28 Şubat 2024 Perfumerias Avenida Fenerbahçe Alagöz Holding Maçı

*Wurzburg Şehir Salonu'nda saat 22:30'da başlayacak olan Kadınlar EuroLeague Çeyrek Final Serisi ikinci maçı. Geçen hafta zorlayıcı olan ama 98-91 almayı başardığımız ilk mücadeleden sonra 1-0 öne geçmiştik. Burada da kritik bir sınav bizi bekliyor şimdi. Kazanırsak uzatmadan dörtlü final biletini elde etmiş olacağız. Öyle olması için de inancımız tam. Yürekten başarılar Kanarya'ya.

*FB TV'den naklen yayınlanacak olan maç.

*İlk çeyrek 19-15 İspanyol ekibi lehine sonuçlandı. Yakın geçen bir başlangıç izledik ama 8-8'den sonra onların 8 sayılık serisi geldi. Mesafe biraz açıldı ama yakın takipteyiz.

*İçeriye 36-30 yenik gidiyoruz. Avenida bir ara 11'e çıkardı farkı ama son anlara doğru etkinliğimiz arttı. Yine fena sayılmayacak bir noktaya çektik. İkinci yarıda artık refleksi göstermemiz şart.

*Üçüncü periyodun sonunda tabelayı 52-42'ye çevirdik. Temsilcimizden 22-6'lık şahane bir periyot oyunu geldi. Rüzgarı kırmakla kalmadık, artık arkamıza aldık. Beklediğimiz ve bize yakışan refleks de buydu işte.

*Mücadeleyi 73-67 kazanan temsilcimiz seriyi 2-0 aldı ve Final Four'a adını yazdırdı. Bir ara 17'ye çıkarmıştık farkı ama sonra Avenida son bir çabayla 4'e kadar düşürdü. Neyse ki panik yapmadan atlattık son anları ve işi daha fazla uzatmadan noktayı koyduk. Son şampiyon temsilcimiz durmaksızın sürdürüyor yolculuğunu. Tebrikler tüm ekibe. Perfumerias Avenida'da Leonor Rodriguez ve Arica Carter 14'er sayı ile oynadı. Sika Kone 12 sayı buldu. Fenerbahçe Alagöz Holding'de ise Yvonne Anderson 15, Napheesa Collier 14 sayı üretti. Nikolina Milic 14 sayı - 10 ribaund ile ikili çifte yaptı.

On May 9, 2022, the Philippines will have a crucial election to choose their next president. This election also decides the vice president, 12 senators, 300 seats for the House of Representatives and 18,000 local positions. The main presidential candidates are Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., Vice President Maria Leonor "Leni" Gerona Robredo, retired boxer Manny Pacquiao, Manila mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso, and former police chief Panfilo Lacson. The most popular candidates are Bongbong Marcos and Leni Robredo.

The current Vice President Leni Robredo announced her candidacy on October 7, 2021. She is an advocate for women’s empowerment, human rights, and putting an end to labour contractualization and systems that directly target those living in poverty. Her office led the country’s COVID-19 pandemic response and relief operations. Over the last year, the Office of the Vice President (OVP) has worked towards making basic necessities, decent housing, healthcare and adequate education more accessible. They also built one mental health facility and provided some assistive resources for patients. Robredo created an anti-poverty program called Angat Buhay (English: Uplift Lives), which has helped 341,779 families and 381 communities across the Philippines. Before she entered public office in 2013, she was a lawyer that focused on helping marginalized people and groups. Writer for the Inquirer, Rosauro Rodriguez described Robredo as “a true servant leader who has been hands-on and has taken risks, sharing responsibility and authority and continuously building and strengthening communities down to the grassroots level.” Filipino social media influencer, Bretman Rock, has also openly shared his support for Robredo through his Instagram.

The other most popular candidate, Bongbong Marcos, is the son of dictator Ferdinand Marcos, who ruled under martial law from 1972 to 1981. His 21 years in power have been described as “corrupt”, “extravagant” and “brutal” by numerous experts and journalists. He supported authoritarianism and has been called a kleptocrat, someone who uses their political power and position to steal their country’s resources. The Marcoses stole about $5-$10 billion U.S. dollars, according to Transparency International and The Diplomat. In 1986, a snap election was rigged, causing Ferdinand Marcos to win the presidency again. In protest, millions of people gathered in what is now known as the People Power EDSA Revolution. The Marcoses were exiled to Hawaii shortly after. Ferdinand Marcos died there in 1989 from lupus.

Now, the infamous dictator’s son is running for president. Bongbong Marcos has openly expressed his support for the current president, Rodrigo Duterte, and intends to continue his campaign of anti-insurgency. Duterte is well-known for his brutal war against drugs that has been responsible for the deaths of over 25,000 Filipinos, according to BBC News. One voter expressed that they are voting for Bongbong Marcos “because his father is still the greatest president we had” and that “not even Duterte can match Marcos.”

Bongbong Marcos is a popular candidate among voters under 30 years of age, according to Time. The people in this age group were not born when his father was in power and therefore know very little about his tyranny. Additionally, the Philippine educational system has failed to teach the history and impact of the Marcos dictatorship. Bongbong Marcos’ campaign team has taken advantage of social media platforms such as YouTube, TikTok and Facebook to gain popularity among these young voters. Assistant professor of communication research at the University of the Philippines, Fatima Gaw, says that it is “almost impossible” to identify propaganda and fake news on such platforms.

Another possible reason why Marcos is so popular is because, according to a survey conducted from 2002 to 2014, Filipinos believe that authoritarian governments improve the economy. Political sociologist Louie Montemar said, “In general, Filipinos accept democracy as a theoretical construct and a romantic ideal but still have a fundamental cultural tendency toward authoritarianism.” However, according to Richard Heydarian, a professor of political science and an Asian geopolitics expert, it is unlikely that Marcos will follow in his father’s footsteps of authoritarianism. Rather, his candidacy is the family’s “final step in [their] grand scheme to resume power in the Philippines”, according to The Diplomat. Marcos’ main promise is that he will use “unifying leadership” and set politics aside in order to revive the country’s economy.

According to a Pulse Asia survey conducted in mid-March, Marcos is in the lead by 32-points with Robredo quickly closing the gap. Other sources, such as the Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines, show that Leni Robredo has a significant lead and has the support of over half of the respondents to their survey. As of this writing, it is unclear who will win this upcoming election. What is known is that the Philippines deserves whichever president they elect.

Migrar es parte de la historia de la humanidad, el ser humano siempre se desplaza en busca de conquistar nuevos territorios, pero son pocos los que logran alcanzan el sueño americano. El trabajo duro, las oportunidades y el talento en los negocios hicieron que el mexicano Edgar de León Treviño padre formara un negocio inmobiliario y de construcción. En los años ‘50 se hizo de renombre en EE.UU y se posicionó en la industria acrecentando su fortuna. Sus hijos siguieron con su legado, pero solo Edgar de León hijo quedo a la cabeza de las empresas y negocio familiar. Siguiendo las tradiciones, este joven contrajo matrimonio con Edith Vicario, quien le dio la bendición de cuatro niñas; Laura, Leonor, Leona y Leticia. Las tres primeras fueron muy seguidas en edad, por lo que compartían muchas afinidades, pero Leticia, la menor, desde los primeros años mostró tener una personalidad avasalladora e impetuosa. Al igual que sus hermanas, Leticia era mimada, pero a diferencia de estas jamás fue dócil ni conformista, siempre buscaba conseguir salirse con la suya e ir por más.

Kikis, como fue llamada desde pequeña, sintió gran afición por el mundo de las artes, partió a los cinco años estudiando ballet, a los doce lo dejó por la fotografía y a los catorce comenzó a dibujar, este pasatiempo se conectó con su amor por la moda. Tenía un millón de croquetas con bocetos coloreados de distintas prendas que imaginaba, además, una colección inmensa de todas las revistas de moda que salían en el mercado. Nunca se imaginó que un pasatiempo se volvería su pasión y algo en lo que se quería especializar. Con dieciséis años terminó la secundaria, ignoró seguir en el negocio familiar o encontrar “marido” para casarse, después de todo, desde pequeña sintió interés por las mujeres y lo hizo notar. Se mudó a New York donde inicio sus estudios de Fashion desing y Fashion marketing and comunication en Parsons School of Design. Durante sus seis años de estudio no todo fue moda y pasantías para diseñadores como Narciso Rodriguez, Carolina Herrera, Calvin Klein, entre otros; sino que también encontró el amor. A los veintidós conoció a Alba Obregón, una mujer española, unos cuantos años mayor que Kikis, con una carrera iniciada en moda y de una personalidad que cautivó desde el principio a la mexicana. El amor llegó con fuerzas, de un momento a otro la morena lo dejó todo para irse con su mujer al viejo continente. Aunque en un principio jamás se trató de ir en busca de nuevas oportunidades, las encontró. Comenzó a trabajar en una revista de moda española armando el styling de las sesiones de fotos y, al mismo tiempo, era asistente en el atelier de Balenciaga. Aunque no se quedaba quieta en los lugares, tenía una energía demasiado intensa para dedicarse a una sola cosa, por lo que comenzó a apoyar en el marketing a marcas emergentes. Esto la ayudó a saber a fondo el funcionamiento de una marca de moda, desde la gestión, administración y trabajo en equipo.

Junto con su pareja se mudaron a Londres, ahí se perfeccionó en nuevos estudios y comenzó a trabajar como asistente de styling en la revista Vogue UK, y hasta llegó a conseguir un puesto como coordinadora en la revista Harper’s Bazaar. En ella cumplió dos años, pero se le presentó la oportunidad de trabajar en el equipo creativo de la marca Carolina Herrera, por lo que volvió a Estados Unidos. Aquella conexión la llevó a conseguir un puesto de editora de modas y, posteriormente, el puesto de editora creativa en Gucci gracias a su visión refrescante y moderna. Los diseños de dossier, portafolio, sus grandes estrategias de marketing y su personalidad hicieron que grandes casas de moda la quisieran en sus equipos, hasta que se atrevió a diseñar y junto a una reconocida marca norteamerica hizo el lanzamiento de su propia línea de ropa: kiKis de León, transits de genre.

Tras la buena acogida y crítica que tuvo su primer lanzamiento en Estados Unidos, ella decidió emprender su propio camino y dar el siguiente pasó; crear su firma de modas. Entre el caos de independizarse para seguir su camino y su vida personal, la morena a mediados del 2008 contrajo matrimonio con Alba. En aquella época hizo uso de las incipientes redes sociales, sabía lo que la gente buscaba y compartía a través de su vida, su propia marca. Las primeras ventas de sus diseños se dieron en una pequeña boutique en Los Ángeles y kiKis se hizo popular en menos de un año por sus diseños de lujo accesible, su buen equipo de gestión y marketing. La marca creció, consiguió estar dentro de las 10 marcas más influyentes, lo que le permitió dar el salto de mudarse al distrito de lujo de L.A. y asentar su atelier junto con su firma kiKis de León. La inauguración estuvo marcada de grandes acontecimientos, pues no solo triunfaba en el mundo de la moda, sino que daba la bienvenida a sus mellizos; Ariel y Gael.

En el 2010 participó por primera vez en el Fashion Week NY, gracias a la influencia que tenía su marca por las redes sociales y sus fieles seguidores. Esto permitió que la marca se hiciera popular y muy reconocida por el medio elitista de la moda, lo cual benefició a la migración a otros países. Nuevas franquicias a nivel mundial se inauguraron y su firma se posicionó dentro de las de high couture y, otra mitad, de lujo accesible. Desde esa época solo se cosechan los éxitos, pues el trabajo ha rendido los frutos que se han reconocido y posicionado a Kikis como una excelente diseñadora.

En la actualidad, Kikis sigue siendo reconocida por ir a la vanguardia y atreverse con lo no binario en su firma de modas. Aunque, algo más retirada, sigue encargándose de la producción de nuevos diseños, solo que ha preferido apoyar la creación de nuevos artistas, ya que siente necesario compartir más con su familia. Sin embargo, no todo tiene el éxito asegurado, a pesar de creer que todo iba bien, de un día para otro su esposa desaparece de su vida y la deja al cargo de sus dos niños. Abandonada y fingiendo que su mujer está en un viaje de autoconocimiento, ella se está reconectado con la maternidad, la que no es fácil, pues lidia con dos pre-adolescentes que no se soportan ni la soportan. Después de todo, Kikis siempre ha sido un ser independiente como los hombres, pero en cuerpo de mujer. Pocos han sido testigos de su imagen vulnerable, de su incongruencia, sus debilidades o ese despliegue de humanidad, ya que en la medida que se formó en el medio creo un personaje del cual ya no se puede desprender.

Migrar es parte de la historia de la humanidad, el ser humano siempre se desplaza en busca de conquistar nuevos territorios, pero son pocos los que logran alcanzan el sueño americano. El trabajo duro, las oportunidades y el talento en los negocios hicieron que el mexicano Edgar de León Treviño padre formara un negocio inmobiliario y de construcción. En los años ‘50 se hizo de renombre en EE.UU y se posicionó en la industria acrecentando su fortuna. Sus hijos siguieron con su legado, pero solo Edgar de León hijo quedo a la cabeza de las empresas y negocio familiar. Siguiendo las tradiciones, este joven contrajo matrimonio con Edith Vicario, quien le dio la bendición de cuatro niñas; Laura, Leonor, Leona y Leticia. Las tres primeras fueron muy seguidas en edad, por lo que compartían muchas afinidades. En cambio, la menor desde los primeros años mostró tener una personalidad avasalladora e impetuosa, jamás fue dócil ni conformista, siempre buscaba conseguir salirse con la suya e ir por más.

Se mudó a New York donde inicio sus estudios de Fashion desing y Fashion marketing and comunication en Parsons School of Design. Durante sus seis años de estudio no todo fue moda y pasantías para diseñadores como Narciso Rodriguez, Carolina Herrera, Calvin Klein, entre otros; sino que también había mucho tiempo para el amor. Después de unos años, se mudó a España, donde comenzó a trabajar en una revista de moda armando el styling de las sesiones de fotos y, al mismo tiempo, era asistente en el atelier de Balenciaga. Aunque no se quedaba quieta en los lugares, tenía una energía demasiado intensa para dedicarse a una sola cosa, por lo que comenzó a apoyar en el marketing a marcas emergentes. Esto la ayudó a saber a fondo el funcionamiento de una marca de moda, desde la gestión, administración y trabajo en equipo.

Se mudó a Londres, ahí se perfeccionó en nuevos estudios y comenzó a trabajar como asistente de styling en la revista Vogue UK, y hasta llegó a conseguir un puesto como coordinadora en la revista Harper’s Bazaar. En ella cumplió dos años, pero se le presentó la oportunidad de trabajar en el equipo creativo de la marca Carolina Herrera, por lo que volvió a Estados Unidos. Aquella conexión la llevó a conseguir un puesto de editora de modas y, posteriormente, el puesto de editora creativa en Gucci gracias a su visión refrescante y moderna. Los diseños de dossier, portafolio, sus grandes estrategias de marketing y su personalidad hicieron que grandes casas de moda la quisieran en sus equipos, hasta que se atrevió a diseñar y junto a una reconocida marca norteamerica hizo el lanzamiento de su propia línea de ropa: kiKis de León, transits de genre.

Tras la buena acogida y crítica que tuvo su primer lanzamiento en Estados Unidos, ella decidió emprender su propio camino y dar el siguiente pasó; crear su firma de modas. Vivía el caos de independizarse para seguir su camino artístico y se maravillaba con la vida, a med. A mediados del 2007 conoció a Alicia, fue amor a primera vista que con su ímpetu las llevo contraer matrimonio al año siguiente. En aquella época hizo uso de las incipientes redes sociales, sabía lo que la gente buscaba y compartía a través de su vida, su propia marca. Las primeras ventas de sus diseños se dieron en una pequeña boutique en New York y kiKis se hizo popular en menos de un año por sus diseños de lujo accesible, su buen equipo de gestión y marketing. La marca creció, consiguió estar dentro de las 10 marcas más influyentes, lo que le permitió dar el salto de mudarse al distrito Garmet de New York, asentar su atelier junto con su firma kiKis de León y abrir una boutique en L.A.

Al año siguiente participó por primera vez en el Fashion Week NY, gracias a la influencia que tenía su marca por las redes sociales y sus fieles seguidores. Esto permitió que la marca se hiciera popular y muy reconocida por el medio elitista de la moda, beneficiando la migración a otros países. Nuevas franquicias a nivel mundial se inauguraron y su firma se posicionó dentro de las de high couture y, otra mitad, de lujo accesible. Desde esa época solo se cosechan los éxitos, pues el trabajo rindió los frutos que reconocieron y posicionaron a Kikis como una excelente diseñadora.

En la actualidad, Kikis sigue siendo reconocida por ir a la vanguardia y atreverse con lo no binario en su firma de modas. Aunque, algo más retirada, sigue encargándose de la producción de nuevos diseños, solo que ha preferido apoyar la creación de nuevos artistas, ya que siente necesario compartir más con su esposa. Sin embargo, no todo tiene el éxito asegurado, a pesar de aparentar que todo en su vida es perfecto, la relación con su esposa cada día empeora más. Ambas creyeron ilusamente que embarazándose volverían a darle sentido a su relación y vida familiar, pero no ha sido así. Alicia ha abandonado la casa y Kikis se ha visto enfrentada a la desesperación de la soledad y el miedo a enfrentar la maternidad.

Didn’t last long, went walk the dog and now I’m back they’re down again lol I mostly know about my city’s team so it’s not like I’m an expert, but I’ve been liking Leonor Rodriguez who I didn’t know before these matches (though I’ve looked her up and she’s 28 so idk why I don’t know her?). They have not been playing great and I’m going to say it’s cause of Lucas’ weird squad choices. Just to make myself feel better.

This is an unusual question… how do you imagine Leonor & Valeria’s voices?

That’s not an unusual question at all, dude! Hmm... Well, I unfortunately don’t have any voice actresses I can refer to (which would be helpful), but I do have characters in mind who could sound similar or at least have the same feel to the voices? I imagine Leonor’s voice to pretty enunciated and there’s a soft patience to it. I don’t know how else to describe her tone other than mature? One character that comes to mind when I think of her voice is Nico Robin from One piece? Either the Japanese or funimation voices work in terms of the tone of Leonor’s voice, at least the way I imagine it.

Now, Valeria’s a little easier in thinking of a voice that kind of replicates what I feel she could sound like? I feel that Genesis Rodriguez’s voice is close to Valeria’s. Val has a pretty laid back drawl, but a touch of cheekiness too?

Maduro unleashes state terrorism to entrench itself in power

Kidnappings of minors, arbitrary detentions, razzias in the neighborhoods and extrajudicial executions are the repressive cocktail with which the police arms that abide by Nicolás Maduro put at bay the popular protest in Venezuela. While the international community seeks political solutions to the Venezuelan drama, the sinister Special Action Forces (FAES) put into practice their own version of the death caravan in the poorest neighborhoods of the country.

While world public opinion has its eye on the geopolitical aspect of the Venezuelan situation, within the country the state security agencies controlled by Nicolás Maduro are escalating repression to a level not seen since 2017.

As happened that year, as well as in 2014, the repression of the political police and the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) took precedence over the students and young people in general who took part in those days of protests. On this occasion he has directed all his rage against the poorest neighborhoods of Caracas and some cities in the interior.

La Vega, Cotiza, Catia, Boquerón, Propatria, El Cuartel, El Valle, Coche, the neighborhoods adjacent to San Martín Avenue (very close to the Presidential Palace of Miraflores), and José Félix Ribas in the populous Petare, once electoral bastions of Chavismo in the metropolitan area of Caracas, were the protagonists of three consecutive nights of pots and pans and riots where the legitimate demonstration was mixed with groups from the common underworld (armed by Chavismo) that blocked streets and avenues while confronting with sticks, stones and high-powered weapons the detachments of the GNB and the Bolivarian National Police (PNB). A reflection of the atmosphere of social violence that has been fostered in Venezuela during the years of chavista hegemony.

Subjected to months of severe reasoning in the supply of drinking water, domestic gas, frequent blackouts, chaos in public transportation and famine (plus repeated breaches of promises made by Maduro) these sectors have exploded.

That is the Venezuela of discontent, made up of many of the former Chavista voters who are now joining the street calls made by Juan Guaidó, who more than the chief executive in charge in his capacity as president of the National Assembly, has become the leader and face of the country's new political process, to the point that the social composition of the recent concentrations has changed in everyone's eyes.

The Venezuelan middle class, which at other times was the backbone of the social opposition to Chavismo, and is now weakened by the massive diaspora, has been largely replaced in the streets by all those whom the "Bolivarian revolution" promised to redeem.

The response of the police apparatus of the Madurist regime to this rebellion was not long in coming. Since the morning of January 23rd, the sinister Special Action Forces (FAES), attached to the PNB, have dedicated themselves to hunting down the actors of the days of protests in the different neighborhoods, often with the collaboration of Chavista political cadres who live in those sectors and play the role of informers for their own neighbors.

The image of a mobile unit with FAES officials and an obviously lifeless body is quite revealing of what happened in the style of the Caravan of Death of the Southern Cone dictatorships.

According to figures from the Criminal Forum (@ForoPenal) Provea (@_Provea) and Redes de Ayuda (@RedesAyuda), the balance of the repression as of January 28, reached at least 35 assassinations, 850 arrests of demonstrators, 77 of whom are adolescents and children.

The police brutality that spread to different areas of the country did not even take into consideration the physical condition or health of the minors. For example, Jackson Rodriguez, 14, was released on January 29 with precautionary measures. Arrested on January 23 in Villa Bahia in the state of Bolivar and of special condition, Jackson suffered convulsions in his confinement because GNB did not allow him to receive the medication. He himself denounced physical and verbal abuse: "I was the one who was hit the hardest because I didn't cry. I was beaten by guards, mostly women.

Arbitrarily arresting minors has been the objective of the repressive bodies, which see in them the most active protagonists of the riots, according to Prodavinci.

For the 29th, in statements to journalist Luis Olavarrieta (@LuisOlavarrieta), the president of the Human Rights Coalition, Ana Leonor Acosta, denounced that the number of minors arbitrarily detained in the jails of police agencies was 84, reports Caraota Digital.

Complaints about serious human rights violations perpetrated by the FAES in these days include extrajudicial executions. Specifically, three boys from the town of El Tocuyo (in the central-western part of the country), according to the version of their humble families.

Unfortunately, none of these practices is new in the country. Operatives for the Liberation of the People (OLP) carried out in the poorest neighborhoods of Venezuela by different police agencies, in 2015 and 2017 alone, left a balance of more than 9,200 extrajudicial executions, according to the denunciation substantiated by prosecutor Luisa Ortega Díaz, designated as such by the Chavista majority of the National Assembly and then dismissed by the Constituent of Maduro.

If that figure is true, it would be more than three times the number of people disappeared by Augusto Pinochet's military dictatorship in Chile in 17 years and would make Maduro's regime one of the bloodiest in Latin American history.

But numbers apart, what is public and notorious in Venezuela is the repressive style of these police forces (created by former president Hugo Chávez) and in particular of those PLOs, oriented evidently to maintain under the control exercised by parapolice terror the most socially disadvantaged sectors of the country.

This reveals what is probably the most sinister aspect of Chavismo, a political movement that 20 years ago reached the government displaying as one of its flags the defense of Human Rights (particularly the humblest) but that in the exercise of absolute power has been degraded to extremes never imagined in the past.
