When one of the females gets too clingy and can't take a hint, Coco calls in backup.
Tumblr media
Words: 3.2K Author's Note: Surprise! No one really wanted to read this one, so I figured I’d just get it out of the way.
I'm not sure where Coco grew up, so I'm just gonna say he grew up in Las Vegas. Trigger warning for violence? I don't know. I can't write fight scenes, but I tried.
Coco sits at a table, picking at the label on his beer bottle as Mya drones on and on next to him. She'd been new to the clubhouse, bright-eyed and eager to please any man in a kutte, and he'd made the unfortunate mistake of sleeping with her a little over a week ago. Most women knew the drill, never seeking out a second encounter unless the Mayan sought her out, but not Mya.
Apparently, she couldn't take a hint like everyone else.
"So, I was thinking that if the boys don't need you tomorrow night, you can take me on a date," Mya says. Her hand lands on his thigh under the table, sliding upward. "You know how much I wanna climb onto the back of your bike."
Coco reaches under the table, grasping her hand. "No," he says as he shoves her hand away.
"Coco!" Mya stands, stomping her foot in a huff. "We've been dating-"
"We're not fuckin' dating!"
She gasps at his explosive response, completely oblivious to those in the clubhouse who've stopped what they were doing in order to pay attention to them. Her expression morphs from one of shock to utter rage within seconds and she grabs up her glass of beer, tossing the liquid into his face. "You need to get your priorities straight, Coco! I'll see you tomorrow and your attitude better be well adjusted or this-" she practically screams at him, gesturing wildly between the two of them, "is over!"
As she stomps off, Coco angrily swipes the beer off his face and slicks back his hair. Laughter erupts behind him as hands clamp down on his shoulders and he rolls his eyes as Angel steps aside to pull out the chair next to him. "Fuck off, Angel."
"Bro, what the fuck?" He continues to laugh as Bishop takes a seat across the table from them, shaking his head in amusement. "I thought you had that shit handled?"
"Pendeja doesn't know how to take a hint." Coco takes a sip of his beer, letting his anger fester. "I was moments away from clockin' her."
"We don't hit women," Bishop reminds him.
"I think we can make an exception just this once."
Angel laughs at how worked up his brother is.
"No." Bishop's answer is final. "If you want her truly gone, get one of the other females to take care of it."
"And risk them getting infatuated with our little Coco," Angel muses. "He'll be starting from square one all over again, Bish."
Coco remains silent, pondering his next course of action. "What if I get an outsider to do it?"
"Female?" Bishop wonders.
"Yeah." Coco sips his beer. "Got a friend in Vegas. She's kind of protective, but won't start shit unless she knows I can't handle it myself."
"You tapped that?" Angel asks, but his brother merely scoffs, shaking his head. He grins as he tries to ruffle Coco's hair. "I didn't know Coco Puff needed a bodyguard."
"Fuck off, man. She grew up in the system. Had a tough childhood, so we bonded over dumb shit before I split for the Marines. She's basically my sister."
"A sister we never met?" Bishop arches an eyebrow at him.
"She's got her own shit going on." Coco shrugs. "She knows about the club, but never really had time to make the drive down here."
"Call her. I need to meet this girl," Angel says. "Party's tomorrow so we know Mya's gonna be in top form."
Coco looks at Bishop and his president shrugs. "Handle your shit without laying hands on a woman. Call your girl in if you have to."
Finishing off his beer, Coco sets the empty bottle aside before bringing out his phone. He taps away at his screen before finding what he wants, and then puts his phone on speaker before setting it down on the table. It rings and rings, and then.."
"Johnny!"
He grins at her excited greeting. "Hey, 'mana, you busy?"
"For you? Never. What's up?"
"There's a female here at the club who can't comprehend I ain't interested. I wanna lay hands on her, but-"
"Let me guess, el presidente said no?"
"Bish said no," he chuckles.
"So what do you need from me? Want me to dig up some dirt? Slash some tires? Pour sugar into her gas tank?"
"Jesus Christ," Angel murmurs, stifling his laughter.
"I need you to be at the party and throw hands if it comes down to it."
"Oohh. Tempting."
"Free drinks all night."
"Even more tempting."
Coco sighs. "I'll throw in a slice of cheesecake."
"Make it a whole strawberry cheesecake and I'll pack a bag and start driving right now."
"Fine, fatass. Just get here in time for the party."
"Don't fat shame me, 'mano, or I'll tell your stage five clinger that you're just playing hard to get and leave you to defend yourself."
"Puta."
"You know it. Love 'ya, Cruz. I'll be there tomorrow to collect that cheesecake."
Tumblr media
When you pull up to the Romero Brothers Scrap and Salvage yard, a man stops you at the gate and then directs you where to park when you mention you're looking for Johnny Cruz- or Coco as they know him.
The clubhouse where the Mayans congregate looks exactly like Johnny explained to you once upon a time. There is a row of motorcycles parked nearby, but you make sure to park away from them to lessen the chance of accidentally knocking one over. It's happened before, thankfully not to an MC member, and the rider was pretty pissed. You can only imagine how an actual MC member would react to their precious bike taking a tumble.
As you exit your vehicle and stretch your limbs, the clubhouse door opens and out step several men and what appears to be a teenager. Coco appears at the back of the crowd and hops down the steps, intent on meeting you halfway. He smirks as he nears and you can't help but laugh as you throw your arms wide and embrace your childhood friend.
"Holy shit, Cruz! It's been a minute." As you pull back from the hug, your hands reach up to grasp at his hair as you look him up and down. "See, I told you you'd look hot with long hair."
He laughs as he steps back. "Still blunt as ever, I see."
"Always." Your eyes dart to the men and the girl now waiting at the bottom of the steps to the clubhouse. "Now introduce me to your brothers. If you had told me they were this hot, I'd have come a lot sooner."
"Please don't bang my brothers."
"I won't." You laugh. "But I will ogle because holy shit."
"Yeah, yeah. Come on." Coco leads you to his brothers and introduces the ones who'd come out- Bishop, Angel, Creeper, and EZ. Then he walks over to the teenager who doesn't know what to make of you and slings an arm around her shoulders, tucking her close to his side. "And this little ball of attitude of Letty. My daughter."
It takes a moment for his words to sink in and when they do, your eyes widen. "Daughter?" Your gaze darts between the two of them in surprise and you finally see her facade crack as she slowly grins. "Holy shit! You had a mini you?!" You reach forward then, grabbing the girl and tugging her closer to you before forcing her into a hug. As you hold her with one arm, you point threateningly at the men. "I only had mini-Cruz for a hot minute, but I will protect her with my life." The girl laughs against you and then you pull back a bit, looking her in the eye. "If anyone tries to fuck with you, they gotta go through your new tia YN."
"Sure thing, tia."
"Aw. You're definitely a Cruz. I'd know that attitude anywhere."
"Alright," Coco sighs. "Can we go inside now? You need to rest up before Mya gets here and tries your patience."
"Uh huh. And do you have the payment?"
"EZ's got the cheesecake in the cooler."
"Awesome. Let's get inside then. I need to collect myself before I gotta put the sucia in her place."
You release Letty to go back to your vehicle, grabbing your bag from the backseat before heading into the clubhouse alongside Coco. The inside is not as big as you were expecting, but it's the perfect place to hang out for select individuals. The ones you previously had been introduced to go their separate ways as Coco introduces you to a few new individuals. Then when they all know who you are and what you mean to Coco, you're led to a back room where you can rest before you have to freshen up for the party.
. .
. .
Later on, when the sun's gone down and the clubhouse becomes even more livelier, you jump in the shower. You dress in a rock band tee that's one size too small, its sleeves and about four inches of the bottom half of the shirt missing. You pull on a pair of jean shorts and a pair of very worn in Doc Martens, and then tie your hair up in a ponytail to keep your hair out of your eyes.
A knock on the door sounds just as you reach for the doorknob, and you open up with a smile. Letty's on the other side, grinning as she holds a plate of cheesecake. "Coco said to bring this in hopes of bribing you out of the room."
"I was already on my way, but thanks." You take the plate of cheesecake from her, grabbing the fork and taking a bite of the cream cheesy goodness. "Mmm. God, I love this stuff."
"I can see that." Letty gestures towards the hallway behind her. "Mya will be here soon. I never liked her. She didn't seem too impressed when she found out Coco had a daughter."
"Well now I dislike her even more," you muse. "Lead the way, favorite niece o'mine."
Letty smiles as she does as she's told. You follow her, finishing off your slice of cheesecake in record time and hand the plate off to some female behind the bar who seems to have just swapped duties with EZ for the rest of the night.
The table Letty leads you to is already occupied by Angel, Coco and Creeper. EZ brings a round of beers for everyone, except for Letty, and takes a seat with all of you.
"So how is it that a girl like you calls Coco her best friend?" Angel wonders.
"What do you mean by a girl like me?"
"Look at you, you're hot!" He exclaims. EZ snorts as Coco and Creeper shake their heads in amusement at their brother. "You could pass for a hookup, but a best friend? Nah, I don't see it."
"Well, see it." You chuckle. "Coco and I have been friends for as long as I can remember."
Creeper glances between you and Coco. "The two of you had to have hooked up in the past."
"Why are you guys so adamant that we hooked up?"
"You guys don't know YN like I do," Coco says as he takes a drink of his beer. "She was really crazy back then. I am man enough to admit that I wouldn't have been able to handle her as a hookup when we were younger."
"Aw. That was the sweetest thing you ever said about me," you coo, "but I was not crazy."
"Yeah, you were, mujer. Do you or do you not remember when I had to rush to the club and pick your ass up before the cops showed because you stabbed a guy?"
Your mouth instantly falls open to defend yourself, but you end up shrugging. "That guy should have walked away when he had the chance."
"You didn't have to stab him," Coco muses.
"You weren't there. You didn't hear what he said to me!"
"What- what did he say?" Angel asks, eyes sparkling in amusement already.
"What are you gonna do? Stab me?"
EZ is the first to laugh, the rest of the men following behind him. Letty is the only one who shrugs. "Yeah, that's fair."
"See!" You point at Letty. "She gets it."
"That's because she's exactly like you were when we were teens."
"And that's why you're now my favorite Cruz," you say, slinging an arm around her shoulders and holding her close.
Angel watches the two of you, eyes narrowing slightly. "You two aren't allowed to be alone together. Ever."
You and Letty simultaneously smirk as the men shiver, and then Coco decides to divulge more of your past. You throw in your own two cents here and there, so they don't think you were the only out of control teenager. Coco had his moments too, but most of the time it was him pulling you out of some dumb situation you put yourself in.
You're barely on your second beer, having relaxed and forgetting all about why you're really there, when EZ's lips quirk into a grin. "Trouble just walked through the door."
Coco tenses in his seat and you eagerly glance around to see who it is that's causing your friend so much trouble. The girl that's standing closest to the door and looking around for someone is obviously beautiful, and you can see why Coco went for her. But the sequined mini dress and the too tall stilettos have no place in a biker clubhouse, and the moment her eyes land on Coco, you know the night just took a turn for the interesting.
"Oohh. She's pretty," you muse. "You need to work on that radar though, Cruz, because I can smell the psycho all the way from over here. I don't know how you missed it."
"He was too worried about getting laid to see it," Angel mutters.
You can only smile, keeping an eye on the woman apparently named Mya as she makes a beeline for the table you're sitting at. Creeper and Letty are the only two capable of keeping their expressions schooled whereas Angel and EZ are already grinning. Coco heaves a long-suffering sigh and you can't help but snicker as he kicks you under the table.
"Hey, baby," Mya coos, her hand landing on his shoulder before sliding down and across his chest as if claiming him in front of everyone. "Are you in a better mood tonight?"
Coco shrugs her off, staring up and glowering at her. "What the hell are you doing?"
"W-What?" She tenses. Her eyes subtly widen before she pouts. "I just thought we could have some fun tonight since you boys don't seem too busy."
"Well you thought wrong, mujer. Now get the hell out of here."
You're watching the girl as her expression flickers from hurt to anger and you subtly scoot your chair back. You catch Letty and EZ's eye on either side of you, motioning for them to do the same because one wrong move on Mya's part and you were throwing yourself across the table.
"What the hell is wrong with you?!" Her voice rises and you clench your jaw when you notice those closest to your group start paying immediate attention. One hand goes to her hip, but the other she uses her pointer finger to press against Coco's temple and shove his head to the side. "You can't just fuck me and toss me out like last night's garbage."
The amusement instantly drains from your expression. "Watch it, niñita," you call out, relaxed in your seat but ready to fly off the handle if necessary. "Coco might not lay hands on you, but I sure as hell will."
Mya scoffs when she looks at you. "You're not gonna do shit, new girl. Coco's my man and I'll treat him how I want, when I want."
"The fuck you will!" Letty practically shouts, leaning forward in her seat. You catch her by the shoulder though, pulling her back into her seat. She glances at you; furious you would keep her from defending her father.
Mya's gaze darts between you and Letty, and smirks when you turn your attention back to her. "Yeah. That's what I thought."
She goes to shove Coco again and between one blink and the next, you're launching yourself across the table. Angel, Creeper and Coco shove their chairs back with a shout, and you manage to grasp the neckline of Mya's dress in hand before reeling back with your dominant hand and delivering punch after punch.
She shrieks, attempting to cover her face with one arm and swatting out with her other. Her nails manage to catch your shoulder and neck as she stumbles back and forth in her ridiculous heels, and you take the both of you down when someone shoves you hard in the back. You hear the men shout, but your attention is solely focused on Mya as she shouts and squirms beneath you.
You hit her twice more when someone grabs you by the ponytail, yanking you backwards. You yell out as you scramble backwards, only to have the body at your back suddenly yanked away. When you whirl around, your mouth drops open at the sight of the president of the Mayans standing over some guy on the ground and holding his jaw.
"Get your puta and get the fuck outta my club," Bishop says. "Number one rule is we do not lay hands on a woman."
"But this bitch-"
"Who are you calling a bitch, pinche pendejo?" You stalk up to him, kicking him across the face. You don't knock him out, which is a pity, but you do see his mouth fill with blood. You sneer down at him before marching your way back towards Mya, sneering at her as she scrambles back. "And you!" You grab her by the arm and drag her towards the clubhouse doors. "Consent works both ways. Now get the fuck outta here. I don't want to see your face around here again."
"But you're not even-"
"I said get out!" You shove her towards the door, taking too much delight in the way she trips over her own two feet.
As you watch her and the man who had dared grab you collect themselves and walk out, you keep an eye on them while redoing your own hair. Then when you turn around, you roll your eyes with a laugh as Coco, Angel, EZ, Creeper, Letty, Bishop and several other men applaud you. The other women are looking at you with respect in their gazes and you smile at them, showing them that you're not a total bitch.
"Yeah, yeah. Show's over."
"And that, hermanos, is the girl I grew up with. Only she was a lot more volatile back then," Coco says as you near.
"Whatever. She got off easy. Both of them you did," you grumble.
Angel laughs. "We thought Bishop was going to blow a gasket. The second that puto grabbed you, every man in here lurched forward. Bishop just beat us to the punch."
"Well, I feel honored," you muse. You head back over to the table, laughing as EZ picks up your turned over chair. "Now can someone grab me an ice pack? My hand's starting to hurt."

PROMPT: #25. “I don’t care that you’re hanging up lights, get off the roof!”
WARNINGS: mentions of religion, drug addiction, & coco being hardheaded af.
˚୨୧⋆。˚ ⋆ ˚୨୧⋆。˚ ⋆ ˚୨୧⋆。˚ ⋆ ˚୨୧⋆。˚ ⋆ ˚୨୧⋆。˚ ⋆ ˚୨୧⋆。˚ ⋆
Why was the gravel ashy if Santo Padre hardly got any snow?
That was the main thing on her mind on her drive back to the house. Surely it would make sense if they lived in a climate where snow was common. Honestly it was a little aggravating witnessing this as the wheels rode over the pavement; she wished they were experiencing rain on this winter day to bring in some damn moisture for once.
As she approached the house, her large round eyes formed into slits as she noticed something on the roof of her home. She stopped chewing as she creeped the car along the sidewalk, getting closer to the cream-colored home.
Just to her suspicion she took in the frame of the long haired man crouched on the roof. Immediately her window went down as she leaned over the passenger side yelling, “Coco, what do you think you’re doing?”
He silently cursed to himself as he sniffed, flicking the buds of his cigarette, watching the embers float downwards before he proposed a question himself, “you’re back home early. Something go wrong at church?”
He silently cursed to himself as he sniffed, flicking the buds of his cigarette, watching the embers float downwards before he proposed a question himself, “you’re back home early. Something go wrong at church?”
The woman snickered to herself, knowing that Coco took the opportunity of her heading out to church to do—whatever it is that he’s doing on top of the house. Church was something that called her every so often (she came from a religious background so it was not a foreign idea to her but after living on her own, she didn’t find a true place of worship like back home) and even brought coco with her a couple of times. He enjoyed the singing portion and often felt anointed by the soulful voices after his struggles with drug addiction, yet he did not enjoy the long sermons.
She was climbing out of the emerald green Volkswagen Beetle then, boots on her feet as they clacked against the sidewalk to stand a great distance from the house but directly in Coco’s line of vision. His ink eyes scanned over her frame, a black leather jacket he bought for her last Christmas, tossed over a v-neck cut bodysuit…but most importantly the aluminum pan she was eating from, right in front of his face.
“I lied,” she answered around the shredded beef quesadilla with a lift of her shoulders, “I didn’t go to church.”
Coco blew his smoke to the side as a small frown appeared in between his brows, “where you go then? Aye…Don’t they say lying is a sin?”
She fought against the wind chill that surrounded her body, flicking her hair back from her shoulders as she fired back, “and isn’t waiting for you girlfriend to leave to do whatever it is that you’re doing, sneaky?”
“What’s sneaky about hanging up lights for the house?” Coco suddenly dragged the line of lights from behind him, holding them up in the air for her to see.
She blinked, “uh…maybe waiting until no one is around to help you?”
“I don’t need any help, I got it.” Coco stubbornly replied, “just like you didn’t need any help, lying about your whereabouts dressed like that and coming back eating that shit right in front of my face.”
The woman’s plump lips scrunched up at the slight attitude she was receiving right now. It was evident that Coco felt like he was being nagged but all she asked was a simple question.
Only for his well-being.
Taking a deep inhale and exhaling she took a different approach, “Pilates. I was at Pilates, okay? Yes, I’m following the latest trend, I fear, and I don’t wanna hear nothing about it. I Wanted to try something new and it was cool for like thirty minutes until I learned each session is a hour and sometimes a hour or more.”
Coco scratched at his hair with the hand that held his cigarette. “The hell is that?”
“What?”
“Pilates, you said?”
“Oh, it’s a strength training exercise.”
Coco pushed out his lips and shrugged, figuring he would just look it up later online. He had work to do but at least she was being honest…until another thought occurred to him.
“If you were out exercising…why you eating something so oily?”
Now why would he say that?
Was Coco a nutritionist instead of a Mayan?
Coco could see from on top of the house that she didn’t care for that response. The flare of her tinted button nose almost made him regret saying it. He wasn’t trying to knock his girl for her eating habits, it was only a question, but it was clear the holiday season was giving unnecessary stress to them both.
He watched as she stomped back over to her car, snatched her cotton tote bag from the backseat and slammed the door shut. With her head held high up the air, she began strutting down the rest of the sidewalk to head up the path that led to the house. She halted as she realized she dropped her dusty pink leg warmers, bent down to shove them back into the bag, not without giving Coco her full ass to kiss and knew he would be watching, as she held up her middle finger in between her legs and up at her blunt boyfriend.
Just as she turned around he said:
“My bad—
He started, knowing that he pissed her off.
“I don’t care that you’re hanging up lights, get off the roof!” Was all she shouted throughout the neighborhood, he was sure if anyone was around, especially that nosy old man, Hector from across the street, he would probably be on Coco’s head about this.
The glare in her large round eyes and the pointing was all Coco needed to know they were in argument right now. However he didn’t have any words to argue with, so he stood up from the roof, cigarette back in his mouth as he now held the lights in both hands, silently stamping his claim. This motion was enough for her to get that Coco wasn’t going anywhere, he was going to do whatever he set his mind to.
“Okay, Johnny.” Was all she said, sending him a sweet smile that was anything but, before entering the house with a slam of the door.
Coco laughed to himself, peeking back over at his lady’s car noticing that she didn’t bother to roll the windows up, (it was supposed to rain tonight) she was so annoyed with him. He knew he’d do it later just in case the automatic windows decided they wanted to get stuck again but his focus were on these Christmas lights.
Coco wanted to decorate the outside, that’s all he cared about; since he never got the chance to do it growing up with the kind of mother he had…however he was slowly building a family and felt like this was something he should do.
So he did.
Hours passed to the point she forgot Coco was even outside as she got wrapped up in other things around the house. From showering, to putting Christmas tunes on while tidying the house some more, to switching on the Christmas trees lights and faux poinsettias over the mantle, she was finally sitting down on the couch, finishing her leftover lunch when Letty entered the house, searching for her.
“Hey, do you know coco’s hanging from the side of the house?” Letty questioned, “he told me not to say anything but—when do I ever listen to what he says?”
A smirk appeared on her lips then, which made confusion wash over Letty’s face as she watched her take her time slipping on her jacket and Uggs. The teen just raised her hands, not wanting to be bothered with what those two had going on as she began making her way to the kitchen. The girl halted in the hallway, backtracking, doe-eyes scanning the doorway to make sure that she was in fact out of the house, as Letty plucked up the last quesadilla, running to her bedroom.
A sigh left her lips as she stood into the much cooler evening air. Her arms folded against each other as she watched coco dangle from the side of the home by the lights that held him hostage by his ankle.
“Hey there stranger,” she started, to get his attention, “how’s it hanging? Any blood rushing to your head yet?”
“Fucking Leticia,” Coco muttered not wanting her to see him like this, “Can you get me down, mamita?”
“Oh, so now you want my help?”
“I don’t exactly have my gun to shoot this shit off. So yeah.” He lightly spun, hanging upside down like a bat in its cave.
She was positive he would have done something exactly like that if no one was around. It was just humorous to her that he was not only in his predicament over some lights, but he was the one giving her attitude for not wanting him to injure himself up there in the first place and now look at him.
The nerve of this man.
“Maybe I should leave you here until midnight.”
“I’ll probably be dead by then.”
“I hope not.”
“Mamita! Stop fucking around, please! I’m starting to lose feeling in my neck.”
She would be lying if she said that didn’t spark her heart rate a bit. However she still took her time walking fully over to him, one hand in her pocket as she slipped out her knife and swiped it around his ankle. Quickly stepping back she watched at the lights unraveled the man, sending him head-first right into the grass.
Coco laid there for a bit on his stomach, before he lifted his head some, long hair in his eyes as she watched him. “Thanks.”
“Mhm,” she kicked the grass before holding her hand to help the man to his feet. Her hands went to his skull next, fingertips pressing into the scalp beneath his shiny hair.
Coco melted into her hands then, as she gave him a massage in a attempt to help the headache he was probably facing now. His hands went to her waist, mainly to steady himself before he completely pressed his head to her chest.
“My bad,” He whispered into the orange frosted sky, “I didn’t mean to hurt your feelings earlier.”
This she knew.
Yet coco didn’t receive a vocal response from her, she just held onto him like he wanted. They were both trying their best to heal from their own inner demons, so the couple knew they couldn’t take what was said personally.
So they’d blame it on the holidays for now.

The Haunting of Angel Reyes ~ Comic Book - A group project
Ok, after that little exchange with @withmyteeth and @stillbreathin I couldn't leave this trainwreck alone 🤣
//
Takes place about 6 months after last episode.
"So, it turns out Coco wasn't really dead" Marcus announced at the Templo. "He was in a coma all these months and has just woken up"
"That's the good news"
Tumblr media
Everybody was too shocked to say anything for a long while. Finally, it was Creeper who dared to ask.
"What's the bad news?"
Tumblr media
"Angel gets to tell Coco that he's going to be a grandfather." El Padrino's stern look never left the older Reyes brother.
Tumblr media
A chorus of assorted "oh, shits", chuckles and whistles created a commotion around the table.
"Shit, nice knowing ya Angelita"
"Shut up, you... hairy bitch."
Marcus interrupted with a finger pointed at the newly patched-in Mayan, "Leave the fuckboy be, Nestor. He's got enough on his plate without you beating his ass in the ring again."
The next morning Coco arrived home and nearly landed himself right back in the hospital with a severe case of WTF-induced heart attack when he saw his daughter.
Tumblr media
"Leticia! What the fuck??? What did you do?"
Tumblr media
"Really, Coco? Isn't it obvious?"
"Whaa...how...I mean" Coco finally settled on a who.
"Well, funny story. This one time we all thought you were dead and Angel came to check on me and.."
Tumblr media

Hello, Welcome Home
When you left Charming all those years ago, you never thought you'd ever be going back. But the Chambers of Commerce reached out, asking if you'd perform for a new festival they were putting on. You were always a sucker for a good festival, especially if there was a carnival involved, and you couldn't say no. Especially since you were hit with a sudden wave of nostalgia and wanted to see a few faces you had left behind.

Words: 7.2K Author's Note: SOA AU! Again, no Clay. Sorry for those who love the man. Reader is also of Spanish descent.
Jax is sitting at the bar, nursing a beer after working a shift in the garage. Ever since he'd taken up the gavel, he'd worked hard to bring peace between the MC's in California, Oregon, Nevada, and Arizona. It took several grueling months of arguments and transfers of power to get it done, but eventually everyone else started to want a bit of peace for themselves. There was still plenty of illegal activity going on, but everyone was less hostile if another MC was rolling through their turf so long as they called ahead to let them know.
Nearly done with his beer, Jax's phone rings and he slides it out of his pocket. He checks the name before flipping it open to answer. "Bishop," he greets. "What's going on, brother?"
"Hola, presidente. I got a favor to ask."
"Sure. You guys runnin' some guns through or what?"
"Not that type of favor, compañero. It's actually about the festival Charming is putting on next week."
"Oh yeah? You guys heard about that down in Santo Padre?" He chugs the last of his beer, gesturing for the prospect to grab him another. "My ma's on the committee that's helping out. Everyone's losing their goddamn minds over it."
Bishop chuckles down the line. "I'm pretty sure it's the concert line-up because that's what I'm calling about. Coco's daughter Letty is obsessed with one singer that's going to perform and she would rather pay the thirty-five-dollar entrance fee to see her perform than spend hundreds of dollars on a ticket for an actual concert."
"Ah. Got it," Jax says. "You're calling ahead to see if it's alright to roll up."
"Si."
"Yeah, brother, I don't see any issue with it. We're all gonna be out there as well. My ma's pumped about one of the entertainers too."
Bishop chuckles. "We're gonna scare all your locals, presidente, with so many kuttes walking around."
It's Jax's turn to chuckle. "Nah. We'll be fine. The locals here know what's up. We keep the streets clean and their kids safe. We're fuckin' kings up here."
Bishop and Jax share another laugh before hammering out the details of who'll be making the drive up to Charming for the festival.
Tumblr media
The festival that Charming is putting on is anything unlike Jax has ever seen. It's a four-day festival and so far, they've witnessed two of those days. The first day garnered a good size crowd since the entrance fee was free, and a twenty-dollar wristband gave unlimited access to the rides. The second day had a fifteen-dollar entrance fee since the concerts started at noon and lasted up until midnight, and all rides were a dollar each. There were numerous games, arts and crafts vendors, and food booths- food of all kinds that left the entire festival area smelling unlike the Sons had smelled before.
Now it's the third day and the entrance fee has jumped to thirty-five dollars since the entertainment was more well-known than the previous day's entertainment. Today also happens to be the day of the concert that the Mayans were rolling into town for. So, after spending some time with Tara and Thomas, watching Abel get on a few kiddie rides, Jax leads them over to the main stage towards the back of the festival grounds where the concert is to take place.
When he and Tara get to the stage, their eyes widen at the size of the crowd that this performer has garnered. He's about to lead her and his kids to a set of bleachers at the back of the crowd, not willing to risk pushing his way through so many people, when Gemma catches sight of them.
"Heya, Jackson. These are for you." Gemma hands him four neon orange wristbands that are stamped with the letters VIP.
"VIP?" Tara arches an eyebrow at her mother-in-law. "How'd you score these?"
"The performer is YN YLN." She smirks as Jax's eyes widen.
"No shit?"
"Shit." Gemma smirks before she takes in her daughter-in-law's pinched expression, Tara having been filled in about Jax's girl after she had left for college, and then rolls her eyes before slinging an arm around Tara's shoulders. "Don't be like that. YN knows all about you and Jax, and she's happy for you. She actually wants to meet up after she's done."
"You promise you won't stir shit up?" He asks his ma.
"I promise, baby." She smiles, eyes sparkling. "Everyone's all grown up now and she really does just want to catch up. You weren't her only friend here in Charming, you know."
"Yeah, I know. Just didn't think I'd ever see her again. I broke her heart." Jax winces as he recalls said breakup.
"Breaking her heart was the best thing you did for that girl, Jackson. She got out of Charming and made it big in the music industry." Jax slowly smiles then, realizing his mother is right. "Now I gotta go find some Mayans to give them their bracelets. Opie and Juice are already in the VIP section."
Jax chuckles and waves his mother off, he and Tara then putting the bracelets on their kids before helping each other put their own on.
Gemma walks around for twenty minutes before spotting more kuttes in the crowd, smirking as she approaches them. "What are you guys doing way back here?" The three Mayans and the girl all glance at her, one of them tugging the girl a little behind him. Gemma mentally rolls her eyes at that. "Relax. I'm Jax Teller's mother." They seem to relax at that. "My son tells me the girl is a fan of the next performer. I figured you'd wanna be as close as possible."
"Gemma, right?" One man asks. She nods. "I'm Angel, this is EZ, Coco and Letty." She smiles at each of them.
EZ sheepishly rubs the back of his head. "We got here a bit late. Didn't think the crowd would be this big."
Gemma huffs. "You and me both." She glances around the crowd, shaking her head. Then facing the Mayans, she reaches into her back pocket while pulling out more VIP bracelets. "It's a good thing I have these then."
Letty pushes past her father's protective stance, causing Gemma, Angel and EZ to laugh while Coco glares at his daughter. "Are those- are these for us?!"
"'Course, baby. Now come on. Let's see that dainty wrist of yours."
Gemma helps Letty put her bracelet on while passing out the other three to the men.
"How the hell did you swing this?" Coco asks once Gemma's leading them towards the front of the stage, flashing her bracelet smugly to the security guard on shift.
"Believe it or not, YN and Jax used to date."
"The president of the Sons?" Letty asks. "No way!"
"Yes way. She actually grew up here in Charming, you know," Gemma tells her. "Friends with Jax and Opie. Dated Jax when she was nineteen and then left after she turned twenty. I kept in touch with her even though my son broke her heart and she gave me VIP bracelets to pass around as I saw fit."
In front of the stage, the Sons of Anarchy and the Mayans greet each other like brothers that haven't seen each other in a while. Coco introduces his daughter Letty to everyone as Jax introduces his wife Tara to them as well. Abel and Thomas have been outfitted with noise cancellation headphones since they're so close to the stage and speakers, and Opie's doing his best to calm down Juice who is apparently a fan of YN's as well.
In the time that they wait for the mini concert to begin, Letty and Juice bond over their love of YN's music and their awe over the fact that Jax dated her when they were teenagers. And though Tara was uncomfortable in the beginning knowing her husband's ex was the performer they were all waiting for, she couldn't help but find amusement in their situation. Hopefully Gemma wasn't playing them and there was no drama at the end of the night.
The lights on stage suddenly dim and the crowd cheers in anticipation, Letty and Juice included, which makes the other bikers chuckle in amusement. They can see several people taking the stage, settling down behind instruments or taking up a spot behind mic stands to sing backup.
The music suddenly starts, the crowd goes wild, and a lone figure takes center stage. As soon as the first word is spoken, the lights come on full force. "Take a hit, shoot me down, shoot me down. I will never hit the ground, hit the ground. Playing dead, I'll never do. Gotta keep an eye on you."
YN walks to the front of the stage, singing as lights pulse along to the beat behind her. As Jax takes her in, he can't help but realize that she really did grow up. She looks completely at home on stage, letting the crowd amp her up. She grins as she steps up on a long rectangular speaker, voice getting a little louder as she grins behind the mic in her hand.
"Oh, won't wave my white flag, no. This time I won't let go. I'd rather die than give up the fight, give up the fight, give up the fight, give up the fight!"
Jax is surprised that the crowd behind his back sings along, YN feeding off the energy of the crowd as she sings her heart out. The lights pulse brighter, and YN walks up and down the front of the stage, not staying in one spot for too long.
When the song comes to an end, YN is back in the middle of the stage and laughing. There's a stool there with a bottle of water sitting atop of it, and YN takes a hearty gulp from it. Only when the crowd dies down does she address them. "Wow." The crowd chuckles at her awe. "I mean, wow, guys!" She laughs. "When my hometown asked me to perform for this festival, I did not expect this turn out. Holy shi-" She cuts herself off, shaking her head in awe as the crowd cheers yet again, laughing along with her. "For those of you who don't know who I am, my name is YN YLN and I grew up here in Charming. And for those of you who do know who I am.. let's party!"
The beat for the next song starts, and the crowd goes wild yet again. The song then cuts out and YN laughs as their whines.
"I apologize in advance for the foul language, but well.. if you're that worried about it maybe you should put some earmuffs on the little ears like these parents have done up here." YN points right at Jax and Tara, smiling and waving at the two of them. "Kudos to you guys because I drop f-bombs in some of my songs."
Tara chuckles as Jax calls out, "I figured! You dropped f-bombs all throughout high school too!"
YN's jaw drops as she laughs. "Touché, Teller." Then glancing back at the crowd, she says, "If you haven't guessed by now, this next song is called Happier Than Ever. If you know it, I wanna hear you scream it!"
The beat starts again.
"You called me again, drunk in your Benz. Drivin' home under the influence. You scared me to death, but I'm wasting my breath 'cause you only listen to your fuckin' friends." The crowd screams at the f-bomb, Jax and Opie shaking their head at the high school friend. "'Cause I'd never treat me this shitty. You made me hate this city."
The crowd erupts into song, riling themselves up as YN rocks out on stage. Front and center, Letty and Juice scream the lyrics right back at her. "And I don't talk shit about you on the internet. Never told anyone anything bad 'cause that shit's embarrassing. You were my everything, and all that you did was make me fucking sad."
Coco can't believe his daughter is losing her shit over this singer, but he can't deny how happy it makes him to see Letty be so carefree. Even if she is hanging off the shoulder of a Son.
"Hey, 'mano," Angel nudges Jax, "was she this hot in high school too?"
Jax snorts. "You interested?"
Having heard the conversation since they were shouting it, EZ worms his way in between them. "Please," he scoffs. "She's famous. There's no way she'll slum it with a biker from Santo Padre."
"Well, she did slum it with a biker from Charming," Opie muses.
"Will you four knock it off?" Gemma elbows her way between the four men. "Enjoy the show!"
YN sings a few more songs, back-to-back, and by the time she takes a breather she's panting and heaving on stage. The smile hasn't left her face, but it's obvious her set is coming to an end.
Dragging her stool to the very front of the stage and taking a seat in front of the fan blowing air on stage, YN runs her fingers through her hair before fanning herself as if it'll cool her off faster. She exhales roughly, laughing as the crowd is still in titters. "So, I debated how I wanted to end my set and I think I have it all figured out now," she says. The crowd whoops and YN takes a beat to collect her breath. "The night is winding down so I'm gonna go out with a slow song, but not just any 'ol song. The song I'm going to sing was actually written for me by someone who was very close to my heart. I've held onto it for years and I think it's time I share it with the world." YN glances over her shoulder, watching as a man steps forward, dragging his own stool to take a seat and settling his guitar in his lap. Once he's settled, YN nods at him before addressing the crowd once more. "Sorry in advance if I start bawling."
"It's okay! We love you!" Letty screams.
YN hears and chuckles, looking directly at Letty. "Thank you. I love you guys too." She glances at the guitarist then and nods again, and his fingers start plucking the strings to emit a calm tempo.
"Take it," she sings. "If she gives you her heart, don't you break it. Let your arms be a place she feels safe in. She's the best thing that you'll ever have."
Gemma and Jax glance at each other at the same time. "Near and dear?" He muses.
Gemma shrugs. "She never mentioned anybody."
"She loves pop songs and dancing and bad trash TV. There's still a few other things. She loves love notes and babies and likes giving gifts. Has a hard time accepting a good compliment."
"Yep. Sounds like her," Opie mutters.
As YN sings, she sways side to side on her stool, eyes closed. Then as the chorus is sung again, she reaches up with her free hand and quickly swipes under her eyes. Tara glances at Jax and he shrugs, smiling sadly before wrapping an arm around her shoulders and bringing her close to his side. Whoever wrote this song for her must have really loved her and they wonder if she ever got to experience that love.
"Kiss her with passion as much as you can. Run your hands through her hair whenever she's sad. And when she doesn't notice how pretty she is, tell her over and over so she never forgets."
The chorus comes up again and YN's voice cracks, and the backup singers are quick to pick up right away. She pulls the mic away, trying to smile through her heartache and tears. The crowd picks up on her emotional state and cheers for her, but YN quickly pulls herself together to finish the song.
"She'll love you if you love her like that."
As the song comes to an end, the crowd erupts. YN smiles before bursting into tears, setting her mic down on the stool as her guitarist quickly stands to hug her so she can hide her face. The crowd continues to cheer, some wiping tears of their own, and then YN collects herself long enough to take a bow and thank the crowd for coming.
Jax glances at Tara, only to find her wiping her own tears away. He chuckles at her before pressing a kiss to her forehead and then outright laughs when he sees Juice trying to subtly rid himself of his tears as well.
"This was the best night ever," Letty says, tucked under Coco's arm now. "Thanks for letting us roll up, Jax."
He smirks. "Don't even worry about it, kid. I'm glad you got to enjoy the concert from the front row."
"Night's not over, kiddos," Gemma cuts in. "We're VIP. We get to do a meet and greet."
Letty perks right back up and Gemma leads the group towards the back of the stage, opting for all of them to go last since they had a personal connection to YN.
. .
. .
After cleaning yourself up and making yourself presentable, you have a brief meet and greet with those who had scored VIP bracelets. You take pictures with them all, accepting a few gifts here and there, before a large group comes in together. When you see Gemma leading them, you can't help but laugh and rush up to hug her.
"Hey! I'm so glad you could make it."
"Baby, I wouldn't have missed it for the world." Gemma pulls back, looking you up and down before nodding in approval at whatever she sees. "I even brought some old friends and new ones."
"I can see that." You glance up and over her shoulder, smiling at the two troublemakers you remember from your youth. "Jax. Opie."
"YN." Both men step forward, pulling you into a group hug. Though one of the men broke your heart long ago, you feel nothing but platonic love for your blonde ex.
"God, it's good to see you boys." As you pull back, you catch Jax sheepishly smiling at you.
"I, uh, I want you to meet my wife Tara."
As he reaches for someone just behind him, you smile at the pretty brunette. "Ah. So, you're the infamous Tara." Her smile falters and you wink at her, offering her your hand to shake. "It's nice to finally meet you, even though I'm pretty sure we graduated the same year."
"Likewise." Tara grins. "And can I just say, you're a great singer."
"Thanks." Your eyes slide to the boy in her arms and it takes everything not to coo. Your gaze slides down further to the boy who's holding both Tara and Jax's hands. "Jesus, the Teller genes are really strong in those two."
Jax laughs. "This one standing is Abel and the one in Tara's arms is Thomas."
"How the hell did you end up with angels for kids while I birthed the spawn of Satan?"
Nearly everyone in the room snorts with the exception of Gemma who arches an eyebrow at you. "You got a kid?"
"Mommy!"
You wince. "Speak of the devil." Turning around, you bend down and scoop up the dark-haired terror making a beeline for you. "Luna, mi amor!" You hug her, kiss her cheek, and then pull back to playfully narrow your eyes at her. "Why aren't you asleep, young lady?"
"Because you sang my favorite song!"
"All my songs are your favorite songs."
"Mhm."
Your eyes narrow further. "They gave you candy, didn't they?"
Luna's eyes go wide in her excitement. "So much!"
The room's occupants laugh again and you shake your head. Hitching your daughter on your hip, you turn to face everyone. "Everyone, this is Luna. Love of my life, pain in the butt, but all around a pretty decent kid." She giggles as you tickle her stomach. "Luna, these are mommy's friends from school Opie, Jax and Tara. Tara's boys Abel and Thomas, and then Jax's mommy Gemma."
"And what about them?" Luna points out the other individuals in the room you've yet to meet and your eyes go wide.
"Oh my god. I'm so sorry! Hi! Hello." You lurch towards the group of five grinning at you. You shake each of their hands. "Thank you for coming. I hope you enjoyed the show."
"Don't even worry about it, hermosa. And we did." You smile at the handsome man, trying not to blush under his gaze. "I'm Angel."
You glance at the man next to him and he smiles, sticking his hand out. "EZ. Or Ezekiel."
"Hi, EZ."
"Coco. And the whole reason why we're down here is because my daughter Letty is a huge fan." He gestures to the petite brunette beneath his arm and you smile at her.
"H-Hi. It's so cool to meet you. I'm a huge fan."
"Hi, Letty. And thank you. It's always nice to hear that someone enjoys the music you put out."
"I'm, uh, I'm Juice," the final person says. "I came with Jax and the others, but kinda didn't wanna interrupt the whole reunion going on."
"You should have." You chuckle. "I don't think anyone would have cared."
"Mommy," Luna suddenly pipes up, suddenly shy. "I need to potty."
"Alright, babe. One more minute." She nods and you kiss the crown of her head. "Mommy duty calls."
"Don't sweat it, baby," Gemma says.
"Hey, uh, if no one is in a rush to head home, is there a place we can hang out? I really would really like if we could catch up."
"Yeah. The clubhouse is free," Jax says. His gaze then slides over to the Mayans. "You guys are more than welcome to come hang too."
Letty perks up, attention snapping to her dad and expression pleading. He groans, and EZ and Angel laugh. Angel agrees for their group and YN promises to meet them at the clubhouse once she tends to Luna.
"I actually need to put the boys down," Tara says. "Sorry."
You smile reassuringly at her. "Don't be. Thanks for coming. It was nice to meet you."
"Same."
As Jax walks his wife out, Opie calls out to the Mayans and tells them he'll take the lead on the way to the clubhouse. You wave off Gemma when she offers you a ride and tell her you'll be there as soon as possible, and to make sure no croweaters are around because Luna will be tagging along. She laughs, but agrees to kick everyone out.
After tending to Luna and making sure she's okay with visiting with the people she had just met, you buckle her into her car seat and wind through the familiar streets of Charming until you're pulling up outside of Teller-Morrow Automotive.
Hand in hand with Luna, you walk into the clubhouse and shake your head in bewilderment. "Wow. This place hasn't changed a bit."
"I do not believe it," a voice rings out. "YN, as I live and breathe." The owner of the voice stands up from where everyone had congregated, and you beam at the man you used to tease about marrying when you were younger. Chibs. "And with a wee lass of her own? Times really have changed."
"Hi, Chibs." You walk forward, hugging him with only one arm as Luna refuses to let your hand go. "It's been a while."
"I'll say." As he steps back to take you in, he crouches in front of your daughter. "Hello, lass. Name's Chibs. I used to bail your mom out of jail."
You kick out at him as your daughter's eyes light up and you mentally groan. You know she'll remember that for the rest of her life. "If she blackmails me with that, you're dead."
"She's a bit young for blackmail, isn't she?" Jax calls out.
You shake your head as you find a seat in the corner of a sofa, pulling Luna down next to you. "It's all the Spanish blood running through her veins. She's a menace."
"Wait, you're Spanish?" Angel asks.
You glance at him, grinning. "Yeah. Could you not tell?"
"Well, I didn't want to assume, querida. In this day and age, people are really sensitive about that stuff."
You open your mouth to retort before snapping it shut. He wasn't wrong.
"So, what the hell have you been up to?" Opie asks.
Settling into your seat, you grin. "After I left Charming, I applied for college. Spent four years in school and in my last year is when I met my husband."
"Yeah? And where is he now?" Gemma asks.
Your smile falters, but before you can answer, Luna does. "Daddy's in Heaven with the other angels." Everyone looks at you in surprise and you shrug. "Mommy, I'm thirsty."
Immediately, Juice stands up. "Hey, kid, come on. I think we got something you can drink in the refrigerator."
Luna looks at you for your direction and you grin at her, nudging her to go. She hops off the sofa and walks towards Juice, reaching for his outstretched hand. You smile gratefully at him and when he disappears behind a door, you say, "Andres had a brain aneurysm. Went to bed one night and never woke up."
"Jesus, baby, I'm so sorry."
You nod at Gemma, smiling softly. "Thank you. I've come to terms with his passing long ago, but sometimes I'll do something or someone will say something and I'll get emotional all over again."
"He's the near and dear person you were talking about when you sang that last song, isn't he?" Letty asks. Everyone looks at her and Coco nudges her. She winces and punches him back. "What? I just- I'm sorry. I just assumed because the lyrics were that of someone truly close to her."
You smile at the teenager. "You assumed correctly. Andres wrote that song and he sang it at our wedding."
"So what are your plans now?" Jax asks, changing the subject. "Luna's at that age where she can start school. You going to homeschool her or..?"
You sigh before admitting, "I want to get her enrolled into a school. I'll have to take a major break from the music industry so she can have a normal childhood, but that's all part of being a parent so.."
"Abel's starting school this year too," Gemma muses. "I'm sure he and Luna can use a familiar face in school when they start."
"A Teller and a YLN?" Opie groans. "The teachers won't know what hit them."
"We'll be called for a parent/teacher conference by the end of the week," you mumble.
The group chuckles and when Luna reappears, a little too bright eyed for having just something to drink, you put Juice on babysitting duty. He happily accepts and it isn't long before Opie, Chibs, Gemma and Jax are regaling the Mayan crew about your youth.
Opie tells them all about your stints in detention because of some chick fight you always seemed to be in, Gemma tells them about you and Jax hotwiring a car during a dare, and Chibs tells them about when he had to bail you out of jail for public indecency.
"I was peeing on the side of the road! It wasn't like I was flashing my kitty cat to the world," you grumble.
As the night continues on, you learn about Jax taking over for the Sons and how he made peace with everyone. You muse about wondering how they were at complete ease with the Mayans because the last you remembered, they were on different sides of a war. Then you end up taking pictures with everyone- Juice and Letty getting their own solo pics with you, but everyone else groups together. Gemma and Chibs stand on either side of you, arms wrapped around your shoulders and waist, for one pic. Opie and Jax for another. And then Angel and Coco stand on either side of you with EZ standing on Coco's other side.
When your time is coming to an end, you're surprised to see your daughter on the lap of a Mayan. Angel looks smug as can be that Luna chose him, sitting sideways on his lap with her forehead pressed to his neck as she's half awake, half asleep.
"Well, it seems that's my cue to go and check into our hotel room," you say, gesturing to your daughter.
"What are your plans for tomorrow?" Gemma asks.
"Luna and I are going to be at the festival. I have loads of food coupons and wristbands for free entrance and unlimited rides."
"Lucky," Juice grumbles.
"I have more than enough if anyone wants to tag along. I wouldn't mind some of you guys coming, actually, to keep the people at bay."
"Sorry, darlin'," Jax slightly frowns. "We got a run tomorrow."
"And I have errands," Gemma mutters.
"I'm not doing anything tomorrow!" Letty immediately perks up.
You glance at her and then at her dad who's shaking his head. "I gotta get back to make a run for Bishop."
"I'm free," EZ says. "I can give Letty a ride back if the Sons are okay with us staying in Charming."
"Yeah. That's not a problem," Jax says.
Letty turns a pleading gaze to his father and he sighs. "Fine. You can stay."
"One call and I'm free," Angel muses. "I doubt my baby brother will be enough to keep anyone at bay all on his lonesome."
"Thanks. I'd appreciate it."
You spend a few more minutes hammering out the details, trading numbers with EZ, Angel and Letty so you can meet up with them tomorrow and give them their wristbands. Jax offers up a few dorms for the Mayans there at the clubhouse so they don't have to worry about booking any rooms anywhere, and then Angel's offering to carry Luna to the car you had rented when you stand up to retrieve her.
You spend a few minutes hugging your old friends, promising Gemma you would be in touch because you were serious about settling down and wanted her help looking into houses. She was more than ecstatic to hear that and promised to start looking around Charming first.
As you're walking towards your vehicle with Angel at your back, you open up the back door for him. He moves to settle Luna into her seat and her hand drags across his beard. "Mommy?" She sleepily calls out.
"Yes, baby?"
"This one's pretty. Can we keep him?"
Both you and Angel snort at her words, and you can only shake your head at your daughter's audacity. "Well, mami, what's it gonna be?" He asks, crossing his arms over his well-toned chest.
"¡Cállate!" You huff a laugh. "We already have un perro, we don't need another."
"Ouch, querida, that hurt." His shoulders shake as he tries not to laugh too loud and disturb your daughter's sleep.
"Just call 'em as I see 'em, guapo." You smile at him, softening your previous words. "Thanks for carrying her. I'll see you guys tomorrow."
"Buenas noches, hermosa."
You grin at him. "Buenas noches."
Tumblr media
You and your daughter Luna sleep in the next day, only waking up when the urge to pee can no longer be ignored. Luna is still dead to the world when you finish up your business and then decide to shower when she won't be fighting for your attention while you're naked.
You're ordering some brunch when she finally wakes and then afterwards you help her through her morning routine so she's awake enough to eat without fuzzy teeth. Then once she's full, you help her bathe and dress, and put her hair up into two buns with the ends of her hair sticking out at the bottom to give it a fun and crazy look.
You somehow end up with the same hairstyle as Luna since it made you look a little different and you hoped it was enough to deter any fans from approaching. Then you put on a pair of Aviator sunglasses that had a blue-ish, purple tint, and grabbed up all the wristbands and food coupons you had left over after distributing some to your tour crew.
When you meet up with your group for the day, Letty squeals over your and Luna's hairstyle and immediately busies herself with your daughter. You laugh, shake your head at her, and then greet Angel and EZ with hugs.
"You boys ready for today?" You ask. You gesture for Angel to raise his hand and he does, and you're quick to wrap two bands- neon green and orange- around his wrist. "Someone better get on the SlingShot with me."
"Count me out." EZ chuckles as he offers you his own wrist so you can wrap two bands around him too. "I'll take Luna when you get on though."
"Gatito," you mutter. The brothers laugh as you move onto Letty and Luna, wrapping wristbands around their wrists as well. Then when you're done, Letty wraps the wristbands around your own wrists. "So," you sigh, addressing the group at large, "the plan is for you guys to follow me so you can park the bikes where no one will mess with them. Letty, if you want, you can ride with me and Luna."
"Hell yes."
Once you get Luna situated back in her car seat and Letty buckles up in your passenger seat, you drive towards the festival grounds. You have access to the private parking in the back and you briefly stop to tell security that the two men on motorcycles are with you.
"Alright." You clap your hands excitedly once you're out of your vehicle and everyone is gathered around once again. "Who's excited for some thrills and the most unhealthiest of foods?"
"Me!" Luna screams.
You divide up a handful of food coupons between you and Letty, the two of you shoving them into your pockets since you had a less chance of losing them with how tight your shorts were. Plans were made so that the adult who didn't get on a ride would hold all the phones and then you were off, Luna holding onto your and Letty's hands while Angel and EZ walked a step behind the three of you.
Luna doesn't waste a second before choosing a ride of her choice, choosing a miniature roller coaster in the shape of a dragon that merely went in a loop with a few hills here and there. You can see the horror on her face at the first small drop, but the cheering from you, Angel, EZ and Letty ends up making her laugh and forget all about it.
She goes on the swings and then the train by herself, and then you and Letty get on the enormous slide and the carousel with her much to Angel's amusement. But then the tables are turned when she wants to get on the spinning pool balls, and asks Angel and EZ to get on with her. You and Letty get on as well, phones at the ready to record the broody Reyes brothers on the cheerful spinning carnival ride.
When Luna starts to be uninterested in getting on rides, you decide to feed her. Everyone eats something small while your daughter stuffs her face, and then she gets her face painted and manages to get the Reyes brothers to compete for one of the large plush unicorns for her. Angel wins it and becomes unbearably smug about it, and then the rest of you decide to hit up the funhouses before opting for a ride since the corndogs and lemonade were still heavy in your stomachs.
You and Letty laugh your heads off in the House of Mirrors when Angel walks into a mirror and hits his forehead pretty hard. In another funhouse that has a few different obstacles to overcome, you and Letty stumble over a conveyor belt hallway that changes direction every few seconds. EZ pokes fun when you stumble out of the spinning tunnel at the end, and then you and Letty urge him to do better.
And better he does not do.
The moment EZ steps onto the conveyor belt and it changes direction, he hits the ground with his knees. The look of surprise on his face has you, Angel and Letty losing your collective shits. The belt jerks forwards and backwards, and EZ curses up a storm as he tries to get his feet beneath him while holding onto the railing. By the time he's stumbling out of the spinning tunnel at the end and glaring at the funhouse operator, you and Angel are practically holding each other up with tears in your eyes.
The Ferris Wheel buckets are enough for all five of you to get on and Letty takes plenty of photos of all you inside the bucket plus an aerial view of the carnival all lit up down below. You drag Letty onto the Zipper and the Fireball with you, and before you decide to eat dinner, you beg Angel to get on the SlingShot with you.
Angel's as confident as can be until he actually sees what the SlingShot is and then you can see his confidence waver. But EZ steps in, calls him a coward, and then Angel's dragging you to the line. There are not too many adrenaline junkies so you make it to the front of the line fairly quickly, and all too soon you're being strapped into the spherical seat.
You have to bite back a laugh when Angel makes absolutely sure the ride operator has him secured in properly, but end up caving when you hear Letty and EZ teasing him from the safety of their positions. And when you glance at them, your heart melts a little to see Luna happily seated on EZ's shoulders as Letty holds onto her unicorn for her.
You and Angel are waiting in your seat when you notice a little red light on the camera in front of you turn on. The spherical seat you're in gets reclined backwards so you're now looking up at the darkened sky and you snort when you see Angel cross himself from the corner of your eye.
Glancing directly at the camera, you wink and completely school your expression. "Hey, Angel?"
"Yeah, hermosa?"
"I think we fucked up. I'm having second thoughts."
"Jesus fuckin'- don't tell me that. I didn't even want to get on this ride to begin with!"
You laugh as he starts to curse and then the ride operator starts a countdown. You can hear EZ and Letty join in as you grip tight to the bars that are sitting over your chest, and then the ride operator green lights the ride. You and Angel shoot upward, your scream of terror soon turning into screams of laughter as Angel curses up a storm next to you.
As your seat continues to bounce, turning this way that way and slowing down, you decide to mess with him some more.
"Angelito?"
"What?"
You smirk at the hint of a bite in his tone. "I think I'm gonna hurl."
"¡Hijo de puta!" He curses and you snort, shaking with suppressed laughter. "You better not, querida. You better lock that shit down right now."
You're still giggling when the ride comes to a complete stop and the ride operator releases you from your restraints. Angel hurriedly stomps off the platform and you rush to a set of TV monitors to see the pictures. They're absolutely hilarious and you quickly shell out money for the pictures and the DVD video of it all.
With your purchases in hand, you finally rejoin your friends and daughter.
"Did you seriously buy all that bullshit?"
"You bet your sweet ass I did," you tell Angel, causing Letty and EZ to laugh some more. "Now who's hungry?"
With Luna on EZ's shoulders, he leads the way to all the food booths. Everyone takes their time figuring out what they want to eat and after waiting in line at a couple different booths, everyone gathers around a picnic table to eat their findings.
And after eating a cheeseburger with chili cheese fries and half a funnel cake, you can barely manage to keep yourself upright. Your elbows are on the table, chin resting on the palms of your hands as you watch Luna eat and exhibit far too much energy than you think she should be capable of right now.
As soon as Angel finishes his last taco, he wipes his hands off with a napkin and stands up just enough to turn in his seat. Now straddling the bench, he pulls you in so you're resting against his chest. You happen to catch EZ's gaze across the table and he wiggles his eyebrows at you. You roll your eyes and practically melt into his brother.
"So, what's the plan now that you've done your obligation to the festival committee?" EZ asks.
You shrug. "Find a house and plant roots, I guess."
"You were really serious about that?" Letty asks. "Would you still be making music?"
"I want to," you admit. "I love writing, but after tonight- after having a normal night of fun with you guys and my daughter, I just want her to have a semi-decent childhood where people aren't crowding us."
"Where are you going to look for a house at?" Angel asks.
"Most likely here in Charming. Gemma wasn't wrong when she said it would be nice for Jax's kid and my kid to have a familiar face with them when we leave them on their own."
"You don't think that'll be weird? Your kid and your ex's kid going on playdates and shit."
"No." You laugh. "While I can admit Teller aged like a fine wine-" Letty snorts across from you, "-I can also admit that there is no longing or what if's when I look at him. I'm happy Jax and Tara found their way back to each other. Luna wouldn't be here if Jax hadn't broken up with me, so for that I'm also kind of grateful. I don't think I can picture my life without that tiny terror."
"So that's that, huh? You're just gonna be a mom now?" Letty arches an eyebrow at you.
"Sort of. I'll still write, but most likely just sell the songs. I have to keep the cash rolling in somehow," you muse. "And when Luna's old enough, then and only then will I think about getting back into a recording studio."
"Well, whatever you decide, querida, we'll support you."
"Yeah? You think you'll still be around that long down the line, huh?"
"Of course. You've got blackmail material on me. I ain't goin' nowhere."
EZ laughs at his brother. "I need to see that video, YN. The boys back in Santo Padre would pay to see it too."
"Fuck that." Angel frowns. "No one's seeing a goddamn thing."
"Little ears, Angel!" Letty glares at him, covering Luna's ears with her hands. "Shut up."
"I'm pretty she's heard worse or have you not heard her ma?"
You smirk and wink at Letty. "I can't wait until I can attend those PTA meetings. These Charming mothers won't know what hit them."
"Yeah?" EZ chuckles. "I've heard stories about Teller's wife. I have a feeling the two of you are going to piss off a lot of these PTA moms."
"Oh, I'm counting on it."
Songs used in this fic are White Flag by Bishop Briggs, Happier Than Ever by Billie Eilish, and If You Love Her by Forest Blakk.

Using: #11. fresh baked bread + #12. Walk in the woods from the spring OTP prompt list.
Track listened to while writing?

They always say you don’t have enough time in the world. Most usually think the opposite and unconsciously live life like it’s any other day, that it’s limitless yet it’s anything but. For the last week it felt like there was just something weighing on your chest and your gut was telling you that time was running out. You tried to blame it on your clinical depression but this was different.
At the start of the new week you started to pay attention to everything more. How everyone in the house was on the go, you always at the bakery at the crack of dawn, preparing breads and pastries with your small crew for the morning rush, Letty doing instacart and showing up whenever she wanted or whenever her piece of shit boyfriend decided to pick her up, and with Coco…he was always on call. To you it just felt like none of you were spending enough time together lately and you wanted to change that.
Well…you attempted to.
The electric dough mixer down at the bakery decided to break after just spending $800+ on it a month ago—thankfully you had warranty on it so another one was being shipped out to you free of charge while the delivery service took the broken one off your hands. Bad news? It was on delay since apparently all the bakers wanted this dough maker so you had to wait two weeks for it. Which also means!! You all had to use your hands more, since there were only three available table top mixers.
“If the work becomes too much, just shut down for a few days, mamita. You deserve it.” Johnny suggested one night, the both of you sitting on your bed as he rubbed at your shoulders.
You leaned into his touch, reaching one hand up to rest against his hand, “Only if you take a break from the club.”
“…we’re not doin’ that tit for tat shit. And I already took a long enough break, don’t you think?” He stopped massaging you for a moment.
Sighing you answered, “yeah against your will, we all know you’re dealing with a disease.”
“Let’s,” he started to raise his voice and lowered his tone and softened his touch, “not go that route tonight. It was just a suggestion, you’re clearly stressed out and could use a break. And I’m trying to get back on track so it sounds like we all gotta do what’s best for us.”
You hummed, too exhausted to argue with your boyfriend for the night and slowly moved from his grasp. Coco’s intense eyes watched your entire being as you slid over to your side of the bed, reached into your night stand to tie your headscarf over your hair.
“Okay.” You finalized, reaching to toss the covers back as you rested underneath them with a yawn.
The man watched you for a moment before he got off the bed to flip off the light switch. Once beside you, he tangled your legs together and pressed his forehead in between your shoulder blades. Once you felt that you began to slowly close your eyes until he asked, “is it though?”
“I’m willing to spend time with not only you but letty. Our family. We have to find balance for each other here and you don’t want to call your health condition what it is…fine. You only want to share that at meetings? Oh-kay . We’ll do that your way but that’s part of life, we have to make time for each other. So…y’all let me know when we can fit into our busy schedule’s.” You mumbled, “goodnight.”
Johnny huffed out a breath against your back but tightened a hold on your waist for the night.
It was a Wednesday when Coco told you Marcus encouraged him and others to head out to Oakland this weekend and of course he took that opportunity. Coco could see that you were disappointed that he would be leaving and Letty seemed indifferent since she could always find something else to get into. Although the both of you shared deep conversations (only when Letty felt like being vulnerable that is) you knew that half of that was for show.
Although you knew this trip was for good measure, you had that sinking feeling sitting in your gut again. You were tight smiles as Coco talked about how good this would be to honor their fallen brothers yet you couldn’t help but to feel selfish about it.
“What’s your weekend, plans?” Coco asked, as he shifted you from the mirror as you finished twisting a section of your hair into a final knot.
He shuffled through drawers.
Pressing your tongue into your cheek, you breathed out a laugh and exited the bathroom. Coco shortly followed after you, tossing a arched tattooed leg up onto your bed to moisturize.
“What’s up your ass, huh?”
Your eyebrows raised as you glanced at him from over your phone. Facing your body in his direction, you turned your eyes into slits, “did our conversation two days ago not mean anything to you?”
The long haired man furrowed his brows, “you mean everything to me, you’re basically the other side of my heart, so yeah any conversation means something.”
Chewing on your bottom lip you deeply inhaled at that. You’d be a fool if you said those words didn’t make butterflies float around in your belly but you were more of a actions kinda person. Talking about the fairytales were always peaceful and it was always tough to get there but lately it felt like you were getting off track again.
Everything was becoming a routine rather than a necessity.
“So…you’re going to Oakland.”
He dipped his head, “I’ll be back early Sunday morning. You know it’s for a good reason.”
“Which I get…but it doesn’t feel right. Why can’t you honor your brothers here? Close to home instead.” You softly said.
Coco moved around the bed to plop down beside you, “‘Cause Marcus saw what efforts I’ve been putting in for this club. He trusts me to go out there and bond with another charter by paying our respects to something we share in common, the lost of family. I can’t pass that up. I know you understand that, right?”
“Of course I understand,” you huffed, “it’s a given when you get involved with someone in a risk taking club but sometimes I just wish you would put this family first too…what if you lose us?”
Instantly coco gripped your hand, getting you to meet his gaze. “Hey, I don’t ever want to hear you talk about that possibility. I don’t want to go back to that thought either, I had enough of that shit back on the mm.”
He searched your eyes which held worry in them. With his free hand he gripped your chin and ran his thumb gently over your brown skin, “I hear you though. As long as I got you and you got me, that’ll never be a lost. I even got plans for the both us tomorrow…oh yeah, I forgot to mention you’re taking a personal day from the shop.”
Coco watched as your frame brightened, almost like that special flower that needs the night to grow, at the news; despite the darkening bags that sat underneath your eyes. It was your turn to grip Coco’s now bare shoulder, “where are we going, johnny?”
“It’s a surprise, mamita. You better rest up.” He leaned forward to press a kiss to your cheek.
“How do you expect me to sleep when you just told me I get to spend time with my best friends tomorrow?”
Coco laughed pinching your chin, “you’re so fucken cute, mamita. I’m just happy that I can make a piece of my heart happy too.”
Pressing your lips to his, you pulled back while knuzzling your bulbous nose against his crooked pointed one.
“…Think you can help put me to sleep?” You questioned, caressing a finger against his bare waist.
His famous lopsided smile appeared on his lips, “I’d be honored to.” Before he pounced on you.
Letty wasn’t home by the time the two of you headed out. He sent her the address and told her to meet the two of you there if she wanted to be part of this moment and she sarcastically sent back some emojis in her typical teenage fashion. The two of you rode out of santo padre for at least half an hour and stopped on the side of the road, just for coco to blind fold you.
“So I know this is one of your kinks and everything bro but um, couldn’t we have discussed this before? I’m still trying to hold onto these lash extensions considering that money’s tight.” You responded, trying to loosen the hold on the back of your dome.
One thing about Johnny Cruz? The man was definitely heavy handed.
“We’re another ten minutes out, it won’t be that long. You can handle it, I promise.”
“I guess…” you trailed off, turning your head to where the passenger window would be.
You convinced your long time boyfriend that taking your car over his bike would be best, just in case Letty wanted to ride back home with you two. If you would have known you’d be off-roading a bit you would have saved your sweet Hyundai hatchback the trouble. Your eyes went wide as you felt the car rocking from side to side and thought you were on the verge of a car accident but Coco’s laughs and squeeze to your thigh gave some reassurance.
Once the car was in park, you sighed touching your chest before fumbling to unbuckle yourself from the car. Coco assisted you out of the car and stood in front of you to take the blind fold off.
Flinching at the partly cloudy sunlight you glanced around the man to see nothing but huge trees, dirt, and the smell of evergreen.
“Where are we?”
He didn’t answer your question, reaching forward to grip your hand, “Want to go for a mini hike?”
“Is that why you wanted me to wear these itchy ass gym pants?”
His free hand slid down your side before reaching backwards to give it a nice smack, “yeah…they’re also my favorite on you.” He winked while you shoved him back playfully.
“Nah, I just wanted you to be comfortable and enjoy the view. C’mon.” He led the way, intertwining his hands with yours.
The walk through the woods made the both of you feel at ease, despite you being clueless on the area ,you felt safe with the guy you’ve known since you were seventeen and it blew your mind to still be standing here after everything the both of you went through.
It truly was a blessing.
You felt yourself wanting to be closer and pulled yourself underneath his arm as you slowly walked through the woods, simply enjoying each other’s company. After a moment you found yourself looking up, feeling much smaller underneath the trees that stood above the both of you. You were chilly underneath the spring air and coco always felt cold but the weight of him surely blocked that feeling out. A white butterfly flew by your eyes, pulling you from the sky while the birds chirped along with each step you both took.
Once you approached a white bridge, you stopped to peer out at the lake to your right.
“…what you think?” Coco asked after a moment of white noise.
Blinking you looked at him, “there’s swans here?”
“Huh? Oh yeah they’re were fuckin’ annoying the last time I came out here so don’t get too excited about ‘em, they might turn up missing.” The braided-haired man glared at the green water while you snorted at the irritation on his face, “but I wasn’t talking about that. I’m talking about the house.”
The what?
Coco easily picked up the confusion on your face and lifted his chin in the direction of the said house that sat over and back from the water.
“Let’s go.” He smiled at your speechlessness and tugged you over the bridge and down a slope and over to what appeared to be a deep- red single family home.
Your eyes kept wandering around, the large plot of dirt that covered the driveway had you in awe. Even if you could afford multiple cars, it would take plenty to fill this lot but any parties hosted here you were sure everyone could fit here…as soon as you figured out another route to get here that is.
“That makeshift garage over there that Gilly fucked up, we can store the bikes and of course your car there, especially when we get those sandstorms.” Coco casually said before carrying on to the white picket fence that boarded the home.
He undid the latch before leading you into the front yard. A white door contrasted against the darker tone of the house and another covered by a Spanish lace black steel security door. There were large and medium sized windows on each corner of the house and to your left a white gated area (which also seemed to hold a chicken coop behind?) followed by a pathway in between.
“Want to head in?”
“Johnny…don’t play with me.” You started with a inhale, “what is this?”
He lifted his shoulders nonchalantly, “A house. Our house if you want it to be.”
Clenching your eyes shut you shook your head, “we can’t possibly afford this. How much is this? Is it renting or to purchase?”
“It’s ours mamita.” He pressed, gripping your forearms, “don’t stress, I got us. Remember months ago you said we needed our own space to grow together and it’s bigger than what we have now.”
Yes you liked the idea of having something new for the three of you, to grow better. It may have been what you needed but the both of you knew Johnny wasn’t the best when it came to money and that was before the dr*g habit swerved in.
“It’s got enough space for us, two bedrooms until leticia actually means what she says when she wants to get the fuck out, and two bathrooms. Our own laundry area, more storage space, a extra living space, our own lake.” He listed with his fingers.
You interrupted, “what is this madness, Florida?”
Coco snorted as he continued, “and the kitchen? I know you’re gonna love it. Me, Gilly, and Creeper just finished the floors the other day. Mind you it still needs a shit ton of work but I’m down to do it for us, you know?”
Your silence was beginning to make Coco anxious as his hold on your hand became fingers linked with yours instead.
“Take me inside then, show me what we’re working with.” You waved him forward.
It was his turn to beam at you as he gripped both sides of your face to kiss you. Smiling into the kiss, he gripped your hand and fished his jean pockets to find the key. As you stepped into the home you always kept in mind that the living situations here always required dim lighting since majority of the homes were built in the 1950’s and up. You were met with tile floors with a rug rolled off to the side, you weren’t sure what this open space was truly meant for but it could work for what it seemed like it was made for, a nice entrance way: coat racks, benches to put your shoes on your way out, large mirror against one wall, a runner on the floor, a large circle table with a floral arrangement, with possibly a nice light feature installed to brighten it up.
Excitement began to show on your face as you briefly touched the walls.
“This was originally a dining area? The kitchen is up to the right and the living room is right across from it.” Coco explained, “listen to me sounding like a preppy ass real estate agent.”
“If you were, maybe my room would be even bigger.” A voice called out making the man roll his eyes.
Easily recognizing the voice you followed it, glancing over at the carpeted living room which had a wood oven tucked in the corner, you entered the kitchen instead to find Letty leaning against the counter. The counters were on the lighter side, tan and looked fairly new. Your eyes immediately went to the floor and you were in love. Clasping your hands together you looked back at Coco who causally shrugged his shoulders.
“You did this?!”
“Mostly, yeah. The refurbishing the cabinets were a real pain in my ass though.” He commented.
“You did that!” You looked over at the white fridge, “I apologize to you Nene but as long as it works I don’t really care!”
Letty snorted as she also looked over at the fridge herself and then went over to the oven, “so what’s the verdict, y/n?”
“Oh I want it. It’s going to be a commute to work once we actually live in this but it’s a new beginning and I think we all need it.” You answered, still looking around, moving to peek at the indoor porch area?
“Are you sure?” Coco asked.
You stared out the window located in the indoor porch and felt a smile appear on your lips as you thought about the new memories that will be made here. Spinning on your heels you kept that smile on your lips as you held your arms out and tossed them around Coco’s neck.
“I still need the details about how this all went down but I’m too happy right now to worry about it.”
“Good,” he pecked your lips, “I don’t want you to worry about a thing anymore.”
“I love you, Johnny.”
“I love you too, even when you’re being all gushy and shit.” He smiled down at your lips which you smacked with a roll of your eyes.
“Alright enough of this romance shit, let’s eat this over baked bread which coco wanted me to bring here for you. Don’t worry before you even ask, yes it’s fresh…I think y/n!” Letty shoved her way in between you two; holding a charcuterie board?
Shaking your head at the girl you peaked down at the board spotting some type of cheese you wouldn’t be eating, grapes, salami, and your favorite: pumpernickel bread waiting for you.
“Did you call this over baked bread, leticia?” You pulled a large piece apart and shoved it into your mouth as the girl nodded, “it’s supposed to look like this. Just extra melanin to it, nothing wrong with that.”
“Well when you put it that way, of course not.”
“This is one my top favorite breads. Keeps you full since it’s heavy, slightly on the sweet side and made with sourdough and ground rye. Originally from Germany too.” You summarized as you held out the other piece to share with Johnny who tossed it into his mouth.
Letty widened her eyes and spun away, “and here I thought I dropped out of school.”
“Yeah…we’re gonna discuss that soon too.” Coco addressed, making the girl slightly frown at him but said nothing more, not sure if she really believed that.
You felt your own brows raise at that statement but the smile of your face out-beat it. You went over to the counter touching the material before grabbing another piece of bread.
“Did you show y/n the haunted part of the house, coco?” Letty grinned, lightly elbowing you.
Choking a bit, you peered at Coco who glared at his daughter who bit back a laugh.
“It’s not haunted.”
“Gilly thinks it is too.” Letty added, “it’s definitely eerie. You’ll see what I’m talking about soon, I’m sure.”
“Uh uh, now I don’t want to finish that part of the tour. I told y’all my grams is a preacher and she always told us any evil can latch onto you and that’s the last thing I need.” You did a cross motion over your chest.
Letty hummed, “isn’t your dad also a pro-golfer? Damn girl you should have brought a club with you then.”
“Letty shut the—stop talking! She’s kidding, matter of fact we’ll all go and see it’s not even that bad. We got to walk through there to get to the laundry room anyways.” Coco waved you along but you weren’t budging.
Coco sucked his teeth and charged over to the both of you, grabbing the both of you and going out the other door which led back to the front yard. Down the first narrow pathway you went—against your will, which led to another wooden gate leaving coco to unlatch that as well before turning to the right which led to the supposed haunted area. You spotted a light switch to the right of the house and cautiously stepped forward with Letty’s arm holding onto yours.
Coco was up ahead, sliding some doors open to show what would be the laundry area. When he looked back at the two of you, he sucked his teeth.
“Could you two move any slower?!”
“Hey!” You called out, “I’m putting my faith in my girl here…this area is giving Jason voorhees.”
Letty exclaimed, “see!”
Once you got next to the man, you stood in silence for a bit eyeing the laundry area and slightly nodded your head before leaning towards the dark haired man.
“Ki Ki Ki, ma ah ma.” You muttered the famous theme song making Coco pull his body away from you in pure annoyance, while you and Letty both shared a laugh.
“Alright then,” Coco sniffed before he latched onto your wrist.
Oh no.
“Wait!” You pleaded, “I don’t think I should be man handled right now, I just ate. Can we do this a little bit later when my bread digests?”
Coco shifted his eyes, thinking about it. “No. you’ve been talking shit so it’s two strikes and you’re out.”
‘That’s not really how it works…’ you thought.
“What did I do?! I didn’t say anything negative, just that it’s giving Florida and camp crystal lake combined! You need to talk to your daughter and her smart mouth. I love our new home because it’s ours! I’m super thankful. So whatever idea you got stirring in your Scorpio brain just forget it, let’s finish the tour, papi.” You attempted to plead your case but there was no going back when you became coco’s target.
He latched onto your thighs and flipped you over his shoulders with ease. Letty followed after the both of you, phone out recording the whole ordeal as Coco wrestled you to ground and legit sat on you.
“Johnny!” You screamed, “Get off me! You’re getting grass in my hair.”
“You got those Bantu shits in you’re fine,” He dismissed, “Letty get the hose.”
“I think the fuck not.” You mumbled as your self-defense class skills came in handy as you wrestled with the man you loved.
Now sitting on coco’s chest, you scrambled as he bucked to get you off him. Letty tossed you the hose and now it was your choice to turn it on and when no water flowed through, you frowned.
“Ha! The water hasn’t been turned on yet but I could always throw your ass into the lake out back.” He explained.
“And you’ll never see me again if you do.” You rolled your neck down at the man.
Coco kissed his teeth, “you ain’t goin’ nowhere, you’re mine.”
“You promise?”
“Obviously. I’m letting that perfect ass crush our heart right now for nothing.” Coco slightly wheezed, making you roll your eyes as you leaned over to kiss his lips.
That’s when he flipped you two over, but you didn’t seem to mind as much with his tongue fighting for entrance pass your lips and him hitching your legs up and over his hips.
“Ugh! I thought we were gonna get a beat down but it looks like it’s headed The Kim k and Ray J route so I’m outta here, gotta cut the cameras!” Letty scowled going back to her phone while you laughed and you were pretty sure Coco flipped her the bird.
He muttered against your lips, “ours is better anyways, much better! Those two don’t even know what a true masterpiece is.”
“Johnny, shut up!” You covered his mouth while he winked at you and Letty scrunched up her lips as she went back inside and far away from you two.
He laughed, pecking your lips again but not without lightly nipping your bottom lip before he moved to sit beside you. He searched his jeans for a cigarette as you rested your head in his lap.
“Tell the truth, you like it, you love it, or you not feelin’ it?” He said around the stick in his mouth.
Which you snatched from him and lightly tugged on one of his pigtails to grasp his attention, “I love it, you said it’s ours. Its home and you’re here which is where I want to be so it gets a stamp of approval from me. Also I see so much potential here so I’m sold, that’s all.”
“Way to narrow it down, simp.” He teased.
“Just had to be clear.”
“Crystal?”
You gasped while he winked at you.
That whole day played in your mind constantly after you got the worst news of your life. It was forever embedded into your mind along with lifelong memories that bled into your brain. It was too painful right now but it wouldn’t stop even when you closed your eyes, he was there. His voice, his touch, his longing stare…except this time he wouldn’t be coming back and you didn’t know how to stomach that. First you were incredibly sad but more angry than anything and that only amplified once you caught angel fucking Reyes zipping up his pants inside of your house.
It didn’t take long for you to peek and see Letty curled up on a arm chair staring blankly at the tv, for you to go into full attack mode.
“Y/n.” The taller thick bearded man started, raising his hands in surrender, “it’s not—
You clenched onto a golf club by the door and dropped everything else you had in your hands. All you saw was black as you began to frantically take deep breaths, “For as long as I’ve known you, I didn’t think you could stoop this got damn low. You are a shit stain and I’m gonna swing until your big ass head deflates!”
The amount of fear that actually appeared in Angel’s eyes was evident as he began scrambling around the house while you banshee screamed; swinging everything in sight, hoping it would catch your supposed “old friend” on his way out.
“Y/n!” Letty yelled, “stop!”
“Don’t you look at her and don’t you dare come by here again, you hear me?! I’ll kill you! And I hope Johnny haunts you even after your death.” You managed to catch a nice swing to his shoulder as Angel struggled to get the door open.
He yelped, “Ow, fuck! That hurt!”
“Get the fuck out of our house!” You got another hit to his lower back as he finally got out of the house.
With one last chuck, the club left a dent in the front door. Panting you turned to Letty who eyed you, unsure what to do.
“The hell was that?!”
Your eyes flicked up to the girl who almost straightened up at your appearance. It was almost sinister with the way you stared at her, holding your hands out as you slowly backed away from the clueless teen. Stumbling into the bathroom, you locked yourself in there and turned on the shower. Struggling to get a grip you held onto the counter for a moment, your head was pulsating and it was getting harder to breathe. Snatching a towel off the rack, you dropped to the floor and curled up into a position and pressed the towel to your mouth as you let out some screams which quickly turned to sobs.
Letty sat right by the door, head in her hands as she could faintly hear you in pain. It would now just be the two of you picking up the pieces to be each other’s person now. The common denominator would always be Johnny Cruz but Letty always felt like her time was limited with him, she’ll always think about the what if’s but at least she knew what she had. No doubt it sucked and it would always hurt but at least she still had you. She hoped that gave her dad—her coco some peace in his final moments.
Time is not always on your side but sanguinely you conquer it with the life that you choose.

My Girl
Word Count: 635
Warnings: body insecurities, body worship, oral (f receiving), lesbian relationship (I’ve received hate messages before about not including the warning for ff/mm relationships)
Tumblr media
“That fucking asshole,” she growled, more to herself as she rubbed at her wrist.  You shrank back into the corner of the local bar, wishing you could disappear, “should have stabbed him with a screwdriver for trying to touch me…the fucking nerve of some people.”
“At least you’re getting attention from guys other than your mom’s friends,” you muttered softly, “m-my mom lets her friends get away with more shit than a regular customer.”
“You need to move in with me and Coco,” she said quickly, “he made Celia leave me alone…just stop doing that shit, Mika.  Let me take care of you…Coco don’t steal my money like Celia did neither…so I got some saved up.”
“An-and what am I going to do, huh?” you ask, gesturing to yourself, “if I looked like you, maybe I’d have a chance…but…Letty, I-“
“You’re beautiful,” she said, interrupting you.  Her hand reached down and touched your thigh, and you held your breath.  She stroked your thigh and moved up to your hips, before sliding up the curves of your torso, “you’re amazing…my beautiful, sexy girlfriend.”
“Let-“
But you stopped speaking when Letty’s hand brushed your cheek, and she leaned forward until her lips pressed to yours.  You melted against her, your insecurities about everything, your body included, fading away.  You heard someone cat-calling off to the side, but you both ignored it.
“I love you,” Letty whispered, when she pulled away from you, “and I don’t want to hear any of that self-loathing shit.”
“The mouth on you!” you teased.
She smiled, licking her lips, “I happen to remember you liking this mouth of mine.”
You blushed, your eyes widening slightly, “Leticia.”
“What?” she grinned, “like anyone is even paying attention here…”
“I-“ you stuttered, “someone just watched you kiss me.”
“Come on,” she grinned, grabbing you by the wrist to pull you out of the booth and down the hall, “let’s go, scaredy cat.”
“Wh-what?  Where are you taking me, Letty?”
“Somewhere where I can show you just how much I love every bit of you.”
Tumblr media
Had you not been on the peak of your second orgasm, you might have cared about being pressed against the brick wall behind the bar.
You would have cared about your thick thigh being hitched around your girlfriend’s shoulder as her mouth pulled that orgasm from your body.
Hell, you might have even cared about her pushing your dress up to your breasts, exposing your rounded tummy and heavy, swollen globes to the world as she kneaded the excess meat of your hip.
“L-Letty,” you whimpered, your fingers tangled in her hair.  She only smiled as you moaned, your hips rolling against her mouth, “fu-fuck.  I can’t…no-not another.”
“Not until you tell me you love yourself!” she growled hungrily, “not until you make me believe you love your beautiful body as much as I do.”
“I-I can’t!” you mewled, still in the midst of your high.  She lightly nipped on your clit before rolling her tongue over it, and your legs shook as you came.  You felt your skin being bit by the unforgiving brick as your legs turned to jelly.  Letty moaned, holding you up with help from the wall, as your thighs jiggled, bent as you couldn’t even function enough to care about standing up.
Leticia smiled, slurping lewdly at your cunt, accepting all the juices that you could offer her, a faint glow bathing her mouth, dripping down her chin.
“I’ll always love you baby,” she promised, kissing your thighs.  You shivered against her touch as her hands slid behind you and cupped your rounded heart-shaped ass, “but you didn’t tell me you loved yourself yet…so I’m gonna help you lay on the ground…and then I’m pulling every last ounce of self-loathing from you through your pussy.”

Ok Coco won me over. He’s trying to connect with his daughter. He’s so earnest when he is asking his mom to meet him half way. He wants to protect his daughter.
His mom is the devil.

Episode 10.
Alright three seconds in and my heart is broken.
Letty is right. You didn't fucking deserve him.
TIGGY!!!!!!!!!!!! I missed my Tiggy.
Shit show indeed.
Oh, is Tig about to do what I think - yep. Good riddance to bad rubbish.
God dammit.
"It's been a while since I've choked somebody" boy wheres Venus?!
Oh Tig's not done. Damn he is done.
Adelita seems to have calmed.
Awww Daddy Angel is so cute.
"You're gonna get him wet" it's not the desert Adelita. You have towels.
Non-sanctioned meet. Wtf.
So Nestor ain't dumb.
Bishop is jealouuuus.
Ez. What are you doing. Oh. That's what you're doing. Blackmail.
Uh he was fucking 18 years old. Of course he was a scared little boy.
I mean, depriving the kids of their dad is one thing. But wasn't he the one that said he didn't want them to remember him as a bum?
No you're a punk bitch. That's what you are.
You really don't have any idea what those brothers are capable of.
Shit. Sons.
TIGGY! Marcus too. But TIGGY!
SamDino was the greater good?
Oh no. Alvarez should know.
Ah shit. Don't dwell on the past, Marcus.
Tig has a point. Good men don't last long.
Packer has a brother?
Ah, Tig, you freak. I love you.
Not wired but she's packing.
Katie. Suits her.
Never lied? Bullshit.
Oh she's a cunt though.
She wants him to take immunity to turn rat? That worked out so well for SamCro. 🙄🙄
Man poor Creeper.
Dude Fuck you Katie.
Fuck you.
Letty...be careful.
COCO HAD A NOVA?! I would take that bitch in a heartbeat.
But still be careful.
Oooooh Marcus confronting Ez.
Shit, Ez. You're not exactly making a good point here.
Mmmm Bish that EGA tat. 😋😋 I wanna bite it.
Ez does have some balls.
So adelita is working for her now?
God, Miguel. That beard. Mmm. Almost as good as that EGA.
Miguel, you tried to kill her. And you want her home?
Awwww look the happy couple. Won't be that way for long. Nothing us ever allowed happy with these shows.
And there it is.
Oh wow. Isn't that how JT killed like eight people? Causing a truck to jacknife and a big ass pileup?
MANNY NO! Ugh he's so pretty.
Omg that was so sweeeet!
Headbutt him, baby.
Stop drop and roll. They taught us that a ridiculous amount.
Oh the fire, huh? The fire is coming? You're about to meet the gasoline.
No. HOPE! You were doing so good!
Ha, Letty. Yes, baby. Get them.
YES BABY! YALL GO HOME!
Felipe. 😭😭
Just tell him that Dita paid for your wife to be killed.
Yeah Miguel, you're not orphaned. Your real dad is in front of you. He just wasn't allowed in your life.
Uh oh. Santo Padre is fractured. Alvarez is pissed.
And Ez is taking no prisoners. Fuck.
Goodbye, Padrino. I am sorry.
I just have this feeling that Angel is gonna die.
HOLY FUCK EZ. WHAT THE SHIT. WHAT IN THE ASSSSSS.
Bruh. He's...intense.
Angel ain't down tho.
Wait, has Angel said anything about the baby to any of them?
I feel like something bad is happening.
Oh no.
Oh Sofia has the old lady shit down.
Ohhhh Reyes v Reyes. Mano y Mano.
Angel has known you your entire life. He knows you. He knows you had other plans.
Ez is....unhinged.
Angel needs to leave SP. Go north. Oakland, Stockton. Something.
I know Creeper is not about to do that.
Oh he burned her! "I don't need anyone."
He's taking the fall for all of it. Wow.
Some long fingers on that gloved hand...
FIRE!
