Hey arseholes who keep saying Adrien need to "stand up" to Gabriel.
Let me tell you why he can't do that.
Lean real close.
OK. Now listen.
HE'S A FUCKING CHILD!!!
We're talking about a 14 to 15 year old boy. He's legally, and financially completely dependent on Gabriel. Unless child services take Adrien away there's nothing he can do about the way Gabriel treats him.
Can we stop with this victim blaming bullshit please? I've had enough!!

Just saw a post that called Adrien a bad partner for not recognizing that book in "Volpina." You cannot make this up.
...yeah that's stupid. How would he recognize it, he's never seen it before?
I mean a slightly better argument would be that he should have made sure to mention the book to Ladybug since it had something to do with the Miraculous, but given that the book went missing and his father pulled him from school and got akumatized over it, I can see why he didn't want to bring up that subject.

Someone told me they don't blame Adrien for how Gabriel abused him, and then added, "Adrien always enabled Gabriel. That's why his father used authority to contort him without hesitance, so Adrien, in fact, has a part in why it happens because all that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good people do nothing."
So it isn’t his fault that his father abused him, and somehow it is also his fault that he enabled his abuser and didn’t stand up for himself. How is that 'I don't blame Adrien for how Gabriel abused him'?

I got some comments on my story Lila’s Lament about how Marinette wouod not be touched to find out that Adrien made a deal with Lila to get her back, since she was so upset about Chat Noir sacroficing herself for her in battle. Besides the fact that I find Marinette complaining about Chat Noir’s sacrifices ungrateful, as they’re one of the major reasons she’s even made it this far, and without them she’d have fallen prey to akumas a hundred times over, I know why Marinette WOULD react differently if she found out Adrien’s sacrificed himself.
Because it’s Adrien.
Marinette doesn’t need confirmation that Chat Noir cares about her. She KNOWS he loves her, that he’s willing to do anything for her. Even without the sacrifices, she knows he cares and values and trusts her. She knows good and well where she stands with him, how much she means to him.
But with Adrien, it’s different. She knows he kind of sees her as a friend, but thanks to her awkwardness, they’re not as close as she is with Chat. Sometimes, Marinette isn’t a hundred percent sure how much Adrien cares. But if she knew what Adrien did for her, it’d be a testament to just how much he cares about her, how much she means to him. The revelation of his deal with Lila and how far he’s willing to go for her is crucial to any of those salt fics, especially the ones that start with Marinette going “wah wah, Adrien doesn’t care about me getting hurt, he cares about Lila’s feelings more than mine” because his act proves that Adrien does, in fact, care deeply for Marinette’s well-being. In stories where she worries if she matters enough to Adrien, the news about his deal with Lila is crucial, as it proves that she does matter to him, so much so that he would tolerate Lila’s clingy, overbearing presence in order to save her from disgrace, the kind of confirmation that Marinette does not require from Chat Noir.

Just as I promised, a sugar analysis on Ladybug side of Marinette's character:
Now I know that after Strikeback there are some of you saying that she is a bad guardian and all but I want to break it in pieces starting from Marinette's role as Ladybug. Is she really as bad as you say she is?
Is Marinette a bad Ladybug?
Tumblr media
Is that even a question?! This is the girl who thought she was not good enough until the girl she just met was in danger and this girl just swooped in and saved her. And after that the girl who bullied her for years was also in a life or death situation and Marinette saved her a$$ because she put her emotions behind. Other person's life was her priority regardless of who that was - the girl who was nice to her or the girl who wasn't. This is the girl who didn't take credit for the gift she gave to her crush because he would be crushed if he found out his father didn't give him a birthday gift that year. This is the girl who ALWAYS has to be everywhere and help everyone and do everything for everyone because she wants to. She is selfless and brave and generous.
This is also the girl who always no matter what happens can figure out what her lucky charm is for. Or she used it properly. I know I already talked about episodes when she calculates time and space (Backwarder, Timetagger), or episodes where she breaks the plot with her big brain (The Night Owl, Optigami), or when she unified every miraculous in Kwamibuster and pretend to be two people at the same time, but we don't give her enough credit for Strikeback. Because everyone is talking about "Ladybug failed oh no" but can we talk about how she recruit Adrien because he was presumably the only one who didn't have a tattoo (akuma) on his neck and she knew choosing someone like that would be safe AND she was careful not to cause a time paradox?! Even me, who was a hardcore Doctor Who, The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow fan, always forget how time paradox works.
Here's the deal: She didn't go back in time to prevent the akumatization, she went back in time to figure out what the akumatized object is. Because if she caught the akuma in the past that same akuma would not exist in present day and she wouldn't have had the reason to go back in time so she wouldn't. And that's how time paradox works.
But like she knew it! She did it! She travelled through time once with Bunnyx and she immediately knew what to do the second time all by herself. I mean
Tumblr media
!!! She's so clever and she thinks everything till the last detail like c'mon!
Tumblr media
This also the girl who doesn't go like "I'm right you're wrong" when she knows she's not right, when she does something wrong, she will admit it, she will apologise. Those are not common traits. She KNEW Chloé is not a saint, she still decided to help her, she KNEW both her and Kagami are wrong, she stepped back, she KNEW both Lila and her were wrong, she offered Lila peace. That's not what everyone else would do. I'm talking only about Miraculous Ladybug, I'm talking about people. She's only a kid and she's alright better than at least 90% of adults in that show and about 2/3 people I know. If she was a bad person she wouldn't be able to be good Ladybug but she is the best Ladybug. We already had two other characters who tired to use her miraculous and they couldn't be as good as her. Marinette is the best and the only Ladybug. The og Ladybug of her generation.
She got the whole Paris to cheer for her when she messed up! She is THAT powerful.
Is Marinette a bad guardian?
Tumblr media
From what can be seen in this picture clearly - and from this scene if you know the context - kwamis adore her. On her first day of being the guardian, Marinette was learning about kwamis and powers and she was worried if kwamis don't have enough space in the box so she let them fly around in her room. It's risky if someone sees them, but it's good for kwamis. She also put paper on her window so no would see kwamis when they walk pass her house. As someone a pet owner, they can be REALLY annoying when you're trying to sleep and if I had kwamis too I would lock them up while I sleep but she let them be free. Probably because she doesn't sleep a lot anyway. She brings kwamis different snacks and she even put the phone in the miracle box for emergencies! That is good. And I know I said this MILION times but THE HANDMADE SAFE WITH A LOCK!!! Gurl, I'm older than you but you're the one who taught me a lot of great things! Everyone can be a guardian but not everyone can be a good guardian. Marinette really cares about kwamis. She makes them tiny accessories...
Tumblr media
This is cute af! 😍😍😍
She also took kwamis to see Fu again, because they asked her to. She helped Tikki with her chocolate cravings, something Tikki was ashamed of, and she shouldn't because that's relatable. I too go chocolate crazy sometimes. Not as crazy as her but a lot of us loves chocolate. And Marinette didn't blame her for it or lectured her, she offered her help and support. No one can say that Marinette treats kwamis badly and that's something that's really important for the role of the guardian. And all this is more than what Fu was doing for these little ones.
When Marinette revealed her identity to another miraculous holder she did it a) because she was desperate, b) because she knew she can trust Alya and c) because revealing her identity to Chat Noir or anyone who knows Chat's identity already would mean that once this person is akumatized, Hawk Moth will find out both of their identities in the same time. Marinette knew Hawk Moth knows Alya's identity already so she and Alya had a deal for Alya to go undercover so that not only Hawk Moth but also no one except for Ladybug would find out. That was responsible. You can't say it's not.
And she gave every superhero a miraculous after she knew them for a long time and knew she can trust them, she also asked them if they want to. She gave them a choice. Fu didn't do any of this.
She has a lot of potential but this is too early and she's too young. And it's not her fault that it's too early. She's in the wrong place at the wrong time and she needed more training and more studying and more practice and more experience as a hero first before she took the role of the guardian. Of course, for that, look at the man who gave her that responsibility and taught her that her life needs to depend on it, not her. She's trying.
Is Ladybug treating Chat Noir badly?
Tumblr media
I put this here because Ladynoir dynamic is one of major things for Ladybug's autobiography and I got T-I-R-E-D of this salt take! And the reason for that is lame. "sHe DoEsN't NoTiCe He Is SaD" even this sentence is incorrect! She noticed, she asked him, and every time she asked he said everything is alright. She doesn't want to push and she doesn't read minds. She is doing her part of the job and only when she can and only when he lets her she's going to help him. And btw whenever she rejected his feelings it's because she doesn't feel the same way. Even in Glaciator 2 when she threw him - yes it was harsh, I love him too, I don't like to see him hurt - but do you're remember the episode Félix? When she punched Félix BEFORE she figured out it's not Adrien, when he tried to kiss her forcefully. She's gonna react like this to ANYONE when they want to kiss her without her consent, that's the line you should not cross not just Marinette, but with every person ever. That Glaciator 2 scene was annoying me to death bc people tell me my favourite character is abuser. Because she demands personal space, right? And don't get me started on "she's gaslighting Chat Noir" cuz do you even understand what "gaslighting" means?
Tumblr media
You do realize that Ladybug not telling Chat Noir about Rena Rouge is not the same as Ladybug emotionally abusing him and manipulating him?
Ladybug was protecting Rena and herself here too. If she told Chat and he got akumatized, her biggest nightmare, remember? Remember when she got traumatised for life?
Tumblr media
If Chat knew and got akumatized, he would've told Hawk Moth about Rena and Rena knows who Ladybug is so Ladybug would be toast and so will the whole world. I hope this clears it up.
And Kuro Neko? Chat Noir didn't show up and she doesn't know why, an episode earlier she argued with Su-Han that Chat Noir is reliable, and then Chat Noir disappeared after one argument. Same with NY special. What do you mean "Ladybug should've been nicer cuz he has abandonment issues". A) how is she supposed to know that and b) she has emotions and she should react. If someone didn't listen to her, if they made a deal and he didn't follow it, if it was important and it was, she should be angry. It doesn't matter who that is. Why do you always want her to adjust to everyone's childhood trauma, why is it never "this character should be nicer to Marinette as well, she's not the only one who needs to change, she deserves people to treat her better too". And since when do the same people who say "they should be equal" want Ladynoir dynamic to be only beneficial to one of them? Because that's not Ladynoir is about! We should totally just stab salters!
(I have to explain the last part is the Mean Girls reference for those who didn't get it because I got accused of slander against Marinette salters for saying it so just in case).

This is not “karma”. Kagami dating Adrien despite being friends with Marinette = Kagami doing nothing wrong. Firstly she knew Adrien before she knew Marinette and he was showing interest in her at the time. Secondly, what 14 year old girl wouldn’t want to date Adrien? Thirdly, Marinette was mature about it, realizing sometimes you have to take Ls in love and it doesn’t make your love rivals bad people and she never held it against Kagami. So where does this “karma” idea come from?
Kagami did nothing wrong. This is just the unfortunate side effect of the trio’s unwillingness to be a throuple. I await the day when things come full circle and Marinette and Adrien break up and she gets with Kagami and he stares on in heartbroken longing.

Chloe’s redemption arc hasn’t been abandoned—it’s just in its darkest hour
Anyone who knows me knows I’ve been saying this ever since Zoe showed up but this time I have proof, dammit!
Okay so: this season has been the darkest hour for EVERYONE. Marinette failed as a guardian, Adrien gave up his miraculous, the Kwami are all in the hands of Hawkmoth, and Alya had her Miraculous stripped from her. This is the low point in the show.
It’s also the low point of Chloe’s character arc. She outright asked for Hawkmoth to turn her in Penalteam. But here’s where we’re not looking:
Her arc this season paralleled Adrien’s.
Why? Well, Chloe and Adrien both start the season feeling way more isolated. Ladybug isn’t talking to either of them, and their relationships with her are deteriorating. (The difference is, Adrien still has faith and also cares about other people and so works to fix things, while Chloe just gives up.) At their lowest point, each of them is left off the team in Sole Crusher and Kuro Neko. outright abandons Team Miraculous in Queen Banana and Kuro Neko… and each of them is immediately replaced.
Here’s the other difference: Adrien has Plagg to still care about him and bring him back. Chloe has nobody. Or rather… she HAD nobody. Even Sabrina has abandoned her now.
You know who hasn’t abandoned her? Zoe.
Zoe is the only person who is outright giving Chloe any kind of unconditional love. To get her parents’ love, Chloe has to act like he most entitled brat in the world. None of her peers respect or like her. But, like Plagg for Adrien, Zoe says, I have seen you at your lowest and you are still family. I still care about you. Even though you annoy the shit out of me I am still here for you.
Plagg brought Adrien back in Kuro Neko. Zoe is going to bring Chloe back next season. It won’t be easy, but it’s gonna happen.
Zoe isn’t a sign that Chloe’s redemption arc has been abandoned. She’s the key element in making it work.

I don’t blame the class for not believing Adrien tbh. Adrien didn’t think Lila was all bad until recently. And he was so oblivious to Chloe’s abusive bullying to his classmates to the point where it was frustrating. He even made Marinette feel bad because the class celebrated the bully leaving, and I guess Adrien thought they were all jerks for doing that. Now as Marinette’s boyfriend he all of a sudden picks up on this? This is why I wish he and Marinette grew closer as friends before starting dating. Because at least they understand each other where the other is coming from
*sighs* Adrien hasn't been oblivious to Chloe's bullying. Seriously, where are you even getting that? Even back in Origins, he was trying to discourage her from doing that, and trying to minimize the impact, by scraping the gum off Marinette's seat. And back in Kung Food, when Marinette presumes that Chloe ruined her Uncle's soup, he agrees it's likely.
Alec: I'm sorry, Cheng Shifu, but I'm giving you a zero, too, which brings your score to 0.8/10 -- the lowest so far. Celestial Soup will therefore not be in the hotel's menu this year, and you will not be named "World's Greatest Chef"! (Adrien and Marinette are still feeling sorry for Wang Cheng Sifu)(The "World's Greatest Chef" logo flashes, and Marinette notices a flower petal fall from Chloé when she gets up) Marinette: This isn't right, and I'm certain Chloé's got something to do with it. Adrien: I'd like to say you're wrong, but I know her only too well.
He also tried to get her to at least attempt to be nicer to people in Despair Bear, and in Malediktator... well, this is the actual transcript.
Adrien: Hey, what’s going on here? What are we celebrating? Marinette: Chloé’s gone! She’s moving to New York! Adrien: Chloé left…? For good? Marinette:(still excited, not realizing that Adrien is not sharing everyone else’s enthusiasm) Yeah! Isn’t it great? Adrien: Uh… no. I think it’s terrible! How can you celebrate a thing like that? Marinette:(frowns) But, Chloé’s a total brat to everyone. She was useless anyway. Adrien: Nobody's useless, not even Chloé. When I was little and wasn't allowed out, she was the only friend I had. Marinette: Ow— well, uh… shoot. Adrien: She left angry and unhappy. I can't celebrate that. (walks off sadly)
Look. Adrien is really nice and sees the best in people, and generally functions off the philosophy of "try to talk to people to get them to change". He sees the best in people, and generally doesn't advocate or is okay with hurting someone if he sees any other option - and he did know Chloe when she was little, and they were friends. He doesn't like her attitude now, but that doesn't mean he's okay with just throwing her under the bus. He hasn't given up on her.
But he DOES still try to lecture her when she's being mean to others, like in Queen Banana. It just doesn't work.
If your qualification for "noticing bullying" is "gives up on the bully completely and treats them as only an enemy to be defeated", then yeah, by that definition, he's oblivious to her bullying. But that's a bad definition. Adrien isn't under the illusion that Chloe isn't a bully, he just doesn't think that means she's irredeemable, at least not yet. He's very compassionate, plus he has a history with her, so he's holding out hope for her to get better. In the meantime, he's not going to join in on purposely hurting her or celebrating something associated with her feeling hurt, but he also isn't under the illusion that she's some perfect angel - he knows how mean she is to the other kids and is frustrated by it, and generally tries to help mitigate her actions when he can.

I find it funny how Chole stans think that Marinette is the pushy one when it comes to Adrien.
Like yeah, him and Chloe were childhood friends, but it's obvious that Chloe makes Adrien uncomfortable. As soon as Chloe touches him or is close to him, Adrien looks uncomfortable as hell.
But when Marinette touches him, he lights up like a goddamn Christmas tree. Adrien even likes being close to Marinette and willingly has physical contact with her. Her presence in general makes him happy. Like "Marinette is too pushy and makes Adrien uncomfortable!", when and where? (Ofc there's the statue scene, but he didn't view Marinette differently or anything afterwards.) I'm not saying that Adrien hates Chloe or sm, of course not. But I'm just pointing out that if there's anyone making him uncomfortable it's Chloe. (And Lila, but this ain't abt her)

remember when zoe got introduced and adrien stans got excited because her whole shtick was how she's lost herself trying to please her family (sound familiar?), so we thought that she and adrien could bond over their issues, but she ended up being yet another character in marinette's harem?
and now they want me to accept zoe having his miraculous when they have interacted 0 times and are barely acquaintances?

What if the DC villain kids weren't the kids of the villains, and just had their origin stories? Or, somewhat similar origin stories. Like, Adrien and Marinette got exposed to chemicals when they were kids, and their brains got messed up
Marinette- Jestress
When the bakery was being fumigated, Marinette, at only five years old, was accidentally exposed to the dangerous chemicals
When she inhaled the fumes, they messed with her brain and induced a psychotic disposition
She would laugh at and take delight in even the most grimmest of things, and it worried Tom and Sabine greatly. Her parents took her to many specialists, but there was nothing anyone could do
Adrien- Adri-Quin
No one knew that the high brand fabric dye had some… Interesting results when inhaled
Gabriel and Emilie didn’t think too much of it when Adrien became exposed to the dyes, and shared a laugh when one side of his hair was colored pink and the other side blue, however, their sweet son slowly began to exhibit some alarming traits
He would point and laugh at anyone in pain and had this permanent smile on his face
Alya- Enigma
Alya Césaire always had a fascination with puzzles and riddles. She hyperfixated on each one she started, and refused to move on to a new one until she finished the one she was currently on
It got to a point where she had grown bored with solving puzzles, and would come up with her own more complex ones and challenge others to solve them
Those who would rebuff her requests soon faces the consequences, and she would force them to solve her puzzles through means of threats and blackmail, earning her quite the reputation at her old school
Nino- Mudslide
Nino had started out as a science experiment by his mothers, Anais and LaBrea
They sought to create life and hopefully create a child of their own by using sculpting clay along with a few other materials. It worked, and Nino became the sweet boy they’ve wanted for so long…
…Until a few years later, when he became destructive, vindictive, and used his shapeshifting abilities to steal and con people out of their money
They still didn’t know what went wrong
Chloé- Diamond Demom
Chloé always wanted to impress her mother, the ruthless Style Queen, Audrey Bourgeois. However, as Audrey rudely put it, Chloé was “unexceptional.” Fueled by a burning desire to finally make her mother proud, Chloé sought some sort of way to gain the same influential power as her mother, but she found something different and much better
Landing on her balcony one night was a small meteor, and when it cracked open, revealed a beautiful blue gem. When she touched it, Chloé became infused with some sort of power, the power of earth manipulation.
However, this new power corrupted her, and one afternoon during her mother’s fashion show, she destroyed the models’ outfits by telekinetically ripping the gems off of their outfits with her powers, tearing them to shreds
Sabrina- Duality
Sabrina started off as a sweet girl, until a horrible accident occurred one day at her old school
During science class, a careless student poured in the wrong chemical, and the solution exploded, with some of it getting on Sabrina and permanently damaging the right side of her face
After being healed and left with a massive scar on that half of her face, Sabrina was subjected to relentless bullying from the other students, causing her descent into madness
Obsessed with revenge, but still maintaining some of her kindness, she flipped a coin. Heads, she gets revenge on the other students, tails, she leaves them alone. The coin landed on heads
Kim- Croc King
Kim was born with a rare condition that gave him reptilian traits with his birth. His fathers, Teo and Élliot couldn’t care less about his appearance, and loved him dearly. It was others who had a problem with him
Growing up, people always looked at Kim as if he were a freak, and school was no better
One day, Kim was walking to his locker when he was jumped by several older students and had a muzzle forced on him
He ran home in tears, and that experience shaped his views on society forever, believing if people treat him like a monster, then that’s what they’ll get. That’s how he became Croc King
Max- Max (Because he’s too prideful to choose a villain name)
Max strived to always be the best, to always be number one when it came to academics. He was top of his class at his old school, won every science fair, and received many cash offers for his inventions
However, it wasn’t enough. Max wanted everyone everywhere to know he was the best, and what better way to do that than by taking over the world?
During one robotics fair at school, he seized control of everyone’s robots and launched an attack until the police soon arrived to put an end to it all
He was promptly arrested and placed in juvenile detention, but only for a few weeks before being transferred to Françoise DuPont’s and being put in the Villain Class, a quick fix thanks to his genius intellect and a careless security guard
Ivan- Venom Bringer
Born inside a dreadful prison in Russia, Ivan was sentenced from birth to serve time for his dead father’s protests against their totalitarian government
Ivan trained both his body and mind inside the prison walls and soon rose to the top of the prison food chain
The prison authorities, seeing this with their own eyes, forced him to become a test-subject for a new drug known as Venom. While it did increase Ivan’s strength ten-fold, it also made him incredibly violent
As such, he attacked every single guard, stole the rest of the Venom, freed his fellow inmates, and escaped all the way to Paris
Myléne- Nightmare Weaver
Myléne was always a shy girl, and the students at her old school would mess with her relentlessly for that. They’d purposefully scare her, ranging from fake insects in her locker to wearing the goriest of costumes and jumping out and scaring her on her way home
One guy even snuck into her room at night and chased her all around the house until she fell down her stairs. Myléne physically recovered, but not mentally
One afternoon, doing research in her school’s library, she discovered a recipe for a fast-acting fear toxin, which would make people hallucinate their greatest fear
Myléne spent a weeks perfecting the toxin, often testing it on her neighbors until she was sure it was perfected. And it worked like a charm as every student and teacher at her old school suffered from the effects. All except for her
Nathaniel- Colossus
Nathaniel, while being smart and an incredible artist, was always bullied relentlessly due to his shyness, height, and lack of muscle and any sort of strength by the students at his old school
He sought to end that once and for all. Staying in the school lab after hours for a couple of nights, he created a serum that increased his strength ten fold, and promptly injected himself with it
The next day at school, Nathaniel was confronted by his main tormentors, and surprised and scared everyone by fending off against them with almost inhuman strength
It didn’t stop there, and Nathaniel suddenly grew to twenty feet, towering over the panicking students and attacking each one who had played a part in bullying him until he was neutralized by the police with about a dozen tranquilizer darts
Alix- Caracal
When she was ten, her father, Alim Kubdel, took her and her brother, Jalil, on an expedition with him deep into the wilds of Africa to study an ancient artifact
You know, like family bonding
Things were going fine until one night, Alix was kidnapped and forced to participate in an ancient ritual that cursed and and transformed her into a human-cheetah hybrid with an insatiable appetite for meat
Alim and Jalil, unbothered by her new appearance, assured her that they would find a cure. However, one night, when they returned home, she took a bite out of her brother’s shoulder
Rose- Thorn
Rose always had a love for botany and perfumes. She always loved to make her own fragrances using plants from her garden
One morning, she found a strange herb growing among the foliage. It had a nice fragrance to it, so she dug it up, potted it, and made plans to study it so she could make a perfume out of it
But then one night, there was an accident in her bedroom/perfume lab, causing an explosion
The herb she had found spread fumes around her room as a result of the explosion, and when she inhaled those fumes, her anatomy changed, making her immune to all toxins and giving her control over all plant life
Juleka- Feline Shadow
Juleka spent most of her days in the shadows, going unnoticed by anyone at her old school and sometimes even at home
So, she used that to her advantage. Whenever walking through the halls, she’d pick everyone’s pockets, working her way up from cash to jewelry with a sleight of hand
She wasn’t stopping there, though, and she took part in a string of robberies all over the city while donning all black and slipping into homes and jewelry stores undetected… Until she was eventually caught and thrown into juvenile hall before being sent to Françoise DuPont and put in the Villains Class
Lila- Cerebral Queen
Lila was once a normal girl from Italy who enjoyed playing mind games on her fellow classmates at her old school all through clever lies, creating discord amongst the student body
However, one day, her lies caught up to her, and caused the students at her school to chase her down and exact their revenge
When she was cornered by the students, she suddenly awakened vast psychic powers that allowed her to control minds, project illusions, and use telepathy
She left her fellow students seeing all sorts of terrifying illusions, and went on to create more chaos until she was eventually captured and sent to Françoise DuPont

I think the reason I hate when certain Adrien stans say that Adrien should have lashed out and be angry at Marinette is because I've seen it done before...
In Adrien saltfics.
You wouldn't believe the amount of times I've seen salters write Adrien as an alpha male incel who would harass and abuse Marinette, to justify bashing him and writing Marinette as their salty self insert.
And it's ironic that this is the same mischaracterization that I've seen Adrien stans hate on in saltfics, but suddenly it's okay when it comes to bashing Marinette
