As much as I loved Niiyama (and especially that Natsu went there!!!) I still can't help wishing that we'd gotten to see Karasuno girls' team improving (and Natsu maybe playing for them) and seen more of an arc for them, especially Michimiya

The Unexpected Reward - Chapter 15
Summary:  Natsu and Lucy go on a job together, but what they bring home is something neither anticipated. Forced to make a life changing decision, they have to adapt quickly, but that's never easy, especially given the circumstances. As they work together on their toughest adventure yet, they find themselves drawn to one another, in ways they never realised. Nalu/cute/fluff/multi-chapter.
The moon had come out to play by the time the Heartfilia girl finally stirred from her slumber. Casting shadows across the bed she found herself in, she carefully sat herself up and promptly took in the familiar sight of her bedroom. Goosebumps scattered across her skin as the covers fell from her shoulders. Catching a glimpse of herself, she noticed her clothes were not the same borrowed items she'd worn previously, but a slinky night top instead, one that barely covered much of her midriff and a pair of butt-hungry underwear.
Adjusting to the dim glow peering in through the large window, her eyes pored over the room in hope her memories might return should she find what she was searching for, not that she knew what that was, of course. There was something—something important—she knew, but what? It was right there, staring her blankly in the face, so close she could almost touch it…
"Haru!" She yelled, eyes widening when the events of the previous day came flooding back.
In a blind panic, she scrambled to get herself out of the bed, battling with the covers that didn't seem to want to let go. Cursing at them in her haste, she attempted to swing them off of her and felt the frustration rise when she'd accomplished nothing more than nearly tumble out of the bed. Luckily, a single warm hand reached from behind and grabbed her around the wrist, guiding her back onto the mattress just as she was about to face-plant the floor.
"Lucy, what're you doing? You'll wake everyone up with the noise you're making." Natsu's gravelly voice reached her ears from behind.
Turning around, she noted that he had also just woken up, rubbing the sleep from his eyes and yawning loudly. She stared long and hard at him, like she was searching for answers to questions of which she'd not asked yet.
"Natsu…" Tilting her head in confusion, she hadn't even noticed him there. "Where's Haru? Is he okay?"
"He's doing just fine; warm and comfy last time I checked." Natsu grinned, trying to ease the worry that was clear in her expression. "Why don't ya come lay down with me? Then you'll be warm and comfy too!"
"But, I-I…" She hesitantly pulled away from the fire mage, who'd been gently coaxing her back into bed, and walked over to the bedroom door. "I need to peek in on him and see for myself, or I'll never get back to sleep."
Truth be told, when she cracked open his bedroom door, little Haru was fast asleep. A milk bottle still hung from his mouth and a little milky drool had trickled onto the mattress. Lucy stood by his crib side for a moment, drinking in the sight of her son sleeping so peacefully after his ordeal. Smoothing a few wispy black strands away from his eyes, she smiled, relief over taking all sense of dread that had reeked havoc on her and relaxed a little.
Yawning herself, Lucy left the baby's room to return to her own, slipping down under the plush covers. A calmness washed over her, allowing sleep to pull her back in. Her peaceful disposition was quickly ruined when she felt a ruffling of the covers. Her eyes pinged open when two very strong arms came to wrap around her middle and draw her into a muscular torso, one she all but melted into.
"See, I told ya he was fine. You worry too much." The fire mage spoke into her hair, smirking as he nuzzled his head against the top of Lucy's.
"It's not that I didn't believe you; I just needed to see for myself and you were right. He is fine—more than fine—he's perfect!" She confirmed, snuggling into Natsu's firm hold, eyes level with his collar bone. "That was some incredible power he dispelled though, don't you think? It was enormous! I definitely wasn't expecting that!"
"You're telling me, it was awesome! He's gonna be so much fun to spar with when he gets older; I can teach him all kinds of cool stuff!" Natsu beamed in his enthusiasm, already making plans for the little boy.
"You want to teach him your magic? But I thought it was too dangerous? If it weren't for Igneel and his plan, you and the others would have dragonized by now." The blonde pointed out, wondering if the man next to her had thought about the consequences of his magic type.
"Yeah, so? He doesn't have to be a dragon slayer to learn fire magic."
"O-Oh… right. Well, what if he doesn't want to learn fire magic? What if he wants to be a celestial mage, like me?" She asked uncertainly, half expecting him to scoff at the idea.
"Then he'll learn celestial magic… duh! Honestly, Luce, I thought you were the smart one here?" Natsu smirked and Lucy simply rolled her eyes back at him, secretly impressed by his answer.
"What about ice-make magic?" She suggested oh-so innocently, grinning to herself as she heard the displeased growl emanate from Natsu's chest.
"Okay, now you're pushing it…"
Lucy chortled, in turn making Natsu do the same. They turned to each other, moss green peered down whilst chocolate brown gazed up, grinning like idiots no less—like best friends did—just the two of them for the first time since the fire mage had returned from his mission.
Lucy was so contented to have him back in her arms again. The same old dragon slayer that brought joy wherever he went and to whomever he met. A truly pure-natured and beautiful person was he, inside and out, that she really didn't know where her life would be without him.
"I've missed you, Natsu, and I'm so glad you're home now, everything feels normal again." She leaned up to gently caress his cheek with her thumb and felt him move closer, his breath now fanning softly against her mouth.
"I've missed you too, Luce, but I thought about ya everyday!" He gently placed his forehead on hers and relished in her wondrous scent, allowing it to seep into his pores and overtake his senses. "That job was such a drag without you there, it's just not the same."
"At least you had Happy to keep you company. How did it go anyway? I never did get to ask you." She asked, feeling guilty for being so distracted at the time.
"You're gonna wish you hadn't either." He shrugged nonchalantly, obviously not interested in talking about it.
"Oh… Like that, huh? My little wake up call was well received then?" The girl smirked, flicking her nose against his.
Hearing his chuckle rumble through his chest sent a shiver down Lucy's spine. She had certainly stirred something within him. The hunger evident from the way he licked his lips. His tongue glided from one curved corner to the other so fluidly, so intentionally, that he appeared almost predatory. With his face so tantalisingly close, she felt her breath mingle with his. The slight quirk of his lips formed into a knowing smirk once she'd surrendered under his fiery gaze.
Pushing forwards, the lustful dragon welded their lips together, pouring three weeks of needy desire into her mouth for her to swallow down. Lapping it up desperately, a tingle ran from her lips straight down to the heated area between her legs, eliciting a small hum from the pleasant sensation.
He flicked and swirled his tongue across hers, reminding her of all the times he'd done that exact action in other, more intimate places to bring her to the brink of ecstasy. The very thought had her clenching her thighs together to calm the arousal that was surely building. But, she had to pull away all too soon, stifling a yawn that'd rudely interrupted them.
"Oops, sorry!" She heard him snigger this time, clearly amused by her body's impeccably shit timing. "What a way to ruin the mood…"
"Nah, you could never do that." He murmured close to her mouth, looking her dead in the eyes as he spoke so huskily. "I'm always in the mood to fuck you."
Nearly choking on her own spit, she hadn't expected him to be so crude. "Natsu…" She blushed, giving him exactly the reaction he wanted. "You're so dirty! It's a shame I'm too tired to teach you a lesson."
"Is that so?" He smirked, grazing his mouth along her jawline, planting open mouthed kisses all the way along it. "Maybe I need to try a little harder then…" The young man whispered into her ear as he sucked on her lobe, making the hairs on the back of her neck stand on end. "Call it, returning the favour."
Using his teeth to nip at her sensitive neck, he deployed his hand to graze languidly down towards her ample chest, lightly brushing over her nipple peeking through the fabric of her top on its journey towards her panties.
"A-And where does your hand think it's going?" She gasped, a vault of electricity shooting down to her groin as he tweaked the erect nipple once more.
"For a little wander…"
His hand delved under her chest and lightly brushed along her curves. Upon settling between her hips, it had one final hurdle to overcome—her panties. He pushed the heel of his palm down into her lower tummy to tuck his fingers inside and slide them deep below the lacy material.
Lucy's eyes flew wide open the moment his heel dug too deeply and unexpectedly shot upright, gasping loudly. Clutching hold of her belly with both hands she looked down at it in shock; a moan of discomfort passed her lips as she felt a wave of nausea hit her straight in the gut.
Her stomach had felt fine not a few moments ago, but now it was twisting and churning unpleasantly. With gritted teeth, she winced, clenching her hands tighter around the tender area in the hopes it might pass.
"What is it? What's wrong?" Natsu asked surprised, sitting up with her to have a closer look. He noticed instantly that her expression was pained and distorted. Her fingers gripped at the hem of her top and seemed to tighten every time her face winced. Was she in pain? Did he hurt her somehow? He didn't remember doing anything to cause such discomfort. "Did I hurt you, Luce?"
"I-It's not yo-" The poor girl covered her mouth with a slight groan, feeling something other than words about to spew out of it.
Natsu placed his hand on her shoulder, feeling her skin begin to warm and moisten under his touch. Honestly, he wasn't all that sure what was wrong or what he could do to help, except to try and offer some sort of comfort. About to ask what he could do for her, the blonde groaned much louder this time and hurried off of the bed, using her legs to push off of it like a slingshot and catapulted out of the door.
"Lucy?!" Natsu exclaimed more urgently, moving quickly to follow after her.
Before he could even reach the bathroom door, the offensive sound of his partner throwing chunks showered his ears. In all the years he'd known Lucy, she'd rarely got sick and he'd very rarely seen her vomit, so this was a new one for him. Unease and, dare he say it, curiosity filled him as he made his way to the bathroom, not fully prepared for the sight that greeted him. The poor blonde was kneeling on the floor, her hunched form hugging the toilet bowl with vomit coating the bottom of it.
Taking the initiative, he knelt down behind her and gathered her hair away from the danger zone. Applying a light pressure, he placed a warm hand on her back and rubbed it in small circles, just like she did for him when he had motion sickness. She continued to puke until there was nothing more to bring up, retching and heaving instead until her ribs and stomach began to ache.
"Ugh! This is so gross… I'm sure this isn't what you meant by repay the favour." Lucy chuckled lightly whilst panting, earning a small half smile from the fire mage.
No, it most definitely wasn't… He'd seen their night going very differently. Not a few minutes ago he had been complete horn dog, now that couldn't be further from the truth.
She leaned herself against Natsu's upper body and placed the back of her sweaty head on his shoulder. Inhaling rapid, shallow breaths through her dry mouth, she closed her strained, watery eyes, knowing the nausea wasn't quite through with her yet.
"Did you eat something funny or what? You don't just throw up like that for no reason." The disconcerted man asked, dragging the clumped, blonde bangs away from her clammy forehead. He was trying to work out just what the heck could be wrong with his sickly girlfriend and what, if anything, they could do to cure it. "Are you in pain, Luce?"
"A-A little… My head is pounding, but it's my stomach that hurts the most. I don't think I've eaten-" The thought of food in that moment twisted her stomach in knots, enough to land her head back in the bowl.
"It's alright, Luce, I gotcha." He quickly gathered her hair again and began running his fingers through the ends, trying to bring her some comfort at least.
She could only describe her stomach pains as something similar to period cramping, but instead of bleeding, it was accompanied by the need to force more and more bile out of her system. With barely enough time to catch her breath in between heaves, her chest had grown tight and heavy causing even more discomfort than before.
The stellar mage didn't know how long she'd spent vomiting in the end; after what'd felt like hours, the nausea finally subsided. A sense of euphoria came over her when she could finally breathe again and Natsu, ever so gently, pulled her back into his chest.
"My chest is so sore!" Hands clasped between her breasts, gulping down as she fought to fill her lungs with needed air.
"I know, you've been at it for a while, Lucy. Do you think you're okay to come back to bed? Some sleep will do you good." She nodded and went to stand. Natsu jumped to his feet first and reached a hand out to carefully bring her up onto unsteady legs. "Take it easy there Luce, you don't wanna make yourself hurl again."
Smiling appreciatively, Lucy grabbed a wash cloth from beside the sink and soaked it with cold water to cool her skin, washing the sweat off in the process. She brushed her teeth and rinsed her mouth out to get rid of the nasty taste that lingered there. Once she felt a little fresher, she straightened herself out and took one last glance in the mirror.
"Do I look different to you?" She asked curiously, staring down at her exposed abdomen, not sure if it was just her eyes playing tricks on her.
"Obviously…" Natsu answered, watching Lucy whip her head around to glare at him, giving him scary Erza vibes. "You're all sicky; you're not gonna look normal after all that!" Then she relaxed again, thankful for Natsu's obliviousness to such matters. "Do you need me to get you anything? Water? A bucket?" He sniggered at the last suggestion, earning a playful smack to the arm by an amused but overly exerted blonde.
"Water would be great, thanks." He was gone in a flash.
With an exaggerated yawn and stretch, her jelly-like legs traipsed back to their bedroom. Perching herself on the edge of the bed, Lucy leaned her head down at her sensitive stomach and stared at it curiously, grazing her hands ever so gently over it to test how far she could push without feeling sick again.
She didn't understand what was wrong with her; why was she so sick? Could it have been something that she'd eaten? Or maybe she'd caught a stomach bug? Whatever it was, it seemed to come in bouts and was made worse when she felt tired or drained, like when she'd used her magic. She'd never felt so sick in her life, the odd cold here and there but that was about it.
In general, Lucy felt that she was pretty healthy, she ate well, looked after her body, stayed well hydrated, so to be struck with an unknown sickness like this had knocked her for six, that was for sure.
"Here ya go, Luce." Natsu said, walking into the room. He passed her the water and watched her swig it down in one. "You must've been thirsty! Are you feeling alright now?"
"I don't really know. It's my stomach; it feels… weird, I guess?" Lucy steadily reached over to place the empty glass down on the bedside, careful not to make any sudden movements that might land her back in the bathroom.
"Hmm… You mean like you can't touch it?" Natsu asked, not really understanding what 'weird' meant in this context but took the initiative to go off what he felt like after vomiting.
"Yeah, kinda. Every time I do, I feel sick again. It's super sensitive right now." She sighed dejectedly and let her head fall lazily onto the pillow, bringing her legs up to get comfortable while Natsu got in beside her. "I hope this feeling goes away soon. Maybe I'll feel better in the morning after some sleep?"
"Maybe. But if you don't, I'll look after ya, so you ain't gotta worry." He said, planting a small peck on her cheek and then turning her face with his fingers to place a longer, more loving kiss on her lips. "G'night, Luce."
"Thanks, Natsu, good night." She felt the warmth from his body envelope hers, comforting her sore muscles as his hand laid carefully on her hip and stroked the exposed skin there, relaxing under his touch.
The young slayer waited for her to fall asleep before relaxing completely, exhaling a large sigh as he took in the events of the previous day. He really did hope that Lucy wasn't coming down with some nasty bug, that's all she needed after dealing with Haru being so poorly. If Natsu was being completely honest with himself, he wasn't sure what to think. From what he'd seen so far, he was sceptical to say the least; was this some unknown ailment? Or something else entirely? He didn't know.
Sure she felt nauseous; was vomiting; complained of headaches and fatigue; which were all indications of illness—he knew that. However, something just felt different about her symptoms compared to other times he'd seen her under the weather, the boy just couldn't figure out what.
Lucy had told him she'd spent the better part of the past week awake all day and night feeling stressed about Haru, which would tire anyone out. He deduced that that might explain her fatigue and headaches, but the nausea and vomiting—that he couldn't explain. Not to mention her sensitive stomach and the cramping. Nor could he decipher why she'd struggled so much when using her magic; a bug wouldn't usually interfere with that.
He was no expert on these sorts of matters, hell, it was rare the hot head ever found himself unwell in the first place, so really, what would he know?
But there was an inkling. A hunch you might say or conception, ironically. In the deep recesses of his boggled, clueless mind, he knew he'd come across this sort of thing before. Not all that often but around town, on jobs, even in the guild hall he'd heard mutterings between fellow members and guild mates alike, he'd just never taken the time to care before now.
Now he kinda wished he had…
With his lack of knowledge, Natsu had no idea what his suspicions meant and whether he was actually on to something or just barking up the wrong tree. His brain, unable to make any sense of it, was beginning to hurt from all of the over thinking he was doing and decided to dismiss the idea completely.
Nestling his head into the back of Lucy's hair, he inhaled deeply, her floral scent invading his nostrils and allowed the tiredness to overcome him. Closing his eyes, the slight pang of disappointment didn't go completely unnoticed before he drifted off to sleep.
"Are you sure you're gonna be okay while I'm gone?" Natsu asked outside the bathroom door, not overly pleased that Lucy had locked him out. Hearing more vomit hit the pan, he cringed and wondered how much longer she was going to be. "Because I don't wanna leave you like this…" He heard the flush go and the water run, then finally the lock on the door clicked and it swung open, revealing a ghostly pale and zombie(ish) looking Lucy, "Luce, you're looking awful!"
"Thanks, Natsu, always the charmer…" She croaked out, throat sore from throwing up her breakfast. She'd been in and out of the bathroom all morning, puking her guts up, looking more and more, as Happy put it, like death warmed up. "I was kinda hoping I'd feel better today, but I just feel like shit…"
"Maybe you just need some more rest? I could always ask Wendy over?" He suggested, forgetting the young girl had left for a mission that morning. "Oh, actually forget that, what about Porlyusica instead?"
"No, please not her! I think she saw enough of us yesterday and I really don't feel like being shouted at today, my head can't take it." That woman could be frightening at the best of times, it was better to avoid her unless absolutely necessary.
"But Luce, you've been in the bathroom all morning, you gotta see someone about it!" Natsu tried to make her see reason, he didn't want to see her sick any more than she wanted to be sick, but Lucy was stubborn.
"I'll wait for Wendy to heal me; I'm sure I can manage until she comes home."
If Lucy was going to have anyone help, she wanted it from Wendy. The sweet, young dragon slayer was always eager to assist anyone and far from being intimidating or dismissive, unlike the old dragon woman. No matter how well versed Porlyusica was in magical ailments and medicines, particularly potions, she had a hot temper and a dislike for humans, so it was best to take her in small doses.
"You never know, I might feel better by then." Lucy smiled at the fire mage in a weak attempt at easing his worry.
"If you say so, Luce." Realising he wasn't getting anywhere, Natsu sighed. He'd have to figure out another way to help her instead.
Once back in the living room, Lucy slumped onto the couch and smiled at the little one playing on the floor with Happy. The sight of Haru finally acting like his usual self again was enough to brighten her up a bit. He'd been perfect all morning—happy, playful and cheeky, just the way she liked him.
"Hey, Lucy, this'll cheer you up!" Happy gestured to the baby, catching both Lucy and Natsu's attention. "Right Haru, just like we practised, say, Mama!"
Haru looked over to Natsu, who was smiling encouragingly at him, and then to Lucy, who was waiting patiently. It was the one word, he'd been reluctant to say since he'd started trying to speak, but Lucy could hope.
"Mama. Go on, you said it earlier." The cat encouraged.
"He did?" Lucy asked, surprised to learn that she'd missed it.
"He sure did!"
The baby looked apprehensive, sucking on his fingers, it seemed he needed a little extra push now that there was an audience. Happy flew over to Lucy and pointed at her, repeating the word again.
With a smile forming on his face, Haru crawled over to Lucy's feet and yelled at the top of his voice, "Mama!" whilst attempting to clamber up onto her lap.
"Yay! You clever boy, you finally said Mama!" Lucy beamed, picking the little one up and supporting him to stand on her lap.
"Good job, little guy!" Natsu grinned, coming to lean over the couch where Lucy was sitting and pretended to high five the baby. "Next we gotta get you saying Happy."
"Yeah, then fish, then fishing, then yummy fish-"
"Naturally…" Lucy hummed sarcastically, rolling her eyes at the cat.
"Anyway, I think we better head off. What do ya say fella?" Natsu said, picking the small boy up from his mother and placing him on his hip. "I think this little guy can come with me to the guild. It'll give you time to rest and me some time to catch up with him."
"Oh, er… okay." She smiled, liking the sound of having a few hours to herself. "That'd be nice."
The young man smiled down at the pale girl and kissed her cheek, gesturing for Happy to follow him as he walked over and opened the front door. "Catch ya later, Luce!" And off he went, locking the door behind him, leaving the blonde in peace.
"Is Lucy gonna be okay on her own?" Happy asked, flying along beside the dragon slayer. "She's really not looking too good."
"She'll be fine, she just needs some rest, that's all. If she needs me, I'm sure Loke will sense it and come looking for me. Lucy's a tough one; she don't need us pandering to her and getting in the way." He dismissed it knowing fully that Lucy's 'sickness' didn't seem to be as simple as that, but alas, this was the best he could do for now.
The journey to the guild was a pleasant one as they strolled leisurely through the busy streets of Magnolia. Entering the bustling main hall, Natsu quickly slipped passed the unknowing mages drinking away at the bar, not wanting to be cornered by one of them, and made his way to the back room where Master Makarov was waiting for him. The old man had asked to see him about something and the fire mage hoped it wasn't about the destruction Haru had left yesterday. Without knocking, the boy with the baby and flying cat walked in, announcing his presence with a bright smile.
"Natsu, there you are! I didn't think you were gonna show." The short man perched himself on the table and gestured for Natsu to sit amongst the piles of papers that made up the man's office. "How's the little one today? I heard he's had a rough time of it recently?"
"Yeah, but he seems back to normal now. Don't ya, bud?" Natsu grinned at Haru, who'd been eyeing the old man's beard since they'd entered the room. The little boy grinned back and began repeating sounds like 'da' and 'ba' as if he were joining in on the conversation.
"Good, I heard about what happened. Magnolia's Mayor has been here all morning giving me an earful about some woodland that had been… decimated, I think he said. You wouldn't know anything about that now, would you, Natsu?" The old man stared at the young man, his brow and lip raised simultaneously whilst waiting for an answer.
"Well, Natsu?" Happy teased, revelling in the slayers fluster, finding it rather funny and in turn making Haru chuckle too.
"Er… I-I don't know what you're talking about… M-Must've been some one else?" Natsu's voice raised in octaves and he began to sweat profusely, not sure what hell awaited him for what his son had done. Was this now going to become a regular occurrence?
"That's what I thought." The Master said, smiling knowingly, a chuckle passing his lips at the state the fire mage was getting himself into and decided that was punishment enough for now. "However, I did mention that should it have been a Fairy Tail mage responsible, I would personally see to it so that it doesn't happen again."
"R-Right… Sure, Gramps." Natsu stuttered, thankful he wasn't going to suffer the consequences because little Haru had destroyed the woodland. It suddenly dawned on the poor dragon slayer that this was, in fact, almost definitely going to become a regular occurrence, he could just feel it in his bones.
The baby, not knowing the trouble he'd caused, had been too focused on the Masters facial hair and was reaching his chubby little hands out to touch it, but with no one paying him any attention, he did the only thing he knew would work—whine. It was a quiet little noise but enough to catch his father's ears.
"What's the matter, little buddy? Whatcha tryin' to reach for?" Natsu asked, following the baby's line of sight, landing on the old man's face. Furrowing his brows, the slayer looked back at the small boy, "You want Gramps' hat? Alright, kiddo."
The fire mage plucked the hat off of the old man's head, much to Makarov's annoyance, and gave it to the ten month old. Although not what he'd originally wanted, Haru settled for the strange item in his hands, sticking the material straight in his mouth and began to suck it, effectively stopping his whimpers.
"You know I expect that returned, without infant dribble on it?" Makarov stared at the clueless dragon slayer and sighed; who was he kidding? He was never going to see that hat again now that Haru had claimed it. "Oh, and before you head off, Natsu, there was another reason for calling you in here. A job has come through asking for you personally again. You're quite popular it seems." The Master gave him the request paper, watching the fire mages eyes light up with excitement.
"Awesome! This one better be cooler than the last one!" Natsu read through it quickly. It appeared to be the typical 'unknown monster raiding my garden, need help!' sort of request, a stupidly easy one by the looks of it. Reaching the bottom of the paper he saw in big bold writing: the reward. A figure so great, his eyes nearly flew out of his skull.
"Whoa! They're offering that much?" Happy exclaimed, not even knowing what to call a number with that many zero's at the end of it.
"Yes, they are willing to pay that much at the request that it is you, Natsu, that attends. Obviously you don't have to go alone, you can take whoever you want with you."
"Wait 'til I show Lucy the reward, she's gonna be so pumped! That money would last us forever!" He exclaimed, beaming with excitement, wanting to run home and show it to her right away.
Then like a ton of bricks hitting him all at once, he remembered.
Lucy…
As if reading his mind, Happy was the first to speak, "But, Lucy, she's not-" He whispered.
"Yeah, I know, Happy." He looked up from the paper and without any hesitation went to hand it back to the Master, a serious face replacing his excited one. "Sorry, Gramps, but I can't do it this time."
"That's not like you, my boy, is something up?" The bearded man asked, concerned for the fire mage. "What's this about Lucy? You can take her if you want, it's up to you."
"No, I don't think I can, Gramps. She's really sick at the moment and I don't know why." Natsu said sombrely, mindlessly stroking the infants back as his eyes faced the floor.
More time away from her and Haru was definitely not something he would consider; who knows how long this job would take? Taking her with him could've been an option if she'd felt up to it, but with her magic being all weird, he wasn't willing to take the risk.
"Yeah, she's been spewing her guts all morning and yesterday she could barely summon any magic without it tiring her out. What kind of illness does that?" Happy blurted out without thinking.
"Is that right? Have you spoken to Porlyusica about it yet?" Makarov asked.
"No… Lucy told me not to…" Natsu sighed, not knowing who else to turn to. "She said she'd wait until Wendy returned, but who knows when that'll be?"
"It'll be about a week before that happens. There are other doctors she could see in the town, but if it's affecting her magic then I doubt they'll be of much use. The only other option is you go to Porlyusica and ask her yourself, Lucy doesn't have to know you've been." Makarov could see it was getting the fire mage down; he'd always been fiercely protective of his friends and particularly Lucy. He absolutely loathed it when he couldn't make her feel better. "I'm sure it'll work itself out, my boy, Lucy's strong enough to get through it, whatever it is."
"Yeah, Natsu! Lucy's beaten worse than some sickness bug before, she'll be fine!" Happy chirped in, his eager expression popping up in front of Natsu's.
"Your right, come on then Happy, let's go. See ya, Gramps." Natsu feigned a smile for the old man and left the room, his lips dropping into a frown the moment the door slammed shut.
It wasn't that he didn't believe them, he knew Lucy could cope, that wasn't the problem. His issue with it all was that it didn't seem to be acting like any ordinary ailment. It affected things that it shouldn't and that made him feel even more incompetent than he already did, but worse than all of that, he felt helpless.
The dragon slayer was desperate to get some answers to what was wrong with his pretty blonde and there was only one way he knew he could do that. If he went to the old woman healer to ask for advise, that would go directly against Lucy's wishes; but on the other hand, could he really sit around and watch her suffer the way she had been?
If she would just let him ask for her like Gramps had suggested, she'd be better in no time. They'd even be able to go on that job together, he knew how Lucy was with money and that was one hell of a reward he'd just passed up.
All this crap was doing his head in, he needed some fresh air, some time alone to think things through before he made any rash decisions. Happy had wanted to stay behind at the guild. Glad the cat could see he needed space, Natsu headed out of the door, ignoring his guild mates shout out to him, they were but a buzzing sound amidst the chaos in his brain. Not up to explaining it all to them, he continued forward, legs guiding him towards the park.
It'd been hours, well, it'd felt like hours since he'd been sat there, in the same spot, entertaining the little one who was playing in the grass. Haru had a way of making everything bright in the dullest of moments. His little face was so cute and his smile so happy, it was hard not to mirror. Seeing the world through the infants eyes was both refreshing and simple, with everything so new and exciting, Natsu found himself getting excited for him. But that usual happy, contented feeling had been duly quashed by everything else on his mind and it was starting to irritate him.
"Whatcha got there? A stick? If that's really what ya wanna play with then go for it, buddy." Natsu chuckled, watching Haru try to pick up a stick twice the size of him was a sight to behold, settling for munching on it instead, spurring Natsu into 'daddy mode'. "I wouldn't go eating that if I were you! That's gotta taste nasty and Mama's not gonna like it if she finds you with splinters in your mouth. Let's chuck it away and find something else to play with, how does that sound?" Natsu took the stick out of the baby's mouth and coaxed it out of his hold. Launching it in a random direction, he'd failed to notice the horror-stricken expression on Haru's face.
It began with a whimper, with his bottom lip jutted out and quivering, a full on wail came next, piercing the poor slayers ears, shocking him and making him wince. "Hey, no, don't cry! Daddy didn't mean to throw your stick away, er…" Struggling to find something to replace it, Natsu whipped his head in every direction, finally settling on giving his scarf.. "Here ya go, that's much better. You can suck on that as much as you want."
"Huh… So you do know how to parent, who'd have thought?" A low male voice mocked from above. Glancing up, Natsu saw none other than the ice-make mage himself standing there, half naked as always, smirking down at him.
"Well, duh! That's because I am one!" Natsu rolled his eyes like Gray was the stupid one.
Huffing at his friends idiocy, Gray ignored him and sat down, greeting little Haru with a smile and a wave. "You're looking much better now little guy, everyone was worried about you yesterday!" Ruffling the baby's thick hair, the young man chuckled, in turn, receiving incoherent babbles back. "Although you on the other hand…" He turned to Natsu, "What're you doing out here by yourself? It ain't like you to want peace and quiet."
"What's that supposed to mean? I like it every now and then; there's nothing weird about that." Natsu had avoided eye contact with the raven haired mage since he'd sat down. He knew he was acting odd, but he just couldn't help it.
"When it comes to you, Flame brain, it's very weird. And you didn't answer my question." Gray knew something was up, regardless of how often they fought, they were very in tune with one another, some would say in a brotherly capacity. "If you're not gonna tell me, I could always guess? And from where I'm standing, it looks like something to do with Lucy, am I right?"
Natsu tsked, pretending not to be impressed by the half-naked man's insightfulness. Gray waited patiently for an answer, a smirk ever present on his face. But he received nothing from the suspiciously quiet Natsu, which, in itself, was his answer. "Right, so it's about Lucy, that's obvious. Did she finally kick you out?"
"What? No, why would she do that?" Confused, the pink haired man turned to his rival and knitted his brows together.
"Alright, well, I thought maybe she'd come to her senses, ya know." Gray cocked his brow up teasingly as he took great enjoyment in seeing the annoyance rise within the fiery tempered slayer. "Well, if it isn't that, then… huh… I got nothing… Just tell me why you're here, Natsu?"
"Well, why're you here, Snowflake? You don't have to be; you could always go bother someone else." Natsu bit back, not wanting this sort of interrogation and especially not from Gray Fullbuster, of all people.
"I could, but they're not as fun to annoy and I have my own reasons for wanting to see you."
The ice mage leaned forward to grab Haru and hold him in his lap, doing that funny baby talk thing and laughing when the infant responded. Natsu watched their small exchange, confused that Gray actually wanted to see him about something other than brawling. Intrigued, he waited for the topless man to start speaking.
"I actually came here to, er… well, apologise for something." He stuttered, placing his hand on the back of his head, whilst looking slightly embarrassed.
Natsu remained quiet, speechless in fact, not sure whether the guy was being serious or if this was some elaborate prank. Gray had never apologised to him before, so this was definitely a peculiar experience for the both of them, one to be cautious of.
"You don't gotta look at me like I've got two heads or somethin', I can be mature to admit when I'm wrong… sometimes." Gray added, not entirely keen on the shocked gawk he was receiving from the fire mage. "It's about yesterday actually. The way I reacted about helping Haru and our fight because of it; he's your son after all and it wasn't my place to say those things. I can't imagine how I made Lucy feel, she was struggling enough already without me making it worse. It was wrong of me to do that, so I'm sorry."
If he was being honest, Natsu had forgotten all about that, putting it to the back of his mind like he did with all of his bickering with Gray, it was the least of his worries at the moment. But the ice mage did have a point, their disagreement had gone beyond the boundaries of their usual rivalry banter, having brought not only Haru into it, but Lucy as well.
"I didn't mean to explode like that, I've kinda had a lot going on and I took it out on you guys." Gray added, his earlier smirk gone and mood now dampened.
Natsu could see the man was troubled; something was bothering his friend deep down under that hard exterior, but was reluctant to say what. He'd been eyeing him carefully; he knew him apologising smelt off and now he just needed to know why?
"Yeah, so quit broodin' and spit it out." Natsu said, not wanting to give away too much that he was concerned for his frenemy, but also completely clueless as to what he might tell him.
Sighing dejectedly, Gray answered, "Natsu, what's it like?" He couldn't bring himself to look at the fire mage, his eyes trained on the infant in his lap.
"What is what like?"
"You know, this." He gestured to the infant playing with his father's scarf, still comfortably sat in the ice mages lap.
"You mean having a kid?" Natsu asked, garnering the attention of said child when he spoke. "It's the best thing ever!" The young father exclaimed with his usual, vibrant enthusiasm, lightening the mood without even meaning too. "Why'd you wanna know?"
At first Gray stayed quiet, not knowing how to answer that question without it all becoming too real for him. He was worried for sure, scared of the unknown, not knowing if he was prepared enough for such a life changing experience, yet now, he really had no choice and it didn't take long for Natsu to cotton on to what was going on.
"Oh! I get it! You're just worried that your kid ain't gonna be as great as mine." Natsu smirked at Gray's dumbstruck expression, chuckling as he turned his attention to Haru briefly, "Did ya hear that kiddo? You're gonna have a new buddy to play with!" Sniggering, Haru gave one of his 'Natsu' grins and decided to crawl his way over and sit in his fathers lap instead.
"Whoa! Hold on a second! I never said that; who said I was having one? Maybe I was just asking out of curiosity?" Gray began fidgeting, his eyes shifting between Natsu's knowing eyes and his smug grin.
"Uh-huh… And if I were to go to Juvia right now…"
"No! Okay, you're right!" Gray panicked, waving his hands to stop Natsu from getting up. "Please don't do that, she didn't want anyone knowing until she felt well enough to return to the guild. She wanted to be there to tell everyone herself. Which is fine but what a pain it's been having to pretend she'd caught some weird bug on her last mission and that's the reason she hasn't shown her face recently."
"Why is she sick?" Natsu asked, curious to find out more. He didn't know a whole lot about what women went through when having a baby, he'd never experienced that with Lucy—they'd skipped that part. "The baby makes her sick?"
"Well, yeah, and a bunch of other stuff. It's like living with a bag of hormones at the moment. One minute she's normal, then she puking her guts out, then she's crying for whatever unknown reason. Honestly, man, I don't know where my head is at right now, I just can't keep up!" Gray sure did look frazzled, now that he had openly said it out loud, his own mood swings and weird behaviour made a bit more sense.
"Hasn't Juvia always been like that? Apart from the blowing chunks bit."
"I guess so, but now she's even crazier."
"Aren't you happy about it though? 'Cause I'm sure Juvia is." The slayer asked, curiously.
"Yeah, sure I am, but I'm terrified too. It's just weird ya know? And with her magic acting up lately, she hasn't been able to go on any jobs with me." Gray shrugged, not seeming too bothered by it.
"Wait, what did you say?" Natsu's mind had gone into overdrive the moment those words left the demon slayers mouth. "The baby… It affects her magic too?!"
"Yeah, it drains her, makes her sick and tired. Although, Porlyusica said that's a symptom that eventually wears off." Gray said, eyeing the dragon slayer as his eyes became like two saucers, a gaping mouth to match. "What? Did I say something?" Not having a clue what was going on, the ice mage stared at his friend, not knowing what he'd said wrong.
"N-No, it's, uh, L-Lucy, she's… I gotta go!" The pink haired boy hopped to his feet and as quick as lightning he was in the distance, yelling his thanks behind him.
"Wait, Natsu! You never told me… what was wrong with Lucy?" Already out of sight by the time Gray had finished speaking, he sighed and shook his head. "That idiot…" He muttered under his breath, ignoring the horrified stares of the people around him as he took himself out of the park, never looking down to see that he'd lost his trousers now too.

Hi 👉👈 can I request timeskip!Natsu x Sakusa!reader?
Like Natsu and y/n met when they were playing against each other on a match and became friends to lovers after
So when they were already dating they decided to come out to their brothers but y/n is scared to dissapoint Sakusa because she thinks he isn't proud of her? Perhaps Sakusa hears that and when they come out him and Hinata conforts them?
Fluff please :(💕
— Pride
๑ Requested by a lovely Anon!
๑ Quick Note: First off, thank you so much for requesting, both the request and character choice are so adorable and I'm so thrilled to be able to write this for you! Second, regards to the subject matter, though it's nothing scary, just a bit of a reminder! I just want to remind you all that this is a safe space for everyone (LGBTQ+, people of color, whatever your religion is, the only thing I won't accept is if you're against anyone in those categories,). I myself am a biromantic asexual and know how freaking scary it can be to come out and worrying about having to explain yourself and possibly not being accepted by those closest to you. Just remember that you are incredible, strong and perfect just the way you are and if you ever need someone, I am always here to help. ♡
๑ Characters: Natsu Hinata
๑ Warnings: Miniscule levels of angst, coming out. (There is a happy ending, though!)
๑ Word Count: 2,019
The first time you met Hinata Natsu was during a practice match against the Niiyama Girls’ High team. The two of you had recognized each other almost instantly and knew the odds of having a tight game, but neither of you would have had it any other way. In those early moments of the first set, there was some kind of noticeable chemistry between the two of you, though it was much more than people who were going to be rivals in a game.
You and Natsu had become the fastest of friends despite any distance or scheduling differences. Right after the game, the two of you shook hands and exchanged numbers, excitedly awaiting the next opportunity to play against each other. Three practice games, two tournaments, and endless texts and phone calls later, she asked if you'd be her girlfriend at the end of a game. Of course, Natsu was met with a tight hug and a resounding yes.
You and Natsu had kept a decent pace, both of you learning more and more about each other, growing to love each other more and more on a daily basis. For months, it was just the two of you, no one else knowing about your relationship, not that anyone could with the distance between you both.
The upcoming date the two of you had planned, however, was going to change that a little. MSBY was going to be playing in Tokyo the upcoming weekend when the two of you had originally planned a date, so you suggested that the two of you go to your brothers’ game as your date. Not only would it be fun, but you could introduce each other to your brothers, and possibly, if you were comfortable, come out to them in the near future.
Natsu knew that her meeting Sakusa and you meeting Hinata meant hopefully coming out to them and she was beyond ready. You, on the other hand, were nervous. You loved Kiyoomi, and even though you knew you’d be okay, disappointing him in any way was your biggest fear. Though you loved your parents, no one was more important to you than Kiyoomi. However, even though you loved your brother dearly, Natsu was who you saw yourself spending eternity with, and you planned on keeping it that way.
That weekend during the game, you and Natsu had held pinkies through the entire game, even when making your way down the stands and through the heavy crowds until you both saw Shouyo and Kiyoomi. The reason behind it wasn’t shame or embarrassment, but so you could part ways for a moment and congratulate your favorite people.
While Natsu went to hug her brother, you excitedly walked up to him, respecting his boundaries rather reluctantly, however, they hadn’t been able to go change due to the massive crowds and the press, so you supposed it was probably for the best. You had been in a gym full of strangers who could have been sick and coughing, and he was still sweaty from the game. Holding off on this hug was definitely for the benefit of both of you.
“Omi!” You called out to your brother, hearing a somewhat distant whine from Atsumu about how you can call your brother that and he can’t. In your defense, his name was slightly difficult for you when you were learning to speak.
Though it was barely noticeable to anyone else, you saw Kiyoomi’s small smile at seeing you clear as day. Your brother may have been stoic, but you could read his facial expressions like a book. What was going on in his head, however, was a different story entirely. “Hello, (Y/N).”
Taking a deep breath, you smiled back. “Way to go on the win! I’m so proud of you, you guys did so well!”
Scattered ‘thank you’s sounded around the two of you as Kiyoomi thanked you himself, only for Natsu to show up with Hinata and spike your anxiety right back up. Nothing too high, but possibly something that Kiyoomi could pick up, and that’s primarily what you were worried about
“Omi!” Hinata excitedly greeted his teammate, looking between the two of you and his little sister.
Getting a slight nudge in the foot from Kiyoomi and an encouraging look from your girlfriend, you took a deep breath and introduced yourself with a friendly smile, and a small bow purely out of respect for the boy your one and only seemed to idolize. “Hi, I’m Natsu’s friend (Y/N).”
“Nice to meet you, (Y/N)! Natsu’s told me a lot about you! I feel like I’ve heard your name somewhere else too,” Hinata trailed off at the last bit in thought, though you didn’t register it. You were stuck on the fact that Natsu would talk to her brother about you. Granted, you would talk to Kiyoomi about Natsu as often as you could, hell, he’s heard about her since the day you met, but it was still shocking. Seeing the flush across her cheeks and the tips of her ears made it worth it, though.
“She’s also my sister, Hinata.” Kiyoomi sighed slightly, though he couldn’t find it in himself to be too surprised. Just like he was back in high school, Hinata Shouyo was still a total scatterbrain at times.
“Oh! Right!” You couldn’t help but laugh, feeling a bit more comfortable in his presence, but still very aware that you’d have to see him tomorrow to be Natsu’s tether and be introduced as her girlfriend, rather than her best friend.
Following your girlfriend’s lead, you introduce the two and they make their introductions. Lucky for you, Kiyoomi didn’t say anything too embarrassing like Hinata had done.
After a few minutes, you and Natsu had left the boys to go do what they needed to and decided to spend the afternoon together before you drug her back to your place. The two of you got coffee, went to various stores, snuck sweet kisses and pictures, and made a small game plan for tomorrow.
“Are you scared?” Natsu asked as the two of you were cuddled up in your room together. “A little. Hopefully, he noticed how close we are and will beat me to it, ha ha. What about you?”
“Yeah, but I know it’ll be okay. It’ll be like ripping off a band aid.” Natsu’s bright yet sleepy smile coaxed a smile out of you as well. It gave you all of the courage you needed as you pulled her into you, waiting for the next day to appear.
Breakfast the next morning passed smoothly, everyone on the MSBY team was given a day off to rest, so you promised that you’d see Kiyoomi whenever the two of you returned from hanging out and seeing Hinata. Kiyoomi was confused as to why you needed to go with her but brushed it off, if it were important, you’d tell him. You’d always been on the independent side, much like the man himself, so he supposed he wasn’t too shocked.
The two of you met Hinata at the coffee shop that you and Natsu normally go to for dates when she’s in town. You figured that maybe a familiar and comforting place might help calm her nerves and so far, it seemed to be working.
“So, uh, Sho, I kind of have something to tell you.” Natsu slowly trailed off, reciprocating the firm and comforting squeeze you gave her hand underneath the table as she brought your intertwined hands to rest on top of the table as Hinata looked curious at what his little sister had to say.
“Yeah?”
“Ha, so, (Y/N) isn’t actually my friend. I mean, she is! It’s just a bit more complicated.” You both had to hold in a slight laugh at the small head tilt. It was as though the dots weren’t connecting, and part of you wasn’t entirely sure that they were. “As in, (Y/N)’s my girlfriend and I love her.”
With almost animatedly wide eyes and the quickly following dopey grin, his happiness was obvious. “That’s awesome! I’m glad you’re both happy together! How long has it been again?” You and Natsu happily answered all of Shouyo’s questions and small date and game stories that the two of you have made over time
.Unfortunately, a question came that you weren’t quite expecting. “(Y/N), have you told Omi yet?” You could feel your smile drop a little. “Uh, no. We were going to after we told you. Speaking of, babe, we should probably leave in an hour or so.” Natsu nodded in acknowledgment.
“You’ll be fine, you know,” Hinata reassures you. “He cares about you a lot, it’s almost like there’s a weird change after he talks with you. I mean, I only know that from the occasional time you call pretty much right before practice, but sometimes Atsumu asks about you too.” He chuckles slightly before continuing. “I’m pretty sure you could kill someone and he’d still love you, kid. You’ll be fine.” You quietly thanked the human ball of sunshine and the three of you continued to talk until you had to part ways once again.
And now, after hours of agonizing anticipation, the time for you to come out to your brother was here. Kiyoomi was home, your parents were out (not that that really mattered), and you had your ultimate emotional support at your side, hand tangled with yours, her thumb gently running over your knuckles and tracing shapes into the back of your hand.
Opening your front door, the two of you made your way inside and took off your shoes as you called out for your older brother as you and Natsu made yourselves comfortable on the couch, fingers once again laced together. You needed her now more than anything and you couldn’t explain just how happy it made you to have her here for this.
Kiyoomi made his way into the living room, raising an eyebrow at the shockingly serious, yet slightly nervous atmosphere. The amount of tension made him worry that something bad had happened to you, especially when he noticed just how tightly you were gripping Natsu’s hand.
“Are you two okay?”
The two of you wordlessly nodded at him, which only made his worry rise.
“Okay? In that case, why’d you call me out here?”
For what felt like the millionth time in the last 48 hours, you braced yourself and sucked in a deep breath. Just like Natsu said the night before; it’s just like ripping off a band-aid.
“I have something to tell you, and I’m scared, and it involves Natsu, and even though it’s ridiculous, I’m scared that once you hear what I have to say I’ll lose my brother, and I really don’t want that, because you’re my favorite person in the world.” The words spewed from your lips like word vomit and Kiyoomi was determined to not let you do that again.
With very little hesitation, Kiyoomi opened his arms and you almost immediately ran into them. You couldn’t help it. “What do you need to tell me?”
Tears pricked at your eyes, the fear of rejection nearly shutting your thoughts down. “Natsu’s my girlfriend. I love her a lot, and I’m not sorry if you hate me for it, but I also really hope that if that’s the case you understand that I can’t change that and I don’t want to change it.”
Deafening silence filled the living room, but Kiyoomi hugged you tighter, pulling away slightly to begrudgingly wipe tears away from your cheeks with his sleeve. “I could never hate you, (Y/N), and I’m sorry that I somehow made you think that that was the case. I love you so much, no matter what, and I’m so proud of you.” You were pulled against him once again as you tried to calm yourself down. “And Natsu.”
“Yeah?” Even though everything had gone well, she was still nervous.
“Thank you for looking after my sister for me when I can’t. Welcome to the family, kid.”

Hi! You know what truly breaks my heart about Touya's pain? Is that his attention could have been easily redirected by endeavour instead of pushing his son away. He could have said that training hurts Touya so from now on their thing will be fishing or playing catch or even building lego stuff, anything.
This really hurts me because it was such a stupid decision of endeavour and that only further proves that he did not care about Touya that much, he refused to understand him and didn't allow Rei to help.
I love Rei, but she is also to blame here, she could also have engaged Touya on an activity with her and encourage Touya to care and protect his siblings from dad dearest.
I know she was abused and taked away from her children when shouto was born, but from the moment she agreed having a child she ( and endeavour of course) have the duty to protect them and teach them.
That's why i love her actually. She knows she was wrong, she knows she could have done something else and now she is trying to actually solve this even with being " powerless". She can't fight Touya, but she can support her children and try reach out for him and make things straight. She is willing to do that even if she can't fight. She is willing to face her son and put an end to it.
Does it mean it will end well? No. Like anon said and you too, Touya will probably die but i think this tododrama will have a straight ending. Hopefully with the due punishment to endeavour, he should be in jail ( by irl laws) for abusing children and his wife. Rei has already had her bit of punishment, she should live with her children now and no endeavour.
Thank you for listening and i am sorry this is long! I didn't meant to offend anyone, is just my take on things.
This is my new bible, I swear.
I totally agree with you! I've seen real life cases, where kids have not the perfect skills to develop in some areas, I teach English to Spanish speakers, and sometimes you have kids with learning issues, lack of motivation, or they want to learn but they don't have a clue on how to do it, but they are motivated and what I do is to redirect that struggle to opportunities, positive opportunities so they can learn, to turn frustration into motivation. Yes, it is harder. Yes, you need to be more creative and put more effort to get to the same result in a different way, but guess what. It works, and kids feel so awesome that you can literally feel your heart warm. Because you supported them, you gave then guidance and different options to get to the same result as their classmates, to reach their goal. But if you just put them aside and tell them "you know what, you can't do this because you're not cut for this. Go do something else while I teach some other kids who are far better than you" that would break anyone. Especially someone like Touya whose entire purpose was to be a great hero. And yes, just as you said, Endeavor could have find something different to do with him to avoid Touya hurting himself, anything, but a dad-son time. Or like All Might and Deku. Deku hurt himself waaaaay too many times, but All Might was there to teach him, step by step. Endeavor could've done that, take time to train Touya to be a hero. It would have been slower, harder, but none of this would be happening. Just like teaching, you see? Finding different ways to get to the main goal.
And yes! I love Rei too because of the same reasons. There was not much for her to do under those circumstances, and at some point she was overwhelmed with everything and when that happens you just get blind and feel useless. I don't think there's much to do now, Dabi is blinded by his objective, and I hardly think that something makes him change his mind, but at least now Rei wants to do something. And as we saw on previous chapters, she went to the hospital while Endeavor was just hating himself and was like "Stop it. We fucked this, we gotta fix it. Now" she's a queen👑
I do think that Dabi will end up dying, and in a dramatic way to be honest. And it kind of reminds of the Shadowhunters saga, when *spoiler* Sebastian aka Jonathan dies in Clary's arms, saying he'd never felt so light before, meaning he was finally free from his sins and past. Something like that but with Rei, and maybe Natsu and Fuyumi. Maybe. Or he will just put up some dramatic fight and giving a fuck about everything and everyone he will... Kill himself. I don't know, there are too many possibilities😂
And don't apologize! I love when you guys tell your opinions and thoughts about anything. I'm sorry because I think I went too long tho 😂😂. And yes, I don't mean to offend anyone either, I agree with this opinion and that's it. It's not forcing anyone to think like this or idk, is just how I see things and how I agreed with this opinion😅

some feelings abt touya and bnha 302 in general! (long post)
jesus this whooooole chapter makes me so so so sad for touya, like he's canonically a crier and i just have all these images now of him crying off to the side while enji looks at his other kids and gives them the time of day. knowing that he was/is a frustrated crier makes the fact that dabi cant cry cuz of his burned tear ducts that much sadder ohhman
one of the things i cant get over is how touya was SO shunned by his dad that when he went to go tell enji about his fire turning from red to blue, he says "i might be as awesome as shouto sooner or later!" like?? this boy is 13 and shouto is 5 yet he's talking like the brother that's eight years younger than him is better than him and thar it's just a fact. the sky is blue, enji wants to beat all might one day, and shouto is better than the rest of his siblings. nevermind that he's only five and just wants to play with his siblings (and dont even mention to me how shouto says he wants to play with "touya and them" cuz im gonna fucking cry abt it. like even though touya's accepted he's bottom of the ladder in this family, shouto clearly wants some sort of acknowledgement from his older siblings and especially his older brother. IM FVCKN SOBBN). enji has made it clear in this family that shouto was what he was looking for and everyone else is not as important, and i knew this from shouto's pov but it's kinda wild to see it implied so casually in touya's words.
"you'll be glad you created me! i just know it!" HOLY SHIT. god my heart. oh my fuck. literally all enji had to do was show up to the fucking mountain, and he couldnt even do that? what the hell?? your son asks you to go to the mountain, you tell your wife not to let him go traim but she said she couldnt stop him, and instead of going yourself to make sure he's okay and BECAUSE HE ASKED YOU TO COME (and with an actually valid reason, no less! fire changing colour is kind of a big fucking deal!!!) you just?? let him go and let him stay there??? my god the amount of times touya must have burned himself and the trees with tears in his eyes. ahhhHHH!!!
what kills me (and touya too soon?) was that we thought before the back story started that enji forced touya to train till he burned up. then when 290 came out--and definitely after 301--we thought maybe touya overtrained himself and burned up. and sure, he was definitely overtraining, but to find out that the burns that "killed" him started just bc he was crying so much he lost control and didnt know how to ease up on his flames? he was upset and literally trying to get himself to stop crying, and then he just set himself aflame and burned up cuz of all his emotions??? that HURTS. holy fuck.
i cant believe natsuo's feeling lowkey guilty for not socking enji in the face like he wasnt EIGHT???? and let's be real, enji woukdnt have fucking listened to natsuo telling him to talk to touya--he already wasnt listening when touya would straight up say "look at me" and when even rei said touya just wanted enji to look at him and notice him. listen, i know sometimes miscommunications happen in families and children are embarrassed to admit they want attention and so their parents remain unaware that theyre not giving their kid something they want, but touya was as clear as can be on MANY occasions, and even rei agreed touya needed the attention and enji just wasnt listening.
also i know there was discourse abt touya being sexist by telling natsu that "the women in this house are good for nothing" and mb it was partly diff translations cuz i feel like saying "this house" makes it specific to rei and yumi instead of all women everywhere, but even disregarding that--i think it's a valid thought for him to have when rei wasnt standing up for him (where he could see, at least) and yumi admitted herself that she was too scared to interfere and so just tried to fix things and keep appearances. i feel like based on what touya's seen from them, it makes sense that he has that opinion. (also gonna mention that i think rei's and yumi's choices also make sense and i think they were valid, seeing as how they were afraid as well.)
and poor natsu being woken up in the middle of the night (what was implied to be often enough, esp cuz it seemed they share a room and their futons are close) bc of touya's pain. that's a lot of emotional responsibility for an eight year old, and it is also so sad that at 13, touya didnt have anyone else to turn to but his kid brother. at 13, i remember being fully aware of the distinction in maturity between an 8 year old and myself, and it sucks that touya couldnt go to anyone but a younger child with all his pain. i bet yumi being too scared to interfere translated to touya as "she wouldnt help me" and thats another reason he didnt go to the 2nd oldest when he needed to vent. (also not related to this but how the FUCK was natsuo so tall at 8 years old? wh a t)
this chapter. this fucking chapter. my heart aches for touya, and it's just such a huge fucking shame he didnt get the attention and validation and support he needed. there must have been workarounds so that touya could safely use his quirk. there weere DEFINITELY better ways to support your son through a self-destructive quirk, ways that involved actually being there and seeing him. i feel like if someone showed him the attention he needed and talked him through how to better control his emotions (and by extension, his flames) and a positive and healthy way, he could have been someone so great. and if he ever learned how to set aside the way he felt infefior to shouto and saw that shouto just wanted to play with his cool older siblings, it might have been really beneficial to see that there was someone there who thinks he's cool and gave him attention just bc he was an older brother, who needed him when everyone else in the househild didnt seem to need him.
and lastly, the fact that the chapter ends with rei saying that shouto is the family hero and that shouto will have to face dabi?? and it makes me angry that shouto has to take on that responsibility. that he was five and suffering for things he wasnt even a part of, couldnt be properly aware of, bc he was so young. he just saw that he was separated from his siblings and that his dad bullied his mom, then grew up shouldering enji's heavy goals and high expectations and abusive training alongside the barely-there memories of his older brother who died (i say barely there bc if natsu didnt even know shouto liked cold soba, shouto was definitely not around enough to have solid memories of touya before he "died"), and now he has to do the emotional labour of fighting his villain brother (who i bet shouto lowkey empathizes with when he thinks abt it late at night) as well as suffer the physical consequences of that agni kai. and it makes me angry that he has to do that, bc he's a Good Guy and he probably feels he has some sort of filial and familial responsibility. he's only 16. he just wanted to play with touya and them, and now he has to deal with this horse shit dabi's causing cuz his dad's an emotionally neglecting asshat who couldnt see past his dumb fucking ego until he saw shouto play with a bunch of kids during shou's remedial exam a decade after his eldest son burned himself to death. what the fuckety fuck.
lastly, since we saw touya burn uo the way he did... did he really just like... burn so much his jaw fell off, and that's how they found the jawbone? cuz holy hot (BURNING too soon???) damn that must have been painful as all hell. i wonder if next chapter we get to see if someone found touya at the park and helped him out and sorted out the jaw bone thing, or if we finally get to see if deku wakes up lol.
anyways this chapter hurt my heart big time, and i kinda wanna draw kid touya crying while being overlooked by his family to let out some of those feelings but we'll see.
and i still stand by my idealistic and naively optimistic hope that dabi gets redeemed and they soend some actually time together as a family (without enji. or at least, with an enji that has apologized to touya in seiza. like, forehead-to-floor apologize.)
does this hope sort out how dabi redeems himself, seeing as how he's murdered people in cold blood and shouldnt be excused for that bc those actions are also inarguably terrible? no. not sure how he could redeem himself for that kinda stuff honestly, but it doesnt mean i dont still somehow want the todoroki sibs to get along, cuz im weak for mending families.
also id like to send a huge kudos out into the world to rei todoroki for being firm for once and for also not running away from her mistakes like her asshole husband has been. i really admire and respect that. she was afraid and being abused, but now that she's been away from enji and has had time to heal, now that her and shouto are in the mend and she's seen that her eldest son is alive and a villain, she's a place where she can acknowledge that even though she was a victim too, she played a part in touya's emotional neglect and she's taking responsibility and that speaks to some incredible fucking strength. damn.
i hope one day that dabi realizes the same in regards to his mother and natsuo, who shouldered a lot of his emotional pain and suffered the consequences of his outbursts (even though his emotions are valid and his outbursts understandable, he still hurt rei and put a lot of pressure on natsu), and i also hope he sees that for all that he hates his father, his whole existence revolves around enji and it's a shitty place to be (and then he'll have ANGST abt it and that shit will be!! so good!!!)
yeah i think those were all my feelings. i had so many lol. their family situation is so difficult, i hope they all turn out okay and alive and healing.
oh i guess i also wanted to say that i kept calling enji an asshat and asshole cuz he was for sure, but i still think his redemption is valid and im glad he's taking those steps to be a better person by being a better father. i dont know if id want his family to forgive him for all that horrible shit he put them through (im personally hoping that no matter what anyone else does, natsuo will choose to to cooperate in the healing of his family as a unit but will never forgive enji) but i think it's good of people to try to be better than they were yesterday regardless of whether or not they get forgiveness. i dont personally like enji, but i dont hate that he's getting a redemption. i just hope it's a redemption that makes sense and forces him to put in the work, and isnt something like a death sacrifice for shouto or dabi. i want him to be alive and i want his redemption process to hurt like a fucking bitch while he forces himself to make better choices and be a better person, cuz redemption isnt supposed to be easy in the slightest. i GUESS all the crying he did in 302 was a good start.
anyways, if for some reason you read all the way down to the bottom--hello! and thanks for reading haha. cheers! :)))

@tigerfire54 (It's a side blog) Kinda humourous - Gruvia finds out babybuster is a firemage because of a mutation in their DNA (pls make it extremely hilarious(or not) it's up to you) 🌸🌸🌸
Thank you for the request. I was a little challenged honestly because I'm more of a fluff and angst writer and also not really funny, but I tried my best.. 😅
I changed it up a little, with the DNA thing, I really hope you still like it tho!
*************************************************
"NATSU!"
Gray came running into the guild hall, eyes out for the dragon slayer. He found him sitting on a bench with Lucy, acting all lovey dovey. When he heard Gray call for him, Natsu immediately got up, forgetting about trying to make Lucy swoon and instead ready for a nice traditional fight. He was surprised to be honest. Ever since Gray and Juvia became parents, Gray has been pretending to be all mature and responsible. Now on the other hand, he reminded him quite of his old self. Cold, determined and.. angry? Why did he look so angry? The closer Gray came to him, the more worried Natsu became because even he could tell, this wasn't going to be one of their friendly brawls. Gray was furious and his eyes were screaming murder.
Before he knew what was happening Natsu was thrown against the wall of the guild hall.
"What the hell?"
"Funny, I was about to ask you the same thing." Gray took a hold of Natsu shirt, lifting him up and throwing a strong punch.
"Gray, let him down!" Lucy was desperately trying to remove Gray from Natsu but to no avail. Gray had a death grip on him. He saw some of the guild members staring, but at that moment he couldn't care less.
From the corner of his eye Natsu saw Grays two sons, Silver and Storm, entering the guild hall.
"Dad, stop!" Silver seemed desperate and worried. If only his mom was around, but she was still on the mission with his uncle Gajeel.
Gray glanced to his kids, but didn't let loose.
"Explain!"
"Explain what?"
Gray gestured for his younger son, Storm, to come over. While Silver was a mini version of him, Storm almost had no feature alike with him. He was pretty much the male version of Juvia. Gray wasn't bothered by that, Juvia was pretty so it was a win for the boy really. What bothered him a lot though, was the powers that they had discovered today.
"Storm, show him what you managed to do today." The younger boy didn't seem to register his father's angered state because he just smiled innocently before opening his palm and presenting... a flame?
A hot, glaring, red one.
The whole guild went quite in a matter of seconds. It couldn't be, could it..? Everyone was staring at the flame, desperately trying to make sense of the situation? Ice and water can't make a child with fire powers. It doesn't add up. Unless..
..much more went on on those missions Natsu used to take with Juvia sometimes. It had surprised every body back then. Natsu and Juvia were never exactly close. So why did they suddenly go on so many missions together? Could it be.. an affair?
The gasp when the realization hit everyone were not to be overheard. Well, at least it hit almost everyone. Because Natsu seemed oblivious to everyone's train of thoughts.
"That's awesome! Who teached you that?"
Gray glared at Natsu.
"Noone you ash-brain! They just appeared but unlike Silvers ice power, Storms aren't like mine nor Juvias."
"So? Fire is much better than ice anyway.."
"You've got to be kidding me.." Lucy sighed, not quite sure how to deal with the situation. "Natsu, he thinks you're having an affair with Juvia."
"What?" Natsu looked at her dumbfounded before finally registering the message. "Oh."
"Oh. THAT'S ALL YOU HAVE TO SAY!?" Elfman sprung to action, holding Gray back who was about to lunch at Natsu all over again.
"Gray, I think you need to calm down and think straight. Do you really believe he would do that?"
"Yes, he's an idiot after all. Wouldn't be the first time I misjudged him."
"Okay.. do you believe Juvia would do that?"
Gray calmed down slowly, finally actually giving his conclusion some thoughts. He didn't have to think long before finding his answer.
"No.."
"Exactly. Now sit down and let us think what might be the actual reason for this."
Gray grumbled an okay, before sitting down on the bench he had knocked Natsu off not that long ago.
"You're right. I don't know what I was thinking. Juvia would never do that. She wouldn't cheat on me. Especially not with someone like him.."
"What's that supposed to mean?" Natsu glared at him, ready to start another fight.
"I think its self explanatory. As if Juvia would sink so low and go out with someone like you."
"Say that to my face you perverted popsicle!"
"I just did, you flame brain! See, that's what I mean, you're way too stupid for her!"
"Who are you calling stupid!?"
"Obviously you, you idiot."
"I'll show you, you damn ice prick!"
"I'd like to see you try, ash brain."
And once again, there were punches being thrown.
"What about Totomaru?"
Gary halted his punch, glaring at Natsu.
"What about him?"
"He was with Juvia in Element 4, right? And he was a fire mage too.."
Lucy glared at Natsu in disbelief. The boy never remembers anything and now out of all the times, his memory worked?
Gray took a step back, registering what Natsu just said.
"No way.. Juvia.. Juvia wouldn't.."
Talking about the devil. Juvia walked into the guild hall accompanied by Gajeel.
"There you are. Juvia has been looking for you. Juvia missed her boys." She opened her arms and caught her sons, enveloping them in a tight hug.
"Don't you dare say a word." Gray whispered to Natsu. He'd talk to her about this later, in private.. he made enough of a scene already. Natsu nodded after Lucy elbowed him slightly.
"How have my boys been?"
"Great. But daddy is mad.." Silver glanced at his father who's eyes suddenly became huge.
"Why? Graysama, what's wrong?" Juvia looked at Gray with worry. There's no way she did it.. not with the way shes looking at him. There would be another explanation.
"Daddy thinks you're cheating."
"WHAT!?"
Juvia jumped up, immediately running to Gray. "WHAT THE HELL? GRAYSAMA, WHY WOULD YOU THINK THAT!?" The water mage already had tears in her eyes. And Gray realized he's an idiot. No way, she did it.
"Calm down, it's a misunderstanding.. It's.. it's just Storm."
"What about him? Is my baby okay?"
The little boy appeared next to his mom, tears filling his eyes. Now he looked even more like Juvia.
"Daddy doesn't like my powers.." Storm sniffled, while demonstaring the flame in his hands. Juvia stared at it before looking at the situation around her and watching the bruise that was starting to form on Natsus face.
"Gray, did you.. did you think Juvia cheated on you.. with Natsu?"
"Well, I.. I mean."
"Juvia would never cheat on you! Especially not with.." she glanced at Natsu "..him."
"HEY!"
"Told you!" Gray looked at Natsu smugly, proud of his wife. The wife that was glaring daggers his way.
"JUVIA CAN'T BELIEVE YOU! AFTER EVERYTHING. YOU ACTUALLY BELIEVE THAT! JUVIA IS SO DISAPPOINTED IN YOU GRAYSAMA!" Juvia let out a sob, turning her back to Gray.
"No, Juvia listen.. I don't, I mean.."
"Ha, you're so whipped, you popsicle!"
"Shut it, you flame brain!"
And chaos erupted once again. Lucy was desperately trying to hold back Gray and Natsu who were once again throwing punches at each other. Juvia was bawling her eyes out, drowning the guild hall while Storm was proudly showing of his flames to his older brother and the other kids.
"What the hell is going on here!? I demand an explanation."
The whole guild froze while Erza glared at the bunch. She had just walked in, followed by the Shadow gear group.
It was Lucy who dared to speak up after a long awkward silence. She explained everything in a hurry.
"I see."
"That's all you are going to say?"
"What do you want me to say?"
"Fair point."
"Can I say something?" Levy spoke up behind her.
"Sure."
"I have the explanation."
"Huh?" Every head turned to her, eagerly waiting for her to continue.
"The kids played with some of my potions yesterday. I found an empty bottle, one which changes your powers into the opposite. Turns out, it was Storm who drank it.." Levy laughed a little awkwardly, waiting for the reactions.
Gray glared at his son.
"Is that true?"
"Oh yes, the twins said I'd become much stronger if I drink it all."
"ARE YOU SERIOUS? I CANT BELIEVE YOU. AND WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY SO FROM THE START? ALSO, DON'TJUST DRINK STUFF. IT COULD HAVE TURNED OUT EVEN WORSE!" He scolded his son, furious with the whole situation. Juvia on the other hand was surprisingly quiet.
"Aren't you going to say something?" Gray glanced at the blunette, waiting for a response.
"That means, he got Juvias water powers right? Because water and fire are opposites?"
Levy nodded at Juvias question. "Exactly. The spell should work off anytime soon now though."
Juvia grinned proudly, lifting up her son and completely forgetting about the whole cheating accusations and the scolding she was supposed to do. She couldn't stay mad at her boys for long anyway.
"Juvia is so happy, she'll teach you everything. Let's go, mama will show you the water lock. It's what she first used on your dad."
Gray was deep in thoughts, thinking about how to apologize for ever thinking so bad about his wife while looking at her retreating form, before finally registering what she just said.
"Juvia, wait, no! You can't teach him something so dangerous yet, get back her!"
He ran after her, followed by Silver, who was grinning from ear to ear.
"What a weird family I have.."

Random Haikyuu headcanons Bc it’s 2 AM
I PROMISE ILL GET BACK TO REGULAR REQUESTS BUT PLS JUST LET ME GET THESE IDEAS OUT FIRST-
Also this might just be me getting all my Yamayachi feelings out because I love them-
Warnings: spoilers! Mentions of porn, Bara tiddies, and Ushijima being an absolute dork
-Yachi speaks incredible English post time skip. She just kinda picked it up?? I know it’s canon that she does well in English class but by the time she’s an adult, she’s nearly mastered it. It helps when she’s talking to foreign clients plus it’s just a neat skill to have
-Kiyoko actually can’t cook and it’s Ryuu that usually does the cooking in their house. She tries so hard to cook but she honestly just can’t wrap her head around it. For a while it made her feel bad, she just wanted to make all of Ryuu’s favorite meals, but he assures her that everything’s perfectly fine and that he’d be more than happy to be in the kitchen and impress her w all his sweet chef skills (he most definitely has one of those “kiss the cook” aprons and he uses it as an excuse to get kisses despite the fact that Kiyoko will happily give them to him even w/o the apron)
-Sugawara refuses for admit it, but he’s secretly a kpop Stan. He likes most popular groups like BTS and Black pink but he’ll happily listen to any group if somebody suggests it to him or he finds the album covers interesting (or he finds one of the members hot bc same) Multiple people, including Kiyoko and Yamaguchi, have caught him listening to kpop or have caught him in public in some weird/shitty disguise buying an album the same manner someone would buy crack, but they have yet to say anything about it
-Yamaguchi and Yachi have gone on multiple pseudo-dates. Yamaguchi will ask to hang out somewhere with Yachi as his plus one because Tsukki’s busy so they go and they hang out and it’s awesome. I say pseudo-date because while Yamaguchi’s still definitely crushing on Yachi, he doesn’t call it a date because he’s never explicitly stated it as such (plus he feels a little unfair about it since he was planning on bringing Tsukki in the first place)
-Ushijima keeps a lot of plants in his house post timeskip and he talks to them as if they’re people. He names all of his succulents after his high school teammates because he’s soft like that but his favorite one is obviously named Satori. He has absolutely sent Tendou messages about these plants and Tendou thinks his heart is going to burst when Ushijima tells him he named one after him.
-Speaking of plants. Ushijima once accidentally killed his cactus by dropping it and a single tear dripped from his eye before he full blown started silently sobbing on the floor. The plant had a name and everything and he just wanted to put it in a better spot- how could he have done this WHY HIM. Amidst this breakdown he urgently FaceTimes Tendou and when he picks up to see Ushijima crying he’s ready to fight someone but when Ushijima disstressedly tells him that he had killed his cactus (“I’m a murderer Satori-“) Tendou couldnt help but want to laugh at how cute he was being. He didn’t though, and instead offered his comfort and condolences (“He’s in a better place Ushiwaka- shh, it’s ok-“)
-Natsu once went through Shoyo’s stuff, probably looking for something that he borrowed from her, and she found a whole bunch of magazine pages and corners sticking out from his bed. She was so scared and was preparing herself to find some hella raunchy over the top porn but instead she found multiple crumpled issues of Volleyball Monthly. She doesn’t know whether to feel relieved that Shōyō isn’t into that stuff or sad because that boy is literally the embodiment of “head empty, no thought, only volleyball” - no wonder why he’s still single
-Ushijima and Aone can both do that weird thing where they move their pecs individually. Aone likes to use it to occasionally freak out Futakuchi and Koganegawa for some odd reason begs Aone to teach him how to do it too. Futakuchi dies a little more on the inside every time he sees them “training. As for Ushijima, he just kinda does it one time and ofc Tendou sees and suddenly time that was supposed to be spent changing out of uniform became everyone crowding around Ushijima’s pecs to witness them in all their glory
-Tsukkishima and Yamaguchi are both MONSTERS at DDR. Them and the other first years all went out to an arcade to fool around one time and there was a DDR machine so they jumped on and started fucking KILLING it to the point that they had all the little middle schoolers crowding around them in awe and while Tsukki is low key embarrassed about it, Yamaguchi feels absolutely amazing and does multiple jumps and spins and maybe even winks at Yachi because that’s how cool it makes him feel. For one of their pseudo-dates he takes her back again to play DDR and it’s really cute

I’ll be updating this on Saturdays cause each section will only be around 1k. The story ended up waaaaay longer than I expected when my brain went, hey! throw in this crazy twist lol.
The sudden feeling of the cool air in the train car against his arms stirs Natsu from a blissful sleep. He sits up and stretches with a yawn, letting his eyes sweep over the flashing list of stops coming up. There was only one more to go and that was awesome because soon enough he’ll be able to crawl into bed.
‘Wow,’ he thinks to himself, ‘I must be really tired.’ It wasn’t often he fell asleep on the train, and it was a good thing he’d woken up in time. Too bad he was having such a nice dream. It was the kind he hoped for when he had a solid 8 hours to enjoy; though rare as those times may be.
Being a full-time student while working part time was taxing, especially around mid-terms or finals. Hence the late-night train ride. But he was one of the lucky ones considering his workplace was flexible with students and their needs. Gramps, as they called him, was the old guy running the place. He enjoyed hiring young people because they made him feel younger. Whatever his reason, Gramps treated his employees like they were his own kids and Natsu always felt at home there.
Oh, but the blonde in his dream was such a cutie! What was her name again... darn he couldn’t quite remember; maybe Suzy? He knows there’s a y in there somewhere but that was all his addled brain could register. It was such a silly dream too, of them vying for an open seat on the train. Natsu smirks as he remembers convincing the woman to sit on his lap. It was a valid point after all, to share a spot in the full car.
Ugh, her smile was infectious, and she had such a feisty personality! His mind was clearly working on overtime to come up with his perfect girl. He chuckles to himself. Perhaps her beauty had been so overwhelming, that was why he couldn’t remember her name. And the cute blush on her cheeks when his words grew flirty surprised even him. In real life being a flirt was really not in his DNA, and most of the time he resorted to comedy to deal with all the anxiety it induced.
‘Man! I hope I dream about her again!’ He groans in his head. Even the warmth he felt in the dream chased away the chill of the air conditioning in the train. That had to be some amazing chemistry to pull off such a physical reaction.
Though it was odd to Natsu that he’d manifested a woman he’d never met before as far as he knew. Was she a customer at the store or maybe another student he’s seen in passing? If that was the case, Natsu wanted to slap himself for not noticing them sooner!
By the time Natsu reaches the apartment he shares with his friend Gray Fullbuster, the hour was pushing 11pm. His roommate was already holed up in his own room and probably asleep. So, he takes a quick shower then retreats to his room too. Thank goodness, not having an early morning class meant he could catch some extra zzz’s or get a couple of hours in working on an assignment.
Natsu throws himself backwards onto the comfortable bed and closes his eyes. He stares at the darkness behind those lids like a movie screen waiting for the conductor to turn on the reel. Come on, he wills himself, show me blondie again. He digs into his memory banks, hoping if he falls asleep with her image in his mind, it’ll cue the dream reel to play again.
Her golden blonde hair shined like a Tuscan sunset. It was neatly pulled back in a high ponytail, with a few tendrils falling loose near her face. They framed her milky smooth skin and highlighted the large chocolate brown eyes that twinkled when he made her flustered. She was a full-figured gal, busty and them hips... oh those hips were just perfection.
Call it what you will, a male lush, but he liked a little meat on their bones. Girls who were all straight up and down weren’t as appealing to him. Pretty, just not his taste. But that wasn’t the only thing he wanted in a woman. They had to have some smarts too, and judging from her book bag, Suzy or whatever was a fellow college student like him. Check more points off the list.
Kami help him this dream girl really was his dream woman!
Who was this mysterious blonde who’d found her way into his dream? Speaking of which, was one of the most vivid ones he’s ever had in his life. Her voice. Her scent. The warmth of her body as he hugged her. It all was so clear to Natsu even an hour later.
But it had to be a dream, right? Seriously, in what reality would a stranger ever let a man hug onto them? Yet she never made a move to push him away or appear uncomfortable. Quite the opposite. If Natsu was remembering the dream correctly, the blonde relaxed after he’d wrapped his arms around her waist.
He certainly felt comfortable with her too, and his intuition never did him wrong yet. Of course, being that this was his dream to direct, it shouldn’t surprise him the blonde was so perfect in every possible way. Kudos to his production team for writing such a magnificent script. His only complaint being, SHE WASN’T REAL!
Natsu let’s out a chuckling yawn just as his focus starts to dim and his exhaustion catches up.
A stranger on a train, huh? This was one story he’ll just keep to himself for now. Because knowing Gray, if he told his roommate about some perfect woman in a dream, the guy would tease him mercilessly. Whatever lucky stars he’d wished upon to receive this dream girl, he could only hope they’d bless him with a reoccurring role.

a villain
Ch.11 (1105 words)
Damn, 3am me when I was writing this really just said fuck the ship, well whatever happens happens I guess, imagine Dabi sitting there listening to Hatef--k by The Bravery while he’s thinking about Hawks. On a side note I suddenly realize the monster that I call a fanfic I’ve created.
Tags: @rachi-roo-bnha @imacowboy3 @magical-girl-04
Dabi had nothing to do other than sit with his thoughts, he was wishing he hadn’t kicked Hawks out because at least Hawks could fill the space a bit, or they could fuck, either way, when it was just Dabi the place felt empty and lonely.
“Knock knock bitch.” Shoto said barging into Dabi’s apartment without having actually knocked, he was covered in soot, “I’m using your shower because Toga’s works weird.”
“I- yeah ok go for it kid.” Dabi wasn’t going to tell Shoto that all of the showers in the building worked weird, he’d figure it out at some point. He did wonder why his brother was covered in soot but that was explained when he got a text with a video file from Hawks. “I know you don’t want to talk to me but figured you might want to see this.” And God Hawks was right, he did want to see that it was kind of awesome.
--
“Hey Shig I need to talk to you and tell you about something.” Hawks was down at the bar for the first time in a while.
“The fuck do you want kfc.” Shigaraki knew about his new recruit who had recently been offed and was pissed but would still hear the bird out.
“I want to start working for you again, this whole solo thing isn’t working out. I want to wreak some more havoc and the most effective way to do that is to join you.” Hawks had a very matter of fact tone when he spoke knowing Shigaraki rather that than a ‘clueless NPC’ in his words.
“You and patchwork are having issues aren't you.” Shigaraki said he didn't ask because he knew they were. He motioned to Kurogiri to pass them some glasses and booze, they were in for a long night.
--
In the end Hawks and Shigaraki ended up getting hammered and playing video games. The next morning the two were found leaning on each other, controllers in their laps.
“Oh my fuck.” Toga gasped seeing Hawks and Shigaraki, she had to take a picture of this and that’s exactly what she did and then went to show Shoto it’s not like he would really get it but she couldn't exactly show Dabi, she knew something was up with them.
“Young Hawks I advise you to move before he wakes up.” Kurogiri said tapping Hawks on the shoulder in efforts of waking him up, spoiler alert it didn’t work. Kurogiri even went to check his pulse to be sure Hawks wasn’t dead. He wasn't, just really tired. So the misty man gave up, he’d separate them if it got bad.
Shigaraki woke up first, feeling the added weight of Hawks on his side. “You smell like stale cigarettes kfc, you know that right.”
“I’m aware, exquisite observation.” He deadpanned not opening his eyes, if Shigaraki was going to kill him he would've done it already so he wasn't worried.
“Very well.” Shigaraki said putting a gloved hand on Hawks’ head, contrary to popular belief the two didn’t hate each other's company.
“So did we ever actually get to the question you asked me or did we just drink and game?”
“We drank an’ gamed most of the night I think, I gotta say I have missed having a challenge when I game though. Dabi is shit and Toga doesn't really get the controls.” Hawks said eyes still closed and pushing into the hand that was resting on his head.
“What about the youngest Todoroki kid? How's he play?” Shigaraki asked with a grin on his face.
“Oh you mother fucker, you knew?” Hawks’ eyes shot open, when he spoke he left it vague so Shigaraki could fill in what he knew there were a lot of Todoroki secrets that he could know.
“That you’ve been harboring the youngest and that Dabi is the oldest, yeah I knew it’s really not that hard to figure out, plus that time you all got really high the youngest came down and grabbed like two bottles from Giri, he’s still pissed about that by the way.” Shigaraki was just playing with Hawks’ hair at this point and speaking in a calm tone which is something he only ever did around Hawks and once or twice around Toga when she didn’t feel well and he only did that because he knew no one would believe her.
“Damn, well technically I wasn’t harboring him just somewhat housing him. Yeah no, don’t even tell me that sounds like bullshit I already know.”
“As long as you know kfc. We should get up at the very least move though.”
“You right, you right but I wish you weren't because I’m comfy.”
--
“So why'd you get upset with Hawks yesterday? And why did you say it was a conversation for us to have later?” Shoto really didn’t understand beating around the brush or small talk, he and Dabi were sitting around because he didn't like being alone and Toga had gone out, Hawks was nowhere to be found so he settled for Dabi.
“Fucking christ, I don’t know how to say this.” Dabi found it frustrating when he couldn't articulate his thoughts and now really wasn't the time.
“That seems like a you problem bro.”
“God the last person who called me bro was Natsu. Well damn guess that works too.” Dabi hadn’t meant to say it like that, kind of anticlimactic really.
“Did I just hear you right?”
“Yeah Sho you did. It’s me, I'm Touya but emo.” Dabi added the last bit in attempts to lighten the mood a bit, it wasn't effective.
“Oh you mother fucker, God Fuyumi would fucking kill you, hell I want to kill you.” Shoto wasn’t mad but he wasn’t happy, more irritated and sad really. After a few moments of silence Shoto spoke again, “I remember that night you know, watching you leave. You said you’d be back soon and that it was our secret. All hell broke loose in the morning, Natsuo and Fuyumi were in hysterics for hours, Natsuo was never the same and Fuyumi basically became a mum for all of us, even cooking for father.” Dabi knew all of this, he hadn’t truly left, he still came by often, he just stuck to the shadows and the roofs so no one would know.
“I’m gonna go for a bit, I need a second.” Shoto murmured to himself and got up with his hand on the door. He looked back at his older brother, “I’m glad to have you back.” Before walking out and going to sit alone wishing he’d chosen to do that in the first place.

Working Up a Sweat (The Gym Fic!) (smut alert)
Ao3 link - https://archiveofourown.org/works/22405093 (Includes all proper formatting/italics/etc)  Commission for @a-god-of-calamity :)   Magnolia, Fiore, a fair sized city boasting sixty thousand residents, and home to a few notable families. Perhaps the most notable is the Dragneel clan. Unlike other families the Dragneels are not old money. Rather, Igneel, the family patriarch often referred to as The Dragon King, earned their wealth and notability slowly but surely, starting with the purchase of a single hotel a few years before the birth of his son. By the time the son, Natsu, was in middle school that single hotel had transformed into an empire. A second hotel was dedicated in providing luxury accommodations for travelers who otherwise might not have been able to afford it. Eventually the empire grew to include include shelters for families in need and the Dragneel Fund, which provides support to those who need it. But even Igneel the Dragon King cannot live forever, so making sure his heir would be ready to take over became a priority starting right around the same time Natsu entered high school. He made sure the boy had extra lessons on proper business management as well as plenty of first hand experience helping in various positions within the organization. By the time Natsu was twenty five he knew that company like the back of his own hand.  Even the old man was frequently heard praising his son’s skills. But lately...lately it all seemed like it was a bit too much. As much as he loved his family and the company, he desperately sought some sort of an outlet. Natsu tried to work out at his private gym, knowing full well how working out can relieve so much pent-up stress. But his efforts here were fruitless. When he was at home he couldn’t help thinking about work, about the company that led to his family’s wealth. Good thing Magnolia has some pretty awesome gyms. The newest one in town was called Fairy Tail, and already had a reputation for its facilities, classes, and top-of-the-line equipment. One afternoon after a stressful meeting, Natsu made a detour from his usual path home, instead ending up in the gym. He paid for a membership and made his way to the locker room. That’s where he first saw her. Out of the corner of his eye he caught a glimpse of what he immediately described as a smoking hot blonde.  She’s curvy but clearly works out, he thought, judging by the way her sweatpants and tank top hugged her form. Her hair was tied up in a sloppy ponytail, and she had this fierce determined look on her face. What a babe. Wow. He shook his head to clear his mind, turned around… ...and walked right into a locked door. Thwack It didn’t go unnoticed. A few people snickered. But otherwise nobody really seemed to care about Natsu’s silly blunder. He dusted himself off then headed in the direction of the weight room...this time paying attention to where he was walking. As soon as he got to his destination he got right to work pumping iron. For a while that’s all he could think about. Then a voice caught his attention. "Are you alright?" "Hnh?" He looked up and saw her, the babe from earlier. Oh shit, better play it cool. "I...saw you run into that door. I would have stopped but I was running late for my class. I didn’t want my students to miss any yoga time." She was blushing. The rosy tint to her cheek made her look even prettier. "Ohh. That's nothin'. I'm fine. Thanks for asking!" He flashed a smile. Her blush deepened. "You're welcome." Pause. She bit her lip. "I'm Lucy, by the way. Lucy Heartfilia." "Nice to meet ya, Lucy." He recognized the name. She was the heir to the Heartfilia travel company, a group that sent quite a few customers to Dragneel hotels.  Rumor had it she had spent part of her inheritance buying a small bookshop and turning it into what locals referred to as paradise for bookworms. She was also every bit as beautiful as he had heard. "Likewise. You're Natsu Dragneel, right?" "Yeah, that's me. How'd you know?" "I saw your family crest on your hoodie. And I, um, recognized you from the paper." Those publicity pictures don't do him justice at ALL, she thought. To say nothing of how utterly hypnotic it was watching him do dumbbell curls. "Wow, you're beautiful and smart. I like that." “Thanks.” Her smile lit up her face. “So, what brings you to Fairy Tail? Don’t you have a private gym in your mansion?” “Yeah but sometimes you just need to get away, ya know? Escape from everyday life.” “I definitely get that. I should go, though. It’s been a long day and I’m supposed to meet my friends for dinner.” She handed him a folded up scrap of paper, blush setting her cheeks ablaze. “Call me if you want. Or, you know, if you have time.” “A cutie like you? I’ll make time.” A smile that exposed a fang and made Lucy’s heart flutter. “Al...alright! See you later, Natsu.” With that she left, leaving Natsu feeling pretty good about the whole situation. It wasn’t every day you had a meet cute with an absolute babe like Lucy, after all. With her on his mind, he couldn’t help smiling. That first night they shared a few texts. He wasn’t really surprised she didn’t talk much. After all, she did say she was meeting with friends. No way was he going to monopolize her free time like that. He also wasn’t surprised when they met up again a few days later after their respective workouts and immediately began flirting. Natsu was, however, quite surprised when Lucy asked him out. “Do you, um, want to go out sometime?” “Like a date?” Flustered nod. “Sounds good to me. I know! I can take you to dinner Saturday night.” Lucy paused and seemed to contemplate this for a minute. Then she smiled. “I like that idea. If you want I can show you around my bookstore first...” The light in her eyes suggested she wanted to, so why was she acting so shy about it? Well, Natsu wasn’t about to make a beautiful woman feel bad about something she was so clearly passionate about… “Sure!” Another one of his bright smiles. “Text me your address and let me know when you wanna meet up. Don’t keep me waitin’, alright?” Mock sternness. She saw right through his ruse, giggled,  melted his heart. “Wouldn’t dream of it, Mr. Dragneel.” Lucy leaned over and kissed him on the cheek. Natsu’s eyes widened. He sure as hell hadn’t expected that, not so soon anyway. “Is that a hint of things to come?” “Only if you’re good.” Her response left him speechless, eyes wide as he stared at her in admiration of her boldness. She treated him to another cheek kiss, giggled. “See you Saturday night.” With that the pair went their separate ways, both contemplating their upcoming date. Truth be told it was quite an exciting prospect. Neither one were exactly unlucky in love, but all previous relationships seemed to be lacking...something.  Natsu was fed up with women trying to hook up with him in an attempt to score some of the family fortune, and Lucy had had more than enough of men seeing her as nothing more than a smoking hot body and a prolific bank account. Their meeting had been quite fortuitous. Lucy didn’t care how wealthy Natsu was, as she had money of her own. And sure, Natsu thought Lucy was a total babe, but he was also quite enamored with her personality, her sense of humor, and the way her smile made her entire being light up. Sexual attraction was there, sure, but with it was also the possibility of something more, something sweet, something lasting… Natsu sure hoped so, anyway. With these thoughts in his mind, the heir to the Dragneel Fund spent his Saturday morning preparing for this date. Lucy spent hers minding her shop for a bit, although she did close early to make sure she was adequately dolled up for her suitor. “Adequately” was an understatement. She thought she looked beautiful, a perfect mix of relaxed and classy in a black uneven tank top, matching skirt, a white overshirt, cut out leggings, and black boots. Her long hair was tied into two side ponytails, and a light dusting of makeup accented her face. By the awe-struck smile on Natsu’s face when she opened the door, he was pretty impressed too. “Hey, Lucy! Looking good. I feel kinda underdressed.” A gesture at his black dress shirt and jeans. “Don’t feel that way. You look great, Natsu.” Cute blush, beautiful smile. “Come on in. I’ll show you around.” The Celestial Gate was a shop like none he had ever experienced. It had that old book smell that reminded him of his father’s study growing up. Lots of shelves were lined with an endless quantity of books. There was even a cozy little reading area with couches, beanbag chairs, and tables to set snacks on. Now, Natsu didn’t exactly visit a lot of bookstores, preferring to order any needed reading materials online, but somehow he found Lucy’s shop every bit as appealing as its owner.   “I have an idea.” “Hm?” Lucy would never admit it but she had been glancing at him, trying to figure out what he was thinking.“Why don’t we stay here? We can order something to eat and get to know each other.” That look on her face seemed to be a mix of surprise and relief. He suspected, given their similar backgrounds, that she too had had more than her fair share of glitzy, ritzy dates. Here’s the thing about glitzy, ritzy dates: You can’t properly get to know someone on them. Not really. “I’d love that.” “Awesome. Hungry for anything special?” “This is gonna sound weird but...pizza!” She giggled. Natsu grinned. He didn’t think that was weird at all. That’s how Natsu Dragneel and Lucy Heartfilia came to spend their first date sitting together in an oversized beanbag chair she called a fuf, eating pizza and talking about their life experiences. Once the food had been put away he laid back, stretching his arms behind his head. She quirked her head, bit her lip. “Can we cuddle? Is that okay?” “Duh. Go ahead.” A gesture and a smile beckoned her closer. She paused for a moment, smiled, then snuggled next to him. As if on instinct he curled his arms around her. Why not? It felt right to hold her close like this, although he couldn’t explain why. His fingers dared to stroke over the bare skin of her midriff. She didn’t object. In fact, she snuggled closer and let out a content sigh. “So warm...I like this...” “Me too.” He chuckled. He lifted his other hand to her cheek, let his thumb brush over her chin. She gazed up at him, eyes full of curiosity and wonder...with maybe a little anticipation thrown in. She nibbled her bottom lip. His heart melted. So cute, so absolutely beautiful. She looked like she needed a little tenderness, and honestly he was glad to give that to her. That decided, he leaned in, took her by surprise, kissed her. No resistance. That kiss was sweet...but entirely too fast. “Natsu?” “Yeah, Luce?”Luce...I like that... “Kiss me again?”“Alright...” Another softer chuckle. Another kiss, then another. She seemed to melt into his arms, and almost all her inhibitions floated away.Almost.As good as it felt to make out with her, to feel her body against his, Natsu couldn’t help noticing a little hesitation. And undeniable chemistry or not, he wasn’t the type to force someone into something they weren’t comfortable with yet. Especially not Lucy. So he pulled away from the kiss, rested his forehead on hers. Smiled.“That was nice...” “Yeah… we should do it again sometime.” “Definitely.” Here she kissed his cheek. “Thanks for an amazing first date.” “First, huh? That means there’ll be more, right?” “Duh.” She giggled. Natsu waited for Lucy to lock the shop up, then walked with her to her apartment door. They shared a tender kiss with a promise for more, and he watched to make sure she made it inside safely. Then he went home, unable to keep himself from smiling. Maybe an hour passed since Natsu had kissed Lucy goodnight and headed home. He had enough time to hop in the shower, change into comfy pajama pants, and flop on his bed and turn the TV on when his phone buzzed. A message...from Lucy? And a photo at that? It wasn’t exactly a surprise. After all, they had sent each other silly selfies before. So he opened the message, opened the photo file… ...and was treated to an absolutely stunning vision.  There was Lucy in a rather racy lingerie set. Black silk and lace. A pushup bra and a low-rise thong, accompanied by a cheeky message. “New set...you like?” Oh yeah, he liked, alright. He sent back a single word.“Wow.” She didn’t reply right away. That’s when he realized something was, well, amiss. His suspicion was confirmed when her response came through.“Oh my GOD wrong convo. I meant to send that to my bffs. Sorry sorry sorry!” She was mortified. Aw, poor girl... Natsu got an idea.“It’s fine. I like seeing that side of you. Let’s make it even, though.” “...you like it? And what do you mean, make it even?”He leaned back on his bed, grinned, snapped a pic, and sent it to her. “Fair’s fair ;)” At first he wondered if he scared her off, since she didn’t respond. When she did..she was clearly impressed. “Well...that explains why you always wear baggy pants ;)” One message made him blush. How could she be so adorable and sexy all at once? “Duh. ;) Just know you can always be yourself with me, sexy-as-hell selfies and all.” “Thanks, Natsu. I should go to sleep, tho. I can barely keep my eyes open. Talk tomorrow, k?”“Of course. Night, Luce. Sweet dreams.”A kiss emoji was her last message of the night. From that point on, things seemed to change between the two. To be clear it wasn’t a bad change. In fact, Natsu thought it was an improvement. Lucy was becoming more open and flirty with him, whether they were on a date, in the gym, or texting at the end of a long day. They had known each other for a little over a month, and had gotten into a routine. Chat and flirt at the gym on the days Lucy taught her class, go on dates every Saturday. Then Lucy caught Natsu by surprise by sending him spicy little snapshots every night accompanied by the same three word message: “Just for you… * kiss*”   The first night she was wearing an outfit that reminded him of a librarian...well, except for the way her top was unbuttoned to reveal a flash of black lace bra and the curve of her breasts. On another night she was laying down in a silky nightgown that accented her form perfectly. One night he was treated to the sight of his gorgeous girlfriend’s body barely wrapped in a towel, offering him a teasing glimpse of generous underboob and soft freshly washed skin, skin he wanted to kiss and touch more with each passing day. Late Thursday night, she surprised him yet again with a text. “Rough day?” “Yeah. Ugh. Board meetings suck.” “I feel that. Here. Maybe this’ll make you feel better...” Accompanied by a rather large download file. Curious, he clicked it...then realized it wasn’t one pic, but several. The folder was titled “Yoga Fun.” Yeah, he liked the sound of that. There was Lucy in a tight tank top and shorts that hugged that beautiful ass of hers, doing a variety of sexy yoga poses that succeeded in taking his breath away and sending blood straight to his cock. He couldn’t, wouldn’t stop looking at the utterly erotic vision before him. Then his phone buzzed again. “What do you think?” He responded with a pic of his own, showing one hand stroking over the growing bulge in his sweats. Buzz buzz. Another photo file showing her in the bath, her completely bare body covered in nothing but warm water and bubbles. “Mm, yummy. Now to enjoy a nice bath. More tomorrow...” Followed by a wink and a heart. That night Natsu gave in to temptation. He let his imagination wander as he flipped through Lucy’s photos, his fantasies focusing on what he would very much enjoy doing with the voluptuous blonde. At this point the sexual tension between the two was as thick as fog. They were clearly both head over heels for one another, both pretty damn sure they were going to hook up at some point… but the question was, when? The answer turned out to be sooner than either expected. The next night, after some pretty intense flirtation and a goodbye kiss that included him grabbing her sweet little ass in the middle of Fairy Tail’s evening rush, Natsu got a message. “Want to play with me tonight?” The accompanying image made his mouth water. She lay on her back in a rather skimpy ensemble consisting of a cupless bra and low-cut lacy panties. Her free hand, the one not holding the camera, stroked over her bare skin. Her hair was down, flowing freely around her, and there was a sinfully inviting look on her face. There was only one acceptable answer here. “YES.” “Good. What’cha wearing?” For once words failed him and he went for the direct approach, took a hopefully appealing selfie showing off chest and low-hanging sweatpants, and sent it to her. Her response sent his heart racing. “Yummy, but a bit overdressed, yes?” “If you say so...” He paused, flung his sweatpants off, took another pic. “Is that better, babe?” “Getting there. I’ll give you a special treat if you lose the boxers, Dragon Prince.” One single text sent his pulse racing. Was she serious?! Gods, he hoped so… He also didn’t want to keep Lucy waiting, not with such an intriguing promise hanging in the air. So off went the boxers. He grasped his cock and snapped another photo, hoping she would like what he had to offer. By the looks of it, she was quite impressed. “Dragon is right. I’d love to ride that...” Accompanied by a wink. He blushed. For several moments there was silence. Natsu wondered if Lucy had forgotten about this special treat… then his phone buzzed, indicating a received video file… That video file… holy shit, it was hotter than anything he had ever had the privilege of witnessing. Lucy was on her knees on her bed. Her legs were parted, and she ran her hands through her hair. The whole time she was flashing a sexy little smile at the camera. Her hands roamed. They cupped and squeezed her generous tits, and fingers brushed over perky, berry pink nipples. Holy shit she’s fucking perfect… He couldn’t, wouldn’t, take his eyes off of her, slowly pumping his cock as the video continued. Her hands wandered downward, stroking over her tummy and lower. She did a little shimmy dance as she hooked both thumbs into the waistband of those tiny panties, tugged down, exposing silky skin and a bare hint of blonde hair… “Natsu...” Her seductive whisper made his cock twitch. He grasped harder, eagerly anticipating what was next, wanting to see her most intimate regions… ...but the video stopped there. Knowing Lucy, this was deliberate. She did like teasing, after all. He sent her a video of his own, showing her exactly what he thought of her special treat. “More please?” “Of course…*kiss emoji* You know… I think of you when I touch myself…and I feel like playing tonight...” “Oh? I’d like to see that.” “You can if you want...vid chat, maybe?” “Yes please.” The text went through and perhaps a minute later Natsu’s laptop beeped. Incoming video request. He did a flying leap over to his computer desk, perched himself in the chair so he was comfortable and visible to the camera, and accepted the request. There was Lucy, beaming up at him in all her beautiful glory. He could see her a lot clearer now, thanks to the larger screen. Her skin looked so soft, supple, glistening with a fine mist of sweat. “Ready, Natsu?” “You bet,  Lucy. Let’s play.” His voice was dark and low, practically a growl. The sound gave her a sweet chill. Playing with him was going to be fun… “Alright...” Soft giggle. She bit her lip, gazing up at him with those big brown eyes as she tugged her panties off and let them fall to the ground. One hand shifted between her legs, parting her lips so he could see easier. “You like this, Natsu?” A purr as she traced fingers over her clit and those delicate pink folds. “I love it, Lucy...” Definitely a growl as he grasped and pumped. His breath caught in his throat as he watched her pull out a vibrator from under her pillow and gently trace it over her skin, taking the same path her fingers had taken moments before. “Shit...I wish that was me...” “And I wish you were...right... here...” She slipped the toy into her pussy, then let it buzz away as she fucked herself. Her voice got a little higher. She sounded a bit like a video girl when she moaned, except those girls had absolutely nothing on his goddess. “Babe, if I were there you wouldn’t have to play with that damn toy...” “Ohh...really… what, mnn, what would you do to me if you were here?” “Anything you wanted.” Fuck, the thought of really being with her was making his already impressive erection even bigger. “I think I’d lay you on that soft bed of yours, warm your entire body up with my mouth, then take my time pleasuring and fucking you until we were both completely satisfied.” “That sounds like heaven. Mnnn...” The toy was drenched, and he could see her horny juices leaking from her folds as she humped her hips, one hand pinching and tweaking her nipples. “Na...Natsu...” “Go on, Lucy-baby.” He caught a glimpse of her nodding in response. Then she moved the toy up to rub little circles against her clit...and immediately cried out. “Ohh….Natsuuuuuu!” Her entire body trembled in utter ecstasy, all for him. Natsu kept pumping, fueling his own passion with the thought of being buried deep inside her, imagining her milking his cock as she came… “Lu...Lucy….!!!” One last mighty pump brought forth a spattering mess of his seed. Given the circumstances, he couldn’t say he cared. It’d get cleaned up eventually. “That...that was fucking amazing...” “M-hm. It was...” Big happy sigh. “Hey Natsu?” “Yeah?” “I’m gonna hop in the shower. I’ll call you when I get out, alright?” “Alright. Take your time, baby.” A giggle as she blew a kiss, then the screen went blank. She did indeed take her time. He had time to get cleaned up and was loafing on his bed, this goofy happy smile on his face. He had also had time to send a message to the company’s merchandiser requesting that a Dragneel Fund hoodie be sent to a certain bookshop that next morning along with a large bouquet of flowers, which explained part of that goofy smile. Ring Ring They exchanged some sweet talk followed by the comfortable pause of two people very much in love. Then Lucy sighed. “What’s up? Everything’s good with us, right?”“Everything’s wonderful. I was just thinking, that’s all.” “Thinkin’?” “Yeah...” Was it his imagination or did her voice falter here? “I...I think I love you, Natsu. Isn’t that crazy? I mean, we haven’t exactly known each other very long...”“That’s not crazy, Lucy.” His voice was low, soft. He was imagining holding her close as they talked, maybe even running a hand through her hair. “You’re not the type of girl who’d be so open and sexy with someone unless you really cared for ‘em.” “...how do you get me so well?” “Because I love you, duh.” Too late to take the words back now, not like he wanted to. “It’s weird. This whole thing started out as a big physical attraction but the more we’re together, the more I’m around you, the more I realize it’s gotta be love.” Sniffle, sniffle.“Lucy? Are...you crying?” “Y..yeah, a little. Because I’m happy. You...you make me happy...” Siiiigh. Then,  “I... think I have an idea for our next date.” “Alright. What’s that?” “We could meet at your place and have some, um, private gym time. I could show you some yoga moves in person...” Yoga moves...the implication was clear with the tone of her voice. Oh, they were going to get flexible, all right. “I like the sound of that. Same time, right?” “Yeah.” Yawn. “Sorry. I’m about to fall asleep.” “It’s okay. I’ll see ya tomorrow. Sweet dreams, princess.” “Night, Natsu. Love ya.” Click. That was that. Both fell asleep easily, smiling even in slumber. In the blink of an eye it was Saturday afternoon. Natsu got an early start, heading down to his gym to make sure everything was in order an hour before Lucy was due. Then he started lifting weights, pumping iron until the doorbell rang. There she stood, smiling at him in a slightly oversized hoodie and those same shorts she had teased him with the other night. “Hey, beautiful.” “Hi.” Blush. “Where should I put my bag?” “Anywhere’s fine. I’ll get staff to take it up to my room.” “Okay.” She set the overnight bag down, then made a show of unzipping her hoodie. She peeled it off slowly, flashing him a saucy smile as she revealed a skimpy crop top that accented every curve.Damn…“So, ah, how do we start?”“Watch me and follow my lead.” A quick kiss that would have been chaste were it not for Lucy nibbling his lip. Watching her was no problem, not when the sight of her enthralled his senses. He wasn’t great at yoga, but she was more than willing to help. She brushed her hands against him, giving him subtle hints at how to correct his posture. Eventually she started showed him some more complex poses, more for the sake of showing off for him than anything else. Splits, bending over, even a rather suggestive headstand. Then she felt a warm hand stroke up her thigh. Siiiigh. “That feels good...” “Want some more?” “Yes please.” “Whatever you say. Keep posin’.” And pose she did. She did another headstand, starting with her legs straight up but moving into splits. His hands found her ass, squeezed, then adventurous fingers stroked over the front of her shorts. She blushed, exhaled, didn’t protest. She also didn’t tremble at all, no small feat when she was being intimately fondled. Damn him and his amazing hands. Slowly, carefully, she moved her legs straight upward. “Hold still.” “Okay.” Inhale, exhale. She didn’t have to wait long to find out what he was up to. His hands roamed again, this time tugging her shorts upwards and off her legs. “Oh...Naughty boy.” “Don’t pretend you don’t like it.” Dark chuckle, flash of fang. “I like it...and I think you’d like it if I got rid of some of these clothes.” “You know I would. Show me. Please.” “Anything you want, love.” In one smooth motion Lucy got back on her feet. Then she made a show of peeling her top and sports bra off...a show Natsu watched intently. She didn’t break eye contact, not even as her hands roamed and cupped her now bare breasts. He caught a glimpse of her tongue flicking over lips. Holy shit. “Now what?” “Don’t tell me you’re playing innocent, Natsu...” “No, no way.” Here he reached over, cupped her cheek, smiled at her. “I want you, but I want you to have a say in what we do tonight.” “Oh...okay. In that case...” Her eyes brightened and her smile turned mischievous. “Tie me up.” Not a question, none of her usual shyness. He nodded then wrapped some athletic tape around her wrists. Then he took a good long look at her. There she lay, naked except for those little panties. Those would come off soon enough. First he focused on her bare form, leaving kisses and love bites all over her body. He grabbed and kneaded her ass. She squirmed. Good sign. "Hold still.""Okay..." He tugged her panties off, baring the sweet pink treasure between her thighs. And what a treasure. He gazed at her in reverence. One hand stroked over her tiny tuft of soft blonde hair."Damn, Lucy. You're perfect.""Thanks. Don't be shy, though." Eyes heavy, voice low and sensual. He nodded then turned his full attention to lavishing pleasure on her. Fingers traced over her clit with feather soft touches while his other hand parted her lips oh so gently. She smells incredible... Growl. He leaned in and flicked his tongue against her delicate pink folds. She trembled, quietly begging for more."More" was exactly what he wanted to give her. His free hand stroked her thigh then squeezed her ass. Then he treated her to a spank. She moaned and arched her back. So he did it again, his hand leaving a red mark on her peach skin. Her scent changed, and she was definitely getting wetter. “The cute rich girl has a spanking kink, huh?""Mm-hm.""What if I spank you while I'm eating you? That sound good, Lucy?""Why don't you see for yourself?" She winked and giggled...but then his hand met her ass again and the giggle became a moan.He nibbled her clit. His fingers kept her lips parted as he moved again, letting his tongue trace over her slit. She was a hot, delicious mess: squirming, tits heaving, biting her lip as she begged for more. Another spank. She made an absolutely feral sound, which he took as encouragement to go on.Not that he needed encouragement...His tongue slid into her slick folds, lapping up her delicious wetness. He had wanted to taste her ever since they had played together on camera, and reality exceeded his expectations. She was a goddess, and her pussy tasted like heaven. He wanted nothing more than to savor her, to satisfy her over and over...He also wanted to carry her up to his bedroom, pin her down to his bed, and bury himself so deliciously deep inside her...Well, that would happen soon enough. She shifted, draping her long legs over his shoulders, spreading to give him better access. He slipped two fingers into her, fucking her with his hand as he licked and nibbled. He hit a certain spot. She shuddered.“Ahhhh!” Aha!He hit it again, rubbing what had to be her g-spot with increased pressure. "Holy shit Natsu just like that....mnnnnh...yes..." Another nibble, another thrust. Lucy didn’t just moan Natsu’s name. She screamed it as her body was rocked by a glorious orgasm complete with a spray of her juices. Never had he ever made a girl squirt before, but no other girl was quite like his Lucy… he smiled at the thought as he untied her, feeling her soft hands fluff through his hair as he licked her clean. “Thanks for the snack, babe.” “Mmm, and thank you for the orgasm. I’ve never cum so hard in my life, love.” It amazed him how she could go from delicious temptress to sweet girl next door so quickly, but he could honestly say he loved both sides of her. With that decided he pulled her into a kiss, one he hoped conveyed every bit of feeling he had for her, one she was happy to return. “Let’s go to bed.” The softest of whispers yet so sensual. He nodded, picked her up and carried her to his room. He lay her on his bed with another oh so tender kiss. In all his fantasies he had imagined playing as rough with her as possible, taking her with animalistic fervor. Now that she was in his bed...it didn’t seem right. His Lucy deserved to be pleasured, savored, worshiped. And Natsu was very keen on worshiping her. She helped him shuck his sweatpants off and he got right to work. He kissed and nibbled her body, caressed her soft skin, taking in every reaction. She had to be exhausted from their ordeals down in the gym, but you’d never know it. She writhed with each touch, moaning with each caress and kiss. He nibbled her collarbone while his hands explored her breasts. Soft, smooth, full. He squeezed and kneaded, all while suckling the tiny berry of her nipple. Every so often he switched, mostly to devote equal attention to both sides. Then she let out a sound kinda like a whimper. “Want it, baby?” “I...need it. Please, Natsu...” “Alright. Gimme your hand...” Nod. He clasped her hand and braced himself over her. She wrapped both legs around his waist, her way of encouraging him to make the next move. When he pushed his hard cock into her sweet, damp, depths, the euphoria both felt was audible in their moans and sighs. “Nnnnnh, feels so good, Natsu...” Words couldn’t describe the feeling of finally being one with her, of making love to this woman who meant so damn much to him… They moved together, each motion accented with kisses that raised in intensity as passion heightened. Her hands wandered. He wondered absently if there was a rhyme or reason, or if she just wanted to explore his skin with her fingers. Either way it felt incredible. She felt incredible. He paused mid-thrust, towering breathless over his goddess, gazing at her and seeing her gazing back at him, her eyes amber with love light. “Love ya, Lucy.” “And I love you. Now shh.” Delicate fingers traced over his mouth. Her hand slipped to his cheek and pulled him into a kiss. He got the hint right away and resumed pleasuring her.  So warm, so inviting. So perfect. Minutes...hours...how long did they spend together that night, entwined in passion? Neither cared about time. Being together was all that mattered. Once passion reached its peak and the waves of bliss subsided they lay together kissing and cuddling. They only paused, reluctantly, when Natsu got up claiming a need to pee...which ended up taking longer than Lucy expected. He came back, scooped her up and carried her to the bathroom, settling her into the warm waters of a bath. Then he got in with her and treated her to a kiss. Later on, dried off and cuddling in bed, Lucy grabbed her phone and took a selfie. Natsu quirked his head at her.“For memories.” “Ohh. We’ll have plenty of those.” He kissed her and she knew he meant it. This beautiful night was just the beginning... (Epilogue coming as soon as I can get it written :) )

Okay so obviously I love the Haikyuu guys but I also want to say how much I love all of the Haikyuu girls and the fact that they are all interesting characters with their own arcs within the series!
Like Yachi!!! Going from being a super shy and anxious young girl who sort of maybe likes art and design but is struggling to find a real passion for something to a confident young woman working in the city with a strong network of friends across the country that she can rely on! And we get to see how she grows and becomes more confident and invested in the task before her!
And Kiyoko! She comes across as a little aloof at first but then we get to see that she's actually a little shy and serious so she doesn't have many close friends, but as soon as she meets someone she can speak freely with she starts to open up! And then we learn her back story with the scars that she doesn't like to show and see that as she opens up she becomes more confident in herself and her body. And how crazy it is that Karasuno had no manager when she joined(!) so she essentially took on the role with zero help and made it her own, setting the precedent for Yachi and everyone who came after her!
Mika too! At the start she breaks up with Daishou because she thinks he always chooses volleyball over her but then she realizes how much the sport means to him and that maybe they were both kind of wrong, her in not even trying to understand his passion and him in not bothering to share it with her and excluding her from this part of himself. Then she asks him to teach her more about it and we watch as she becomes knowledgeable and even invested in the sport!
And then Saeko! She plays the drums! She works in a motorcycle store! She affectionately bullies her little bro and his friends but also is always 100% there and pulling for them as their biggest supporter (and ready to take down enemy spies lmao), reconnecting with some old schoolmates and new drinking pals! What more do you want from her?
Alisa and Akane as well! Alisa is the best most supportive big sister to her airhead baby bro and I am so here for it! And Akane is so little but so sassy, she has a strong interest in volleyball and isn't afraid of the rowdy guys (I mean, how can she when her brother is Taketora?) and then when we see her after the time skip she's covering the Olympics as an intern? Even though she's still a teenager? That's so cool!!!
Kanoka was not kidding when she said she came to win all of the games! (P.S. Tanaka and Kiyoko watching her was so precious!) She's such a sweet character and her drive and determination is so admirable! Seeing that pay off for her, that she went to the Olympics, was so satisfying!
Michimiya! She was so upset by her own losses but she held it together for her team and threw her whole heart into supporting the guys when they made it through! And I could talk forever about how that final panel we see her in speaks volumes about her character and her development! Even though she moved away from volleyball and realized it wasn't her calling she was still invested in sports and eventually found her right fit! And the lessons she learned while playing volleyball must have had such a huge impact on her future! (Side note but sepak takraw is such a badass sport too!)
Natsu!!! I'm so proud of her!!! She started off as Hinata's cute baby sister who looked up to her brother and seemed to be developing an interest in volleyball through him and then blam! Suddenly she's a player for Niiyama and I'm sure she's living up to her brother's name and then some!
We didn't get a lot of time with Miwa but it's so cool that she followed her passion of hairdressing and was seemingly successful with it! I like to think that she's so proud of Tobio but also likes to tease him a lot!
Best girl Nametsu keeping all of those giant Dateko guys in line! I love her! (I'm sad we didn't see her after the time skip but I'm sure she's out there doing something awesome!)
Also shout out to two of my favorite managers Yukie and Kaori! Loved seeing that the strong bond between them has lasted into adulthood! And that Yukie is still as obsessed with food as ever!
I just... Love them so much 😭

Read on Ao3 The once-first-years begin their final season together. Rated: G
Hinata pressed his forearms together, bumping the ball back toward Kageyama in a high arc. They’d spent most of the rainy afternoon in Hinata’s room, playing video games or re-watching highlights from pro games, but as soon as the skies cleared in the evening they shrugged on their jackets and started tossing around a worn volleyball in the backyard.
It’d become a more common scene over the years, since Kageyama finally started acknowledging their friendship for what is was. At the very least, he had decided it was less trouble to actually answer Hinata’s texts and come over (at the risk of getting roped into spinning for Natsu’s double dutch practice) than to ignore him and have Hinata appear unannounced at his house twenty minutes later. Nowadays, most off days found the two of them chatting as they savored the simple pleasure of passing the ball back and forth.
As Hinata watched Kageyama stretch up his arms to toss he was reminded of another evening in his yard, about three months ago. Unlike the humid April evening it had been a cold, harsh night in January. The air was biting and snow began to swirl as clouds obscured the sunset. Their devastating loss to Inarizaki at Nationals was still fresh, stinging and burning with every recollection. They had no net but Hinata pushed the ball into Kageyama’s chest, demanding he set for him. He’d spiked each one of his setter’s tosses into the gathering snow with more ferocity than the last, until they were left staring up into the dark sky with silent, hot tears streaming down their cheeks. They probably would’ve stood there all night if Hinata’s mom hadn’t called them inside with dark predictions of losing their fingers to frostbite.
Now, on the eve of a new volleyball season, the mood was different. They had licked their wounds, healed and rested, and were itching for more.
“What do you think the new first-years will be like?” Hinata asked.
Kageyama smirked. “Hopefully they won’t suck as bad as you did.”
Hinata sucked his teeth, switching from an underhand to overhand position. “Well hopefully they won’t have your shitty attitude.”
Kageyama shot him a look but didn’t say anything, reaching up to toss the ball high and slow to the side. Hinata’s eyes flashed as he saw the opportunity. With a running start he launched himself into the air and spiked the ball down hard. They grinned as their eyes met.
“It’s kinda sad though, isn’t it,” Hinata said as he jogged to retrieve the ball, “Our last season at Karasuno.” There was more he could’ve said— their last season as teammates, probably the last season they’d see each other regularly, their last season before things really changed— but he didn’t.
“Not really,” the setter said bluntly.
“Kageyama! You’re so heartless,” Hinata hollered, chucking the ball at him, “You sound like Tsukishima!”
Usually an insult like that would have him red in the face, but he caught the ball with a smile and a glint in his eye. “I mean, it’s not like we’re ever going to stop playing volleyball, right?”
Across town Tsukishima sneezed, feeling an odd twinge like someone was talking about him.
Yamaguchi jumped a little on the other end of the bed. “Shit, you’re not getting sick, are you?” He whipped around to look at him with wide eyes, sitting forward on his knees. “You can’t get a cold now, Tsukki, the new season starts tomorrow!”
Tsukishima adjusted his glasses with a frown. “Will you relax? It was one sneeze, I’m not getting hospitalized.”
“Sorry, Tsukki,” Yamaguchi sighed, slumping back against the wall and clutching his stomach, “I’m just so anxious about my first day as captain. Yachi gave me some advice on dealing with nerves, but I feel just like the first time Coach called me up as a pinch server.”
“Yeah, you’ve been acting psychotic all week. It’s ridiculous.”
“Hey!” Yamaguchi tossed a pillow at his head. “Just because you never get worked up about anything doesn’t mean it’s ridiculous. There’s a lot of pressure!”
Tsukki rolled his eyes, running a hand through his bangs to fix them. “It’s ridiculous when you’re the only one who still doubts your skills.” He refused to meet Yamaguchi’s gaze but he couldn’t help the corner of his lip curling upward.
Yamaguchi smiled, understanding how Tsukki complimented him in his own way. “Y-Yeah, I guess,” he said, scratching the back of his head.
“Now will you finally pick a course?” Tsukki picked up his Switch controller and nodded toward the Mario Kart menu blinking on the TV, “I wanna kick your ass again.”
“Oh right- sorry, Tsukki!”
The next morning broke cold and clear. In his rush to bike to school Hinata almost hit Kageyama in the street, but after some arguing and a little shoving they agreed to stop by Sakanoshita Store together. Just as they got to the shop, three other figures appeared at either side of the intersection— Tsukishima and Yamaguchi from one direction, Yachi from the other. For a second, they all blinked at each other in silence.
“Guess we all had the same idea, huh?” Yachi said with a smile.
They all laughed and, realizing it’d been weeks since they’d really seen each other, fell into handshakes and eager chatter. Even Tsukki seemed excited, his lips pressed into a smile.
“You finally got the haircut, ‘Guchi!” Hinata grinned as his teammate reluctantly submitted to having his hair ruffled.
“It looks good! You’re not shaggy anymore,” Yachi giggled. “Oh wait! I guess we should be referring to you as Captain Yamaguchi now, huh?” She struck a pose and saluted him with a stiff upper lip.
Everyone else laughed, but Yamaguchi looked a little sea sick. “Ugh. Remind to buy some antacid, I’m gonna need it.”
“You’ll be fine,” Tsukishima said, “It’s not like any first years could ever be worse than these two were.” He smirked at Hinata and Kageyama.
Hinata bounced with indignation. “Why does everyone keep saying that? I wasn’t even that bad, Kageyama’s the one-”
“-Don’t try to blame me, dumbass, my ‘attitude’ was ‘cause you sucked,” Kageyama snapped.
“What?!”
“Oh, these?” She pulled her low ponytail over her shoulder so she could fidget with a lock of hair. “It’s nothing, just- I guess some people have been noticing the posters I make for you guys and, well, the girls’ team asked me to do something for them.” She turned the papers around, revealing an eye-catching design to recruit new members.
Yamaguchi looked stricken. “Oh god,” he groaned, “How am I supposed to keep order? I can’t be scary like Sawamura or Ennoshita!” A chill ran through the group at the memory of lectures past. None of them were sure anyone could be scarier than Daichi.
Evidently looking for a change in topic, Yamaguchi sighed and pointed to the small stack of papers Yachi clutched to her chest. “Anyway, what’ve you got there, Yachi?”
The other boys nodded approvingly but Hinata’s eyes went wide. “You’re doing work for another team? But you’re our manager!” He clenched his fists, shouting to the sky, “Augh! It was so cool to be the only club with awesome posters!”
“It’s way too early for this much yelling,” Tsukishima muttered.
Yachi’s face immediately went red and she threw out her hands. “I-I’m sorry Hinata! I told them it was just this once, I don’t want anyone on the team to think I’m a traitor!”
Hinata, who didn’t seem to be listening, wrapped his arms around Yachi from the side. “Screw the girls’ team, I won’t let them take you!”
Suddenly the door of Sakanoshita Store flew open and they all froze. “Oi!” Coach Ukai appeared, his breath a mix of cigarette smoke and steam, “You idiots gonna stand there causing a ruckus in the freezing cold all morning, or are you gonna come in?”
“Sorry, Coach!” They called, running inside.
Ten minutes later they filed out, Yachi sipping hot cocoa (an apology for “roping her in with the idiots”) while the boys munched on granola bars. Yamaguchi was feeling more confident after a pep talk from Ukai, and everyone was energized after hearing that they had an early practice game scheduled.
“I guess if I’m having trouble I can always count on you to whip the new recruits into shape, right Yachi?” Yamaguchi said, nudging her with a smile.
Yachi withered a little. “Oh gosh, no- I have my hands full enough trying to wrangle you guys and the second-years.” Really, the second-years were well behaved and her own cohort listened when she found the courage to reprimand them. But somehow a joke had gotten started that she’d turn into a drill sergeant and just the thought made her want to faint. She shuddered even when she remembered how poorly everyone got along before she joined in their first year. Sure she’d grown a lot since then, but she still wasn’t sure her nerves could handle something like that.
“Oo, we should all take a picture before our practice game this week,” Hinata suggested, “To commemorate the start of our last season!” Yachi and Yamaguchi responded with enthusiastic yeses, but Kageyama and Tsukishima both scoffed.
“I’m not doing that,” they said in unison. Everyone tried to stifle their laughter when the two boys looked at each other with a mix of shock and disgust.
“Fine,” Kageyama said after a minute.
“I guess,” Tsukishima muttered.
“Perfect!” Hinata tried to throw his arms over their shoulders, but they both brushed him off with a scowl. “Karasuno- fight!”
“Shut up, it’s too early!”

What if scenario: Dream?
"Yoshi, why are you looking at me like that?"
"Because you are beautiful, Sayuri."
"D-Don't lie! If you want to laugh at me, just laugh!"
Sayuri pouted angrily and Yoshimune could not stop smiling while looking at her reaction. He always wanted to take her to the Natsu Matsuri (summer festival) for many times but she refused, with the excuse of wanting to do more training in her master's dojo.
When he finally managed to convince her to go with him, she admitted that she did not have any yukata to wear. His mother did not hesitate as she went on to make a pretty yukata for her.
"Y-you don't have to, madam! Why would you want to trouble yourself making a yukata for...for me?"
"You have been taking care of Yoshi, so I would like to make one for you as a thank you gift."
"But-"
"Sayuri, please accept this gift from us," Yoshimune's father replied kindly. "If you wear it, Yoshimune would not stop smiling by looking at you."
Sayuri's face grew redder and she looked like she was about to collapse due to embarrassment. Ieyasu simply chuckled as he turned to look at his son.
"She acts so much like my childhood friend. She's not honest with herself, right?"
"Yes, she is. It is easy to tell just by looking at her face."
"Of course it is easy. You have been growing up with her."
"She's been protecting me for a long time. And now, it is my turn to protect her."
"Looks like you do care about her, Yoshimune."
As his mother needed more time to make a yukata for Sayuri, Yoshimune told her and his parents that he would be waiting at the shrine. He left the house and he saw many people were wearing yukatas and they were too walking to the shrine to enjoy the festival.
He was already climbing the stairs when he heard a child crying. He looked around to see who was crying but most of the children accompanied by their parents were smiling and laughing excitedly.
He still could hear a child crying and it came from the forest.
It was a risk to venture the forest alone but he could not help it. If there was a lost child in the forest, he would need to ask anyone who had lost their child.
He walked through the thick bushes and he finally found a little girl sitting on the ground while crying. The girl had long brown hair that was tied in a bun with a flower hairpiece on it. She was seen wearing a dark blue kimono with some pretty flower patterns.
"...papa...mama...where are you...?"
The girl was sobbing and Yoshimune had to wonder why her parents were not around. Or the girl wander on her own until she was separated from her parents?
He took a few steps in front of the girl and he knelt so that he could get to see the girl's face better.
"Hey, little one. Are you alright?"
The girl stopped crying for a while and she looked up to see him. The girl's eyes were swollen and he guessed that she had been crying for too long. They were staring at each other and Yoshimune was smiling, awkwardly.
Was she about to cry and scream for help? He probably needed to prepare for the worst if other people thought he was bullying a little girl-
"You look like Primo!"
"...huh??"
The girl's face brightened and she was smiling at him. It looked like she had forgotten all her fears and she was not even afraid of a total stranger like him-
Most importantly, did she just mentioned he looked like Primo?
He could have sworn that he was about to get another asthma attack because no one aside from the Sawada family and the Asari family knew about Ieyasu's true identity.
"Uh, little one," Yoshimune tried to calm down as he smiled. "I am glad that you are not crying but...where are your parents?"
"I...I don't know," the girl replied and there was a sad look from her eyes. "I was with papa and mama earlier but...all of a sudden, I found myself standing in the middle of the forest. I tried to look for them and I can't find a way out of here."
"Ah, I see. Do you want me to help you to find your parents?"
"Yes!" the girl's eyes twinkled. "Yes, of course!"
"Alright. Just hold my hand and don't get lost again."
Yoshimune held out his hand and the girl happily took his hand. He was careful not to walk in large steps so that the girl could follow him. They managed to leave the forest and they joined other people climbing the stairs to the shrine.
His parents and Sayuri were not around and he would want to spend some time to look for the girl's parents.
He was glancing and the girl was holding his hand tightly. She was a lot happier when he was with her and he was quite worried. Normal children would feel insecure to walk with strangers but she was not afraid of him.
"You look like Primo!"
He could not stop thinking why she said that to him. He had the urge to ask when the girl suddenly stopped walking with him. He stopped as well and they were standing in front of the fish stall. She was looking at a small pool filled with goldfishes before she turned to look at him.
"Big brother! Can I try to scoop the goldfish?"
"You know how to scoop it?"
"I know! I just need to scoop it with a paper scooper, right?"
"What a smart girl," the stall owner chuckled as he looked at Yoshimune. "Who is this cute little girl? Your sister?"
"N-no, I mean, I am helping her to-"
"Ah, you are babysitting someone else's child," the stall owner laughed as he gave them the paper scooper. "Here, how about give it a try?"
The girl thanked the stall owner and she started to try scooping the goldfish. No matter how many times she was trying, her paper scooper would always break before she could try to get the goldfish. Her cheeks puffed and she felt annoyed. Yoshimune chuckled with amusement while looking at her reaction.
"That is not the way to scoop the goldfish. Let me show you."
Yoshimune pushed his sleeves away and he was placing his paper scooper closer to the water surface. He calmly waited for the goldfish to swim near the paper scooper and he scooped it from its head before he slipped it into a bowl of water. The girl watched with amazement while she clapped her hands.
"That's awesome, big brother! How did you do it?"
"You need to make sure not to make the paper partially wet or it will break easily. While scooping, you must scoop from its head instead of its tail because the tail's movement can rip the paper. Also, you need to learn to be patient while waiting for the goldfish to swim to the scooper."
"Oh, let me try again!"
The girl got another new paper scooper and she was waiting while trying not to make the paper partially wet. Once the goldfish's head was at the paper scooper's frame, she quickly scooped it and slipped into her bowl.
"I did it!"
"Congratulations," Yoshimune smiled. "You did well."
"Thank you, big brother!"
The stall owner filled two plastic bags with water and placing the goldfishes in each bag before he gave it to them.
They continued to walk around and Yoshimune had been asking any parents or adults if they had seen the girl's parents. He did not want to see the girl's sad face when she still could not get to see her parents, so he had been bringing her around to play some games to brighten her mood.
He secretly wished that he had a little sister to play with.
Once they were done, he brought her to the shrine to release the goldfishes they had scooped in the pond.
"Big brother?"
"Yes?"
"People usually would bring the goldfish home. Why we need to bring them here?"
"Well, that is because...this is their home."
"Their home?"
"Even if I want to bring them home, they do not have much freedom. Rather than keeping them, it would be better if we can just let them live in a better environment where they can meet more friends."
"Friends, huh?"
The girl was staring at the pond and her mind was thinking of something else. Yoshimune wondered if she had friends and he decided to take this chance to ask her.
"When we first met, you said that I look like Primo. May I know who is that Primo guy?"
"Oh, I always see him in my dream! He's the coolest and the most amazing man I've ever seen! He fought against the bad guys with his flames and his punches!"
"Flames? Punches?"
"Yes! He is so strong and I want to be as strong as him one day!"
"But...I do not think that I am as strong as this Primo," Yoshimune said nervously. "I have to wonder why I do look like him."
"Well, that's because...your soul is the same as he is."
"My...soul?"
"When I first saw you, I can immediately tell that you are not a bad guy. You are kind, gentle and helpful. That is what I like about you, big brother."
Yoshimune was stunned with the girl's words. She was so young and yet, she could see someone's character better than anyone else.
"Am I really...a kind person?"
"Yes, you are! Big brother, can I meet you again? I want to play more with you!"
He smiled warmly as he went on to touch her hair gently.
"Of course you can. I would love to play with you the next time we meet."
"Yay!"
"Before I forget, my name is Yoshimune. What is your name, little one?"
"Oh, my name is N-!"
He almost could know the girl's name when he heard loud sounds of rocket whistling, crackling and pops from the sky. He turned around and he could see colourful fireworks displayed at the night sky.
The sound was too loud that he found himself waking up from his house's living hall.
His eyes were wide open and it was still evening. The dream felt too real. Had he been sleeping for all this time?
"Yoshimune? Are you awake?"
He turned around and he saw his father standing at the dining room. Ieyasu was already wearing his yukata and he did not see his mother or Sayuri around.
"Father, where is mother? And Sayuri?"
"Oh, they already went to the shrine. Your mother wanted to wake you up but she noticed that you've been sleeping soundly. Shall we go and join them?"
He hastily nodded his head and he went to change his clothes. Both of them started to walk to the shrine along with other people. Yoshimune had decided to think that it was a dream and he had to admit that it was one of the most wonderful dreams he ever had.
He probably wanted to ask his father if he could get a little sister.
However, he was highly surprised when he saw something in the shrine's pond.
The two same goldfishes he scooped with the little girl in his dream.
He pinched his cheeks to make sure that he was not dreaming but it did not work. He recognised those goldfishes well. Could it be-
"Yoshi!! The fireworks show is about to start!!"
Sayuri was shouting for him and he had to leave to join his family. He apologised to her and when she was still pouting angrily, he snickered as he pinched her cheeks.
"Don't be angry, I'll get your favourite snack for you to eat as an apology."
"You will?"
"Yes, I will."
"Hey, Yoshimune. How about buying some for me and your mother?"
"F-father!"
They soon watched the colourful fireworks together with the Asari family and other people. Yoshimune secretly hoped that the girl, too watching the fireworks show with her parents and her friends.
"If we meet one day, let us play again, together."

Gratsu Weekend 2020 Prompt: Joke Pairing(s): Gray x Natsu, Lyon x Loke, Sting x Rogue, Gildarts & Loke, Natsu & Sting, Gray & Lyon, Rogue & Gray Rating: M A Collaboration by @mdelpin and @oryu404
AO3 | FF.Net | Takes place after I Like You Too, Dumbass
June 12, 2021
Gray picked up his phone, surprised to see Natsu was calling him so early, “Hey, you’re on break already?”
“Nope, turns out I have the night off. A water pipe burst, and they had to close Fairy Tail down until it’s fixed. Uhm, Mira and Erza already took the kids somewhere, did you wanna maybe come over?”
Gray stared at the phone with a smile, thinking how cute Natsu sounded when he was unsure. He was about to say yes when he remembered he already had plans.
“I can’t, pain in the ass Loke was waiting for a night when both me and Sting were free to do his housewarming party, but you’re welcome to come with me if you want. You’ll know everyone, and I’m sure Loke would love for you to be there.”
There was silence on the other line, and Gray decided to push a little, “Live a little, how often do you get a night off?”
“To spend around drunk people?”
“Yeah, I’m not even gonna try to lie, you know they’re all getting plastered. Doesn’t mean it won’t be fun, though. Come on, if you hate it we can leave after an hour or so, I want to see you too.”
“Fine, but you’re driving,” Natsu demanded.
“You do realize Loke lives in this building now?” Gray pointed out.
Silence.
“Fine, I’ll come pick you up. I have to drop Aki off with my parents anyway,” he said, mostly for Lyon’s benefit. Not that it mattered, he was already laughing at him, swishing an imaginary whip in the air even as Gray flipped him off.
He hung up, turning on Lyon, “Keep it up, and I’ll just go out on a date and leave you to go to Loke’s alone.
“You wouldn’t do that, you already promised you’d go,” Lyon smirked.
“Every single one of you guys sucks,” Gray complained, grabbing his keys and wallet and going into his room to check that all of Aki’s things were packed.
“Too bad you’re dating someone who won’t,” Lyon called after him, and Gray could hear the ice moving around in his tumbler as he took a drink.
“That was rude! Starting early?”
“I’m spending an entire night at Loke’s place, what do you expect?” Lyon retorted, and although he sounded irritated, it was nowhere near his usual levels.
“Spending the night already?” Gray teased, getting a dig in while he could.
“What?! No!” Lyon protested, but Gray couldn’t help but notice that his face had changed colors at the implication, and he laughed.
“Interesting. You are much gayer than I ever gave you credit for.”
“Fuck you!”
“Sorry, taken.” Gray winked, going back into his room to grab the overnight bag and pick his sleeping child up in his arms. Now that Natsu was coming as his date to this stupid party, his night was definitely looking up.
Lyon had already opened the door for him, walking him to the elevator to help him with the buttons. “Come get me when you guys get here,” Lyon whispered, being mindful of Aki.
Gray nodded, waving as the elevator doors closed.
0-0
Gray could already smell the alcohol when Loke greeted them and let them in, although he didn’t show any signs of being tipsy yet. He did, however, pull Lyon into one of the most awkward hugs Gray had ever seen.
“It’s good to see you guys, glad you could make it!” Loke grinned, “Welcome to the lion’s den!”
He waved them inside, ignoring the way Lyon rolled his eyes, and Natsu let out a loud snort. Gray could only smile. As ridiculous as the name sounded, he could imagine Loke must be happy to have his own place now that all the shit he’d been through surrounding his marriage and divorce was in the past. And the place looked great, it had the same layout as Lyon’s apartment, but a different interior.
Sting, Rogue, and Gildarts were sitting on the sofas, already provided with drinks. They paused their conversation when they saw Gray, Natsu and Lyon come in, Sting’s face lighting up immediately when he noticed his best friend.
“Hey! I didn’t think we’d be seeing you tonight, aren’t you supposed to be at work?” he wondered.
“Nah, I got the night off cause of a burst pipe,” Natsu explained, looking around the room curiously, “Nice place you got here, Loke.”
“Thanks! Make yourselves at home, can I pour you a drink?”
“You know what?” Natsu remarked as he found a seat next to Sting, “That sounds awesome! It’s usually me who’s making the drinks, it’s nice to have it the other way around for once.”
“Don’t get used to it, I’ll give you the first round, but it’s all self-service after that.” Loke opened a cabinet, revealing a considerable collection of alcoholic beverages, all stored on the top shelves where his kids wouldn’t be able to reach. “Take your pick.”
“Anything is fine, uhm, how about a Rum and Coke?”
“Seriously?” Loke asked, looking disappointed but putting the drink together nonetheless, “You make all these amazing drinks, and that’s all you want?”
Natsu shrugged, “Just cause I make them doesn’t mean I want them, you’d be surprised how often I get the same lame jokes and come-ons from people using drink names. Bachelor and bachelorette parties are the worst!”
“Wait, what?!” Loke exclaimed, eyes glittering with interest, “What types of stuff do they ask for?”
“Well, one time I was at Crime Sorciere, Lyon’s ex asked Natsu for a Naked Lady,” Gray added helpfully, smirking at Lyon’s annoyed expression when he brought her up.
“That doesn’t sound that wild, Gray,” Rogue muttered.
“No, it was, she was like,” Gray imitated Juvia’s voice warming up to his performance once they started laughing, “Juvia would like a Naked Lady, unless you would like one instead.”
“That’s nothing, I’ve had people ask me for,” Natsu stopped to think for a minute, counting the drinks off on his fingers, “Red-headed Sluts, Cocksucking Cowboys, Creamy Pussies, Ass, Golden Showers-”
“There’s a drink that’s named Ass?” Sting burst out in laughter, “Now I’m curious, can you make it with what Loke has?”
“Come on, McDreamy,” Gildarts chuckled, “don’t tell me you’ve never tasted Ass before. Actually, on second thought, don’t answer that. I don’t want to know what the Half Pint gets up to in that department.”
“What makes you think it would have been Rogue?” Sting challenged, making Gray wonder how much he’d already had to drink.”
“Please! I’d bet 10 million jewel that you were each other’s firsts.”
The sheepish glance that passed between the two men was enough to send everyone else off into a fit of giggles.
“Well, it’s not like you have that kind of money anyway,” Sting grumbled.
“Who cares? There’s nothing wrong with that, Lisanna and I were each other’s firsts,” Natsu shrugged, coming to their defense. He sipped his drink calmly, receiving a beaming smile from Sting. “I think it’s romantic.”
“Fun fact,” Rogue smirked suggestively at the edge of his glass, “remember that double date we had in Edolas?”
Natsu squinted as he recalled the event, flashing a wide grin at Sting when he put two and two together. “Really?! Did my advice motivate you that much?”
Sting didn’t respond, only offered his fist so Natsu could bump it.
“And today, on ‘Too Much Information’... “Gray sighed, regretting opening his mouth the second he noticed the mischief in his brother’s eyes.
“I still remember the exact date, it was on your birthday.” Rogue had trouble holding back his laughter.
“Well, at least someone had fun that day,” Gray shrugged in response, sitting next to Natsu and grabbing his hand. “Just tell me it wasn’t on my bed.”
“Yes, Gray, I totally brought your bed over to Edolas.”
“Hey, it’s a comfy bed,” Gray grinned, giving his brother a wink.
“Oh, we know!” Sting retorted, waggling his eyebrows at Gray, “I stayed in your room for months.”
Okay, that bothered him a teensy bit more. “Don’t look at me like that, you look idiotic,” Gray groused.
“Well, this is fun and all, but I get the feeling those two are going to have the least amount of dirt, so why don’t we make things more interesting? We could play a game?” Loke suggested, taking a few bottles of liquor out of the cabinet and placing them on the counter.
His suggestion was received by groans, “A game, really? What are we fourteen?” Lyon asked, frowning as Loke sat down next to him and put his arm around his shoulders.
“A game could be fun,” Gildarts agreed, “You got any shot glasses?”
“I bought some of those plastic ones,” Loke got up and looked through some shopping bags that were on the kitchen counter, returning with a package of red plastic shot glasses and some snacks to replenish the ones that had already been devoured.
Gray could feel Natsu squeezing his hand tightly and turned to see that he looked irritated. “It might not be so bad,” he mouthed. Natsu rolled his eyes in response but loosened his grip.
“Hey, Natsu, can you mix up some shots with this stuff?” Gildarts asked, flashing one of his brilliant smiles, and Gray could only hide his laugh, knowing full well that Natsu couldn’t say no to him.
“Whatever, I got paid for the night, so I might as well work.” He got up and looked at the contents of the liquor cabinet, pulling out bottle after bottle and placing them on the counter with the ones Loke had already set out.
Gray could see they were about to get screwed by the wicked gleam in his boyfriend’s eyes. Natsu had the uncanny ability to make amazingly strong drinks that tasted just like any other, if he wanted to he could make you incredibly drunk in only two drinks, Gray was terrified to think of what he could do with shots. Seeing as he didn’t particularly want to be there, Gray could see him knocking them all out in a few rounds.
“Oh!” Sting bounced on the sofa, “Can you do one of those shots that you set on fire? I’ve always wanted to try one of those!”
“No!” Loke, Gray, and Lyon all yelled out, “No fire!”
“Why do I get the feeling that went horribly wrong one time?” Rogue quipped, laughing at the three men’s expressions.
“Alright, what type of game are you going to play, one where everyone drinks or one with a punishment shot?” Natsu peered at Loke, waiting for a response.
“You’re playing too, aren’t you?” Sting asked.
“I don’t really drink all that much,” Natsu replied, relenting when he saw the disappointment on everyone’s faces, “but I guess I could play a few rounds.”
“Alright, let’s play ‘Never have I ever,’ “Loke suggested, “I assume everyone knows how to play?”
Sting looked confused, and before anyone could explain, Rogue spoke up.
“Never have I ever had a drink called Ass,” Rogue explained, “If you have, you drink. If you haven’t, you don’t. It’s pretty simple.”
Sting nodded his understanding, and no one objected to the idea.
“One where everyone drinks then,” Natsu muttered, starting to mix up shots. He soon placed a small cup in front of everyone and moved the bottles to the coffee table so he could refill them easily.
“Who’s going to start?” Gildarts glanced at the other men expectantly.
“I suppose Loke should, it’s his party after all,” Lyon suggested, and the others agreed.
“Hmm, let’s see, never have I ever had sex in a public place,” Loke grinned, looking quite proud of himself as he waited to see who drank and who didn’t.
“Wait,” Rogue objected, hesitating to bring his cup to his lips, “let’s make sure we’re all on the same page when it comes to the definition of sex for the sake of this game.”
Gildarts shrugged and drank anyway, before Loke established, “Anything and everything that has the intention of getting yourself or someone else off.” With delight, he looked on as everyone took their shots, joining them because he didn’t want to fall behind. “I want to hear stories later,” he giggled. “Damn Dragneel, you trying to kill us?”
“If I was trying to kill you, I would have mixed you a different one,” Natsu snarked as he refilled the cups, “Who’s next?”
“Never have I ever asked Lyon for divorce advice,” Lyon smirked.
“Booring,” Gildarts cried out.
“I don’t know, I got exactly who I wanted,” Lyon grinned, watching Gray, Loke, Gildarts, and Rogue drink.
“Rogue? Something I should know?” Sting looked like a kicked puppy, making Rogue glare at Lyon.
“You did that on purpose!” Rogue accused even as he hurried to explain, “I was asking him about Gray’s stuff.”
Gray started to laugh at Gildarts, “You’re not even married yet!”
“Never too early to learn about your options,” Gildarts winked, “I also was asking about yours, though. Targeting is deserving of some punishment, I think. Let’s see,” he spoke ever so innocently, stroking his chin.” Never have I ever had homosexual thoughts about someone in this room.”
Everyone groaned as they grabbed their small cups, but Gildarts seemed to only be interested in Lyon’s response. When a minute had passed, and Lyon made no move to drink, Gray spoke up sweetly, “Hey Natsu, can you make Lyon another shot?”
Rogue began to giggle as Sting looked around in confusion. “What’s going on?”
“If you get caught in a lie, you have to have an extra shot,” Gray explained, still engaging in a staring contest with his roommate.
“I fucking hate you,” Lyon spat before taking both shots and refusing to comment on all the badgering he received about the subject of said thoughts.
Natsu provided more refills, and they waited for Rogue to take his turn.
“Never have I ever had someone walk in when I was performing sexual acts on someone else-” he winked at Lyon before turning to Sting with a smug grin and adding, “or myself.”
“Never have I ever learned how to knock!” Sting snapped, his cheeks flushing with humiliation.
Lyon stared at Gray in disbelief, “I thought you promised never to say anything about that!”
“He didn’t,” Rogue assured him, “Juvia did.”
Rogue had managed to get Gildarts, Lyon, Loke, Sting, and Natsu, leaving him looking quite pleased with himself.
“Okay, my turn,” Sting called excitedly, and it was obvious from the way he gave Rogue the side-eye that he was coming after him in retaliation. “Never have I never lied to make a move on someone!” He cast a look of judgment at his husband.
Gildarts and Loke raised their cups at each other in mutual understanding before downing their shots, while Lyon snickered and made sure that Gray was drinking his.
“You make it sound terrible, it was just a white lie,” Rogue rolled his eyes and drank, blinking slowly as he was hit by the effects of Natsu’s devastating mix.
“Alright, Natsu, you’re off mixing duty. At this rate, we’ll all pass out by the end of the second round,” Loke complained, “Besides, Gildarts and I made a drink earlier, and it should be chilled enough by now.”
Loke went into his kitchen with Gildarts following after him. Gray could hear the two of them laughing about something but paid them no mind. Now that Natsu wasn’t playing bartender, he had nudged him onto his lap and was busy kissing him.
Natsu returned it, parting his lips for more. They’d finally started getting a little bit physical in the last few weeks, and for Gray, it beat any high he’d ever experienced. He knew enough to take it easy, Natsu was still getting used to dating a guy, and Gray didn’t want to scare him away. As far as he was concerned, they had all the time in the world. He kept kissing until he became aware of someone clearing their throat.
“You guys done?” Loke raised an eyebrow, although he was also smiling.
“Nope,” Gray replied, hugging Natsu to his chest and letting go, “Now I am.”
Loke rolled his eyes and muttered “honeymoon period,” under his breath. Gildarts trailed after him setting cups on the table that Loke then filled from the pitcher he was holding.
“What’s so special about this drink?” Lyon grabbed the cup and sniffed it before setting it down, “It better not have something gross in it like a worm or something.”
“It’s not tequila, Lyon,” Loke mocked, “It’s actually called Screaming Orgasm, oh I should have asked, is anyone here lactose intolerant? No? Good.”
Gray could tell Loke was up to something, but he wasn’t sure what, “What’s in it?”
“It’s like you guys don’t trust me, I’m hurt. I told you, Gildarts helped me make it.”
“Yeah, that actually makes me trust it less.”
“Here,” Gildarts poured some in his cup and drank it, “Satisfied, you big baby?”
Gray still had some misgivings, but he kept them to himself. The game continued, and it was now his turn. He tried to think of something that was likely to get everyone.
“Never have I ever been hit on while at work,” Gray poked Natsu playfully, teasing, “Given how often it happens to you, you might want to drink twice, love.”
“In that case, you should probably drink too,” Natsu suggested with a knowing smile.
Gray raised his glass in mock salute and took a drink.
Everyone grabbed their cups full of Loke’s drink and sipped it.
“This is pretty good,” Sting commented, causing Loke and Gildarts to giggle. “I still don’t get this game, is the person who asks supposed to have done the thing or not?” his voice was becoming more slurred with every drink.
“I don’t think it really matters, the goal is to get drunk after all,” Loke pointed out.
“Well, if you’re caught in a lie, you’re meant to take two shots, I think that should apply to the askers too,” Lyon declared.
“Alright, Natsu, you’re up, make it a good one,” Loke encouraged.
Natsu giggled into Gray’s chest, “Uhm, what should I ask?”
Gray shrugged. holding him close and feeling the warmth of his body against his, “Anything you want.”
“Uhm, never have I ever gone to college,” Natsu laughed as he realized he’d just managed to get everyone while still telling the truth.
Everyone groaned but took another drink, and Natsu joined them, agreeing with Sting that the drink tasted good.
“You two are sugar freaks,” Loke shook his head, noticing the growing pile of cupcake and candy wrappers in front of them.
“Okay, my turn,” Loke announced, rubbing his hands together in glee while avoiding looking at Gildarts. “Never have I ever swallowed another guy’s cum.”
Sting, Gray, Rogue, and Gildarts all rolled their eyes at Loke’s infantile antics but drank anyway. Loke, however, wasn’t focused on any of them. His eyes were set on Lyon, who met his eyes with a shrug.
“Well, now you have,” Loke’s laughter rang loud in the otherwise silent room as he dropped a book on the coffee table.
Semenology - The Semen Bartender’s Handbook
“Your faces, oh my god, I want to take a picture,” Gildarts managed through his guffaws.
“The fuck?” Gray got up from his seat and grabbed the book, skimming it quickly.
It took him a moment to think about Natsu. He looked back to the sofa, taking in the way his boyfriend was curled in on himself. Natsu’s eyes were open wide, and while he didn’t precisely look disgusted, he certainly didn’t look pleased either. Gray was furious, especially when he realized Lyon didn’t look much better.
“I call bluff,” Rogue slurred and swayed a little as he grabbed the pitcher for closer inspection, “there’s no cum in this.”
Gildarts quickly came up next to him to sit him back down on the sofa before he lost his balance. “Don’t spill it, there’s top brand liquor in there,” he scolded, putting the pitcher safely back on the table. “No more for you.”
“Is he right, though?” Lyon wondered, begrudgingly trying to focus on the taste in his mouth to determine if it was off in any way.
“Of course he is!” Sting stated confidently, “There’s no way you would’ve mixed your juices in there…” His confidence faltered as he looked back and forth between Loke and Gildarts. “Right?”
“Nah, we were just fucking with you, there’s no spunk in the drink. Loke found the book at some yard sale, and we thought it would make for a funny prank.”
“Well, it was in terrible taste,” Lyon pointed out, snickering when he realized what he’d said.
“Juices?!” Rogue made fun of his husband, “I swear to God I better never hear you saying those words ever again.”
“There are a lot worse ways to say cum,” Sting shrugged, ready to name a few, but Rogue was quick to pounce on him, starting a wrestling match as he tried to stop Sting from yelling obscenities by clapping a hand over his mouth.
“Seriously, have none of you ever heard of the phrase ‘get a room’?” Lyon rolled his eyes. He glanced at Loke, “Well, at least you haven’t completely fallen out of grace...Yet.”
“I’m sorry, guys,” Loke murmured, directing his apologies to Lyon, and to Natsu specifically. He must’ve noticed his less than enthused reaction as well, and looked genuinely regretful. “When we planned this, I didn’t realize you were coming, and you seemed okay with all the other stuff, so I didn’t think you’d be upset.”
Gray was about to add his opinion when Natsu squeezed his arm, “It’s fine, apology accepted. I’ve actually heard of this book, had an older guy request some drink from it once, to which I replied fuck no. Apparently, age is a factor in the taste.”
“Age of the drink? Or the uh…supplier,” Sting wondered, dreading the answer no matter what it was going to be.
“Supplier. That’s why he asked me instead of doing it himself,” Natsu grabbed the book off the table, skimming through it until he came to the appropriate page and showing it to Sting, who cringed and began flipping pages warily.
“I don’t know if I should be impressed by...whoever the fuck thought all this shit up, or just plain disgusted. But this gives a whole new meaning to the word cocktail.”
Natsu laughed and relaxed again, but Gray knew that despite the way he had acted in front of the others, he was feeling uncomfortable. He hadn’t exactly been looking forward to coming to Loke’s party in the first place, and honestly, neither had Gray. He’d much rather have spent tonight with just the two of them, the ill-advised prank had only reinforced that thought.
“Oh please,” Loke scoffed at Sting, showing his usual mischievous demeanor again. “Don’t tell me you’re not at least a little bit curious as to how it tastes!”
Sting considered it for a moment, chewing at his bottom lip. “Nah, I’m pretty sure those flavors don’t go together.”
“You don’t know that if you don’t try,” Loke challenged, filling another cup with the liquor from the pitcher, raising an eyebrow as he offered it to Sting.
“Why don’t you try it?” Rogue narrowed his eyes at Loke, saving Sting from the potential peer pressure, “It’s your party, your book, and it was your prank.”
Everyone awaited Loke’s response expectantly. Gildarts was practically on the edge of his seat, eyes twinkling with merriment as he watched the situation unfold. Lyon was pressing his lips together to hide a smirk of satisfaction, Sting was holding his breath, stuck between Rogue and Loke’s staredown.
“Fine,” Loke offered a bitter smile, refusing to back down, “be right back,” and he disappeared into the bathroom under the sound of Gildarts’ hysterical laughter.
“Man, did that backfire on him!” he wheezed, slapping his knee in enjoyment. “Nice save, Half Pint! McDreamy owes you a special thank you later!”
Rogue was already flushed from the alcohol intake but turned a shade darker, yelling something about inappropriate comments and family connections to Gildarts, but Gray tuned it out.
This was his cue to leave, he wasn’t about to stick around for more embarrassing conversations and watching Loke drink the cursed mix of liquor and his own bodily fluids, and he doubted that Natsu would want to stay any longer than he already had.
“Oh look, it’s bail ‘o clock,” he quipped, getting up and pulling Natsu along with him as he looked at his wrist. “We really should go.”
Natsu smiled at him gratefully, lacing their fingers together and waving at their friends, “Night guys, get home safely!”
Gray looked at Lyon, raising his eyebrows in question, wanting to know if he was coming or not. Lyon made himself comfortable on the sofa, with his arms and legs crossed. It was clear that he’d be staying a little longer.
“I’ll see you later, there’s no way I’m missing this.” The grin on his face told Gray that he was never going to let Loke live this down.
0-0
“Shall I call you a cab?” Gray asked as they waited for the elevator, “Someone made the drinks too strong, so I can’t drive you home.” He grabbed his phone and noticed the time, it was still early, and he didn’t like the idea of being all by himself in Lyon’s apartment, so he added, “Or we can hang out at my place for a while before you go?”
Once he’d spoken the words, he realized how it must’ve sounded after all the drinking and the sex-related topics, not to mention they’d be having the apartment all to themselves. No kids, no Erza or Lyon. He wanted to set the record straight, tell Natsu that his intentions weren’t anything like that, but to his surprise, Natsu agreed.
“Sure, I wouldn’t have been home yet if I’d been working anyway. And I did call to ask if you wanted to hang out earlier.”
“Right.”
The elevator arrived, and they got in. Gray pressed the button to the correct floor, trying to keep his thoughts from straying in the wrong direction. “Crazy night, huh?” he chuckled, wanting to break the silence between them, “how many cupcakes did you end up eating?”
“Hey, those were good!” Natsu defended himself.
“Really? I wouldn’t know, you and Sting claimed them all.”
Natsu smirked, “You snooze, you lose.”
They arrived at the apartment, stepping into the dark hallway after Gray had overcome his nervous struggle with the keys. He flicked on the lights and took off his shoes, moving out of the way so Natsu could do the same.
“Hey, do you mind if I use the restroom?” Natsu called out from behind him, still taking off his shoes.
“You know where it is,” Gray shrugged, walking into the living room and sitting on the sofa as he waited for Natsu to return.
His thoughts were inevitably moving to how he was going to handle this situation without fucking things up between them. Should they watch TV? That was kind of lame, considering they seldom got to spend any kind of time alone together, but then again, they’d talked about going slow. He could feel his brow furrowing as his thoughts continued to fight between what he would like and what he should do.
“You know if you keep making that face, it might stay that way,” Natsu grinned, plopping himself on the sofa next to him and grabbing his hand.
“Did you manage to have any fun at that party?” Gray wondered, “That was low even for Loke.”
“I did,” Natsu murmured, “I especially liked this part.”
Natsu climbed on Gray’s lap sitting as he had before, and Gray put his arms around him slowly, but unlike at the party, his body was tense.
He could hear Natsu laughing softly, “Hey, moron, stop that.”
Gray turned towards him, wanting to explain himself, but Natsu put a finger on his lips. “I know I’m not ready for a lot, but I like where we are, and if you do something I’m not ready for, I’ll tell you, alright?”
Gray nodded his approval, and he soon felt the soft brush of Natsu’s lips against his. He relaxed, returning the touch until once again, they were immersed in a world of soft sighs and caresses.
It probably wouldn’t be long before Lyon would return and interrupt their moment of bliss, and with Natsu’s words on his mind, Gray wanted to make sure they enjoyed it to the fullest while it lasted.
A/N: In case you were wondering, that book actually exists. We've skimmed it, unfortunately, because we now possess knowledge we cannot unlearn. But hey, to each their own, if you find your alcoholic beverages lacking in protein, it's a natural and somewhat easily accessible option.

Hi , I really love all your fics you guys are awesome with the ot4 i love it .. uhm do you still take requests? I really want a fic about natsu’s struggle with his father... i love reading angst hurt/comfort fics
hey! thank you for the request ^-^ i wasn’t able to have the fic actually include sanjay (a bit of my own issues with my dad, projecting onto our favorite characters, etc etc) but this is all about their relationship.
it’s set a few months after the car accident in if you believe in love, you’re always alive, so natsu is still recovering from the accident.
father of mine (tell me how do you sleep)
Sting yawned, nudging open the front door of the apartment with his shoulder and kicking off his shoes. Natsu’s pink hair was just visible over the edge of the couch, but he didn’t look up at the sound.
“Hey, love,” Sting said, shifting the groceries in his arms and moving into the kitchen to set them down on the counter. “How’re you feeling?”
It had been almost two months since the accident, and Natsu was… well, recovering. Mostly. He’d been home for nearly three weeks now, and while it was mostly going well, Sting still felt like he was tiptoeing around something that could easily be shattered.
“Okay.” Natsu didn’t look up from the laptop that was balanced precariously on his knees.
“Did Rogue just leave for work?” Sting opened the fridge and started putting the food away while studying Natsu carefully.
“Mm. A few…” Natsu hesitated. “Times,” he said after a second. “Not the long, just… the hands?” He still didn’t look up, and Sting could hear the frustration in his voice.
“Minutes?” Sting suggested gently. Natsu nodded, rubbing his eyes and then returning to whatever he was doing on the laptop.

Sting sighed, folding up the grocery bags and setting them back by the front door before slowly approaching the couch. He could hear Natsu mumbling something under his breath, and when Sting got closer, he realized Natsu was reading something on the laptop screen and trying to sound out the words. It didn’t sound familiar, and it took Sting a second to realize that he was speaking Hindi.
“What’s that?” he asked, gesturing at the screen and settling down on the couch next to Natsu. Natsu didn’t answer at first, just tipped his head against Sting’s and ran his fingers over the edge of the keyboard.
“E-mail,” he said eventually. “I’m trying to read it, but… the words…” He huffed.
Sting wrapped his arm around Natsu’s shoulders and kissed his temple. “Who’s it from?” Natsu shook his head, shifting closer to Sting and then wincing. “Is your hip okay?” Sting asked, frowning.
“Yeah,” Natsu said, humming as Sting’s fingers started to move up his shoulder and into his hair. “Rogue took me to physio today.” He gestured at his leg, where the scar from his surgery stretched down his thigh.
“How’d it go?”
“Hurt.” Natsu tipped his head forward to Sting could comb out the knots in the back of his hair, sighing at the sensation. “’s okay now.”
They sat like that for a few minutes, and eventually the cats all meandered out of the bedroom and joined them on the couch. Happy meowed at Natsu, putting both paws on his arm and headbutting his shoulder.
“Hey, buddy,” Natsu said softly, scratching behind Happy’s ears. Then he tipped his head back against Sting’s shoulder and looked back down at the laptop. “I can’t do it.”
“Can’t do what?” Sting asked.
“Read it.” Sting’s heart ached at the tight lines of frustration that appeared on Natsu’s face. “It’s… the words are all wrong. Not like before, not the…” He trailed off, waving his hand vaguely.
“Dyslexia?” Sting suggested.
Natsu nodded. “It’s not mixed up,” he mumbled. “It’s… the letters don’t make sense. Like with the words, and I say things, and you say things, and they’re… my brain makes them wrong.”
Sting pulled Natsu tighter against him. “I’m sorry,” he said gently. “I wish I could make it better.”
“I know the words,” Natsu insisted. “I know it, and I can… it’s there, but it doesn’t make sense, and I can’t…” His voice caught on the last word and he turned, pressing his face to Sting’s shoulder. “I hate it.”
“I know, sweetheart,” Sting murmured, taking the laptop and setting it down on the coffee table, then shifting so he could pull Natsu into his arms. “I can’t imagine how frustrating it must be.”
“Everything is,” Natsu mumbled, curling up against Sting. “It hurts, and I hate… the…” He gestured to his face, where the broken glass of the windshield had left several thin, white scars. “I can’t—and Gray is sad, and I want to make it… I want to… I… fuck!” He growled, gripping Sting’s sweater tightly. “Fucking… fuck. Stupid, I hate it.”
His shoulders started to shake, and Sting realized he was crying in earnest now, trying to hold in the aching sounds that were desperately trying to escape. Sting could feel his own tears starting to appear, but he bit his lip to hold them back. This wasn’t about him.
“I’m so sorry,” he whispered, continuing to run his hand through Natsu’s hair while holding him close. “This whole thing sucks, and none of it’s fair, and you’re allowed to feel whatever way you want to feel.”
“I’m angry,” Natsu managed through the tears. “I don’t want to be.”
“I know,” Sting reassured him. “I know you don’t, but sometimes you just have to let yourself feel the shitty things.”
Natsu sniffed, rubbing at his face with the back of his hand and letting out a wet laugh when Frosche appeared, wriggling until she was between Sting and Natsu. She leaned in and started to lick Natsu’s hair, putting a paw on his head to hold him still.
“We’re all here for you,” Sting said as Natsu stilled, letting Frosche groom him. “I know it’s hard for you to see Gray hurting, too, but his guilt isn’t on you. He’s dealing with that with his therapist, and you can’t shoulder that responsibility.”
“I know,” Natsu said softly.
They were both quiet for a while, and when Frosche was satisfied that Natsu’s hair was clean, she moved up to Sting, climbing onto his shoulder and starting over again. Natsu’s sniffles petered out into occasional hiccups, and eventually his breathing matched Sting’s, soft and even.
“It’s from my dad,” Natsu said after a while. “The e-mail.” Sting tensed and Natsu must have felt it because he tipped his head back until they were looking at each other. “He was mean to you.” It was more of a statement than a question.
Sting hesitated, not quite meeting Natsu’s eyes. His interactions with Sanjay had been tense at best, and outright hostile at worst. Sting still couldn’t get the image out of his head of Gray yelling at Sanjay, tears in his eyes as he defended Sting and demanded an apology that would never be given.
“I don’t want to… he’s your dad.”
Natsu shook his head. “He’s a jerk.” He looked between Sting and the laptop. “What did he say?”
“Natsu,” Sting said gently, but Natsu squeezed his hand, giving him an insistent look. Sting sighed. “He told me to leave and said that our relationship – all of us – was unnatural. Gray got really angry at him and told him to apologize or leave… he wouldn’t, but your mom did. We didn’t see him again after that; I think Igneel made sure we weren’t ever there are the same time.”
“Fuck,” Natsu whispered. “I haven’t… haven’t, um… the words? Saying…”
“Talked to him?”
Natsu nodded. “Not since he went home.”
Maya had stayed for a week after Natsu woke up, helping the four of them with groceries and cooking and making sure everyone was well taken care of. Gray had been uncertain around her, but Sting had tried his best to make her feel welcome after her change of heart.
Sanjay, on the other hand, had left a few days after Natsu had woken up, and apparently hadn’t spoken to Natsu since then.
“When did he e-mail you?” Sting asked.
Natsu held up two fingers. “Days ago,” he added. He chewed on his lip. “Maybe it’s better… if I can’t?”
“You don’t want to read it?”
“I don’t know.”
“You don’t have to decide right now.”
“I know.”
They sat in silence for a little bit, and eventually Natsu leaned over and closed the laptop. Then he squeezed Sting’s hands and tipped his head toward the kitchen.
“Supper?”
~
“Are you busy?”
Gray looked up from his book at Natsu’s question, frowning at the uncertain look on Natsu’s face. He was standing in the doorway to the bedroom, looking down at the floor and playing with a small fidget cube in his left hand.
“Of course not,” Gray said, putting his book down and gesturing for Natsu to come sit next to him on the bed. “You need a hand?”
“’m okay,” Natsu said, shaking his head as he managed the few steps to the bed. He shuffled until he was lying down next to Gray, who wrapped and arm around him and pulled him close.
“What’s up?” Gray asked gently. “How was lunch with Erza?”
“Okay,” Natsu said. “She helped me read the… words. On the laptop, from pita.”
“The e-mail?” Natsu nodded against Gray’s chest. “Do you wanna talk about it?”
“I dunno.”
“Not good?” Gray guessed.
Natsu shook his head. “I hate him.” Gray’s heart ached at the words – quiet and laced with disappointment and defeat. “He’s mean. To you, and to Sting and Rogue… to me.” He took a shaky breath. “I don’t understand. He… why doesn’t he want me to be… good? Smiles?”
“Happy.”
“Yeah.” The resigned tone of Natsu’s voice made Gray feel like crying. “I was… I thought…” Natsu paused, taking a deep breath to try and make it easier to find the words. “I almost died.” Gray tried his best not to tense up at the statement. “I thought he might realize that I’m… not special, the other one?”
“Important?”
Natsu nodded against Gray’s chest. “He’s supposed to love me.”
Gray pressed his face to Natsu’s hair and held him closer. “I think he does love you,” he said carefully. “He’s just…”
“An asshole.” Natsu sighed, then added, “Sting told me.”
“Told you what?”
“That you told my dad to apologize.” Gray’s cheeks flushed with embarrassment as he recalled the outburst. “I’m sorry he was… wasn’t nice. Mean.”
“It’s okay,” Gray reassured him. “Nobody blames you. We were all scared.”
“’s not an excuse,” Natsu insisted. “He was a… he’s always… to you, and then now, with everyone…” He huffed in frustration, then leaned back and looked at Gray. “Can we go visit mom and dad?”

Rogue drove out to Silver and Mika’s. They took the long way – meandering through the countryside and avoiding the bridge where the accident had happened altogether. Gray napped in the back seat most of the way; drowsy from the anxiety medication with his head in Natsu’s lap.
“You okay?” Rogue asked, glancing back at Natsu in the rearview mirror.
“Mm.” Natsu looked back from where he’d been gazing out the window at the trees. “It’s not as bad for me. I don’t remember.”
Everything about the day of the accident was blurry, and the last thing Natsu remembered was leaving Silver and Mika’s. Even the half hour or so of driving before the accident was gone. Gray, on the other hand, had seen everything happen, and had still been mostly conscious when the paramedics arrived. Natsu had sat up with him after several nightmares, kissing his forehead and reassuring him that he was safe and alive.
“We’re here, love,” Natsu murmured gently when they finally pulled into Silver and Mika’s driveway. Gray grumbled at him, yawning and rubbing his face before sitting up slowly. “Sleep okay?”
“Mm.” Gray stretched and looked out the window. “That was quick.”
“You did sleep for four hours,” Rogue said as he got out of the car and moved over to the rear door. “Are you gonna use the crutches, or be a stubborn asshole?” The question was directed at Natsu, who made a face at him.
“Stubborn asshole,” he said, grinning when Rogue rolled his eyes and held out an arm to help Natsu to his feet. “Love you, babe.” Rogue flicked him on the forehead.
“Bonjour!” Mika waved at the four of them from the open from door and kissed each of them on the cheek as they made their way into the house. Natsu could hear her asking Gray something softly in French, and he was content to see Gray give her a genuine smile and hug her tightly. It was slow going, but he was getting better.
“Hey, it’s my favorite boys!” Silver appeared in the doorway to the kitchen with a wide smile on his face. “How was the drive?”
The sight of Silver made something crumple in Natsu’s chest and he nearly burst into tears. The ache that had been dragging him down all week slowly dissolved, and before he could think he was across the room, hugging Silver tightly.
“Natsu?” Silver’s voice sounded confused, but Natsu heard Rogue gently say his dad, and then Silver’s arms were around his shoulders, holding him close. “I love you, son,” Silver said gently.
Natsu didn’t realize he was crying until the front of Silver’s shirt started to grow wet, but once he started, he couldn’t stop. “I’m sorry,” he mumbled through the tears. “’s stupid.”
“Don’t apologize,” Silver said gently, voice rumbling against Natsu as he hugged him tighter. Another set of hands brushed through Natsu’s hair – Mika – and she pressed a kiss to his temple, then joined the embrace. “Family isn’t always the people who raised you,” Silver said. “And all of you will always be our sons.”
Natsu sniffed, hugging Silver tighter as he tried to push away his dad’s words from earlier in the week.
It’s not normal. I’m disappointed in you. I cannot accept this.
“You will always be welcome here,” Mika said, pulling the other three into the embrace as well. The tension in Natsu’s body slowly faded away in the circle of all the people who loved him.
“Thank you,” he said quietly, eventually pulling away from Silver and wiping at his face. Even though he could hear Sting sniffling behind him too, Natsu’s tears were still joined by an embarrassed flush in his cheeks. “I love you too.” He hesitated, then added, “Dad.”
Silver squeezed his arm and Mika kissed his cheek, and then Gray’s arm was around Natsu’s waist, holding him up just as his hip began to throb. “Come sit down,” Gray said gently.
The stubborn part of Natsu was tempted to argue that he was fine, he didn’t need help, nothing hurt. But then he looked at Gray – at the man who had come into his life and given him a home, who had dragged Natsu into his family when Natsu needed it most.
“Okay,” he said softly, leaning in and kissing Gray’s cheek. “Thank you for taking care of me.”
Gray raised an eyebrow at him. “Are you sure you didn’t take a double dose of painkillers earlier?”
“Nope.” Natsu gave him a soft smile. “Just love you.”
Watching the redness creep up the back of Gray’s neck was incredibly gratifying. Natsu looked up at Silver again, nodding thanks again before letting Gray help him over to the couch.
“Now,” Silver said, grinning and gesturing to the barbeque on the back deck. “Who’s ready for dinner?”

heyyyy lovely! it's me again~☆ since I'm getting pretty excited with fairy tail atm (although I'm gonna be really sad when it finishes airing) I was wondering if you could pretty please do platonic headcanons between gray and lucy? I like their relationship as it is in the show a lot but I just wish I got to see more of it~~ 💖 you're doing such an awesome job with the blog! have a lovely day~~~☆♡
Hey lovely! Thank you so much for the request, and for the sweet words!! Just an FYI, I don't usually do character x character pieces (which totally isn’t your fault, btw. I went back and looked at my Guidelines, and I didn’t explicitly say I only did character x reader, so that’s on me!!) Since you were so overwhelmingly polite and kind, I'm going to make an exception just this once! 🙂 Just for future reference, I only do character x reader, and I’ve amended my Guidelines to show that very clearly. Hope you enjoy!!
_______________________________________________
Gray and Lucy are one of my favorite friendships in Fairy Tail, to be honest. I've loved it since day one, and as you mentioned, I don't think we got to see nearly enough of it!
Even from what we got to see, they were always with Natsu and Erza or the other guild members. However, I'll be expanding upon what little we've seen, so keep in mind that this is my interpretation lol.
Honestly, Gray's a real sweetheart when he wants to be. Like Natsu, he's got a lot of passion for magic and Fairy Tail, and sometimes (cough cough MANY times) that boils over. But when it's all said and done, Gray just loves his guild and the members that make it up. That includes Lucy.
Their friendship is built on mutual trust and companionship. Ever since Lucy joined the guild, she and Gray have been comrades. I can definitely see them getting along extremely well, even to the point where Natsu comments on it.
And you know if that boy takes time to notice something, it's definitely a thing. Dude's got a head full of rocks sometimes (jk jk I love you, Natsu!)
I don't see it ever being romantic. At all. That would be weird. Instead, I see them as more brother and sister.
Lucy is a kindhearted person, and she cares deeply for Fairy Tail. They're her family. While she didn't grow up in the guild like many of the others or come into their ranks at a young age like Gray, she's become so attached to them.
Because they both have a deep and emotional side, I can see Gray and Lucy spending a lot of time together outside of their jobs or other guild activities. I mean, the gang's always at Lucy's house anyway, but I see Lucy being the one to actually invite Gray over from time to time. They talk about anything and everything, even offering each other advice when needed.
Don't get me wrong: these two can brawl it out, too. Seeing a Celestial Wizard take on an Ice Wizard in a training duel? Um, yes, please! I can't even imagine how awesome that would be. Gray versus Lucy: the match of the century. Definitely an event worth selling tickets for!
I also see them being very willing to razz the other for just about anything. Playful bickering and snide comments about each other? 100% yes! Playing pranks on each other and messing around constantly? Absolutely! While they are kind and considerate to each other, what’s a sibling-like relationship without a little heckling?
Just like everyone else at the Fairy Tail Guild, Gray and Lucy have had to face hardships as well. There's hardly a time when they're not having to save the world from some crazy Wizard or maniacal magic cult or even the Magic Counsel. They both carry the weight of their parents and guardians with them, and both have lost a lot.
Because of this, Gray and Lucy lean on each other a lot for support, both in battle and outside it. As does everyone in Fairy Tail, actually, but I really see these two as being very sibling-like. Their attitude is very much, "I can talk crap about them all day long. I can fight them any time I want. I can pick on them and prank them day in and day out. But the moment you talk bad about them or try to hurt them or make them cry? You're going down, buddy!"
I don't know, I just really love their friendship, and I'm really sad it's always glossed over! I mean, sure, we get bits and pieces here and there, but I would have loved to see more of Gray and Lucy together, even if it was just a little more than what we got.
