A Baton and a Magic Wand
Summary: How does pranking Heizou become a tickle chase? Aether finds the answer.
A/N: I’m back with a fic with my favorite boys! Nothing much to say other than, enjoy :)
Word Count: 2284
Bonus Word Count: 494
—
All was peaceful in Aether's abode in a teapot, but the same can't be said for Aether himself. He was feeling quite mischievous and wanted to push his partners’ buttons and conveniently, Heizou was his victim. His plan was simple. Replace Heizou’s baton with one of Lyney's magic wands and have it explode in an assortment of Rainbow Roses. Easy.
“AETHERRRRR! COME BACK HERE!”
Or so he thought.
“H-Heizou! Stop chahasing mehehe! I wasn’t dohoing anything!”
“YOU WERE HOLDING MY BATON WHEN I WOKE UP AND RAN AWAY WITH IT! YOU EVEN HAVE ONE OF LYNEY'S MAGIC WANDS!”
“I was juhust busy cleaning! Yeah, cleaning!”
“Yeah, like I buy that along with your giggling. Come back here and explain yourself or experience my wrath!”
Aether looked back only to find that Heizou wasn't chasing him anymore. He gulped and continued running, clutching the baton and wand closely.
“Come back here, Ae~!” Heizou's voice echoed throughout the house, shooting shivers down Aether’s spine.
“You won't catch me!” He shouted back slamming a door closed to throw him off and then rushing into a bedroom.
Only to be captured by Gaming in a bear hug, dropping the baton and wand.
“Gammph!?” He said, his voice muffled against his captor’s chest.
"Sooo, what troubles were you up to?" Gaming asked as he closed the door softly and hoisted him up, bringing him to the bed.
"Nohohothing!" Aether giggled out as struggled against him.
"For someone so giggly I think you are guilty of some trouble, no?" Gaming remarked, swiping a finger along his side.
"GAHAHAHA! No! Nohoho! I-I dihidn't doho anything!"
"Are you sureee?" Gaming lifted Aether's arms over his head and trapped them beneath his own knees as he towered over him with a smirk. He hovered his hands over him and wiggled his fingers.
"Ihihihihi swehehehear! Hohohonest!" Aether squirmed as he was forced to look up at Gaming and that teasing smirk while he gave his own innocent smile to avoid the inevitable.
"I don't believe you~"
The door suddenly opened and Heizou entered.
"I heard some giggling. Is Aether-" Heizou started, his expression morphing from surprise into a predatory smirk. "Ah. Thank you for doing the prep work, Gam."
Aether froze at the sound of Heizou's voice before his squirming began anew. This time with more urgency as he frantically giggled as he watched Heizou get closer.
"Gaming Gaming Gahahahamihihing! Dohohon't lehehehet hihihim gehehet clohohoser! Lehehet mehehehe gohohoho! Pleahehese!" Aether gave Gaming the cutest puppy look he can give, making him about to give in before Heizou's voice cut through.
"Don't you dare, Gaming," Heizou threatened, turning his gaze towards him, making him gulp. "If you do, I'll make you suffer like Ae and you don't want that, do you~?"
Heizou stopped a few feet from the bed and looked at him as Aether stopped squirming, holding his breath. As the two looked at him, Gaming weighed his options. One. He can keep Aether trapped and work together with Heizou to give Aether the punishment he oh so deserves. Or two. Let Aether go and hope he will make it worth his while to be tickled by the unmerciful tickle monster that Heizou is.
One. Wreck Aether.
Two. Be wrecked with Aether.
“Let's go Ae! Hop to it, Man Chai!”
Gaming didn’t know why he went with option two. Maybe it was because of the giddy look on Aether’s face. Maybe he wanted to play around like he wished he could back then. Maybe… Maybe it was the chance to bond with Aether and his boys after Aether confessed to him. Whatever the reason was, he jumped off the bed and directed a defiant look at Heizou, carrying Aether with him as Man Chai bought them time to run out.
“No! Hehehey! Cuhuhut ihihihit out! I'll gehehehet youhuhu both! Hehehehahaha!”
As Heizou tried to get Man Chai off of him, Gaming ran down the hall still carrying Aether, who managed to pick up the baton and wand, while trying to look for a place to hide.
“You are pretty hard to say no to, you know that?” Gaming said, opening doors left and right.
Aether just grinned, making him roll his eyes.
“Where are you guys~?” A voice rang out, making Gaming curse under his breath.
“There doesn’t seem to be any good spots. Let’s just hide in the living room. You know what they say, hidden in plain sight.”
He let Aether down as he went to squeeze behind the couch.
“Hey!” Aether exclaimed, setting the baton and wand on the center table. “What about me?”
“You hide yourself behind the pillows on the couch,” Gaming said, like it was the most logical thing in the world. “Relax, you will blend in perfectly. Your furnishings are pretty much bright colors like you. Just don’t move too much.”
“...”
“Don’t give me that look! You can call this my revenge for you pulling me into your shenanigans.”
“You could have just worked with Heizou and tick- I mean you know,” Aether said, getting flustered just from saying the word.
“Umm,” Gaming’s face was heating up as he looked away from Aether.
Aether stared at him confused before it dawned on him.
“Did you actually want to be-” Aether wiggled his fingers, making Gaming swat at his hands.
“Stop that.”
“You can tease me, but you can’t handle your own teases?”
“You don’t need to rub it in. You’re the same!”
Footsteps echoed in the hall and they stared at each other in horror.
“Where are you guys~?” Heizou called out.
“Come on, just hide!” Gaming whisper yelled.
Aether sighed before he hid behind the couch pillows and covered himself with a blanket for good measure.
“Man Chai, you got anything?” an elegant voice chimed, shaking both Aether and Gaming to their core.
Is that Kazuha!?! Man Chai?
“You think they would hide in here?” Kazuha continued.
“Don’t underestimate Man Chai and my intuition.”
“There you go with your detective’s intuition.”
“It’s true though, that’s why I am the most successful detective of the Tenryou Commission.”
“But your intuition didn’t expect this.”
Kazuha tickled his exposed underarms and gave him a kiss.
“Kahahaz!” Heizou giggled, grabbing his arms and restraining them. “Don’t make me-”
“Ehehehehe! Mahahahan Chahahai! Nohohoho!”
Gaming’s laughter rang throughout the living room as he crawled out from behind the couch with Man Chai following close behind.
“Youhuhuhu lihihihitle rahahahascal!”
He didn’t realize where Man Chai was making him go until too late. He walked right into Heizou’s waiting arms.
“Behehetrahahayal! You betrayed me, Mahahahan Chahahai! No! Hei! AHahahahAHAHA!”
“Good work, Man Chai,” Kazuha praised, ruffling his fur.
“That’s one down. Now where is Ae, Gaming?~” Heizou held him tight as he led them toward the couch where Aether was on.
“Wait! Wahahahait! Nohohoho!” Gaming twisted and turned frantically trying to escape and buy Aether time.
“H-Hey! Stop Mo-ving! Kaz, a little help here?”
“Of course.”
Kazuha swept Gaming off his feet and they brought him on to the couch.
“Oof! We-we can talk about THIHIHIS! AHAHAHAHA!”
“Oh, we’ll definitely talk,” Heizou smirked, vibrating his fingers along Gaming’s ribs. “I’m going to ask you again. Tell us where Aether is.”
“I’m nohohot tehehelling youhuhuhu! AhahahahaHAHA!”
“Suit yourself,” he nodded towards Kazuha who slipped his hands behind Gaming’s knees. “We’ll find him. In the meantime, let’s have some fun, right Kazu?”
“Yeah, let us have some fun~”
Both gave him teasing looks before attacking.
“AHAHAHAHAHA! YOUHUHUHU WON’T GEHEHET ANYTHING OUHUHUT OF MEHEHEHE! NOHOHOHOHO! YOU GUHUHUYS!”
Gaming lunged toward Kazuha as he pinched the back of his knees before Heizou brought him back down with a skittering of his fingers along his neck, circling slowly around his mole to make him squirm.
“HeheHEHAHAHAAHA! HEHEHEHEIII! KAHAHAZUHUHUHU!”
“I can’t get enough of how cute you look laughing like this,” Heizou said, kissing him while wiggling his way to his armpits.
“MMPH! Mmhehe! Mmm-MHAHAHAHA!”
Gaming broke the kiss, panting for air as he laughed. He patted Heizou’s head for a breather, which he obliged and Kazuha slowed down to a lazy trace of his fingers along his stomach.
“I believe that is what you call dope, hmm?” Heizou grinned, wiggling his eyebrows.
“Oh my gohohod,” Gaming rolled his eyes and he threw a pillow at him, a happy smile painting his red face. “You both are the wohohohorst.”
Kazuha laughed at that as he walked towards Heizou.
“Kaz. What are you-?” Heizou started.
“I can’t let you have all the fun, Hei~” he answered, pecking him on the cheek. “Let’s switch. Oh, stop pouting. There’s still Ae to have fun with.”
For good measure, Kazuha fluttered his fingers against Heizou’s armpits.
“Okay! Okahahay! Fine.”
Heizou took his place as Kazuha did the same.
“For someone who is being tickled a lot, so we can get Ae’s location, you don’t seem to mind. Not even escaping since we haven’t tied you.” Kazuha remarked, before getting close to Gaming’s ears. “Is it that you want to be tickled-te~?” he teased, sending shivers down Gaming’s spine.
“That’s what youhuhuhu think?”
A wobbly grin made its way to his face as Kazu rested his fingers against his collarbones, thrumming them softly.
“Ihihihi ahahaham meheheherely prohohohotecting Aehehehe! N-Nohoho teheheasing!”
“Are you sure that’s the only reason?~” Kazuha eyed him with a teasing glint in his eyes.
“Yeah!” he squeaked out quickly. “I mean, yes. That is the only reason,” he said more slowly, trying to convince him.
“I don’t believe you~” Heizou chuckled, positioning his hands above his hips. “Come on, tell-”
“RAWR!”
Aether let out a battle cry as he tossed the blanket at Kazuha and kicked a pillow at Heizou, nailing him in the face.
“Oof!”
“Now that was dope.”
“Haha-Agh!”
Kazuha deflected the blanket with Anemo and got Aether tangled up, “Haha, right back at you, Ae~”
Gaming tried to get back at Heizou, but Kazuha managed to restrain him with one hand and bring down Aether with the other.
“Oh you are both in for it now~” Kazuha said, a devilish smirk on his face as he pulled the blanket off Aether’s head.
“You both will go down,” Heizou’s sinister voice made its way to their ears. A vengeful look and shit-eating grin were etched on his face and filled them with nervous anticipation.
“You have the audacity to not just steal my baton,” he started, curling a hand over Aether’s side. “Ehep!” “But to also kick a pillow in my face.”
“And you,” he turned towards Gaming who tried to squirm away, but Kazu held fast. “You call me being nailed in the face by a pillow dope?” he curled his other hand on his side. “Gaha!”
Heizou bent down towards their ears and whispered, “I will tickle and tickle and tickle you until I finish dishing out my revenge. Now, laugh~”
The tips of his fingers started to swirl with Anemo just like Wanderer causing Aether and Gaming to panic before the most ticklish sensations they ever experienced made them dissolve into screams of laughter.
“HAHAHAHAHA! HEHEHEHEIZOU! NAHAHAHA! AHAHAHAHAHA!”
“WHAHAT IHIHIHIS THIHIHIS?! AHAHAHAHAHA! IT TIHIHICKLES SOHOHO BAHAHAD!”
They laughed hysterically, yanking their arms to which Kazuha responded with whispered teases.
“Ticklish aren't we~? Tickle tickle tickle~”
“KAHAHAHAZ! DOHOHON'T DOHOHOHO THAHAHAT!”
“GAHAHAHA! LEHEHEHET US GOHOHOHO! EHEHAHAHA!”
Suddenly a soft sensation rubbed along their feet making them kick out.
“WHOHOHO IHIHIS THAHAHAT!? HAHAHAHA!”
“NOHOHOHO! AHAHAHAHAHA! NOHOHOT THEHEHERE!”
“Man Chai! Thanks for helping out,” Heizou grinned, blowing raspberries on their bellies.
Man Chai, who had been watching from the sidelines and decided to join in, excitedly rubbed his fur more against Aether and Gaming’s feet in response.
“AHAHAHAHA! PLEHEHEHEASE! NAHAHAHAHAHAHA! TOHOHOHOO MUHUHUHUCH!”
“BWAHAHAHA! YOHUHU GUHUHUHUYS! AHAHAHAHAHA! NOHOHO MOHOHOHORE!”
“You know what to do to make it stop~” Heizou smirked, kneading their hips.
“OKAY! OKAHAHAY! I'M SORRY! I'M SAHAHAHARY!”
“GAHAHAHA! IHIHIHI’M SOHOHOHORRY TOHOHOHOO! HAHAHAHA!”
“What for~?”
“AHAHAHA! T-TAHAHAHAKING YOUR BAHAHAHAHA! B-BATOHOHON!”
“IHIHIHIHI DOHOHON’T KNOHOHOHOW!”
Heizou clicked his tongue in dissatisfaction, increasing the intensity.
“Nope. Wrong answers. Try again,” Heizou dug into Gaming’s ribs, while switching to scribbling Aether's tummy. At the same time, Kazuha let up on restraining them and instead lazily traced their neck and nibbled their ears, while still whispering his teases. Man Chai happily zoomed from their feet to their shoulders and wherever he could reach.
“ALSOHOHOHO FOHOHOR KIHIHI- HEHEHEHEAHAHAHA! KICK-KICKIHIHING A PILLOHOHOW AHAHAT YOUR FAHAHACE! AHAHAHAHA! PLEHEHEASE STAHAHAP!”
“Good. And you, Gam?”
“HAHAHAHAHA! FOHOHOHOR SAHAHAHAYING PIHIHIHILLOW KIHIHIHICKING IHIHIS DOHOHOPE! EHAHAHA!”
“Good enough.”
Heizou stopped making Kazuha and Man Chai stop as well. The only sounds in the room were Aether and Gaming’s giggles as they recovered.
“Thahahank youhuhuhu.”
“Hehehehe. Hahahah~”
“Kaz, do you mind getting some water for us? They definitely need it and I think we are all getting sleepy,” Heizou yawned out, stroking his lovers’ hair.
“Haha, okay,” Kazuha gave his lovers kisses before leaving the room.
He went to get the glasses of water humming to the tunes of Aether and Gaming’s laughter and went to grab a couple blankets. When he came back, he was greeted with a sight that made him smile. Aether was asleep on Gaming’s chest, hugging him. Gaming was also asleep and had a hand tangled in Aether’s hair and the other dangling off the side of the couch, while Man Chai was resting in the crook of his neck. Heizou was asleep on a nearby couch with a soft smile on his face. Kazuha savored the moment before setting down the water on a table near the baton and wand that started it all. He covered his lovers in the blankets, giving each of them a kiss before lying next to Heizou and falling into a slumber like them.
Bonus:
“We are home!” Venti shouted as he, Xiao, Lyney, and Wanderer entered the house.
“How do you people shop this much?” Xiao grunted as he carried groceries inside with the help of Lyney. “Ae is going to go broke with how much we keep spending.”
“It’s Ven’s vault,” Wanderer blamed as he started to arrange the groceries on the kitchen counter. “Case in point,” he held up five wine bottles. “Why the fuck do we need more wine? Stop sneakily buying this!”
“Come on, loves. A man can’t have too much wine.”
“Not when we have another five or more in storage!” Wanderer said in exasperation. “Not to mention your apple cider.”
“Hey,” Lyney cut in, “Give him some slack, he didn’t buy as many apples this time compared to our last grocery run.
“Hmph! You guys just don’t appreciate the taste of fine wine and apples,” Venti pouted, walking off. “Kazu and Ae will agree with me.”
“Hey! Come help with the groceries! Ugh.” Xiao shook his head as he stored some stuff in the fridge. “Aether’s going to cook, right?”
Before anyone could respond, Venti rushed in with a grin on his face.
“Come! You have to check this out!”
“Venti, we are storing the groceries. Can you-”
“No! This can’t wait,” Venti started herding them to the living room.
“What is in the living room that is so-” Lyney started before falling silent like everyone else who, just like Kazuha before, stared in awe at their other lovers sleeping.
“So cute!” Venti was grinning from ear to ear. “And look,” He grabbed the wand from the table. “I am a magician like you, Lyney!”
“What?” Lyney said in confusion as to why his wand was on the table before looking in horror as Venti was waving it around. “Wait! Don’t shake it, Venti!”
The wand exploded a bunch of rainbow roses into Venti’s face and all around him. Venti stood there with a shocked expression on his face, while Xiao had a look of amusement and a small smirk crawling up his face. Lyney was trying to look concerned, but a small smile was tugging at his lips. Wanderer was snickering and doing his best to hold in his laughter.
“Serves you right, drunk bard,” Xiao said, breaking the silence.
“Xiao! You are so mean!” Venti whined, going after him with rainbow roses in hand.
“Don’t chase me!” Xiao whisper-yelled, going into the kitchen.
“Tsk. Let’s just do the cooking, while Xiao occupies Venti,” Wanderer huffed.
“How about the rainbow roses?” Lyney asked.
“Let Ven clean it,” he replied, walking into the kitchen. “He’s the one who made the mess. I can’t be bothered cleaning it. Besides, if he doesn’t, Ae will get him to do it no matter what.”
“You got a point,” Lyney said, following after him.
“When do I not?" he smirked. “Now come on and stop staring at our sleeping beauties. We got work to do.”
“Fine.”

TickleTober2023/Day 09 - Mirrors
Genshin Impact - Lyney x Aether
Tumblr media
Aether held the small mirror in his hands, looking down to peek at his own reflection while Lyney and Lynette decided something about how they should place everything on stage. He wasn’t sure why the twins asked for his help instead of Freminet’s, but the latter probably found a good excuse to avoid taking part in their rehearsal.
At that point, he wasn’t exactly sure why the twins would need his help, but it was not like he minded tagging along - especially if it meant being around the best magician in all Teyvat for a couple more minutes.
“Distracted by your image, traveler?” Lyney muttered close to his ear, making Aether almost drop the mirror as he jumped in his place, startled by the other’s presence all of the sudden. “I don’t judge , I could spend all day looking at you as well,” he added, moving his hands over the traveler’s arms and helping him hold the mirror, lifting it a bit so both of them could be reflected by it.
“You- sigh, you scared me, don’t sneak up on me like that, I could’ve hurt you,” Aether pouted, turning his eyes back to the mirror to see Lyney smiling behind him.
“Worrying about me?” He teased, looking down to the mirror in their hands and spotting a frown taking place in the traveler’s face, followed by his eyes rolling. The magician grinned, leaning his face a little closer to Aether’s. “Come on, I was just playing around… we can’t have you wasting your handsome smile like that, can we?”
Before Aether could understand the meaning of those words, Lyney dragged his hands across his arms, sneaking them under his arms and prodding at the sensitive spot. The traveler squealed in surprise, giggles began to pour out of his lips as his hands tightened the grip around the small mirror - which was now reflecting his wide smile.
“L-Lynehehey! AhAHAH, q-quihihit it!” He pleaded, pressing his elbows down against his sides as he felt the magician’s fingers poking and wiggling into his underarm and ribs.
Lyney grinned along, pulling Aether into a tight hug and resting his head on his shoulder. Getting a good glance over the mirror in the traveler’s hands, Lyney managed to see how much he was smiling. “Mhm, you look even prettier smiling like this and- oh, are you blushing, traveler?”
Pressing his eyes shut, Aether tried his best efforts to escape the ticklish embrace, but it was all with no avail. “Stohohop tahaAHAhalking!!”
Fearing he would drop the mirror that should be part of the twin’s performance at any moment, he attempted to get down to his knees, but only managed to be followed to the ground by Lyney, who was now digging into his exposed sides. “E-enohOHough! AhAHA, plehehease!”
The magician, however, didn’t seem to care much about his request, taking one of his hands to the middle of Aether’s stomach, circling his navel. “What? No way, traveler ~ Seeing you smile in person is a waaay better than looking at your reflection. You don’t expect me to lose such a sight, right?”
Aether blushed at Lyney’s flirts, groaning through his laughter since it was all he could do to protest against the cheesy comments. That damned magician, if he only wasn’t so charming…
Tumblr media
A/N: Sooo, this was actually planned to be a ler!Aether fic to go along with the rest, buuuut I couldn't resist of the idea of Lyney flirting with him along the way, so here we are. Hope you guys enjoyed it ~

l.. lee aether *has a fucking stroke*
i wanted this to turn out a bit better, but idk 😭
Aether laid comfortably in his bed, curled up in the white blanket that was definitely too big for the mattress itself. After staying up late in Liyue doing the simplest things people could have done themselves, he was tired out. But so tired that he slept all the way to lunch? Paimon wasn't so sure..
To be fair, Paimon had only woken up around an hour before.. but that doesn't count! She was used to Aether being her personal alarm clock. She had decided that he could sleep until she got some food for a late breakfast.. But when she came back into the room, he hadn't shifted in the slightest bit.
“Traveller!” She huffed, floating over just above his figure and shook his shoulder. “Come on, up!”
Aether groaned, swatting her hand away and pulling the covers over his head. “Ugh, stop..” His floating companion unfortunately didn't give up, but took a different approach. She sat on the side of the bed, tilting her head at him.
“Paimon’s disappointed! But.. there's no other choice. Paimon’s gonna do the unthinkable!” She exclaimed, standing up on the bed proudly before screeching out her next words;
“XIAAAOOOO!!!!!–”
“Shut up, shut up!” Aether gasped, jolting awake and slapping a hand over the other's mouth. “Paimon! He's probably busy!”
“It got you up though~” She teased after Aether removed his hand, smirking smugly. “Well.. lucky, I don’t think Xiao heard Paimon anyways.”
“..Huh. I guess so. ..well, in that case–” The blonde flopped back onto the pillows, turning away from the now floating Paimon. “Hey!! Traveller! Get up, or Paimon’s gonna-”
“You called..?”
She gasped dramatically, her whole body jolting around in a panic. When she realised who it was, she sighed in relief. “Xiao! You always pop up so randomly, you know that?”
“But.. you're the one who called my name. I don't see how that's very ‘random’, Paimon..” He replied, his arms crossing over his chest in the familiar stance.
“Whatever! Just- help Paimon already! The traveller’s being lazy again!” She whined, tapping where Aether’s shoulder would be under the blanket. “He was awake just a few moments ago, Paimon doesn’t know how he does it.”
Xiao took a few steps over, peering over at the other’s sleeping state. “..Why don’t you just do it?” He asked softly, gently taking ahold of the blanket and dragging it down just so Aether’s face was visible.
“Oh believe me, Paimon’s tried.” She sighed softly, shaking her head. “Well.. This is your problem now. Tell him that Paimon’s in Mondstadt! Bye Xiaaoo~”
Before he could object, Paimon had disappeared into the hall and out the teapot. He huffed quietly, sitting on the edge of the mattress with his legs crossed. He stared for a few seconds, before gently nudging his arm. “Traveller.”
With no response, he repeated the motion. “It's late..”
“..I saw you last night, you know.” Be began, after realising that small movements weren’t doing anything. “Running around for people you don't even know. It's.. admirable, I suppose. But you shouldn’t be doing it. If mortals like yourself don't take the breaks they require, things like this happen.”
He perked up at the small breath the other huffed out, rubbing his eyes with the back of his knuckles. “..I know..” He mumbled, a soft giggle leaving his lips. “You're so poetic without realising it.”
“A-Ah.. I have little knowledge, nor talent for poetry.” Xiao spoke, his hands moving absentmindedly to sit in his own lap.
“Uhuh..” Aether mumbled in response, yawning softly before stretching his arms up. “..Hey, what are you doing here? Did- ohh..”
Seemingly just processing the events that happened, his eyes fluttered open to look up at the adeptus. “Sorry that Paimon called you. I didn’t.. I guess I was being slightly stubborn.”
The claim made Xiao huff a chuckle out, shrugging. “It's fine, I wasn’t particularly busy.”
“That's good..” He whispered, moving to lay on his back. He let out a few sleepy noises, his eyes drooping back shut. He should be getting him awake and out of bed.. but..
“Half an hour, okay?” The adeptus sighed, softening slightly at the pleased sound the other expressed.
And soon that half hour passed, causing Xiao to enter back into the warm room. He was slightly tempted to explore the house Aether resided in, but decided against it after some thought. Instead, he spent the time taking a look around the nature of the realm.
“Aether.” He called quietly, leaning on the door frame before fully welcoming himself in. “Come on, up.”
“Ugh, no..” He whined, turning around to face away from the other figure. “Later.”
“It’s almost two in the afternoon, and figuring Paimon’s been out for a bit..” he trailed off, returning to his previous position on the mattress. “What I'm trying to say is.. would you rather wake up to me or a screaming Paimon?
“..Good point.” Aether mumbled, “But I really, really don't want to.”
“Just come on. It's not the end of Teyvat y'know.” He replied, nudging the traveller somewhere on his torso, it was hard to tell under the blanket.
To Xiao’s surprise, he felt the other jolt away from his hand huff. “Mmph, dohont.. come onn, im tired~..”
“..Are you hurt?” He asked, gently moving the blanket to his upper thighs and poking around the area he had before. Considering the crop top, it didn't provide a lot of protection.
“hah.. noho, Xiao-” Aether giggled, shifting his position on the bed. “stop it..”
“You don't seem hurt.. you're laughing, after all.” Xiao thought out loud, tilting his head to the side. “Are you just pretending?”
“Xiao, it tickles.” Aether finally whispered, his knees curling in at the thought of it. “..Oh.” The adeptus said with a now understanding tone. “Good.”
“Good?” Aether repeated with a playful scoff, “How is that good?”
“Good because you're not in pain, like I previously expected.” He corrected himself. “Now.. Up. You have your daily commissions, don't you?”
The traveller groaned, crossing his arms over his face to block the sunlight from his eyes. “ugh, don't remind me..”
“Aether.” Xiao repeated sternly, “Last chance until I have to get you up myself. It’s too late to call this just ‘sleeping in’.”
“Boooo,” He mumbled, “Do your worst..”
Aether didn't really expect Xiao to do what he did.. After all, he didn't really have a great understanding of it, he forgot what it was just a few moments ago!
..So which is why he was surprised when he felt cold fingertips skitter up his side.
He yelped, his arms immediately shooting down and reaching for the attacker's hand. Of course, he was too sleepy to remember that Xiao was a literal adepti, and stopping his hand from reaching his own was probably the easiest thing in the world. “Xiahahao-” He whined, kicking his legs out from their previously curled position. “Cohome ohon!”
“If you just sat up, you could prevent this.” Xiao mumbled, pressing the said fingers into his lower tummy. The movement resulted in a loud yelp, rapid giggles flowing from the other’s throat.
“Yohou could prevehent this too! ju- jehesus chrihist!” He gasped, his hands still on a futile attempt to push the other’s away.
“Jesus who?” He asked, a confused look on his face. “You must be delirious..”
“Ahahm nohot!” He claimed, pushing his back into the mattress like that would do anything to ease the sensations. “if ihi am, ihits yohour fahault!”
“Hm. If you say so.” Xiao shrugged it off, seemingly careless. He began to move his hand down the side of his torso, latching onto his hip and squeezing softly. “Is this convincing you?”
“Ihits nohot!” Aether exclaimed, “Ihits- ihits making… yohou..- ugh, yohour impohossible!”
“I'm impossible?” He asked sarcastically, “Well, I'm not the one who overworked himself all night.. Honestly, Traveller.. I wish to know your thought process when you decided that was a good idea.”
“Cahan yohou shuhut uhuhup?!” He bucked slightly into the other’s hand, a small gasp leaving his lips before another round of giggles.
“Can you get up?” Xiao repeated, feeling an unusual amount of playfulness in the moment. Unusual.. but, welcomed. Especially when it turned the oh-so powerful Traveller into mush.
“Buhut I dohont wahant too!” He repeated himself, his head leaning back into the pillow, digging his heels into the bed. Xiao looked up, catching a glimpse of Aether’s face.
His fingers slowed to a stop as he stared at him, taking in his expression. “Hah.. x-xiao? What's wrong?” He asked in a giggly tone, his arms moving to cross over his tingling torso.
“..Nothing.” Xiao mumbled, blinking his gaze away from his face. “Your blushing~” He smiled smugly, tilting his head down. “What happe- xihihao!”
“You seem to have forgotten your current position, Aether.” He chuckled softly, letting his hand squeeze up from his lip to his stomach.
“Have you had enough yet? I trust you’ll get up eventually.” He mumbled, using his nails to scribble just above his navel.
“Ihi wihill, ihi wihill!” He whined, small breathy giggles leaving his lips at the aftermath of Xiao stilling his fingers.
“..In a second.” He finished his sentence, feeling a genuine laugh escaping him at the look Xiao gave him.
Without a second thought, The fingertips travelled up his ribcage and gently scritched in between the bones.
"You- ugh.."
“I was kidding-!”

heartbeat
(aether/xiao)
summary: aether has a date planned. it doesn't go as expected.
a/n: based on this prompt!! not sure how i feel about this one but i was craving xiaother
[this is a sfw tickle fic!!]
・・・・・・・・・・・・・・
Aether’s never been on a proper date before. Honestly, he’s never even had a partner before, or…whatever he and Xiao are. He thinks it’s normal to be nervous, but he doesn’t want to be. He knows Xiao. It’s not like this is a first meeting or anything, right? Just a normal dinner together. With romantic feelings attached.
After kicking Paimon out and leaving her for Itto to babysit (which really just means Shinobu is babysitting them both), he began cooking. He spent the entire day before stressing over the decorations in his teapot home, wondering whether Xiao would like them, and while he’s still uncertain, there’s not much more he can do. He prepares practically an entire feast — grilled tiger fish, Adeptus’ Temptation, jade parcels, stir fry, and of course he tries his hand at almond tofu — anything he can think of that Xiao might like. So, maybe it’s a bit of an overkill, but at least Paimon will eat all the leftovers.
Xiao arrives at their planned meeting spot exactly on time, not a second early, not a second late. Aether perks up as soon as the familiar dark mist appears in front of him.
“You’re here!” he exclaims, jumping to his feet.
“Did you think I wouldn’t be?” asks Xiao, quirking an eyebrow.
Aether invites him into his teapot, where the sun sets over a table for two, surrounded by a variety of trees and flowers. He’s lit candles around the area, giving it a welcoming ambience.
“Oh, unless you’d rather be inside!” Aether quickly adds, gestures towards the mansion.
He thinks he sees a tiny smile appear on Xiao’s face. “This is fine.”
…So.
Ugh, Aether should have practiced for this.
They eat without saying much, aside from Xiao thanking him for the food with the occasional compliment, in his own Xiao-like way. It's somehow not overwhelmingly awkward — which isn't to say it's not awkward, but it's tolerable.
As he finishes his food, Aether's mind starts to wander. He hasn't planned anything aside from this. Will Xiao leave right away? Will he stay to talk? Probably not, he's not exactly social, but Aether can't think of anything to say and he absolutely can not have them sitting in complete silence for the rest of the night.
There's a squeeze on his knee and he yelps, kicking his leg out and accidentally banging it on the underside of the table. He looks up, embarrassed.
Xiao keeps his hand where it is. “Stop doing that,” he says, nodding at Aether's leg. It's only then that Aether notices just how violently he's been bouncing it.
“O-oh,” he stammers, nodding. “Sorry.”
He expects that to be the end of it, but Xiao gives him a curious look. He doesn't have time to question what it means before he feels another squeeze. His reaction this time isn't as dramatic, but it's still noticeable; he makes a surprised sound, his leg jerking once more.
“What’s wrong?” asks Xiao, leaning in close, which makes Aether squeak and nearly fall off his chair. “You aren’t injured, are you?”
Aether shakes his head frantically. “N-no, not that, it’s just ticklish! Nothing bad, you don’t have to—ack?!”
“I’m familiar with the term, I believe,” says Xiao, looking down at his hand, which has just squeezed again. “It’s something humans do with those they’re fond of, yes?”
“Um.” Aether can’t do much but stare at him, cheeks growing hotter by the second. He thinks he knows where this is going. Finally, he nods. “Y-yes, that’s right.”
“Then, traveler,” Xiao looks up, locking eyes with him, “why don’t we do it?”
Well, Aether has a hard time saying no to that face.
They end up inside the mansion, in the farthest room from the entrance. No one else is around, but Xiao locks the door behind them anyway. Aether almost feels trapped, but he doesn’t hate it.
“So,” Xiao starts, once he’s straddling Aether’s waist on the bed. “I simply…squeeze?” He accompanies his words with a pinch to Aether’s side.
The blond flinches. “W-well, it’s hard to explain…certain spots are more sensitive to certain methods.” He feels uncomfortable and embarrassed explaining tickling of all things, but Xiao listens intently and nods.
“I see,” he says. “Such as what?”
“Um, well,” Aether starts, shifting a little. “Like this?” He reaches out and places a hand on Xiao’s side, skittering his fingers up to his ribs.
Xiao stiffens, eyes widening slightly. “Right,” he says, his voice a little shaky.
“Or like this.” Aether starts to poke his fingers in the spaces between ribs, but his wrist is pulled away.
“I understand,” Xiao insists, cheeks flushed a little. Aether can’t help but laugh at the sight of someone so composed in such a state.
Xiao, to be frank, isn’t great at tickling. He’s inexperienced and hesitant, but Aether is ticklish enough to make up for it.
“If you’re so ticklish, why do you leave your stomach exposed?” Xiao asks, tracing his fingers along the bare skin. He’s getting better as he goes, seemingly fuelled by Aether’s reactions.
“I-it’s nohohot like I’m ahasking for ihihit!” Aether protests, trying his hardest to keep his hands out of the way. Xiao hasn’t restrained them, but he doesn’t want to make it stop just yet. Maybe he’s having a little bit of fun. Sue him.
“You clearly enjoy it, at least.” Xiao isn’t looking at Aether’s face, more focused on what his hands are doing. “You’re letting me do this.”
“Th-thahahat—Xiahahahao!” Aether squeals as a finger pokes his navel experimentally, before going back to dancing along his tummy. “Thahat’s because ihihit’s yohou!” He feels himself blushing as he admits it. He’s glad that at least Xiao doesn’t have much shame.
“I think it’s…rather cute,” Xiao admits. “I enjoy hearing you laugh.”
Aether makes an embarrassed whining sound. “L-lehehet me tickle yohou next tihihime! It’s ohonly fahair!” He's not sure what it is — a threat? A challenge? Either way, he plans to tickle Xiao one way or another, no matter how much the adeptus insists that he's not ticklish.
He can't worry about it now, though, because Xiao has just figured out that light touches work wonders, and it's absolutely awful. With anyone else, it's torture — but with Xiao, somehow, it feels like love.

"It's just an artifact..."
Tumblr media
A/N: kyaaaa~! I've been wanting to write this ever since I first laid eyes upon this beautiful piece by @chibimochii!! I really hope you like it ehehe
Summary: Aether wants to give Wanderer the new artifact he got for him, but Wanderer's a little hesitant to accept his gift...
Characters: switches Aether and Wanderer (but mostly lee!Wanderer)
“Wanderer~! Look what I got for you!” Aether shouted excitedly.
“Huh? You got something for—GAH! Don’t wave that around me!”
“What? It’s just an artifact. Does it make you nervous or something? I’m sorry, but are you giggling? What are you thinking, huh?”
“Ahehe—SHUT. IT.”
“Don’t be rude! I went all the way to the desert to get this for you and this is how you repay me? C’mere, you little—!”
And with that, Aether tackled the poor anemo boy to the ground.
“W-w-wahAIT! Aether, Aether nohOHOHO! P-PLEHEHEHEASE!!”
“Begging already, are we?” Aether smirked, tickling Wanderer’s ear with the feather.
Wanderer thrashed about beneath Aether, but to no avail. He could not escape his ticklish torment! Why did Beelzebul have to make him so damn sensitive?
“Hehe, is someone feeling extra sensitive today?” Aether teased, fluttering the feather on the sides of his neck now.
“N-n-noHOHO!? Whahat, whahahat makes you think thaHAHAT?” Wander felt his face beginning to heat up as he squirmed.
“Oh, I don’t know, maybe… This?” Feeling bold, Aether pushed Wanderer’s sleeves aside, revealing his unprotected underarms. He quickly grabbed his hands, pinning them above his head.
“Don’t. You. Dare.” Wanderer glared up at Aether, completely flushed.
“Your face is bright red!” Aether said delightedly.
“Shut uHUHUP! NOOAHAHAHAHAAHAHA!!”
“Ooh, did I find a good spot~?” Aether said, swiping the feather up, down, and around Wanderer’s underarm.
“STAHAHAHAHAHAAAHAHAP!” Wanderer laughed, shaking his head back and forth in protest.
“See? You don’t normally have this much of a reaction. You must be extra feather ticklish, huh? Is that it?”
“IHIHIHI’M G-GOING TO KIHIHIHILL YOHOHOHOU!!”
“Hey, I thought we were passed that!”
“AHAHAHAT LEHEHEAST MOVE SOMEWHERE EHEHELSE!!”
“Hmm, okay!” Aether let go of Wanderer’s hands and swiftly turned around, grabbing one of his feet instead. He took off his sandal and wiggled the feather in between his toes.
Wanderer screamed. “AAAAHAHAHAAAAA!! NAHAHAHAHAHA WHAHAHAHAHAHAT ARE YOHOHOU DOHOHOING??”
“Giving you what you deserve!”
Wanderer threw his head back and laughed and laughed and laughed. After a minute or two of thrashing around, Wanderer desperately reached forward to squeeze Aether’s sides.
Aether squeaked. “Hehehehey!!” He fell back on top of Wanderer.
“Grrr, take this, you little worm!” Wanderer continued squeezing up and down Aether’s sides.
“Ahahahahaha!” Aether laughed happily. He shouldn’t have let his guard down!
Wanderer began vibrating his fingers into Aether’s tummy. “How do you like it, huh!? Laugh it up!”
“NAAAHAHA!! OhohohOHO NOHOHOHO!!”
“Quit squirming, your hair is slapping me in the face!”
Aether had to think of something, quick! He was still holding onto the artifact, maybe he could reach…
“AIIIIEEEEYAHAHA FUHUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!” Wanderer let go of Aether, howling at the unfamiliar sensation on his inner thigh.
Aether had managed to flip himself back over and straddle Wanderer’s waist once again. He had slipped the feather up Wanderer’s shorts and was now furiously brushing it up against his inner thigh. Aether was ecstatic from the level of a reaction this was getting!
“AETHEHEHER PLEHEHEHEHEHEASE!!!” Wanderer, begging, crying tears of joy.
“You’re just insanely ticklish, aren’t you?” Aether exclaimed in disbelief.
“PLEHEHEHEHEHEASE STAHAHAHAHAP!! I-I CAHAHAHAN’T! I CAN’T TAHAHAHAKE ANYMOHOHOHORE!!”
“Aww, giving up already?”
“YOHOHOHOU’RE THE WOHOHOHORST!! YOU KNOW THAHAHAHAHAT!?” Wanderer cried, as his laughter went silent.
“Alright, alright, I think you’ve had enough.” Aether spared him.
“Ohoho ahaharchons… Thahahank yohohohou…” Wanderer said defeatedly, gasping for air. He wiped his tears with the back of his hand.
Aether finally turned back around to see how utterly wrecked Wanderer looked. His hair was a mess, his face bright red, tears streaming down his cheeks… Aether blushed at the sight.
“I really got you good, didn’t I?” Aether scratched the back of his head bashfully, realizing what he had just done.
“No kidding,” Wanderer scoffed, a wobbly smile still plastered on his face.
“Please do take this,” Aether said, holding the feather out to him once again.
Wanderer’s eyes widened as Aether waved the dastardly thing in front of his face. He grabbed it. “Fine. Whatever,” he said, avoiding Aether’s gaze. “Just, don’t pull something like that again, got it?”
“Sure, sure,” Aether snickered.

Hey hey hey... I wanna bully our little scara -oopse I mean wanderer aka I renamed him to "Mochi" ain't that cute!
Thanks to the recent hoyofair someone gave me the idea to name him Mochi
But I'll be calling him wanderer... anyway enjoy hehe
Warning spoilers for Sumeru
A weakness?
Tumblr media
Now, Aether likes to team up with many. He even has the audacity to call our all four archons to help him in commisssions and abyss trials.
Heck... Ei and Nahida seemed game too and Aether had no trouble teaming up with anyone.
"Worthless as expected"
Although a certain someone seemed too difficult to handle... more difficult than Xiao supposedly...
"I told you..." Wanderer elevated from the ground now, landing his wind blades perfectly striking the treasure hoarders who now fled from the new threat, "Be direct and don't hesitate... sucker..."
Aether is just sick of him now. At least Xiao opened up to him more as time went by. Wanderer just gets on his nerves a lot.
"Alright, but can you just be a little calm... nicer too, " Aether said, suddenly feeling irritated too. Blue eyes shifted away, and he grumbled, "It's not my fault you are weak"
"Mochi~, please... aren't u being too mean?" He tried to tease him to lighten up the mood, Wanderer seems too bitter to acknowledge that, so he ignored him."Whatever... can't stoop to your level ...let's finish this quickly"
Aether growled "You little..."
Smirking wanderer folded his arms. "What? You would rather have me sugar coat it and mince my words? I apologize. " he rolled his eyes sarcastically."But try and keep up...!"
Muttering Aether rolled his eyes "Rude..."
Of course Katherine as always return them their commission rewards and Wanderer folds his arms saying "Alright if that's all I'll be taking my leave-"
"Hold it, Hat guy," giggling Aether grabs his shoulders. "Let's hang out a little at the teapot... come on, you need to lighten up,"
Growling "No need I'm busy..."
"With...?"
Clearing his throat he looks away "Non of your business... so find someone else to -aaaah!"
Swirling into a sudden shift of atmosphere he knew he's being forced to enter this dumb teapot. Unbelievable, he thought and Aether grins "Come on... let's have some tea as we chat..."
To say Aether is merely annoying isn't enough. He's too troublesome. Wanderer would definitely find his company too energy wasting but also... leaving this guy alone might see wrong too. Especially after helping him ascend a lot.
He kinda felt like he owe to the traveler. Paimon was absent and that's a plus point.
"Anyway... I've been meaning to ask, " Wanderer says," Now sipping yhe tea that's brewed instantly "why do you want to chat with me? After everything we never ended on good terms either"
Aether silently drinks and then sigh "Alright that old charade... you are naive, Mochi..."
Raising an eyebrow he watched Aether scoot closer to him now leaning forward with a smirk "OK who was the guy who asked me to name him?"
Bingo, Aether grins, he blushed at that.
"Then who was the guy who gave me a lovely present on my birthday...?"
"Lesser lord Kusanali bribed me into it-"
"-And yet you didn't leave after knowing you were bribed?" Cutting in fondly and Wanderer tried his best to hide the warmth spreading on his cheeks and looks away with a stubborn huff, folding his arms "Well... think what you may... but there's no way I admit to anything"
"Aw Mochi your blush just gives it away" Aether grins poking his checking making the anemo user let out a pettish immature and yet indignant scoff "It doesnt!"
"It does..." Aether pokes his nose.
"No it didn't" swats his hand now and Aether poles his stomach grinning "It does..."
"Hey..." Yelps as the poke sent an electrifying spread on his stomach, fluttering like multiple wings chaotically dancing in him.
"Oh?" Intrigued, Aether pokes his ribs now "Are you ticklish?"
"No... absurd... why would you consider that possibility?" He backs off regardless of his words and Aether readying himself with two pointer fingers like they are guns "I don't know... but it's a possibility alright..."
"Get away from me... k-knos your place!" He threatens now eyes widening when Aether pounce on him, two fingers wiggling but not touching yet."Tickles will be your place!"
"Hehe wait! Noho!" He already feels giggles slip from his lips and Aether is tranced by it, he only has two wiggling fingers on his sides and its already making Wanderer crazy.
"Cute... I wish i done this sooner" he pokes mercilessly on his ribs and beams at the squeal of indignant protests from the former all mighty god.
"AHAHA Shihit gehehet ahahawaaay!" He curls back "Dohont...! Stahahahap!"
"Don't stop? OK... then, " Aether teases when Wanderer groans through his giggling. He notices its ten fingers wiggling under his robes now and squirms with giggles that are uncharacteristic.
Genuinely Aether grins "Your giggles are adorable... Kittenish and cute... you should laugh more"
Aether feels every attempt of Wanderer's fists trying to punch his way out but its aimless and he can't even concentrate to fly away. This ticklish technique in poking and scribbling is killing him.
"Cuhuhut ihihit out! Hahaha ihihit... stahahap!"
Grinning, an idea as he kneads his hips like a dough "Stop doing what... Mochi?"
"Tihihihickling mehehehe yohohou lohohow lihihife!"
"Oh, you want more? Sure... coming right up" he squeezes his knees, and Wanderer realises how much power tickling has over him. His whines for falling for the oldest trick in the book and shrieks "OK! Ohohok, yohohou idiot! Stahahap ihihit! Seheheheriously!"
Aether hums but pausing his attack to only push him down with his hands. "Hmm, say you like hanging out with me and ill consider..."
Wanderer widened his eyes and hesitated "Ihihi... uh..." but squeaks when Aether latches on to his thighs and giggles without Aether tickling him "Last chance... or I'll tickle you till you go crazy"
"Ahaharchons wahahit... OK ok! Mahahaybe hanging out with yohou isn't bahahad? -ahaha eek!" The shrilled noise from Wanderer when Aether reached to touch his ears made him giggle "Aha hilarious... I can't take you seriously..."
"OK I like hahahangjng out with you!" He scrunched his neck when Aether trails his fingers on his neck and ears "ahaha I said it i said I SAID IT!"
Cruelly but playfully gentle, Aether doesn't stop and hums "Hmm maybe after tickling you a bjt"
"BUHUHUT YOU SAHAHAID YOULL STAHAHAP!
"Bleh" mocking his own raspberry aether snickers "I said consider... so I considered..."
"IHIHI WIHIHILL KILL YOHOHOU!" He shrieked bloody murder and Aether honestly stopped to laugh properly at the sounds Mochi had let out through the tickle session.
"Oh archons... you sounded like being hit by the electro archons lightening there" he laughed till his own cheeks flushed as Wanderer's
The latter gasps now glaring but involuntary giggling to lighten the effect "Yohou ahahre cruhuhuel... I hahate you."
Playfully he shoves his shoulders and Wanderer falls to the side effortlessly. Aether sighing as he had been laughing as hard as Wanderer "OK Mochi...this is why I like going with you... cute and very serious"
Blushes more Wanderer turns away "W-whatever... just admit that I'm strong enough for... uh these things"
"Alright alright... you are" Aether waves his hands in surrender but adds with a playful finger sliding up Wanderer's back "But not strong enough to deal with a little tickling"
"Ah!" He shrieks at the sudden sensation and turns his back away from him glaring at him still blushing "Don't you dare! I'll-I uh I'll chomp you down like a -a shrimp masala curry!"
"Yah yah but I'll tickle you before you could" Aether giggles and takes his hat running off with loud bouncy laughs "Hehe!"
Wanderer smirks now, feeling light and happy. "Oh? Come here, you lowly traveler, and feel the wrath of the former god!"
To say Aether didn't expect revenge is a lie... he wanted things to escalate like this perhaps... although maybe he's more tolerable than before.
"Bow your head!" While tickling Aether's sides.
Or maybe his attitude still stinks, but it's adorable. Despite being an offhand aggressive jerk, he can also display softness and cuteness...

A Sleepy, Ticklish Aether
Summary: A sleepy Aether is a very needy, ticklish Aether and Xiao and Lyney take notice.
A/N: This takes place post-cooking for Lyney in the 4.4 cooking event. The animations for Aether and Lumine cooking are so cute! Xiao has softened up in this one and is quite a tease. Wonder where he learned it from 🤔. Anyway, hope you enjoy this one; happy reading!
Word Count: 1615
Aether yawned as the fatigue of nonstop cooking at Wangshu Inn started to catch up to him. Paimon had it worse as she was sleep talking, so Aether sent her to their room. Wanting to close his eyes and feel the cool breeze on his cheeks, he made his way up the stairs to the top balcony.
“Yawn. I'm so tired. I wish Xiao was up here. I wonder where Lyney- oof!”
Aether collided with someone making him rub his eyes and start to apologize before his eyes widened when he realized who he bumped into.
“L-Lyney?”
“Oh! It's you, my golden ball of sunshine. Though…” Lyney took a double take at Aether’s facial expression. “You look exhausted.”
“Yeah. Yawn. I am. Yawn. Long day…”
Aether suddenly stumbled forward as his eyes drooped. Lyney caught him with a concerned expression on his face.
“Hey. Let’s get you to bed now, okay?”
Lyney squished Aether’s cheek with his hand before he carried him bridal style.
“Heyyy,” Aether pouted, weakly batting at Lyney’s arms.
Lyney smiled fondly at him and gave him a peck on the forehead.
“You are so cute, you know that?”
“No, I’m not.”
“Yes, you are.”
“No.”
“Yes.”
“Ahem.”
Both Lyney and Aether jolted at the sound of another voice as they tightened their grip around each other and looked towards the source of said voice.
“Oh. Sorry for scaring you both.”
Xiao stood before them with a red hue on his ears.
“Xiao! You are here!”
Aether sent Xiao a sleepy grin that made his heart melt and face heat up, the red tinge on his ears intensifying.
“Oh? Is the Yaksha blushing,” Lyney teased.
“Shut up. You can’t tell me that you aren’t affected by that. Even Wanderer isn’t immune to that.”
“What are you guys talking about? I’m just being me,” Aether said, confused.
Xiao and Lyney looked at each other before looking back at him with soft looks in their eyes.
“And that’s why we love you,” they said at the same time.
“You are just so cute for all of us,” Lyney added. “Especially for him.”
Lyney wiggled his eyebrows at Xiao who just rolled his eyes and started lightly tickling Lyney’s sides.
“I believe you were the one that was down bad for Aether when you first laid eyes on him.”
“Xiahohoho!” Lyney giggled, wiggling side to side as Aether tightened his grip around him. “Nohohohot truhuhuhue! Wait! Wahahahait! I’m gohohoing to drop Aehehehether!” He squeaked when Xiao tickled a particularly sensitive spot.
A proud smile crossed Xiao’s face. “That was for your teasing. Now come over here.”
Lyney hesitantly walked over to Xiao, giggling all the way as the tickle sensations lingered. Xiao wiggled his fingers teasingly as a small smirk appeared on his face.
“Hehehey! Whehehen dihihid yohuhu becohohome a tehehehease?!”
“I learn from the best,” Xiao said, looking towards Aether then him.
As the two continued to talk, Aether stared at Xiao's hands, mesmerized by his fingers. Their voices faded away and he imagined being teased into oblivion by both his boyfriends. Fingertips that gently graze against his side as they keep him on edge and giggling as they pepper him with kisses.
“I wanna be tickled so bad now. Please wreck meheheheeeee.”
Aether whined, burying his face into Lyney's chest before he realized that his chest feels more defined than before. He let go of who he was hugging and looked up to find a surprised looking Xiao whose expression was slowly morphing into a smirk.
“X-Xiao!?”
“What got you so whiney, sunshine?~” a deep, teasy voice sounded right against his ear as arms wrapped around him, trapping him.
He let out surprised giggles as the vibrations and breath of who he knows to be Lyney sent ticklish sensations throughout his body.
Being squished in between his boyfriends, in which he knows to be Xiao's room and bed, Aether can't help but feel more ticklish.
Xiao whispered in his other ear. “What were you thinking to not notice me teleport to my room, hmm? Was it this?” he raised his hands again and wiggled them right in front of Aether’s eyes making him shiver and hold back his giggles as he shook his head defiantly and scoot backwards only to bump into Lyney's chest.
“Are you surrree?” Lyney teased, his smirk audible. He tightened his grip around Aether as he made him look on at Xiao's wiggling digits as they slowly descended.
“I-ihihihi hahahave no idehehea whahahat you arehehe tahahalking abohohout,” Aether giggled.
He raised his hands up to prevent Xiao from touching him, but Lyney with surprising ease raised both his arms and hugged his middle tightly.
“Nu uh uh~ Come on. Tell us what you were thinking.”
“Ihihihi hahahave nothihihihng to- hehehehe sahahahay!”
Aether felt vulnerable as his body was stretched taut, his nerves on edge.
“Youhuhuhu wohohohn’t geheheht ihihihit out of mehehe! Eep!”
“Oh? So, you did have something on your mind.”
Xiao's fingers landed on Aether's belly, but never moved, much to his dismay.
“We have all night, baby,” Xiao teased.
In a different situation, Aether would be proud of him for being such a tease but being on the receiving end made him arch into his touch and whine.
Xiao just raised his hands to avoid grazing his stomach, not giving him satisfaction.
“Plehehehease! Xiahohoho!” Aether begged.
Xiao and Lyney hadn’t seen their lover be this needy before, but they had no complaints as they continued, loving this side of him.
“Please what?”
To add to his predicament, Lyney began blowing puffs of air on his ears, making him squirm and scrunch up his shoulders.
“Youhuhuhu guhuhuhuys! Hehehehehe! Thihihis ihihihisn’t fahahahair! Ahahahahaha!”
“All's fair in love and… tickling,” they said in unison.
Aether giggled uncontrollably and whined as he tried to follow their touches, but they didn't bite.
“My lohohoves, plehehehease dohoho ihihihit! Hehehehehe!”
He was losing his mind and could only think about getting his lovers to tickle him.
“Please please please plehehehease!”
Xiao experimentally slid his fingers along his belly causing him to buck up and laugh.
“AHHAHAHA! Yehehehes! Finahahally- Wh-why did you stop?”
Xiao's fingers settled back on to his stomach, not moving.
“Did you think I would just give it to you like that? Tell us what you want,” he growled playfully, blowing a raspberry on Aether's neck.
Lyney did the same, overwhelming him with ticklish sparks.
“GAHAHAHA! WAHAHAHAIT! IT TIHIHICKLES TOO MUHUHUCH! AHAHAHA!
As quick as they started, they stopped.
“But you loved it didn't you?” Lyney whispered into his ear.
Aether nodded, giggles filling the air as Xiao lightly drummed his fingers against his belly.
“Just say the words.”
Aether hesitated on whether he can hold out, but with Xiao tortuously drumming his fingers and Lyney now nuzzling against his neck, he couldn't hold back anymore and needed to get wrecked.
“Plehehease tickle me! I nehehehed it so bahahad! Wreheheck mehehehe!”
Giggles slipped in as Xiao and Lyney exchanged a look.
Did we actually break him? That was more than I thought he would say. Is he really that tickle starved?
Not one to make their lover suffer any longer, they went in.
Lyney moved his hands down to Aether's hips, squeezing rapidly, while Xiao went to town on his tummy.
A look of relief and excitement passed through his eyes before a bright smile appeared and laughter started pouring out of him.
“GAHAHAHA! AHAHAHAHAHA! OH MY ARCHOHONS! IT TICKLEHEHEHES SOHOHOHO MUHUHUHUCH! HAHAHAHA!” He thrashed in Lyney's embrace, as he reflexively tried to curl in on himself.
“Of course it does, silly,” Lyney grinned, planting ticklish kisses along his neck.
Xiao just smiled as he switched to wiggling his fingers against Aether's neck and Lyney started drilling into his ribs.
“AhhHAHAHhaha! Oh maHAHAhahan! Ihiht TIHIHICKLES! NAHAHAahahaHAHA!” Aether spasmed, the mix of light and intense tickling driving him crazy.
Xiao growled, knowing how much it affects Aether and started nibbling the shell of his ear making Aether shake his head.
“Xiahahahao! Dohohon’t- heheheahaha- AHAHAHAHA! LYNEHEHEHEY!”
Lyney slid down and kneaded his thighs catching him off guard and laughing hysterically.
Not to be outdone by the magician, Xiao blew raspberry after raspberry on Aether's navel, causing him to throw his head back in ticklish mirth and tears to run down his face.
“OHOHOHO GOHOHOD! LOHOHOVES! HAHAHAHA! AHAHAHAHAHA! NEHEHEHAHAHA!”
They noticed his energy slowly slipping away and decided to drive him over the edge as a finale.
“Ready Lyney?” The adeptus called over Aether's laughter.
“Yup! Let's finish it.”
Taking their positions along the golden boy's death spots, Xiao at his armpits and Lyney at his hip bones, they went all in.
Massaging, swiping, rubbing, any technique they know, they used, and Aether dissolved into laughter.
“AHHHAHAHHAHA, AHAHAHA! OHOHOHO- NAHAHAHA! GAHAHAHA! EHEHEHAHAHA! HAHAHAHAHA-”
His laughter went silent, making them back off and watch as he recovered. With whatever remaining strength, he brought Lyney in front of him with Xiao and hugged them both, giggles filtering in as he relaxed. A blissful look made its way on his face as he cuddled with them.
“Thank you, my babies,” he said softly, giving them each a deep and passionate kiss. “I needed that. I really love you both oh so much.”
“We love you too, sunshine,” they said, returning the kiss with equal fervor.
Aether closed his eyes and fell asleep peacefully, embraced by his lovers.
“Night, Aether.”
“Sweet dreams, sunshine.”
Xiao and Lyney waited to make sure his breathing evened out before going to sleep themselves.
“Love you, Lyney.”
“Love you too, Xiao.”
“Good night.”
“Night.”
They gave each other a night kiss before they snuggled up closer to Aether, his laughter playing in their dreams.

TickleTober2023/Day 10 - Cloak
Genshin Impact - Aether x Wanderer
P.S.: "Wanderer" is also called "Scara" in here because that's what I've called him if I played the game, ehe
Tumblr media
“Hey,” Scara called out, his eyebrow twitching slightly in annoyance.
“Woah… it’s so warm…” Aether sighed pleased, finally managing to shield himself from Dragonspine’s ruthless cold wind. The blonde tightened his grip, pulling the cloak over his shoulders.
Scara sighed, deciding to try a nonviolent approach again - just like aunt Buer asked him. “Aether, seriously-”
“Hm? What is it, Scara?” The traveler asked, barely turning his head to the side and looking at the wanderer.
“You little- ahem, can’t you… get your own cloak?”
“Why?”
Scara clenched his hand into a fist. ‘Why?’, he thought, considering the idea of throwing Aether off one of those cliffs. “Because this is my cloak! You are going to stretch it out, you idi- I mean, I’m sure you brought one for yourself, right? You wouldn’t come to a place like this in that exposing outfit of yours, I imagine.”
Aether pouted, scrunching up his shoulders as he refused to let go. “But yours is extra warm… didn’t you say you used to wear it back in Snezhnaya? Mine isn’t as thick…”
Scara was really, really trying to stick to the lesser lord Kusanali’s request, but that dumb traveler was making it impossible. “Remember, breath in, breath out,” he remembered her saying, nudging Aether’s body underneath the cloak to try to push him away. “I don’t care, just let go of my cloak!”
“Hehey!” Aether giggled, using one hand to stop Scara from keep prodding at his stomach, “no tihickling, that’s unfair!”
“What?” Scara raised an eyebrow, confused. “I’m not playing around, let goHOH- AHaha, Ahahaether!” Before he could insist again, the wanderer felt a pair of hands squeezing up his sides, clawing at his lower ribs.
The blonde giggled along, continuing his assault underneath the cloak. “What? Can’t you take what you dish out?” He teased, taking one hand to tickle Scara’s stomach, making his giggles rise a pitch.
If the cloth was already way too small to protect both of them from the Dragonspine’s cold, as Scara squirmed and flailed his arms, it was even easier for short gusts of cold air to sneak through their protection.
“S-stop pushing! You’ll get us cold!” Aether stuttered, feeling a shiver run up his back as he felt the coldness on his skin. However, the traveler still refused to let go of Scara, his hands descending to his waist and making the poor wanderer thrash even harder.
“S-stahAHAhap it!!” Scara cackled, letting go of the cloak to hold Aether’s by his wrists. “LehEHEhet gohOHo, y-you jehEHErk!!” He whined through his laughter, involuntarily leaning into Aether to protect himself from the cold.
“So we can share the cloak?”
“No- ahAHa, f-fuhUHuck!” Scara cursed, regretting his words as he felt Aether’s thumbs digging a little harder on his waist. “FihiHIHine! Just stohOHOp!”
Glad with the positive answer, Aether quickly wrapped his hands around the wanderer’s body, pulling him into a hug while covering them both with the cloak. “Yay, thank you, Scara ~”
Catching up his breath, Scara rolled his eyes. “W-whatever…” He muttered, feeling his cheeks also getting a little warmer, but, this time, not thanks to the cloak.

- Aether, are you ticklish?~
- What? I-I'm not.. - he blushed and began to go away.
- Liar! - Venti and Paimon said in one voice.
~~~
Aether and Paimon walked around Mondstat, went into different shops and talked with their friends, they even met Captain Kaeya.
- I'm hungry. - Paimon's stomach began to growl.
- You seem to always be hungry. - Traveler chuckled.
- Hey! It's not true! - she flew closer and began to poked the blond.
- Ahaha okay okahay, sorry, let's go eat and you choose place.
- Hmm, and I can choose whatever I want! - his companion set the condition.
- Yes, you can choose whatever you want. - smiled.
- Okay, you're forgiven. - she giggled quietly and they went to choose a place where they would have dinner.
- So, what would you like? - Aether put his hands on his sides.
- Mmm, it's very difficult to choose. Every place has delicious food and wants everything at once. - Paimon whined.
- But we must choose one establishment.
- I know.. Why is it so difficult!
- ..I'm SOHOHO SOHOHOHORRY, DIHIHIHIONA - laughter was heard from somewhere.
-Did you hear that? - the user of sword began to look around.
- Mm, it looks like the sound came from Cat's Tail tavern. Oh, there's food there! We'll go there!
- I thought you would be more interested in whose laughter it was. - the blond chuckled and ran after the white-haired.
As soon as they opened the door, they saw that Venti was lying on the floor, laughing and sneezing, and three girls were sitting on him, and among them was the mistress of the tavern.
- Hey, what's going on here? - Paimon asked.
~~~
Venti tries to catch his breath and looks at Aether, who has blushed at Diona's question and is trying to slowly run away.
- Where are you going? - Klee asked and goes to him.
- Um, I have a quest.
- It’s not true, we’ve done all our work for today. - Paimon grinned.
- Oh, Traveler is lying. - Qiqi lowered her head to the side.
- Hmmm, that's very bad of him. - the user of the cryo element thought. - We need to punish him.
- I agree! - Venti raised his hand and began to stand up.
- What? Oh no please, I-I just came to eat.. - Aether blushed.
- You didn't say you were hungry. - white-haired girl looks at her companion.
The bard quietly approached his friend and grabbed his hands.
- Venti, nooo! - the blond began to struggle.
- Venti yes, ehe. - he winked.
Girls grinned and came closer, surrounding Traveler trying to escape.
- Oh please, I don’t have much timeEEEEK - blond squeaked from poke in stomach.
- Hm? What? We didn't understand you~ Diona grinned.
- Paimon help meeee - Aether begged.
- Meh, I won't help the liar. - stuck out her tongue and reads the menu.
Little girls giggled and wiggled their fingers in the air.
- So Traveler, where are your most ticklish spots? - Klee smiled.
- Um, I haven't.. - the sword user blushed.
- Everywhere~ Venti whispers, causing Aether to get goosebumps.
- Oh no no no Ventiii
Diona was the first to decide to attack and her small fingers began to tickle his bare stomach.
The blond immediately threw his head back and laughed loudly.
- Ohohoho nohohohoh plehehehheaahhahase nohohohot thehhehere nohohohot thehehehehehheherehehehe - he began to squirm.
Klee supported her friend and began tickling the right side the user of sword user, then quickly moved to the left so that he didn't have time to get used to it.
- I cahahahahan't ihihihihit tihihihickles sohohoho mahhahahahauch - Aether squeals.
- Aww, his reaction is so cute. - Diona smiled.
Qiqi watched them play with curiosity.
- So, Traveler, do you admit that you lied to us? - Klee asked.
- Ahahahahaha ohohohooh plehehehehehease stohohohohop ahahahnd I'll tehehEHEHEHEHELL - suddenly he jumped and his laughter was louder.
Everyone was surprised, even Paimon was distracted from her work to understand what happened. It turns out it was Qiqi, who began to slowly tickle inside of his thighs.
It was unbearable for the blond. Very quick tickling on his stomach and sides and gentle tickling on thighs. But that wasn't the end, as Venti also wanted to have fun and started tickling his armpits.
- VEHEHEHEHEHENTY
- Ehe, yes that’s my name - he chuckled.
- We want to know the truth! - said the tavern owner.
- Okahahahay okahahAHAHHAHAHAY I'M SOHOHOHO TIHIHIHIHICKLISH OHOHO PLEHEHEHEHEHEASE
They played with Aether for some more time, but soon they stopped when his laughter became quieter.
- Hehehe it was fun! - Klee said.
- Qiqi liked tickling Traveler.
- This will be a lesson for you, never lie, especially when you are very ticklish. - Diona grinned.
Aether is trying to come to his senses, breathing heavily.
Venti continued to hold him and straightened his hair.
- Actually, you deserved it because you didn’t help me. - stuck out his tongue.
Diona brought a glass of water and gave it to the blond.
- T-thank you - he quickly drank the water.
- Okay, we had fun, especially for Traveler,” she winked and giggled. - Now it's time to eat.
- Yay! - happy Paimon.
And they all sat down at the table and started dinner. Now they will always smile, remembering this day.

(aether, albedo)
summary: sometimes side effects are more prominent than the actual product.
a/n: this is kinda romantic implied bc i wrote albedo sort of crushing on aether but it could be read as platonic so i'm just keeping it vague lol. more lee aether who is surprised.
[this is a sfw tickle fic!]
・・・・・・・・・・・・・・
At this point, Aether is used to being a test subject. He came to Teyvat to find his sister, yet now he’s going to leave an unwilling hero and guinea pig — and, by the looks of it, still sisterless.
He can’t count how many times he’s gone through Lisa asking him to try a new spell, or Charlotte telling him to stand still so she can work on her photography, or Lyney practicing a magic trick he’s just come up with. He doesn’t mind it, really, not that much — it’s better than trying to fix all the Archons’ problems for them.
(He’s still hoping for Diluc to join the ‘ask-Aether-to-try-every-new-thing’ club, but considering everyone thinks he’s a teenager and not thousands of years old, he doesn’t think he’ll be doing a wine tasting any time soon.)
Point is, this whole thing isn’t just because of his own stupidity. He made a very understandable assumption, alright?
“Come here,” Albedo says, writing down some notes. “I want you to try this elixir out for me, if you wouldn’t mind.”
Aether nods, although Albedo can’t see it with his head bent down. He walks over to the table and sees two bottles, both filled about halfway. On the right is a pale green, glistening substance, and the bottle on the left contains a much more appetising blue-purple liquid. Albedo doesn’t look up from his notes, so Aether takes a 50/50 chance and picks up the left bottle. He downs it in one go.
Albedo looks up, then tilts his head. “That wasn’t the right one.”
Oh.
If Paimon were here, she’d panic and begin asking every question she could think of — but she’s not here, and Aether doesn’t know how to panic for himself. So, all he says is, “Am I going to die?”
“No,” Albedo says, sounding a little amused at how flat his voice is. “But—”
“Will I be in pain?”
“No.”
Aether shrugs. “Alright then. I don’t see a prob—LEHEM!”
His hands shoot up to cover his mouth, his eyes widening as a sudden sensation washes over him. Albedo looks on with a mixture of pity and curiosity as he sinks to his knees. “Maybe I should have warned you better…”
Aether curls in on himself, arms wrapped around his middle now instead of his mouth. “M-mahahake it stohohop!” he pleads, scrunching up his shoulders to protect from invisible, non-existent hands.
Albedo kneels down beside him, admiring the grin adorning his face. He’s never heard Aether laugh quite so freely before, and it’s very endearing. He finds himself staring for longer than he had intended. Aether is the one being tickled, yet Albedo is the one blushing — that doesn’t make any sense.
“In my experience, it stops after a short while,” Albedo finally says, blinking away from Aether’s incredibly pretty face, “although I took a much smaller dose than you. I’d estimate ten minutes at most.”
“T-tehehen?” Aether squeaks. “I cahan’t — too muhuhuch!”
Albedo can’t help but smile. Aether’s laugh is far too contagious. “Calm down, you’ll get used to it soon enough. It won’t feel nearly as bad in a couple minutes.”
Despite his words, Aether whines through helpless laughter, although he keeps any more complaints he may have to himself. From what Albedo had experienced, the tickling wasn’t intense at all; merely a step beyond tingling, just enough to make one laugh. For someone as ticklish as Aether, he supposes it might be a bit worse, but the overall outcome should be mostly the same.
“It was supposed to be a strength enhancer,” Albedo says, carrying the conversation while Aether is too busy cackling beside him. “It still is, technically. It just has some…very strong side effects. I’m sure if you could manage to stand, you’d find yourself a bit better with that sword of yours.”
“Plehehease,” Aether begs. “Mahahake it stohohohop…!”
“Hm.” Albedo reaches around him to scratch at his side, sending him scrambling away with a shriek.
“I hahate yohou!” he wails, then returns his arms around his waist protectively and kicks against the floor a little. “Yohou’re cruhuhuel!”
“I could leave you here until it's over,” Albedo suggests, making Aether frantically shake his head. “Maybe even make some more for you.”
“Y-yohou wohouldn’t!” Aether cries, although they both know he absolutely would.
Albedo pokes a spot on his tummy that his arms fail to cover up. “If you say so.”
