I have.. such mixed feelings about the implications of this shot in the new trailer
Tumblr media
I wanna be hopeful that this means the protection charms dilemma is finally getting brought up and this is the result of Marinette having sat down with either Chat Noir or Alya and the show finally has her talk about how not ideally at all this was handled up til now from her/the hero's side because after the protection charms lost 90% of their initial crucial purpose the hero's just kinda act like the emotional value was the main purpose all along and no conversation or a second try from Ladybug, Chat Noir/Mister Bug or Scarabella needs to be concidered.
I wished the show would just name the reason for nothing having happened after "Dearest Family" to be that Marinette was/is too afraid of trying something different again at all after ShadowMoth overpowered her charms because she didn't wanted to give him another opportunity to grow in power yet again, to outsmart her powers and make her look bad in the public eyes.
Those are perfectly understandable reasons I could work with just fine and with those I would not take much issue with nothing being done again, if only the show actually would properly voice that and say that something Ladybug did simply wasn't well-handled with no "buts" and excuses about it from whatever angle or that her first attempt at something she just learned simply ended up not being good enough and that's it. Off to the second try then. It is baffling to me how much the show refuses to actually have that be the case and make it stick once in a while and not always sweep everything under the rug since Marinette really would need this experience with something just semi-important like Protection charms.
No I dont want to drink Marinette's tears for breakfast, I'm honestly just asking for an acknowledgement from the heros' side that the charms situation isn't ideal at all for quite a long time now and that they were suddenly asking alot of the civilian with this plan change of only focusing on the charms' emotional value, since the resistance through the charms can only be tested when the person is already Monarque's prey. And who of them is supposed to know what the hell HE is doing with his Transmission powers?
I don't even need a damn result, I just wanna see them talk about these things and do as much as brainstorming, which for all I care they can do while eating damn cake at one of their sleep overs or on a rooftop in fluffy blankets (btw this goes for Adrien and Alya too, I have very little respect for how the show had ALL the hero's handle this after "Dearest Family".)
I really don't like how almost.. entitled and without much hero's accountability at all this was handled by the narrative. We simply got NOTHING after 4x21 and in the big picture that resulted in the hero's basically saying "Hey this protection charm that had the power to protect you from the akuma when Shadowmoth/Monarque preys on you and emotionally manipulates you when you are in an emotional low-point and therefore extra vulnerable to him doesn't work like that anymore. So it's your job and your job alone to just not be vulnerable prey anymore, since we are not going to make a second attempt or take a different approach in anything no matter how ineffective our default ways have proven themselves to be by now."
What is currently happening has a bitter aftertaste of victim-blaming for me because there is 0 acknowledgement or communication from the heros' side and therefore I'm unwilling to give it a free pass through the understandable reasons I listed earlier and will elaborate further on later on. The charms were presented to the people as a way to fully protect them and the moment that stopped being true the heros seemingly just changed their minds, continued giving out the almost useless charms while making it now seem like it was the people's job all along to make Ladybug's overpowered charms work without guidance or any knowledge of Monarque's powers or anything magical in general.
Tumblr media
This is so frustrating because I'm barely asking for anything here. If the show had handled this with proper accountability a hero needs to take when a whole city relies on them through them simply talking about it and their reasons to each other (and somewhat the people) then I would have been fine with it. I'm not asking for groundbreaking results, I'm asking for the narrative to do its JOB by giving me the needed insight to these flawed characters mindsets through explicit dialogue and establishing scenes to enforce it. That's it. That's barely anything. Stop putting the understandable reasons into the subtext at most so fans can cherry-pick if they want the characters to be flawed or flawless, especially when it regards your main character.
How the hell are the the citizens supposed to know what Monarque is doing with those akumas and if he isn't powering them up depending on resistance level if already no-one knows how he is giving his victims their Miraculous powers? How are the people supposed to know that they even have a CHANCE of making this work when the heros' communicate nothing, change their mind on a whim and passively act like they did nothing wrong whatsoever and it's the civilians fault that the overpowered protection charms aren't keeping them save?
If it were that easy to just not be vulnerable prey anymore no protection charms would have ever been needed in the first place. Saying that it's ONLY the civilians' job to make the overpowered protection charms work now when the magical terrorist with emotion based powers intentionally preys on them while they are at their lowest is not something I have respect for AT ALL the way the show is pulling it til now.
The fact that up til now apparently NOTHING was allowed to be asked of the HEROS' again in such horrible circumstances when merely their FIRST attempt didn't turn out to be successful is audacious in my opinion. There is a fundamental difference between the civilians being ungrateful and needing to step up too & the magical, larger than life terror Monarque inflicts on the world and the civilians for a year now while using their mind and emotions against them simply REQUIRING magical protection and guidance that is actually reliable since non of this is anything close to normal.
I'm honestly not very willing to turn all of this onto the vulnerable civilian victims and demand that they alone pick up all the slack when they are at their lowest, alone with Monarque in their heads and on full blast of his manipulation and powers' influence, just because the heros want to entirely avoid acknowledging this and bringing up their shortcomings of bad times. I'm not watching a documentary, just do it please.
Tumblr media
I want to believe that the upcoming episode will actually solve my grievances here or at least part of it. Because there is so much potential here. That Ladybug, Chat Noir, Alya and maybe even the other members of the Resistance actually do basic hero work, have a conversation and BRAINSTORM on how to improve the charms situation that isn't working as it should. Maybe the shield thingy is a completely new thing and the result of the entire miraculous team. Dude, I will do cartwheels if that's gonna happen!
Or maybe it's an Evolution of Ladybug's protection charms that either gets manually added to it in the episode or - what I personally think is the case cause it would make the most sense for Marinette’s character - that the team works together to unlock a hidden stronger protection mode in the charms.
Maybe Marinette/Ladybug can continue her development of voicing her insecurities and we find out that the shield thingy here was her actual intention back in "Mr pigeon 72" when she created these charms straight out of her mind, and she admits that when she later saw that the protection charms do not protect the people the way she planned she got insecure out of fear that she hasn't mastered her creation powers the way she thought she had and then left it at that all together because she feared making things worse or disappointing everyone. Do you have any idea how okay I would be with that, nod my head and move on?
Maybe we can have Adrien/Chat Noir voice that he thought about bringing it up but he didn't know how to without possibly making Ladybug feel worse about herself. Or that he feared that if he brought it up she would ask him for help and he neither feels fit or suited to create such important things yet in Ladybug's stead nor does he dare yet to think about what the power of destruction could do to the civilians if they added his powers to the charms (to maybe undo the evilizing of the butterfly all together once the akuma touches the charm force field? Just an idea :I) cause he fears he can't control it 100%
Or this regards both Adrien and Alya. They both are depicted having the same insecurities as Marinette of fearing to not live up to what a Ladybug miraculous holder should be able to do "flawlessly". Have them VOICE that this is the reason for why both of them didn't try to create something themselves. This would literally VALIDATE Marinette/Ladybug not doing anything since 4x21!
Come on, give me something! PLEASE!
--
Oh and...
*SIGH*
I'm begging this show to not have M. Damocles be the only/ first one to develop the protection shield as civilian.
Miraculous, don't.
Don't do it.
DON'T.
Don't turn this into a situation of Ladybug's protection charms having been overpowered by ShadowMoth, who is an adult in a leadership position, and have it be solved by M. Damocles as key-character who is an adult in a freaking leadership position! Don't make me be petty again about Su-Han's insulting treatment in Marinette's girlboss guardian narrative. Don't prove him right after the shit you pulled in season 4 and "Multiplication".

THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN THEE BEST EPISODE TO DEMONSTRATE WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT LAST TIME
they had the whole setup!! they talked about how ladybug and chat noir always win! i can't!
but first. i love how you can tell the english va for hawkmoth either has kids or interacts with kids a lot bc of the way he talks to manon, but in his evil hawkmoth voice. and it's HILARIOUS
that was like the only thing i enjoyed about this episode tho. chat noir is once again made useless bc he was brainwashed by the akumatized person. his cataclysm was nearly completely useless. useful for the narrative, but useless on a meta-narrative scale, considering the writers, once again, couldn't figure out a way to better utilize his power.
the fact that ladybug, once again, single-handedly saves the day. and literally against 5 antagonists at once. like they keep telling us they're balanced when really??? like it's one thing to just say that and never show it. it's another to say that and completely contradict yourself in the show itself lmao. ladybug literally calling him "second in command" when they're supposed to be partners.
but anyway, i was literally talking about how good it would've been to show that ladybug needs chat noir just as much as chat noir needs ladybug. that the creator/writers really should have sat down and thought long and hard about how they wanted to make the miraculous work, esp ladybug's and chat noir's. bc they're supposed to balanced, so i hear. but this is, what, like the 10th time chat noir has proven to be completely useless either bc his cataclysm doesn't work or does nothing or he's literally brainwashed into working for the akumatized person.
and ladybug still saves the day! they could've had a whole season where they both save the day, neither of them ever get brainwashed. maybe some close calls with capture, but never brainwashed. and then suddenly manon comes in with a steel chair and talks about how it's unfair that marinette always plays with ladybug and chat noir, and always wins, and then parallel that with the narrative of manon getting akumatized!! raise the stakes!! show that ladybug can't beat the akuma without chat noir!! make us think ladybug is going to lose!!
it could've been sooooo good. but the writer's are sooooooooo bad.
anyway i think it's so funny 1) the dolls they had marinette make of the akumatized people; i want to know what made them choose those dolls specifically. i want to open up their brains. and 2) the fact that when marinette is describing what each akumatized person wanted, she went, "and then there was rogercop, but i'm not going to teach you about the intricacies of parisian politics and the abuse of power from our literal mayor, which is why he was akumatized and instead skip over to why hawkmoth akumatized them in the first place." like why have rogercop there then? why not just have like princess fragrance or someone??
i had one last point that related back to the creator using sailor moon as inspiration for the show but can't remember what that thought was. maybe it'll come back to me later.

They know where to find me?
...Airi, were you on the other night when I went Off about Marinette needing to go Full Slayer on the Guardians? 😂 This is that fic.
It's been festering since I raeg!typed it after..."Feast", I think. Before we knew anything about Su Han and the Guardians beyond They Kinda Suck. When fandom was first speculating about whether or not they'd come after Marinette now that they're back. And. Ok. Ranting for Everyone. 😂
I am Fully Aware of all that's come out about Joss Whedon the past few months. That being said, it does not change the fact that Whedon was a huge influence on my development as a storyteller. Buffy the Vampire Slayer came out when I was seven, and I grew up watching and rewatching and rewatching this incredible show. I followed Angel onto his own spinoff (I will never forgive Whedon for what he did to Cordelia and Fred). I followed Capt. Malcolm Reynolds and his ragtag crew across the 'verse. I stayed in the Dollhouse, I sent my application to Bad Horse, I laughed at Shakespeare, and I assembled when he stole Capt. America's shield. I know a lot of bad stuff has come out about Whedon, but that does not change how great an impact his stories had on me throughout my life.
That being said, "They Know Where to Find Me" was born from nothing more than my desperate need for Zagstruc to Man The Hell Up and have Marinette stand up to the Guardians Slayer-style (which, lbr, we know will never happen on a show like this, that totes 'female power' but cuts its female lead down at every available turn). In S3, the Watchers Council puts Buffy through a test where she loses her powers and has to defeat a strong (crazy) vampire they send her way. When all is said and done, Quentin (the Council emissary) tells Buffy she passed, and she tells him to bite her. "You sent that thing after my mother - I think you better leave town before I get my powers back." Two seasons later, when Buffy if fighting a literal god, Quentin shows back up to put her through another test to deem if she's 'worthy' of the information they have on Glory. And, once again, Buffy tells them to piss off.
I need that Moment for Marinette. I need Marinette to step into her own power, into her identity as Ladybug, and tell the Guardians to piss off. I need her to tell them, "If they want my Miracle Box, they know where to find me. I'm done following their rules. They're not fighting this war - I am. They want it? They can try and take it."
...which is about the only line I'm 100% committed to in this fic. 😂 The idea is the Guardians come to 'evaluate' Marinette (possibly sending a kwami emissary - I have notes about an alpaca kwami named Pacca), and by the end she's just Done. She calls a meeting with her team and the Emissary, and she drops her spots and tells the Emissary off. "I make the rules now. Hawkmoth is my enemy. You've been sleeping the entire time we've been fighting. You have anything useful, I'm right here. Otherwise get the hell out of my city."

Say, I'm really curious. About the ladynoir fallout, do you think revealing her identity will solve the problem? I've seen many story using this formula. Adrien break up the partnership > return the ring > Marinette now realize > revealing identity > Adrien forgive her because it is the girl he loves. Personally I think revealing the identity won't solve the problem, not by much at least. But also Adrien is really forgiving and I'm not sure to what extend. Would he forgive her easily if he know about Rena furtive and her plan in ephemeral second-hand rather than from ladybug's mouth? Keeping him out of the loop is one thing but her attempt to manipulate him to give her his identity? I think that cross the limit.
No, I don't believe an identity reveal will solve this conflict. Because this conflict is caused by two people's own traits feeding the conflict (@flightfoot did a very good analysis on that) rather than being fed by the secret identity. If Ladybug was making an effort to be more aware that some of her decisions might impact their duo and if Chat Noir was able to voice his vulnerabilities and self-doubts, the conflict wouldn't be as big.
I don't think people realized how formidable Truth and Lies work as Season intro. Not only they well re-establish where the team stands, but also offer insights what the character arcs will be about this season.
At the beginning of the season, Marinette is overwhelmed. She is all alone trying to juggle with several responsabilities at the same time and trying to accomplish a lot to the point she is neglecting her relationship with her partner (both Luka who is her romantic partner and Chat Noir who is her work partner). And she hides things from everyone in order to protect them.
Adrien doesn't know himself and let other decides who he should be. Being Chat Noir offers him a break from the life dictated to him, but he doesn't know what to do with himself when Ladybug isn't there. We see him bored. He still does his patrol, but it isn't as fun to the point he is depressed.
Afterwards, the rest of the season proceed in showing how things are changing between them... and slowly falling apart despite 3 seasons of team building.
From Ladybug's perspective, things are still the same as they were. She doesn't realize how she is sidelining Chat Noir nor doesn't realize that her decisions are affecting him. She expects Chat Noir will always be comprehensive and trust her nonetheless like he has always done. The secret identity between them is there to protect them and their Miraculous. Sure it complicates things sometimes, but it is still manageable. And she has access to all those other heroes if she needs.
Chat Noir is the opposite. He notices and learns things on the side. He has more and more questions than he gets answers to. Starts to doubt himself, his worth in Ladybug's team. And he downplays his feelings. Because Ladybug has already so much in her plate. She already has the pressure of saving Paris, protecting the citizens and trying to stop Shadow Moth. Those are her priorities. And Chat Noir doesn't want to bother her with what he feels on top on all that. She doesn't have to deal and be responsible of his feelings (Glaciator 2) and she doesn't own him anything either (Hack-san). He follows LB's lead, not because he loves her, but because he trusts her. She is brillant, amazing, has proven again and again she will find the solution, that her plan will work. She is always right or will do the right thing in the end.
But the question that is starting to sprout in his mind at this point is does she truly trust him back? He is a burden? Does it really matter if he doesn't show up in the end up? Would she be better off without him around?
The "You and me against the world" statement is not applying anymore. Their dynamic has changed. Their team is not what it used to be. There are more and more new heroes adding up. Where does Chat Noir stand in all this?
Fortunately, the Wishmaker episode had the benefits of having Adrien think of his future. But first, he has to figure out who he is in order to better know what he wants for himself. However, Adrien downplaying his feelings and bottling them up is not because he wants to, but because it is a defense mechanism he had to learn to do in order to avoid problems in his household. And he has a lot to unlearn there. He is allowed to be vulnerable and be heard.
Marinette on the other hand is learning to trust others and delegate, but she also got to stop micro-managing everything (lesson she got in Simpleman).
To me, a part of the solution is first have them sit down and have a goddamn talk. Ladybug has to restablish she trusts Chat Noir and why he is important to her. And Chat Noir has to be honest and open up about how he has felt lately. But there is also a need for actions to be taken. That is why Chat Noir getting his own set of responsabilities could help both of them. Ladybug would be less burdened and Chat Noir would feel valued. Bonus point if Chat Noir is the one with the initiative and offers to be responsible of this task and Ladybug allow him to have it.
It may take more than that, but at least, this would offer some ground for them to work with and rebuild their duo. Or so I think.

LISTEN LISTEN LISTEN OK
IM SORRY IM JUST A RUSH OF ADRENALINE RN BC ASL;FKJSLKDFJSAFLKJASFL;
BUT I THINK THE ALYA KNOWS PLOT DEVELOPMENT IS SO SO GOOD OK
i know some people are probably mad that alya knows before chat noir but please do not forget these important things!!!
alya is marinette's BEST FRIEND. chat may also be one of her best friend but alya is her bestie bestie
alya is rena rouge—aka, the first ever miraculous holder that marinette picked. chat noir is her partner and nothing can take away from that! but when the time came for marinette to pick her own ally, alya was the first person she turned to
alya has proven her loyalty and trustworthiness to marinette again and again!!!!! SHE'S A GENUINELY GOOD FRIEND OK. how many times has alya ended up babysitting on marinette's behalf when she had to bail??? how many times has she helped her come up with plans to confess to adrien??? (and no she is not "forcing" them together—marinette asks for her help with it all the time.) how many times has she comforted marinette and been there for her and stood up for her??? (if you're still salty about chameleon ack i dont have room on this post but send me an ask and i'll fite u aslkfjdsjkf)
in this very episode alya just proved what an INCREDIBLY POWERFUL AND TRUSTWORTHY ally she really is because she was the first person ever to reject akumatization AFTER THE FACT...THROUGH SHEER WILLPOWER AND THE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP LIKE OMG. ladybug said "im ur friend and i need you" and alya said BOOOM IN UR FACE PEAMOTH!!!!! i love my friend ladybug and my friend marinette so much that i will break through barriers no one ever has before!!!! my loyalty and power are endless!!!!!!" gAH im crying she's amazing what
and now??????? marinette will finally have a friend she can rely on as both a civilian AND a superhero!!! alya can cover for her, help her protect the secret, help her figure out the guardian stuff, whatever! marinette said "it's too complicated to be marinette so i have to be ladybug all the time" but now she can finally find a balance because she has one person she doesn't have to lie to—not just any person but her best friend in the world, who will go to any length to support and protect her friend. just. im so emo about this it's perfect ok
and tbh it kind of makes more sense for alya to know at this point than for chat to know? bc hawkmoth would assume that chat noir knows than he would assume that rena rouge knows. and chat is in action more often and is in more danger of being captured and compelled to tell ladybug's secret. alya can now be an ally who supports behind the scenes and comes in when needed as rena rouge but does not have the same target on her back as CN does

Miraculous Ladybug, Cat Noirs future
Miraculous Ladybug season 4 has definitely proven itself to be one very interesting season, every episode thus far has presented some major twist, plot reveal and has even set up a variety of small hidden problems capable of  coming back to haunt the characters of the show. But of all the issues presented thus far within season 4, it appears one issue in particular has begun to circle around the miraculous fandom, causing an enormous amount of worry. The issue I am refereeing to is of course cat noirs sudden lack of assistance within the miraculous superhero team.
Tumblr media
What exactly lead fans to feel this way? well, in the episode “lies”, we discover that after the events of “miracle queen”, cat noir had since been left alone for days at a time to watch over Paris with no word of ladybugs whereabouts
Tumblr media
, of course we as the viewers know she is busy trying to maintain all her new responsibilities as guardian of the miracle box, but the fact that she never once bothered to consider informing cat noir of her sudden disappearance has left many to realize cat noir is once again being left out of the loop and is just as much in the dark as when ladybug kept Master Fu and the other superheroes identities a secret from him back in episode  “syren”.
Despite ladybugs new found responsibilities, we see in “lies” that  she does in fact wonder about what cat noir thinks of her now that she is the new guardian, when asked, cat noir simply states, “ if it doesn't change things between us, then I'm good with it”.
Tumblr media
Despite the worry cat noir had about not being included within ladybugs life as much as he used to be, ladybug and him manage to reconnect with one another in the midst of their fight against truth seeker and lies, providing cat noir a moment of relief from his worry of wondering if ladybugs new guardian duties have left her to busy to ever consider his time necessary ...and yet despite this reconnection, many fans couldn't help but continue to feel worried for cat noir....especially after what ladybug did in “gang of secrets”.
In “gang of secrets”, after no longer being able to bare with the heavy responsibilities as both ladybug and guardian, Marinette finally breaks down and decides to reveal to Alya that she is ladybug!
Tumblr media
Unfortunately, ever since this reveal occurred, ladybug has been shown to become more dependent on the abilities of other miraculous heroes to help her defeat a villain rather than have cat noir assist her as he normally does. Granted, its not her, nor cat noirs fault this keeps occurring, after all, the problems he and ladybug are facing in season 4 have become to difficult to resolve with their abilities alone, they need help! but its precisely this extra help which as made cat noir appear to many as inferior and unneeded within every akuma attack.
As this sudden pattern continued throughout season 4, some fans began to feel as if the show was leading up to a disaster similar to cat blanc, others felt the show was planning to have cat noir be replaced by Rena Rouge. Regardless of what some believe, if he does feel like he is being left behind and unneeded, its no surprise why he would feel this way, after all, its not the first time something like this has happened. Back in episode “syren” cat noir specifically states how much he hates having so many secrets revolving around his friendship with ladybug, he knows why she has to keep these secrets but it does not make him feel any better knowing she cant fully trust him, the one person who has stood by her through thick and thin!.
If this situation between him and ladybug is truly beginning to resurface then what could possibly happen to finally convince cat noir that no matter the number of changes and no matter how much ladybug is relying on new superheroes, he and ladybug will always be together and still have the close bond they always had before she became guardian? well...what if the answer was already hinted.
On June 22, 2021,  Winny (aka a member of the miraculous staff), released to the public a teaser of a future episode within season 4 of Miraculous Ladybug series, the picture teased was something we had already seen before, it was a picture of ladybug holding the miracle box.
Tumblr media
and yes, I understand we have seen this image hundreds of times already, it is after all the main picture pose used for ladybug in the season 4 title card.... however ! , judging by ladybugs body figure within the teaser image, many of us have since come to the realization that this teaser of ladybug holding the miracle box ....may actually be an image of ADULT ladybug holding the miracle box!
Tumblr media
So then, what does this mean? it means season 4 may include an episode where ladybug and cat noir... meet their future selves!
Now, seeing future ladybug and cat noir has always been something many fans had been hoping for ever since we get our first glance at future ladybug and cat noir in “time tagger”...the only problem was... we only ever got to see their backs!
Tumblr media
However, despite all the excitement over future ladybug and chat noirs possible appearance, I couldn't help but wonder what kind of impact they would cause in the past rather than just take the regular “oh look! their future selves are in the past!” type of storyline.
Well, If cat noir is truly feeling as if he is loosing his bond with ladybug then perhaps it was never ladybug who was meant to give him the closure he needed to know for sure he and ladybug would always be partners, perhaps this was always something he was meant to figure out on his own by talking to the one person who knew him better than ladybug... himself!
Bunnyx always said there was a time for everything and if cat noir and ladybug will really have the chance to meet their future selves, then perhaps it will finally be cat noirs time to receive the answer to the one question he has always wondered about since “Time tagger”, his future relationship with ladybug!
Tumblr media
When bunnyx was first introduced she talks about having already remembered how her younger self would evidently meet her future self, well, odds are, future cat noir will have already been aware of the fact that he will also evidently  meet his younger self.... except it wont just be to stop a villain....rather, it will be his time to provide the words of encouragement his younger self needed the moment in his life where he knew he felt the most unsure of his future with ladybug!
Where am I going with this? well, what if , just maybe, this one moment between both cat noirs.... is a moment meant to finally reveal to young cat noir how ladybug and him will always be together and fight alongside one another, not just as friends...but as husband and wife! I’d imagine this revelation would be one secret cat noir would be more than willing  to keep to himself and look upon anytime he feels like he is being left behind, because no matter what changes may come, no matter how many new superheroes join their team and no matter how many struggles they may face, cat noir will at least be happy to know that he and ladybug will truly be together forever ....but hey!, that’s just a theory...a miraculous ladybug theory!

Cat Noir's hatred in Dark Cupid (after he was affected by the bow) was a reflection of his love for Ladybug. And he very much loathed her.

So Marinette's having a breakdown from all the pressure while Adrien's having an identity crisis. They're fine. This is fine. We're fine.

Final reaction:
Tumblr media
I saw that, Chat.
You CANNOT tell me him heing sidelined is intentional after THIS face.
Clearly, the, "I need you," phrase that has been keeping him going is... not quite true anymore.
Because Rena Rouge is there (again, not complaining. Please don't take this the wrong way), and Ladybug also needs her. Except she knows all the secrets.
And he's the one being left behind.
It's like having to stay behind two of your friends because all three of you don't fit in the hallway.
Also note that he's that one friend no one really knows about, but they become friends because they're friends with his friend (quoted from unknown, I forgot). This was proven in Felix where the class almost immediately believed Felix's video because, "we've only known him since we came back from summer break,"
Chloe is also pushing him away too. Notice that the Ladynoir entrance cinema scene in Gang of Secrets kind of parallels with the Chloe and Adrien entrance cinema scene in Queen Banana?
The most important thing he can contribute is support. But if people won't let him do that, he's.. just nothing. Just a plastic bag flying mid-air.
And with Nathalie being the only one really taking care of him before (quoted from Adrien's Double Life) now being sick, I wanna cry.
He's that lonely now.
Anyhow, if HE'S the secret villain this entire time, I will riot and cause chaos.

Let's Talk: Adrien's Advice In Chameleon
So apparently people use Adrien's advice in Chameleon to salt on him?? *Inhales* BOI-
You have to understand that Adrien didn't know Lila threatened Marinette, making him think she's just another bully on the block who demands attention and gets it by lying.
His tip was:
"Do you really think exposing her would make things better?"
NO. It'll only make things worse and that's been proven in Volpina.
"If you humiliate her, she'll just be hurt more,"
YES. From Adrien's point of view, Lila started hating on Ladybug becuase she humiliated her in front of her crush. Hurting her more will just give her motivation to be more evil.
"Making a bad guy suffer has never turned them into a good guy,"
MOST DEFINITELY YES. And this quote, ladies and gentlemen, made me love Adrien even more (don't even bring up arresting criminals here as making them suffer, that's their PUNISHMENT).
Adrien is definitely the most mature character when it comes to dealing with bad people (he seriously LIVES WITH TWO). Exposing Lila under the circumstances in Chameleon will just backfire to Marinette.
Lila needs to LEARN. And by learn, it doesn't mean exposing, it means that she has to watch her lies unravel to chaos and discover ALL BY HERSELF that this is all her fault. NOT because Adrien and Marinette exposed her; that cancels the "learning" part and she will definitely just be motivated more, like I said.
Plus, Adrien already put Lila back to her place when she goes too far (Onichan, Ladybug), so just MOVE THE HECK ON??
