We received a stunning review for our LitRPG webnovel. It was so insightful and accurate, we felt compelled to turn it into promotional material.
If gender and sex talk is all you really care about, go read Echoes of Rundan! You’ll probably be disappointed that it comes down to one chapter talking briefly about our aroace side character, but I think it’s a good story!

I'm doing LGBTWIP on twitter, and today was introduce your wips, and I really like the aesthetic I made for this one. Basic idea of the story: a bi college grad who can go into her paintings/bring them to life, f/f romance, and mental breakdowns drawing on my own experience in psychiatric hospitals.

I’m taking part in #LGBTWIP on twitter and today’s prompt was to doodle a scene from your WIP.
I thought I’d share this scene from The Nitwit’s Companion to Spellcasting that I drew here.

Hey all!
I’ve been quiet over here, but I’ve been participating in the LGBTWIP hashtag on twitter this month - so if you want to read a bunch of random stuff about my current Novel WIP (Rat Boys and Elves) you can read the entire thread [here]!

WIP #1: TRUST FALL
It's just another job... right? A rush background check should be routine for a team of professionals, until their target walks into a gay bar on fetish night. Someone from the team has to follow, and "for the mission" turns into so much more.
Or in AO3 terms:
Rating: Explicit Warnings: None Pairings: Original characters, background characters Tags: Asexual character, Misunderstandings, Bondage, D/s, Shaving, Subdrop, Domdrop, Jewish characters, Deaf character, Hard of Hearing characters, American Sign Language, Awesome greyhound, Nobody likes soy pepperoni

uh hi guys
so there’s this thing on twitter called LGBTWIP and it’s a tag event for the month of May and I’m doing it and it’s a lot of fun. (you should follow me)
I have a new instagram - queer__dino - and it’s mostly just me being gay and posting about my gay ass characters because there’s nothing going on in my life except writing and dance and being gay
Which reminds me
I have a modern piece premiering in two weeks for the student concert and I’m beyond excited to present my idea to the world. It’s about gender and society and kinda blurring the lines and boxes and it’s near and dear to my heart
(cuz ya know. i’m queer)
And! I will also be performing in an abridged Sleeping Beauty ballet in June, and will be debuting as Crystal Fountain Fairy, which I’m very excited about.
Anyway. That’s my life update. Have a great day!

WIP Intro: Garlanded with Violets
Tumblr media
Genre: historical fiction, light academia, sapphic
Blurb: Sappho of Lesbos, the singer and poetess famed throughout the Greek world, does not take many students, and the timid Ippodámeia is surprised to find herself chosen to be one of them. For all that she had been named after the legendary Queen of Amazons, she has always prided herself on following the rules, a good daughter who will one day become a good wife. However, her fellow student Elissa’s fierce ambition attracts her as much as bewilders her, while the pious foreigner Lais and the cunning Ariadne become her unlikely friends.
However, beyond their charmed circle, Lesbos is a hotbed of political intrigue. As oligarchs and would-be tyrants are plotting against each other, song and religion become weapons in a covert war. Soon, Ippodámeia and her fellow students will have to take sides. Will they be able to achieve their dreams - or at least survive?

#LGBTWIP 6/8/19: How is your MC similar to you?
Peleb (and me) is trying his best in a world he doesn't quite understand, and he wants to help people. He hates those who look down on others.
-
#LGBTWIP 6/9/19: How is your MC different from you?
Peleb is very much ready to fight someone, I am not. He's a skilled fighter and trains everyday, whereas I almost never leave my couch except for work. He's a great speaker but cannot read/write and I am a great reader/writer but terrible at giving unplanned speeches.

Elise Bresch, Conscript of Ydia, represented by five objects.
This was made originally to participate in LGBTWIP over on Twitter, but it’s too good to not share!
Elise is represented by a shield, a sunflower, fire, locks, and a sword. She is a bisexual cis woman who is also a POC. Since I can actually get into some of the details of the whys on those objects, here goes:
1) Shield - Elise’s signature item is her shield. It represents her ability to provide for her team, but also her reluctance to step away from her comfort zone, even when there’s something better. 2) Sunflower - Elise’s favorite color is yellow, and the sunflower is the floral symbol of Ydia. 4) Fire - Elise has a strong temper, and it burns quick and hot before dying out. 5) Locks - Elise grew up as a thief. She might be more legitimate now, as a Conscript, but a lot of her choices made as an adult are based on those original instincts from her childhood. 6) Sword - Elise’s favorite thing in the whole world is the sword Merylle gave to her. It’s a work of beauty, but it also reminds Elise of her girlfriend.

So I’m participating in LGBTWIP over on twitter and I made my first aesthetic post for my WIP.  I still have a lot to learn about this stuff (such as finding a way to apply filters without a watermark!) but I’m pretty pleased with it.
This is for The Cliff’s Edge, my current project that takes place in the same universe as The Ashen Path.

Lgbtwip days 10 and 11 (I missed yesterday because I was doing volunteer work so I’m making a double post today 😋)
Day 10: A line where a character talks about their identity
Day 11: What could tempt your character to the “dark side”?
My main characters haven’t really talked aloud about their queer identities in narratives yet, but a side character has. For the context behind this line, a lesbian couple is talking about a family in their town that is unkind to them and their son because they’re both women and their son is an amputee.
“I know babe I’m angry too. They’ve always hated us because we’re gay, because I’m Chinese and you’re black, because our son is an amputee. I hate them too.” Mǔqīn was starting to raise her voice, “Tomorrow morning on my way to work I’m going to the their house and cussing them out. They've gone too far, I’ll not tolerate them going after our child like this.”
For what might tempt my protagonist over to the dark side I would say being misled into doing the wrong things of pressured into doubting his own moral compass by his friends or someone he respects
