Podía comer con poco dinero, darse un tour sin asistencia de guías y disfrutar grandiosos paisajes sin reprocharse por sus carencias. Se sentía libre. Tenía menos prejuicios y más ganas de escuchar las historias de quien se encontraba en su camino. Synonymous or not?
I used to regard Liberty and Freedom as identical and consequently interchangeable in usage. Looking into both, however, reveals difference.
Liberty from liber (Latin) means “free.” (Weekley, An Etymological Dictionary of Modern English, 1967) Liber can connote free of sin or free from fate.

BLOWING THE DUST OFF MY UNDER-UTILIZED TRANSFORMERS OCS HELL YEAH
For those unfamiliar: Libertas is one of my TF ocs, she is specifically a titan based on the concepts of the freedom ship, and views herself akin to an idol of worship whilst the bots using her body as shelter are dependents; Weak, defenseless beings at her mercy.
She feels nothing but apathy towards them, only keeping them around for the worship they offer her. Her cityspeakers are a group of 12 priests/priestesses, but their relationship is strained and distant. Quite literally a hapless follower trying to contact an uncaring god, only to be met with apathy and pity one might give a dying flower... Insignificant and meaningless in the grand scheme of things.
She is the main antagonist of my silly little tf oc story and I love her. Giant woman. Hell yeah.
Also, she's based on roman mythology :^)) if her name and the 12 cityspeakers weren't obvious enough hehehehhehe
