22-3-2024: During the past weeks (since my previous Tumblr entry) I've read a very nice old book, namely "Causality and Chance in Modern Physics" by David Bohm (with a foreword by Louis de Broglie), 1957. David Bohm as a person had quite an interesting but also difficult life, because not only were his theoretical physical theories not very well received in the community of physicists, but also as a citizen he came under the political inquisition of the right-wing American anti-communist witch-hunters during the notorious McCarthy era and had to flee from the USA to South America as a consequence. His above-mentioned not-too-long book of 170 pages is a treasure of literature: Meta-Physics (i.e.: Philosophy of Physics and Philosophy of Nature) in the best sense of the term! Though the science of physics has until today not taken the research direction (nor the results) which David Bohm had hoped for, his Philosophy of Nature is still very thought-inspiring and well worth reading also today! In fact almost all eminent physicists of all times were not only scientists but at the same time also wise Philosophers (in particular: Philosophers of Nature), though the professional guild of academic philosophy professors (who are in most cases not genuine philosophers themselves) on their chairs at university have all-too-often ignored them by-and-large. --------------------

in the astrology community we tend to say “it’s either a choice or a force” when talking about learning the lessons presented to us either in our natal charts or when faced with present transits.

what we mean when we say this is the laws of physics! “In the first law, an object will not change its motion unless a force acts on it. In the second law, the force on an object is equal to its mass times its acceleration. In the third law, when two objects interact, they apply forces to each other of equal magnitude and opposite direction.”

no planet is necessarily to blame when we’re frustrated or met with loss. but because there was an alignment in specific energies, something had to happen even if it’s that you’re choosing not to do anything. when we change motions, when we apply pressure, when we act on a decision, or when we are faced with challenges in present time and even when we continue to avoid. the actions that occur everyday are either a choice or a force, and in some circumstances we get to choose which it will be.
