How they react with someone mocking you.
Tumblr media
✰ — Feat; Everyone X GN! Reader.
✰ — Summary: A situation where they witnessed it.
Tumblr media
Riddle, Sebek, Floyd, Leona + (Hot-headed.)
And who would dare to do that with you?! He thought he made it obvious here that no one was to upset you, it seems words of mouth wasn't adequate. They had the gall to tarnish your feelings, he wouldn't let that slide, so, he'd confront the culprit for a good 'talk.' As your significant other, he cannot condone this behavior.
Trey, Jade, Rollo, Jamil, Silver, Vil + (Mature.)
He's serene with this, despite the fact that he's mad. It's like the calm before the storm, with how he looks at the perpetrator. He's sending back a chilling glance at them, as much as he'd like to resort it, conflicts wasn't ideal, he must look after your welfare.
Lilia, Cater, Ruggie, Kalim, Rook, Azul + (Cute.)
Tries to cheer you up by diverting your focus elsewhere. Do you want food? Candies? A pat on the head? A hug (´・ω・`)? Don't cry, he'd seriously do anything to stop that. If he didn't know what you like, he'd bring EVERYTHING to you, books, magazines, etc.
Idia + (Too introverted.)
If you think he will fight for you, just no, he would probably take you to a nearby anime cafe instead as a means to distract you....
Malleus, Epel, Jack, Deuce, Ace + (Violence.)
Peace was never an answer for him. *Pulls out a magical pen.*

1.
Jack liked to imagine himself as a somewhat perceptive person, especially with his large ears catching wind of exchanged whispers and his outstanding olfaction that allowed him to pick up distinctive scents. As reserved as he seemed, he tended to watch things from the sidelines and keep note of different people's quirks and whatnots, and so more often than not he would surprise others with his hidden knowledge and observations. All in all, he knew quite well about people around him.
Or so he thought, because whatever was unfolding in front of his widened eyes was making him doubt all his previous judegements about his much respected dorm leader.
It was mid-afternoon with the sun hanging high in the sky, burning with murderous intent. Jack, having had the misfortune to be the first student spotted by Crewel, was tasked to 'bring him the disobedient cat who would rather sleep than attend his lessons'. Jack recalled the places Ruggie would go to find Leona and found himself in the botanic garden in no time, eyes scanning the lush green and distracting flowers. He smelled his presence first, then noticed something else mixed in that woody scent.
His confusion only grew when he recognized its owner, who was none other than the prefect of Ramshackle. The trail led him to a spot shielded by a thick canopy of banana leaves, and right underneath was Leona, serenely asleep and– wait, is he sleeping on the prefect's lap? And is that their hand in his hair?
Jack blinked. He wasn't hallucinating.
Your face brightened in recognition when he finally shuffled close enough. "Hey Jack! Here to check on the cacti?"
"...No," despite his initial shock, his voice gave nothing away. Leona spared him one glance before promptly closing his eyes again. "Crewel asked me to bring Leona to class, but… what are you doing here?"
As if just now realizing yourself, you removed your fingers from Leona's silky hair, earning a dissatisfied huff. "Your dorm leader here caught me passing by and made me his personal pillow. I haven't moved from this position for hours."
Jack hoped that you were only exaggerating about the time, but frankly he was too preoccupied with other thoughts to care. For one, the painfully arrogant, prideful, and self-assured prince was resting his head on your lap and letting you thread your fingers through his locks? The Leona who would scowl and glower whenever someone so much as brushed against his tail? The Leona who would bite someone's arm off before ever giving them the idea that he could be anything less than almighty, let alone soft?
"Just tell Crewel you failed. I'm not about to ruin my nap to brew stupid potions," Leona stated, stubborn as usual.
"No way, I'm not missing my classes so that you can have your fun in dreamland. Get up!" You nudged him. No movement. "Jack, can you help me drag him off?"
Before the poor boy could take a step, Leona growled. "Don't you dare. Just give me ten more minutes, damn it."
"That's the third time you've said it." You deadpanned, to which he responded with a half-hearted hum. Seeing as he wasn't moving any time soon, your shoulders slumped. "I'm sorry, Jack. I'll bring him over as soon as the ten minute mark passes."
It was less than ideal to have to go back to Crewel empty-handed, but there was no convincing Leona when he was hell-bent on doing something. With a defeated sigh, Jack nodded. "I'll be relying on you then, prefect."
If there was one person in NRC who could be deemed trust-worthy, it had to be you. He mentally gave himself a pat on the back before bidding goodbye.
In reality, didn't leave right away. He knew that he shouldn't intrude on his friend's life (let alone his senior's), but curiosity got him in a chokehold. Besides, he needed to make sure that you wouldn't get your wrist torn off if you tried anything else.
"It's quite unfair, actually," you mumbled. "All you do is lie around all day, how do you even pass your classes?"
"Everything the school’s teaching, I’ve already learned back home." Leona's mouth curled into a smirk. "What, are you jealous?"
"As if," you rolled your eyes. As if out of habit, you started smoothing his mane out again. With each gentle stroke, Leona's face relaxed into a peaceful expression, and his ears twitched in what Jack could only identify as delight. You must've noticed it too, because something akin to interest flitted across your feature. Jack's stomach dropped. He had seen that look many times before, and it was a telltale sign of trouble.
After only a bit of hesitation, your outstretched hand moved to touch Leona's fluffy ear. That's it, Jack thought. You'd done it– poked at the hornet’s nest, shoved your hand inside a tiger’s yawning mouth, threw yourself into a river filled with piranhas. It was nice knowing you. There was no way you were going to get away with this.
Leona's eyes shot open, his nose scrunched in annoyance. "Careful where you touch, herbivore."
"Fine. My bad," you removed your hand with great reluctance, returning to dedicate your attention to his hair. The moment carried on as if nothing had happened, and within seconds Leona was already snoring.
What the hell was that. Jack swiveled on his heels and let his legs lead him away. In his head was only thoughts darting around, trying to make sense of why exactly Leona acted so differently towards you. The fact that he had you stay during his sleeping time was already out of character enough, but to let you off after you touched his ear, one of the most sensitive parts of a beastman's body?
There could be something going on here. Jack had a hunch on what it was, but he didn't feel like jumping to conclusions just yet. For now, he should just sit and watch.
At the end of the day, he got caught by Crewel again. It turned out that Leona never showed up for his lesson after all.
2.
It was a breezy afternoon, but for Epel it was hotter than ever on the sports ground. The Magift Club was having its routine training, and everyone was dedicating their best even though it wasn't a real tournament.
His own heartbeat was the only thing he could hear as he dashed towards the opposing team's goal, the golden disk hovering right beside him. Yells and heavy steps followed him, but he was determined not to let his legs give out. Eagerness lurched inside his throat as the net neared, and he angled his arm to throw the disk–
-- only to get thrown off balance by a gust of wind. He landed on his butt with a groan, and looked up to see the disk in the possession of one Savanaclaw student. Cursing under his breath, he swatted the dirt off his knees and dived into action again.
After some more intense chasing and magic being thrown around, he headed with the rest of the team towards the benches, where Leona was sprawled out on a chair, sharp eyes heavy-lidded and coated with sleep. It wouldn't be a surprise if he turned out to have slept through the entire match.
"... Your weakness is that you only know how to charge forward." Leona commented just as Epel was about to take a sip from his water bottle. "You can't improve if you never learn how to look out for ambushes."
"Ah… thank you."
Alright, so maybe he hadn't been out for the count after all. Nonchalantly, Leona shifted into a more comfortable position, his face angled away from Epel. Even if he came off as detached and uncaring most of the time, there were occasions where he would give out short yet valuable advice and prove that he had been keeping an eye on his members. Epel only hoped that he could see the renowned player in action more often. Sadly, it only happened once in a blue moon.
"Ah, look who's here," Ruggie said. Epel followed his gaze and spotted you walking across the field, holding a paper bag large enough to topple you. It wasn't rare that you would drop by and visit. In fact, most of them had been looking forward to you and swarmed you with warm welcomes (presumably because they knew you were hiding snacks in that bag, but Epel decided not to comment on that when his stomach was rumbling too).
"Where's Leona?" You asked once you've given Ruggie a bag of donuts. The grinning hyena jutted his head to the side, "Lazing around as usual. Wanna stay and watch us play?"
You arched your head back and scanned the clock above the rows of seats. "Sure, I have some time to kill." You gave him a thumbs up and made your way towards the chairs at the front.
Epel watched as you kicked Leona's chair to wake him up. He was too far away to hear whatever you were talking about, but you looked pretty close, chatting away with an exchanged chuckle here and there. Even though Leona still looked sleep-laden, he rested his head on his fist and kept his eyes on you the whole time.
One was his club leader, and the other was his close friend. He was starting to wonder how you two had become so close when Ruggie threw his arm around his frame. "Time for round two! What, you still haven't finished the cookies? Need some help?"
Epel quickly shoved them inside his mouth. "No fran qu (no thank you)!"
Everyone had already spread out in two teams when Leona promptly stood up from his humble 'throne' and stepped onto the field. "Wait. You, swap with me."
The second-year student in question pointed at himself and blinked.
Leona frowned. "Do I need to repeat myself?"
"N-no!" The student ran off with his tail literally between his legs. Epel's eyes followed the man as he made his way to the front of the opposing team, stretching his muscled limbs.
The match started as soon as you blew the whistle. If Leona actually getting on the field was out of the ordinary, then him putting effort in playing was enough to leave one flabbergasted and dumbfounded. He didn't even have to lift a finger to weave his way through the wall of opponents. Yet, as Epel watched on, he couldn't help but feel both amazed and startled at the same time.
Amazed, because Leona really lived up to his name as one of the top players among the long list of magic schools. He was quick on his feet, never letting anyone so much as touch the hem of his shirt as he flashed past defenses. In fact, his moves were so unpredictable and fast that whatever formations that had been discussed dissolved within moments as everyone scrambled to block him. But that was not all– he was tactical. One moment he was making others chase him so that he could sweep them away with one single hit, the other he was planting traps on the ground and sneering as they fell victim. It was like he could predict everyone's move.
There was no chance of beating him even if he had his eyes closed all the way. Though Epel's eyes were trained on the lone figure, he could hear your voice booming across the field.
"Ruggie! Epel! Go get him!"
"Ugh, I'm trying!" Epel clenched his jaw and rushed forward, shouting as he prepared to launch a sneak attack from behind– then Leona turned his head and smirked.
It only took fifteen minutes for Leona to render everyone useless. Epel dragged himself towards the benches and dropped himself carelessly, limbs sprayed out as he tried to catch his breath.
"Did you have to go that harsh on them?" You said as Leona returned with nary a bead of sweat. There was a touch of playful reprimand in your voice.
"They need to be humbled once in a while lest they become too full of themselves."
You two moved somewhere else, the air carrying your words away. The temporary silence was replaced by Ruggie's wheezes. "Jeez- lemme catch my breath. That was hell."
"I know right," Epel answered weakly. "Do you think Leona-san joined because we weren’t doing good enough?"
"Please, he wouldn't bother," there were sounds of a paper bag being rustled. A moment later, Ruggie spoke up again, this time with food in his mouth. "The answer is pretty simple, actually. Why do you think he worked so hard out there?"
"...He wanted to kick our asses?"
"Nah, that's too much trouble. If he wanted to kick your ass he would've asked me to do it." Epel wasn't sure what to feel about that information. "The truth is- he just wanted to show off, duh."
Epel craned his head so he was facing Ruggie. "Show off? To whom?"
"C'mon. Just see for yourself."
He did as told, scanning the place and eventually spotting you still talking to Leona, this time playfully shoving at his arm at something he had said. There was this look on his face that Epel couldn't put a name to. He'd seen it on someone else though: Sebek as he gushed about Malleus, Rook as he read a magazine with Vil's face printed on the cover, Cater when he came across something Magicam-worthy. Epel knew exactly what these displayed feelings were, but then it would mean that–
"Leona-san worked us to the bone just so he could impress the prefect?" Epel all but barked out the accusation. Ruggie giggled at his reaction and shrugged, leaving the boy even more exasperated. That wasn't really the point, but irritance was clouding his senses at that time. It was only until he was back in his room and lying in bed that he would start to connect the dots and let out a loud, stunned gasp.
3.
The café near NRC had been flooded with customers all day, and the queue only lengthened as time passed. Cater squeezed his dry eyes shut, having scrolled on his phone the whole time he was waiting outside.
Ever since a famed influencer on Magicam had complimented this café in a post, it had been getting all the hype. Cater couldn’t miss out on the fun, even if everything on the menu was too saccharine for his liking.
After what felt like millennia, he finally got inside the shop. It looked like pink had vomited all over the walls, but it should look aesthetic enough for the folks on Magicam. Cater spotted a vacant seat by the window and rushed towards it. From the corner of his eyes he could see a man heading in the same direction.
“Shit-“ the man cussed as he tripped.
“Ah, my bad.” Cater raised his hands and stepped away. The man muttered something under his breath and looked up. The seat had already been taken by the… same man that had just run into him?
Cater chuckled quietly as the man looked around the shop, then back at him again. His unique magic really came in handy sometimes.
He ordered the most famous dishes and turned to his phone again. Perhaps he would give them to those adorable first-years later, or just send them all to Trey.
After a while, even the endless scrolling came to an end. Cater pressed on the home button and waited for the page to refresh. Emerald eyes wandered lazily around the room, rounding when he caught sight of a familiar figure.
If it was any other person, Cater would’ve thought that his eyes had deceived him, but there was no mistaking those ears and long tail. That was definitely Leona Kingscholar, standing in queue with his hands shoved inside his pockets. Much like Cater, he was still in school uniform, and the look of irritance on his face made him stand out like a sore thumb in this sugary world.
Just what could he be doing here? Cater knew that the man wasn’t particularly into sweets and pastries. He definitely wasn’t one to follow trends either. Not to mention that he had zero media presence… unless he had a private account?
Leona’s tail flicked. The man in front of him suddenly crossed his foot in front of the other and stumbled out of the queue. Leona quickly stepped up and silenced whatever the man was going to say with a glare.
In the corner of the café, Ruggie’s shoulders shook with laughter.
Even with underhand methods, there was only so much the two could do to shorten the waiting time. It took another fifteen minutes for them to finally get to the counter. Cater watched with intrigue as the barista stuffed two well-loved red velvet cakes into a white box and handed it to Leona.
Ruggie quickly finished one of them as soon as he got his hands on it, and Cater read ‘worth the effort’ from his lips movement. The two left with the untouched piece sitting peacefully inside the box.
Well, that was something. Cater shook his head and started snapping pictures of the desserts that had arrived moments ago. To think that Leona of all people would wait in line just for a piece of cake… his thoughts went on as he mindlessly typed out a caption. Could it have been for someone else ?
Nah. No way. He couldn’t imagine Leona ever lifting a finger for anyone other than himself.
Night was already creeping on the horizon by the time he finally finished posting. The walk back school was accompanied by more scrolling. The prefect’s profile icon popped up in the ‘story’ section. Cater clicked in without a second thought.
It was a photo of a red velvet cake. The red velvet cake. The text above it read ‘pleasant surprise from an unlikely party!’
Within moments, he was already scanning the entire photo like a detective. There, in the right corner, was a tail. No doubt about it. And he knew the tail— he had just watched its owner spend nearly half an hour lining up in the cafe.
"Now isn't this an interesting discovery…?" Mischief passed over his eyes for a split second, his legs picking up the pace. It seemed that desserts wouldn't be the only thing he would be delivering today.
4.
It was nothing out of the norm for Leona to spend Monday afternoons napping under the tall apple tree. In fact, he went there so routinely that he might as well become one with the background.
Today, though, something had changed. Or as Rook would call it, love was in the air, because under the tree were two figures in lieu of one.
You were sitting cross-legged against the trunk, sheets laid out around you like a protective shield. Every once in a while, Leona’s tail would mess them up, and if you berated him he would feign innocence.
“Come on Leona, you’re the only one who can help me with this.” You nudged his knee.
Rook squinted, his eyes locking onto the documents. There, on the top of what seemed to be the cover page, read ‘Sunset Savanna’.
Ah, a history project then.
“Ask Ruggie.”
“I would if he wasn’t busy doing your duties. So you’re stuck with me.”
Leona made a low grumbling noise, but Rook noted that his face showed no sigh of annoyance. How unfair! The first few times Rook approached the beastman during his nap, he received nothing less than distasteful glares and venomous threats.
One more evidence supporting his hypothesis.
“Fine. You have five minutes to ask questions.”
A smile bloomed on your face, one that Leona didn’t fail to catch. It was only a flash, easily overlooked, but Rook saw it crystal clear— the subtle tenderness intruding on his scowl. It disappeared as quickly as it’d come.
“Alright. So what’s Sunset Savannah like?”
“Hot.”
You heaved a sigh. “You’re not cooperating here.”
“Maybe your questions are too vague, herbivore.”
“Ugh- fine! Let’s start with the people. Do you guys have a mascot or something?”
Leona shifted so he was lying on his side, left arm propped up with his head resting on his palm. “There’s this warthog and meerkat everyone loves. They’re supposed to be related to the King of Beasts. Personally though, I couldn't care less.”
"How about something that cannot be found anywhere else?”
“Mm. Hot spring eggs,”
“You guys have hot springs?” With the way your eyes twinkled with interest, Leona couldn’t help but give in.
“No, it’s a volcano…”
Your ‘interview’ stretched out for far longer than five minutes, eventually jumping from general knowledge to Leona’s own experience with the place he grew up at.
“Sure, the sunset is beautiful, but the real show begins when night falls. All kinds of stars come out, perfect for sentimental beings like you.”
“I don’t believe that you’ve never looked at them before.” You challenged.
Leona scoffed, reaching to scratch the back of his ear. “Only as a kid. It gets boring.”
“The privilege is showing, your highness,” you sighed wistfully, angling your head so you were gazing at the bright sky. “I wish we had stars here too.”
“If you really want to see them, I can bring you there next time.”
Your face lightened up.
“Of course, it comes with a price.”
You rolled your eyes. “And what will it be?”
A dismissive hum. “I’ll decide later.”
“I’ll be looking forward to it then.” You started packing your things, missing the way Leona’s tail swished. Even if you had noticed, you probably wouldn’t have understood what it meant. Rook tittered into his palm as he watched on.
“Leaving so soon? I expected more questions,” Leona said.
“I'd rather not get on your bad side by keeping you away from your precious nap. I’ll come to you if I need anything—“ your words were interrupted with a sharp hiss. In your careless movements, the paper managed to slice through your skin, leaving a stinging cut.
Leona picked up the smell immediately, his eyes trained on your finger. The slit was unnoticeable at first, but red eventually started to bloom around it.
“Tsk. How careless are you?” He jumped onto his feet and snatched your hand, observing the cut. Your eyes danced between his face and the wound, much like a flustered rabbit.
“It's just a cut.” You started, trying to hide your hand. But his grip on you was strong, albeit not enough to hurt.
“No it's not. You could get an infection and end up troubling me again. I’ll get you bandaged up.” He began walking with his hand still holding your wrist, pulling you along.
You took advantage of the situation and dived into another round of questions for your project, and Leona, irritated that he might seem, answered them accordingly.
As the two of you neared the building Rook was in, his eyes suddenly shot up, practically shooting daggers at a particular window.
“What’s it?” You stood on your tiptoes. There was no one behind the glass.
His features remained hardened for a moment before he relaxed his shoulders. “…Nothing. You were sayin’?”
Rook waited a few seconds to reemerge again. Although you’d already vanished from sight, he had already gathered all that he needed: the lion had been captivated by none other than the magic-less prefect, and he barely needed his instincts and observations as a hunter to confirm that.
5.
It wasn’t that you hated group work. If anything, you enjoyed having someone share the workload. But when your group mates were none other than the red & blue duo from Heartslabyul plus a cat-shaped trouble magnet, you would really rather be left alone.
“We should make a body swapping potion. I bet it’ll be fun if Riddle and Floyd exchanged personalities.” Ace suggested with that look of his that often preceded undesired circumstances. You were heading to your next class along with the wave of students in the corridor.
“Can you please take this test seriously? I can’t get another fail!” Deuce slapped the back of Ace’s head, causing the redhead to stagger forward. A few students turned their heads around in curiosity, but most were already familiar with the two's antics.
Crewel had given each group the mission to brew from scratch one of the potions mentioned in the textbook as a part of the term test, not knowing what a mistake it was to leave the power of decision-making to you lot.
“How about a potion that can make all food taste like Tuna?” Grim asked, tail brushing your neck as he perched himself on your shoulder.
“Just ask Trey to do that for you.” You commented, not bothering to look up from the testbook in your hands.
“You’re right, henchman! Let’s go right now!”
“Focus on the test first, will you?” Ace was the one to complain this time, earning a hiss from Grim.
“Let’s narrow it down to potions that are easy to make. It’ll be more convenient if the ingredients can be acquired in the botanical garden.” Deuce went around the bickering duo to peek over your shoulder.
The mention of the botanical garden reminded you of a certain lazy lion. Being caught up in the test had kept you from meeting Leona in your free time. In fact, you hadn’t seen him for a whole week already. It didn’t help that he was in another year and had entirely different classes.
Perhaps you could pay him a visit later, but it’s not as if he would miss you or something. A foreign sadness crept up on you. You shook the thought off and opted to focus on the book instead.
It seemed that fate preferred otherwise, because a gust of wind carried Ruggie's laughter to you, followed by a gruntle from– speak of the devil– Leona. Your eyes were already searching for him through the passing crowd before you could contain your curiosity. The lurch in your chest told a lot more than you were willing to admit.
Leona, on the contrary, didn't need to search at all. His sharp eyes landed on you with infallible precision, as unreadable as ever. If it had been anyone else, you would've raised your hand and greeted them with energy, but this was the same person who once walked past you as though you were a mere stranger, leaving your open palm hanging in the air. As an attempt to preserve your dignity, you decided to avert your eyes.
Anyways, since when did Leona of all people go to classes?
Your heartbeat succumbed to a deafening rhythm the closer he got. Half hopeful and half desperate to suppress it, you held your breath the moment he was close enough that your shoulders touched.
As expected, he did not greet or even address you in any way. But there was something soft touching your cheek, the suddenness making your eye twitch in surprise. It caressed your face almost gently before cool air took its place.
You turned just in time to catch Leona's tail retreating.
Engrossed in the contents of the book, you missed all the meaningful gazes being shot around by your friends. Ace and Deuce had been at it for some time, while Grim pretended to understand.
Deuce was positive that he wasn’t on the same channel as Ace. Just earlier, when he’d caught Leona’s tail poking your face, he shot a quick look at Ace. A raised brow, a glance towards you, then back to Ace. It was supposed to mean ‘Did you catch that?’, and Ace took it as ‘Wanna ambush the prefect?’
The resulted mayhem when Ace tackled you was something you never wanted to bring up again.
Now Deuce wasn’t sure what went on between you and the fearsome leader of Savanaclaw, but Ace had an idea or two. Epel and Jack had both commented offhandedly about the weird atmosphere that surrounded you two. Deuce was present both times, but it'd probably flew right over his head.
Deuce wriggled his brows. Do you have any idea?
Ace mirrored him. Dude, what even is that supposed to mean?
Grim’s feigned participation was cut short when he caught sight of two familiar figures entering the canteen. “Hey! What is that sleepyhead doing here?”
All three of you snapped your heads towards the entrance. There stood the spotlight of their discussion, Leona, in his usual rumpled form, half-awake daze, sharp fangs catching the chandelier’s light as he yawned.
“First he heads to class, now he’s coming to the canteen himself. What’s up with that guy?” Grim gasped dramatically. “Is he plotting something again?”
“He’s not,” you came to his defense with suspicious rapidness. “Plus, what is there to plot about?”
“Mm. You have a point, henchman.”
“Alright,” Ace held his fist out. “Loser buys lunch. Rock paper scissors!”
Grim let out a shrill laugh as Deuce stared at his sole open palm in defeat. It wasn’t your fault that he only ever played paper.
While your cat proceeded to go off on a tangent the today's menu, you gazed over at the growing masses of students.
“So,” Ace craned his head. “Have you chosen the potion or are we going with body swapping?”
“Or the tuna one!”
“Neither.” You tore your eyes away and turned the book around. “We’re making a flower-growing potion—“
They groaned loudly.
“—because it’s easy to make. Do you want to pass or not?” You insisted.
“I would rather be well-fed! Flowers are stu- FNNGA!”
Grim jumped a good feet in the air when someone slammed their lunch on your table, his fur standing tall in alert. Leona sank onto Deuce’s seat, while Ruggie took the spot next to Ace. “You should try to be gentler, Leona-san.”
Before the lion could answer, Grim stood up and yelled, “Hey! That’s Deuce’s seat!”
“Yea? He’s tiny enough to squeeze in somewhere.” Leona said nonchalantly. There was a curiously excessive amount of meat in his dish. After a beat, he turned to you. “What’re you up to?”
Ace resisted the urge to tell him off, preferring to indulge in your interaction to preserve Deuce’s interests.
“Potion test. What, have you missed me?”
“A lil’ bit.”
That seemed to catch you off-guard. Ace snorted in his attempt to hold in a laugh, and received a kick under the table from Ruggie.
As you tried to come up with a response, he leaned in and grabbed your book. “Making something?”
“The one for growing flowers. Its ingredients are the easiest to find.”
“Ah. I know where you can find them in the botanical garden. I’ll show you later.” He closed the book and slid it across the table.
“Wouldn’t I be invading your precious rest?”
“Then you’ll just have to catch up and be quick.”
Just then, Deuce returned with an expression twisted between confusion and betrayal. Ace barely felt guilt-- there were many things he had to discuss with Deuce (and Grim, though he seemed ignorant).
For now, he just let the pouting boy squeeze in beside him and quietly observed Leona and you throughout lunch, utilizing whatever knowledge he had about love to analyze the situation. He picked up on the way you took Leona’s vegetables without having to ask and how you slapped his hand away when he reached for the meat on your plate. Occasionally he would throw in a snarky comment that aimed to drive you up and wall, and smirk when it succeeded.
And those looks, sevens. If Ace had to watch for a minute longer he might have to puke in his lunch. He reckoned that he’d already seen enough before turning to address Deuce, who was still hung up on his seat being taken.
It felt great, holding this kind of knowledge over you. If he played his cards right, he might even get some benefits out of it.
“Dude, what’s with that creepy smirk on your face?” Ruggie pointed out suddenly.
Ace shrugged, “Nothing. You’ll know sooner or later.”
6.
Ruggie was the first to know.
Leona had been upfront and rather transparent about his feelings, but the hyena had long before noticed the shifts in Leona’s attitude towards you. It was hard not to when he was the one kicking him awake and dragging him to class everyday. Leona's actions spoke a lot more than words could, and the occasional passing glances were impossible to ignore.
When Ruggie confronted him about it, he admitted it while making it sound as casual as he could. Ruggie never for a second bought his nonchalance.
And it was great, knowing that his dorm leader wasn’t a stone-cold heartless jerk. It was both leverage and great material for teasing even when Leona would threaten to tape his mouth shut.
That was until the people came in. First it was Jack, then it was Epel, then the many other friends and acquaintances who wanted first-hand information on Leona’s love life. Even underclassmen whom he’d only seen around campus approached him. At first it was a great source of income— nothing came without a price after all— but when it began to interfere with his work, it didn’t feel so satisfying anymore.
If Leona would just make it official, it would make Ruggie’s life so much easier. But no, that lion was so stubborn that he hadn’t even confessed his feelings yet. And he doubted that you were any wiser.
Now Ruggie knew better than to stick his nose where he didn’t belong. There were countless ways in which things could go wrong and he really didn’t want to be on the receiving end of Leona’s wrath. Yet if they went right, he could get those nosy students off his back and end the torture of seeing you dance around each other like two dumbasses.
No, he wasn’t concerned about your (or Leona’s, for that matter) love life at all. He just wanted Leona to spend more time with you so he could catch a break.
Plus it’d put Leona in a good mood, and that’s really all he could ask for.
As usual, Leona’s room was disheveled when Ruggie entered, a chess board lying at the end of the bed while its rightful owner was snoozing, wrapped inside a blanket like a burrito. With light steps he lurked further in, inhaled deeply, and flung the file toward the sleeping lion with all his might.
Leona’s hand shot out from the blanket and caught the document mid-air. “What did I say about interrupting my naps, Bucchi?”
“That I should never wake you even if the sky’s falling down?”
As Leona stretched his limbs after the satisfying rest, the bed seemed to shrink in comparison. “You better have a good reason then.” He said mid-yawn, opening the file to read the papers inside. He was supposed to pick them up from Crowley, but decided that they weren’t important enough to warrant his presence.
Well, here goes nothing. “I take it that you haven’t heard then.”
“Heard what.”
“That the prefect is leaving soon,” Ruggie walked around the room to pick up the miscellaneous items on the floor, unfazed under the lion’s relentless glare. “Crowley found a way to send them back to wherever they came from. They’ve already started packin’, emptying the building and all.”
The silence was heavy. A heavy cloak of tension draped over the room.
“No,” Leona turned in his bed. “If they really were leaving, they would’ve told me.”
“Yea, but why?” Ruggie pushed, stifling a titter at the way Leona's tail swayed to and fro in growing agitation. “It’s not like you’re close or anything.”
Leona opened his mouth, closed it, opened it again. A laugh startled out of him. “You’re fucking with me, Bucchi. Don’t think I don’t know what you’re doing.”
"Whatever, man. I've said all I have to say." Ruggie took a peek of his meticulously concealed expression. It didn't matter that he wouldn't believe it now. He'd planted a fear in his heart, and fear was a vicious, powerful thing. He did one more round around the room, decided that Leona wasn't going to say anything else, and headed for the door.
“Y’know, I’m just saying, but we don’t know when, or  if they will come back, so maybe you should get off that— okay! Stop throwing shit at me! ” Ruggie scurried out with his tail between his legs, cursing under his breath.
“The things I do for these dumbasses… they better pay me ten donuts if it works– no, twenty!”
The blanket was starting to feel constricting. Leona kicked it off of him and reluctantly opened his eyes, now wide awake and ruminating on what Ruggie had just said.
You're leaving.
He rolled over and turned on his phone– something he almost never did. There were over a hundred unread emails and messages, mostly from home, but he ignored them all and found your contact after some scrolling. The last time you'd texted had been about his absence at the prefects' meeting, and he'd left you on read. In fact, the conversations were mostly one-way, with occasional 'ok's and insincere emojis dispersed on his side of the screen.
It wasn't that you didn't talk a lot. You usually met up in person, and if he really needed you, he could just call you, though that was not an usual occurrence.
"It's not like you're close or anything."
His eyes flew up to your status. Last online: 6 hours ago. His thumb hovered over the keyboard, then retreated.
So what if you were really leaving? It shouldn't matter to him. You were just someone he tolerated more than most, and he'd known from the beginning that you didn't belong here. There had always been an expiration date on your stay. The horror of you suddenly vanishing from his life shouldn't be this hollowing.
But it was very, very hollowing, and very, very real. Perhaps a part of him had always thought that everything would stay the same– you and him here, where he was far enough from home that he could forget his empty, meaningless title as the second prince, the unwanted son, where he could rest knowing that nothing, and no one, could take you away from him.
Maybe he was wrong. Maybe there was nothing he could do, and he was destined to lose you the way he'd lost everything he'd ever wanted to someone else.
Or maybe– there was a tiny voice at the back of his head– maybe he still wanted to try and fight against it, as pointless as it sounded. Deep down, he only knew two things: that he would never forgive himself if he just let you slip away, and that you were always worth trying for.
Stupid herbivore, always planting this stupid hope in his heart.
He all but hopped off the bed, and pointedly ignored Ruggie's smirk as he made a run for the mirror chamber.
Trapped on all sides with arms so sore you could barely lift them up, you reckoned that the decision to deal with all this by yourself was a great mistake.
There was old and new furniture occupying the spaces around you, and some more that were stuck on the porch, all demanding your attention. You’d naively thought that the unpacking and moving would take no time. And now it was dusk already, and you’d barely gone through half of the deliveries.
After what had probably been months of requesting and protesting, Crowley finally allowed you to buy some new furniture for your dorm with the school’s money. It’d felt like winning a long, taxing battle, finally able to bid farewell to the drawers that wouldn’t open and the chairs that wobbled.
It was all fine until the furniture came. You’d been in class when the driver rang, and by the time you returned, he'd already left, leaving the heavy boxes outside the door.
Perhaps you really should’ve called some friends from Savanaclaw that were strong enough to help. Jack, for one. Maybe even the unmotivated dorm leader. Anyone would be a much better help than Grim, really, who was probably outside the building trying to claw his way into the unopened boxes.
In the midst of your wallowing, you failed to pick up Grim’s sharp yell, only the slam of the front door that shook the whole building. A scolding formed on your tongue, but quickly dissolved when you heard heavy footsteps come up the stairs. Squeezing your way through the furnishings, you poked your head out of your room and waited.
The stomps came closer, stopped. A pause later, Leona came around the corner, mane disheveled and eyes flying around, almost in panic. When they landed on you, his shoulders sank in relief.
“Leona? Wh-”
“Thank the sevens,” He marched up to you in a few strides, and when he’s close enough, his arms suspended in the air, reaching for a part of you that he could touch. After a long moment, he stuck them back to his sides.
Emerald eyes landed on the disastrous scene inside the room, especially the emptied shelves and belongings piled in a corner. Something strained passed over his features.
Once you got over the initial shock, you remembered what you’d just been thinking of. “Hey, now that you're here, do you think you can help me move-”
“Don’t leave.”
You blinked. “What?”
He clicked his tongue in annoyance, brows knitted in a frown. “Don’t make me say it again… I can’t believe you decided to keep me in the dark.”
You looked inside the room and back at him. “I mean, it’s not that big of a deal.”
“What if it is for me?” With a gentle hesitation that you’d never seen him exhibit, he reached for your hand. Your heart skipped when he brought your knuckles to his lips, his gaze solely focused on you. He’d always loved lingering around your personal space, but not like this. Not with his feelings being put on display, like a show you weren’t supposed to see.
“I came here in such a rush that I didn’t even have time to think over what to say. Just…” he closed his eyes. “Reconsider your leave. Please. Or at the very least, stay for a few more weeks. You can’t just stumble into my life and leave without a sign. I don’t even want to imagine returning to a life without you. For this once, I need you to choose me.”
And then, as if realizing his unusual display of vulnerability, his face hardened up. “...Look, I rarely ask anything of anyone. Whatever deadly grip you have on me, you gotta be responsible for it.”
You sucked in a breath, processing his abrupt spill of feelings, before lowering your head. For a moment he took the trembling of your shoulders as you crying, but soon enough he recognized the peals of laughter that fell out of you. If he hadn’t just laid his heart out in front of you, he would’ve taken the time to indulge in the sound that he loved so much.
“Is this funny?” He scowled.
“Mm. No,” you jutted your head towards your room. “Did you think I was leaving?”
Confusion passed over his face. “Of course. You have everything packed, and Crowley…”
He trailed off, the gears in his head turning. Suddenly it all became clear to him. The new stuff laying around. The absence of your clingy friends. The simple fact that no one seemed to know that you were 'leaving'. After a moment, something akin to fury dawned on his expression. “…has never actually been helpful. Damn it, Bucchi.”
Your heart dipped when he removed his hand from around your wrist, ruffling his long locks. “Just a house makeover then. Got it. Forget about it. Bye.”
“Wait, no!” You rushed in front of him, blocking his exit. “What about all the stuff you just said?”
He raised a brow, feigning ignorance, and earned a roll of your eyes, “Well, I’m not letting them slide. I’m not going anywhere, at least not yet.” You thought for a moment. “The truth is, I haven’t decide if I want to leave. I’ve built so much around here that it’ll just be like leaving another home. But if it soothes you, I’m sure the day I have to choose is still far away from us. So, in the meantime…” You reached for his hand in the same manner, kissing the knot of his knuckle. His ears twitched, giving away his carefully concealed emotions. “Let me be responsible for the turmoils in your heart?”
“About damn time.” Leona moved in, this time landing the kiss on your lips, and his smile spread into it easily, like a lovesick lover returning home.

Speechless
Leona Kingscholar x GN!Reader
There you sat in the botanical garden, under the shade of a tree as the sunlight peeked through the curtain of green. The warmth was welcomed and very much needed, it felt so serene to simply sit there in the garden. The scent of herbs played at your nose all while your legs went numb.
Why?
Simple, the lazy lion was napping, and you were the lucky one chosen to be his pillow. You sighed, unable to get up, his weight stopping your body from moving.
"Leona, it's been an hour, get up." You said, trying to shake the lion awake. As you did so, his ears twitched in response as he let out a small grumble.
"Maybe later, stay put for now..." He replied, one of his eyes opening as a smirk played at his lips. His head rested between your thighs and on your stomach, his weight literally putting your legs to sleep.
Thinking back, maybe it wasn't a very calming scene when your legs were numb, but at least your surroundings were serene, right?
You sighed, trying to move your legs, violently shaking him. Your hands pushed at his toned arms, trying to push his weight off yourself.
"Leona, get up, my legs are numb." You said, your voice holding annoyance, your hands still trying to push him off your legs. One of his eyes opened, an amused smirk playing at his lips.
"Herbivore, you're gettin' way too comfortable 'round me.."
His words contained amusement as a smug grin played at his lips. You were sure something was bound to happen now, the grin he had on his lips hinted that he was ought to do something now.
You weren't really sure exactly how it happened other than the sudden feeling of his hands clasping around your waist. Yet, just a moment later, there you lay underneath him, his vibrant eyes staring into yours for just a second, before he lay on you.
He simply pulled you underneath him, laying on top of you, restricting any movement. You could feel his warm breath on your neck, your legs entangled. A small blush painted your face as you tried to speak. Yet, for some reason your voice wouldn't come out.
"I told ya to stay still for a bit longer, but you're an impatient herbivore.." He said not long before he chuckled, slowly rising up.
Now there he was, pinning you to the ground. Your wrists were in his grasp being pinned by your sides with force, not enough to hurt but enough to restrict any movement. He grinned noticing your expression, his sharp teeth peeking out.
"Hm? Herbivore, why're ya so red? Flustered?" He leaned closer, his face nuzzling in the crook of your neck, his lips pressing a fleeting kiss on the sensitive skin.
"Guess I made ya speechless? That's alright, you'll make plenty noises for me later. For now, I'll relish in your silence.." He teased before fully laying on top of you, using your body as a pillow, as he drifted off to sleep. All while you were left there, your body struggling under his, your face burning up from his words.
The scene remained serene, the leaves on the trees fluttering in the wind, silence enveloping the garden as you lay there, under him.
He may have slept for hours, you weren't sure, your mind was running a bit too fast for you to notice. The close contact wasn't something new, but the way he said things always left you so vulnerable.
Everything was serene, the garden, the wind, and him. Everything except you
No, you were far too flustered.
You were speechless...

a world without you
Pairing: Leona Kingscholar x gn!reader
Synopsis: When Leona hears the Shroud brothers' plan, he thinks back to his herbivore, and how their existence has changed so much for him.
Tags: spoilers up to Ch 6!!!, established relationship, angst but fluff, drama, bot proofread
Word count: 878
Notes: this can be read as my view of leona's character, so please accept my leona brainrot <3 just some thoughts I had when I read ch 6. also leona might be a little ooc but it's his internal thoughts so I like to think he's more emotional :3
Tumblr media
"It needs to reset before we can start a new game."
Tumblr media
Shocked expressions were exchanged across the room as the implications of the younger Shroud's plan slowly settled on everyone's mind.
Leona couldn't help but think that, if the opportunity had been given to him a year ago, he'd likely have accepted whatever the robot kid was going for.
Leona always felt that he had been cheated in life. Ever since he was young, he was constantly compared to his older brother, who was seen as the epitome of success in their family, the perfect heir to the throne. Everyone would constantly praise his brother's achievements while dismissing his own accomplishments as trivial. It didn't matter that he was working hard to prove himself, that he could wield such powerful magic as a child.
He often wondered why he had to be born, if he was only meant to stay in another person's shadow to make them seem brighter in contrast.
No matter how hard he studied, how mature he acted, or how strong his magic was, it was all pointless. The ghostly whispers of the palace staff continued, and the judging remarks from the council intensified.
He was born as the second prince.
And he was destined to forever be just that—second.
When it finally clicked for him, he stopped trying. Why make an effort in anything, when time and time again, he had given his all only to end up with nothing? They say the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over, yet expecting different results. Despite what others might say, Leona was incredibly brilliant, with a sharp mind fit to be a wise ruler. He knew, without a doubt, that it was pointless to continue down the road of insanity.
Instead, he continued down the path of sloth, eventually finding everything, the entire world, pointless. He found himself skipping classes and taking naps whenever he could, hiding away from the world where he would never be able to stand under the sun, but at least comforted by the serene embrace of his dreams.
He had wanted to turn the world to sand and start over.
It had been a wild thought, but here the Shrouds were, proposing an entire reset of the world.
Leona's mind raced as he contemplated the consequences of such an ordeal. Indeed, he had always dreamed of a world where everyone had an equal chance to succeed, where people were not judged based on their social status, birth order, or magical ability. A world where he was no longer burdened by the expectations of his family, where he was free to be who he truly was, a world where everyone was given a fair chance to succeed, and where no one was left behind.
And yet, without realising it, the thought of starting over in a new world had left his mind ever since you came into his life. You were everything he had ever wished for but never deserved in a partner—kind, caring, and endlessly supportive, always by his side despite his crude demeanour and harsh words. You showed him that there was meaning to living, opening his eyes to the people around him. He had friends who cared about him, incredible talent that could bring great changes, and most importantly, you, his dearest herbivore who shone like a beacon in the shadowed depths of his heart.
For the first time in his life, he felt truly content with what he had, despite all the flaws and problems that persisted.
He had never cared about resetting the world and losing everything he had to start anew. But it was a different story now.
What would happen to the people he cared about in this new world? What if he never met you? What if everything he had ever known and loved was erased? And what of the memories that he made at NRC with you, with Savanaclaw, and everyone else?
Leona's thoughts drifted to his memories of you, your fierce eyes staring directly into his, determined to befriend him; the quiet evenings you had spent together under the starry sky sharing stories and enjoying each other's company; the way you would instinctively lean into him for comfort; the dazzling smile that graced your face when you spotted him in a crowd.
He made up his mind then.
He didn't want, no, he wouldn't risk losing you. Your presence had given him the joy he had never experienced, the hope for a better day tomorrow, and he wouldn't give that up for anything. He would continue to work towards a fairer world, but he would do so without resetting everything that he had come to cherish.
He had learned to appreciate the people in his life. He had found happiness, despite the unfairness of the world. He knew that he had found something precious in this unfair world—someone who cherished him wholeheartedly for whatever he may be.
No, he doesn't want to reset the world.
"I'll grant you one thing. The world totally sucks as it is. But I don't think your new one would be any more to my taste. So I'm going to stick with this one. It's less of a pain."

Legend has it... Twisted Halloween series
Tumblr media
Behind pumpkin spice lattes and sweet candy, there comes stories of the things that go bump in the night. Legends and myths carry with them stories of those who may or may not have lived to experience it.
For each character for each day (except weekends) starting today, there will be a short blurb for every student character inspired by a horror trope or legend in the spirit of Halloween month. I will be writing on the spot for every story so the genres (no beta we perish like big people) will be dependent on how the stories end up so even I can’t tell how it’ll be. This is purely motivated by my love for things spooky and/or ooky. I will write warnings for each blurb if needed but I’m warning you now since I love horror stuff, it will not be the happiest of stories. I’m probably not gonna go full dark but this is a forewarning.
This is the index, but it may change depending on how the blurb will end up.
Day 1. Silver (ghost!Reader x exorcist!Silver)
Silver works as a police officer during a hit-and-run trial, and he’s trying to console the victim of the incident. He’s trying his best to convince you to leave before it’s too late.
Day 2. Jack Howl (werewolf!Jack x childhood friend!Reader)
You and Jack were so close as kids but he keeps refusing to have a sleepover with you when you reached high school. Then one day, you found out the reason on your way back one night.
Day 3. Epel Felmier (dream demon!Epel x schoolmate!Reader)
Your classmate was so confusing. So sweet and demure, but sometimes he seems to turn into someone else, someone with less than good intentions.
Day 4. Rook Hunt (slit mouthed woman!Reader x ghost hunter!Rook)
You missed the days where your immortal life was easier, when most people run at the sight of you. But, this creepy hunter keeps chasing you!
Day 5. Leona Kingscholar (demon!Leona x demon hunter!Reader)
You get a kick out of debunking ghost stories and haunted places with your disgruntled friend, Leona. Will you ever get to see anything?
Day 6. Idia Shroud (VC ghost!Reader x Online friend!Idia)
Idia has this unprecedented confidence behind the screen, with fans and friends at his fingers. However, one casual online chat broke his confidence as he say something he can’t take back.
Day 7. Floyd Leech (merman!Floyd x bullied!Reader)
A nobody at school, your only solace was taking in the serenity of the ocean cove away from the big city. However, a dweller has more than happy to show you a part of his world.
Day 8. Vil Schoenheit (Huli Jing!Reader x lover!Vil)
People call you the unrivaled beauties and with rumors of engagement in the air. Vil was prepared to devote himself to his beloved but his old friend Jack warned him that you were not as you seem.
Day 9. Trey Clover (candy witch!Trey x partner!Reader)
The man from the pastry shop near you was so sweet, also offering endless sweets on your way to work. You were melting in his touch when you two started dating. This was a man who was as sweet and pure as sugar, right?
Day 10. Jade Leech (cannibal!Jade x partner!Reader)
Your husband was always experimenting with every dish he made but he smiles when you take a bite each time so you think it’s no big deal. Afterall, what’s the worst to come of it?
Day 11. Malleus Draconia (dragon god!Malleus x sacrifice!Reader)
Traditions must be upheld, even at the expense of morality as you were lead to what many said was instant death. It didn’t matter to you, you were willing to give yourself to the being of inhuman power.
Day 12. Cater Diamond (imposter!Cater x skeptic!Reader)
Everyone knows him and was just that approachable but not to you. You couldn’t explain the shiver you feel when you lock eyes with him. You only hope he doesn’t notice you.

Day 14. Ruggie Bucchi (street kid!Ruggie x ???!Reader)
Despite hardships, you and Ruggie never worried so long as you had each other. The two of you look after each other, no matter what.
Day 15. Kalim Al Asim (bitten!Kalim x survivor!Reader)

Day 18. Ace Trappola (ghost bride!Reader x survivor!Ace)
Ace was not a romantic man but he could be for the one. He kept denying it but he was looking forward to your wedding, even dreaming it…even when it was impossible.
Day 19. Deuce Spade (hitchhiker ghost!Reader x civilian!Deuce)
Deuce couldn’t just leave you alone, shivering in the dark. After all, this road was notorious for car accidents and mysterious attacks.
Day 20. Sebek Zigvolt (soldier!Sebek x ghost!Reader)
↳ sequel
He was a devoted man through and through. He promised he would return to you and in return, you promised to be here when he does, no matter what.
Day 21. Riddle Rosehearts (Frankenstein monster!Riddle x assistant!Reader)
He was a monstrosity. A freak of nature and you wanted nothing to do with him, even if he was someone you once loved.

Kiss The Girl
Hey guys, sorry for being dead. Lol. School has been kicking my ass and so I wrote this little drabble for @dibbledoodle (WISH THEM A HAPPY BIRTHDAY)
Anyway, Its a Dib x Jade Leech so enjoy~!
Azul couldn't believe this. Being dragged along on a hiking trip with Jade, Floyd, and Dib?! A hiking trip?! Azul couldnt believe how this was happening to him as they reached the top of the mountain. It was a gorgeous sight and with plenty to see as Jade and Dib seemed to be busying themselves with chat about nature. Yet, Azul could feel the sweat dripping off of his brow as he scanned the view of the area they came to stop at.
Could… Mountains hold vast amounts of water? Such as a lake? Well, he has heard about lakes being surrounded by mountains but this was the first time we saw one at this high of altitude! The water must’ve been absolutely freezing if it weren't for the fact that the trio had come from freezing waters.
“And this is Moraine Lake, are you curious as to why it is so turquoise in color, Dib?” Jade hummed out, a serene smile on his face as he turned to the shorter woman who could only stare in awe at the beautiful mountain range that surrounded the lake.
“Because… Someone dropped a whole bunch of food coloring into the lake to make it a tourist spot?” Dib replied as she glanced over at Jade who could only chuckle at her response.
“Funny idea, but no. It is due to the glacier that feeds into this deposit that is later reflected from the rock flour being mixed into it… Does that make sense?” Jade asked out as he put his hand under his chin, wondering if he had confused Dib enough with the lore of the lake, hoping that Dib would only ask more questions about the said lake.
“Rock flour being refracted to make a koolaid color blue, yeah yeah I get it!” Dib stated back, looking back at the lake only to spot little two seater boats that she most definitely wanted to get on. Without a moment to pause, her hand grabbed onto Jade’s free hand and began to drag him down the side of the hill to the boats, leaving a confused Floyd and exhausted Azul behind.
“I cant believe we are here.” Azul stated out, closing his eyes as he was hunched over, hieving for his breath in the low altitude climate.
“Do you wanna go watch them…?” Floyd asked out in his usual bored tone, and Azul thought about it for just a mere five seconds.
“Yes.”
How could the sun set so fast within the mountains? Had they been rowing for a while?! Dib couldn't tell but she had been chatting with Jade the whole time. As for where they went? It didn't really matter to either of them. How the sun reflected off of the turquoise blue surface painting the snow capped mountains with a shimmering gold hue along their grayscale colors. Everything felt… So right.
“There you see her, sitting there across the way!”
Jade could feel his eyebrow twitch as he heard a voice pop up from the water around them. Azul, he assumed at least just by the sound of his voice. Always one for having an excellent voice unlike his brother Floyd.
“Shes got a lot to say, yet there's something about her.”
Azul continued as both Floyd and Azul swam around the boat beneath them, evil smirks on their faces as they peeked up at Dib and Jade. Jade's expression was unreadable by the way he still held his placid smile as he stared at Dib across the boat. Yet, Dib's cheeks were slowly lighting up shades of pink as she listened to an all too familiar song. As the boat slowly spun around in a circle thanks to Azul's and Floyd's influence under the water.
“And you don't know why but you're dying to try, you wanna kiss the girl.”
Jade could only chuckle as he looked over at Dib who was staring into the water, trying to find the very obvious sirens who were urging Jade to attempt the unspeakable. Of course he wanted to kiss Dib, but he always thought he might've not had the biggest chance due to Leona being in his way. Yet… This was his chance!!
“Dib, I…” Yet, before Jade could finish his sentence, a loud splash could be heard as Jade's eyes flashed to the rocking boat with a mischievous eel peeking over the boat, having purposely knocked it around. Jade could only blink once, snapping out of his shock as he heard the splash sounds of Dib within the cold glacier water.
“Jade!! Jade help! I fell! And there's no door for me to hold onto!!” Dib shouted out as they splashed around within the water while beneath the surface was Floyd chuckling away and Azul facepalming at the idiocy he was now getting dragged into during this time. As for Jade, he was snapping out of his momentary shock as he jumped into the water and began to carry Dib through the cold glacier water of the lake back to shore.
“A door, hm…? Do tell, is this another thing from your world Dib?” Jade asked out cooly as he brought Dib to the shore smiling down at Dib as they were sprawled out on the shoreline as they were panting for breath. “Wouldn't you like to know, just don't let go Jack— I mean Jade.” Dib responded before chilling, referencing an all too familiar movie.
Although at hearing and all too familiar wolfs name, Jade could only grumble ever so softly with his placid sinister smile. “And what is my reward for saving you, Dib?”
“Go on and kiss the girl!”
Azul and Floyd sang together from off in the water as Dib blushed slightly more as Jade's smile only widened more.
“That sounds like a brilliant idea.”
Without a moment to spare, Jade leaned down to softly capture Dib's lips in a soft sharp toothed kiss which left Dib absolutely flushed as the scene began to fade away as an all too familiar alarm began to ring out in Dib's ears.
“Dib! Dib cmon!! You're gonna be late!” Grim called out as he threw a pillow at Dib as he tried his best to wake up Dib for the next day of classes. Dib could only blink slowly, their eyes open as they could stare up at the wooden ceiling of the Ramshackle and groan, putting their arm across their eyes as she sighed.
“It was all a dream… Yet, I know where to go hiking next time with Jade.”

♡the lions run at night♡
Despite being a prince in his brother’s precious kingdom, Leona was more of a phantom in the shadows with the way he appeared and disappeared throughout the day, avoiding the incessant duties the royal family was expected to complete as leaders of the kingdom. If Leona wasn’t king, then what was the point in working in a position he did not wish to have? He’d much rather doze off in the palace’s serene gardens or order around his gentleman-in-waiting, Ruggie Bucchi, rather than waste his days in a drab, old meeting room with nobles who were only there to suck up to the king’s power through Leona. It sickened him and sent a bile taste to the back of his throat. Being around those leeching nobles, he means. Each one wanted the same as the last: money, control, the king’s place at the throne—you know, the usual needy desires a noble can have.
Although, the young prince of Sunset Savanna had come to realize that you had been drastically different. As the heir to a dukedom in a far off land, you were a common visitor at the Kingscholar’s palace, with you attending each and every meeting, ball, and social gathering his brother’s kingdom had to offer. You were kind, so intelligent, an overachiever in every way possible, took part in royal gatherings, and—
It pissed him off. Every smile on your face was fake, every word you spoke was hollow, and each thing you did felt so… manipulated. Like you were a marionette while your dukedom was the puppeteer. The picture perfect heir to a controlling duchy. Leona could see right past your goody-goody facade and he hated it. He despised the way you two had been chained to the orders of your families, despised the way you barely showed any authentic emotions, and despised the fact that you both had been drowning in your own misery.
Leona wanted to change that.
And so, lazily pulling you along the long, barren halls of the grandiose palace, the prince of Sunset Savanna guided you away from royal grounds and into a mystical forest adjacent to the Kingscholar’s castle. The forest was filled with enchanting creatures and flowers alike, with pixies, magical butterflies, mysterious mushrooms, and plentiful groups of fairies adorning the forest trees with golden dust that looked like heaven. It was like a dream you wished would never end.
“I’m leaving this godforsaken place, and you’re coming with me,” Leona declared, interrupting your entranced state.
“Wait, what? Why me all of a sudden?”
Leona immediately stopped in his tracks at your words. There was no way you could be so clueless, right? I mean, you were the only other person he spoke to in the palace and the only noble he genuinely enjoyed speaking to! Were you also so blind to his obvious stares and glances back at every ball you both would attend?
The young prince sighed and thought to himself. Wow, all of these brains, but you can’t tell when a guy likes you? Pfft— The whole ordeal was laughable, really, but he realized that now was not the time to tease you about it. Maybe later, he supposed. After he dealt with your airheaded self.
“Ugh, fuck it! I can’t take it anymore,” Leona said as he gently grasped your shoulders to make you face him, while gradually inching closer to your figure intimately. His actions were so tense that even the fae flying around you two halted in the jittery energy the prince had exposed. This was completely unlike him, and he knew it. But since when did falling in love ever make sense, hm?
Leona held your body close to his as his emerald eyes bore into your own colored ones. “I’m afraid your existence in my life has tremendously done wonders to my racing heart. It’s not fair. It was never fair. I may have to ask for yours in return.”
“Leona, I—”
"Just take my hand, herbivor. Don't you dare second guess yourself and come with me. I know you hate this place just as much as I do.”
Perhaps a knight in shining armor isn’t all a tale needs to be saved. Perhaps what it truly needs is two suffocating souls, lost and bleary, finding each other in the masses and pulling one another out of the shadows they had found themselves in. There was no sole “savior” because the two souls would save each other.
A happily ever after only you and Leona could create for yourselves.

Leona loves to nap. It’s a general information about him. The whole NRC knows about this. He spends his time napping every time he has the opportunity. It’s hard to get him to go to his classes. Even Ruggies gives up easily.
It’s rare to see an unmotivated lion becomes sleepless. Only he knows the reason. He never wanted to tell anyone about this. If he feels not good, not feeling well as in having a bad mood, overthinking, negative thinking, or perhaps something else, he feels irritated and sometimes sleepless.
If a nap makes him feel better, sometimes it doesn’t. He keeps his feelings to himself and there are times when those feelings overflow turns into anger, insecurity, fear, etc.
Leona’s not good with expressing his feelings in words, but his actions tell otherwise. But the good thing is that he feels comfortable to reveal it to you. Not always and it takes time.
Tonight, is one of his sleepless days. He moves to face the window and tries to sleep. It doesn’t work at all. This bothered him a lot. Why tonight of all nights? As he sighs, he gets up and remembered there’s only one place where he usually takes a nap.
The Botanical Garden.
The lion goes out from his bedroom and walks to the garden. A yawn escapes from his mouth. Perhaps he could sleep there. However, he didn’t expect to see a certain herbivore to be there as well, yes, you.
“Leona?” You see him open the door and walk inside the garden.
“What are ya doing here, herbivore?” His face looks sleepy yet he couldn’t sleep.
You explain him that you’re feeling sleepless. Oh, so you too, huh. He’s not surprised to his S/O feels sleepless, but he’s worried. The beastman lets out a sigh and sits beside you. He leans on you and position himself to hold you. Well, it’s rare to see him here this late and so you ask him.
Gosh, the Leona Kingscholar feels sleepless? Now, he worries you. A growl of a lion reaches your ear when you ask him what’s wrong. Even the lion beastman can feel sleepless. It must be hard for him.
There’s no such as a perfect king. Even the king of the beast has their own hard times. The king needs your presence right now. Your presence is a comfort to him. You don’t have to say a word for now. save it for the morning.
A soft palm gently pats his head. It drives him to the world of dreams more and more. The Botanical Garden is very serene and quiet. His steady breathes and his sleep face next to you make you sleepy as well.
Sleeping with him is always comfortable. Your eyelids start to close. Its touch lulls you to sleep as well. It’s not that bad to sleep in here just for tonight. In the morning, be prepared to feel the embarrassed, because a teacher finds the two of you sleeping in the garden together overnight.

could you make a reader who loves rock and is also super good at physical activities? with Leona and Azul.
Sure! I remember asking you to clarify some things about your request and now I realize how silly my questions were after rereading the request for the umpteenth time.
08/01/2022 - 08/09/2022
Pairings: Leona Kingscholar; Azul Ashengrotto x Reader (separately)
Word Count: 425 (for Leona); 456 (for Azul)
Warnings: Nothing that I can think of!
Gender: Gender Neutral as it was not specified in the request.
Notes: I'm lowkey super hyped about this request because I've never been requested anything like it. It's very unique, so I'm very excited!
Also, I'm going to do headcanons for this request, simply because I feel like it. If you'd like some other type of fic, you're more than welcome to request again!
Oh, and before I forget, the requester has specified that they'd like the Reader to listen to Metaleiro and for the Azul headcanon, the Reader be taller than him.
In which Leona Kingscholar and Azul Ashengrotto have significant others who love rock music and are very good at physical activities.
Leona Kingscholar:
Leona's probably the more chill amongst the two when it comes to a significant other like this.
After all, Sunset Savannah was filled to the brim with extremely athletic individuals, so it didn't faze Leona in the slightest seeing Y/N be as good at physical activities as they were.
What Leona did find amusing was the way Y/N was. They'd never be found without, at the very least, a black choker. Leona recalled Y/N talking about how the NRC uniform wasn't bad because it was mostly black. On one rare occasion when they were allowed to go shopping by the headmaster, Y/N bought many black ties. And black chokers. And chains. And spiky bracelets. Y/N also was an individual who had...interesting tastes in music.
Specifically, rock music.
Leona didn't really have much of an opinion on music, much less rock, but he did have an issue with it when his significant other decided it'd be a brilliant idea to blast the horrid sounds whilst he slept. There was no doubt that Y/N gained much amusement out of the fact.
Perhaps this herbivore was much more bolder than he'd given them credit for.
It was one of those such incidents when Leona was sunbathing and enjoying the serene habitat he was resting in.
Or at least it was serene until Y/N showed up. :(
Y/N excitedly told Leona about this artist they listened to quite often back in their world and now they've been able to somehow find them in some obscure dimension of Magicam. Metaliro was it?
Y/N continued raving about the artist, Metaleiro, and his songs.
Oh, so it was Metaleiro, not Metaliro-
And then out of nowhere (although Leona should have very well expected it), one of Y/N's favorite rock songs started playing.
For once, it wasn't one of the more "heavy" metal songs they'd have force Leona to listen to. Rather, it seemed much more lowkey.
Leona casually asked Y/N what the song was and they told him that it was called "La Casa de Trap." Humming, he acknowledged the song's existence and continued to rest with his eyes closed, hoping to drift away into slumber.
And for once, Y/N decided that they'd let Leona have his serene habitat and played some more gentle rock songs (and the occasional rock trap song) while running their fingers through Leona's hair.
Ruggie eventually stumbled upon the two lovers and smirked to himself. He took a picture or two for future blackmail as well.
Azul Ashengrotto:
Azul's the more surprised of the two.
His significant other is an individual who seemed to only ever wear the color black and would almost never be seen without wearing a choker and a spiked bracelet or two (and chains if they're really feeling themselves that day).
At first, Azul stayed clear of the Ramshackle Prefect, simply because he didn't see any benefits that he could gain from them.
That was the case until the overblots started occurring. And Azul had no choice but to accept that Y/N was an incredibly strong individual for having to deal with everything they do.
When the two first started dating, Azul had a bit of an inferiority complex. Y/N had a much bigger build than him and practically towered over him (not really, but this is his inferiority complex we're talking about here).
He never admitted it out loud, but Y/N could tell that he felt a bit off about not being the one they could rely on for many things.
So, eventually, one day, Y/N sat him down in his office and the two had a nice long chat about how Y/N is a very strong and independent person who doesn't always rely on others for everything.
But that didn't mean they don't rely on others at all. They assured Azul that when they truly needed it, the first person they'd come to for assistance would be him.
Things got a lot better after that. Azul had come to accept that his significant other and himself were equals and just because they don't rely on one another all the time doesn't mean that they don't appreciate one another.
Of course, the teasing never stopped.
What teasing you ask?
Oh, the teasing that Jade, Floyd, and Y/N subject Azul to, of course~
Azul's well known to not be the most athletic student at NRC, but Floyd and Y/N made it their life's mission to torture Azul with athleticism as much as possible.
Azul also questions Y/N's tastes in music at times (although he does respect it). The songs they listen to are loud, have interesting rhythms, and seem...energetic.
Just about every other day, Y/N would track Azul down with whatever power they have (only the Great Sevens would know the answer to that) and make him listen to another rock song they found, or are listening to on repeat once more in their life.
Azul doesn't really have an affinity for rock music, however, he knows that his significant other loves it, and for that sole reason, he respects the musical genre.
Although that one artist Y/N kept raving about...ah, yes! Metaleiro! His music didn't seem all that bad.

tma x oc's cards, finally
after many days of boredom in class it is complete, the full the magnus archives fear entities x my oc's cards! some of these are a definite stretch with how they associate with the fear but hey, its cool and finally done. mostly done in class, enjoy these blurbs of context, not in any particular order:
Elliot O'Rourke: The Dark
One of the oldest fears, the dark has always been fascinating. Its mysteriousness in what it could hide, or simply just the lack of light, has been a topic of fascination for her for as long as she could remember. What could hide in there? Who could hide in there? What is darkness, exactly? All these questions craved answers, and what better way to get them by becoming one with the darkness?
Micah Lycan: The Buried
The warm embrace of cramped spaces, being hugged by your surroundings, acts almost like a blanket from the outside. The ability to wield a forcefield allows him to enter such spaces without fear of his surroundings collapsing on him, but after finding comfort in the compression he learns he doesn’t need such protections. Being in a place that gives a hug that well just makes him sleepy, as if he could fall asleep in its embrace at any time.
Marshall Woods: The Vast
Anywhere but here is where he wanted to be, and having the ability to manipulate the sky’s air as he sees fit makes him feel closer to the emptiness of sky blue as ever before. He wishes to show others the sereneness of the open, and cant help but find a little fun in doing so. What’s the harm in increasing the breeze just enough to where you feel dizzy with vertigo, eventually making you fall off his precious sky island? It's alright though, the Vast will catch you.
Kima Makarov: The Flesh
Being affiliated with such a fear seems almost ironic as a healer, but her connections lie in how her healing works. When you have a cut, she uses her patron’s mobility to move the flesh around the cut to fuse the torn flesh together, creating an almost perfectly sealed wound. She only asks for you to freak out a little more than you already have by seeing your damaged flesh move about unnaturally as a payment.
Leona von Orii: The Lonely
As the youngest of four siblings, she feels like she has to put her own feelings aside for the sake of others. Being a part of a notorious thieves guild doesn’t help too much either; all you do has to be for the collective, nothing for yourself. This guild prioritized those who had ties to the supernatural, such as her mutant sister, so even when it came to her own family she felt subpar. The one time she was trusted with leading a mission, she got herself and her sister caught. Loss after loss affects you. In the place she was locked up in before her rehabilitation, she had plenty of time to reflect. What else did she have to lose now? Beaten to submission, she now finds loyalty with the Lonely, to have others feel what she felt to feed and repay her patron, who acted more as a supporter than anyone else in her life.
Raquel von Orii: The Web
As a mutant, all she knows is who she isn't. A spider monster fusion which upon completion of the transformation gave her some otherworldly violet eyes that should not exist here, but it also gave her a sense of connection to almost everything around her, especially how locations connect to each other. Sometimes, she wonders what it would be like if she wasn’t ever a mutant, never had creature DNA fused with her own, but sometimes she remembers that’s all she knows. Everything she did in life happened because of that one key moment, and why not embrace the spidery side of her by putting her loyalties to the Web, where she can learn to utilize the connections she feels? It even feels like she was born for this; it seems too perfect.
Minu Kanara: The Hunt
The thrill of the chase is what keeps her employed. As a member of a prestigious bloodline, reputation is all she has. Why not use it for a cause? Becoming a royal guard was no easy feat, but hey, you can’t help but relish the feeling you get for chasing after a criminal with such a title as yours.
Maxine Clemace: The Spiral
Having the ability to mess with a short period of time as you see fit already has moral issues, but it causes quite the mess mentally too. When you could have sworn you saw that person behind you a second ago, just to glance over and see them in front of you right now, how did they get there? Was it your eyes playing tricks on you, or was it that, somehow, time itself stopped for that one person? You have no idea for how long, and what they did while time is stopped, but you hope that assumption is false, that your eyes are just playing tricks on you. No one should ever have the ability to mess with literal time, or else all you know would be false, right?
Axon Makaia: The End
He has a very interesting relationship with death. He was born on a small island, with a small family, just them against the world. As his mother became sicker and sicker, his family became more distant, afraid they’ll catch what she has and succumb to their inevitable fate sooner, like her. He wondered if this trail of death is what is really against them in the world. He wondered how it would feel to rest like them, to end, to end this cycle of death while, ironically, feeding into it more. Perhaps it would be for the better.
Eramana Maar: The Slaughter
Being an avid dimension traveler means you see the best and worst of both worlds, the hellish landscape may repulse other visitors, but that is what she liked about it. The calmer weather in the other dimension made it the main one, but it attracted a lot of attention. When the hellish landscape receives more attention than it wants, things can get messy, like the hiring of mercenaries to keep it civil. She couldn’t help having heritage from both locations, but she used both for a cause, to keep the primordial balance between what belongs in one world versus what belongs in the other.
Austin County: The Eye
Mind reading opens so many doors to knowledge. Who cares about breaching privacy or other morals in order to hear the deepest thoughts and secrets of others? Having the mind be as open as hers makes one wonder how far she is willing to go to fill its open spaces, even if it means using morally questionable methods of doing so.
Katelyn Lawrence: The Corruption
There’s something comforting about knowing you share blindness with others, even if they fall outside of your species. You don’t always need eyes to see, the presence of others can be good enough guidance already, even if those others are insects.
Melissa Steilahn: The Desolation
When you have been touched by violence since childhood, there will always be some sort of deeper rage desperately trying to crawl out. When the manifestation of fire abilities came early, for example, how else did you expect to use them? By showing others the same pain you were forced to feel as a child, of course, as a sort of revenge. How was it fair that you felt the worst pain of your life, while everyone else was comfortable? It simply isn't fair.
Chase Woods: The Stranger
Despite having airborne abilities like her brother, she was never one to flaunt them. In fact, she loved using them for deception. Her favorite pastime was seeing how many people she could fool into thinking the mannequin behind them was the source of a gust of wind, or perhaps a whisper that felt like one. Sometimes she will think too hard about the almost human, uncanny nature of them and think how easy it would be for them to be human, if only for the alteration of a few traits. Perhaps, with her new loyalty, she can make that happen. Besides, what’s the difference between a mannequin and a human if both move and act alive?

Envy
Leona x Cece oneshot.
----------------------
Seeing his family wasn't something he liked, it was something that exhausted him both physically and mentally.
It was annoying being Cheka's babysitter but he preferred that to talking to his brother. Leona couldn't bear to see how the servants licked boots around Farena while with him, they just talked shit about the second prince.
On this occasion, he and Farena had a strong argument in which Leona immediately returned to the NRC and slammed the door of his room and wrapped himself in the blankets of the bed.
In that state it was better not to bother him and the Savanaclaw students knew that perfectly well.
The lion would soon fall sound asleep until after a few hours, Leona felt the familiar caress of someone on his head.
His emerald green eyes slowly opened to meet Cece's and it would not be long before he wrapped his huge arms around the blonde's waist while she was still caressing his head.
"Ruggie already told me everything" Cecilia spoke in a soft tone, looking sadly at Leona.
But the lion didn't speak, he just buried his face against Cecilia's belly, he didn't want to talk about it and Cece wasn't going to press him. Leona just wanted her to pamper him for a while, like the huge cat that he was.
There was a silence in the room until Leona finally spoke.
"Have you ever felt envy towards your brother?" He asked this question looking at Cece, she stopped with the caresses and looked at him surprised...Oh, maybe it was a very direct question, besides, the relationship between Cecilia and her brother was different from him with Farena.
"...Yes" Cecilia replied and it was Leona's turn to be surprised, since he did not expect to hear that answer.
"But I thought you admired him, I mean, you always talk about Allen and how wonderful he is and all his achievements..." Leona might have sounded rude talking about Cece's brother in that way, but he didn't mean to.
"But I have also felt envious of him sometimes, even when we were children and he received all the praise from the servants and nobles that surrounded him while to me, they only said cruel things towards me" She said with complete honesty "It's not easy not to feel that way sometimes"
Leona nodded his head slightly, agreeing with her.
"But at the end of the day, Allen is my brother and he has always defended me, being that he is the only family I have" She added to her words "And it has not been easy for him either especially after the death of our father, carrying an entire kingdom by yourself is hard work and everyone expects the best from you."
He kept thinking for a moment, yes, Farena must also have taken on a kingdom only after their father fell ill and could no longer carry out his duties as king. In addition to the fact that now his brother was the father of a family...And Farena also cares about him, his younger brother.
But even so, Leona still felt that resentment for Farena.
"There's a story that Merlin once told me when I was a little girl." The blonde's voice interrupted the Savanaclaw leader's thoughts. Leona's ears now swung in Cece's direction, making it clear that he was now listening carefully.
"It was about a prince who felt enormous envy for his older brother who was king of a distant land and it was so his desire to have what his brother had, that he killed him to become the new king"
She told the story serenely, but for a moment Leona felt a shiver run through his body.
"...But he was his brother" Leona replied frowning, feeling uncomfortable to hear that story. He would usually ignore these kinds of things, because they are just stories, but this story was causing a strange feeling that even himself could not describe.
"True, but when envy is mixed with resentment and pain, they make people blind and end up hurting someone who was innocent" Cecilia replied, thinking for a moment that this character in Merlin's story was not very different from Morgane's story.
Younger brothers who lived in the shadows of their older brothers, wishing to possess the crown of their respective kingdoms so that people would admire and respect them, but this would only be at the cost of killing the older brother.
"My brother is an idiot but I would never hurt him or his family" Leona spoke sitting on the bed, a drop of sweat ran down his cheek and his tail hit the mattress hard.
Only there was a little difference regarding their endings... Because one of them ended up crying with regret.
B̴͖͈̀̔͗u̸͍̽͋͠t̶͇̀͝ ̷͙̿͊͠ņ̶̮́ǒ̸͍͇̬̃̏ ̷̦͖̓ǒ̸͇͖̽͝ǹ̷̡̙̫͋͑ę̸̘́ ̷͚͙̪̿̀̓k̶̹̒n̵̼̮͒̅e̵̙͚̺̎ẅ̶͉͙͍ ̴̗̒t̵̛̲́h̵̢͈̎̊ͅḁ̷̘̅͜ţ̷̬͖́͌͠ ̷̟͗͋͌ṡ̶̢i̶͙͝d̵̢̬̼͌ẹ̶̡̧̄̎̈ ̶̪̜̇ô̸͓f̵̥̯̏͝͝ ̷̩͔̃̚͘ṯ̵͔̦̔́̊h̶̝̩̍̊ë̶̬̺́̀̅ ̷̩̆s̶͔̈t̶̻̟͗̒ơ̵͎̫̪̐̓r̶̅͗͌ͅỵ̶̃̈́͂ͅ.̸̦͌
"I know, don't worry, it's just a story" Cecilia replied gently caressing his face to calm him down.
"...Do you think I should talk to him?" He asked for an opinion of his girlfriend.
"Only if you really feel comfortable and ready to talk, you are within your rights to take the time you need" Cecilia replied giving her opinion on the matter "And if you wish, while we can play chess to have a little fun"
"Ha! Prepare mouse because I won't let you win" He said smugly accepting with pleasure to play a few rounds of chess with her, maybe once he finished playing he would call his brother or maybe he would let Farena call him first.

Can I kiss Aepper? Haha joking since I'm faithful to someone🦁
Joking....... unless
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Aepper blinked, trying to figure out who Serenity was "faithful" to.
Then, the realization hit him. (Oh? You mean Leona?)
Aepper smirked, (I've heard he hasn't been around for so long, perhaps he's hibernating.)
Aepper leaned over closer to the raven haired girl's face, an enigmatic smile etched on his features.
(A kiss you say? While I'm very flattered to hear so, Leona might be a little grumpy afterwards.)
He sat back up, emerald and cream colored eyes flashed back at Serenity as he smiled.
(But I don't mind if you tried to capture mine first~)

I posted it a while ago on my Instagram and actually forgot to post it on Tumblr, oops
I read headcanons by @serenity-wonders about Leona with a childhood friend, and I just had to draw this scenario with flower bracelets! This whole post was cute and wholesome.
So here is the drawing, and I'm actually happy with it. I hope I didn't mess up the anatomy too much... But on the good news, I'm getting better at drawing Leona's hears.
Also, did this childhood friend now have a whole backstory? Yes. My imagination went wild.
I hope you all have an amazing day, wherever you are!

Howdy do~! I would like to request a headcannon in which the Dorm Leaders start to fall for a fem! s/o who is like a Disney princess: beautiful, sweet, gentle and loving. Super fluff, please! Thanks!
(Hey hey! Welcome in! For the sake of readability for my fellow Readers like yourself, I shall be making this a gender neutral S/O, just with the Disney Princess traits. Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoy!💕✨)
Twisted Wonderland: Dorm Leaders X GN!Sweet!MC!Reader

🌹Riddle Rosehearts🌹
Tumblr media
Your sweet, almost royal-like behavior was one of the first things that drew Riddle to you
You were kind, gentle, animals had an odd habit of trying to follow you around- and most importantly, you knew how to listen and listen well when needed
Whenever the ADeuce duo or Grim started to get out of line, your gentle manner of attempting to handle them...well, it helped Riddle to not shout "OFF WITH YOUR HEAD" every few seconds, at least. It curbed it a bit.
Tea parties with you are the times he treasures the most
You fit in perfectly with the serene atmosphere, the sweet, floral scent of various teas seeming to radiate off of you
The sun always had a habit of peering through the trees and making your skin glow in an angelic manner...
He would sometimes find himself staring- until you would make a remark, that is.
That usually snaps him back to normalcy, the faintest tints of blush painting his cheeks a rosy red
The hedgehogs and flamingos loved you as well! So, that always also brought him a sense of peace.
"My rose....hmm? Why am I staring- I wa-wasn't staring! F-finish your strawberry tart, dear. After all, the Laws of the Queen Of Hearts clearly states that all tarts must be consumed at-"

Honestly? He both hates it and loves it at the same time.
He only loves it when you're giving him the attention he deserves. Just don't overdo it, herbivore. The sugary sweetness routine just...makes him want to gag sometimes
Other than that? Seeing you be so sickly sweet and kind to everyone...drives him up a wall and a half
Especially once animals start trying to follow behind you into Savanaclaw
This prompts loud, almost lion-like roars right down to the core to get them to go away
However, you do tend to have an...odd strength behind it in your own way. Will he say this? Probably not, unless it's sarcastic.
Dote on him, love him, but don't try and suffocate him.
And for the love of the King of the Beasts- do not speak to him in that high pitched tone like he's a child.
Has a bad habit of suddenly just yanking you and hauling you over his shoulder when he sees you being too sweet to other people. Like, on the spot
Probably has attempted to eat one of the birds that follows you (don't ask-)
Naps are definitely more tranquil, however- you aren't loud and annoying like most others
"Uggghhh....herbivore, if you sing one more song like that, I'm going to be sick. Eh? No, I don't like "It's A Small World After All". Don't even think about it. Just get over here in my arms, why don't you?"

Oh, honey. Sweetie. Angelfish. R u n.
He capitalizes the ever living crap out of this
Oh, what's that? A certain complaining soul who fell short on a contract is whining in his office? A vying customer simply needs a little push to be fully swept under his tentacles? Guess who is being called in with their sweet smile and charming face!
Yep, it's yoooouuuuu~!
It's a win-win situation for Azul all the way around- he gets one of the sweetest students ever doting on him 24/7, and he gets to watch the others wriggle and writhe like worms on a hook!
He'll be as sickly sweet to you as you are to him. After all, a relationship is an equal exchange of affection, is it not?
Most likely post Overblot, he'll be somewhat willing to cuddle with you in a certain form...but only if he gets you all to himself for the duration of that day
"Angelfish~! Come to me, darling. How was your day, hmm? Well, it certainly shall improve since you are back with me, my little minnow. Right this way, let us have some alone time~"

Poor Jamil. Poor, poor Jamil.
It's like a match made in heaven- a fluffy, soft cloud and the bright, happy sun
You and Kalim basically do everything together. No- like, literally mean everything.
Magic carpet dates, dance party dates, dinner dates, lunch dates-
Honestly? It can get suffocating. A lot of the time.
However, you both tend to balance each other out in the slightest of ways (and Jamil's help-)
PDA is going to be extremely common here
Guys around Night Raven College have a habit of seeing you two be all...lovey dovey to each other and gag. On the spot
Kalim showers you in presents, compliments- the works.
And he always has a blast playing around with the little animals that follow you
Light Music Club is....very musical-esque with you two in the same room
Kalim is also the type to suddenly just- appear out of nowhere and pepper your face in kisses
"Jeeeewweeeelllll! Ahaha! There you are! How did your class go? Did you do anything fun? Ooo, ooo, I got those tickets to that show you wanted to see! Let's go take a walk, you wanna get something to eat?"
🪞Vil Schoenheit🪞
Tumblr media
Oh, he's totally a combination of Leona and Azul-
Sometimes, your demeanor just....reminds him of Neige. And that makes him want to run to the nearest trashcan, quickly tie his hair back, and- uhh, release some...stomach things inside of it.
Most of the time, however? He's dressing you up in the finest of clothing, putting makeup on you and having you walk arm and arm with him wherever you possibly can
He is striving to be the fairest one of all, so why should his S.O. be any different or less?
Definitely the type to hound you about how you're doing to ensure that you are performing at your top
If something is wrong? Either he or Rook are the first to notice, and he's already hauling yourself and himself away to whatever will release that energy for the both of you (if his schedule allows it)
Vil actually likes your little animal friends- as long as they aren't getting any of their...droppings anywhere near himself or you
LOTS of photo shoots happen between you two once the relationship goes public
Unfortunately, this also draws a lot of heat onto you...you are dating the Vil Schoenheit, after all
However, he is usually right there and handling any immature fans' behaviors with the grace and maturity of the Beautiful Queen herself
"Ah, sweet potato...there you are. You look well rested. I can tell that you took my advice the other night. Come along, we have someplace to go- hm? Ah, not a shoot, this time. Just a little space I reserved for the two of us. Let us not dawdle, now."
💀Idia Shroud💀

Hello? Helllllooooo?? Is he in some sort of...anime? Does that make him the protagonist? Because you're basically- like, the perfect S.O. that would be the hero's other in a video game or something
No, seriously, is this a simulation? Is he in an otome game???
Honestly, he still has trouble believing you want to date him, sometimes.
Animals have to stay outside. Unless it's a cat, cats are chill and won't possibly get in the way of him while he's reading a manga or gaming-
Definitely has made an OC based off you, probably with a flower aesthetic of some sort
He practically melts whenever you hum so softly or so sweetly....and just for him? It's crazy! What are you on???
It takes him a long time to get used to you and your doting nature- he wonders what you could get out of it for a while
Expect him to buy you little anime figurines or plushies that reminded him of you
And he may or may not brag about you to his gaming buddies all the time about how sweet you are to him-
"H-hai, skullie....c'mon, I was just about to set up your little gaming corner with that pet game you like so much....e-eh?!? W-will I...cuddle and watch with you- u-uh-! Y-yeah...okay...."
🐉Malleus Draconia🐉
Tumblr media
It's like he's living in a dream
Someone who treats him...not like a monster? Not like someone they need to surpass?
He was already drawn to you once he saw you walking around Ramshackle that one day- and then you invited him to something...and now you want to date him?
No one really saw this part but Lilia, but he may or may not have actually teared up about the whole thing
Your kindness touches him in ways he couldn't imagine. Even your little animal friends like him! They aren't scared
Malleus always dons the softest smile whenever a little bluebird in particular will settle itself in-between his horns whilst he speaks to you
Late night walks with you are the best. The moonlight shines across your already beautiful features and highlights them
He likes holding your hand and rubbing circles over your knuckles, sometimes growing just a bit tighter (almost like he's scared you'll disappear if he doesn't-)
Sebek, Silver, and Lilia wind up forming a "protection" group for you and their Malleus-Sama (Sebek internally cries everytime he sees Malleus kiss your cheek-)
"My firefly...Child Of Man...hmm? Why am I...staring at you? Ah. Am I not allowed to stare into the beautiful eyes of my beloved? Heheh~ I thought as much. Thank you....thank you for....loving me against all odds."
