popping back in for a couple seconds, because I am obsessed with these two throwaway characters from the last new year's bit. I need to know more about this fancy overdramatic theater kid and IT nerdling's more-likely-than-you'd-think friendship.
(brb, building an entire mental headcanon around these random characters who will literally never appear again. they have a whole sitcom together...in my heart.)

I forgot to brush my teeth today and DL's heading over in a half hour or so. So I'm cleaning my tongue in the bathroom and I gag and a little of the dumplings I ate came up. It wasn't my intention for that to happen, but that was surprisingly easier than I expected. Like I'm repeating to myself "I don't want to fuck up my esophagus. I don't need another bad habit."

To me the difference between alastors and voxs character energy is that alastor seems like he has made out with every male he has ever interacted with while vox seems like he needs to make out with every male he has ever interacted with

Starting to headcanon that wearing the cloak all the way from the mask down like Dreamers do is not a common way to wear it but that it's more like "prepping the dead for a burial" kind of deal, like a ceremonial thing
Masks will never be covered since they seem to hold importance but a good chunk of the body bellow is a must
Makes me think if the statues of the dead were suppose to represent that, cloaks usually used to wrap bodies like cocooning them for eternal rest but leaving the mask on the face for individual recognition
Dreamers weren't wrapped since they aren't traditionally buried
Edit: Added images with explanations in couple of different reblogs you can see in the notes

Atlas: Taryn? Hey!
Atlas: What happened-
Taryn: Please don’t.
Atlas: Can you talk to me?
Taryn: [ strained ] What is there to say that you don’t already know? I keep asking myself why you’re so nice to me all of a sudden. Why would someone like you be around someone like me and it’s such a… Mind-fuck.
Atlas: I swear to you, it isn’t like that-
Taryn: Am I just a one night stand?
Atlas: [ stammers ] N-No!
Taryn: Convincing.
Atlas: I’m sorry it wasn’t a good enough response, I’m just caught off guard. Why would you assume that?
Taryn: Because my questions made sense the minute you walked out of that building and there was lipstick smeared all over your face. Then you gave me this look, something about it made me realize I wasn’t the first and I don’t think I’d be the last.
Atlas: [ flatly ] We didn’t even catch each other's name, that’s how little it meant.
Taryn: [ barely a whisper ] Oh now that’s incredibly fucked up… Was that supposed to make me feel better?
Atlas: Bee-
Taryn: [ voice breaks ] Was it worth it? [ pauses ] Don’t… Answer that. I’m… Gonna go now.

Voyager's obsession with every female character being a mother either literally or metaphorically is so dire like even SESKA got pregnant. Someone put a planned parenthood in the Delta Quadrant PLEASE. Someone start handing out condoms, this is an EMERGENCY.

I think one of the biggest differences between bangel and spuffy is that angel isn’t a partner to buffy. he’s not even someone she knows that well. he’s not someone she’s ever familiar with, and he’s not someone she can ever fully rely on.
yeah their romance was big and grand and all the things a tragic fairytale romance is. but at the end of the day their relationship is so incredibly surface level. all there is is the idea of love, and not even the real thing.
