ROUND 1 MATCH 1: TY LEE vs HEROPON RIKI

Ty Lee (Avatar The Last Airbender) is one of the 3 members of Azula's team tasked with hunting down Avatar Aang. She has a unique technique called "chi blocking", in which she strikes fast at certain parts of the body to either immobilize them or nullify their bending abilities. She is incredibly acrobatic and was happily part of a Fire Nation circus troupe before (rather forcefully) joining Azula. She's the most cheerful and aloof of Azula's team, and she grabs the attention of a lot of boys, sometimes to her dismay.

Heropon Riki (deemed Heropon by his village) is one of the many faces that joins in Shulk's quest and is a father of 6 little kiddypons (2 of which join Shulk in a future adventure). Despite this, he has a very whimsical and silly attitude, serving as the comedic relief in the story, what with how he speaks with overconfidence of his abilities despite his fellow team members usually doing the heavy lifting. He does have his sweet moments, however, such as willing to adopt Shulk when he tells Riki that he was an orphan.

1. Morrigan: a witch stranded in the woods who goes out and explored the world with two dopes on a quest to save the world. She tries to use the hero for her own gains but ends up falling for them and allowing herself to feel emotions. Nothing I love more than that.

2. Aoi Todo: a man after my own heart, literally declares the MC his brother after he proclaimed "I like a girl with a big ass, like Jennifer Lawrence" how could I not fall in love with him?

3. Nekomaru Nidai: "Eat well, shit well!" I have the sense of humor of a child, so a character going around yelling about how they need to take a shit is just wonderful to me. Also the entire game he never puts himself in the spot light, he always tries to help everyone around him be the best they can be and that's something i try to do myself.

4. Ryuji Sakamoto: like ryuji, I am also best friend to a main character. 😎 Me and ryuji might honestly be the same person, trouble makers, emotionally traumatized by the adults around us, I also used to like track before I hurt my ankle pretty bad. But fuck atlus for putting in that homophobic part in p5.

5. Rock lee: his entire character is that he's worthless because he doesn't know ninjutsu, so he works his ass off to better his own skills without giving up. Best character in the entire series, or top 5, and he gets done super dirty in Shippuden.

6. Usopo: honestly one of the funniest characters in all of anime. When making a comic relief character, people should base it off usopp. Probably has one of the best personal growth stories in anime as well! I love a liar.

7. Arataka Reigen: I honestly think I just like comedy relief characters. Apart from being a total bastard man that just wants to make some money. There is a side of him that genuinely wants to help mob, or at the very least not see him become an evil psychic.

8. Shulk: literally has the best scream in any video game, don't @ me.

9. Ashoka Tano: literally the only female Jedi to get any real love or attention in the entire series. She's bad ass, doesn't put up with anyone's shit, and refuses to be walked over, even by people she considers family.

10. Anya the nerd: usually the main character in most games, whatever the female equivalent of a hiimbo is, that's Anya. Incredibly intelligent, passionate, never takes showers, always a nerd. A really cool bean, and she can't see bridges and constantly ask why it's raining, but I couldn't imagine not knowing a nerd like that.

Say, Shulk can be so giggly even if he's the ler, so I can picture him like that while he was tickling Cloud, maybe as a way to cheer him up!

Shulk's such a gigglebug that he can't resist to urge to laugh along with his lees, including Cloud!

Cloud will never admit it, but to see Shulk laughing just as much as he is when he's the ler for once... it warms his heart. In fact, it warms his heart so much, his demeanor will change (albeit very slightly) once Shulk is done, even if he isn't in need of cheering-up.

He tries to hide this from everyone who sees him, but despite all of his best attempts, he can never truly convince people that Shulk's laugh isn't adorable to him.

Naruto smash bro headcanons (along with a few other video game mentions)

naruto- sonic or shulk, probably in the lower half of everybody else skillwise, gets mad because sasuke beats him almost everytime and calls him a furry for playing lucario

sakura- kirby, doesn't play much ands in the bottom quarter skillwise, though kicks ass at Mariokart.

sasuke- lucario- just slightly better than naruto, pretty much the exact middle of everyone in skill, only real exposure to Pokémon was the cards and trying to steal itachis pokemon red cartridge when he was younger.

rock lee- pikachu- grew up on pokemon, including mystery dungeon, in the lower skill half but trying his best, uses this skin.

tenten- mostly toon link, occasionally solid snake- gotta have those projectiles, in the higher skill half, probably has played one or two legend of Zelda games. when she's playing to have fun she's pretty loud but if she's in a serious match shes dead silent.

neji- tenten and Lee forced him to play once and he chose robin, even with them going easy on him he lost by a landslide and hasn't played since. not really much of a video game person

hinata- ice climbers, will absolutely wreck your shit, her and kiba have been playing since melee came out, in the top 5 if not the best player among everybody, first time she played againist naruto the match was over in under a minute but she felt bad so she let him win a couple of rounds afterwards.

kiba- donkey kong- in the top 5 of everyone, wins againist hinata occasionally but prefers playing doubles with her on his team, probably has beat donkey country over 15 times.

shino- ness, doesnt play often due to not being that good, it normally takes hinata and kiba egging him on for him to play, likes watching them. not much of a video game person but does like earthbound and jrpgs

shikamaru- falco, in the lower skill half but could be better if he wanted to, rarely plays by himself. likes to watch and partake in the chaos of ino and choji playing againist everyone else. probably plays visual novels and tetris 99

choji- piranha plant- in the higher skill half, plays for fun rather than any competitive drive, honestly the least saltly out of everyone, always making the effort to type out "gg :)" after games. wishes petey piranha was a playable character

ino- inkling- mid skill level, probably right below sasuke but still above naruto, her strategy is more based on screaming and distraction than skill. Her and choji on a team get surprisingly more far than you'd think.

kankuro- Rosalina and luma- kiba made the mistake of suggesting he should play her, he was skeptical at first but now is a diehard rosa and luma main, in the top 5, probably 3rd. the only mario lore he knows is Luigis green and Marios red. Him and temari are a dysfunctional team but a team nonetheless

temari- pit and ex kirby main, still extremely good at kirby but trying to get used to pit so she can "get gud". higher skill half but somehow not top 5. grew up on kirby games, partially getting kankuro and gaara into it.

gaara- isabelle, plays her because he likes animal crossing, that's the pretty much the only reason. doesn't play often and generally dislikes fighting games but is happy temari and kankuro have something to bond over. would probably get along with shino while everyone else is playing.

Me.

Jokes aside, pretty much everyone worth following is gone or near-dead. I still answer questions when I get them (and when the people asking are Polite, which they rarely are anymore. You’d be surprised how many people have sent me real life names and private information of others to ask me to help curse them). I think it started happening a few years ago when the “community” became especially hostile and expected to have all of their questions answered. That’s not really how traditional craft works, you know? That whole movement also lended to my blog moving farther away from what it originally was because there was no point in trying to have public conversations anymore.

Give me an hour or so and I’ll come back to edit this post with a few recommendations for trad craft blogs. I’m also going to include some podcasts and books because those have become my main sources of information. This isn’t a great site for resources anymore. Not that it ever was, but I learned a lot from people who are no longer here. I was still way below their level when they were active so I never reached out and now that I’m more experienced I can’t tell them how much they influenced the way that I practice and seek out information. At the very least, I would have liked to say, “Thank you for touching my life, even if you never knew that it existed.”

I really love these blogs: @haremask, @deerhoofandrabbitsfoot, @iopanosiris, @ioqayin, @thedeedwithaname, @grimnirs-child, @therainshallmakeadoor, @southerncunning, and @toverijenspokerij. Hey, guys, you are very cool and I have been a fan for a long time and hopefully this ping isn’t weird. Full disclosure, I don’t think all of them are traditional witchcraft blogs, but they’re lovely. Others have since deleted or fallen into the void.

For podcasts: Betwixt and Between (their coven is in my area and I would love to meet them one day), Down at the Crossroads, and New World Witchery. Upon a Pagan Path only has nineteen episodes, but episode 005 is one that I constantly listen to because it speaks to me a lot.

For books, I am only recommending what I currently own and have read through: A Deed Without a Name by Lee Morgan, The Flame in the Cauldron by Orion Foxwood, The Candle at the Crossroads by Orion Foxwood, Thirteen Pathways of Occult Herbalism by Daniel Shulk, Wisht Waters by Gemma Gary (honestly, any of her books are a good read. I have multiple and I don’t want to list them), and Resurrection of the Meadow by Robin Artisson. I believe there’s been some controversy with Artisson, but this book is very good. This list isn’t everything that I have, but what’s relevant.

The greatest resources you can have are ones that deal with your area. Learn the land. Practice what it has taught you. This includes the flora, fauna, and seasonal changes. I say this in equal parts joking and serious: go out and lay in the dirt.

“Reyn, don’t… Don’t!” Shulk jumped away.

“Don’t what?” Reyn asked knowingly, fighting back a giant grin. Upon stepping closer, he gave up the act, far too amused by the way Shulk yelped in fear. 

The moment Shulk looked like he was about to make a break for it, Reyn pounced.

“NooOOOOOOHOHOHO!” Shulk cried out as he was tackled to the ground, immediately overwhelmed by fingers digging into his ribs. He wrestled to free himself from Reyn’s grasp, only to burst into laughter when one hand slipped beneath his shirt.

“Been too long since you laughed like this,” Reyn remarked as he scribbled at Shulk’s stomach. Shulk very much wanted to protest, but found it impossible to say anything coherent through hysterics.

A few minutes later found Reyn seated on Shulk’s arms, keeping them pinned as he focused the tickling on his underarms. Shulk squirmed and giggled helplessly through it all, but it wasn’t until Dunban intervened that Reyn finally let up.

Just because your favorite character didn’t make it into Smash as a playable fighter, it does not mean they are deconfirmed. They are still technically in Smash, with Super Smash Bros. Ultimate already being a massive crossover at heart.

I’ve been seeing a lot of people upset about certain characters from certain games, both Nintendo & outside like 2nd/3rd party companies, that didn’t become a fighter and got “reduced” to the three things I mention in the title.

For example: Some Xenoblade fans, myself included, were a bit upset and disappointed that Elma and Rex from Xenoblade Chronicles X & 2 technically did not make it into Smash. But instead, Elma along with Lin Lee Koo and a Skell are Spirits, and Rex alongside Nia got Mii Fighter Costumes as compensation. Not only that, we also get some soundtracks from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 in the Gaur Plain stage (Shulk’s home-stage from the first Xenoblade Chronicles). Sakurai also already said during the Nintendo Direct and other review sources that they were already deciding which fighters to include during the planning and development for Smash Ultimate. Unfortunately Rex couldn’t make the cut when Xenoblade Chronicles 2 was already announced alongside the confirmed development of Smash Ultimate, and Xenoblade 2 wasn’t popular yet at the time. (Fingers crossed for Rex and Elma as part of the Fighters Pass DLC!)

Back to my main point again, just because your favorite character didn’t “make it in” to Smash, you shouldn’t be extremely upset about it. They got in, whether they’re an Assist, costume, or Spirit.

Look at Little Mac; he was formerly an Assist Trophy in Brawl, then he later made it in as a playable fighter in Smash 4 and onward. However some characters that are Assist Trophies wouldn’t be able to become fighters because they do not truly have a full fighting move-set (looking at you Waluigi fans...). Yes, it is a shame characters like Shadow and Issac aren’t fighters, but at least they ARE in the game.

Even though Chrom is playable and is an Echo Fighter based on Roy, he is still part of Robin’s Final Smash, and still has a Mii Fighter Costume. I’m willing to bet there are still costumes of Link, Samus, King K. Rool, and Isabelle.

There are over 400+ Spirits in Smash Ultimate. Don’t be upset that they aren’t a fighter. King K. Rool is a playable fighter, yet his alter-ego persona, Kaptain K. Rool, is a Spirit. Even though we basically have 74 playable fighters (75 counting the upcoming Piranha Plant), there are still Spirits that are based on them and their respective franchise & series.

Nintendo & Sora Ltd. have already chosen and locked down 5 confirmed fighters, stages and music for the Fighters Pass DLC. All we can do at this point is wait and predict who’s going to become playable for the next 1.5-2 years. So even if your favorite character did not get picked for the FPDLC, please do not get mad at Sakurai and his team about it. They have worked so long and hard to make this new instalment of Smash the Ultimate fighting game.

I heard of this Minecraft mod called " Origins " where you can have the same abilities as some mobs in the game

Ok based on personalities and styles i would say

Kakashi would be Voidkin or Phantom because he is stealthy boy and this makes sense

Gai would be merling/turtian (partially because we have seen him fight in water even though it's not his natural area and kick ass)

Lee would be goatian because speed

Neji would be Enderian because he feels it's useful

Tenten would be shulk. Extra holding space just fits with the girl who can use scrolls to hold countless weapons and even an ocean

Naruto would be blazeborn because Kurema

Sakura would be Golem because super strength ass kicker

Sasuke would be feline because cat boy XD

Also it makes sense that Team Seven and Team Gai are a focus on this block since while it is a multiship blog, Kakagai is my main ship and team seven and eight are a packaged deal with them

In pokemon heartgold/soulsilver, you can get a prompt from your following pokemon that says “[Pokemon] began poking your belly!” Imagine trainer shulk :3

Shulk would die no matter what Pokemon pokes him in the stomach, but if it was a Pokemon like Pidgey or Spearow, then he would be absolutely fucked.
