I was wondering, can you think of any scenes in shows or movies where one character is being tortured or hurt while their friend or another character is forced to watch and isn't able to help them? Something like season 1, episode 12 of the Following when Mike gets kidnapped and Ryan tries to help him through the glass. I enjoy this trope because of the comfort and aftercare afterwards!

they really opened with mick being the responsible one & i'm here for it (also that breakfast he was having - fancy)

AVA REALLY ASKED WHY NO ONE TUCKED HER IN - this smol (but toll) lesbean immediately wanted to know where her girlfriend was - let's all be real honest... we were all ava @ john x zari

astra REALLY said "these mortals are fuckin stoopid" - which we are

behrad. my son. let him wear his crazy shirts & get high. it's all he wants (let him suck nate's dick too plz)

SARA LANCE WAS GOING TO PROPOSE TO AVA SHARPE & I'M NOT OKAY ABOUT IT - but also that ring was fugly & not them so it's now canon sara bought it just to see how long ava would wear it before being like "babe... i hate it"

gary being an alien honestly makes the most sense. but also does this make constantine an alien fucker? or fondler? cuz they did something

ava sharpe seeing all the mayhem at the end & being like "that's my girl" vs when they first met & being like "SARA LANCE IS THE WORST" - i'm emotional. stop it

a few things going into this season that i'm HOPING for are -

nate becoming his own character without a romantic interest. UNLESS his storyline is him realizing he's bisexual & that leads to him getting with a guy but i doubt that is gonna happen - cuz it's theCW

with supergirl ending i would love it if Nia came onto the show. she would really fit right into the gang - but at the same time the cast is ALREADY so fucking large

there are a few more but the are a lot lesser on my wants list Katie Cassidy & Paul Blackthorne guest star to meet Ava Katrina Law would also be neat

Things I can't get over:

-Ava shutting herself off completely so she can make a plan to get Sara back, and finally crumbling when she has to tell Spooner, out loud, that the love of her life was going to ask her to marry her and now she's gone.

-The one tear on Sara's face and the way she leans forward when Ava's face disappears from inside the pod because in that moment she was cold and weak and probably wanted nothing more than to reach out and go to Ava's arms.

-In general, just the amount of warm, safe, beautiful love between them that we felt this episode amongst the bucketloads of angst. Their relationship just seems so secure and healthy.

-Just the thought of the absolute raw, clinging hug we hopefully get when they're finally together again after all this.

-Ava Sharpe's goddamn reaction to just seeing Sara on video looking happy and having a good time. Look at her. She loves her so much.

Anyways I feel like some of them do know about aliens. I mean Nate’s never a big part of the crossovers but Sara and Mick have been a part of the show since the beginning, and several of their crossovers have included aliens. I guess Sara’s the best candidate, since when there are crossovers she’s usually one of the only ones crossing over. I know there was at least one, with those big ugly aliens that put everyone in the happiest versions of their lives, but I can’t remember if Mick was a part of that or not.
