A couple of years ago, inspired by the urumi (Indian whip-sword carried wrapped around the waist), I made a Celtic-inspired swordbelt for an exhibition at my school. Since then, I had the itch to make a replica of the sword from #Xena, my fave series for decades, but I never found the time to do it. Then I came across  #WarriorNun and the cruciform sword was added to the list of projects. And then shit happened and, for various reasons, but above all for mental health, I closed commissions and decided, with the little free time I had left, to reconnect with my creativity. And, with my miraculous attendance at the Warrior Nun convention in London in February, my brain took it as a signal to get to work. As always when I set out on a project of my own, I took the opportunity to carry out some experiments that were burning in the back of my brain, and they've been a success, so I'm pretty happy with the result. I hope you like them too!

I made another choker!

This time it's very goth. And with cool claw spikes, chains and a big ring. Here's how I made it:

All the stuff I needed! Half of an old belt, my leatherwork tools, a hammer and the spikes! I measured out where I wanted everything and marked it with the end of a screwdriver. Then I lined everything up to see if I was satisfied with the design I thought up.

Punched the holes and added the screws! Then I attached the spikes, ring and chains.

Art Case Commissions

Hey everyone! I'm adding this art case to my commissions! If this looks like something you'd be interested in, feel free to pm me or send me an email.

The case is roughly 10"x7"x1". Please note it does NOT come with any art supplies.

I WILL REQUIRE HALF OF THE COST UP FRONT TO PAY FOR MATERIALS.

Prices below!

The basic case is $120. You can have your choice of outside cover color, straps/inner cover/thread color, and 4 different hardware colors (nickel, brass, antique brass, and black). This option does not come with any cover designs or a book.

If you wish to include a book with your order, you can add one for $20. Like with the case, you will have your choice of color for the book cover, whether you want decorative paper or bookcloth, and whether the book is filled with sketch paper or lined paper. The case is designed for the book to be removable, so you can replace it it once it's filled!

If you would like a custom cover design, you can add one for $15-$40, depending on complexity of the design and materials used.

Once your commission is complete, I will contact you with shipping options.

Three similar but very different pieces. One for a challenge, one for creativity and one for plain and pure fun. The emerald and gold d20 is in the hands of my friend Noelia, who wanted a bag with a nice marbled design but left all the creative decisions in my hands, trusting me blindly. The blue d12 was commissioned by Ana with very specific specifications: inspired by the game Coyote and crow, with the corporate colours and a specially designed typology. And the antique bronze d12 came about while watching my friend Capitán Yelmo playing a game with a very Ancient Roman aesthetic, and where I tested the viability of a semi-invisible half meat seam (with a satisfactory success). Three pieces that sum up very well my creative capacity starting from the (almost) same pattern.
