there's multiple different versions like his clothes (spencer in a sweater, a polo, wearing too many layers to be appropriate for this weather) or like. behaving like a human (spencer spotted eating something and everyone cheers)

and garcia finds it and brings it back as a joke so there's just a gc of the team like "just saw spencer drink some water! that's five in a row, you guys owe me $5!!"

"i'd like to give you someone's card, my - friend - has a new fashion company and he's been looking for new models. i think you'd be the perfect fit for his vision." kenma explains to you. minutes ago he has walked up to you and asked to take some photos of you modelling, simply because it's a pass-time for him and he's been needing some sort of inspiration for his next project.

you, on the other hand, had been completely stunned, not only will this be one of your biggest individual gigs since you started your modelling career, but you are also meeting the kenma kozume, one of the most popular twitch streamers recently. a few beats pass before you finally answer with a meek "absolutely i'd like to" before he hands you the business card.

"can i ask a few questions over a coffee? this will be my first modelling gig for a company and i'd like to know more about your friends vision before i start." you ask him, when he follows you to the coffee shop, you assume he's agreeing to answer your questions.

when you part, all of your questions and concerns have been answered and you both part with a hug - one you didn't plan until you realized this was really happening - with a quick "thank you" in his ear. you both bid goodbye to each other and you return back to your studio apartment.

contacting mr. haiba hadn't been difficult, his secretary answering the phone, and getting all your personal information before the phone gets passed to him. he quickly explains the details and makes sure you understand everything throughly, before setting a date for the photoshoot and making sure everything will work out for both of you.

when you arrived at your photoshoot, you weren't expecting to see kenma sitting behind the camera, on a barstool. walking over to him with a confused expression, he waves at you and bids you over to his chair.

"other than streaming, photography has been my passion after high school, when lev told me about his business, i reluctantly agreed to be his photographer in my spare time," he explains, you're honestly quite thankful for his presence. although you haven't spent much time with him - other than the coffee shop - he calms you down a little.

thanks to your understanding and his instructions, the photoshoot goes well, almost perfectly, and in no time you are changing back into your regular attire before heading out. kenma is sitting outside, almost like he's waiting for you to join him.

"y/n! i have a proposition for you!" he says - louder than you expected - across the entrance of the agency. "i'd like you to come over to my place, i'm going to stream later today and do a bit of free advertising for lev's new company, and i'd like for you to be there to speak on it aswell." he says - and how could you possibly refuse going to his house? with his popularity and status, this could give you something big.

"sure, i'd love to see your place honestly, maybe give me a little inspiration for my own apartment. plus, i'd love to see what your community is like online." you agree, taking his hand while he leads you to his - rather expensive - car.

hours pass at kenma's talking, eating, even flirting? maybe he's just a really kind guy once he get's comfortable, no, that can't be because he got your favourite food even though it's expensive. you find so many reasons why he could be interested in you, but he's rich and can afford things you could only dream of, he's just showing you a good time. at least that's what you tell yourself.

by the time evening rolls around, kenma is in his gaming chair, getting ready to stream and greet his fans before starting up whatever game they're playing tonight. you on the other hand, have taken a rather rigid seat on kenma's bed, feeling very out of place. this is his space you say to yourself, not knowing how to act.

"don't be afraid to make yourself comfortable, i did invite you over, i don't want you to feel awkward when you shouldn't be." he tells you, making eye contact with you, looking over his shoulder and examining you. "you look cold, look - you're even shivering. go into the top drawer of my dresser and take something, i can wash it if you don't feel comfortable bringing it home." he instructs you, waving a hand at his dresser.

"o- okay, is there any you don't want me to wear?" you ask him, sifting through the drawer to find something you like, settling on a red hoodie. "nope, anything would look good on you." he whisper to himself before getting ready to press the "live" button.

"what was that? sorry i didn't hear you"

"nothing, don't worry about it"

watching kenma game is almost mesmerizing, his hands moving quickly across the keyboard, his eyes scanning his monitor so quickly you can't focus on them. and the amount of tips and messages he's getting about his skill and about how much the fans love him is endearing to say the least.

"guys there's no way kenma and the girl behind him aren't dating, she's even wearing his merch" a tip reads, the bot speaking for the donator. kenma and you both flash red, an aggressive blush coats both your cheeks. and to say the chat does wild with guesses is an understatement, you can't even read the messages because they're moving to quickly for your eyes to decipher what they say.

"trust me guys, we're not dating, if we were i wouldn't be streaming right now." he says suggestively, making your blush grow further, coating you ears and your chest in a light pink. "get off stream then" you say in retaliation.

and how could he resist your request?

huge rant below the cut (talking about rick and morty triggers the longwinded newspaper art critic in me sorry)

s7e2 and e4 were the best episodes in my opinion. absurd, darkly funny, overall just so perfect. i was especially excited about s7e2 since the rick/jerry dynamic has intrigued me since episode s3e5. i love that that episode basically just confirmed Rick and Jerry may be foils but are also perfect complements? they can only understand / appreciate each other when they are literally existing in each other's flesh? i try not to wax poetic about ram but this episode was tempting meeeee

and re: e4, i think this show's writing is at its best when the writers come up with a stupid concept and treat it seriously. i love that this episode saw the concept of 'what if corpse spaghetti' through to the end. classic dark comedy, absurd, wacky goodness. lovee it

one thing i do hate about this season (as well as seasons 5 and 6) is the number of callbacks to 'old' rick and morty. s7e3 and s7e8 were some of the worst episodes this season, mostly because they just reused old plotlines and developed them in the least interesting ways possible, imo. did the mid gag from s3e5 really need its own episode? it really did not. i think that this is one of the worst consequences of the show becoming less episodic and more serialized - the writers just endlessly milk the early seasons to recycle into plotlines, one-off gags, whatever. the self-referentiality and meta humor of newer seasons will always, always grind my gears severely.

also, s7e7 was almost unwatchable. it reminded me of s6e2 in all the worst ways - just dedicating an entire episode to a SINGLE movie reference, doubling down on the singular reference as the episode drags on. god that episode sucked. so boring, annoying, unfunny.

i have extremely mixed feelings on s7e5. On the one hand, I'm still annoyed that the backstory from s3e1 is even canon, and Rick is yet another entry in the long tradition of flawed male protagonists turned into a nihilistic depressed shitshow by the death of a wife. it's such a pat trope, imo.

HOWEVER, i really like how this episode developed Rick. I'll always be a fan of ruthlessness and revenge plotlines, so im biased. but i've come to appreciate Rick Prime as a villain, as a testament to how much Rick hates himself -- there's a version of himself out there that would torture himself across the universe by killing off his own loved ones, just to try to prove his own superiority? it's all very mindfucky but im super into it. Rick C137 killing Prime with his fists, all while Prime goads him? it was such a cool scene. i love when the show does selfcest

i also still have mixed feelings on the evil morty and his growing prominence in the series. it was nice when he was just a little treat, but it became clear in s4 the writers were aware of fan expectations for the character. i can't help but wonder if that's shaped the way they're writing him, especially giving him the centralized role in the story of possible-future-final-antagonist? that being said i've always liked evil morty, he's a fun character to watch on screen. although i'm extremely cautious of my enjoyment. he's already starting to feel like a fanfic rip-off of himself a little bit (that one line where he said 'well, they don't call me good morty' was so bizarre. evil morty was the fandom name for him, and the writers adopted it and made it a diegetic epithet for the character???????)

s7e10 was refreshing after a long season of Morty getting sidelined. I love how this one starts with a classic rick and morty set-up (what if *weird thing* in *random place*) but turns it into existential horror? really cool. i don't think it was the most subtle way to do morty character development, but it was interesting enough that i was invested. also, rick pinning morty's picture to the pinboard. so good

overall my reaction to this season is 'we're so back.' it was LEAGUES better than s5-6, which i think are like the ram dark ages. i don't think s7 was the best season yet (as some are suggesting) but I think that this season marks a positive turn for the quality of writing in the show.!!

Basically, e7 and e8 were irredeemably terrible. e9, e3, and e1 were mid/fine. e6, e10, e4, e5, and e2 were all varying degrees of peak rick and morty.

i felt like there was a lot of long, no dialogue, sad music montages that felt like references to the famous scene from s4e8? the one from s7e4 comes to mind immediately. but there were another few sprinkled in

s7e3 rick telling a scientologist "worship how you want" ??? he would not say that. who let that slide in the writing room?

the fight scenes and gore were all really well animated!! since s3 the animation has only gotten better and i love the gore

i actually love the new VAs. they're different from roiland, obviously, but i honestly think they're both doing a better job. the performances are more naturalistic, and less grating? i thought the change would weird me out, but it's subtle, and i like it

Spencer is not part of the bau but is connected to one of the members in some way, he was severely abused as a child by his father and neglected by his mother (accidentally) and ends up developing such bad ptsd, and anxiety that he is not able to live without a caretaker because he will not eat and is at considerable risk for hurting himself or doing drugs, he also has developed schizophrenia but it’s not that big of an issue for him because of medication and because his hallucinations are mostly not harmful, just random. His caregiver and girlfriend is meave who works in the same collage (maybe cal-tec) as he does as a professor and scientist, Spencer is also a professor who works part time in a lab and the collage they work at is very accommodating of his disability’s. The fic would be the team meeting and learning about Spencer and him getting a support system as well as a family from them as well as meave
