I see you there.
You're doom scrolling again, right?
Things will get better, I know it will. It comes in waves, it's only a matter of time before the tide crashes on the sea floor and to a standstill again.
Take a break, please.

How might one deal with this impediment, i wonder. Do i suppose myself as a victim or a culprit. Perhaps a human, or a child who grew a bit early or maybe an adult who forgot to age with the years. Which is seemingly more malovalent, i am unable to discern. I wish for the memorandum concerning poised steadiness in leading a life to arrive at my doorstep. Then, i believe, i would be aware of the differences that bludgeon me to make the perfect choice. The skin feels more foreign in comparison to the pieces of clothes I put on. The heat of my self absorbed nature might fail to ignite but the marks remaining on others provides attesting enough.

“Don't waste the rest of your time here worrying about other people - unless it affects the common good. It will keep you from doing anything useful. You'll be too preoccupied with what so - and - so is doing, and why, and what they're saying, and what they're thinking, and what they're up to, and all the other things that throw you off and keep you from focusing on your own mind.” by Marcus Aurelius
The Stoic

In shadows cast by memories, I roam, A ghost to you, forgotten in your mind's roam. Once intertwined, now strangers pass unseen, Your gaze, a void, where love once keen. Yet, in this silent rift, I find my grace, Released from chains of a forgotten embrace. Farewell, my love, in forgetting, you find freedom's embrace.

Guys I'm making a headspace any suggestions on like rooms or things to have in it when I eventually put the effort into actually making it
So far I got like, arcade with that cool carper, sex room, and library w/ pool (the books r waterproof but also since they exist in my mind I imagine they probably can't really be read easily). Actually, add on to that, since it's supposed to be quiet study room another pool room that's chaotic pool party room. Fuck yes. I am being fr please give me suggestions

I've only now just realised how much video games have been a part of my life. Ever since I first put a black cartridge into a mega drive and watched as Sonic appeared on a gray CRT tv there's always been a game within reach. A way to take a break from the world and enter a fantasy where I was a town mayor, a roman general or some space pilot. It's hard to think of a moment when I wasn't playing video games. 10 years ago I was sitting in the same place as I am now, in front of a computer screen. The kit was a bit different then, still had a CRT monitor and a mouse with a ball in it but gaming all the same. And nothings really changed has it? I'm still here, in the same place doing the same things.
Don't get me wrong, this isn't a hate thread about how games aren't as good as they used to be or anything like that but I do think that I might have overdone it over the years. I'm sure we all had that moment when we've stayed up all night exploring Fallout: New Vegas and suddenly realising that it's 6am and we should have been asleep hours ago. But what about the rest of the time? Was spending all day on it better? Was it worth it? Staying inside focused on games at the expense of everything else?
It's easy to say 'it's the autism and all the other mental stuff' as a way to explain it away but even so I don't think it was healthy spending almost all my time on video games. I never bothered to ask what else was there to do because I wasn't interested. I suppose it was a simple existence, being given a task to do and seeing it through to the end.
And that brings us to today. I want to widen my horizons because I've seen too many games and they are a bit samey these days. They don't excite me the way they used to and I want to try new things. So what else is there to do for someone who doesn't have much going on in their area. What can I do in front of a computer that isn't a game?
I need new digital hobbies and I would welcome suggestions

Good evening everyone, I'm back after a year (or so) hiatus.
Did you miss me? I mean, especially after what happened with Covid/Pandemic lockdown/post-covid living, surely someone's looking for some positivity and/or advice. Well, i'm happy to say that i'll be doing just that!
Also I'm going by a new name, K. My inbox will be open for anyone to ask questions, advice, or just some banter. Before I get back fully into the swing of things, just know that no matter what the world may have thrown at you, You're incredible for being alive. Thank you for sticking around. I hope one day you'll smile at your reflection [again].

I saw something that said “a 3% increase in your salary every year does not (fucking) mean anything when inflation is at a whopping 8%”
