I really love your hazbin chibis. Do you take requests for them too? If yes, do you have any restrictions for the characters you'd draw? I like the Vees (except Valentino), but I understand if you don't want to do them. Anyways have a great day!
Thank you! ❤️ You’re so sweet! Yes! I do take requests and no I don’t have restrictions
(As long as I can draw them and they look decent in my opinion, I’m not always great at drawing non-humanoid characters..)
But! I’m guessing you’re asking because the Vees typically seem to be viewed negatively. But! I’m not here to judge characters or judge people for their favorite characters. I’m here to draw Chibi’s of your favorite characters and hopefully brighten your day a little ❤️
I’ll draw them next ✨ I’ll draw Velvette first then get to Vox, (If you have a specific pose or something in mind let me know, otherwise I just kind of draw characters in whatever way I find cute/fun)
Thanks again and have a lovely day! ✨

How to explain to someone why you unfollowed/blocked/curated your dash . . .
Don't. Because it's your blog.
Your little corner in the world. While it's important to have and develop the life skills of being able to maintain civility in shared public spaces with say, school and work colleagues, this is fandom.
It's the one area where you can make it as niche as you want to, custom tailored to things that bring you joy. Life and people are hard enough some days, soak up the moments of joy where you can.
You deserve more than to feel miserable as you doom scroll your dash because you're afraid of the repercussions of some stranger on the internet berating you in DMs. Would you do that to someone if the tables were turned? No, so rest in the knowledge that for 99% of others, it's not that deep (for the 1% who would have the gall, report any harassing messages and block).
So, to summarize: do what works for you and your mental health. Whatever allows you to enjoy your fandom experience the most. And connect with people who are into the same niche things you are.
May fandom bring you joy again ❤️

Listen, it is not our job to make it harder for anyone than it already is, life is difficult enough
This teaching is to simplify, clarify, and embrace the beauty of life

So apparently there’s some crazy shit going on with ao3 from a while back and the site is, unfortunately, a fucking mess. I’m looking into migrating works to Dreamwidth maybe, or cross-posting between both sites? Idk yet, this info is very new and sad to me

It's incomprehensible for me how a person who says they lover another person with addiction issues can stay with that person not as a support for them to get better but as enablers of said addiction. I get not wanting to see them suffer, but healing is not a painless process. I would rather just not be there than knowing I am causing even more damage, and making even more difficult for that person to heal in the future. Idk, maybe I'm the only one to think like that.

Having a crush literally sucks. Like why does my type have to be nice people. I wish I liked people who were mean, cause then I'd at least know they liked me. But no, the person I like is literally nice to everyone and that's why I like them so much, but I dont think they like me. They're just being nice

Publishing has always been a fucking nightmare, but now it’s a layer of hell. It’s not enough that writers be good at what they do. Writers have to maintain an active social media presence and cultivate a following. Be available.
They have to be conventionally attractive enough to look good enough to see on a screen, aesthetically pleasing, kind, funny, up-to-date on trends, socially aware but not so controversial that they turn off a brand from California from slapping their discount code on a video promoting a book.
They have to do all of this with no media training, with little help from the companies that are supposed to be doing this for them.
Of course, a lot of this isn't possible for say, the 40-something mother of two who teaches English at a school and writes on the side. She’s boxed out of an already complex industry that already has enough walls.
On some level, I think authors have always marketed themselves a little, but we’ve reached such a crazy point where we’re demanding the author become the influencer. Accessibility in publishing has narrowed from an inch to a sliver. And that inch was hard enough to get in as is.
