Did you know lemon peels are packed with vitamin C and entirely edible? 🙌🏻

Don’t throw them out! After you’ve peeled your lemons, store in the freezer, then when you’re ready, dehydrate them either in the sun, or on the lowest setting of your oven until they are hard to the touch. Blend them up and you have lemon peel powder (similar to lemon zest). You can add a tablespoon of that lemon peel powder to 1/2 cup of salt for lemon salt (or the same with pepper)! This adds a beautiful citrus note to things like pasta, stir fries and more. 🤔

*** I got my tongue pierced today, and the interaction I had with the piercer inspired this lil thing. (The sexy part and the "good boy girl" part both happened to me, however I left due to being extremely flustered as soon as the transaction finished)

piercer!Eddie and client!Steve when Steve goes in to Eddie's shop to get his tongue pierced Eddie has him rinse his mouth out with listerine before getting started and everything is fine and normal.

Steve smirks slightly and then flatly says "thank you." from that moment on things are quiet between the two of them until Eddie has finished the piercing and wipes the drool off Steve's face and says a simple "good boy," before standing and finishing the transaction.

only then does Eddie realize what he's done, turning around to apologize only to find Steve half hard in his jeans.

things aren't quiet for much longer, although there still isn't much talking, save for the "ah, ah, pretty boy. no oral for at least two weeks while your piercing heals. luckily for us, my mouth is free. and so are your hands."

Lemon and Mint Creamed Cucumbers

A fragrant and refreshing Summer Salad, these Lemon and Mint Creamed Cucumbers can be eaten on their own, as a side to ss with toasts, or as a side to grilled meat!

Ingredients (serves 2):

1 large Green Onion

half a dozen large leaves fresh mint

half a large lemon

a pinch of salt and freshly cracked black pepper

1 1/2 tablespoons canola oil

2 heaped tablespoons sour cream or crème fraîche

half a large cucumber, rinsed

Finely chop Green Onion, and add to serving bowl, saving a bit of its green part for garnish.

Roll mint leaves together, and chop finely. Add chopped mint to the bowl.

Grate in about two teaspoons lemon zest. Season with salt and black pepper.

Stir in canola oil, mixing well.

Then, add sour cream, and give a good stir.

Finally, thoroughly squeeze in the juice of the lemon halve, stirring until well-combined.

Cut cucumber into thin slices. Add cucumber slices to the bowl, tossing well to coat generously.

Place in the refrigerator, to chill, at least one hour.

Serve Lemon and Mint Creamed Cucumbers cold, sprinkled with reserved chopped green part of the Green Onion.

February/March 2024 Update: Extended Hiatus

Hey guys!

So, ASD’s hiatus might be a bit longer than I expected…

You see, I think my life is starting to take a bit more of a different direction than it originally did, with the main reason is me considering making my first Visual Novel (which is based on a canon series that I know). So of course, it's going to require a lot of practice, watching tutorial videos, time, effort, and dedication. However, I am uncertain about the exact amount of time it will take. While I would like to believe that I can manage both a VN and ASD simultaneously, the truth is that it won't be easy. Therefore, I have decided to focus solely on my visual novel project as it would be more manageable for me.

I hate to make this decision, but as I’ve said countless times before (sorry 😅), the truth is that ASD is based on a story that has ended long ago. Although I don't want to let go of ASD yet, I want to focus on developing this new Visual Novel, in which I plan to work on alone also as an indie developer. This project may take a few months to a year, or even longer. Therefore, I must be honest and say that I don't know exactly when I'll be back (or if I am coming back). I want to come back, but it will take longer than one month. So, I'm technically going on an indefinite hiatus, but I hope to return to ASD in the future.

You are still allowed to send asks, but this blog might be inactive for quite a while, or at least the story itself will take a break. Maybe I’ll come back within time to post some EQG & ASD-related art from time to time. Now, do I recommend that you unfollow me? No, I don’t. I mean, I wouldn’t want you to. However, it wouldn’t be right to hold you here either 😅 So the choice is solely yours.

If your still looking for some Sonata Dusk askblog content, I recommend @sunsets-serenade. It’s the only MLP/EQG blog that I know it’s still active at this point. So all in all, the Ask Sonata Dusk story is on a semi-indefitnite hiatus, but it might post from time to time for art. I’ll let you guys know when I’ll return to continue the story!

Thank you everyone for following Ask Sonata Dusk for all these years. I hope to return soon one day!
