just my personal thoughts on the remainder of crystallized:

in the splinter in the blind man’s eye, lloyd mentions that his powers have felt more aggressive lately and that he’s worried that his judgement is worse. it’s been said that some of the things that happen in that story apparently lead to events in crystallized (i.e clancee tells lloyd about window cleaning and lloyd is seen as a window cleaner in the new season).

for the last two seasons, individual ninjas have been unlocking their own special powers; cole with his elemental burst; nya with her fusion with the ocean, and for this season i think lloyd will tap into his oni powers and that that will be his big personal ability for this season. this is already obvious by what we’ve seen of the new lego sets, but i think it’s further solidified by this aggressiveness that he’s noticed with his powers.

this also might not be relevant but it was said on twitter that vengestone most likely wouldn’t hinder an oni’s power, and we know that lloyd is currently trapped in a vengestone cage 🤷‍♀️ maybe the best way to escape or to fight in those caves is with a power that isn’t his energy abilities

I am thoroughly convinced that none of the people who hate Tommy watched Hen begins- Like he's never hostile toward her, he just seems to keep his head down and go along with the captain (which makes a lot of sense with him being gay), but he never actually does or says anything to her. And after she saves the kid against orders he compliments her and shakes her hand with a smile-

So Atsumu Miya has a loud, boisterous, kinda clingy personality and he's also kinda full of himself so he comes across as a jerk sometimes. But he's spent his entire life being compared to his calmer, more mature twin. But despite that he still wants his twin around always. So when Osamu (his twin) tells him he's not gonna play volleyball after high school despite his promise to play by his side forever, Atsumu is crushed and angry.

Enter Kiyoomi Sakusa (nicknamed Omi-Omi by Atsumu). He's germaphobic and hates people and crowds and well- everything and comes across as stand-offish and rude to just about everyone (seriously his only real friend in high school was his cousin lol).

They technically meet at a training camp for the best high school athletes when they're 16, but they don't interact much until Sakusa finishes college and joins MSBY (a professional volleyball team, also know as the team Atsumu has played on since he graduated high school). Atsumu loves getting on Sakusa's nerves and dragging him into stuff and they kinda hate each other at first. But Sakusa never compares Atsumu to his twin, and Atsumu slowly draws Sakusa out of his shell.

They're relationship will always be filled with snarky remarks and petty little fights, but they both know there's no one they'd rather have put up with their shit in the end. They love each other dearly, even if neither likes to admit it.

Also unlike Osamu, Sakusa really does play with him for as long as he possibly can- from the MSBY team to the Japan National team in the Olympics

Im debating whether to give up art and focus on my molecular biology engineering degree or giving up on molecular biology engineering degree to focus on art

doing both is mentally and physically exhausting im living off 2-4 hours of sleep everyday istg (sometimes just 1 hour lol)

but im still alive and all my organs are functioning so im alright 👍

Sakusa and Yachi being gay little pals in college is so precious to me

I feel like they’d both push each other (in healthy ways) to be less socially awkward

And they’d have little platonic study dates

It would be the first time Sakusa has a friendship he truly enjoys (aside from Komori)

And they’d stay friends after college! I’m a firm believer that Yachi was the one who sat on the phone while Sakusa had multiple breakdowns of “But his thighs-“ and “have you seen his hair, it looks so soft and fluffy now”

But it’s okay cause Sakusa also (happily although he’ll never admit it) deals with Yachi’s streams of keyboard spams and long gushes every time a pretty girl walks in

I just love them omg (if anyone wants me to do more headcanons, or write a short story, just ask👀)

Neither Arthur nor John know how to speak to their parents. Theyve never had to do the talking in the cons, never had to speak their points or have any training in how to speak to Dutch and Hosea and actually get their points across, and they never thought they would need to learn that skill.

Its so painfully obvious in the ways they both keeps yelling at Dutch, who gets more and more defensive and combative himself, who hasnt experienced this behaviour from his sons. To him theyre changing and to him, theyre doubting him despite everything hes done for them, their communication goes straight to hell the moment Hosea is gone to meditate and overrule concerns in euqal meassured.

I think a lot about Byron Davis saying that the gang wouldnt have fallen apart the way it did if Hosea and Lenny survived, and while I think most people wouldnt question the truth around Hosea, I find what he said about Lenny to be really interesting!

Because we get shown that Lenny, despite how young and new he is, is the only person in the gang who can TALK to Dutch in a way that makes him listen even when hes wrong.

The intellectual debate between the two characters show so much about the interactions between the two, and I cant think of another character that disagree so openly with Dutch but managed to calm his mercurial and flared temper, landing the conversation masterfully even after openly speaking against him. Lenny is GOOD at not only getting his views across, but properly explaining his point of view in a way neither John not Arthur ever knew was smart to learn.

Its why his death gets mentioned when pointing out what had to happen for it all to to go to hell. Not a single person in camp can communicate to save their life, even when they need to
