@hydesjackiespuddinpop, the similarities and differences between Jackie and Laurie.

Similiarities:

*Both are willful and ambitious.

*Both are manipulative.

*Both are stereotypically feminine.

*Both are spoiled Daddy's girls.

*Both are attracted to Kelso (eww).

Differences:

*Jackie is way more focused and is far more type A than Laurie. Aka, ESTJ vs ESTP.

*When Laurie was talking with Kelso in the van, she revealed she struggled socially in middle school. Jackie didn't have this problem.

*Laurie is far more willing to cross moral boundaries.

*Jackie is far more into monogamy and long-term relationships than Laurie. Once again, this seems to be a result of Jackie being an obvious J type, rather than a P type.

If Laurie hated Eric so much, why can’t she just admit it instead of being a coward about it?! Ugh!

I haven’t been active on T7S tumblr a lot as of late, but I have been lurking from my personal blog and have noticed a very…polarized fandom when it comes to Laurie, recently. Some like her character because she makes a good antagonist, some hate her for this reason. Some like to pull back the layers to her character to explore her behavior and psyche, some don’t think its that deep. I go back and forth, but overall don’t have a really strong opinion on Laurie, either way. Laurie definitely has an antagonistic relationship with her brother, but I don’t think I’d go as far as saying she ‘hates’ Eric. Anyone else have any thoughts?

Maybe this is an unpopular opinion but I actually think Laurie would be a good mother, I mean she's not the best person but I think after she reaches her 30s and grows up a little, if she chooses motherhood I think would be a decent mum. Maybe I'm a little biased cause I just watched the season 3 episode 'Baby fever' but I can see it happening.
