☕ The fact that Wakanda was presented as an advanced country looking down on others from it's comfortable vibranium armchair but had a monarchist system that could place a ruler with 100% muscles and 0% brains at the head, along with other bothersome stuff like that, like Shuri being the head of the government's science department while she is a part of the royal family, or really, every single part of Wakanda that looks good on paper - a king with a council of people leading the different tribes - but that history has shown us very often ends up creating a dictatorship, which is really what happened in the movie and I'm surprised no one sees it.
Like, the movie literally shows us this country that's supposedly so advanced, with spies and people placed around the world, most likely putting their fingers in as many pies as possible, and an incredibly developed technology - which is frightening on many levels considering that UN or no Wakanda could blow up everything outside of its borders and people wouldn't know it until it happened -, but with a monarchist - and whatever other words could define it - governmental system that has revealed a lot of problems in its configuration. The tribes leader were literally being choked in the throne room and no one was doing anything, there was a destruction of a historical, scientific and cultural heritage being condoned by the new religious ceremony leader(???) just because the king ordered it. They would've literally tried taking over the entire non-black population (and where does that leave all the metis people? All the ones that are not white, but not black? Of middle eastern descendance? Of Asian one? Etc?) if the ex-monarch hadn't done something.
What I'm trying to ask if, what do you think of Wakanda being a good idea on paper but terrible in practice? True! Untrue? Something else?
Holy shit lady, you ask the tough questions. This is a difficult subject to cover - you’re asking me to look at the political structure of a fictional society within a disenfranchised continent - and I’m uncertain if it’s possible to do a decent analysis without addressing heavy topics. Basically, I don’t want to sound like a privileged dickwad. So I guess what I can say is - this comes from someone with a (mostly decent) American-based education, and no formal study of pre-colonial customs and political structures in Africa. I apologise for any misconstrued ideas and more than welcome any corrections to those who know more about these subjects!
I like Wakanda on paper, mostly due to the fact that the majority of Africa got completely screwed in terms of historical treatment and I’m rooting for the continent’s people to gain their own voices again. Wakanda being such a huge thing in international popular culture might serve as an inspiration for someone who ends up being important to at least one country there. In that sense, I really like Wakanda - the idea that it can potentially inspire historically disenfranchised cultures in the real world. How practical that thought is, I’m not sure - I might just be too idealistic.
Dictatorships can happen in non-monarchies as well, which you know -- as the most famous examples in 20th century history are not monarchies. The issue that can appear in monarchies -- or dictatorships -- is the lack of checks and balances to help keep those in power from going overboard (or the populace not having enough manpower/arms to get a dictator-like-coup out, but that’s an entirely different discussion!)
From what we got in the movie, Wakanda does seem to lack those checks and balances and no ability to overrule a king’s command. It seemed that they never had any sort of Magna Carta in their history (which is far from a perfect document, but did start the precedent of limiting monarchical power), and it doesn’t seem there’s anything resembling a representative government with veto power over the leader that you see in, what, 2/3rds of the world these days? (I legit have no idea, but I do know it’s wide-spread.)
But why wouldn’t they have such a document limiting monarchical power or some sort of democratic process? The modern mindset across many countries around the world leans towards democracy and elected, representative governments. But it can’t be denied that colonialism helped spread this, as -- at least, according to wiki -- representative democracy/liberal democracy/Western democracy all originate in Europe. So, in some way it makes sense that they didn’t transition yet because they were never colonized, and they were completely self-contained so didn’t have any of the outside world conflicts to force them to make changes. France helped fund the barons who pushed for the Magna Carta. France was also responsible for helping fund/arm the US in their fight to gain independence (lol France vs England history, it’s so great). External conflicts with other regions/countries caused *changes* to happen in those societies, at least from what I know of European history. Possibly happened in other continents, but I’m just not knowledgeable enough about their histories to give specific examples.
Wakanda had no outside conflict, and with no outside conflict, you get one major source of problems eliminated. Civil wars happen for a multitude of reasons, but perhaps one of their solutions historically for kingship changing without civil war was the fight of a representative of a tribe to try and win it over. Who knows? But when you’re enclosed like Wakanda was, there’s a lot less chance of things changing.
(On that note - their selection of a new leader is also incredibly disproportionately unfair to women. The average man is physiologically stronger and faster than the average woman. It’s just--biology. But who knows, maybe Wakanda was the same as much of the rest of the world in terms of their thoughts of women leading in politics. There’s comic canon that could be different, but the MCU did a lot of changes from comic canon.)
A *lot* of things changed across the world in the 20th century, making the world much smaller. Before the 20th century, it was likely considered completely useless and nonviable to make war on other nations because, though they were more technologically advanced, it’s incredibly unlikely they had something akin to nuclear bombs in the 19th century. They had to have their own steps of progression. And if they were only *a bit* better, they couldn’t stop the entire world if they started attacking and word spread. It’s only in the late 20th, early 21st century that things like destroying the rest of the world with Wakandan weaponry was likely actually feasible. Though honestly? I don’t think that shield could withstand a nuke. I just don’t see it. If Erik’s plan went through, he may have doomed Wakanda's capital city to being utterly annihilated because too many countries do have the ultimate kill button, and there are some who would not hesitate to use it.
It also could be cultural. Wakanda didn’t go conquering their neighbors left and right. They were happy with five tribes and it seemed to remain five tribes. That speaks of something deeply cultural, deep within the roots of how they’re raised and taught. Erik came from an entirely different culture with a violent childhood and background, and because they were in the 21st century, other Wakandans could *learn* of the rest of the world, and get new ideas - and get the same anger that stirs war and revolutions, and ultimately can affect a country’s culture.
So perhaps before the 21st century, limited power with the king wasn’t needed simply due to their isolation. Now, though that they are much more connected with the world, maybe they need something more like Botswana or Nigeria, only tied in with a monarchy (according to wiki -- Elsewhere, in Botswana, the kgosis (or chieftains) of the various tribes are constitutionally empowered to serve as advisors within the national legislature as members of the Ntlo ya Dikgosi. Meanwhile, in Nigeria, the various traditional polities that currently exist are politically defined by way of the ceding of definite authority from the provincial governments, which in turn receive their powers to do so from a series of chieftaincy laws that have been legislatively created.)
So basically what I’m trying to say is, while I’m personally super gung ho about representative democracies and individual liberties, that’s not necessarily the culture of Wakanda and it may not fit for them. But *what* the culture of Wakanda evolves into, being more open to the rest of the world -- and thus, the rest of the world’s ideas and cultures, remains to be seen. They may find that they do need to reform their political structure after the civil war we saw in the first film, though, and perhaps they do so.

One thing that felt uncomfortable to go along with in the CF route for me was when Edelgard lies about what happened at Arianrhod to her closest allies (Black Eagle Strike Force) and blames it on the church. Can you give some insight as to why she does this? Especially when Edelgard criticizes the church for lying to the people of Fodlan, but isn’t she doing it here?
That’s certainly a moment that is genuinely ambiguous / a valid point of criticism and something I’d laud a whistleblower for exposing if it were a RL politician, but also the sort of realpolitik / appearance management that has taken place in most RL wars.
Once you’re the leader of anything, allowing panic, division, etc. at bad moments comes with its costs. Of course this is hardly a carte blanche (see: Beating down legit protesters for superficial “order”), but neither is it a factor that can be ignored completely.
At the point of the Arianrhod attack Edelgard was one month away from seizing control of the landmass and ending the large-scale fighting, having one enemy taken out (the Church) and being able to turn all her resources on the other (the Agarthans)
The agarthans at this point know they’re losing control of Edelgard and they’re not stupid enough to have any illusions about her loyalty. So they fire a warning shot to demonstrate their superior weaponry. Arundel makes a thinly veiled threat to fire it on Enbarr.
Of course at this point he basically gave away his location and allowed Edelgard & Hubert to come up with countermeasures, but they don’t want him to know that yet, their strategy involves that they keep being underestimated, let the Agarthans keep thinking that the “beasts” have no counter for the nukes pointed at their heads.
But they still destroyed half a fortress killing the ppl inside. If she reveals that she’s got a rogue faction infiltrating her ranks that’s firing frightening superweapons nilly willy, there will be chaos outrage and disunity right before the final battle. If she doesn’t make a statement at all and declares it a mystery, no one will believe it and her own faction will get the blame throughout the country. So what does she do? Pin it on the enemy she is currently fighting anyways. The purpose here is not to reveal the Agarthan situation too early so they can focus on the church for now.
It’s unclear if this was ever revealed to the public (probably not, I don’t think she’d cause a stir on principle alone) but the ending cards make it quite clear that the Strike Force was let in on the Agarthan situation later and helped her mop them up.
Yeah, it’s defamation, an indisputable  textbook government cover up and maybe even technically a kind of propaganda, but her casus belli existed before it’s not like she’s basing it on the lie, and in most wars throughout history the factions have hidden or made a spin of failures & mishaps and made the enemy look bad.
There are certainly many historical examples of such actions creating problems, such as fueling lingering resentments or creating general mistrust that can led to real information not being believed etc. so it’s by no means a safe action that is no big deal and I can see how it could be a legit dealbreaker for some, you certainly weren’t supposed to be 100% comfortable with it, or anything on the CF route, everyone involves is well aware that they’re doing ugly, costly things because (or so they see it) the alternatives are all worse. In that sense it’s the most self-aware one. It’s about actually looking at the bottom line of consequences, not what makes you feel like a hero.
At the same time, doing things like that that squander her moral credibility genuinely IS a flaw in Edelgard’s leadership style - it’s probably why more ppl didn’t believe her manifesto, “she already lied to us cooperating with these shady guys”, making it look like a ‘he said she said’ situation to the wider public that can’t go & confirm the evidence for themselves. This is why Claude thinks he has a better shot at winning& implementing reforms in VW (”too shady for the ppl to get behind”) - just like Dimitri has no plans and Claude’s secrecy creating mistrust even when his secret plan is utterly benevolent.  Doesn’t matter how altruistic you are if you look suspicious it will have consequences I mean that’s how she loses on the other rouses, everyone ganks up on her cause she antagonized them all with suspicious actions. I’m not saying she’s any more perfect than the other 2.
but putting that on the same scale as what Rhea did is comparing a candle to the sun.
And maybe the Kantians in the audience will disagree with me but it can be a bit unhelpful to classify different actions of vastly different consequence and magnitude as “Lies”. There is a common principle (telling things that aren’t exactly true) but different magnitude. Clearly “The Confederacy was all great and glorious” and “I totally didn’t eat my little sister’s share of toffees” aren’t on the same level of immorality.
Neither is below the “everythings fine and dandy” line but one is a lie about one incident for one clear purpose, and the other is creating a whole fake world view for the express purpose of control, maintaining harmful systems, suppressing any advancement of science & technology... for 1000 years.
Scale, purpose and consequences are totally different. The arianrhod coverup coming to light would spark controversy & discussion on wether she should have done it under those circumstances; Some might change their opinion about her but overall everyone already knew that she’s not above dirty methods. If you told the average citizen of Fodland about all of Rhea’s lies, everything they know would be wrong. They would go from Adoring & worshipping her to being very confused about what’s true.
It’s the difference between your average modern-day politician doing backroom deals with diverse industry lobbies to accomplish their other goals, and a place like Saudi Arabia.
To get perspective here, let’s look at another example: Claude’s deceptions.
He, too, ultimately wants what’s best for everyone and a lot of the time he decides to fool people to avoid fighting them, I don’t mean to bash him at all, but let’s look at his actions in and of themselves:
Look at the sequence where he, Hilda & Byleth rope the church into helping them - that’s even more outright with the slimy politician tactics: He tries to downplay alliance involvement though he is totally in control, he says that “getting the church on our side will make fighting the empire look like a moral cause” implying that he doesn’t think it is one but wants to portray it as one to get ppl’s support, we’re told he made lots of promises to the merchants to get them on his side (so like that’s literal lobbyists), he installs Byleth as a figurehead, he tells the church ppl he wants to help them get back their old power when he really wants it to diminish and to drastically reorder the society.
He tells everyone he’ll help them save Rhea but while he still has basic human empathy for her & what happened to her he makes it clear he doesn’t want her to go back to being archbishop... at all. He even does this with Byleth: “Yeah, sure, teach we’re totally gonna save her”  though in their case he tries to hint that she’s not to be trusted for their own good. Despite his dishonesty, he’s actually a very good friend to them imho. (#broTP)
In the end the power struggle between Claude and Edelgard isn’t personal nor a righteous struggle - he’s just taking advantage of the chaos she caused and he needs the seat of power to reach his own goal. He thinks he can do it better and she’s in the way (and to be fair, she thinks the same about him)
It’s your classic slimy politician: “he’s pretending to be for family values etc thing but really he wants power & is in cahoots with economic interests and he won’t do what he promised” etc. ... except with the plot twist that he’s deeply good and not actually all that ruthless.   In a sense he’s as much a total subverted trope as Edelgard.
So doesn’t he have the right to criticise Rhea either? Or do you see how, while not per perfect, he’s miles better and not remotely the same?
Edelgard isn’t 100% truthful, but by and large, she made her intentions very clear with the pamphlets and stuff (even if it meant antagonizing ppl who were against that) and all her soldiers generally know what they’re fighting for and are going to get out of it if they support her, or what the consequences will be if they fail, even if she kept some of the “how” to herself.
Which isn’t to say that Claude ever makes ppl act against their interests even if it’s sometimes what he sees as their interests.
Under Rhea’s rule no one knew what the government’s doing, why it’s doing it, or to some degree, even that she IS the government... for 1000 years. There’s some cult of personality going on. She probably genuinely believes that it does benefit the sheeple to be “guided” by her, but she hasn’t even told Seteth about all she’s doing, she’s pretty much accountable to no one.
In terms of honesty, we could probably rank the lords like this:
Dimitri (a few omissions at worst)
Seteth (lies mostly out of self-preservation)
Edelgard (some convenient secrecy here & there)
Yuri (about the same as El but I’d put him slightly higher for the fake betrayal)
Claude (no one rly knows what he’s up to, but he gets ppl what he promised them and doesn’t outright betray them)
(very)
(big)
(gap)
Rhea (fake history, isolationist bubble, abuse of power left & right, manipulation, will smile in your face while planning to make you a meat puppet for her mom)

Garlameld and it’s Real World Inspiration
Okay, so I’m gonna open up a bit of discussion. The main reason why, is multiple times over the past month, I’ve heard people equate the Garlean Empire to the Third Reich. Which... Isn’t terribly accurate. So here, I’m going to discuss where I believe the garlean empire is based off of, and where else they take inspiration from.
Tumblr media
WAIT! No no don’t just skip by! I know, a lot of people just don’t give two shits about the Garlean Empire, but it’s kinda becoming important to a character perspective that we -do- care to understand their basis and their lore more... Even more so with the increased focus they are getting.
Tumblr media
Alright, so lets get started... And please, if you disagree and wish to say so, by all means do it politely and in a way that facilitates discussion. So right off the bat, let me hit out a quick disclaimer.
THE GARLEAN EMPIRE IS NOT MEANT TO BE FF14′S GOOD GUYS, NOR IN ANY WAY AM I ATTEMPTING TO SAY THAT THE EMPIRE IS JUSTIFIED IN EVERYTHING THEY DO, AND HOW THEY DO IT. I AS AN INDIVIDUAL SEPARATE FROM MY CHARACTER, DO NOT CONDONE THE ACTIONS PRESENTED IN LORE AND GAME.
Okay. With that out of the way, let me quickly say -why- I believe it’s important to understand where they are based off of.
BECAUSE WE HAVE A LOT OF SHIT GOING ON IN THE UNITED STATES, AND THE WORLD REGARDING PEOPLE HOLDING BELIEFS ALONG THE LINE OF HITLERS NATIONALIST SOCIALIST PARTY.
It’s awkward, I know, but -PLEASE- bear with me. I remembered when I first started playing FF14, and encountered the Garlean Empire. I took one look at Black/Red uniforms and immediately my mind clicked and went “Oh so they are supposed to be fantasy Nazi’s.” It’s easy to consider that, so lets go over some small points as to why people think they are Nazi’s right off the bat.
Red/Black color scheme, common in association with Nazi characters. Aggressively expansionist against peaceful nations. (I will get into this later) Experimentation on humans and human like races. Very technologically advanced. Racists. Also that one time they tried to blow up all of Eorzea. And they kinda keep killing all the beast tribes.
On the surface, we look at these, and see well... Nazi’s. Really easy right? I mean, they’re dicks, they use Nazi color schemes and everything. Well, lets go into a few of those points.
#1: Fuck you hitler for ruining Red and Black color schemes.
Seriously, it’s a color scheme. I don’t know what you want me to say, but they’re not wearing SS uniforms, and shouting in german while goose stepping through the lands. Some legions, use red and black for their uniforms--- What’s that? Some Legions? Yes! With the advent of seeing the Doman legion, (Who’s uniform we get) we see that the uniforms change their appearance as their uniform is black with a gold trim. So... It’s a color scheme, for some legions, and that’s pretty much it.
#2: Aggressive expansionists.
Alright, this one is just a -bit- tricky so please -please- stick with me on this one. Garlean conquest is based on purely, conquest. Only in -one- place in the lore do we see someone claim Garlean Purebloods to be superior to the other races, and that’s from a mad scientist (Who I will get into later). Instead, what we see is the Garlean Empire expand out, conquer territory, and then subjugating them to service of the Empire, with the ultimate goal of incorporating the inhabitant’s and their descendants as -Citizens-.(This is important)
On the flip side, Nazi expansion was based upon the ideal of Racial Superiority, with a disputed intent among historians. Some believe the end goal was just europe itself, allowing the Third Reich to then create a system of government based heavily upon nationality with the intent to solely benefit the ‘Aryan’ race whom was considered superior over all.
This is not something we see in Garlean expansion, infact whenever a garlean insults member of a newly controlled country, it is all based upon their CITIZENSHIP. This ties in closely with another historical group who I will talk about later...
And as a final point, as to how we see them -treat- conquered territories... We see that for lands that rebel against them, they are quick to put out harsh punishment. Then when ZENOS THE CRAZY FUCKING ASSHOLE gets involved, he -deliberately orders the conditions to be worsened for him to get his jollies off-.(This will be important later.)
#3: Human Experimentation
... This has happened in the lore, within the Garlean empire. Yet, while compared to the Nazi goal of just ‘dicking around and discovering as much fucked up shit as they can’, the experiments we are shown are centered around granting Garlean Purebloods magic, which they cannot use naturally. Infact, the only reason we -SEE- this experimentation, is because Zenos (Aint Nepotism a Bitch) picked up the lost puppy of a mad scientist,  Aulus mal Asina.
First off, FUCK THIS GUY. Seriously. Fuck him. He is not the -STANDARD- within the Garlean Empire. We are even -told- that he became Zenos’ little pet because NO ONE ELSE WOULD SANCTION HIS WORK BECAUSE THEY THOUGHT HE WAS CRAZY. He, is -why- the XII legion is filled with weird mutated creatures and other bullshit. Because Zenos, the crazy fucker decided to bring him -in- to the fold.
Is this a sign that Zenos was just fucking deranged and held little value for life? Or that SE wanted add a dash of Nazi war crimes into the mix of the Garlean empire? Well, personally I believe it was meant as the first, with a little dash of the second. Hell, some could make arguments that the Nazi’s weren’t the only ones to do cruel and inhuman experiments... (YEAH I’M LOOKING AT YOU JAPAN, DON’T THINK YOU’RE OFF THE HOOK EITHER)
#4: They are one of the most technologically advanced groups.
... A lot of former countries/people started empires because they had a technological advantage. This could just as well be based off the USA, England, Egypt, Greece... Or what I’ll point out later.
Secondarily, there is a -CLEAR- lore reason behind this. Garlean purebloods cannot use magic. That’s it. In the lore, the Garlean Republic was often bullied by neighboring countries, and in their search to find a way to fight back... They found Magitech, and then started to -steamroll- through the other nations. So it’s not just making them technologically advanced because “MAKE THEM LOOK LIKE NAZI’S”, there’s a bigger grasp of the lore present... Where it’s used to make UP for a weakness held by the purebloods, which turned out to turn the tables and enable their conquest.
#5: Racists.
Tumblr media
They as a nation, are racist. It’s true. So were Nazi’s. So were the Greeks. So were Romans. So was the Japanese Empire. The Chinese Empire. The French. The English. The United States.
Moving from IRL to the game, there is racisim aplenty there too. Limsa violates treaties with Kobolds because ‘fuck those guys’, and then plays victim. Girdania shows in the MSQ they don’t care about the suffering of the Ala Mhigans, but care more what the elementals think, and Ul’dah... Do I need to really go into how racist and filled with assholes Ul’dah is? Save the Sultana, who is a sugarbun too pure for this world. Hell, it was considered a -great- advancement when a Hyur got to the Syndicate... And Ul’dah also committed literal genocide against a fellow city state in the past.
Discrimination, is not unusual. Hell, it’s -common- in Eorzea, and the world in game from what we see. This is all COMPLETELY different from the racial beliefs of the Nazi party however. As we see no extreme equivalent to the Waffen SS, hunting down the ‘impure’ or those of theological differences. We don’t see concentration camps, though there are prisons for those who -do- resist/rebel. But the distinction of the reason WHY they are in there, will be important at the end. But lets get to the important one...
#6: They want to kill all the beastmen!
... No. I was -shocked- by this, but from what we have seen, the Empire is perfectly fine coexisting with a beast tribe... UNTIL THEY SUMMON A PRIMAL. At that point, they do not discriminate and wipe out the tribe in the area. From the Lupin, to the Anatana, to even the use of Kojin as mercenaries. The Lupin are even brought in as conscripts to be -used- in legions. Anatana are mostly left alone, and end up being attacked by a FUCKING IDIOT WHO DIDN’T THINK PROPERLY.
We even see the empire preparing to clean up some Vanu during the heavensward MSQ... And after having a chit chat with the emperor, and your friend showing up, they bounce back off to their GIANT FUCKING AIRSHIP THAT COULD HAVE OBLITERATED WHERE YOU WERE STANDING.
But, we also know -why- the Empire despised beastmen... They summoned primals, and primals, slowly kill the world. To the Garlean empire, the moment a tribe summons a primal it is an attack upon the world, and -needs- to be quelled... This is -not- the same as the Nazi’s irrational hatred. HOLD ON DON’T GET READY TO THROW ME TO THE GALLOWS! This does NOT mean it is justified, and right... But rather the distinction is IMPORTANT. Moving on from this...
#7: They kinda tried to blow up Eorza.
Tumblr media
... That is a thing we did. that is very much a thing we did. Although, that is really... Really not a Nazi thing, and if anything, was more a ‘America and the Nuke’ inspired event.So... Not Nazi inspired. Just as genocide inspired as dropping the nukes, WHICH I UNDERSTAND AMERICA WAS/STILL IS PRETTY FUCKING RACIST AND EVERYTHING AROUND THAT WAS JUST FUCKING TERRIBLE...
But it’s not a Nazi thing. It’s just a insensitive to life thing. Of course, the whole reasoning behind it ICly was “FUCK YOU IF WE CANT CONTROL YOU WE WILL BLOW YOU UP” because Eorzea kept allowing primals to be summoned left and right, and outside of one group... Really was not prepared to contain them. So yeah. Crazy, stupid, morally wrong, but not Nazi.
FINE NOW WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU GOING TO SAY THEY ARE INSPIRED OFF OF?
Tumblr media
The Roman Empire. More specifically, during the decline of the Empire. To simplify and not take up too much time, allow me to use a quick list for ya’ll.
-Liberal use of Roman Military structure, with consistent use of roman titles. -Consistent use of citizenship for conquered lands, including the popular ‘military service for citizenship’ -Brutality is often used as a response to rebellion, and not just because of someone’s lineage -The nepotisim that brought Zenos to power, and really, Zenos just embodying late roman emperors. -A republic that became an empire, while still keeping the senate intact.
These are just a few. But hey, if you disagree or wish to discuss, please... Feel free.

>The North Koreans are nowhere near getting MIRVs just yet That's what we said about the DPRK and nukes small enough to fit on a missile, oh look they developed those within a month of that statement!
Yeah,no.
There’s another question in my inbox asking me if I’m surprised that things are happening this fast - in regards to the now confirmed existence of North Korea’s functional re-entry vehicle. That was another “leak” to the WaPo, naturally, with someone “reading a DIA report to them over the phone.” But this leak seems like something any number of people would want to make - to make it absolutely clear to the public just how immediate and dire the threat is, considering the usual fuckface retards are mouthing platitudes about “diplomacy being the only way forward” as we sit here watching them finish loading their goddamn gun, sitting on the world’s biggest arsenal of loaded guns we refuse to use. The media is currently launching an all-out campaign to convince the world that we just can’t possibly take out North Korea, that it’s all over, that there’s no possible way the most advanced and powerful military in the world could decisively end this existential threat to our people. This has led to the simpering fucks at the Guardian telling us we should reward North Korea by giving them what they’ve demanded for thirty years, a retreat from the South Korean peninsula, as if proving that we’re cowards that can be intimidated will somehow make them stop intimidating us and throw away the tools of said intimidation. That’s how we get the usual hand-wringing apologists in the Atlantic whining about the unacceptable one percent chance of North Korea nuking their regional neighbors now that we’re staring down the barrel of a very likely fifty or hundred percent chance of them nuking our own fucking cities. Naturally, they cite civilian “analysts” and “former Generals” presenting worst-case doomsday scenarios - neither of which have access to current intelligence, and neither of which represent the full consensus of everyone else in the military and intel community who’s job is to analyze this shit. Every histrionic doomsday scenario ever voiced by the likes of War is Boring or other horseshit-mongering outlets are mouthed verbatim without a shred of critical skepticism - all to support the conclusion that all we can do is sigh and fold our hands and just bend over and accept the inevitable.
This is how they always do things - they actively work against containment measures - building a fucking nuclear reactor for North Korea, making a sham “deal” with the Iranians that they’re already openly flaunting, etc. - and then when they finally do get weapons they whine and cry and throw their fainting forms over the furniture and go “oh no, it’s too late now, we just have to accept the world as it is.”
This is deliberate; a direct reflection of their moral relativism that posits America no better than any other state, no matter how despotic, depraved or vile it is. Nothing emphasizes the point better than this passage:
Then Kim Jong Un, with his bad haircut and his legion of note-taking, big-hat-wearing, kowtowing generals, would be gone. South Korea’s fear of invasion from the North, gone. The menace of the state’s using chemical and biological weapons, gone. The nuclear threat, gone.
Such a stunning outcome would be a mighty triumph indeed! It would be a truly awesome display of American power and know-how.
What would be left? North Korea, a country of more than 25 million people, would be adrift. Immediate humanitarian relief would be necessary to prevent starvation and disease. An interim government would have to be put in place. If Iraq was a hard country to occupy and rebuild, imagine a suddenly stateless North Korea, possibly irradiated and toxic, its economy and infrastructure in ruins. There could still be hidden stockpiles of nuclear, biological, and chemical weapons scattered around the country, which would have to be found and secured before terrorists got to them. “Success,” in other words, would create the largest humanitarian crisis of modern times—Syria’s miseries would be a playground scuffle by comparison.
God for-fucking bid the North Koreans be liberated from the murderous, insane regime that keeps them in miserable, dirt-scraping poverty, inches from starvation, that tortures them to death, that puts multiple generations of families in prison camps where they’re worked to death for the slightest of imagined political “crimes-” god forbid they be set adrift. I grew up with the Iraqi war, listening to these sniveling cunts rhapsodizing about how much better Iraq was under Saddam, how children were “flying kites without a care,” how the Iraqi people were safer and better off under the brutal tyrant who slept around in a dozen palaces, murdered and gassed his own people by the thousands, and who’s brother was infamous for his “rape rooms” where he’d savagely violate random women he had his goon squad snatch off the street.
This is the true nature of the people who got us into this fucking mess in the first place - the moral relativist rot at their core.
Fuck these people - and all of their ilk. We have ALWAYS known this was coming - it’s only these fuckheads who are acting surprised about it.
In 2009 I wrote a paper for a level 400 Poli-Sci class on international relations, specifically about the North Korean Tapedong-2 ICBM. The Tappy-Dong is a glorious clusterfuck more resembling a Kerbal Space Program atrocity than an actual launch vehicle; it’s three different Chinese-sourced SRBMs (thanks, China,) taped together, one atop another, to form a ghettoized three-stage weapon. Technically speaking, this unreliable, rickety pile of shit is ICBM capable - it’s the launch vehicle the Norks used to put their recent satellites into orbit. During my research I uncovered extensive information regarding the intensive co-operation between North Korea and Iran, which has a much more mature SRBM/MRBM force that they rely on to ensure regional hegemony. I also learned that Iran has a surprisingly advanced domestic arms industry - though their fully indigenous development programs still leave much to be desired, they’re still capable of manufacturing most of the spare parts for their foreign-sourced weapons themselves - like the Chinese, their tech base is competent enough to copy other’s innovations fairly well, and iterate on them. That’s a tech base quite capable of making advancements on ballistic missile technology, and Iran is also an oil-rich nation that’s similarly an international pariah, with every reason to work together with the North Koreans to circumvent the punishing economic sanctions that inhibited both of them.
I saw all of this coming in 2009. I knew it wouldn’t be long - 2020 at the latest, 2015 at the earliest. And sure enough, here we fucking are. The only people who didn’t see it are the one who willingly covered their eyes and are now gleefully telling those big bad Imperialist Americans that there’s nothing we can do now, oh em gee, just accept it you big bullies!
Fuck all of these bastards. I mad.

Law and Order
The extreme totalitarian regime presented in 1984 uses the character WInston, an average Joe in a much larger system that he can’t even fathom and will die not wanting to understand. Winston is a mere representation of how cruel and effective a totalitarian regime can be. I only say effective because the ones in power will indefinitely remain in power, and the way they run things will always proceed as planned. The sad part is the story isn’t really about Winston which makes him as insignificant as INGSOC and Big Brother makes him out to be, and makes the idea of a regime as extreme as this even more daunting. The better focal point of the story is how “The Party” was able to establish a regime that inevitably drove Winston to truly believe that two plus two equals five after being tortured for information by The Ministry of Love and his boss who tricked Winston into joining a fake rebellion. No one is allowed to live or love, everyone is under constant surveillance, and people are either corrected, or vaporized and forgotten for the most trivial of transgressions.
History was a lot different in this world, the effects of modernism turned the early 20th century into a bloodbath with the world fighting for power, which inevitably ended with nuclear war decimating almost everything. After a period of civil unrest three superpowers rose all establishing similar totalitarian regimes. Russia invaded Europe and became Eurasia under a the ideology of Neo-Bolshevikism, and after a decade of fighting within itself China became Eastasia under the ideology The Obliteration of the Self. After the war the US and Great Britain joined together and became one country along with Canada, South Africa, South America, Australia and New Zealand was now Oceania. What used to be western civilization went through a civil war between capitalism and a new homegrown ideology, and this ideology won and formed to a single party known as INGSOC. The three superpowers at that point are always in a state of war over an area in the world called the equatorial front. For the people of Oceania, even though this happens over the course of decades it might as well have happened thousands or millions of years ago since anything before INGSOC isn’t even a memory, and simply didn’t exist.
The story takes place in Great Britain, but people who live there have only known it as Airstrip 1. The party’s grip on the mind is so strong that what was an unquestionable fact, like a name, is now a faint dream, and they start questioning if it really happened, then they simply forget. The control of information is INGSOC’s most prominent attribute because facts are not equal to reality, and reality can be changed whenever INGSOC and Big Brother wants it to. INGSOC didn’t just change society, they destroyed it completely, and remade it into something where only it can thrive, like a parasite.
“The Party” isn’t even considered as part of society because technically it is it’s own society that exists within society, they have their own culture, rules, and traditions. It really has to worry about its own stability in order to survive. In a way it’s like the human body, where it purges any harmful elements, although in this case they purge the educated and those who aren’t wholeheartedly loyal to the ideology. Mass purges occurred in the 50’s and 60’s within the party where INGSOC removed every threat of the old world in order to solidify itself among fanatic new supporters. This way INGSOC is able to monopolize information, history, and facts. There are three main classes in Oceania’s society, one is the Inner Party, the secretive heads of state, which is 2%, the Outer Party, the still devoted educated and bureaucrats, which is 13%, and then there are the Proles which is everyone else, and it’s where Winston is on the hierarchy. The Proles are the uneducated masses and are easy to manipulate whether it be by nationalistic pandering or to create a fake crisis. The Inner & Outer Party control four ministries, housed in pyramids that tower the London skyline, there is the Ministry of Peace, Ministry of Love, Ministry of Truth, and the Ministry of Plenty. The Ministries of Love and Truth are the most important because they are the pillars that maintain INGSOC’s ideology from being questioned. The Ministry of Truth destroys or rewrites history and facts, and the Ministry of Love “recorrects” anyone who question these “facts”, or they just disappear.
The way that George Orwell describes this process, is that over the decades the party was able to normalize attributes that haven’t existed in the west for centuries such as class divide, uneducation, and mass atrocities and censorship by state. These attributes were allowed to exist because anyone who didn’t agree with it was too unimportant, or is already dead. Then these attributes were solidified with youthful and nationalistic young adults to the point where children would report their parents for thought crimes. Thought crimes are any ideas that goes against the established ideology, and one can literally cease to exist for committing one, and I mean literally. This isn’t like having a coworker disappear, but completely forgetting that coworker even existed in the first place. Even the mention of someone who has disappeared by a family member or a loved one is also considered a thought crime. INGSOC basically breaks down language into little bits in order to make debate controllable or refutable which gives them a monopoly on political discourse because it made the words up. This goes beyond a weird language since the brainwashing is a cultural manifestation that goes into each individual mindset. Bureaucrats can change reality and history as they please because they are aware that no one will think about. This idea is called doublethink which is a newspeak term where individuals hold two conflicting beliefs, and believing both of them equally. The best example of this is the ongoing war between the three superpowers where the party claims that they have always been at war with Eurasia even if they had claimed beforehand that they were always at war with Eastasia, and people simply accept these changes as reality.
All this raises the question of INGSOC as a political party because it’s definitely not Green Party. INGSOC is a pure product of doublethink. Officially it’s a socialist because it teaches that the days before the revolution were horrendous with average citizen having to literally bow down to the capitalists. At the same time INGSOC hates socialists and this is openly admitted by everyone, but no one sees anything wrong with that, and that’s the power of doublethink. This ideology isn’t that different from that of Eurasia or Eastasia, all three superpowers basically have similar regimes, and continuous relationship between them is war. War is what runs the world, it’s what allows these nations to survive, and is used as propaganda against the uneducated masses. The thing is these nations aren’t even fighting over resources or power, but are simply fighting over nothing. The equatorial front is basically an arena, that belongs to no one, for the three nations to fight and dispose of built up economic waste. Borders are always shifting, countless soldiers die, and natives are enslaved and transferred between the three countries to work for the war machine which continues the cycle. They can just nuke each other and attack actual homelands, but that disrupts the balance of power, so they constantly fight over territory they don’t want in order to keep what they do have, nationalism and monopoly on information. This is a consistent theme in the story that information and its control are important. Everything INGSOC does is in order maintain the ignorance and manipulation among the masses. Orwell also shows how hard it is for a society or an individual to actually reach this state.
District 9 is probably the most realistic representation of how humans would treat extraterrestrial life on a social level. The film starts by showing a huge alien ship hovering over Johannesburg, and later humans get on the ship and make contact with the aliens, or prawns, to find out that their ship stopped working, they are destitute, and have nowhere else to go. The government allowed the prawns to take refuge in an isolated camp, that inevitably turned to slums, for them. The film follows Wikus who’s an oblivious, aloof, and generic bureaucrat who works with alien affairs to maintain relationships with the prawns. Wikus undergoes an accident when he opens an alien vial and ingests a foreign substance that slowly changes him into one of the prawns. Throughout the movie he arches from being one of the bad guys into being the hero as he helps save the lives of a prawn and his son that have a way to get the mothership off planet and back to their home world.
The prawns are essentially an extra-terrestrial, space faring race of biologically insectoid sentient beings. They’re more advanced than human beings regarding their technological and engineering capabilities. The species is bipedal, they’re much taller than humans, and are covered with a tough exoskeleton. They’re carnivorous but seem to like cat food because it has the same effect on them that catnip has on cats, and they’ve even seem to develop an addiction which is exploited by humans traded it for valuable alien tech. They’re also much stronger than humans and are seen easily tearing human limbs. They’re technology is biomechanical, and only functions with prawn DNA.
The film is an allegory to apartheid in South Africa with District 9 named after District 6 which was in real life an only white zone after all the natives were forced from their homes and had to live in Cape Flats which then turned into slums. The prawns are an intelligent life form that are mistreated throughout the movie. Overtones of racism and oppression are riddled throughout the plot. The prawn’s community is over policed, and humans use excessive force to keep prawns in line, and it really highlights how cruel humans can be to one another. The prawns are treated as subhuman which is interesting because certain people are also treated as subhuman, so having the prawns there in order to represent an even further divide is interesting. The film also shows that communities such as this become violent due to these communities being isolated, being treated as though they don’t belong in the outside world, and how they’re represented in the media. When any sentient conscious creature is treated and seen as a criminal for long enough, there is a high possibility that that group of people will start to conform to these ideas, and start believing them as well. There was more crime being committed by the prawns the more over policed their community became. The plot also takes an ironic turn where Wikus becomes more humane the less he becomes human.
Over 2.3 million people are currently incarcerated in the US and 9% are in private prisons. In the 1980’s state penitentiaries were reaching capacity, and they simply couldn’t afford to take in anymore inmates. That’s when the Corrections Corporation of America (CCA) came in made deals with state governors to save the state some money. Tom Beasley, one of the cofounders of the CCA stated “You just sell prisons like you were selling cars, or real estate, or hamburgers.” In 2015 the CCA made over $1.7 billion dollars. The funny thing is that they don’t even save the taxpayers money, and they cost about the same as a government run facility. According to one study in the University of Wisconsin, private prisons also give twice the infractions as state prisons, and they can lengthen an inmate's sentence, which means the prisons profit more. Private prisons basically make more money when there are more prisoners since they sneak occupancy clauses into their contracts that require states to keep their prisons full. In Arizona the state was unable to meet the 97% quota and had to pay MTC a $3 million fine. It’s fines like this that incentivize states to keep people in prisons as long as possible.

Reviews for the End of the World
I wrote this piece for a practicum I was a part of in college.  Still pretty recent, still pretty relevant.
Lately I have been thinking a lot about the end of the world. Maybe it’s because in multiple classes I’m in this semester we have been discussing zombie novels and climate change. Maybe it’s because I’ll be going to Los Angeles soon and I’m pretty sure that North Korea is going to nuke it. Maybe it’s because I’m graduating from college in a month and have no idea what I’m doing next.  Whatever it is, I’ve found that the best way to feed my fears is to read dystopian literature, and these have been great for reminding me that there is very little hope for the future.  According to my literary research, the world is going to end in one of three ways (or through a combination of the three): widespread plague (zombie kind included), environmental destruction, and/or total political collapse.  So I guess the thing here is, pick your poison.  Humans seem to be to blame for the end of the world any way you slice it.
I have to say, I love zombie stories.  Yes, it got really annoying when a few years ago literally everything had to do with zombies (which is the context for when this first novel was published), but that trend has kind of died down now, and I can get behind it again. There’s something comfortingly ridiculous about zombies, like they’re scary, but completely unrealistic.  No way the world is going to end in a zombie apocalypse.  Plus, all that talk of plague kind of makes it feel like it’s not the fault of humans; it’s “nature… correcting an imbalance… comeuppance for a flatlined culture,” as the Lieutenant says in Colson Whitehead’s Zone One.  And in a way this is true, but Whitehead’s novel does not shy away from the idea that humans are getting what’s coming to them; after all, it is their dead, sleepy culture, transfixed by technology, that has lulled them into a false sense of security.  Whitehead also makes an effort to point out the environmental damage that was occurring in the world before the zombie apocalypse broke out.  Clearly, something (many things) should have been done to prevent this.  Yet if the zombie apocalypse had not occurred, our protagonist, Mark Spitz, would not be the main character of anyone’s story.  Mark Spitz is the most average man on the planet, according to even himself.  He does nothing out of the ordinary, never pushes himself to excel or lets himself completely fail; he is, as he says, a solid B in everything.  But his ability to adjust to his environment, to allow himself to blend in and do what must be done, is what allows him to survive among the undead, and frankly, it is in this environment that he thrives, never seeming to be anything special but always able to survive.
First he survives the Last Night, when the virus that turns humans to zombies broke out for real.  He then makes his way to New York City, the place he’d always wanted to live before the outbreak, and it is here that he finds some semblance of civilization.  Mark Spitz, along with his unit, is assigned the task of clearing out Zone One (Manhattan) of remaining zombies (“skels”) that were not killed by an initial sweep conducted by the military, as well as stragglers, zombies that are fixed to certain spots that were important to them in their lives before—unmoving, unresponsive, slowly decaying corpses.  Whitehead’s version of zombies is uniquely compelling, in the way the disorienting timeline, shifting fluidly from past to present, is presented and in its provoking portrayal of the human condition after the world has experienced such trauma, such as the exploration of “Post-Apocalyptic Stress Disorder” (PASD) and whether or not racism will exist if the world ever reconstructs itself (hint: it’s suggested that it unfortunately probably will).  I have no delusion that I would make it very far in a zombie apocalypse, but Whitehead’s vision of the future world is interesting and thrilling enough that I would almost want to live in it for a moment.  Almost, but not really.
In a slightly more realist vein, Octavia Butler’s classic Parable of the Sower looks at Los Angeles in the 2020s, when America has fallen to environmental and economic disaster.  Lauren Olamina, a preacher’s daughter, lives just outside of Los Angeles in a small, gated community that is not wealthy but provides adequate protection.  Predicting that the world she knows in her gated community will soon come crashing down, Lauren prepares herself for when she might need to flee north, where it is rumored there are still jobs and plentiful water.  Described in crazy close detail through Lauren’s journal entries, her vigilance proves to be warranted as pyromaniac drug addicts storm her community and kill her family and friends.  Lauren then journeys north with little more than the baggage of her loss and grief and the company of two friends from her old life, growing into a group of survivors she picks up along the way.  Butler’s tale seems to weave in a little of everything: religion, politics, race, gender, class.  Through Lauren’s honest and straightforward narrative voice, Butler creates an America that is entirely new yet somehow all too familiar, and Lauren’s ultimate goal in creating a community around a religion she has shaped, Earthseed, in incredibly inventive.  To start each chapter, Butler includes a quote from the parables Lauren has created for Earthseed:
“God is Power—
Infinite,
Irresistible,
Inexorable,
Indifferent,
And yet, God is Pliable—
Trickster,
Teacher,
Chaos,
Clay.
God exists to be shaped.
God is Change.”
Heavy stuff from a girl who is only fifteen when the novel starts. Lauren is the kind of person you want on your side during the apocalypse, and she also knows how to write a good parable for her audience of ragtag survivalists.  Butler’s skill at placing herself in this future where “God is Change” is truly astonishing.
Here is the kind of novel that scares me the most in its horrifically exact detail.  Though I somewhat doubt that America will end up in the state that this novel describes within the next ten years, fifty years from now does not seem unrealistic, especially considering that this book was published in 1993, looking thirty years into the future.  The environmental disaster described in Parable of the Sower is all too frightening for someone who lives in Los Angeles and recognizes the accuracy of the problems in the novel relating to fire and lack of water.  I find the end of this book to be somewhat more hopeful than other dystopian novels I’ve read (no spoilers), and I think that a lot of this has to do with Lauren’s insistence on building a community; this is a somewhat strange community based on Earthseed, but the book does seem to point to the idea that even when the world is ending, there will be people who will try to keep human warmth and contact a priority.  I found Parable of the Sower interesting also in its depiction of the government and corporations.  The government here hasn’t completely fallen, but corporations have basically been given free reign, and Lauren and her band of followers ponder on the idea that these corporations seem to be bringing back a new form of slavery, one not totally based on race like in America’s early history but still closely linked, an idea that seriously occupies the mind of Lauren, who is black.
A great predecessor of the previous two books, Margaret Atwood’s 1985 book, The Handmaid’s Tale, also deals with religion, gender, and class, though in many different ways and on the opposite coast.  If race is the dominant issue for Butler (which I’m not necessarily saying it is), gender will be the main concern in the future according to Atwood.  In The Handmaid’s Tale, we have finally arrived at a dystopia where the government has truly fallen, and it is women who suffer under a new regime.  Environmental destruction plays out in the background of this novel; because of pollution and toxic waste, fertility rates have dropped drastically in the world, and women who have been arrested or declared sterile can be shipped off to the ecological wastelands of the Colonies for the rest of their lives.  However, it is in the continental United States that the action is occurring.  After years of sexual liberation and feminist movements, men feel as if they have no purpose in life anymore, as they have no one to protect or take care of—there was a pandemic “inability to feel” for men in the old days.  A governmental coup is arranged, and the Republic of Gilead is born. In this society, women are not allowed to read or to go out on their own except on specified occasions, such as shopping trips.  The novel’s protagonist is Offred, who becomes a Handmaid, women who are basically concubines for high-ranking officials in the government.  Once a month, Offred must have sex with the Commander that she lives with while his wife, Serena Joy, is in the bed with them.  Offred’s sole job is to produce an heir for the Commander, but in this age of drastically decreased fertility, it is a risky job to hold.
In Atwood’s rendering, this future totalitarian state is icky and repressive and deservedly a rallying cry in feminist literature.  I read an interview by Atwood once that said that everything that happens in The Handmaid’s Tale was taken from stories around the world of events that have already happened before (i.e. Puritans, Communist Romania, etc.), and this presents another terrifying way that the world as we know it could fall.  Everything that we thought could never happen in a country like the United States (in its technologically advanced, democratic civilization or whatever) could very well happen.  And if it’s a world where women are completely subjugated and not even allowed to read, this is the world of my nightmares.  Atwood’s book again gives at least a somewhat hopeful ending, firstly by including an epilogue and secondly just in Offred’s act of recording her story, or, more precisely, in that she “would like to believe this is a story [she’s] telling” because “if it’s a story [she’s] telling, then [she has] control over the ending.  Then there will be an ending, to the story, and real life will come after it.”  I think that this novel then offers the greatest hope of the three for possible human redemption, seeing as there could be an “after,” but how well humans can redeem themselves is still questionable.
Whitehead is clearly working under the lineage of Butler and Atwood, building his own vision from the legacies they left.  Nearly thirty years separates The Handmaid’s Tale and Zone One, but writers are obviously still not done thinking that the end of life as we know it is fairly eminent.  And as someone who has just spent the last eight months writing my own dystopian-esque thesis/novella, the questions and themes relevant to these works have been on my mind a lot, adding to the list of reasons why I’ve recently been so interested in apocalyptic literature.  Honestly, I basically wrote a dystopian piece in response to the astonishment and horror I felt at the 2016 US Presidential election of Donald Trump. And arguably, Spitz, Butler, and Atwood are not just fantastically writing about the future either; we respond to our current situation by predicting how contemporary events will play out into the future, and sometimes, as especially is the case of Atwood and Butler, we look to the past to find patterns for what lies ahead.  This presents a pretty disheartening view of writers’ outlooks on the present state of the world; if we use the present and the past as our models of zombie- and authoritarian-filled futures, there seems little hope that humans will magically change their ways anytime soon. But I guess that’s what makes these books so powerful and so gripping in our imaginations; at first glance they may seem far-fetched, even absurd, but by following the stories of these individuals who have survived and are sharing their intimate secrets with us, we pick up on little details that seem all too familiar to our lives and our current world, and suddenly we are face to face with the idea that, oh god, we kind of believe this could happen to us, too.

New idea for a neat God game
I call it DWEYW: The God Game No-one Asked for.
The game is chock-full of references to other games or genres, such as Spore and Rimworld. The game itself has a simplistic artsytle, with pawns looking something like this: https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0118/5972/products/Wood_Man_Peg_20_2_grande.JPG?v=1478631803. You start off by selecting a planet to host your civilization. You can either randomize or personalize the world using an editor, or chose pre-made worlds such as Earth, along with other places that reference various real-world or fantasy locations (Mars, Westeros, etc). You raise your civilization from stone-age throughout the course of societal evolution all the way up to the “Technological Singularity”. This meaning they become a space-faring civilization with the capability to explore and colonize distant worlds throughout space, each with randomized conditions, wildlife (which also is randomized itself), etc.
But what sets it apart?
Now, this may seem like your average everyday God-game, but while the game lacks in originality, it will certainly make up for in game-play and mechanics. In your society, your will have to deal with all the societal problems we have faced throughout our history. You will need to deal with including but not limited to:
-Materials
-Wealth
-Food/Water
-Diplomacy with other rival nations
-War
-Worldwide war (at the later stages if things really go south, earlier  if everyone is really that bad at being nice or there are too many warmongers)
-Warmongers
-Famine
-Death and Destruction, such as plagues and the such.
-Racial bias and tension
-Corruption
-Peoples overall happiness
-Government type and how well it functions or if it can even sustain itself.
-Distrust of the people
-Rebellion
-Uprising
-Global Uprising
-Anarchy
-Tyranny (or Democracy, depending on your government type)
-Advancement
-Apocalyptic scenarios and local or even worldwide setbacks, such as economical depression.
-Environmental factors
-ETC
Everything is randomized for replay value. You could have a utopian run, where everyone lives in harmony and you unify your species by year 400. On the contrary, you could have a run where the world turns into a nearly inhospitable, Orwellian landscape where war rages between tyrannical governments for thousands of years and your still in the iron age by year 3900. Asteroids could set your civilization back to the stone age if you don't prepare. Plagues could ravage your civilizations and collapse a highly advanced society because you lacked in medical research. Your decisions directly affect how things can turn out, and everything is in some way preventable. Maybe next time try to plant some crops underground and build bunkers before the next cosmic disaster strikes you?
How does progression work?
Your civilization will progress through stages depending on its technological level. As you research more and more, you advanced along stages and can upgrade or directly replace certain elements, buildings, etc. At the beginning, almost everything will have to be micromanaged. However, as you become more and more advanced, you are rewarded by both power and less tedious workloads. Somethings will still have to be interacted with somewhat, such as war or disasters. That robot was never programmed to kill space parasites from XN-73-KZQ that your colonists brought back. You did quarantine them... right?
How does War and Diplomacy work?
Every nation will usually have city's, towns, or at least buildings. As you destroy more and more of a nations territory, it's Capital City will become more and more vulnerable. If you wish for a military victory, rather than a surrender, you must destroy a nations capital. A nations capital will be the most guarded place in their territory for obvious reasons, so you must plan carefully. There are, however, ways to win a war without even directly destroying a building (such as cyber war, which can destabilize a country). Also, a nation will increase defenses of territory as it becomes more and more alert. What may be a cakewalk in one game, may be a fight through hell in another because the nation you are attacking has been placed on high-alert. Onto Diplomacy. You can give nations weapons, money, territory, etc. You can hold conferences where your decisions and the topics can vary greatly, and your performance predicts the outcome. There are many other diplomatic things and stuff, but the list would be monumental. Along with all this, one leg thing will also be prevalent.
Fear.
Specifically, how afraid other nations are of you. If you are a squishy, snuggally, cutesy-woosty pumpkin nation who would never hurt a fly, then the Tyrannical dictatorship next door would probably jump at the opportunity to gain more land. However, if you are that tyrannical nation (or a bad-ass Democracy with the military might 600 Spartan Empires), and your actions include but are not limited to voluntary civilian manslaughter, discretionary nuclear bombing, etc... you can strike fear into the hearts of weaker nations who might wish to ally you to protect themselves and wont make too much of a fuss when you bomb Treschuland because they said mean things about you. However, war-crimes like these also anger equal and stronger nations, along with somewhat weaker nations that think they are hot shit.
Also, as a quick reminder, other nations can do and use anything that a player nation can. This means they can use nukes, cyber warfare, diplomatic actions, etc and etc and etc.
Space colonization?
Space colonization will work similar to how it works in Spore. If you have every played Spore, you know what I mean. Every planet has everything randomized. From land-masses to hazards to wildlife. Wildlife itself is also randomized using parts that the game will use to create more random stuff, similar to how Starbound does it. Unlike Spore and Starbound, however, the galaxy in this game does not adopt the Mediocrity Principle. Instead, finding intelligent alien life will be an extremely rare occurrence. Intelligent life can be randomized using alien creature parts, but the computer will use mostly intelligent-only alien parts when randomizing the species. The player can research terraforming and creature creation tools, which allows them to plant their own ecosystems. Similar to Spore, they can also use tools that allow them to uplift a certain species of a planet. Alien civilizations will go through the same problems as the player civilization, meaning they can also be easily destroyed.
What is the ultimate goal of the game?
There isn't, really. However, if you really want an ending, you can reach the center of the galaxy and become enlightened. This grants you infinite power of creation and destruction throughout the galaxy (basically makes all of your stuff have infinite ammo). Now you may be saying “That sounds way to much like spore!” and to that I say:
Yes. Yes it is. But you try coming up with something better.
SPECIAL MODE: Infection
This mode is unlocked after reaching the space era for the first time. Until then, it is hidden from the player.
Spread a zombie virus similar to Infectinator! Spread a virus throughout worlds you create or others create (or use savefile worlds. Be warned- they will use their advanced technology. No harm will actually come to them if you destroy them in infection though! Savefiles will be left untouched.). As you destroy and infect more people, the area will become more and more fortified by police and eventually military personnel! There are 7 stages of destruction:
Civility: Everything as usual. Nothing to see here.
Disturbance: People are confused. Minor police presence.
Unrest: People are starting to get scared. More are starting to get into buildings. Larger police presence, along with some SWAT. Builds start being fortified, albeit minor.
Riot: People have lost their wits. They are either barricaded inside buildings, scavenging, or have taken up refuge in safe-houses. Large SWAT presence and some Military personnel. Buildings start getting more fortified. Safe-houses start
Anarchy: The location is almost up in flames. Military have drastically increased their presence and have called special forces. Tanks, ATTK Helicopters, and other offensive vehicles begin to roll into the streets. Some buildings become extremely fortified, including artillery.
Aftermath: Military has abandoned the location. The area is largely destroyed, and very few people remain. Area is considered destroyed.
(Extra) Devastation: Very few, if any, buildings are still standing. Area is completely uninhabited by living beings.
As more and more of the world becomes destroyed, other unaffected areas being to buff up as-well, simulating a real worldwide zombie crisis! There are 3 control modes for zombies:
Horde: You mass control zombies. They pile up into a crowd that you direct with your mouse.
Group: You can select a group of zombie to direct, to a limit of 20. The ones unselected do what they want (which is mainly to C O N S U M E).
Spectator: You can simply sit back and watch the chaos. You have the ability to select and control a single zombie to direct, but no more.
Just extra mechanics stuff
Buildings go through stages of destruction, progressively looking more beat-up. Buildings are considered destroyed at <30% of their health. Buildings are reduced to ruble at 0 health points.
When a pawn dies, a small blood splat will emanate from them, and they will fall over. They then sink into the ground and are removed. In infection, they are not removed but instead turn into zombies.
The world does not end as soon as the worlds climate reaches an inhospitable state, but it will eventually.
The destruction states in infection mode are also used in the base game.
There is a sandbox mode where the player can use commands, debug things, and summon most if not all game events objects. It is unlocked after reaching the games end, but requires a new save game. achievements are disabled when Sandbox is active.
Burning fossil fuels, detonating nuclear bombs, and any more things obviously affect the planet. Mid-space stage empires can research environmental shielding technology, which allows habitation of otherwise inhospitable worlds with city's rather than just colony buildings.

My how-to guide for world peace :)
Were all fighting the good fight, trying to make the world a better place, so please help to spread the word. We can no longer afford to remain silent when we have something to say, we can no longer afford to remain passive when action needs to be takin, we must do what we can, what is best for each of us/all with what we have so that we can help to set a solid foundation for future generations to build upon:
You want to know how to make world peace a reality, well, here you go folks :)
Along with food forests, wire/tunnel like structures over sidewalks made of material that will not rust and stuff that have food and other plants growing/wrapping around them making for a beautiful walk and plenty of free food that you can grab along the way, countless things can be done to cities/buildings/etc to green things up and make them look really cool/artsy/etc and as eco/tech friendly and/or whatever depending on the structures/etc, also having multi storied/layered plant troths/trays/pots, gardens, bee friendly flowers/etc, many people around the world can grow enough food in there backyards and cities to more then feed the entire populous, you can have multi layered gardening/growing/food trays, trays placed on walls, growing ops in houses/buildings, on walls and so on with the proper lightings/etc (And yes we can build underground and in other cool areas too for those who wish to do so, and a company known as AeroFarms have indoor multilayered setups and produce plants/food with 95% less water and no soil, which would be a huge help in many parts of the world :)
There is more then enough room for greenery and the lot and we will have several times more then enough green energies/power/etc, as well as water/liquid/food for everyone/thing (With no money there is no worries about processing the salt water and converting it to fresh water through desalination plants and other methods like reusing/recycling your own water, complex/flexible/highly effective and pyramid +Self moving automated solar panels and magnifying glass like effects and complex wind turbines and countless other things with systems/methods and so on that would cost an absolute fortune back in the days of money that people can now actually use and have many do at home methods :)
For lots of grass and more barren spaces/etc to have trees/plants/bushes/etc, where ever/whatever will not interfere with pipes/repairs/infrastructures/be too much trouble/etc. There will be more then enough changes made to allow for people to figure out how to make sure that we no longer require pesticides and other harmful things and that rabbits and other creatures do not eat/ruin/destroy everything and get out of control with population, diseases/etc, of course, I am referring to being humane, so that we can all, humans and non humans alike properly benefit and have full lives, not to mention all of the water recycling/reusing methods and all the rest of it that will be put into place for everyone - No more money folks, no more money, oh, and as a friendly warning, when cleaning up the air/etc make sure you have the right balances and don’t change things to quickly, and having too little greenhouse gases/etc can result in another show ball earth like that of around 600mil years ago, so be sure to let things get better naturally and balance themselves out as we clean up the lands and waters of the world :)
Plus many more non polluting energy sources/etc to support everyone with a comfortable lifestyle, including the once homeless/etc who will be living in what were once banking/corporate buildings/etc/etc, these buildings and other structures/etc being converted into living spaces and other useful outlets for true/guaranteed sustainable living for all (there will be no more insane waste of space/resources and all the rest of it and just here on Earth alone there is far more then enough materials/etc for everyone and we can clean up our mess and make this planet better then it has ever been) and speaking of space, yes we should pay attention and learn from it, as in having enough professionals/equipment to monitor 100% of the skies for killer rocks and other dangerous cosmic activities and have more attention/action on plans to take care of an otherwise possibly lethal situation, to be healing/monitoring the earth/ourselves/life, we can continue to explore Mars and the rest of it with our machines in far greater details later once we have solved enough of our own troubles :)
You’ve got all kinds of web services that allow you to design your own home, gardens and countless other things, including ideas/inventions and the likes, those along with schooling/teaching websites with different courses, hobbies and so on and so forth can all be easily available to us and people who are good at them being their to help out in the community/etc (obviously not a how to guide on how to build a nuke and such) and managed by the experts in those said fields so that you know all the info you are getting is legit :)
You may think me crazy for this one, but for those who are going to die, no cure/etc (If around people/etc they should have nothing that can spread), I feel that if they want to they should be allowed to go out with a bang (Same with anyone else who meets the proper criteria), having a video cam with live feed strapped to them while skydiving without a parachute (Being in an area where they wont collide with others/etc). Other events, having ancient roam style/etc arenas where gladiators/people fight to the death. Have rooms with magnetic fields/electricity. As well as countless other stuff (I would also want to participate in something if I was diagnosed with a deadly whatevz if I was ever suffering too much without a cure and countless other activities that can be created/etc that will immortalize people).
Have all of the violent enough criminals/etc put together in scenarios similar to “The purge” films (With no time/weapon/etc limits and devices that make sure no one suffers/is tortured at truly unheard of levels while they are still alive/etc) in secure enough locals and so on and so forth (Grand masters/best of the following: Human lie detectors + Lie detector machines, Body/Vocal language experts, Social scientists, Psychiatrists, Aura readers, Spiritualists, White hat hackers, Psychopath/Sociopath finders/etc…whatever for whatever scenarios/etc, all the best the world has to offer in screening people) and I confess that I would want a front row seat to stuff like this, and I don’t think that any of this will be a criminal act (Though I am sure there would be crowds of people that would disagree), on the contrary, I mean, just look at the darknet/web, countless people being abused/starving/etc/etc/etc, so much crap is just so wide and vast WITH innocent enough people who are being tortured/manipulated/takin advantage of/etc against their will/etc, THAT is what people should be fuming about…
You still here?…Good, now, a real solution for this and over 50% of all the destruction/suffering is simple, for as many of us as is possible to either go vegan or as close to it as we realistically can and to push to make more of the proper resources/etc to be made available around the world & as for the rest of the BS only a small amount would remain if money/currency was no longer used, and guess what, if we do enough things right, there will be no need for the bloodshed and everyone, yes, everyone (Myself included of course) can get all the aura/spiritual/physical/mental/emotional/etc help that we truly need as there will be more then enough available to truly do the best we can so we will not suffer at any of there hands, with there also being no forced executions/etc, as there are things that can be used, as the more people that follow/do what is right (Guess “right” is subject to interpretation, I suppose), the more resources/advancements/etc that will be made available/easier it will be, please, the future is depending on us T_T :)
Also, if humanity as a whole is so hopeless, insensitive, violent and the likes today and is not like the so called good old days, then why is it that over 99% of us really don’t want to cause real trouble/problems? We want a better world, and many of us when properly motivated/informed/moved/etc will fight for it (1 in a 100 people equals out to around 70mil - Even if it ever happened where 10%/700mil were at these levels, that still leaves 90% of us). Just to be clear, with this total, I don’t mean only the rich (As in the 1%ers) causing problems, I am referring to all of humanity in all levels/races/etc, and I cannot emphasize enough times about how great humanity really and truly is :)
Anyways, of those few bad apples, very few of the trouble makers are out to cause any real harm that is not due to any events in their lives, just look at the news, they have to scrounge around and even report on other countries/etc to get you stories about this so called chaotic era that is supposedly so bad, look at all the killing the starvations and countless other things that are so tragic/heartbreaking and unnecessary. We are by nature a diverse/peace loving species, so peaceful in fact that virtually all of us just keep taking the shit (Even the kinds that keep getting worse) that the system and the few &%$^&%^&*%&*^&^$@$!@@$#!@#@%$$&^%*&^**^$^&##%@%$$@@$&%^^%s (Who are that way for whatever reason/s) keep throwing our way, lolz :)
If anything we are becoming more enlightened and less violent as time goes on, and yes far more harmful things are coming to light…because of technologies, better understanding, communications which of course can make things seem worse with less being kept behind closed doors/etc and lets not forget about how things can be bent out of shape, the prize winning acts, the tweaking of technology, the lies, false reports/etc/etc/etc that are truly worthy of an Emmy (How many people do you think want to actually go to war/fight as oppose to wanting truly diverse world peace?), far less stuff being hidden/etc/etc/etc. Peace on earth is already here, within our very grasp and aside from the rare persons, who knows, maybe with enough communications certain people can be found to properly help them too) we can properly help everyone who needs it in todays world, great medical, food/etc/etc/etc for all to make life as best we can for us, right now, right this second if we all want, peace around virtually the entire globe and in the not too distant future, all of it, and this will happen, if we let it :)
Here hows it can go with the learning facilities/courses: Music, theatre, making glass and stain glass (Even glass/materials with 100%UVA, 100%UVB, UV400 protection all the way through) + creating with them, metallurgy, welding, auto mechanics/machines, art/drawing, woodworking, computers programming, animation/movie/video game/programming creation, cameras/devices, media, marketing, cooking, countless eco tech/planting/greenhouses/etc so we can have chocolate and all kinds of exotic fruits/etc without having them shipped to us from a gal…er country/place far far away, specialized tanks for exotic foliage, on land and and underwater with temperature/humidity/etc controls and have our own well maintained mini ecosystems and in turn help to save and even bring back extinct life using life/etc that will be happy/do well/etc in these places :)
and buying a roll of tape in Canada that was made and shipped to us from China, ridiculous, such a waste of resources, all the plastics, wasted and currently harmful fuels, pesticides, cheap shortcuts Foods/drinks can be made far healthier/better and much greater quality for other stuff as well), its never ending the unnecessary and extreme sufferings/craziness thats going on with the monetary system, lets have teachings of true/real family/people/humanitarian/emotion, inventors/innovators, psychiatry, how to truly think for yourself and when/how to be a leader and a follower, how to communicate, use ones own common sense, how most of us can be enlightened Rams as oppose to being Sheep for the Wolves, help each other and how to find/spot those that need it, to truly work towards being the best, ever changing/evolving version of you, how to best use technologies to learn the maths, etc, etc, etc, the list is endless, and it too is truly forever evolving, this will open up so many more possibilities that will no longer be out of reach for so many, and there are waste to energy plants that burn garbage/etc without releasing harmful toxins in the air and produce energy (Without money, just think of all the extra energy that would be produced by these and other facilities/methods/etc), and recycling plants/practices/etc are getting better :)
Peace is great yet we should not let down our guard all the same as others may be just biting their time and waiting for the perfect moment to strike with their nukes or what have you, but no worries I am certain that in the not too distant future that we will all be able to manage everything and not have to worry about such things, besides, they live on this planet just as we do and who in their right minds would actually give the orders/etc to use weapons that are that powerful to cause global chaos, cause, again, we all share this world, but at the same time, at least for now, we should keep our nukes, guns/etc, why, because anyone could strike behind our backs and with the proper usages/etc these as far as I am concerned are good things to hold onto, in the right hands, for those that are ready/etc, well, north Korea is just one of the places that just happens to come to mind for the nukes, so yeah, lets be careful, and if we are to get rid of weapons, be certain without a doubt that it actually is the right thing to do, well, it all goes to say, prepare for the worst and hope for the best, someday everything will truly be alright, I am certain of it, we just have to let go of the areas of our current system that are holding us back so that we can eventually, truly get to this point :)
Transportation, not a problem, especially with so many brilliant minds finally being freed up to make it greener/better/etc for us all, plus with so many people being much more community based, in their own towns/homes/cities so to speak we will not be needing to use transport so much, besides how many drive back and forth to jobs that are not even needed or farther away then they need to be (Many jobs out there today should already be obsolete “not the skills of the workers just the jobs” and as for the ones that are truly vital there will always be more then enough people with more then enough skills who love the vital ones/will be more then happy enough to take care of them and us as a whole are naturally a cooperative species and long to share our talents, be with others and just help one another out and even now tons of people volunteer and help others (And yes some of us are introverts/etc, but this can be a good thing too you know), the community/etc who still have jobs and especially when we are free things will be far better then they are now, which is what will happen when we stop using money and move passed the monetary system) and the rest, we will take care of, handle things/help each other as a community, no longer have absolutely ridiculous/plague proportions of waste in regards to food/items/etc so it won’t even be an issue (We’ll keep figuring everything out together :)
Keep in mind the countless materials (Such as all of the plastics, rubbers, glass, metals/etc/etc/etc) that have been tossed (Including many that currently cannot be recycled) wish can be used for countless things and several people with very creative minds in their field will continuously think up awesome ideas/innovations to keep things advancing/going and have continuous, inventions/innovations/creativities that will be so vast and as we truly enter this new resonance era, oh and as for the money of the past, it has been put in many of the DuckTales/Scrooge McDuck style money bins “Built as close to the real thing as is realistically/safely possible with unique looks/designs/etc for each area” with their own currency symbol of course - Amount/sizes of these bins/buildings depending on the monies of each place that have not been kept as souvenirs, fun to go in for a dive, or should a say a swim (Of sorts) every now and again, lolz :)
We can have greenhouses and other stuff galore and we don’t have to give up chips, pop, pizza and countless other great things, plus, amongst other things scientists have already created small bacon strips from stem cells and it wont be long before medical science can create all body parts and even allow for all foods/drinks to be healthy and delicious while being custom made for you and even creating your own unique items and so much more, we will have no scars or nothing, all that being fixed, perfect health and immortality if we wish it and eventually we can be awesome blend of tech/biology, not like the Borg, no, no, no, but to actually register as a pure biological being, kind of think of the future us as being much like a fair number of anime characters with super heightened senses/reflexes/etc and also having the ability to live fully without being negatively overwhelmed, overwhelmed is so crazily and freakishly awesome in the right ways, trust me, oh, and another cool thing, if we loose body parts they’ll grow back, heck eventually we’ll even be able to regenerate like Majin Boos evil half from Dragon Ball Z, but in this case even every last vibe would have to be somehow wiped out, it’s gonna be truly beyond awesome :)
We will feel and know countless things and can mentally be them, nothings dead, everything is alive, separation, nothingness and so much else are illusions, all be it very entertaining ones, life/everything is God and God is a 4D brain, that God is thinking/dreaming reality and I do feel that we ourselves are a madly complex simulation created in a sense by Gods dream, that “all that we see or seem is but a dream within a dream” as Edgar Allan Poe would put it. Anyways, God being 420degrees and greater (Not speaking of the illusions of temperatures as everything is absolute zero “In the most beautiful of ways when ready”, but angle wise), anyways, experiencing so much, all at once, fear is enhanced awareness after all, and hell will be the new heaven, nothing boring/nothing seeming far more dead/hell, but a heaven that is far, far grander then anything that any of us can currently comprehend, and thats just within the beginnings of true wakefulness :)
Imagine eventually seeing countless shades and even varying colours on things that to you now appear to just be one colour/shade, imagine nothing looking flat, having colourations/looks thats are far far superior to a solid/liquid light/Gemstones/medal/silver/crystal/diamonds/buttery/etc combo and being super sharp in detail to say the least, far far fewer things appear so bright to us that they would end up appearing as purely white when they are really not, and naturally, what will be seen/experienced at night will also be truly awe inspiring with far far fewer things appearing as purely black which are really not, seeing, noticing and feeling so much of what is around you, the smells, the sticky/liquid air and so much more, with technology and eventually ourselves we will be able to create plants/creatures, Gemstones, Pokemon, oh, and quick question, but, have you by any chance seen the brave little toaster? (An excellent movie), going in and out of cyber realities, machines/robots/etc constantly upgrading/repairing themselves/etc, heck, pretty much whatever, changing/creating even out of nothingness (Since nothingness is yet another of the countless illusions that we experience here) with being able to properly change the proper vibes/waves/tones/frequencies/etc at some point in the infinitely beautiful/complex songs of life and properly channeled/focused sounds/energies/waves/etc will for the most part be the tools of the future :)
At some point for those of us who still choose to keep at least enough of our being within this realm, we can even be far beyond Odo/changelings from StarTrek DS9 (We will be forever evolving “What you may like to call” Gods that are truly beyond comprehension to the people of today), you see, quite a few things that are “proven” to be impossible today will be proven to be reality tomorrow, and quite a few things that are “proven” to be false today, well, you get the picture (Magic is real, and as has been said before, what is called/believed to be magic is quite simply science/reality that is not yet well enough understood and this is a future that is so far beyond any of our ideas of beauty that it will truly change our perceptions/us in countless on top of countless ways) the future truly is going to be awesome beyond our current imaginings, but, we have to make our forever leaps forward truly begin to happen in this day and age by setting the real/true groundwork/starting point :)
Today people miss so much that they speed through life, talk so much yet say so little, it is very frustrating and is so easy/simple/lacking that its difficult and quite frustrating in many ways to say the least (No offence intended) when compared even to the whale/dolphin and countless other sounds of the beginnings of true/real/universal communications, communications that easily change depending on moods and everything else around you, anyways, people today also being sped up in their actions, their speeding past/being ignorant of so much of what is all around us (Again, no offence intended), and their sped up concepts of time, but in the future we will both move at incredibly fast paces that to us quite a few of our moments will seem as being anything from not being seen at all, to being a blur to perfectly still and anywhere in between, yet our concepts of time will be ultra slow to the point where to the people of today it will seem as if they are not moving at all and the air will seem far far thicker then molasses, so many vibes, electrical feels and fluids right through and on you always moving kind of feeling like having slimy/fiery/electrical/vibrating insects both being and eating alive everywhere/everything, the what to us are like devouring hellish like pure/screaming/demonic evil thats out to devour everything but magnified countless fold beyond anything that our current physical selves can experience/survive as we would be truly torn apart at all levels (Sounds like hell, believe me, I know, but trust me, it isn’t, not when were ready enough for it, to be opened up to it/etc, for this to be ever growing/increasing states of continuing enhanced awareness, a truly incredible life, truly giving a whole new look on being sharp as a knife), and our movements will be fluid/effortless and life will be a continuous flow/dance/form of art of super enhanced awareness as so much will be experience every moment, and life will truly be beyond kick ass folks, now, even though this is a while off, isn’t that something worth fighting for? :)
So, yeah, currently, we are basically like little blips/tones/vibes on the musical scale of the fabrics that make up what is, not just here in the 3D but everything, with the complexities of the earth and life on it all together being like an electron around the sun, now, with that in mind, lets get to God, shall we, so, at any rate, picture the entire solar system (Meaning the whole roughly 2 lightyears worth of it as any effects from the gravity of a solar systems star/s dictates its size) as like the complexities of a rather simplistic atom, and if that wasn’t enough for you, picture everything that is as being like an average adult human as a rough/approximate analogy to the true God/everything, I believe that bees how it actually is in comparison if you count in all laws, all dimensions, the whole works as we are all God…mind blown yet? (This is just the tip of the iceberg compared to the wonders I am describing in a couple of books which I have on the go that I am hoping to finish/publish at some point and maybe even make a movie of my life someday, drawing the audience into my world :)
Anyways, back to reali…er, the modern world, vitamins can be automatically added to foods/drinks/etc to best meet our individual needs (3D printers can create the parts needed to self replicate themselves and even print edible food) and we can even have more grocery stores then ever before with all the good stuff while still keeping things tasting great without the chemical and all the cheeping out and so much other extreme enough stuff that some do to save a buck and gain power/etc, its ruining our planet and causing so much suffering that is just truly beyond ridiculous, but thankfully soon having humane dairy/meet/etc created in the lab then in the comfort of your own home…so many countless/awesome things can be done for the world today (One of many other things that can be done, well, those beautiful/fancy ice hotels/sculptures/etc, many can be made in areas where they will not melt, oh, and eventually we wont even need to eat, we will be able to simulate tastes/sensations/etc and will always have all of the fuel/etc that we will ever need, think Im off my rocker, well, try talking about all of the things of todays world to a fair number of those of around 200-300+ years ago :)
Okay, so, anyhow, with so many brilliant minds free to invent/improve things by continuous leaps and bounds without the countless atrocities/sufferings of money/greed, creativity/life/etc will truly keep evolving by never ending leaps and bounds, but like Egypt (Look at their revolution after their internet was cut for a bit, a small number of the populous stood up to this and look what happened and how virtually all the attacks were done by hired people to try and stop it - Even in Canada and around the world there have been many things like this going on, you may want to watch Alex Jones police state movies amongst many, many other film makers/films that go into great detail about animal cruelties and so much else that are proven to be fact. Anyways, now imagine Egypt on a global scale with we the people always standing our ground-as peacefully as possible of course, but being aware of the trouble makers and continually learning from experiences and handling things better all the time :)
With the world over there are most likely going to be undercover people and others hired to try and make things worse, people rioting, wars started by propaganda and the likes, so we must keep our heads together and our hearts strong, love will win and we must not fall pray to the bullshit of the few (Percentage wise, there are very few people on earth who are committing noteworthy crimes, you know beyond stealing a cookie from the cookie jar or crying, stuff like that, and far more who are keeping the peace, and given the way things are today, that tells me that we will make it, we are a smart/caring/cooperative/peace loving species), and as for those few who are trying to keep us in the dark they will not want to loose this current system and will try to fight till the end and cause as much fear and the likes that they can to try and keep it, so no matter what they cause or the fear, rumours, false footage, reports/etc that they spew out and events that they try to create, we can’t fall pray to hate, revenge, and the likes, we can’t be the fuel that feeds their flame, and we can not give those with deadly weapons reasons to use them, the military/etc are our friends and they are on our side, they are human beings like the rest of us :)
Also, for schools, a fair amount of what they teach you can find on the internet, which in turn can be far better structured to make it easy to find/study what you wish with plenty of online discussion forms/help available as well as your community/etc - Doctors and such you will need hands on training as well, but what I am trying to say is most everything does not require that you have to be physically present in an actual classroom, especially not with a free community and this can also leave even more areas that can be set up for the gifted inventors, thinkers, futurists and so on to come up with new/improved ideas/inventions/etc for those that prefer not to work from home, and places set up where innovators can invent, talk and get what they need :)
We can all have seeds/food/plants that can grow each year, produce seeds of their own/etc, empty lots/etc can be planted/forested (Best to go by natures rules/growth patterns/etc for planting trees and so on as well as repairing areas and reintroducing native plants/species/etc and videos on Masanobu Fukuokas Seed ball method as well as his natural farming techniques are great and so is the homegrown revolution movement, and you may also want to watch “Earthlings - The movie 2005, DIET FOR A NEW AMERICA ✰ John Robbins ✰ Full Documentary 1991, Fast food nation 2006, ENVIRONMENT | THE MUST-SEE DOCUMENTARY, [Inside LSD] - NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC EXPLORER Full Documentary 2009”, amongst many other movies/films/vids/clips/etc :)
When it comes to governments and many other authorities we don’t need them, especially not now, we are a global community and can easily maintain the aspects of anarchist law, and in todays’ world we have more than enough resources and smarts at our disposal to truly work together and make much more wondrous lives for every human being while being able to give the very best of care for all of the suffering (Even if our population was to suddenly double overnight, once we do things right) while still maintaining a very healthy planet, yes, we can still make this world far better then it has ever been for humans and non humans alike even if there were roughly 15 to 20 billion+ people and we will always be able to continue to keep life awesome for all generations to come :)
So awesome in fact that that we may have to use a new word to describe this beyond awesome state, and/or possibly even this new era, maybe something like this one that I thought up, “Phosomancesss” - pronounced as “Faw-Sohm-An-Sisss/Fawsohmansisss :)” (A cross between “Phoenix, Awesome, Om, Renaissance and the hissing sounds of a species once hated/feared by many, know as Snakes”) Definition: A state/place of continuous transcendent evolution :)
I for one would weep to no end if humanity as a whole were to abandon technologies, science/etc/etc as they are (As far as I am concerned) absolutely vital keys to our quality of life, salvation and continuing ascension, completion, awesome lives for the world over and always being there for those that want it, for true freedom and so much more (Someday, because of them we ourselves can become everything that we need so that we will no longer need many of these things, but for now and for a while to come, I say, let those of us who want tech/etc embrace and continue to benefit from all of these things and in turn make lives as best we can for everyone in every way that they wish while remembering to keep their lifestyles/beliefs/etc in mind, lets go wild with museums, amusement parks, religious/holy structures and countless other life enriching/enhancing things :)
As for posting videos and other copyright law/etc stuff, so long as you don’t go plastering your name on other peoples photos/etc you should be allowed to post whatever videos/etc you want while keeping others in mind/etc (Including music, news/etc videos, again, so long as you don’t plaster your name/credit on what you did not create) and to also post your own video creations (Even if you use others photos, clips/etc and giving yourself credit for creating the video is fine just so long as you don’t claim that you created those individual pics/clips/etc, if they are not of your creation) and if people state that they don’t want you to use/post their material for obvious and legit/non crap and non monetary reasons/etc then their personal/etc materials should be kept to them and just having stuff posted on the net, especially if its for the world too see runs the risk of others finding and using it. Also, like so much other stuff, aside from the obvious stuff most of us shouldn’t have/etc, everyone being able to have the computer programs/software/etc/etc/etc of their choosing including otherwise outrageously expensive ones, the sky is no longer the limit, remember, money is no longer an issue :)
When things are truly changing, people will truly be able to heal/bleed out the emotional bullshit and free themselves/there minds, life will be very fulfilling and far from boring without money, to start there will be countless activities/tasks/things to keep you preoccupied whenever you want to do something, not to mention the joys of working together knowing that your helping to clean up the planet and doing countless feel good stuff, help other people/creatures/plants/etc and with people having far more freedoms to invent, create and improve life/etc, just to live, and things will only continue to get better for us as we will in many respects connect like we have connected before and be like one gigantic native American Indian global type of community, we will at last know/feel true/real freedom the world over :)
May your souls of ghostly liquid light spread their cleansing chills 2 hauntingly beautiful tones in the never ending melodies of mysterious holy darkness in life’s eerily eternal song of infinitely awe inspiring complexities, turning fear into enhanced awareness & illuminate the way for others… I am hyper aware, each sense acting as if the others died... Experiences of D Angels through us T_T
More and more, fear becomes realized as what it is, enhanced awareness, and the "fears" (Along with the other emotions bought on) from/of darkness meld together with the light in healing which is a truly hauntingly beautiful thing. It allows for more growth in understandings, sympathies and empathy. It helps to further raise the vibration to not necessarily get rid of the darkness but to make it a part of who you are, but for the better/with it being healed more and more, becoming greater awareness/wisdom & knowledge :)
I find that Transcendental meditation is fantastic, but I can see how it can easily seem too powerful for many as they have either not been through enough in life or have not been through enough training. Transcendental meditation can seem like evil/darkness when in actual fact it is a further transformation into the light :)
Over time it feels as if you are becoming like that of a ghost made of liquid light (Light, that is warm, hot and cool all at the same time), vibrations and tones (An angel), like you are no longer physically aware of weight, substance or material happenings. You/the light has cleansing chills throughout your entire being and feel many ripples and vibrations (Like that from water and really good quality sound systems from all around and within yourself). You become aware that the night and the understandings that come with it are a holy treasure trove when combined with the light/existence :)
