As you strolled down the familiar streets of your hometown, memories flooded back from your childhood. The laughter, the adventures, and the bond you shared with Christopher Bahng, the leader of Stray Kids, seemed like a distant yet cherished echo.
Christopher, or Chris as you fondly called him, had always been your partner in crime. From building makeshift forts in the backyard to dreaming about conquering the world with your talents, your friendship knew no bounds.
Years had passed since Chris left your small town to pursue his dreams in South Korea. The world had known him as a rising star, a beacon of talent and charisma leading Stray Kids to fame and success. But to you, he was still the same old Chris, the boy with endless dreams and an infectious smile.
You were lounging on your couch, scrolling through your phone when a message pops up.
Chris: Hey, you there?
You: Yeah, what's up?
Chris: I'm back in town for a break. Let's catch up over dinner tonight?
You: Definitely! It's been ages since we hung out. Where do you want to go?
Chris: How about that burger joint we used to love?
You: Sounds good! See you there at 7?
Chris: Perfect! Can't wait to see you!
You grin, excited to see Chris after so long. Memories of your mischievous adventures flood back as you head to the burger joint.
As you arrive, Chris is already there, leaning against the wall, looking as cool as ever.
"Hey, stranger!" you exclaim, approaching him.
He grins, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Hey, you! Long time no see."
You both settle into a booth, exchanging stories and laughing like old times.
"So, how's life as a K-pop star treating you?" you ask, taking a big bite of your burger.
Chris rolls his eyes playfully. "Oh, you know, the usual. Dance practices, fan meetings, and dodging crazy rumors."
You chuckle. "Must be tough being an international heartthrob."
He shrugs. "Eh, someone's gotta do it."
Throughout dinner, you reminisce about your childhood antics, from building forts to pulling pranks on neighbors.
"Remember the time we tried to skateboard down that steep hill and ended up in the bushes?" Chris laughs, shaking his head.
"How could I forget? We were lucky we didn't break any bones," you reply, laughing along.
As the night wears on, you realize how much you've missed Chris's company. Despite his fame, he's still the same goofball you grew up with.
During dinner, in between bites of burgers and sips of soda, Chris leans in and asks about your life.
"So, what have you been up to, besides stalking me on social media?" he teases, a playful glint in his eyes.
You chuckle, taking a sip of your drink before replying, "Oh, you know, the usual grind. Work, family stuff, trying not to embarrass myself too much."
Chris nods, genuinely interested. "How's work treating you?"
You shrug. "It's been busy, but I can't complain. Pays the bills, you know."
He nods sympathetically before his expression brightens with curiosity. "And what about your family? How's everyone doing?"
You smile, glad to share. "They're good, thanks for asking. Mom's still the same old mom, doting on everyone. Dad's busy with his projects, and my sister's off on her own adventures."
Chris nods along, listening intently. Then, with a mischievous twinkle in his eye, he leans in a little closer. "So, any special someone in your life? Or are you still single and ready to mingle?"
You roll your eyes, but there's a hint of laughter in your voice. "Oh, you know me, Chris. Still navigating the treacherous waters of singledom."
He laughs, giving you a knowing look. "Well, if you ever need a wingman, you know who to call."
You both share a laugh, the easy banter flowing between you like it always has.
As the conversation continues over dinner, you can't help but inquire about Chris's fellow Stray Kids members.
"So, how are your kids?" you ask, genuinely interested in catching up on his bandmates.
Chris's eyes light up as he talks about each member, sharing anecdotes and updates about their lives and careers. He laughs as he recounts their latest shenanigans during practice and on tour, painting a vivid picture of the bond they share.
"They're all doing great, still causing chaos wherever they go," he chuckles, a fondness evident in his voice.
Then, with a playful smirk, you decide to turn the tables on him. "So, Chris," you begin, raising an eyebrow playfully, "what's the deal with you? Any lucky lady catching your eye these days, or are you still playing the field?"
Chris chuckles, running a hand through his hair before settling back in his seat. "Ah, the eternal question," he quips, a hint of mischief dancing in his eyes. "As for my relationship status, let's just say I'm enjoying the single life for now."
You nod, understanding his stance. Being in the spotlight can undoubtedly complicate matters when it comes to romance.
"And what about all that flirting with fans?" you prod, unable to resist teasing him a bit. "Are you just a professional heartthrob, or is there more to it than meets the eye?"
Chris laughs, his grin widening. "Ah, you caught me," he admits, his tone light but genuine. "Flirting with fans is all part of the game, you know. It's about connecting with them, making them feel special. But at the end of the day, it's all in good fun."
You nod, appreciating his honesty. Being a K-pop idol comes with its own set of rules and expectations, after all.
As the night wears on, you continue to chat, trading stories and laughter until the restaurant begins to empty out around you. Despite the fame and the distance that separates you, tonight feels like old times, a reminder of the enduring bond you share with Chris, your childhood friend turned international superstar.
You and Chris make your way back home after dinner, laughter echoing through the streets, you can't help but marvel at the unexpected turn of events. The rain pours down relentlessly, catching you both off guard, but instead of seeking shelter, you find yourselves caught up in the moment, running through the streets like characters in a romance movie.
"This is insane!" you shout over the sound of the rain, unable to contain your laughter as you splash through puddles.
Chris grins, his eyes alight with exhilaration. "I know, right? Who knew we'd end up in the middle of a monsoon?"
You exchange glances, the sheer absurdity of the situation only adding to the sense of adventure. With each step, the rain pelts down harder, soaking you both to the bone, but neither of you cares. In this moment, nothing else matters except the sheer joy of being alive, of feeling the rain on your skin and the thrill of the unexpected.
As you round a corner, a small awning comes into view, offering temporary refuge from the storm. Without hesitation, you both dart beneath it, breathless and exhilarated, the adrenaline coursing through your veins.
"Wow, that was intense," you gasp, trying to catch your breath as you lean against the wall.
Chris nods, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "Tell me about it. Remind me to check the weather forecast next time we decide to go out for dinner."
You both burst into laughter, the shared moment bonding you even closer together. And as you stand there, drenched but deliriously happy, you can't help but feel grateful for the simple joys of friendship and spontaneity.
Chris chuckles, his laughter mingling with the sound of raindrops. "Well, you know what they say about spontaneity."
"Yeah, it definitely keeps life interesting," you reply, glancing up at the darkened sky above.
You glance up at Chris, his features illuminated by the soft glow of the streetlights, and for a moment, time seems to stand still. His eyes meet yours, sparking with an intensity you've never seen before, and in that moment, everything else fades away.
Feeling emboldened by the electric energy between you, you reach out and take Chris's hand, the warmth of his touch sending a shiver down your spine. Without a word, you continue running through the empty streets, the raindrops falling around you like a symphony of whispers.
As you round a corner, a small square comes into view, the cobblestones slick with rain. The soft strains of music drift through the air, beckoning you closer. With a smile tugging at the corners of your lips, you stop and turn to face Chris.
"Hey, do you want to dance with me?" you ask, your voice barely above a whisper.
Chris's eyes widen in surprise, his gaze flickering with uncertainty. But then, a slow smile spreads across his face, and he nods, his hand tightening around yours.
"Absolutely," he replies, his voice low and husky.
Together, you step onto the rain-soaked cobblestones, the world around you fading into a blur of colors and sounds. In this moment, there is only the two of you, moving in perfect harmony to the rhythm of the rain.
As you stand there, laughing, dancing, and soaked to the bone, you can feel the weight of his gaze, the unspoken tension hanging between you like a delicate thread. The air crackles with anticipation, charged with a magnetic energy that draws you closer together with every passing moment.
And then, in a bold and unexpected move, Chris reaches out, his hand finding yours with a gentle urgency. The warmth of his touch sends a jolt of electricity coursing through your veins, igniting a fire that burns brighter with each heartbeat.
With a wordless understanding, he draws you closer, his body pressed against yours in a dance as old as time. The rain falls around you, a steady rhythm punctuating the silence as you move together in perfect harmony.
His touch is electric, sending shivers racing down your spine as you lose yourself in the heat of the moment. Time seems to stand still as you surrender to the pull of desire, your heart beating in time with his, as you drown in the depths of his gaze.
In that moment, with the rain falling around you and the world spinning madly on, Chris leans in and kisses you. It's not a fleeting touch or a casual gesture – it's a declaration, a moment of raw and unbridled passion that leaves you breathless and wanting more.
His kiss is electric, sending shockwaves coursing through your body as you surrender to the intensity of the moment. Every brush of his lips against yours sets your heart ablaze, igniting a flame that burns brighter with each passing second.
In that stolen moment beneath the stormy sky, you lose yourself in the intoxicating rush of sensation, your senses overwhelmed by the taste of rain and the feel of his touch. It's a moment suspended in time, a glimpse into a world where passion reigns supreme and love knows no bounds.
As the rain continues to fall around you, you cling to each other, lost in the dizzying whirlwind of emotion. And in that moment, with Chris's lips pressed against yours, you know that you've found something worth holding onto, something worth cherishing for eternity.
You both break from the kiss, a shared breathless moment passing between you as you gaze into each other's eyes. The rain continues to fall, a gentle cadence echoing the pounding of your hearts.
Chris's voice breaks the silence, soft but filled with emotion. "Wow," he breathes, his eyes searching yours as if trying to unravel the depths of your soul.
You smile, feeling a rush of warmth and affection wash over you. "Yeah," you reply, your voice barely above a whisper. "Wow indeed."
There's a tangible energy between you, a connection that defies explanation. It's as if the universe itself has conspired to bring you together in this moment, under the cloak of a stormy sky.
Chris reaches out, his hand finding yours with a tenderness that takes your breath away. "I... I didn't plan for any of this," he admits, his voice tinged with vulnerability.
You squeeze his hand gently, reassuring him with a smile. "Me neither," you confess, feeling the weight of the moment settle between you like a comforting embrace.
For a moment, you simply stand there, lost in each other's gaze, the world fading away around you. In this moment, there are no expectations, no uncertainties – only the shared promise of what could be.
And as you stand there, hand in hand, you know that no matter what the future may hold, you'll face it together, bound by the unbreakable bond of love and possibility.
You can't help but let out a nervous laugh, the tension of the moment giving way to a lightheartedness that feels like a balm to your soul.
You shake your head, still incredulous at the whirlwind of emotions that brought you to this moment. "Who would've thought a rainy night and an life update dinner would lead to... this," you say, gesturing between the two of you with a mixture of disbelief and affection.
Chris smiles, his gaze softening as he looks at you. "Sometimes, life has a way of surprising us when we least expect it," he muses, his tone thoughtful.
You nod in agreement, feeling a sense of gratitude wash over you. "Yeah, I guess it does," you reply, your heart filled with a newfound sense of hope and possibility.
As you stand there, sharing a moment of levity in the midst of the storm, you realize that sometimes, the most beautiful connections are forged in the unlikeliest of circumstances.
Chris breaks the moment with a nervous laugh, his cheeks tinted with a rosy hue. "Um, so... I guess I should probably.. you know.. say something here, huh?"
You chuckle, feeling the warmth of his hand in yours. "Go on, Chris. Lay it on me."
He takes a deep breath, his expression earnest yet endearingly shy. "Okay, here goes. I... I've always admired you, you know? From the moment we met as kids, you've been this constant presence in my life. And tonight, being here with you, dancing in the rain... it just feels right."
Your heart swells at his words, touched by the sincerity in his confession. "Chris, that's... that's really sweet," you reply, unable to suppress the smile that tugs at your lips. "I have to admit, I've always had a soft spot for you too."
He blinks, surprise evident in his eyes. "Wait, really?"
You nod, feeling a surge of courage wash over you. "Yeah, really. I mean, who else would I want to dance in the rain with?"
Chris's laughter fills the air, a melody of joy and relief. "Well, in that case, I guess we're both pretty lucky, huh?"
You nod, feeling a sense of lightness settle over you. "Yeah, I'd say we are."
And as the rain continues to fall around you, you both stand there, hand in hand, sharing a moment of laughter and connection that you know will stay with you long after the storm has passed.

Do you know any fics similar to The Mating Privilege or I Don’t Like the Way She’s Looking at You? Just some stories where Derek isn’t the *best* mate/bf/husband etc or they have to pretend to not be together and ends up with stiles feeling neglected or ignored.
I’ve also read “how I long for yesterday” and “worth it” for those that want something similar but not quite what I’m looking for!
First of all. "How I Long for Yesterday" is my fic. So this made my day.

How I Long For Yesterday by sweetbutterbliss
(1/1 I 6,017 I Mature I Sterek)
Stiles blinks, his throat going dry, and he moves his thumb without thinking - liking the post. He feels a surge of petty satisfaction. At least the fucker will know he knows now. He stands up, his body feeling too heavy, and he blows out the already guttering candles. He lets out a sob of frustration when the last one won’t fucking blow out. But he sucks it back in and bites down on his tongue, using his thumb and forefinger instead. He throws himself into their empty bed without undressing. He lies there repeating the words ‘Derek blew me off for Isaac’ over and over. He tells himself to shut up while rearranging his pillow violently, but he goes to sleep with the refrain continuing its painful loop.
Worth It by dragneels
(1/1 I 1,670 I General I Sterek)
He hadn’t thought even for a second, instincts roaring, and jumped in front of Derek, taking the blow. And then he got lost in the darkness. also known as the "stiles telling derek that he's worth everything" fic no one asked for

As the seconds tick by by Halevetica
(1/1 I 3,972 I Not Rated)
When Derek picks up a new contract, he starts showing up late and missing important dates making Stiles feel unimportant. Derek is sure the contract is worth it, but Stiles doesn't understand why.
I'm Torn Do I Stay Do I Go by Adaline_Stilinski
(2/2 I 6,963 I General)
Derek had been focusing on making alliances with other packs around Beacon Hills to protect his pack but in doing so he started to neglect Stiles and there relationship. Stiles get's sick of it and decided to leave for some time apart is it going to help be like the stories Stiles reads and write about how distance makes love grow or will they both realise that there better apart. Will tragedy bring them together
Aberration by JackalPinesOfHouseEvergreen
(11/? I 29,415 I Teen)
Derek is a hot-shot lawyer who is very focused on his work. Stiles is his loving husband who does his best to fit into Derek's high-class family. He's hit some major roadblocks though. He feels neglected and unloved, and worse when Derek ditches him at his own family's parties which leave him humiliated as he tries to appear like their marriage isn't failing.
As an old member comes during some important werewolf ceremony to stir the pot, Derek's relationship with his family and Stiles is tested more than ever. Derek's world has been rocked and turned upside down.
And Stiles? Stiles is trying to find out who he is in the absence of the one he loves. As much as he believes in Derek and in their relationship, Stiles needs to find his self-worth that got lost along the way. Remember the fire he had inside of him as he got in the face of those that looked down at him, the fierceness of his intelligence that made others fear and respect him. Remember how fun life was...
Derek and Stiles drift a bit as Derek realizes he has to woo Stiles again, because he will not risk losing the love of his life. Not again.
The Mating Privilege by Kikileduc
(12/12 I 35,380 I Mature)
Stiles and Derek have been happily mated. The pack is doing well, but in hopes of creating alliances for it to do better, Derek accepts a neighboring pack's request to allow two wolves to join the Hale-McCall pack for a full moon cycle. They hope to form a blood-tie, or at least a long term friendship between the two packs. The issue is Kohona, the tribal leader's daughter, has her eyes set on an unavailable alpha wolf. This could have drastic consequences for their young emissary, however...
Til We Ain't Strangers Anymore by WriteByNight
(7/7 I 35,994 I Explicit)
Stiles should've expected Derek to suddenly disappear since the werewolf was in the habit of taking off without notice. However, Derek always showed up when they needed him.
As the weeks pass by, Stiles is no longer confused and a little hurt. What started as heartache begins to get worse the longer Stiles goes without seeing Derek. Eventually, his body begins to shut down and his only hope seems to be Derek...but nobody can find him.
There's no cure for a broken heart. Except, maybe, the cause for the broken heart himself.
- - -
Or the one where Derek takes off without warning and Stiles finds out he could be Derek's mate and the distance between Derek and Stiles, along with Derek's refusal to develop the bond, is slowly killing Stiles. Without Derek, Stiles will die, but no one knows where he is or how to contact him. And Stiles is barely keeping it together.

Do you get annoyed when people say the Sterek fandom is dead? Well, prove them wrong by reblogging this fresh new rec list of fics published in the past three years!
Pulling Strings by Gia279 54k words, M
Stiles and Derek pull off the ultimate game of survival charades: fooling the alpha pack into thinking their leader, alpha of alphas, demon wolf Deucalion himself, is still alive, in order to find the location of the Darach and save Beacon Hills and their pack, while Stiles learns to control this brand new, unusual power.
The Curse of the Love Sweater by HisBeloved 56k words, E
The "sweater curse" or "curse of the love sweater" is a term used by knitters to describe the belief that if a knitter gives a hand-knit sweater to a significant other, it will lead to the recipient breaking up with the knitter. When Stiles and Derek were children, a misunderstanding created a rift between Claudia Stilinski, owner of The Hale Yarn Company, and Talia Hale, the best knitter and spinner in the county, leading to the opening of Lucky Ewe, Claudia Stilinski's yarn store. Stiles and Derek have been lifelong competitors at the Beacon County Fair and after their mothers died, became owners of competing yarn shops. Derek is a budding knitwear designer on the eve of the release of his first book of patterns. Stiles wants him on his popular knitting YouTube show despite the decade-long feud between the Stilinski's and Hales. Hijinks, fluff, and ridiculousness ensue, and the boys get their happy ending.
Don't they know it's the end of the world? by flemoncake, mute90 20k words, M
Stiles thought being in love in a dangerous, post-apocalyptic world was a bad idea. He voted for pleasant, casual sex all the way. But being afraid of love doesn't stop it from coming after you. Being afraid doesn’t stop anything from coming after you.
love in suspension by creationmyth 6k words, T
They walk side by side back to the camaro, Derek’s all tensed up while Stiles hums some unnamable tune under his breath. When they finally break the treeline, Stiles pulls Derek by the arm so they’re face to face. “Thank you,” Stiles tells him quietly, making sure Derek knows he’s sincere. “It’s what we do.” It is. It really is. (or: Stiles and Derek learn, over time, how loyalty becomes love.)
ouroboros (get it right) by yesimirreputable 5k words, M
You try again, and the story's always the same: you never make it past eighteen.
a light and darkness in the heart of the forest by thedaughterofkings 10k words, T
There's a beast in the forest, they say. If you call to it, it will answer. To save his mom, Stiles will face up to it and hope the price won't be higher than the reward.
nothing but hope and virtue by dappledawndrawn, LeafZelindor 60k words, T
Senator Derek Hale, a California Democrat, had considered a future where he needed to hire a new campaign manager. He'd always expected to hire someone from inside the campaign. They'd have been familiar, respectful, come into his office carefully, with nervous excitement, and called him "sir" too much when asking for their first assignment. They'd have been familiar with the ins and outs of working with a werewolf pack, and everything would have been fine. Not great, maybe, but fine. But instead, Deaton retires with no warning, and almost sight-unseen, he hires Stiles Stilinksi, who is sprawled across his office couch, entering random contacts from Derek's Rolodex into his phone. Derek's a little in love with him. It's going to be a long campaign.
Fairy Wings and Beastly Tails by Bliz, PalenDrome (nerdherderette) 8k words, T
The prince knows it’s risky. He thinks about how he could manage without his wings; what his life would be like without flying or the ability to do spells. He thinks about his father and Scott, and all the others he’d leave behind if he fails. But then he thinks about the creature and the sadness in those green eyes, and how the image haunts his dreams. “I’ll do it,” he says as the Oak Witch’s grin grows wide.
Bite the Moonlight & Bleed Gold by raisesomehale 86k words, E
Seven years after being tricked and imprisoned by the Argents, Derek Hale finds himself off the blistering coasts of Antarctica aboard the Argentum Domina, an illegal prison ship out of which the Argents operate their behemoth, underground poaching empire. Bitter and packless, Derek spends his days working off his servitude by poaching creatures for Gerard to sell on the Black Magic Market, no future or end in sight. Until, Allison Argent brings him a capture case with a reward price so ludicrous that he has no choice but to accept. The only problem is, the target creature shouldn't even exist. Derek is flung fast into the deep webbings of a bigger mystery than he could have ever imagined. And discovers that, like this enchanting creature, not everything is as it seems.
My Soul to Keep by jacyevans, Jmeelee 18k words, T
Stiles came with a whiteboard, and blue dry erase marker, flapping it over his head like a white flag on a battlefield. "Come on," he coaxed. "You must want to say something. You've never gone this long without telling me to shut up." He waggled the marker in Derek's face. Stinging alcohol and pungent polymer singed Derek's nose hairs. His fingers itched to pick up the board, and not because he wanted to tell Stiles to be quiet. He enjoyed the babble that filled the apartment every few days, the hearty food, Stiles' particular, reassuring smell: maple sugar buzz, spicy-sweet deodorant, milk-sour frustration, floral shampoo, and spring grass at night. It soaked into Derek's couch, his bed, his skull. If any of it were real, Derek would take the board and write: thank you.
A Functioning Adult’s Field Guide to Enemies With Benefits by BisexualGoblin (LadyBoBo) 31k words, E
The six years Stiles was away for college, he certainly missed a lot—namely the whole best friend turned into a werewolf thing. But he didn’t think he missed enough to get replaced by a douche bag like Derek Hale. Now with Scott’s wedding looming, it’s the perfect chance for Stiles to show Derek who the real brains of the operation is. If only he could stop jumping into bed with him…
Let's build a beehive by GreyHaven 25k words, G
Ten years after he last saw Derek, Stiles' life is in ruins and he has nowhere else to turn. He has Derek's address but will he be welcomed? A post canon AU about healing, growth, acceptance, and love.
Handstands For You by Fenris13 15k words, E
"No, really, you don't have to—!" Stiles hisses, flinching as Derek rubs soap with needless intensity into the cut. "Shut up and keep still," Derek growls back. Stiles whines in response, squirming in Derek’s grip but otherwise following the order. Stupid werewolves and their stupid regeneratey-healy powers. It’s not Stiles’ fault that he’s wimpy and human, so when he gets thrown down a flight of stairs and through a rotten wooden wall by lake monsters, he still remembers it the next morning.
Shaking the wings of their terrible youths by Daisyapples 29k words, N/r
Stiles didn't expect much when he stopped a stranger being attacked in an alleyway. He didn't expect the wolf following him around New York, didn't expect the help when he was sick, didn't expect the psycho blond attacking him, or the place to stay. He didn't expect the new family. Oh, and he definitely didn't expect werewolves.
Dear Fellow Traveler by lanalua (this is me!) 32k words, M
Years after shit went down in Beacon Hills a traumatized Stiles is dating Lydia and living in New York, trying to avoid and get over anything related to the supernatural. When he finally decides to go back to his hometown and face his fears, he will be lead down a path of self-discovery that will change the course he had set for his life. Stiles shook his head. It wasn’t that he didn’t believe Derek, it was just that he couldn’t. If he’d had magic the whole time, did it mean he could have been less useless back in highschool? Did it mean he could have helped, maybe kept Erica and Boyd alive? Kept Derek and Scott from leaving? It was too much. Guilt tore through his stomach like an arrow. He felt himself start to hyperventilate again.
As always, check the tags in individual fics to find out if they're right for you, and don't forget to leave the authors some love!

Favorite Niece
Derek Hale x Fem!Argent!reader
Other Characters: Kate Argent, Allison Argent (mentioned), McCall Pack (mentioned)
Warnings: cannon level violence, but nothing too bad, Derek tied up, slight S1E11 spoilers
Summary: She is the older sister of Allison Argent and, unlike her sister, knows all about the supernatural world. What happens when her aunt visits and happens to capture her boyfriend?
Word count: 1,650
My family was well known in the hunter community. Each member was trained either as a hunter, or a leader. My mother was the leader in our family, until time came for me or my little sister to take her place. Allison and I had just moved to Beacon Hills with our parents. She was a sophomore while I was a few months away from finishing my senior year. My little sister still didn’t know too much about the supernatural world we lived in, but me, my aunt Kate had been teaching and mentoring me for years.
She saw the world in a much different light than I did though. She believed that anything supernatural should be killed, while I, on the other hand, thought that those living in peace and protecting their own people and spaces shouldn’t be put down.
When we first moved here, I met Derek Hale while out in the woods, practicing my knife throwing. He had stopped running when he heard my frustrated yells and curses, coming over to investigate and make sure no one was hurt. We were instantly drawn together, neither of us wanting to stay away from each other for more than a few hours. The fact that I came from a family of hunters was one of the first topics that came up when we first got together. When I assured him that I saw the world in a vastly different way than my family, he and I became inseparable.
Everyone in the hunting world knew the Hale’s, and their story. I didn’t want to believe that someone could be horrible enough to trap a family in their house and let them burn. But when Derek opened up and told me about the night of the fire, about the pain he went through after losing his entire family, I swore off hunting completely.
Now, we had been together for nearly half a year, and when my aunt Kate came into town to visit, Derek and I had to keep things even quieter than usual. Scott and Stiles both knew Derek and I were together, but we had them keep things to themselves when my baby sister began hanging around with the three of us and Derek.
“Hi there my beautiful niece.” Kate smiled widely as she came into my room. I set my notebook down and turned around in my chair, making sure my phone was face down so she couldn’t see my messages.
“Hey Aunt Kate.” I smiled back at her, hoping she couldn’t feel my anxiety rolling off my body in heavy waves. I hadn’t been able to get a hold of Derek for hours, and with the small group of hunters in town, I was overly nervous.
“You at a good place for a break?” She nodded back to my homework. “I wanna show you something.”
“Umm.” I closed my laptop after saving my English report. “Yeah, I can stop for the night.” I slipped my boots on and grabbed by burnt orange sweater as I followed her out the front door. “Mom, dad, Aunt Kate is kidnapping me for the night. Love you!” I yelled back into the house before getting in the car. “So, where are we going?”
“I have a surprise for you.” She had been teaching me more and more about the hunting world as I had been trying to keep her off my back with my relationship with Derek. “You’ve been making so much progress in your training with me. I can’t believe how quickly you picked up knife throwing, and I swear you’re a natural shooter, so I thought I would surprise you with a very easy first hunt.”
My blood ran cold, and it felt like my heart stopped beating. “What do you mean? You know how I feel about hunting.”
Kate rolled her eyes. “I know, but you’ll have to get over it eventually. What if something comes after your baby sister one day?” Threatening Allison like that made my entire body freeze. She knew how protective I was over my little sister, how I’d do anything to keep her safe and out of the hunting world if I could. My dad had just started teaching Allison the basics, so the thought of her being thrown into hunting like I was scared the hell out of me. “You need to know how to protect yourself and your sister.”
She opened her door and got out of the car. When did we stop? “Where are we?” I followed behind her, not being able to see much as we wondered through the darkness, only to stop in the basement of what I recognized to be the Hale house. “Aunt Kate?” My heart was pounding as I followed her farther into the basement, only to come to a room with Derek chained up to a metal frame, wires connecting the metal to the circuit box on the wall, my curious eyes widening in shock and fear.
“Surprise!” She gave me a wide grin and held her arms to her side, effectively making Derek jump awake and his eyes land on my face. “What better way to kick off your hunting life than to take out one of the most famous werewolves in Beacon Hills?”
My breathing was a bit heavier as I stared at Derek. His side was bandaged up, the wires of the circuit box disappearing under the black tape, and he looked like he hadn’t sept in days. I knew Kate had been torturing him, probably sending too much electricity through his body as her way of getting him to talk and not letting him heal properly. “You...you want me to kill Derek Hale?” I looked at my aunt like she was crazy.
“Yes!” She wrapped an arm around my shoulders and dragged me closer to the werewolf. Derek bared his teeth and growled at my aunt. “See, he’s just so feisty.” She didn’t know he was trying to protect me, not himself.
“Derek?” My voice was soft, my aunt taking it as disbelief, not my fear for his life. “I can’t do this. He never did anything to me.”
Kate rolled her eyes at me, dropping her arm and going over to the circuit switch. “Sure, you can. You just have to take the first few steps.” I hadn’t taken my eyes off of his, until I heard a small click, and Derek tensed up in pain, a loud roar tearing through his chest.
“No, no, Aunt Kate, stop! Stop!” I shrieked, running over to her table, and flipping the switch off. Derek relaxed back against the metal wall, a breath of relief falling from his lips. “Stop.”
“Oh, come on sweetheart, he’s a monster. Our family, we hunt them down to make sure they won’t ever hurt anyone.” My eyes were wide as I stared at Derek, his bare chest heaving as he took in all the air he could before my aunt would turn the machine back on.
“He hasn’t hurt anyone though.”
“But he will!” Her voice was getting louder and louder, almost yelling at me. “You need to understand that werewolves are dangerous and need to be put down.”
I was silent for what felt like hours, both Kate and Derek looking at me, waiting for my answer. “Ok.” I sighed. “You want me to kill him, fine. But I don’t want you breathing down my neck telling me I’m doing something wrong. Go wait in the car.” I had to convince her that I would go through with it. My fingers trailed over the black handgun sitting beside the machine on the table, slightly trembling. “Please, just let me do this my way.”
A proud smile covered her face as my eyes dropped to the ground. “Alright! I knew you were my favorite niece for a reason.” She clapped her hands together. “I’ll see you outside in twenty minutes.” Kate turned and walked out of the house. I didn’t move until I heard the car door shut behind her, then I moved quickly up to Derek’s side.
“Derek?” I placed my hands on his cheeks, turning his face to look at me. “Look at me, please.”
“Why? You wanna look into my eyes as you kill me? I knew it wasn’t real.” The pain in his words broke my heart.
My eyes filled with tears and I held onto his cheeks just a bit tighter. “Derek, I am nothing like my aunt. She is crazy and thinks anything supernatural should be killed. I can’t do that. I could never do that, especially not to you. I sent her out so I could get you free, so I could save you.” My hands smoothed down his sweaty hair. “Please, Derek, you gotta believe me. I could never hurt you.”
“You do this, and it’s not just Kate that will come after you. It’s all her hunter friends, your mom and dad, maybe even your sister someday. You’re ok with that?” His eyes locked on mine, listening to my heart for a change in pace.
“For you?” I smiled softly, resting my head against his. “Anything.” He leaned forward, pressing a searing kiss to my lips before I pulled away. “You see a key?”
He rolled his eyes. “Move.” I listened to his order, stepping back, and watching his movements carefully. Derek planted his feet, balled his hands into fists, and threw his arms forward, snapping the metal cuffs off his wrists and tearing the black bandage from his side. “Now let’s get out of here.”
“Just a second.” My feet carried me up in front of him, my hands resting around his neck as I pulled him down for another kiss. His arms came to wrap around me, pulling me closer to his chest for a moment before leaning back and taking my hand in his. “You scared the hell out of me.”
A car door slammed outside the old Hale house. “We need to go.”

The Teen wolf movie you deserve:
TEEN WOLF THE MOVIE: part 1
Derek and his son are living in a world where it’s no longer safe to be a supernatural being. Hunters are far more aggressive and more advanced than before, especially after the mysterious disappearance of Scott McCall, and are willing to hunt down and kill anything associated with the supernatural. Hiding their abilities is a struggle that only gets harder as Eli gets older.
Tumblr media
Derek tries his best to keep his sons power under control as they’re beginning to manifest in unusual ways. (There are obviously mutations in the werewolf community like Ethan and Aiden and kali so maybe Eli could have some unique things going on with him) But things are hard when your snarky and emotionally detached son is going through a rebellious stage in his life as a werewolf.
Meanwhile in Beacon Hills, surprise surprise, a monster escapes Eichen House and begins psychically terrorizing the town.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Creature is known as the Sluagh. It appeared in one episode of the show and was never shown again. The movie could easily give it more abilities such as the ability to cast illusions and cause insanity. It would also be as strong and as powerful as a werewolf.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
As it turns out though, the creature was actually let loose by an expert hunter who has made a reputation for wiping out various supernaturals throughout the years. He now wants to add another to the list. The Sluagh is just something he’s using to fish this creature out.
The sherif asks Deaton and his assistant emissary in training, Mason, to investigate the strange happenings around town. After a nasty run in with the Sluagh, Deaton calls Liam for help. Liam has basically taken up Scott’s mantle after his mysterious disappearance and has been Deaton’s supernatural backup ever since.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The people of beacon hills slowly begin to go insane. Either laughing maniacally while hurting others or by other things like dying in their sleep or suicide. The Hunters have also began to feel the power of the Sluagh, but their leader has become too obsessed with his current hunt that all forms of caution are seen as rebellion and kills those who question him.
Back at Derek’s, Strange looks from unfamiliar faces and whispers leads him to suspect that he’s been found out by hunters and he and his son are no longer safe. Unfortunately for him, Eli has snuck off to a party. After temporarily losing control and being forced to leave the party, Hunters track and ambush the place.
Eli attempts to go back and help but Derek makes it there in time to rescue his son and retreats home to pack their bags and leave town
Tumblr media
As Derek and Eli argue, hunters ambush the house. Derek is horribly injured and presumed dead while Eli is kidnapped. Before blacking out, Derek hear’s a hunter mention returning to Beacon Hills. After regaining consciousness, Derek calls Argent, who’s vacationing in Paris with Malissa, for help. Argent is hesitant, stating that he’s officially retired. After begging for his help, Argent gives in and tells him that he and an old friend will be there as soon as possible.

game changer — isaac lahey x reader

˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚
synopsis: in isaac's eyes, there was room for only one star player on the field, and it had to be him
✧.*
the sun hung low in the sky, casting long shadows across the beacon hills high school lacrosse field. you adjusted your gloves, gripping your lacrosse stick with a determined look. on the other end of the field, scott mccall, your loyal friend and pack leader, crouched with an equally determined expression. “ready to go?” scott called out, his brown eyes gleaming with a playful glint. you smirked, twirling your stick. “always.”
the two of you had been training like this for weeks, using your unique circumstances as both a werewolf and a skilled lacrosse player to improve both of your abilities. the goal was simple: you'd fire shots at scott, and he would do his best to block them using his reflexes. it was a friendly competition, a way to make use of your supernatural traits for fun and growth.
as the whistle blew, you dashed forward, weaving through the field with agility. with each shot, you aimed with precision, testing scott's speed and accuracy. to your satisfaction, every ball you launched found its way past him and into the net.
amid the sound of pounding footsteps and the swish of the net, you caught sight of isaac lahey watching from the sidelines. his arms were crossed over his chest, a scowl etched on his face. he'd joined the team recently, and his competitive spirit was clear in the way he observed your practice. you weren't on the team, thankfully, but knowing you had more skill than he did, werewolf or not, irkee him.
after the training session, you caught your breath and wiped the sweat from your brow. scott approached you, a grin tugging at his lips. “you're getting really good at this, you know.“
“practice makes perfect,” you replied with a shrug, though a sense of accomplishment warmed your chest.
isaac strode over, his expression tense as he looked between you and scott. “impressive shots, (y/n). but i'm guessing there's more to it than just practice.” you raised an eyebrow at him, not missing the hint of challenge in his tone. “and what makes you say that?”
isaac's eyes flickered to scott before returning to you. “you've got some secret for controlling your abilities, don't you? i've seen enough to know that much.”
you smirked, a spark of amusement dancing in your eyes. “maybe i'm just a natural.”
Isaac's jaw clenched, his frustration palpable. “just because we're in the same pack doesn't mean i won't hit you. i wanna know your secret.” you leaned in closer, your gaze locked onto his. “and why would i tell you?”
“because we're on the same team,” isaac retorted, his voice low and intense. “actually, i'm on the team. unlike you. i wonder why that is.”
you chuckled, a hint of mockery in your tone. "“so, what? you want me to give you a tutorial on how to be a better werewolf?”
“something like that,” Isaac replied through gritted teeth.
you let out a soft laugh, shaking your head. “sorry, lahey. have fun with your school's losing streak.” isaac's nostrils flared, and his fists clenched at his sides. “we'll see about that.”
isaac's departure left a trail of unresolved tension hanging in the air, but you pushed it aside for the moment. scott's voice pulled you from your thoughts as he approached, a knowing smile playing on his lips. “he's got a fire in him, doesn't he?” he mused, his gaze following isaac's retreating figure. you chuckled softly, rolling your eyes. “more like a burning obsession to know everything.”
scott laughed, clapping you on the shoulder. “well, if there's anyone who can handle his curiosity, it's you.”
“thanks, i think,” you replied with a grin.
scott's expression turned more serious. “you know, we could really use someone like you on the team. if finstock knew just how good you are—”
you raised an eyebrow, skepticism lacing your voice. “finstock? you really think he'd let a girl on the team?” scott's gaze held a mixture of determination and hope. “i've seen you play, (y/n). you're as good as any guy out there, maybe even better. and finstock can't argue with results.”
you considered his words, the idea taking root in your mind. it was true that you had always been passionate about lacrosse, and your supernatural abilities only added an extra edge to your skills. the prospect of joining the team officially was both intriguing and tempting.
“i'm not sure about this, scott,” you admitted, uncertainty in your voice. "i'm used to the taunts and the doubt." scott's grin widened. “maybe it's time to show them all what you're made of?”
you nodded slowly, a determined fire igniting within you. “maybe it is.”
as you headed off the field with scott, your thoughts were a whirlwind of possibilities. if you could prove yourself to coach finstock, if you could overcome the stereotypes and expectations, you might just change the game.
the anticipation hung heavy in the air as you stood just outside the boys' locker room, your heartbeat resonating like a drum in your chest. scott, your unwavering supporter, stood beside you with an encouraging grin. his hand rested on your shoulder, offering a silent reassurance that you could do this.
“ready for this?” he asked, his voice carrying a mix of excitement and amusement.
you took a deep breath, nerves and determination intertwining. “as ready as I'll ever be.”
with a knowing nod, scott pushed open the locker room door, and the clamor of voices abruptly hushed as you stepped in, immediately drawing everyone's attention. their gazes flickered between you and scott, a mixture of surprise and confusion on their faces.
“guys, i've got someone here who wants to join the team,” scott announced with a grin, his eyes meeting yours briefly before he addressed the others. “you all know (y/n).” a ripple of incredulous laughter swept through the room, a few snorts of disbelief mixed in. you held your head high, refusing to let their skepticism weaken your resolve.
“is this a joke?” one of the players, you had recognized as jackson, muttered, earning a chorus of chuckles.
your jaw tightened, but you forced a smile. “no joke. your team kinda sucks.”
another round of laughter echoed, but scott's amused glance conveyed his confidence in you. with a nod from him, he led the way out to the field, and you followed, the weight of their stares burning into your back. the open expanse of the lacrosse field stretched out before you, the grass vibrant beneath the setting sun. coach finstock, leaning against the goalpost, raised an eyebrow as he glanced between scott and you.
“alright, mccall, what's this all about?” finstock demanded, his tone a mix of irritation and curiosity.
“we've got a new recruit who wants to give it a shot,” scott replied, his grin unyielding.
finstock's gaze shifted to you, sizing you up with an intensity that sent a shiver down your spine. “a new recruit, huh? a girl, too. this is a boys' lacrosse team.”
you stood your ground, your gaze locking with finstock's. “i'm not asking for any special treatment. let me prove myself,” you paused, scanning the competition before your eyes. “your players are all a tutu and wig away from being girls, anyway.”
finstock's lips curled into a slow, skeptical smile. “tutu, huh? alright then. you want a shot? let's see what you've got.” you had to borrow gear from the lost and found bin, but you didn't complain. you weren't in any position to complain.
he blew his whistle, and the players assembled on the field. the tension was palpable, an electric charge that crackled through the air. scott gave you a reassuring nod, and the game began.
the boys moved with precision, their passes and maneuvers executed with practiced fluidity. and then, suddenly, the ball was in play. scott passed it to you, and the moment you caught it, the world around you narrowed to the field and the goalpost. with a burst of speed, you weaved through the players, your lacrosse stick an extension of your arm. the wind rushed past your ears, and your heart raced as the goalpost drew closer. you launched the ball, and it soared through the air, hitting the back of the net with a satisfying thud.
silence followed, broken only by the rustle of the grass in the wind. the players stared at you in disbelief, their expressions shifting from astonishment to something bordering on respect.
but the true test had yet to come.
as the game resumed, you found yourself against a flurry of opponents, their tackles and passes relentless. yet each time the ball came your way, you were ready. your reflexes were finely honed, and your movements were a dance of precision. you deflected every pass, anticipated every move, and when the ball was in your possession, you seized the opportunity to score.
the scoreboard began to tip in your favor, and finstock's murmurs of astonishment grew louder. but there was one player you couldn't ignore—the dark figure of isaac lahey, his eyes trained on you with a mixture of frustration and intrigue.
finally, as the game reached its climax, the ball was thrown high into the air, a chaotic scramble ensuing. it was isaac who lunged for it, his determination etched across his face. but in that moment, something ignited within you, a surge of strength that defied explanation. isaac's outstretched hand barely brushed the ball before you snatched it away, your body moving on instinct alone. and then, with a force that took even you by surprise, you pivoted and threw him over your shoulder.
time seemed to freeze as isaac sailed through the air, his expression a mix of astonishment and disbelief. the impact as he hit the ground was both satisfying and jarring, a testament to the power you hadn't realized you possessed.
the field fell into a stunned silence, punctuated by the ragged sound of isaac's breaths. coach finstock's mouth hung open, his whistle forgotten in his hand. and then, slowly, the silence gave way to a smattering of applause that grew into a roar of cheers.
finstock's eyes locked onto you, his disbelief shifting to something resembling respect. “alright, (l/n), you've got yourself a spot on this team.”
and just like that, the impossible became reality. the cheers and congratulations of your new teammates washed over you, and as you looked across the field, you caught isaac's gaze. the fire in his eyes was undeniable, but beneath it, something else simmered—a grudging respect born from the intensity of the challenge you'd just posed.
the following day, the buzz surrounding your triumphant display on the lacrosse field still hung in the air like static electricity. the halls of school seemed to crackle with an energy you couldn't ignore. as you walked into the bustling cafeteria, you were met with curious glances and hushed conversations that faded into whispers as you passed.
joining your friends at the usual table, you settled into a seat with a grin. scott, stiles, lydia, and the rest of the group greeted you with enthusiastic smiles and cheers. “(y/n), that move yesterday? It was amazing, you gotta teach me,” stiles exclaimed, his hands mimicking your throwing motion as he animatedly recounted the moment. “i swear, it was like something out of an action movie.”
you chuckled, grateful for your friends' support. “thanks, stiles. it was pretty intense.”
he continued his animated retelling, punctuating his words with dramatic gestures and exclamations. as he launched into a description of your skill, a familiar voice cut through the chatter.
“stiles, shut up,” isaac's voice broke in, his tone a mix of annoyance and exasperation.
he blinked, momentarily taken aback. “wait, what? i'm just giving credit where credit's due.”
isaac's gaze shifted to you, his eyes narrowing as they met yours. “you don't need his play-by-play, (y/n). i'm sure you're already well aware of how impressive you were.” his tone was borderline mocking.
a challenge seemed to spark between the two of you, a battle of wills and egos that went beyond the lacrosse field. scott exchanged a knowing glance with you, while the others exchanged uneasy looks.
“okay, enough of the tension,” scott interjected, attempting to diffuse the situation. “we're all friends here, right?”
lydia nodded, her lips curved into an apologetic smile. “yeah, isaac, don't rain on the parade.”
isaac's expression remained unyielding, but he finally relented with a sigh. “fine. you were decent, (l/n).” your own lips quirked into a small smile, a glint of amusement in your eyes. “thanks, isaac. coming from you, that means absolutely nothing.”
his jaw clenched, his competitiveness still evident, but there was something different in his gaze—a flicker of begrudging respect that didn't go unnoticed. he practically hunted you down with his eyes, staring you down much harder than necessary, as if he was ready to pounce at any given moment, a special type of rage coursing through his veins. “danny's been throwing all sorts of comments my way because you joined our team.” he announced, a sense of biterness detectable in his tone.
you shot him a confused look. “well, tell him you're flattered but you don't swing that way.” a wave of silence crashed over the group.
“he wasn't hitting on me, you idiot. he was threatening me.”
as lunch continued, the conversation shifted to less intense topics, and the camaraderie of the group eased the lingering tension. still, the dynamic between you and isaac had shifted, the rivalry mingling with a newfound acknowledgment of each other's abilities. and as the cafeteria buzzed around you, you couldn't help but feel that this was only the beginning of a story that would unfold with every practice, every game, and every challenge that lay ahead.
the days passed in a blur of practices, games, and schoolwork, the intensity of the lacrosse season escalating as each opponent was conquered. the rivalry between you and Isaac had taken on a life of its own, simmering beneath the surface of every interaction. there was an undeniable chemistry, a magnetic pull that went beyond the confines of the field. it was a tension that drew you together and pushed you apart in equal measure.
one evening, after a particularly grueling practice, the sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows across the field. the cool breeze rustled the grass, carrying with it a sense of anticipation that matched the electric current in the air. the field was empty now, the players gone, leaving you and Isaac alone.
“you're really something, you know,” isaac's voice broke the silence, his tone a mixture of exasperation and awe. you turned to face him, your gaze locked with his. “coming from you, i'm not sure if that's a compliment or an insult.” his lips curved into a wry smile, his eyes glittering in the fading light. “take it as you will.”
the tension between you was palpable, a living entity that seemed to crackle with every breath. in that moment, you were aware of nothing else—the world seemed to narrow to the two of you, the weight of your rivalry and attraction intertwining in a dangerous dance.
“lahey,” you began, your voice low and edged with a challenge, “you might be the most infuriating person i've ever met.” his laughter was a mix of amusement and something deeper, a hint of vulnerability that caught you off guard. “and yet, you can't seem to stay away.”
uou took a step closer, the distance between you narrowing to nothing. “maybe i'm just drawn to danger.”
his gaze was unyielding, his eyes searching yours as if seeking something hidden beneath the surface. “or maybe you're drawn to something you can't quite understand.”
a shiver ran down your spine, a tremor of uncertainty mixed with anticipation. the lines between rivalry and attraction blurred, leaving you teetering on the edge of a precipice you weren't sure you were ready to leap from.
the sound of footsteps approaching broke the spell, and you both turned to see stiles walking toward you with an expectant look. “hey, you two ready to head out?” the interruption was a jarring reminder of reality, and the tension that had woven between you and Isaac seemed to dissipate. but the unspoken connection remained, lingering in the air like an echo.
“yeah, let's go,” you replied, your voice steadier than you felt.
as you walked away from the field, you stole a final glance at isaac. there was a depth to him that you hadn't anticipated, a complexity that went beyond the competitive surface. the path ahead was uncertain, a tangled web of rivalry, attraction, and unspoken truths. but in that moment, as you looked back at him, you couldn't deny the magnetic pull that seemed to bind you together, promising an adventure neither of you could fully comprehend.
the night of the big game had arrived, the tension in the air almost tangible as the stands filled with excited spectators. the rivalry between beacon hills and their opponents crackled like electricity, amplifying the energy that flowed through the stadium. as the minutes ticked down to the final play, the score stood tied, victory within reach but just out of grasp.
on the field, you moved with a fierce determination, each shot fired with precision, each pass executed flawlessly. the spectators roared with approval as the scores climbed, the exhilaration of the game mingling with the adrenaline that pulsed through your veins. and yet, beneath the surface, there was an undercurrent of something more—a tension that seemed to draw you inexorably toward Isaac.
as the final play approached, the score remained tied, the outcome of the game hinging on this one decisive moment. the ball was in your possession, the weight of the team's hopes resting on your shoulders. the pressure was palpable, the crowd's collective breath held as you prepared to make your move.
but as you sprinted toward the goalpost, the world around you seemed to blur, isaac's figure suddenly looming in your line of sight. in a split second, the ball was intercepted, stolen away by an opposing player. the seconds that followed were a blur, the crowd's cheers turning into gasps of disbelief as the opposing team capitalized on the opening and scored, securing their victory.
the cheers of the opposing team's fans echoed through the stadium, the disappointment of your own supporters almost tangible. as the players began to disperse, a stunned silence settled over the field, punctuated only by the sound of your own ragged breathing.
frustration surged within you, a fierce anger that needed an outlet. and before you knew it, you were storming into the locker room, your heart pounding in your chest. the frustration was aimed at Isaac, the weight of his mistake, and the way it had stolen victory from the team and from you.
“isaac,” you snapped as you spotted him, his expression heavy with guilt as he stripped off his gear. he looked up, his gaze meeting yours with a mixture of surprise and resignation. “what?”
“you screwed up that play,” you hissed, the frustration seeping into your words. “we had it, and you let it slip through your fingers.”
his jaw clenched, his frustration matching your own. “oh, don't put this all on me. i wasn't the only one out there.”
“doesn't matter,” you shot back, stepping closer until you were within arm's reach of him. “you were the one who blew it.” isaac's eyes flashed with anger, his chest rising and falling with every heated breath. “you have no idea what it's like out there. you don't know the pressure.”
“i know the pressure of being on a team,” you retorted, your voices rising in a heated exchange. his expression shifted, a mixture of frustration and something else you couldn't quite place. “you don't get it. you piss me off. you're distracting.”
“distracting?” you scoffed, disbelief coloring your voice. “is that your excuse?”
his gaze bore into yours, a fierce intensity that seemed to strip away everything but the two of you in that moment. “yeah, (y/n), you distract me.”
before you could respond, he was suddenly in front of you, his hands on your waist, his lips crashing against yours in a kiss that was as fiery as it was unexpected. the world seemed to spin, the tension that had simmered between you igniting into something more, a mixture of anger, attraction, and a tangled web of emotions.
your initial surprise gave way to a fierce desire that matched his own, your hands finding their way to his hair, pulling him closer. the kiss was a tumultuous storm, a maelstrom of pent-up frustration and longing that had been building for far too long.
and then, as suddenly as it had begun, the kiss ended, leaving you both breathless and reeling. Isaac's gaze bore into yours, his eyes searching for something you weren't sure you could define.
“it's not just about distraction,” he murmured, his voice low and raw. “it's about you getting under my skin in ways i can't explain.”
the truth hung heavy in the air between you, a confession that left you both exposed and vulnerable. and as you looked into his eyes, the anger and rivalry seemed to fall away, leaving only the raw intensity of your connection.
“i don't understand this,” you admitted, your voice soft as you met his gaze. “but i can't deny that it's there.”
isaac's fingers brushed against your cheek, his touch feather-light. “maybe we don't have to understand it right now.”
before you could respond, his lips were on yours again, the kiss a mixture of desperation and longing. and as you surrendered to the pull between you, the world outside the locker room faded away, leaving only the two of you and the unspoken promise of something that had yet to be fully explored.

Derek waits, thinking it will only be a matter of when, not if. But nothing ever happens.
Stiles doesn’t jump him when they’re pressed close watching films on the couch, he doesn’t clumsily kiss him while wearing his stupid sombrero and he doesn’t grab Derek’s hand when they’re at the movies.
He doesn’t do any of the things that Derek had predicted he’d do.
In fact, he doesn’t do anything at all when it comes to Derek.
Derek’s not used to having to make the first move and it terrifies him; even with his limited romantic experience with a few homicidal women, they usually just took what they wanted from him.
Derek’s never wanted anyone like he wants Stiles and every time he sees him lately, it’s like it gets a tiny bit worse.

Well Stiles, you told me a few weeks ago that you thought Derek was leading a cult.”
At that Derek whipped his head toward Stiles in shock. “You thought I was a cult leader?”
Stiles will not be shamed. “Well, either you or Peter. Peter made more sense, but since he deferred to you that one time I was a little unsure. I mean, what else could I think with all the weird shit going on. You, hanging out with random high school seniors, doing secret things, ordering them around like you are their parent, them actually doing what you tell them. It’s really weird, okay?”

Proximity by NadiaHart | 5.9K | Explicit
This was supposed to be a routine scouting mission. Go check out the creepy warehouse that suddenly appeared behind the abandoned movie theater off route 15; take some notes, maybe a photo or two. Do some basic recon and report back to the rest of the pack.
That is decidedly not what happened. And now, standing chest-to-chest, squished into a shipping crate with Derek, Stiles absently wonders where he went wrong.
He Gets Me High by talktowater | 11.5K | Explicit
Stiles and Derek act like a couple. But they're not. Seriously! Derek has a boyfriend and Stiles has a girlfriend. They're just friends, overly-attached and possessive friends, but that's it. Right?
When it all comes crumbling down by Littleredridinghunter | 216.1K
Stiles is recovering from the Nogitsune. Erica is the only one that is really there for him, Scott's too busy rekindling his relationship with Allison and Stiles feels like he's falling apart.
When a near-miss with a kelpie results in an encounter that he could never have predicted, Stiles begins to think his life might be getting back on track.
He's wrong.
Stiles' life is so messed up he can't even begin to explain it, maybe it's time for him to finally do something for himself and get out of Beacon Hills. But where will that path lead?
With Stiles involved, no doubt danger and death won't be far behind.

I’mma just up and say it: if it wasn’t for Scott and Tyler Posey, I wouldn’t have gotten into this show.
Scott is the one who pulled me into this show. Yeah, he was sooo melodramatic in season 1, but that was part of his charm for me. He has such a very human, very teenager reaction for somebody who just got bitten by and turned into a werewolf, that to me he actually feels like a teenager. And once he loses that rage after season 1, he has such a big heart. He is adorable. He is the goofball. He is the hot girl.
His entire arc is about selflessness and sacrifice. The Scott we see in season 1 is caught up in his wants and desires. But as he gets older, as he accepts that he has this weird authoritative position in Beacon Hills that can’t really be explained until he becomes the true alpha, he accepts the responsibilities that come with being a leader. He faces danger head on, without question. He forms personal relationships with his pack (Stiles, Isaac, Kira, Lydia, Liam, Malia, and even Hayden!) that I feel like people like to ignore. He stands by his morals, not because they are the easy thing to do (wouldn’t have killing Deucalion been the easy way out?), but because he honestly, genuinely, wholeheartedly believes that standing by them is the right thing to do. That doesn’t mean he’s always right. He’s made mistakes that this fandom loves to rehash over and over and over again. But he is a good person. Fundamentally, right down to his core.
And this was what I needed when I got into this show. I needed a character who had the growth that Scott does, because it’s subtle, but the more you rewatch him, the more it’s there. I needed a character that could make me feel happy on a bad day. I needed a character who could do the right thing without question, who grew into himself and became more confident in himself, who could face the world even when it’d beaten him down so thoroughly.
Scott is the main character of the show, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Villainizing Grief
Tumblr media
I was thinking about @theobule-caul's post here about how often fandom defends its celebration of villains (but only if they're good-looking white male villains) at the expense of female characters and characters of color. What's insidious about this is how subtle it can be, so subtle that fandom can tell itself that it's just telling an alternative story and not actively engaging in racist double standards and erasure of female characters and characters of color.
I can think of no better example than the way the Sterek fandom loves to rewrite the end of Season 3B of Teen Wolf. In Insatiable (3x11), the nogitsune, wearing Stiles's original body, has the oni kill Allison Argent. It was a shocking moment for the audience as well as for the characters. Scott ends the episode having led Allison to her death and holding her cooling corpse. It's tragic.
For a traditional television hero, the next episode would have been about Scott coming to terms with the love of his life dying in his arms, but Teen Wolf chose not to do that. The first scene in the next episode is Chris Argent instructing Scott on how to create an effective cover story about Allison's death, implying in the line "it's what we do" that Scott can't grieve right now. He must be the leader that he never wanted to be. Instead, other people -- Stiles, Isaac, Chris himself, and even freaking Ethan (notice a pattern) -- get emotional scenes which express a reaction to Allison's death. Scott won't be able to mourn Allison until the season ending montage, where he gets ten seconds of silent crying in his dining room (as I frequently say at this point - Don't strain yourself, Davis). Instead, Scott spends the final episode focusing entirely on saving Stiles to the point that even after such loss, Scott won't contemplate Stiles's sacrificing himself to save others.
Jeff Davis did know his audience. He knew that he should have only white male characters get to express feelings about Allison's death in The Divine Move (3x12). Scott doesn't. Lydia doesn't. Noshiko doesn't, and it was her oni that killed an innocent girl. In fact, Scott won't mention Allison by name until the Benefactor (4x04) -- four episodes into the next season -- when he's forced to tell the Sheriff that her name is a key word for the dead pool. He won't get to actually verbally admit that she died because he led her to fight the nogitsune until Monstrous (4x10) when he's talking to Liam and even then doesn't have time to actually express more than a fleeting emotion about it. Scott won't perform any sort of mourning until the first episode of Season 5. For a relationship that Jeff obviously considered one of the cornerstones of the series (so much that it was the focus of the reunion movie), it seems strangely thin, doesn't it? But Davis understood how little his audience cares about a character of color's feelings.
But don't worry! Here comes the Sterek Fandom to the rescue! They will give Scott the opportunity to grieve! Yay!
AND THEN THEY WILL CONDEMN HIM FOR IT.
It appears all the time; it's very popular. When you look at stories where Scott is a Bad Friend or Stiles is Pushed Out of the Pack, it is very frequently due to Scott's reaction to Allison's death. There's a new story today where Scott is angry and blames Stiles. Don't worry, Scott will be made to apologize for grieving by the end of the story. In various and numerous stories, Scott has been lectured or scorned by his mother, by Derek, by Lydia, by the Sheriff, or by Peter (!?!?) when it's made perfectly clear that Scott McCall's primary and unending mission is to focus entirely on Stiles's emotional state and accept anything that his "best friend" decides to do, whether it's show up drunk to Allison's funeral, abandoning Beacon Hills, refusing to talk to Scott and instead choosing Jackson to be his new best friend or sleeping with a Hale.
The twisted part of this is that the Sterek fandom takes what happened in canon -- Scott sets his grief aside to take care of Stiles -- changes it to its opposite in their writing, and then uses that grief to make him the bad guy. It might seem strange, but it serves very specific purposes.
Doing this undermines Scott's and Allison's relationship as the predominant relationship of the show. Sterek fandom has been wanting to do this since Season 1. It's necessary for them to argue that Scott didn't reject Derek or Peter because they were brutal and selfish, he rejected them because Scott was obsessed with Allison. The fact that Scott clearly wasn't -- especially in this situation -- reinforces the canon reason that Scott wouldn't follow Derek or Peter, and it is hard to write apologia for a villain character if the lead protagonist had a legitimate grievance against them.
Doing this denies Scott's virtues as the lead protagonist. This is basic bashing. Even though canon Scott again and again showed compassion and concern for people he had every right not to do so (to the point that Stiles keeps scolding him about it), if they can portray Scott as focusing on his own emotions, they can argue that he's essentially selfish. Think about that -- they leapt at a chance to show a boy grieving for the girlfriend that died in his arms in order to convince their audience he's a villain.
Doing this makes it easier to conjure a relationship for Stiles and a white male character which supplants Scott's relationship with Stiles. It isn't enough for them to craft a relationship between Derek and Stiles (or Jackson and Stiles or Peter and Stiles) that didn't exist in canon -- which are completely legitimate ships, by the way -- because they also have to destroy his pre-existing relationships in a feat of bitter envy.
On the surface, it might easy to miss the connection between allowing a character of color to grieve and using it to promote white male characters (and defend white male villains), but it exists. Grief isn't bad in Sterek stories if it's Stiles or Derek grieving. Grief is bad when Scott grieves (someone other than Derek or Stiles and even then he can be scolded for even thinking that his grief is on the same level as Derek or Stiles's). This is exactly what the original post was talking about it when it complained about "sometimes transplanting whole story/personality elements of characters of color / female characters onto their white villain faves to explain why they're 'sympathetic' while also denigrating the CoCs/FCs for the exact same traits." Grief, as Jeff Davis perceived, is only heroic when a white man does it. In a character of color or a female character, it's an obstacle.

where the leaders of humanity and leaders of the werewolves of Beacon Hills handpick two people to marry and have peace between wolves and humans.
Stiles was the unlucky one to be chosen, the worst part is that even though he wasn't gay he was chosen to marry a man, but truth be told.
The man may be a beast, but he's also hot.

Sterek should have been endgame and Scott needed to be less of a dick.
I wish the writers would stop using Derek as the punching bag. Like I get he was an angry asshole at the start but can you blame him after all that he went through? He should have had a character growth arc and given the chance to be a better alpha instead of making him give it up. I get the symbolism of giving up the power but he should have gotten it back. And we should have seen more of his full shift than what we got. Like the Hales were special because of the full shift and we only see it once? Also he should have gotten his family land back, like it's been in his family for years and he's lost enough he shouldn't have let the county take his land that was fucked up. Even if he never rebuilt, he could have tore the remains down and put up a marker or a tree or something to show they were there and what happened. But to let it become new housing was just fucked up.
I would have like to see Derek and Scott be co-alphas and lead the pack together. They could have had a batman and superman friendship with one of them being broody and the other being hopeful and optimistic.
Stiles should have had magic. I know Dylan O'Brien said he didn't want Stiles to have magic and just be human but come on, he would have been badass at it.
I was never a big fan of Stiles and Lydia because it felt like he was more in love with the image he had of her than of her. Yes he got to know the real Lydia and they fell in love but I still didn't really like it. He was too obsessed with her it felt like he just wore her down or something idk. I know that Dylan said in an interview that Stiles and Lydia would have dated for a while but then realized they were better of as friends, and this was years before the movie came out.
And OMG the movie what the shit was that!?!?!? For all that Scott said he would be the alpha and defend Beacon Hill he left the town for years and still left at the end of the movie. Derek, Peter, Malia, and Jordan are really the only supernaturals left to defend the town. The Hales are the ones protecting their territory. And did they really have to kill Derek in the way they did it. Like fire really? REALLY!?!? And in front of his sixteen year old son. Derek lost his family at sixteen to a fire and now his son Eli loses his dad to a fire at sixteen? Really!?!? Like I hated it, I hated that the whole movie felt like Scott was just reliving his high school glory days. I hate that's Scott got his happy ending at the expense of Derek's life. Derek was good, he was happy with his son, had a home, a good business, was respect in the community, had a good relationship with the remainder of his family and you kill him off? And then hint at the fact that Scott would be the one to 'adopt' Eli, a kid he barely knew, just so that he and Allison could play house and be a happy little family? BULLSHIT!!!!
I read somewhere that Jeff wanted the show to end with Scott and Allison together and Stiles and Lydia together and that their kids would all be best friends. But with Crystal Reed leaving in season 3 that changed things. The movie felt like his way of getting that ending he wanted but Dylan not returning changed things again. But at least Scott got Allison back, so yay? Don't get me wrong I loved Scott and Allison together but Scott was so obsessed with her to the point that he would throw anyone but his mom under the bus for her. And it got annoying very fast even worse was the fact that he didn't really learn anything from it he has just as obsessed with Kira (though maybe not to the same level). The whole bros before hoes thing was non existent for him. I get Scott was supposed to be like a King Arthur kind of figure, you know? Special, good leader, kind, and legendary but Scott was not it. Yea he had his moments where he was really good but he had so many where he wasn't and he never seemed to learn and grow. Like even the BBC Merlin Arthur who started out as a jerk became honorable, just, and a good leader, yea he too had his moments where he regressed but it was still better than Scott.
They should have fixed his relationship with Derek maybe then him taking Eli in would have made more sense. Like Scott hated Derek a lot ,more so than necessary. Yes Derek lied to get Scott to help him take down the alpha (Peter) but Scott acted like Derek was he one who bit him. Scott forgave so many others who had done far worse (deucalion?) But Derek was where he drew the line? Why because he bit three others who chose the bite? I get him being mad about the lies, I get him being mad about Derek's attitude while on the alpha power trip but come on sometimes Scott was just a dick. He was willing to look the other way when Victoria tried to kill him and was ok with keeping quiet about why Derek bit Victoria and let Allison hate derek and attack his pack because he didn't want to cause problems with Allison. No he sucks. We could have had an epic friendship between them but no we got something half-assed and I hate it.
And why the hell did they make Derek basically a True Alpha like two seconds before he died like what the FUCK!?!?!?
I just wished the would have given Scott some character development instead of just making him more powerful.

Hi! I was told to come here by another rec tumblr. I'm just gonna copy what I asked them...
I'm not sure if you can help with this, but I'm looking for triad fics with Derek/Stiles and a third. I don't have anyone specific in mind for the third person. I'm just craving a threesome pairing with Sterek. Maybe with the story revolving around Stiles? I'm not sure if this is too vague or if you even rec fics like this. Thanks!
Hopefully you have some recs?
I've heard that 3 is the magic number. That's right, right?

Stiles is the new kid, well new kitsune in town. It doesn't take him long to catch the attention of Scott McCall and Derek Hale, the leaders of the Beacon Hills wolf pack. Stiles isn't sure he'll be a good addition to the pack, until Scott and Derek convince him otherwise.

“I hate everyone here,” pouts Stiles. He doesn’t. But then again, he really does. There wouldn’t be a problem if he had gotten to go hunt down the damn goblin with Allison and Scott. But no, they had insisted on bringing Lydia along instead of him. He’s like 89% sure that Allison and Lydia finally got Scott on board with a threesome, hence the split. Which again, not the worst thing ever. But there are ways he’d like to be stuck with Isaac and Derek, both of whom he’s had a thing for pretty much since the day Derek pulled his “I’m the Alpha” routine at the police station and since the day Isaac got all up on Jackson at the rave. And since Stiles has had regular appointments with his dick since he discovered it had other uses, he’s thought about the two werewolves A LOT. Trying to hunt down a goblin who apparently thinks it’s fun to fuck with people on Halloween in the rain is not how Stiles wants to be stuck with the stars of his fantasies.

He then gives a two-finger salute, the sign he has trained with his pack, and before she can react, two shots are heard in the clearing. Blue blood starts spilling out of her mouth before she coughs and falls to her knees. Her eyes are wide and focused on Stiles.
Stiles sits on his haunches in front of her, so he's on eye level with her. "It's pretty stupid that people keep underestimating me. You should've known better-" Lydia screams in the distance, and Stiles knows it's time.

Jaune: Sun has done much to damage both
Jaune had arrived early in the morning at the hospital where Blake and Yang were staying.
He was here as the Jaune Arc and not as the chief of police of Vacuo.
All Faunus were afraid to look at him, for he was the descendant of the devil of Faunus legends.
When Jaune arrived at the hospital.
It took him a while to find Yang and Blake because he had stopped to help people with his semblante of healing and unlocking people's auras.
Yang: When I find that monkey, I'm going to cut off his tail
Jaune: Yang, I have to remember that you are in front of an authority, I can put you in jail
Jaune sat in a chair.
Yang and Blake were in bed.
There were a lot of other people around her who were receiving medical treatment.
Because the world is in a desperate situation.
Jaune looked at the two guys and saw that they were almost 100%. As they were hunters, they were priorities.
Jaune: Okay, Blake starts talking
Blake: Speak? Say what?
Jaune crossed his arms.
Jaune: I talked to Neptune, he revealed to me that you and Sun have been through a lot together, you even traveled together when you escaped from Beacon.
Blake:I really have no idea why he did that, jealousy maybe?
Jaune: Our 🙄 I was so jealous when I saw you two kissing~
Jaune: Blake, please, Sun must have had a reason to do that, a man just doesn't hit a woman just because she's a lesbian. There must be a reason, and you know what it is, Blake
Blake looked away.
She was nervous.
Jaune let out a sigh.
Jaune: Come in soon
Blake turned pale.
She thought that Sun would enter through that door, but the person who entered was not Sun
It was Robyn Hill... Wait, this is still bad.
Before Blake could do anything.
His right arm was bound with a chain that was made of aura.
Blake: He can create aura weapons
Robyn was standing between Blake and Yang's bed.
Blake: you can't force me
Jaune: Yes, yes I can, I have studied the laws of Vacuo. And right now you're not helping Blake, I'm a 65-year-old man, do you think I'm that stupid?
Random doctor: You are 65 years old!
Jaune turned to the doctor.
Jaune: Aura does wonderful things
Jaune stood up.
He pulled a super necklace out of his pocket and took Blake's left hand, he put a large amount of necklace, and then he took Robyn's hand and glued both of their hands together.
Blake hadn't escaped.
Jaune returned to his chair.
Jaune: Then Blake started talking
Jaune bitterly regretted it.
Blake is not a girl with problems.
She was trouble in girl form.
He was not supposed to improve Robyn's semblante.
She revealed too much. Something he doesn't need to know.
Robyn wanted to get out as soon as possible when Blake told her about.... His hobbies
Everyone stopped to watch this soap opera, or rather everyone who was in the room.
Jaune: Let me see if I understood. Have you ever had a boyfriend who was 100% anti-human, where you both had a little tense relation, but... full of sexual tension...
Jaune stopped breathing.
Jaune: Instead of sitting down and having a conversation with him, you ran away to the Beacon, he was one of The White Fang leaders, who was one of the main people responsible for Baecon's attack and he was responsible for cutting off Yang's arm!
Jaune pointed at Yang's missing arm.
Jaune: You left without telling your team to go after the White Fang and detail that you did not take Yang to the hospital, you left her bleeding on the floor without her arm!
Random man: What a crazy thing
Jaune: You faced your ex-boyfriend and almost died! If Yang hadn't arrived on the scene
Blake: You forget the breaking into my house part
Jaune: This is the least important part! It was a miracle, Yang, it seems like you weren't dead! To add fuel to this fire, you discovered that your ex-boyfriend was an SDC slave.... This relationship is not toxic, it sucks! The guy was enslaved, he literally has a slave mark on his eye, how do you not want this guy to hate human?
Elderly lady: He really is right
Jaune: What is incredible to me is the fact that Sun was willing to be of help to you. He accepted all of this even though you treated him badly
Blake: I didn't treat him badly, Jaune.
Jaune: I didn't find another word.
Jaune coughed.
A child handed him a glasswater.
Jaune drank water and returned the glass.
Jaune: Thanks
Jaune: This story between the two of you starts off all wrong. You abandoned your team without giving a single warning, he followed you to your home, where the two of you face the remnants of the white fangs. Your house was attacked, your parents were almost killed, and in the end you kiss him
Yang: Sun looks like he is being chased
Random doctor 2: I wouldn't say he's being persecuted, of all the stories I've heard from my friends, the most common is when a stalker sees that his or her target is having a hard time, this is the perfect opportunity for a kidnapping. He's a fool in love.
Jaune: You gave him a kiss! It's the same thing as putting a billboard on your head and saying you have a chance with me, Sun! Not even my sister did that!
Jaune's blood pressure began to rise.
Jaune: It looks like hell came out of the mind of a 16-year-old teenager. Bringing two troubled teenagers together to become a couple
Yang: Jaune, you sound like an old man complaining
Jaune: I am old Yang, I have more important things to do, and the discussion of your sexuality or Blake's sexuality is not on my list
Blake: So you saying what the Sun is correct
Jaune: Don't put those words in my mouth
Jaune: I'm not saying that what the Sun did was right, but what you did was not right either. You rubbed it in the face of the man who was trying to win you over, that you are happy, etc, etc. Did you have to exaggerate that, Blake?
Blake looked away.
Jaune stood up and put his right hand on Blake's face.
He began to heal Blake.
The wounds that were caused by the Sun began to fade away.
The necklace that kept Blake and Robyn together. It was also undone.
Robyn, now free, the first thing she would do is clean her hand because of the Blake's hobby.
He did the same thing to Yang. But he was able to give back Yang's lost arm.
His work here was done.
Jaune: Now Blake, for the love of Jesus Christ, never do that to anyone again. Now I have to find Sun and make him apologize for what he did
Blake: Who Jesus Chris?
Jaune: Someone who would be the last person you would choose to follow because of your lifestyle
Jaune walked to the door.
Aura chain fell apart.
Jaune: Blake
Suddenly, Blake's animal instincts began to alert her to danger.
When she looked at Jaune.
Jaune was about to leave, his back to Blake.
Jaune had turned his head a little.
Blake had a glimpse of one of his eyes, and that eye was the source of her sense of dread.
Jaune's eye had changed, this eye became like her father's eye when he released his animal side. The difference was that his eye seemed to have electricity, the eye color changed to a much darker blue.
That was the eye of the diabolos Diogron Sabertooth.
They were the same eyes described in the legends.
Blue eyes as deep as the ocean, his eyes radiated lightning.
Jaune: If I find out that you're going to disobey again, I'm going to throw you in and you're never going to get out
Out of fear, Blake nodded his head.
Jaune: Good
Jaune left the room, Blake fell out of bed.
Yang was worried about his girlfriend's safety.
She will have to think of a way to deal with Jaune's new trick.
Elderly lady: Oh my gods, it was great entertainment in between, it would make an excellent piece of theater. It's a shame that my beloved Rogério is no longer here, I would love to give him a blowjob now after this show
Relative of the old woman: Grandma!
Elderly lady: * laughter * Oh darling I may be old but I'm still very good at what I do

Theo Raeken loved Liam Dunbar while Liam Dunbar could've loved Theo Raeken:
At this point my love for Thiam is evident and I love to think that my headcanons about them are facts but I also love to analyze canon and in my opinion Theo loved Liam while Liam could've loved Theo but we didn't have enough time.
Let me explain:
The first thing is that Theo's sexual orientation is never disclosed in the show but we can analyze what we get. Theo never showed romantic interest for anyone. The only two remotely romantic examples in his scenes are the ones with Malia and Tracey, however those instances were "programed", those were fake interactions impulsed by his -villanous- interests at the time.
Theo, however, seems much more interested whenever he interacts with men (I am not saying that he likes every single man he interacts with, but we can admit that even his expression seemed to change). Still, I don't think Theo felt anything for anyone -other than anger, jealously, etc.- until he met Liam.
In my opinion, yes, at first Theo didn't leave Liam's side because he had the power to send him back to hell but later there's plenty of times where Theo keeps showing even when he doesn't have to.
I have a post dedicated to explain how Season 6 Theo is the "Real Theo" and that Theo is pretty much mesmerized by Liam in many scenes. Evidently, he also feels some type of loyalty towards Liam to the point where he only decides to not leave Beacon Hills until Scott mentions Liam in that phone call.
Not to mention the amount of times where he saves Liam's life and helps him with his IED.
It's never stated explicitly but I think Liam is the first person Theo loved in a very very long time (or maybe the first one, we don't know how his relationship with his family was), wether it was platonic or romantic, Theo had feelings for that boy. I am personally inclined to think that those feelings are not platonic at all given the fact that I firmly believe that Theo might be gay or maybe bisexual with a strong preference for men.
Now, here comes the problem... Liam is a completely different case.
Liam feels resentful towards Theo most of the time and I think his unwillingness to send him back to hell has more to do with the fact that in Season 6 it's hinted that Liam will be the new leader at some point and he has to prove himself.
However, at some point things get much more complex because there's plenty of times where Liam keeps asking Theo for help even when he doesn't really need him. Liam listens to Theo and he knows that Theo is a reliable person -Towards Liam himself only because the rest of the pack never seems to forgive him, not even my sweet boy Mason- and wants to have him fighting by his side. He explains his plans and waits for Theo's opinion -the funny thing is that no matter how dumb Liam acts Theo will help him with his plans and save him if necessary-
And... the biggest point of the analysis on Liam's side is that it's heavily hinted that Theo is Liam's new anchor. Of course they never say it explicitly, but the subtext is too strong to ignore it (it's painfully obvious even). One of the biggest proofs of it is Theo saying "That's progress" when Liam controls himself after seeing him in that scene with Gabe because that line is a direct parallel to Stiles saying "That's progress" to Malia... HIS EX GIRLFRIEND.
I think Liam was not really prepared to accept that Theo was already his ally, his friend -given the fact that they smile at each other, they save each other, etc- and his anchor.
Liam was already feeling some type of affection for Theo by season 6B but it was buried behind the angry and annoyed facade Liam keeps for the entirety of that season.
Liam could've definitely loved Theo back but the show ended too early for Liam to come to terms with his new feelings.
I am choosing to ignore the existence of the Teen wolf movie because it makes Thiam even more tragic. If we consider it canon then it's very likely that Theo never confessed to Liam and Liam, at some point, probably buried his feelings even more until they faded.

❝ While it was fairly well-known, at least in certain circles, that the small town of Beacon Hills had a history of werewolves and hunters, those people who could turn into beasts under the silver glow of the full moon and those who made it their life’s mission to hunt the former group and rid the world of them. But what was decidedly less known - in fact, almost no one outside of the Hale family, and now its last two surviving members, were aware of it - was that the woods surrounding Beacon Hills were home to a colony of fairies. Certainly this little California town was not the only place in the world where fairies hid, their little forest kingdoms hidden behind wards that would only break for those outsiders they chose to let in, but the Beacon Hills colony had been in their woods since before the town was even founded, and they were more than content to remain there, all but unknown to the non-fairies of the area, especially when the majority of the Hale family perished and its last two members began to keep away from the woods, allowing them to continue their lives in peace with much less bother than before.
But in any society that isolates itself from the outside, there will always be one who remains curious about that outside, even in a society of fairies. That curious inevitability came in the form of Lucinda, the child of the most valued advisor to the colony’s leader. A naturally outgoing child, whose powerful affinity for light magic perfectly matched their bright and friendly demeanor, she had always been captivated by the stories the colony’s elders told of humans and their world, how they lived completely without magic or wings but still somehow managed to create marvellous inventions that made existing easier for them. For most of their life, she had longed to venture out past the colony’s concealing wards and walk among the intriguing creatures they had heard about - and when Derek Hale, one of the only people left who knew about the town’s fairies, moved back to Beacon Hills, Lucinda saw what might be her best chance.
Their choice was certainly not approved by the colony, and certainly not her own parents, but regardless, Lucinda had left the protective wards that concealed their world, taking a fully-sized and wingless human form for the first time since she had been taught to take it as a young child, and approached Derek Hale, asking to stay with him in the burnt-out shell of his family’s home while they explored this new world. Though initially hesitant - and throughly annoyed by Lucinda’s constant smiles and questions - the sullen werewolf was forced to agree, lest he leave the young fairy by herself and potentially allow them to accidentally reveal her kind’s existence. Thus, Lucinda began an education at Beacon Hills High as Lucinda Hale, a distant cousin of Derek’s who had come to live with him - and, while their relative ignorance when it came to interacting with humans quickly earned her the label of the “weirdo new kid,” they were taken under the wing of popular girl Lydia Martin, who insisted she could give Luce the so-called “makeover of a lifetime,” as well as making fast friends with Stiles Stilinski and Scott McCall, the latter of whom’s newfound lycanthropic secret forging an instant bond between them.
But, Luce has found, the most intriguing human she has come across in Beacon Hills seems to be one Jackson Whittemore. Though he is aggressive and sarcastic and often terribly rude to others, the light fairy finds that an air of aching instability and sadness hangs heavily around him, and as such, perhaps against better sense, they take it upon herself to become his friend. Though Scott and Stiles remain wary of Jackson, in part because of the torment he has put them through and in part because of the danger of Lydia taking this mission of friendship the wrong way, they refuse to leave off their efforts to break down Jackson’s walls, never having been one to let anyone hurt on their own. However, as Jackson’s aura takes on an entirely different air - a more dangerous, more unnatural one - following Derek’s near-death experience from a wolfsbane bullet, and the danger surrounding the mystery of the wolf who transformed Scott continues to grow, she begins to think that perhaps they should have listened to advice just this once, especially as she finds their feelings for Jackson growing deeper in a way that she’s never felt before.
And yet, Lucinda finds that they can’t regret leaving their safe little fairy haven to become a solider in the fight between Scott and Derek and the darker forces surrounding Beacon Hills. Because at their very core, Lucinda “Hale” is someone who will do whatever it takes to save those she loves - and if staying away from the world she grew up in and putting themself in danger will be what it takes to defend this dysfunctional little family she has made for themself in the human world, then the choice to do that is really no choice at all. ❞
