Fromis_9 As Your Vampire Mothers
Lee Saerom (Alpha Vampire)
Tumblr media
Ah, Saerom the Alpha of the clan and known to be one of the most ruthless in the sister clan
You'd think being the husband under her wing would be rather unpleasant but it's the exact opposite under her care
Saerom is literally amazing as she can juggle her responsibilities of being your wife, mother, and the Alpha of the clan
Literal softie for children such as yourself but when someone dares challenge her demeanor changes 360 degrees
Very... Very... Very... Patient, you could break a vase but if she sees it's nothing but an accident she'll forgive you
But don't let her soft and caring side fool you... If you dare misbehave she will not hesitate to correct that
Besides who are you to complain? You are married to one of the strongest and most powerful Vampire in the clan and she chose you
Privileges: She'd let you lay on her chest and lap, play with her hair, hug her almost whenever (If she's not too busy), give you all the breast milk you want, and most importantly, be under her adoration
Song Hayoung (1st Enforcer)
Tumblr media
Being the number one enforcer besides Jiwon can be quite challenging but not to her
She'd go through the entire world just for you and that's how much you mean to her
At the beginning, you were neglected, abused, starved, shivered, you name it
When she came into your life and took you under her care, that all changed instantly
Hayoung would swear to herself that she'll protect you no matter what happens and obligated to care and nurture you for life
She'd be the wife and mother you'd never had growing up and she fits perfectly in the role
But at the same time just like Saerom, she won't hesitate to discipline you if you act up and establish rules to keep you safe and in order
Privileges: Lots of cuddles, play with her hair, sings you soft lullabies, having warm cooked meals from her, and lay on her lap
Park Jiwon (2nd Enforcer)
Tumblr media
Although she is the second Enforcer, she is a video game addict but cannot play as much but it's a perfect excuse to spend more time with you
Loves to go out on shopping sprees with you and spoils the daylights out of you
But do not fear, her bank account is quite big and none of the bills hardly put a dent in it
Would take out to ice skate rings, she would always be attentive and hold your hand while teaching you how to skate on the ice to ensure you won't trip and injure yourself
Despite being a horror film addict throughout her entire life, she'd sadly could not watch as much as you were too young to watch such movies
That was until you were in your teenage years and that's when she began regularly watching horror movies with you and it's another excuse for her to cuddle you
Most importantly, she be a strong figure for you to look up to when growing up and would always teach you to be respectful and kind torwards others
Except that would be easier said than done as Jiwon is afraid of pigeons and despite being over 100s of years old she never got over that fear but you'd find it funny which is a win for her
Privliges: Lots and lots of cuddles, spoils you with gifts, being able to laugh at her when she gets frightened from pigeons, and always making free time just for you even if she's busy
Roh Jisun (Blood Sister)
Tumblr media
Jisun would lowkey be the chillest and laid back mother and wife you'd come across in the Vampire Sisterhood
But she's hard working and would often be the one leading the kitchen, she plans on the menus and what the kids will be eating on certain days and ensure it's all balanced and nutritious
Growing up under her care, you'd find her quite strange at how "indefinite" she can be at times
One time, you'd accidentally dropped a plate because it slipped out of your hands and Jisun would calmly told you to sweep it up
Jisun never once yelled at you nor has she lashed out her anger once from what you can tell
Regardless, Jisun knows she has a duty to tend to and that includes taking care of you, she changed your diaper, gave you baths, feed you, and breastfeed you
But she prefers for you to start learning how to solve problems on your own with little or no help from her unlike her sisters and it's her way of indirectly teaching you problem solving skills but if it's a major issue then that's when she steps in
"M-mommy, I-uhm... Broke a vase... I'm sorry..." You confessed and she intently stared at you... "Well, what are you suppoesd to do?" She asked you. "Uhm, sweep it?" You guessed and she chuckled. "Then why are you telling me this? You know what to do!" She pointed out.
Privileges: Despite her hard demeanor she'd always be there to give you all the hugs and kisses you need, she'd read bedtime stories, let's you watch cartoons, and go outside playing
Lee Seoyeon (Blood Sister)
Tumblr media
Seoyeon would be quite blunt and straightforward with no time to be wasted and she is a proud mother and wife
Because of this, Seoyeon would always be the mother and wife to support you on your goals and dreams and will provide you anything that you need
Seoyeon would often be given the task of babysitting whenever her sisters are away from home but boy she can manage her clan's children including her own
You'd see her left and right cleaning the house and always tending to her husband to make sure he's happy and healthy
But at times when she is relaxing, she is having a movie marathon with you in her room, and takes naps with you
Beware though she is possessive and strict with you... She'd always be holding hands and walking with you wherever you may go ensuring nobody takes her baby away from her
Sometimes be overprotective but that's because you are her world and life. She sworn to protect you no matter the cost
Has a strong and sensible taste in fashion that you would pick up after her, you two would often go clothes shopping picking out outfits when she was free
Privileges: Gifts you plushies, having a mentor in fashion, sneaks you gummy bears and milk tea, and maybe lets you oversleep if she is staying in bed with you
Lee Chaeyoung (Blood Sister)
Tumblr media
Chaeyoung just like Seoyeon can be quite blunt but is more teasing and loves to have power over you
Your relationship dynamic between you and her is unique, Chaeyoung would be happy to teach you how to be a gentlemen and how you should properly treat a lady
As your mother and wife, it's also her duty to make sure that all adult topics are held off until you are of age so she has to be becareful on what she says and do though she likes to throw some hints there and then
Regardless, she absolutely adores you, she hardly ever leaves your side and always there to comfort and nurse you whenever you cry for her attention
But she also shares the duty of babysitting with Seoyeon and would switch shifts. But Chaeyoung can handle all of her sister's and her own children all on her own
She is not afraid to show any or shower you with her motherly affection towards you in public or in private as she is one poud momma
Loves to have your head on her chest and lap giving her the oppurtunity to stroke your hair and take sleepy pictures of you
But as you grow older, Chaeyoung's expectations get higher and would expect you to cater to her sexual desires and not be afraid to speak of your needs to her
Privliges: Being able to speak freely, would feed you delicious homemade food and snacks, give backhugs, lay on her nude chest, and would give you photos to keep on you so you can think about her when she's not around you
Lee Nagyung (Scout Vampire)
Tumblr media
Nagyung can be seriously chaotic due to her hyper energy and even at times acts like a kid herself despite her old age
But Nagyung knows how to control that energy and is very aware how much damage she can do to you as you are a human and can easily be broken with a Vampire's brute super strength
You would often find yourself playing with Nagyung either in the park or in the playroom
Sometimes she may or may not forget to follow the naptime scheldules and would be scolded many times from Hayoung and Jiwon
Nagyung would love to cuddle and snuggle you and prefers you to be on top of her so she can hug you tightly
When you are at a legal age, Nagyung would barely wear any pants or shorts and would only wear her panties at home which you didn't mind
Not only it's more comfortable for Nagyung but it's a way for her to get your attention and she'd giggle and tease you whenever she catches you staring
Nagyung doesn't mind showing off a bit to you or her sisters but she had to be mindful that she cannot show in front of their husbands
Privileges: Again lots of cuddles, lots of playtime inside and outside, seeing her cute and energetic side, will do aegyo for you, and lets you watch her change
Baek Jiheon (Youngest Blood)
Tumblr media
Although this sunshine Vampire is the youngest of her sisters, that doesn't make her any less mature and knows what's best for her husband
Absolutely smart, she graduated the top of her class in the academy and will help you any way if you get stuck on a question
It warms her sister's hearts seeing how well you two bond despite Jiheon adopting you at an early age as Vampires her age don't adopt their husband until they are around 250 years old and Jiheon is only 75 years old
Jiheon will be willing to do anything to help contribute to the clan along with her sisters and will often times juggle her responsibilities between being your wife/mother and her duties in the clan
At nights, Jiheon would be reading you bedtime stories and singing lullabies until you fall asleep in her arms
Movie nights are a must for her because that's a special tradition in your guy's relationship even if you are fully grown adult you've never grown tired of it and that makes Jiheon happy
But there are times when you may act up and boy, she would not tolerate bad behavior and I gurantee she will deliver a reasonable punishment
Jiheon would often be the one running her sister's errands being the youngest so she brings you along as an excuse to spend more time with you
Privileges: Seeing her adorable smile, lots of cuddles and snuggles, lets you choose the movies, let's you play outside, and having a tutor

•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
You sat in the window seat of your room in the orphanage, reading a book on animals of all kinds. The stuffed animals were perched along the ledge as well as on your rocking chair and the bed. They were the selected few the orphanage caretakers provided to keep you entertained, even though you were 'almost' eighteen, you wanted to keep them with you. A wardrobe stood up on the north wall–the same as the bed–at the foot of the bed frame. In the corner your body faced, was a cabinet with drawers and a few unimportant dusty objects that were on top. A simple faded green circle rug sat in the middle of the wooden floor with books of all kinds laid out open to the crisp air. Your plain light blue dress was spread out around your legs keeping your pale skin covered, and your waist long hair was pinned back nicely in its normal half up half down style you were always instructed to wear.
A gentle breeze came over you through the crack of the opened glass pane window, causing you to look down at the big front yard. Other kids played with outdoor games or dolls in the grass under the great oak trees; but you stayed inside in your personal assigned room for two reasons: one, the kids were frightened of the cold behavior you possessed around them and two, you were a vampire and was afraid they would be suspicious of how you did not behave like them. But you, out of everyone who stayed in the orphanage, only knew of your dark secret and had been determined to keep it that way. The sun was blocked behind the gloomy sky in the afternoon sky as the day went on; today was the day that no one had to go to the medical room for a check up.
The rain stopped thirty minutes ago, allowing the kids to play outside. Most kids that arrived here were sick and went under special treatments. But rumor has it that the treatments didn't turn into anything else but death. The caretakers favored treating you because of your dead like appearance and no matter what they put into you it would never make a difference. Of course you knew exactly why and the caretakers were slowly beginning to exploit what you were with each test. Something they injected into your neck did weaken you for a few minutes and made you lethargic which you did not like. But because you were a vampire you came back to your senses quickly and the caretakers would act as if nothing happened and that you were healthy.  Not really fitting in and being the weird freak out of the bunch of kids that come and go here was beginning to feel stressful without anyone to relate to in this place.
Your abilities are to speak with any type of animal as well as take control of their mind and body. You tried your best to hide your gift as it previously caused trouble and damage to you back at the old orphanage you stayed at.
~Back at the previous orphanage~
Outside near the kitchen side of the building, hidden in the forest trees, you hunted for your next meal. All the other kids could eat freely with each other, while you took your food that the kitchen maids prepared for you to the woods where you could properly dispose of it and eat your kind of food. When you had gotten a rabbit to eat, one of the newcomers that arrived two days ago took interest in you and secretly followed you into the forest without you knowing. He didn’t find anything suspicious until you turned around freezing in place.  Finding him standing a few feet behind you brought panic into your mind. Jungwon, who was also a vampire, was not surprised or scared like you had thought he would be. He only told you to be careful of how you hunted and then left without another word. But you ignored his warning and continued to live the way you wanted, Jungwon being with you every step you dared to take.
   >>>
The forest was beginning to become dusk as you walked back to the orphanage after drinking your third animal that day. As you stepped over a fallen log, a sudden twig snapped behind you. Pausing, you stayed still using your hearing to detect anyone around. After a few seconds of waiting, you heard nothing happening, so you continued to walk on. But not even taking two steps forward, a hand catches your wrist turning you around mid-step. You were then standing face to face with Jungwon. He was holding his index finger up to his lips to tell you to be quiet. Your defense cleared your mind once you figured out it was him who grabbed you.
"What are you doing out here at this hour?!" he whisper-shouted. You huffed pulling away from his strong grip.
"Eating," you replied, with a shrug. He sighed in frustration, glancing at the forest cautiously.
"If you don’t be careful someone will notice," he warned you. You rolled your eyes and began to walk again in the direction of the orphanage.
"I will be fine, you worry too much Wonnie," you teased him. He caught up with you and grabbed your hand.
"I worry because I care about you," he explained, sternly. “Do you remember what I told you that day by the pond?” Jungwon asked you. You sighed, turning to face him.
“We will protect each other for eternity,” you recited to him. He nodded, bringing his hand up to brush your hair behind your ear.
“I meant it, I want you to be safe, okay?” he spoke gently.
You smiled with a short nod and gave him a sweet kiss on his lips. Then continued to walk with him to the edge of the forest where you both could see the big stone house. You both walked up the side of the building rounding the corner to the front door. Reaching the great double doors, he stopped you from continuing into the orphanage.
"I love you, you know that right?" he asked in a whisper. So that any prying ears didn’t hear.
“I love you too,” you whispered back, giving his hand a squeeze.
Jungwon and you connected immediately after your first encounter, it did take a few days to talk to each other after the incident in the forest, but you two were inseparable after that. You both did everything together in secret to avoid suspicion. Jungwon was caring, protective, and loyal to you. He was your best friend and soulmate, the very strong bond was growing the more you two were around each other. It would be unbreakable soon enough.
Unfortunately the bond went to ruins in a matter of hours, the next morning very early when the days began to stay dark longer. You were in the upstairs living room reading a book by the fireplace using the light to see the words on the pages. Some footsteps brought you out of the world of ink. Before you could process any action, you were grabbed by two males that were much bigger than you, they pulled you up and dragged you down the stairs. You did not dare to make a sound as the other kids were fast asleep. The men took you outside down the dirt path to the front of the gate to a wagon that was parked close to the road.
The dawn was still far from peeking over the horizon, the only light was the lanterns on the wagon. All the while in the distance stood the headmistress who watched you be taken away with relief. The wood scraped your back at the force they used to hall you up into the wagon. Taking one last glance at the house, fear and pain filled your heart as you realized Jungwon didn’t know you were being taken. He would be so worried and heartbroken. You can’t just leave him.
“Jungwon!!” you suddenly shouted out, startling the men in the wagon. They quickly silenced you before you could call once more. As the world around you went dark and the sound and movement of the wagon began to drive away from the orphanage leaving your heart clenched in pain. Your bond ached for the presence of your soulmate.
In the later morning, Jungwon made his way through the whole house trying to find you, the confusion and fear blocking his mind was making him dizzy. As he entered the family room, he noticed a book turned over on the floor next to the fireplace. He came up to the book and picked it up, finding that it was the same one you had been reading.
“They took her early this morning,” a soft voice spoke behind him. Jungwon looked over his shoulder seeing a boy with black hair and pale skin around his age standing in the doorway holding a teddy bear. His name was Sunoo.
“Who took her?” he asked, he could feel his own eyes turn at the thought of someone hurting you. Sunoo shrugged.
“Someone, who doesn’t like vampires,” he responded. Jungwon stood up rushing up to him, getting up in his face.
“What makes you think there are vampires here?” he questioned as if it was a threat. Sunoo let out a giggle.
“You're not the only vampire who lives in this building,” he whispered. Jungwon backed away in shock. What? He is a vampire too? How is that possible? Just then another guy much taller than Jungwon and Sunno came in. His name was Heeseung, Jungwon remembered.
“Sunoo, leave him be,” he ordered. “The others are waiting,” Was he also a vampire?
“I'll be around if you need our help.” without another word Sunoo left the room. Jungwon sighed looking at the open window.
“I will find you," he vowed, speaking aloud as if you could hear him.
~Back to present orphanage~
You had not seen Jungwon since that early spring morning, leaving you to fall into a depressive state, everyday the pain in your heart grew as the days dragged on without Jungwon. But about two weeks ago, it was going to be your three year anniversary of your stay at this orphanage. One partly cloudy afternoon, you were outside when a hummingbird flew down to your figure, who was placed in the middle of the garden, squatting down to the plants picking the required daily rations of herbs for the kitchen. At first you were not interested and irritated with its presence, but after a few tries to grab your attention, you finally looked up at the bird sitting on the little wooden label stuck in the ground. You had found a little skinny white ribbon in its beak. Your eyebrows furrowed in confusion as you gently took the string and plucked a basil leaf tying the ribbon around it then gave it back to the hummingbird. Sending it back where it traveled from.
Another week went by, around eight o’clock in the morning the same hummingbird came back this time to your window with a little note tied to its foot. You rushed to the window, opening it letting him come in. Once you retrieved the note it said, 'Wait for me.' Jungwon. You sat all day long with butterflies in your stomach trying to understand the message. A call from outside by the headmistress broke your train of memories. The boys and girls got called inside for afternoon tea and snacks making you mentally cringe. As for you, the thought of food other than blood did not peak your interest. Speaking of snacks, it was almost pre-feeding time, which was only one hour.
Closing the book on your knees, you began to stand up when a sudden movement came from outside of the window down in the trees. You looked to the distant trees near the edge of the forest immediately spotting a tall male around your age leaning against a tall tree. He was looking right at you with curious eyes, he had chestnut brown hair and his clothes were a different style then the boys who stayed here. His eyes were like a doe's and he also had a soft handsome face and seemed to be fairly tall. Your eyes remained on him until a few kids came back outside to collect their toys distracting you for a second. When you looked back at the male he had vanished. Humming in confusion, you shrugged it off walking away from the window.
Right around supper time, you finally needed to eat. Placing the last book back onto the shelf, you straightened up moving to the closed door reaching out to the door handle. When you opened the door however two female caretakers stood at the door blocking the way out. Their faces looked soft and friendly.
“The headmistress wants to see you, come with us,” the first one informed you. Feeling nervous and uncertain, you nodded slowly and followed them down to the left of the hall, but instead of moving more to the left to go downstairs to the office, they moved to the right. So you continued to walk past the entertainment room then down another hall reaching the end of it to the last door on the right. A feeling of dread came to your mind as the door opened and your body began to retreat from it. The second female caretaker caught your arm before you could rush back to your room. Quickly, she silenced you by covering your mouth with her hand, she then had help from the first caretaker and together they dragged you down the wooden flight of stairs down into the basement. The treatments were held down here, only, it was not a new month, so your treatment was already completed.
Fear clouded your mind as the stairs became more and more less, you did not know why you were being brought down here, but you did not like it.
“Please, my treatment is already complete! Why am I down here?” you asked as you fought their grip. Of course you got no answer. As your feet touched the cold damp stone floor, a male caretaker met the three of you at the end of the steps to help control your erratic behavior.   Fighting the attempt to use your full strength, the door to the hallway leading to the room was in view now. Unfortunately, it was not an examination hall, no, it was an experiment hall with the metal chairs in the center of the room. The dimly lit hallway showed the headmistress of the orphanage standing with her arms folded neatly in front of her. A fierce look of determination and disgust plastered on her pug like face.
"Why am I going to the experiment chairs?" you frantically questioned her. She smiled reassuringly, which you saw right through.
"Just a few extra tests we need to do," she simply replied. You panicked by stuttering out noises  of confusion. She gave a blank expression before giving a small nod to the door to her right. Without another moment to spare, the male caretaker began to drag you to the hallway.
"No! Please! Call it off?!" you cried out. "I don't want to be tested!!" No one listened. You tried to break free without using your vampire strength, but it didn't work as well as you wanted. The door opened and the hallway came into sight. Your body was forced forward; there were small windows above the doors on both sides lining the hall, the sun was beginning to set giving the atmosphere an orange hue.
A door, five rooms down from the main door, opened and a few female nurses surrounded the small box-like room working on setting up medical equipment. In the center a chair with leather straps was standing. Something in you snapped as soon as your eyes came in contact with the metal chair, shoving your arm hard to the right, you sent the male to your right into the wall making it cave in slightly. A different male to your left immediately grabbed your free arm only to struggle shortly after to keep his hold on you. Before any more damage could happen from you, a sharp sting came from the nape of your neck. You screamed in pain, then reaching back to your neck gripping the object, you pulled it around to your eyes, it was a syringe with a blue residue left in the tube. No! Slowly you began to lose control of your surroundings, slumping to the floor as your vision faded into darkness.
***
You woke up in a forest full of trees, it was dull and misty outside around early morning. The birds sang sweetly in the trees and life in the forest was starting to wake up. Looking around the surrounding area, you noticed someone standing off in the distance. Walking closer, the person was wearing a gray blue sweater that had a hood, it was a strange style and looked from a different century. He seemed to have been looking around like he was lost until his eyes fell upon you. It was Jungwon. You felt as if your heart jumped to your throat, he was standing in front of you. Dashing a few feet ahead to close the distance between you both to touch him; a sudden invisible glass like wall trapped you from going any farther. You screamed out his name but he couldn't hear your cries.
Then the scene changed to a warm homey living room you had never seen before, but it wasn't the one that looked like a home, more like a boarding house. There were seven boys entertaining one another with a piano or dancing while some of them sat on a sofa laughing. A certain boy in the corner caught your eye immediately, it was Jungwon again. He was also watching the others play before his gaze turned straight to you. A smirk came along his face as he tilted his head to the side slightly, giving you a peek of his fangs. Found you.
***
Jerking awake on the experiment chair, your body felt like led, it was only limited by the leather straps buckled down along your fatigued figure. The room was dark except for the small spotlight above you; to the right in the faint light was the door and a rolling table that had surgery tools displayed. Your senses heightened when your nose smelled something intensely sweet. Your mouth started to feel dry and tight, glancing to the table next to you was a bowl that held a deep crimson red liquid. Blood. But it smelled different, it was much more sweet then the blood you normally consumed. It was human blood.
One nurse was present in the room, but she was busy taking notes at the desk in the nearby corner to notice you wake up. With a powerful pull you tried to break free from the buckles, but to no avail nothing helped. Your voice could not bring aid either, you were stuck until the other nurses would come finish the work of the test, now that you were awake. But the blue liquid would soon wear off and you could officially escape this place you once called home. Your baby blue dress is replaced with a plain white dress as well as your nicely pinned hair was now down in a tangled mess from threshing around.
“Oh good, you are awake,” the nurse said, standing up.
A few minutes passed of sitting in the chair, the nurse finished not long ago attaching strange wires and needles in your arms. But you could slowly feel your strength come back to you each second that went by. Suddenly, the faint smell of smoke and fresh blood filled your nose. You sharply turned your head to the door. What was happening? Just then you could hear loud breathing and footsteps coming from upstairs. Then the word fire was shouted out faintly.  Looking at the nurse at the desk, she finally stood up after hearing a female cry out from down the hall behind the closed door. She opened the door glancing both ways down the hall before her gaze fixed to the left. The look of fear and terror came upon her face, she then quickly shut the door locking it, after it was secured, she came over to the table of tools grabbing a surgeon knife as a weapon. Your eyes stayed fixed on the door curious as to what was out there in the hall.  You heard slow stocking footsteps echo in the long hallway, before it stopped in front of the door. It was quiet, except for the shaking breath of the nurse who was cowardly hiding behind your chair. Your eyes watched the door’s movement carefully.
The lock on the door slowly unlocked itself before it creaked open wide. In dim lighting from the lights in the hall, a figure stood tall, it was a boy with blonde hair. He didn't look but fifteen years of age and held a playful smirk. His eyes were the only thing holding your attention at the moment. They were the color red. Blood red. His peering eyes gazed around the room landing on you and then behind you. As he stepped in the nurse screamed bloody murder and moved closer to the wall.
"Who are you?!" she squeaked. The boy stocked into the room keeping silent as he made his way to her. She dodged him and ran to the door only to be blocked by his frame in a blink of an eye. Superspeed. He then broke her leg and caught her as she fell to the floor and dragged her out into the hall. You sit frozen as you hear her cries fade into nothing, the smoke is getting worse and you could hear the orphanage breaking above from the fire. Not even a second after the nurse was dragged out a different person appeared in the door frame. He was shorter than the boy you previously saw, he had brown hair and puppy-like eyes. Glancing down the room he spotted you, he looked to his right and motioned his hand in this direction. Was he going to hurt you? Are there more vampires? A sudden strong pull grew in your chest taking your breath away. It couldn’t be. The boy moved out of the doorway letting in another person you didn't expect to see. Jungwon took his friend’s place in the doorway looking in. When he saw you, he didn't spare a second coming straight to you.
"Good job Jake!" he praised his friend.
"Jungwon?!" you exclaimed in shock. He gave a small smile, but then frowned at the wires and needles in you. His eyes turned red in anger, he began to take them off. Then he grabs the leather straps, breaking them off your body. As soon as you were free, you threw your arms around him holding tight feeling the ache of the bond heal.
"I'm here," his gentle voice said, returning the hug. He didn't change in personality, but his voice was more mature and smooth since the last time you saw him. He pulled away cupping the side of your face to look at you.
"I can’t believe it’s you, I missed you," you whispered, admiring his face. Even after years of not seeing him you faintly remembered his facial features that strongly return to your memories all at once.
"I missed you too," he said, kissing your knuckles.
Just then the surrounding of the building began to crack and crumble under you guys. Slipping out of the chair, your legs gave out under you from being in the chair without movement for too long. Jungwon then picked you up without a thought and transported you to the outside. When the cool fresh air hits you, you breathe in relaxation, the grass under your feet feels soft as Jungwon sets you down. He did however keep his arm around you to make you stable while you two watched the building go up in flames.
Soon six boys came out from the forest in a rush. You realized they were from that fever dream you had not twenty minutes ago. Jungwon's arms wrapped tighter around your frame. Resting his forehead against your temple in relief as your gaze continued to watch the fire consume.
"You're free now," he whispered. The realization came upon you and your body slumped into his body, your eyes closing in the process. He was right, you were free.
Two hundred years later, your steps were light as you made your way to the table where the members talked with one another. The business room was completely dark, the only light that was present was the city lights of New York outside. Your long black sleeve pencil dress sparkled in the light making you look like a diamond. You came around the table carrying your glass of red liquid, you gave Jay and Heeseung a smile as you passed them and then slipped in between Ni-ki and Jungwon. Ni-ki playful bumped your arm in acknowledgement, you smirked and repeated the same action to him. Jungwon noticed your presence after his conversation with Jake ended. His arm came around your waist hugging your frame close to his. You wouldn’t have changed meeting him in the forest that day, because as fate would have it, he would be in return your soulmate in eternity.
“You look beautiful my love,” he complemented. You grinned at his words.
“Thank you Wonnie,” you responded. He smiled, slightly shaking his head at his nickname, looking back at the live city.
“Are you ready for a new beginning?” he asked in a whisper. You locked eye contact with him before leaning in, pressing a sweet kiss to his lips. Hearing the countdown of the New York ball drop.
“Always with you,” you replied in the same tone. Jungwon smiled, hugging you close if that was possible, allowing you to lean into his side. Then you and the boys raised your glasses to the new year of the 2000’s ready for a new beginning to happen.

An elite boarding school for the rich, the famous, the academically gifted, and, of course, vampires. A school full of cocky kids, spoiled brats and blood-sucking demons. What could go wrong?
A lot, in your humble opinion, but you are determined not to let it be so.
Although it is common knowledge among the regular students that the students in the east dorm building are vampires, the school found it best to keep the mortal and immortal separate. Not only do night classes better suit the fanged students, but it decreases the chances of day students offering up their blood or night students coercing them into doing so.
However, there are always students out to cause trouble. Whether it be hungry night students skipping class or love-struck day students sneaking out of their dorm, there are enough behavioural issues to warrant a security patrol. With a school as prestigious and pricey as yours, one would expect them to hire the best in the business, highly skilled and trained professionals. Well, one would be wrong.
Who would hire a professional security team when they could just straddle the borderline of child labour and enlist students to patrol the grounds?
Tumblr media
Satisfied that no delinquent students are creeping around the top floor, you head towards the staircase at the end of the hallway. You reach the stairs and freeze seeing a figure at the bottom, sitting on the windowsill. Poised like a great artist's muse, one leg reaches down to the ground and the other is cocked up on the window ledge to offer their arm a place of rest. Their head rests against the glass, chin angled up, eyes closed.
Pretentious fuck, you think. No way anyone actually sits like that. This is likely just some egotistical night class student waiting for an innocent day class student to walk by and become enthralled by their beauty.
"You should be in class," you say loudly as you descend the stairs.
The student turns to you and, lo-and-behold, their eyes glow red. “Y/N. My favourite human."
"Get to class, Jay," you say sternly. Of all the night class students it had to be him.
"Come on now, Y/N," he says, jumping off the ledge as you reach the landing. His voice is both sultry and teasing.
It irks you.
"No need to be so cold," he continues, reaching out to brush the hair away from your neck. "Especially when your blood is so warm."
You slap his hand away before he can touch you. "You're disgusting,” you spit, trudging down the rest of the stairs.
Using his enhanced speed, Jay meets you at the bottom. “You know you love me, Y/N.”
“When pigs fly," you retort, shouldering past him.
“Funny. Last semester during home weekend, I don't remember seeing any winged swine." His smirk is crystal clear in his voice when he says, “But maybe I was just distracted.”
Breath catching, you whip around and ram your hand against Jay's throat, shoving him against the banister. "You prick."
"Whoa," Jay chuckles. "This isn't how I remember it. Not bad, though."
"Shut up," you say through gritted teeth. "I was drunk and you know it."
"Yes, but so was I, sweetheart."
"Meaning that neither of us was thinking straight. There's a reason it only happened once."
"Ahh, so you finally admit it happened." Jay smirks and it hits you that this was his goal: all he wanted was for you to finally admit what you had been passionately denying for the past two months. Jay finds a devious amount of joy in pissing off others, and reminding you of your drunken dalliance never fails to rile you up.
Determined not to let him make a fool of you any longer, you shoot him your deadliest glare then turn on your heel, barking, “Get to class!” as you walk away.

Over the next week, Jay makes it his personal mission to find you during your guardian shifts and do everything in his power to annoy the shit out of you. And every time you get the urge to kick him in the balls, you have to remind yourself that any reaction you give him, no matter how violent, will only reward him.
“You know, I have some relatives coming to visit soon,” Jay says as you make your rounds through the gardens on Friday night, your last guardian shift for the month.
“Didn’t ask,” you say, trying to walk faster, but of course, Jay easily keeps up with your pace.
“They’re only coming for a couple of days to see if they’re interested in attending the school.”
“Don’t care.”
Jay chuckles. “Of course you do.” He halts his steps with a sigh, tucking his hands into his pockets. “Ah, alas, I have Business Studies to attend to.”
“Oh, you’re leaving? What a shame,” you quip with an eye roll, barely pausing to flash him a sarcastic smile before walking away from him.
Jay grins his devilish grin. “I know you’ll miss me.”
“No, I won’t.”
“Yes, you will,” he calls.
“No, I won’t!”
You hear a chuckle followed by a gust of wind, probably from Jay either jumping onto the nearest building ledge or running to the nearest entrance to avoid being scolded for tardiness.
Letting out a breath, you relish in the newfound quiet. Some crickets and other nocturnal bugs serenade you as you stroll through the west garden, and you can faintly hear the centre-piece fountain softly bubbling somewhere ahead of you. Moments like these are a rare positive to your guardian role. The cool night air washes the tension out of your muscles, and a serene smile slips onto your lips. You wish you could stay here all night, but you know you can't. So, you make your way through the garden and start patrolling behind the cobblestone buildings. These west buildings are a hotspot for first years trying to get a glimpse of the vampire students.
Rounding the corner, the garden trees begin to thicken and close in on each other, forming a lush forest, the beauty and vibrance of which is only highlighted by the silvery rays of moonlight streaming through the foliage. The only sound out here is the soft wind rustling the outer branches of the trees and the occasional owl. So when a twig snaps, it sounds like an explosion. Head whipping in the direction of the sound and hand sliding the retractable staff strapped to your thigh, you make your way into the trees. In your three years of being a guardian, you’ve taken out the staff many times to scare students back to their dorms, but only twice have you actually used it. The prickle running up your spine tells you tonight may be number three.
“I know you’re there,” you call into the night, the stars and moon lighting your way through the trees. “It’s forbidden for both day and night students to be out here without a teacher at this time of night.”
“Luckily, we’re not students,” says a malicious voice behind your. Definitely not a student.
Your training kicks in as you slide the staff out of its strap and extend it, spinning around to aim the pole at the throat of the stranger. He’s wearing a dark suit but it's not a school uniform. His skin has a recognisable discolouration to it.
“Who are you, vampire?” you snarl.
“Travellers,” he drawls, eyes flashing red. “Travellers looking for a snack.”
“Well, you won’t find one here,” you reply, narrowing your eyes at him.
“Oh, I disagree.” He chuckles, then glances over your shoulder. A cold hand grips your elbow. You dislodge it quickly, spinning and smashing your staff into the owner’s stomach, sending them and their ridiculous green suit to the hard ground.
“Ooh, it can fight,” laughs a new voice.
Not fond of the idea of being ganged up on, you pivet and aim the end of your staff at the first vampire’s neck. He dodges it effortlessly. Feet planted, you twist your upper body to the left, jabbing your staff at his abdomen. He dodges again, predictably stepping to the right where you’ve already kicked out with your right foot. It lands square on his chest, pushing him to the ground with his first accomplice. His second accomplice, the third vampire in total, steps out from the trees.
Her velvet dress drags across the grass as she strolls toward you. “You look tasty.”
“Oh, yeah?” you ask, lowering my stance. “Shame you’ll never know for sure.”
She lunges, clawed hand outreached. You hit her hand away with your staff. She lunges again. You sidestep her, then drop and sweep your leg under her feet. She hits the ground but regains her stance quickly.
“You filthy human,” she growls.
You laugh. From their suits and her dress and the arrogance that radiates off them, you guess that they’re vampires with a high social status: Level B, one power at least, fifty-fifty chance that they have any sort of formal combat training. Judging from how you’ve managed to knock all three down, it seems they have no training. This should be easy enough then.
The female charges again, a pitchy scream ripping through her. You duck and roll. She stumbles but keeps her upright position. You jump up and charge at her, staff glinting in the moonlight. But before you can jam it into her stomach, a chilling breeze blows across the grass and suddenly there is a pool of mud under you. Your foot slips on the wet ground. Your ankle rolls. You hit the ground. Hard. Any air in your lungs is knocked out of you. Your staff rolls out of your hand.
Fuck. Stupid vampires and their stupid powers. Groaning, you push yourself to sit up. The vampires laugh and the sludge under you disappears. You look up and watch as they stalk towards you, laughing and baring their fangs. Your ankle burns, but you refuse to die this way. You reach for your staff.
“Hey!” a male voice booms, followed by a thump as the owner lands on the ground next to your.
The trio of vampires stops their prowl.
“Jay,” the first vampire says with an arrogant smile. “Cousin, what a coincidence. Come to share a meal?”
Your gaze snaps up to Jay. Cousin? Are these the cousins he was talking about not half an hour ago?
“Actually,” Jay drawls. “I’ve come to collect my property.”
“Your property?” the female asks, looking between Jay and you. “You mean this human is yours?”
Jay turns his head to look down at you, his eyes flashing red. “Indeed, she is.” He lowers himself down to one knee and hooks his finger under your chin. “Isn’t that right, sweetheart?”
Your face heats up with annoyance. In any other scenario, you would slap his hand away and spit on his face, calling him all kinds of foul names, but in this scenario, sprawled on the ground before three blood-thirsty monsters and one arrogant prick, you figure your chances of survival are higher with the vampire who at least has the decency to pretend to swear off of human blood.
Choking down your pride, you mumble, “Yes."
“Good girl,” Jay says before slipping his arm around your waist and hoisting you off the ground, pulling you to his side.
He brushes a leaf out of your tangled hair and you glance up at him, surprised to see a hint of tenderness in his eyes as they meet yours. But he turns back to his relatives before you can determine whether it was a trick of the moonlight or if he really was concerned.
“Now that you know this human is mine, I’d appreciate it if you would leave her alone,” Jay says flatly.
“But we’ve been travelling for so long just to see you. Surely, you wouldn’t mind—"
“I would mind.”
“Oh, please,” begs the green-suited vampire pitifully. “We promise not to drink too much. And there’s a whole town nearby with plenty of yummy boys and girls, so if we do, you can just—”
“No!” Jay growls, making his three cousins and you collectively flinch. His grip on your waist tightens in what your hope is an attempt to reassure you. “If you’re so interested in the town, how about you leave us alone and go there yourselves?”
The vampires pause, sharing looks. “You’re being very inconsiderate, Jay.”
Jay doesn’t respond, only glowers at them.
More shared looks.
The female huffs. “Fine, we’ll go. I highly doubt this human would satisfy us anyway. Goodbye, cousin.”
And they’re gone, disappearing into the misty forest. Squawking birds spray up out of the trees, their sleep disturbed by the three vampires speeding through their habitat. Only once the birds have settled back to their branches does Jay relinquish his hold on you, exhaling and stepping back, dragging his hands through his onyx hair.
“Jesus Christ,” he grumbles. “They can’t even go ten minutes without attacking someone.”
Thoroughly terrified, your mind stutters and your body shudders. Both cry out for bed onto which you can collapse and sleep away the events of this evening. Taking a step forward, a hiss rips up your throat as your ankle buckles under the weight of your body, pain tearing through you like a ferocious clawed animal.
“Y/N!” Jay catches you before you hit the ground. “What’s wrong? Are you hurt?”
Teeth digging into your bottom lip, you nod. “My ankle. Your cousins fight dirty.”
"I'll take you to the nurse."
You shake my head. "She won't be there. Night class can usually heal on their own."
"Then I'll—"
"You won't do anything. I'm taking myself back to the day class dorms. There's a first aid kit in the kitchen."
"Okay. We'll go there." And then, as though you are nothing more than a single blade of grass, Jay scoops you into his arms and starts towards the west dorm block.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa," you splutter, flailing in his arms. "I said I'll take myself."
He holds you tighter against his chest. The solidity and warmth are somewhat calming. "Don't be stupid. There's no way you'd make it there on your own."
"I'm not stupid," you snarl, reaching up to flick his forehead as hard as you can.
He flinches then returns the act, pinching your side. "Then let me take you there."
"Fine, but you don't have to carry me."
"Yes, I do."
You scoff. "Why? Because I'm your property?"
"I didn't mean it like that, Y/N," Jay says, maintaining his swift pace. "I didn't mean it at all."
“Then why did you say it?”
Jay sighs. "Long story. Let's just say they're very old-fashioned."
The hint of pain in his expression is unmistakable and you decide not to ask a follow-up question. You’re more concerned with the state of your ankle anyway. "Can we speed this up?"
"You're so demanding," Jay says, dramatising exasperation in his voice. Yet, he continues, "Hold on tight, sweetheart."
"Do I have to?"
"Unless you want another broken ankle."
You roll your eyes. "First of all, it's not broken, just twisted. Second of all, are you insinuating that you're too weak to carry me?"
Jay laughs. "As if." And without another word, he takes off, leaving your yelp of surprise far behind in the forest.
In a little under three seconds, you find yourself being unceremoniously plopped onto a stainless steel benchtop in a large kitchen lit only by the silver moonlight pouring through the window. You have to blink the shock away. You knew vampires were fast but that was something else.
"Where's the first aid kit?" Jay asks.
"Cupboard above the fridge. And there's ice packs in the freezer.” You gingerly lift your foot onto the bench and slide off your shoe and sock. Blotches of bruises are forming already.
"Here." Jay is beside you, holding an ice pack wrapped in a floral hand towel.
You take it from him and hold it against your ankle, grumbling, “Your cousins suck.”
Jay sits beside you, smiling. “I know.”
“If they didn’t have powers, they’d be so dead.”
“I bet they would be.”
You narrow your eyes at him. “You don’t care that I just insinuated killing your cousins?”
Jay snorts. “As if. I don’t give a fuck about them. You, on the other hand…”
Your traitorous heart skips a beat. You turn your face away from his gaze. “You’re so full of shit.”
“Y/N—”
“So what’s your power then?” you ask, cutting him off. You've always assumed Jay was a Level C vampire with his head incredibly far up his own ass, but after seeing his relatives use an elemental power you now know he must also be Level B. And not that you'd ever tell him, but there is a twinge of curiosity in you wanting to know what other power Jay possesses.
"Oh? You're asking about me? Do you wish to be closer to me?"
You scoff. "Forget I asked."
He's silent for long enough that you almost think he won't reply, but, of course, he does. Leaning in close enough that his warm breath brushes against your skin, he whispers, "Guess."
The hairs on the back of your neck stand on end. "Screw you."
Jay laughs. Then his laughter fades and you can feel his eyes burning holes into you. You turn to find him staring at your now swollen ankle, a furrow between his brows.
"Stop staring at me," you tell him. "I'll go to the nurse’s office first thing in the morning."
"Okay." A beautiful silence. Then… “You know…" Jay says in a sing-song-ish way that has you preemptively rolling your eyes.
"What, Jay?" you sigh, mentally preparing yourself for whatever obnoxious nonsense he's about to throw at you.
Shrugging coyly, he slips his hands into his pant pockets. "Now, I'm not saying you have to… but… I just think… you wouldn’t have to go to the nurse’s office if you just let me bite you and turn you.”
And there it is.
You sigh again. “You and I both know you can’t do that, Jay. Only purebloods can turn humans.”
“I could still try.”
“And fail miserably. No biting.”
"But Y/N—"
"No. Biting."
"You're no fun."

Vampire!Wooyoung x Investigator!Reader, Seonghwa and Hongjoong appears too. Word count: 9305 Genre: angst, horror Author: maari Warnings: I'm rating this one +18 so minors DNI please! Contains strong violence, like very graphic, blood, sensitive themes, death. It's a vampire au, what else can I say. I have to say that yes, this is fiction so whatever I say about the 19th century has absolutely nothing to do with reality, okay? And I know almost nothing about Romania except what I've already researched so don't read if you want something else accurate. Note: AYO there's someone surprised? Because I'm not lol This story is from 2015, I had already posted the Portuguese version on other platforms but I felt I needed to adapt it for tumblr. Thank you Wooyoung for giving me the vampire vision I needed. Summary: There are many mysteries in the 19th century, but the biggest one is your old first love that it's back in town.

19th Century. Romania. “Apparently there is a witness who lives downtown, so I..” “Apparently? Miss Y/L/N, we thought you had something concrete to prove your case to us." the sheriff interrupted her, making her take a deep breath, completely ignoring the lack of ethics. "I went to the village and only found dust, something has definitely happened." She concludes, with the last vestige of hope. Why did he look so bored listening to that? It was as if he didn't give the slightest credit to her words. In fact, it was difficult to maintain her poise when the sheriff's somber black eyes rested on her, a shiver going up her spine every time that happened. "And some people are scared of you, they said you're following them, miss." He rolled his eyes, pissing her off even more. "The murders didn't happen by coincidence!" she tried to argue and felt a hand on her shoulder. "Mr. Park, please contain your client." the sheriff spoke to the young man beside her, as if the woman were not even there. "Unfortunately it is not something that is of interest to you. Leave. We have a case to solve before the killer causes more panic." having said that, he and the other two men who were silent in the same room completely ignored both of them, as if their presence didn't make the slightest difference. As if her thesis wasn't convincing enough. What could she do without the evidence? Besides making others think she was crazy. "Please, Y/N, come with me." Seonghwa said, lightly pulling her shoulder.
She decided to leave with a sigh before starting screaming, it would be a lack of courtesy on her part and would ruin her reputation. It would be pointless to argue further about something the sheriff clearly wasn't interested in.
"I'm glad you didn't keep arguing." Seonghwa spoke when they were already leaving the place.
"It would be in vain, isn't truth?" she questioned, upset but not defeated.
"Y/N, I know how important your profession is to you." Seonghwa stopped outside, causing Y/N to do the same. She looked at him, he looked sincere. "But you need to be careful, as your attorney, disrupting a sheriff's investigation can get you into a lot of trouble. A mess that I might not be able to get you out of."
Y/N took a deep breath and looked straight ahead, far beyond the standing man, that's when her eyes focused on a familiar figure.
Her entire body shivered as his dark eyes met hers. Unlike before, the boy's eyes were filled with a dark haze. The serious face and emotionless expression was the opposite of the easy and wide smile boy who lit up the whole city.
"Y/N?"
"Is that…" she stopped for a second, to make sure what she saw was real and not a hallucination. As it had happened before.
That made Seonghwa turn to where she was looking.
"Jung." he spoke in a low tone and took two steps back, standing next to Y/N who looked like was going to collapse.
And indeed, maybe she would collapse, because now that Seonghwa wasn't in front of her, she could watch the boy who was now walking towards her.
He wore black leather clothes, a red blouse underneath and necklaces, very different from the elegant and light clothes he wore in the past.
God, he was wearing leather gloves!
He hated gloves.
"Y/N." she felt her whole body shiver when heard the boy's voice. Not just because of the fact that it had been a long time since she last spoke to him, but because his voice was now more mature. More obscure.
"Wooyoung." her answer was nothing more than a whisper and she couldn't take her eyes off him.
He looked like the same boy she knew but at the same time, was different.
"Well, I'm on my way. Let me know if you need my help again, Y/N." Seonghwa spoke and before she could say thank you, he left, glaring at Wooyoung steadily as he walked past him.
"I didn't know you were friends with pirates." Even serious, with a raised eyebrow, Y/N could hear the slight teasing and even surprise in his voice.
"I didn't know you were back in town." She replied, crossing her arms.
Wooyoung laughed, without humor.
"I can see you're on the defensive."
"Do you blame me?"
"No, of course not." he shook his head. "I understand, like no one else."
Y/N felt her legs wobble, it took a lot of self control not to let him notice.
That phrase was theirs. He always said that to her when she was feeling lonely.
"Seonghwa was a pirate but is a great attorney." she replied, changing the subject suddenly.
"A what?" he looked shocked and Y/N wanted to laugh if it was any other circumstance. "Why would you need an attorney?"
"Because I almost got arrested." she replied, huffing and started walking towards her destination.
It was better to talk about the sheriff and his strange behavior than the past and how Wooyoung had suddenly appeared as if he had never left.
"It must have been something very worrying for you to need the help of a pirate attorney."
Y/N knew that tactic and that's why didn't answer, she just twisted her lip.
It wasn't quite true, but it wasn't a lie either. The fact that Seonghwa had been a pirate wasn't important, but she needed an attorney when the sheriff wanted to arrest her..
However, she wouldn't tell Wooyoung what had happened that easily. It wasn't just showing up after so much time that he would get everything he wanted.
"Oh, I see, you're mad at me." he laughed again without humor and Y/N got irritated with the whole situation.
"Well, don't tell me, Mr. I know everything!" she stopped walking and turned abruptly to face him. "You come back after years, without sending a letter, without even knowing where you went and you want me to be happy to see you?" Wooyoung was silent, analyzing Y/N's face so thoroughly that she found it strange.
"What happened?"
"What?"
"Your eyes are blinking constantly and I can see the worry in them." Y/N widened her eyes and Wooyoung twisted his mouth, almost as if he wanted to smile but couldn't. He still knew her better than anyone else, so that was why Y/N sighed. Defeated to expect an explanation from him.
Okay, she was still shocked that he had suddenly returned but she trusted him more than herself. And it wasn't like she could lie to him. "You always knew about my dream of becoming a private investigator." she said, seeing him nod. "I got a case. A murder on a farm in the city, the owner's daughter was murdered for no apparent reason."
"And?"
"And it coincided with 2 other murders. I was finally talking to some possible witnesses when the town sheriff came up to me, saying I had to go with him because they had reported me for disturbance. Apparently someone is afraid I'm going to find out something."
"Is this how Seonghwa appeared?" She nodded.
"We've been friends for a long time, you know." Wooyoung reluctantly agreed. "We became closer with your departure." he looked at her seriously and confused.
"Wait, what do you mean by that?"
"I needed a friend, Wooyoung. He was there for me." she snapped back and he was silent.
They stared at each other for a while, as if to make up for lost time or find the answers they needed.
Anyway, Y/N knew he wouldn't say what was going on to make him come back without warning.
Even more so with such a difference between the Wooyoung she used to know.
"I felt the need to go back, something told me to." He spoke in a soft tone that caught Y/N off guard.
She couldn't contain her jaw which dropped in sheer shock.
It even looked like he had read her mind, which shouldn't be surprising because they used to do that in the old days.
Talk through the eyes.
"You know what happened." She raised an eyebrow. "About the murder, I mean."
"I have some theories."
"Then?" Wooyoung asked. "The police think I'm hallucinating." she said, angry. "There's something wrong, the sheriff was so… bizarre." She felt a shiver run down her spine at the memory of the man. He almost looked happy to be taking her away from people, and by the time she explained what was going on, he already seemed to have reached his own conclusions. At first, Y/N thought it was just jealousy of her work. She was paid very well to be a professional investigator and she didn't have to deal with the mayor like the sheriff did, she didn't have to wait for authorization from higher ups because she didn't have any. But then she realized that it wasn't that, in fact it was far from it. "Y/N, why don't you let It be?" she looked at him in disbelief. "Can't you see you could be in danger?"
"Excuse me?" he had no sign of reluctance on his face. He was indeed serious. "You have no right to tell me what to do."
She walked again but was stopped, held in the arm by Wooyoung, who didn't take long to bring his body closer to hers.
Ah yes, that was worrying, Wooyoung was not one to maintain physical contact on the street, with an entire city looking on and could compromise the two. That was always the excuse he gave to Y/N. But she couldn't deny that she liked it, even though she was a little mad at him, because she missed him so much that was still greater than any other feeling and having him there, holding her arm although firmly but gentle was probably the closest they would get to each other for now. "Leave this case before something happens." he asked gently but his eyes were different.
It was almost as if he was begging her to stop because somehow he knew it would hurt her.
However, he had no way of knowing.
Or had?
Y/N looked into his eyes, they were still dark but something said that the Wooyoung she knew was still there. He only knew what she had told him, not her theories, so how could he know it was dangerous if he had just come back to town? Why did he suddenly look so worried? "Would you like to tell me something, Wooyoung?" asked, still not understanding the sudden concern.
Her questioning took him by surprise, who looked away anywhere but her eyes. But that didn't make her give in, she continued to stare at him anyway.
He fell silent for a moment until he held her other arm and stared into her eyes in the way that made Y/N legs shake and her head stop thinking. "Listen, I care about your life and I know this story will not end well. Give it up before you get hurt, Y/N."
She had so many questions, and didn't even know where to start.
She wanted to say that those words hadn't affected her but that would be a lie, just as it would be a lie to promise that she would give up when she wouldn't. "I'm a professional, Wooyoung. I was hired to find out who the monster is and that's exactly what I'm going to do." She retorted.
Y/N was always stubborn and he knew it very well. "I can't stay by your side." murmured. "I can't watch you kill yourself."
She felt her eyes fill with tears, for being stupid to have believed that he was back for good and for losing him again, unable to do anything to stop it.
"Did you come back after so long for this?"
She let go of his grip so that could completely move away from his extremely comforting touch. She didn't know if she would control herself if he continued to hold her so close to him, so close that she could feel his body heat.
And he just let his hands fall to his sides, he didn't even struggle to maintain contact.
"I won't say I'm surprised." lifted her chin as spoke. "I think you got used to leaving me anyway but don't worry, I can take care of myself and the case at the same time. Goodbye, Jung."
She turned her back on him and got out of there as fast as her heels would allow.
She would get concrete evidence of what believed. It was a promise.
And she didn't care if the person she trusted most in life had abandoned her before he even finally came back.
At least that would be what she would repeat until convinced herself. [...] Three victims in a single day, always in the cold dawn and none of them had even a drop of blood in their body.
Things in common: marks on the wrist or neck. It was so obvious it was terrifying.
She didn't believe in horror stories or about mythical creatures, it's true, but she couldn't ignore all the facts that came to the same explanation.
A vampire was loose in the city. Y/N's father didn't tell her about this kind of thing but he was smart enough to leave his diaries within her reach, in which said that he knew that one day this would happen and that humans would have to demand courage from themselves if they wanted to survive this kind of thing.
The apocalypse.
Her parents were born in Serbia, they knew the rumors of creatures of the night feeding on human blood, it was one of the reasons they fled to Romania, while her mother carried Y/N in her womb.
Both died in a mysterious and still uncertain way just over eight years ago.
She became an orphan, rich and completely cold that same dark day she received the news, still a naive girl. She would have given herself over to the darkness if not for Wooyoung, her best friend and her only family left. After discovering her father's diaries, she was sure that he and her mother had been killed by some creature from the shadows. She just couldn't prove it.
With a thirst for revenge to find the culprits, Y/N became a true warrior in secret, at the same time knowing everything she could about vampires. Everything her father had left in his diaries had helped her, it had been the beginning of her era as an investigator.
She didn't do it for the money, did it because felt like she was closer to finding her parents' killers.
A private investigator who was actually a vampire slayer, taking care of weird, unsolved murders was pretty satisfying and it brought her closer to the truth, that's what she felt. Although she was still frustrated since the creature was so smart, it was so hard to find something to back up her words. She needed more than her father's stories. "Miss Y/L/N, would you like anything else before you go to bed?" Addy subtly entered the room she was in.
She had barely noticed her arrival, with so much going on her mind. "No, I'm fine, thank you very much. Notify everyone to end their services for today."
She put the diary that was reading in the drawer of the furniture next to her bed. "Yes, ma'am. Have a good night." “Equally for you.”
Addy left and Y/N took off her robe, after blowing out the candles, leaving only one lit.
Y/N lay down on her bed and her mind felt like it would explode from so many things that came and went.
She couldn't understand why Wooyoung had even left, let alone why he had suddenly returned. She believed his words, though he wasn't specific about what had drawn him back, but she needed more. She wanted to know how he was doing, what he'd been up to, where he'd been. She didn't imagine how many minutes or hours had passed, but when was almost asleep, she heard some noises and a muffled scream outside the house.
Dread settled through her body at the exact moment she faced the dark room, feeling her heart beat faster.
She would be exaggerating if she thought that maybe her house was being broken into at this time of night.
But the servants had already gone to sleep as she had ordered, the house was dark and her legs were shaking even though was lying in bed. A while ago she would just kneel beside the bed and pray it was just her imagination, only today it wasn't like that anymore.
That's why she dared to get out of bed, quickly put on her shoes, pick up the holder in which the only candle was lit, and left her room after taking a deep breath. Y/N tried not to get carried away by the darkness that her house was or by the terrifying silence. Walked through the house in large but cautious steps and she hadn't found anything unusual inside.
So she had to work up the courage to go through the main door and go to the gardens behind the house. With each step Y/N took, felt her heart beat even faster and her blood started to freeze. Everything was dark, her eyes couldn't stop staring at every square meter of the extensive garden. Sudden fear gripped her as saw a body thrown over the high gate's spear and the bloodstains on the ground. The white skin was full of red marks and one in particular caught her attention, on the victim's neck hovering the same mark as other murders.
She was in shock for long minutes and when regained consciousness again, she dropped the candle near her feet and started walking backwards, unable to scream or look away from that horrendous image.
The blood was still warm and gushing onto the floor, the lifeless body was different from the victims she had seen. Because that blood was a message for her.
She didn't need any other messages to understand.
Her instincts seemed frozen and slowly came back to tell her what to do, because the killer was probably nearby.
Run away. Find a wooden stake and bury it in the chest of the first person that appears.
She ended up stumbling over her own feet and the terror came stronger than the thud when she fell to the ground. Y/N got up already trying to get away from there and ask for help however she ended up being held tightly by the arms. She prepared to scream for Addy or anyone else to hear but as soon as she took a deep breath, stared into the face of the person holding her.
Wooyoung. Her heart was still beating fast, seeing him there made it start to regain the air she had lost. "Y/N, why are you here alone?" Asked low and she just shook her head without being able to say anything. All she could feel was her heart beating too fast, it hurt. "What happened? You're pale." The only explanation Y/N could come up with was pointing her finger backwards, he looked at the spot of her terror and his face grew serious, she could see he had locked his jaw holding his breath.
"You need to get out of here, I think you've seen too much for one night." he seemed to contain his anger, his tone was far from calm, and she nodded in agreement.
Y/N let herself be carried away by him, even forgetting that they were actually apart, she didn't dare to look back. Something told her that tomorrow would be a very long day.
[...] "The police are already at the scene taking the body, the employees are terrified and I took something to put it in your hand." Wooyoung sat next to her on the bed and Y/N continued with her head down. "I said I didn't need it, it's okay." Her voice was choked, no wonder since she couldn't do anything but cry when walked in the main door after the adrenaline had worn off..
She was used to seeing victims in much worse situations but that scene wouldn't get out of her head for an obvious reason: it had been on purpose.
The killer knew who she was, it was clear.
She was lucky that Wooyoung was there, he didn't seem desperate and that helped her to at least calm down a little. As always was. "Be still for a moment." He took her hand and started to pass the wet cloth all over the place that had hurt because of the fall, only when he forced her skin that she knew it was hurting.
Wooyoung was cleaning the wound carefully but his forehead was furrowed and his nose seemed to be being forced not to breathe that air. "I didn't know you were sensitive to the scent of blood." She commented and he looked up at her at the same time. "It's not something very important to know." He shrugged and finished cleaning her wound, placed the bowl of water on top of the furniture next to her bed and returned to face Y/N.
"Everything about you is important to me." declared, holding the gaze. When Wooyoung looked at her in that intense way it reminded her of the feelings for him she should have buried  a long time ago but would always be there, lying dormant waiting for him.
Wooyoung understood Y/N since forever, they knew each other even before she became an orphan.
One day, he was sleeping under the snow in the same gardens of her parents' house and the other day, Y/N's parents gave shelter to the boy who did various tasks in the house in exchange for food and clothes.
Because they were the same age, they became inseparable. Y/N didn't care if he was a servant, he was the only friend she could play with when she wasn't studying.
She and Wooyoung liked to play that they were warriors, they played with wooden swords.
Little did she know that one day she would use that sword in real life.
He was her first friend and first crush, and also her first kiss. In fact, couldn't remember anyone other than him being her first at anything.
It was weird being close to him but at the same time being so far away, at least in the way she really wanted to be. She hated to admit it but deep down knew she had never forgotten what they left in the past. An impossible and secret love. "I'm sorry I fought with you." he said lowly, making her shiver from head to toe. "I'm sorry too." she sighed. "You could have come here earlier, this house is as much yours as it is mine. Maybe nothing would have happened tonight if you were here."
"Y/N." He leaned closer and touched her cheek gently.
"Why did you come back? Truly." she just needed an answer or else it would consume her alive.
He didn't take his eyes off her and Y/N was mesmerized to have him so close after so long, just one touch and it would literally throw her into his arms.
She knew it was what both needed. A simple touch. Wooyoung touched his lips to hers at the same moment a lightning cut the sky, illuminating his face and making her sigh as quickly noticed his dark eyes look hungry, before closing her eyes completely and giving herself away.
It wasn't many times that she was in his arms but each time he was very gentle, almost as if he was afraid of breaking her. But now, the way his lips sought hers in such an ungentlemanly way, it was almost animalistic.
It was surprising when he held her waist tightly and deepened the kiss, their tongues meeting for the first time. She grabbed his hair afraid that his momentary boldness wouldn’t last and he would be cautious again. She kissed him with all the desire she felt, without fear of regretting it later.
His lips were warm and soft, driving her crazy. That wasn't the kind of kiss they gave, it didn't have the childlike innocence of before.
Wooyoung knew how to move his lips and tongue sensually and slowly. Another lightning in the sky and Y/N heard a grunt, Wooyoung held her tighter and leaned over her. She had to break the kiss to catch her breath and he didn't stop there, he kissed down her chin and neck, making her skin shiver.
Y/N had to bite her already swollen lip to hold back her moan as she felt wet kisses trail across her skin.
She thought he was going to go down a little more, because she didn’t want to stop, in her wildest dreams she had been in his arms without any barriers, that was where she became his. Only in her dreams. But he held his breath and moved away so fast that she could barely keep up. Y/N was going to ask what had happened but a knock on the door undid all that moment, she didn't know whether to look at Wooyoung who now kept his face turned to the side or to tell the person to come in. She sat on the bed and straightened up so no one wouldn't notice that something had happened, Y/N asked them to come in and Addy came to her quickly. "The sheriff wishes to speak with you." She warned and Y/N took a deep breath before nodding.
The last person she wanted to see was him. "Thank you, Addy." she got up from the bed, legs a little bit weak, avoiding looking at Wooyoung who seemed to be embarrassed.
Well, it was his fault that she was weak and horny.
She put on her robe and Wooyoung stood beside her, now maintaining a serious posture.
Was he doing this to confuse her? Wooyoung noticed that Y/N hadn't understood his gesture and decided to quickly explain. "I wouldn't leave you alone with that man." Wooyoung never liked the sheriff and the feeling seemed to be mutual. That old man had been in town longer than she and Wooyoung could count, and what on the surface seemed like just a rowdy children's tantrum became more when they both grew up.
No matter how much time passed, Wooyoung still didn't like the sheriff.
But that night, Y/N was thankful for it. She felt protected when was around him and this was how she needed to feel when she was in front of the sheriff. She smiled knowingly at him, as the memories washed over her, he tried to reciprocate but it was sad and he looked away too quickly. She sighed and retraced her path, which was now lit differently from earlier. She arrived at the garden still a little apprehensive, the police chief had the man by his side and they were speaking in low voices.
It seemed she wasn't the only one with secrets. "Miss Y/L/N, can you give me your statement about what really happened here?" the sheriff asked with a certain arrogance and she had to control herself not to be rude, he deserved it anyway. "I don't know what happened, I was getting ready to sleep at the time." "And how did you end up out here exactly?" she noticed that he looked Wooyoung up and down with his petulance standing out in his ego. "I heard a scream and decided to see what it was, after all it could have been one of my employees." Y/N crossed her arms, hating having to explain to him that he wouldn't even look at her. "Did you find no trace of the killer?" "No." "That’s what I need." he left quickly, being followed by the man, without even thanking her or questioning in a more intense way.
What was that?
Y/N glanced at Wooyoung as soon as saw the sheriff's silhouette walk away from her garden. "That was very strange, he didn't even insist." commented and stared at Wooyoung, it looked like he was holding back from saying what he was really thinking. "What's it?" she asked, curious.
He was never this quiet. "We need to talk about what happened." His serious expression took her by surprise.
She had just been interrogated, what else did he want to know? "How about later?"
When she catches her breath from seeing a body hanging in her garden, to be precise. "One day we'll have to talk about this, Y/N." He touched her chin and made her lift her head to look into his eyes. She frowned, still not understanding. "It wasn't a good idea to kiss you after the panic you went through, I apologize for invading your space."
What was he talking about? "What?"
Oh, that was the conversation they would have. "It was a terrible mistake on my part, I'm so sorry." He moved away and Y/N felt her jaw drop. "It won't happen again." Wooyoung passed in front of her and she hurried to stop in front of him. "Are you testing me, Wooyoung?" she questioned, completely confused. "Pardon?" "You come back, then fight with me, leave again, come back here, kiss me after so long and now you say it was a mistake. What do you want after all?" She was tired of it. "Do not blame my vulnerability, I wanted as much as you."
Truth be told, dear Wooyoung. "Do not say that." asked low, closing his eyes for a moment. "I will no longer hide my feelings, I will no longer lie to you. Not anymore." she held his face, making him open his eyes and stare at her steadily."I wish I hadn't loved you again but I did and I don't regret it."
He was silent and she couldn't contain herself, daringly she touched her lips to his once more, in a soft and simple touch.
Y/N didn't prolong the kiss for a long time, she knew it could make things worse, pulled away from him but not before saying one last thing. "I hope you can handle this, Wooyoung, or else you know where it will lead us."
She got out of there as quickly as possible and had to stop herself from looking back or else she would kiss him again. And again. And again until she wouldn't be able to stop. [...] "Are you sure you'll be okay?” Addy asked as soon as she put her feet out of the house. “Of course. You need to visit your family, Addy, the weekend will do you all good.” Y/N smiled at her.
A break for the employees was a good idea, to make them forget the trauma of the murder in the garden while Y/N drank herself to sleep. “But I can ask Joseph to stay here if you need anything.” she would really insist on that option. "I just need you to get into the carriage and let him take you home. It's two days, what could happen?” she asked and Addy stayed quiet. “Remember that I can take care of myself, that will calm you down.” she agreed and hugged Y/N. She more than anyone didn't mind showing the affection she had for the employees, after all, she had practically been raised by them after her parents' death.
“Take care of yourself.” Addy said goodbye and walked to the carriage, Y/N waited at the door until lost sight of her. After what happened at her house, Y/N decided to give all employees the weekend off. She was hoping to spend the two days with Wooyoung, they hadn't arranged anything but she figured if he saw the movement then maybe he could show up. Well, actually spending time with him wasn't the only thing that motivated her. Now lucid, she could retrace the killer's trail, they always leave traces. She had some acquaintances in London she could ask for help, or even Seonghwa who knew a lot of people from his pirate days. Giving up, as Wooyoung had asked her to do, was not an option. She just couldn't keep doing her job in this town, for now. Not when the sheriff seemed determined to derail her investigation. She might even go back to training, she had some favors to call in on some friends.
The night had already fallen and it had brought heavy rain, she loved the rain but on that day in particular it was a bit scary. She was still a little vulnerable with everything that had happened over the past few days, the empty, dark house had never felt so big for her to be alone. Y/N looked at the tray that held the wine and two glasses she had set aside. Hopeful? Deluded? She didn't know why but she laughed as she got up to help herself. Of course he wasn't going to show up.
She had barely taken a sip and her head was spinning just thinking about Wooyoung. In the time he was away, she tried to distract herself with other men. After all, she couldn't wait for him forever. But it was always in vain because it was her eyes that she saw around the corners.
Sometimes she even seemed to have seen his figure on the street or elsewhere, but it was nothing more than an illusion because the moment she blinked he was no longer there.
Leaving a tightness in the heart and a desire to cry that was always supplied by alcohol.
Just like now, she tried to drown her feelings in the wine while trying not to think too much about him, how much she missed him and how much that kiss had affected her. She had known a less angelic side of Wooyoung, and it would be a lie to say that she was no longer interested in the boy. Because she was.
She liked how sweet and happy he was, but knowing that he too was shrouded in mysterious darkness drew her even closer. Well, after all, she hunted monsters.
It seemed hypocritical but she was attracted precisely by the unknown in Wooyoung.
She wanted to dig deeper, find out more why and how he had become so secretive. He had a reason, didn't he? She was already on her second glass of wine when heard a noise coming from the stairs. She even thought about ignoring it, but footsteps could be heard on the top floor of the house, so she set the goblet aside and stopped where she was.
She had ordered all the servants out of the house so no one was there with her. Was her head then starting to create illusions?
She got up from the couch, feeling her heart beat so fast that the corset she was wearing was hurting her ribs. Slowly and very carefully, she went to the front of the stairs and stopped there, straining her eyes to see better since everything was nothing but pitch black. Lightning cut through the sky, illuminating the place and showing that there was nothing, the noise was loud enough for her to jump with her hands on her chest that rose uncontrollably. She let out the breath she'd been holding, feeling weak for being overwhelmed by the darkness.
That was the alcohol making her relive that night all over again. That was why the trip seemed like the best option for her.
Y/N rolled her eyes and turned to go back to her whine, that was her night of drinking herself out. However, she couldn't make the journey back because her body paralyzed when saw a person a few meters away looking at her as if she were prey.
It could be another illusion, must have been, but when she realized that it was the creature she was looking for so long a shiver ran through her entire body, suddenly all the cold weather took over the house and she could hear the wind blowing in her ears.
“Good night, Miss.” he asked and Y/N could see his sharp teeth however she didn't dare to give him any answer, in her head, was already looking for a weapon to protect herself. “Sorry to come unannounced but I think we have some things to work out.” She took a few steps back when he threatened to walk towards her.
She held her breath, trying through her peripheral vision to find something sharp to shove down the throat of the person in front of her.
“Well, Miss Y/L/N, you don't need to be afraid of me, you know very well who I am.” He took off the hood he wore and her jaw dropped, surprised. “Or do you need to?” He smirked and remained silent.
It all started to make sense so quickly that Y/N's head started to spin and it wasn't just from the alcohol. Wooyoung asked her to leave the case because knew that it would hurt her. The body in her gates, the unexplained confusion when she tried to talk to alleged witnesses, the fact that the police were always one step ahead of her in their investigations. “It was you all along.” she said aloud, connecting all the evidence.
How foolish she was.
“Exactly.” He shrugged and took a step in her direction.
“Was the death near the police station on purpose or did you simply forget to hide the body?” she asked, trying to buy time. She had a dagger in the next room, she was near the door, and could run to get it.
“I confess it was an accident, unlike the body I placed at the gates of your home.” he confessed and snorted. “You don't think I'd leave a body next to my station on purpose, do you?” she was silent and he laughed. “Don't be stupid, it made me have to move forward with this case and it didn't help me at all.”
“But you managed to hide it very well, Sheriff West.” she said ironically.
“And I will continue to hide, do not think that I came to confess and then leave, letting you live.” he threatened and took a step forward, making her on alert. “It's a shame to have to kill a woman as beautiful as you, Y/L/N, but I have no choice.” she took it as an opportunity to get closer to the room and if she stretched out her hands she could open the door. “Don't worry, I took care of everything.”  as he said that, Y/N stared at him in confusion and heard a loud noise of glass breaking and she looked up instantly.
The entire ceiling of her house, which was beautifully crafted with the most beautiful glass in the city, had shattered into thousands of pieces and few vampires had touched the ground within seconds.
She only had time to stare at the wet creatures as they snarled at her.
The first one who attacked came running with his mouth open and hands with huge nails out in front of him, she took the opportunity to throw herself against the door of the room, which opened with a loud thud and she fell to the floor. Y/N reached out to grab the dagger from the table and at the same moment the creature appeared, throwing itself at her, which plunged the dagger into the vampire's chest without any hesitation before he sank his sharp teeth into her skin. The animalistic growls stopped when she turned the dagger inside the vampire's chest and in a short time the body fell.
On top of it he pushed it to the side, seeing the pale gray vampire's body. She wasted no time looking for another weapon, her eyes found a wooden cross, her father's relic, on the wall and she didn't think twice before pulling it out. She had been training her whole life for this moment and she wasn't going to die without even a fight.
She left the room and saw that they were waiting for her, the heavy rain falling through the broken window wetted Y/N and she had to hold the cross tighter.
This time, two vampires came towards her and stopped as soon as she raised the weapon, they looked at each other and when they looked back at her, their fangs were already out. Well, the myth wasn't true then, it would be otherwise.
Y/N stuck the cross in the stomach of one of them and the other pulled her back with force, making her practically fly to the ground, she ended up hitting her head but still dizzy, she managed to pull herself back with her elbows.
Y/N's now soaked hair obscured her vision and when she pulled away from her face, she saw the vampire pull the cross from his stomach and the blood spilled onto her floor.
“Eww.” she said involuntarily and the two attacked her at the same time. She tried to protect her body, putting her arms in front of her body and felt sharp nails scratch her arms, cutting the fabric of her dress, before she could even fight for real, strong hands held her by the neck, lifting her off the ground and squeezing her until it became difficult to breathe. She watched as the other vampire, the one she'd hit with the cross, approached with sharp teeth and she was sure this was how her life would end. Everything happened faster than the blink of an eye, suddenly the hand that was suffocating her was no longer holding her and Y/N fell to the ground at the same moment that the body of one of the vampires fell beside her, already lifeless and with a broken neck.
On the other side, before she could understand what had happened, the other vampire fell with a hole in his chest, heartless.
Y/N followed her gaze to the figure that was standing in front of her, holding the dead vampire's heart, and she felt her whole body shiver at the sight of her savior.
Wooyoung.
No, that could only be another illusion. Wooyoung couldn't be there. He was breathing heavily as Y/N's jaw dropped and looked confused, he threw the heart he held as if it was nothing and extended a blood stained hand towards Y/N.
She wasn't undecided whether to accept it or not but she was so surprised that it took her a while to hold Wooyoung's hand, she felt the warm palm and she didn't know if it was because of the fresh blood on his hands or if it was his own heat. “That's so typical.” Sheriff West spoke loudly and she looked into Wooyoung' eyes, they seemed way darker than before. “Pathetic.” against her will, she looked at the sheriff who had removed the overcoat he wore, his look devilish and angry. “I'll kill you both” he shouted and came to attack them.
Y/N couldn't follow what happened next, in one moment Wooyoung was in front of her and in the next the sheriff was blocked by him and the next second, the two collided against the wall on the other side and a hole was made there. Wooyoung was holding the sheriff's neck who had his eyes completely black and his fangs out, he grunted trying to get out of there and get some advantage against Wooyoung. She didn't know how he was managing to get the sheriff pinned against the wall.
“Come on, show her who you really are.” Sheriff spoke and Y/N remained paralyzed. What was he talking about? “Don't you know, Y/L/N? Have you ever seen your love the way he is?” he asked her, though he didn't take his black eyes off Wooyoung. “After I kill you, I will suck the blood and kill her slowly, exactly the way I did with her father.” Wooyoung grabbed him by his clothes and threw him to the ground with such force that she felt the house shake, he growled like an animal and when Y/N looked at his face saw two fangs. No, it couldn't be...
Wooyoung somehow seemed to be stronger than the sheriff and Y/N took the advantage to run to the stairs, opening a trapdoor that held more weapons. She didn't know what was making her think so fast, maybe it was the adrenaline, and she started to load the gun with ammo. Special ammunition, silver bullets. Y/N turned to face them as her fingers moved as quickly as she could, and she saw when Wooyoung now had his neck grabbed by the sheriff, who somehow managed to turn around and kneel on top of Wooyoung. That made her activate the gun and shoot at the sheriff, ended up hitting his arm and he got up, getting off Wooyoung, before he could say anything he closed his eyes and grunted loudly. So this myth was true...
“You know, sheriff, I went after myths about your species and I would like to try it with the murderer of the city.” Y/N shot him again, this time in his leg and he fell to the ground away from Wooyoung, he looked at her with pure hate. “I didn't believe that silver was your weakness.”another shot, on his stomach. He was still, squirming as if the bullets were burning him inside, and maybe they were. “No justice would be enough to punish you properly, so think about your sins…” She approached him, placing the gun on his chest and felt Wooyoung approach her and the sheriff showed his fangs. “...in hell.” she said before shooting him in the heart. The sheriff widened his eyes and fell to his knees, tried to raise his hand to hold Y/N but she just slammed the gun into his arm, making him fall to the ground while grunting in pain and losing his color. It was a matter of seconds before he lost his life right there on the ground while Y/N looked at him in disgust. Wooyoung didn't say anything, he just approached the sheriff's body and put both hands on his neck, she kept looking and watched as he snapped the sheriff's neck and took his head off. Y/N looked away, feeling her stomach lurch, and the gun dropped from under her feet as she tried not to think about what had just happened. Blood, pieces of glass, bodies, pieces of vampires were scattered around her house while the heavy rain was still falling on her and Wooyoung. The only survivors of the attack.
She felt his hand on her arm in a touch so soft it felt out of place. she shivered again when his fingers traced the cut she had on her arm and, unable to resist, turned her face to look into his eyes. The eyes were still dark but filled with guilt.
“Y/N.” he whispered
“When were you planning to tell me?” she asked directly, tired of secrets between them.
“Actually, I didn't plan to.” he was sincere and she crossed my arms, looking away from him. “I love you.” confessed and Y/N paralyzed again. “So much that it hurts my heart.” He grabbed her chin and made her look into his eyes. For her to find the truth in them. “You're in constant danger if we stay close and I wouldn't forgive myself if something happened to you.”
“What do you mean?” she knew very well what he meant but she didn't want to accept it.
"I can't afford this" He pointed to the bodies. “happens again, I won't always be in time to save you.” She wanted to scream that she didn't want to be saved but that would be a lie because she wanted to live, enough to be by his side.
“You will leave again.” she guessed and he nodded. “At least now you know why I'm leaving this time.” he caressed her face, staring at every inch as if he wanted to memorize every detail. “I won't be able to say anything to change your mind.” it was not a question. “I'm thinking what's best for you. You deserve to be happy and I'm rooting for that.” He tried to smile but ended up failing.
“I love you.” she whispered, already with tears in her eyes. “I always did!” “I know.” He got even closer to her face and his lip gently touched hers, to then start their last kiss. Y/N could still feel his fangs against her lips and Wooyoung tasted like blood but none of that mattered because the way he was kissing her was clearly making her forget about what happened a few minutes ago. It was intense, full of feelings they both now knew were mutual, and also fraught with pain. For leaving, for not being able to live what they wanted. He held her face firmly one last time and broke the kiss, touching their foreheads while YN refused to open her eyes but she felt that he was staring at her intensely. She didn't want to say goodbye. “Don’t go, please.” She heard Wooyoung sigh but the contact had been lost and desperate, she opened her eyes to find him already climbing through the broken ceiling. He even stopped one last time to look at her from above and she pleaded with her eyes but he just left at the same time that lightning appeared in the sky.
After the sudden light, there she was back to darkness. But with her duty done.
[...]
“Tell me, Y/L/N, are the rumors true?” she straightened her spine on the chair was sitting on, the clothes she was wearing weren't so comfortable but it was effective.
“That I became a hunter? You weren't supposed to know about this.” she complained. “I know more than anyone realizes.” She went silent for a while, if the rumors were already getting to him then probably whoever she wanted to know about her current situation was also aware.
“That's exactly why I'm here. I need you to track someone down.”
“Wooyoung.” said simply. No one was surprised, not even the underworld creatures.
“Exactly.” Honjoong folded his hands on top of the large desk in his office. He was a vampire, his scent was better than any of the creatures, he was trustworthy. It could help her find Wooyoung. It was amazing how she now found herself surrounded by creatures of the night.
“I think you should know who you're dealing with.” he said, making her raise an eyebrow. “Y/L/N, never wondered where he came from?”
She shrugged. Nobody knew where Wooyoung came from, not even her parents.
“Do you know his last name?”
“He didn't have any so my parents named him Jung.” “Well, do you know the meaning of this name?” She denied with her head. Should she know? “Means, it is the connection between two people that cannot be severed.” “I believe you are telling me this because it is important.” “After a lot of research, I found out that he actually has a strong connection with the Tepes family.” Honjoong smiled, a little murky for her. “ You know who else was called that? Vlad III.”
“The Impaler?” she asked and he agreed. ”The famous prince of Wallachia who is the hero of this nation?” “Did you know that Vlad had a son?” Honjoong got up from his chair and walked around the office. “Mihnea, the Bad.” she followed him with her eyes. “He did not have a very happy reign, nor was he as loved as Vlad, so much so that he abdicated the throne to his son.” “Vlad had a grandson, who was hidden from the world for fear of retaliation. With Mihnea's fame, it was only natural that they would. The child grew up with a curse.” She paid attention, although she didn't really believe in curses, knew that supposedly magical things happen around the world. “At 18 he would become as cold, perverse and scary as his grandfather. His lust for blood and atrocities would be far greater than any other Tepes.” Memories of the night Wooyoung saved her and killed all those vampires returned.
“Are you saying that Wooyoung is the lost grandson of Count Vlad?” her heart believed in that fantasy but reason still brought her back to reality.
Honjoong nodded, putting his arms behind him. “The only living descendant. Vlad's family is very well known and even admired by us.”
“So the rumors were true. Vlad was a vampire.”
“The first of the first.” Honjoong took a step towards her and Y/N glared at him. “So I must warn you, Y/L/N, you are not dealing with any vampire. It's a Tepes.” “I'm not afraid of him.” she admitted. Quite the contrary, actually, she loved him and was willing to find him. “That's not what worries me.”He took a deep breath before continuing. "Y/N," he knelt down in front of her, making her worried. He rarely called her by name. “Wooyoung has many doubts, he grew up without his family, being the monster he was in the times that he was away from you. I strongly believe that you were the only light the poor boy found in his entire existence. So I warn you, if you enter this world of darkness... you won't be able to get out.” “You know where he is.” “I told you the family is known.” “Be more clear, Honjoong.” she asked, tired of it. “Your beloved Wooyoung is coming for Vlad.” She was paralyzed. Impossible. “Vlad was beheaded in combat with the Turks, his head was displayed in Constantinople.” she said in disbelief. It was simply impossible. “That’s what they say, you know there are three versions of Vlad's death. I assure you, they killed the wrong man.” “What are you trying to tell me, that Vlad is alive?” he nodded and Y/N was petrified. She considered getting up from the chair but didn't have the strength in her legs after listening to all that. “Where is he?” she questioned. Honjoong rose silently, turning his back to her. He didn't say a word. “Honjoong…” she gathered strength and started to get up from the chair, approaching the young man who insisted on ignoring her question. “Where is he?” she said more firmly this time. “Paris, with the help of a witch to find his grandfather.” replied low. She stopped to think for a moment, was more confused than before. “Why would you go to Paris?” she asked herself. Honjoong turned back to her and took her left arm with unusual gentleness. “If they find Dracula, they will try to fulfill the prophecy.” she raised an eyebrow. What prophecy? “Vlad will take what is rightfully his, spilling the blood of his enemies and turn everything to ashes, making the world safe for creatures of the night..” She looked into Honjoong's eyes. My God… “Then it is to Paris that we will go.”

≡note: hello, I appreciate your interest in my story, especially in Haechanie! This story draws inspiration from the classic and beloved supernatural theme, particularly vampires. As a writer, I aim to create this story with a sense of ease and enjoyment, a departure from my more serious non-fanfic work. Despite the comforting nature of this project, I'm excited to take on the challenge of giving this well-worn trope a unique twist, if possible. I'll also be experimenting with scenes and ideas from my non-fanfic books here to see how they fit. Lastly, it's worth noting that while I initially inserted myself into this piece of work, I've changed the character's name to Sora (MC). Rest assured, Sora won't be a Mary Sue character; I value a strong plot over wish-fulfillment.

I felt his cold lips peck my forehead through my hair and I shivered even more than I did before. I felt so weak, but I wanted nothing more than to disappear underneath his protection.
"I promise." He said with brooding strength in his voice.
He cradled my head in his chest as my tears failed to stop. My life had been threatened more times than I was comfortable admitting at the time. Falling from that window made me believe that it was truly the end. And the only one who could save me actually did. He was right there, holding my almost-naked body.
"Hyunjin," Taehyun whispered, "I think you should take Beomgyu home tonight while Yeonjun and I fix the room."
"Are you sure?" Hyunjin asked.
I was asking the same thing as I didn't understand why I couldn't be there.
"Yeah, I think it's better for him to be with you right now... Sure you sent Felix away, but there's no guarantee that he's actually gone."
That line put an anxious thought in my head. Felix will always be lurking. Perhaps one is likely to try harder when there's nothing to lose (not even a life) and everything to gain.
"You're right," Hyunjin squeezed my arm, "Are you sure you're okay?"
I lifted my head up to look at Taehyun. He silently nodded.
"I'll take care of him."
Taehyun was entirely right about sending me to Hyunjin's house. I felt so safe in Hyunjin's dark, candlelit room and big soft bed. I lied down immediately and Hyunjin joined. We were facing each other and he looked at me with only kindness in his eyes. For once, he didn't seem so distracted or preoccupied. He was completely focused on me.
"You're so intense." I said quietly.
"I don't mean to be. Intensity is in my DNA."
I chuckled at his charming joke. Despite that, I knew he was serious. He only ever cracked a few jokes around me and they were sandwiched between some of the most traumatic moments we've shared together. He was twisted. That's why I liked him so much.
"I wish I could know what's going on inside that head of yours. I can only get words and scattered phrases, never a full thought."
"Well, I was diagnosed with ADHD at a young age. I've been off my meds since I ran away," I admitted, "So honestly, I wish I could read my mind too... And I wish..."
I trailed off as my eyes fell from his eyes to his lips. They were full, pink and alluring.
"You wish?"
"I wish I knew why you liked me."
And his lips spread into the most comforting and endearing smile, hiding his deep red eyes from view a tad.
"I like you because you're good. You're good and pure. You're beautiful," He grabbed my hand and interlocked his cold fingers with mine, "And you give me something I could never give myself in a million years."
"What's that?"
"Your warmth." He said as he kissed the back of my hand.
That was the most romantic thing anyone has ever said to me. And to make it more romantic, I actually believed him. Even if he was lying, I would've been able to take that and pat myself on the back with it. He's right whether it's true or not.
"Last night, Beomgyu, something happened in the kitchen. It's a bit of a long story, but," He said as he slowly separated his hand from mine and held his palm up to show a rough, reddish mark, "I did this because I was craving your warmth. Craving you."
Sirens and alarms went off in my head. To say he was craving me wasn't the best choice of words considering the events of the last few days. My gaze trailed down his arm to notice that he failed to mention the clear bite mark on his wrist.
"Excuse me?"
"Not like that. I meant I wanted to hold you. Like how I'm doing now."
I stared at his mildly burned palm until he lowered it to a comfortable spot on my chest.
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah, it didn't hurt that badly."
"No, Hyunjin, are you okay," I pressed, "You shouldn't hurt yourself..."
His face fell. He avoided eye contact for a moment while he circled his middle finger around a spot on my chest. He was thinking, calculating. Until he looked back up at me.
"I guess you're right."
"You've saved my life three times, Hyunjin. Don't forget to save yourself sometimes too."
His eyes bounced between mine and my lips. That was until he nuzzled the icy tip of his nose to my nose and flirted his lips onto me. They were soft and pillowy, perfectly pressing into my lips. I closed my eyes and focused only on the sensation of his kiss. I centered my senses on the delicate touch.
Suddenly my body completely surrendered to him. The hand that rested on my chest snuck it's way to my neck and tugged lightly on my hair. Our kisses became deeper as I wrapped my arms around his back and pulled him closer to me. He softly sucked on my bottom lip, but I winced at the feeling of his fangs.
"I-I'm sorry, did that hurt?" He asked.
"Only a little bit... I've never made out with someone like you."
"I've never made out with someone like you either," He swiped a strand of hair from my forehead, "Someone whose mind I couldn't read."
"Does it matter that much?"
"I don't know what you want from me, Beomgyu."
Oh. I was beginning to understand his logic. For centuries, he'd been the perfect partner because of his powers. He was romantically, platonically and even sexually flawless. All of a sudden, he was powerless against me. He was just as clueless as me when it came to the other's pleasure and desires. And honestly, his vulnerability got to me, making my heart beat faster and harder.
"Then just kiss me and let me take the lead."
His face, that was once so shy and unsure, glowed after I said that. He kissed me deeply, fangs muffled by his soft lips. I hummed in satisfaction before turning Hyunjin to his backside and toppling him.
I snuck my hands behind his neck and played with his long, black hair. He hummed into my lips and the soft, seductive sound had butterflies fluttering in my stomach. I sank my body into his even more. That's when I felt the throbbing bulge between his legs.
He put his arms on my back, fingertips pressing threw the fabric of my shirt.
"Do you want me as much as I want you," He asked, sliding his hands down my back and resting at my hips, "Because I really want you, Beomgyu."
"I do." I said as I dragged my hands to the neckline of his sweater.
Before I knew it, his hands were unbuttoning my pants and I was lifting up his sweater. I sat up and looked down at his pale, sculpted abdomen. Tracing my fingers along the grooves of his stomach, I felt my dick harden in my pants. I was silently begging him to remove them faster. So I tore his sweater over his head to reveal his bare chest.
I let my fingers explore his body, the chill heightening my senses. Hyunjin grabbed my hand and brought it up to his lips.
"How do you want me, Beomgyu," He asked as he kissed my fingertips, "Something tells me I'm not as flexible as you are."
"What do you mean?"
"I mean I think you're a switch," He grabbed my wrist and pulled me down so my face was hovering over his, "And I'm not."
"Maybe you can read my mind."
He smirked as he gently cradled me under him in a seamless move. He kissed me from my lips to my cheek, jaw and neck until he got to the collar of my shirt. All the while he was using one hand to tug my pants off.
"But," I said breathlessly, "It's been a while... So, I just-."
"I'll be gentle."
He successfully pulled my pants off and revealed my hard-on in my underwear. it was a vulnerable place to be in, half naked under him. And there wasn't a hint of regret. When his cold fingers traced up my thighs, I felt my body tense.
"But you have to relax," He whispered, kissing my thighs and inching closer and closer to my cock, "And trust me."
Hyunjin's lips met the hem of my underwear. His skin ship was teasing me so intensely, I thought I was going to explode. Then again, it'd been so long since I'd been touched like that.
"I trust you." My voice shook with anticipation.
He kissed my clothed shaft until he reached the tip before sliding down my underwear. He stared longingly at my dick. I saw his mouth twitch in want. I just said that I trusted him, but I didn't trust him not to hurt me during a blow job.
He slipped my length in his mouth, swallowing me without me feeling any sharpness. All I felt was his lips and tongue. And eventually the back of his throat. I gasped at the feeling.
"Fuck," I moaned, combing my hand through Hyunjin's hair to keep his head steady, "Stay right there."
And he did, letting my tip slide in and out of his throat. My hips bucked up and my grip on him lightened so he could breathe. I was gasping for air myself. His mouth was the most pleasurable organ my sex had felt in so long. I was left whimpering when he finally let up.
"Was that okay?" He asked with a perfect combination of sensual innocence.
"Mhm." I moaned.
"Can you reach under your pillow?" He asked.
I reached my hand up until it ran into a small bottle. It seemed I pulled out a very fancy bottle of lube. It was shaped like a human heart with a dark red tint on the glass. He took it from my hand and popped it open.
"Hyunjin, can I tell you something?" I asked as I watched him lube up his index and middle fingers.
"Of course."
"When I first came over, I opened one of your drawers."
"Oh yeah?"
"Yeah... And I saw those glass anal beads."
He chuckled lowly, using his dry hand to brush his hair back from his pretty face. God, he's gorgeous.
"So what? Do you wanna use them?" His question was serious and flirtatious.
"Not yet... Right now, I just want you."
He snuck his lubed fingers to my hole and traced the sensitive circle. I was quickly realizing how good it felt for him to touch me and how my body reacted so naturally to that supernatural human. His eyes trailed up my body, taking in my wet, throbbing cock.
"You're practically drooling."
"My apologies, is it not attractive," He asked cutely, slowly sliding his finger tip inside me, "Your body is perfect, I can't help but salivate."
His spit slicked my ass even more, but the praise is what melted me around his finger. I whimpered and whined as he steadily pumped his finger inside me.
"S-say it again. Please." I begged helplessly.
"Say what," He smirked, bringing his free hand to my dick and stroking it confidently, "That your body is so perfect, I think it was made for me? You were made for me to make love to."
"Fuck." My voice shook on the stimulation.
His finger penetrated deep enough to massage the most erogenous spot inside. Paired with his stroking, I was reaching my climax quicker than I had anticipated.
"H-hyunjin," I squirmed a bit, gripping the sheets at my sides, "I'm s-so close."
With that he quickened the pace of his stroking and eased another finger inside me. He fingered me so perfectly, fast enough to get me off yet slow enough not to tear the sensitive skin. Just when my pleasure was at its peak and my moans became more desperate, he wrapped his mouth around the tip of my cock. His tongue licked and sucked on the tip while he hand rubbed the shaft.
Overwhelmed with pleasurable stimulation, my body jerked and twitched uncontrollably. My moans filled the room, my legs were shaking and my vision was blurred from the sensation.
"I'm gonna cum." I muttered between moans.
And I shamelessly let my orgasm fill his mouth. It was the release I needed from all the madness around me. It kind of baffled me that Hyunjin, of all people, was the one to relieve the stress. At that moment, I questioned how we ended up there. How I went from an insufferable human, to the warmth he didn't know he was looking for. Though it happened to me in real time, I couldn't fathom the possibility of us being intimate like that.
He took his hand off of my dick and took down his pants while his other hand occupied my ass. He gently spread his fingers and loosened me up even more. His pants and underwear were finally off and his long, veiny cock got comfortable between my legs. Hyunjin spit the cum from his mouth onto his hand and stroked his dick.
"You don't mind me fucking your cum back into you, do you?" He asked so casually.
"I don't mind," My hoarse voice whispered as I reached my hand to his chest, "I just want you.”
I was ready for him and whatever he had to give me. He used his fingers to guide his dick inside me. I felt my hole stretch to his size and I grabbed onto his arms for leverage.
"Relax, Beomgyu," He said, crimson eyes piercing through his long, black hair, "Let your body get used to me."
With that I did what he said. I let out a deep breath I didn't know I was holding. It quickly became easier to penetrate deeper. And it felt so fucking good. The slow insertion allowed me to feel every pulsing vein and twitch. He took his time thrusting into me. Every push and every pull fulfilled desires I didn't know I had. It felt right to be full of only him.
After getting to a comfortable heartbeat pace, he lowered his chest to mine and hovered his face over me. He slipped his arm under my neck and held me close. I held him too with my hands on his back. I faintly felt a rough texture line the space of his back. I didn't question it, I just held him as he made love to me.
"You feel so good." He panted, resting his forehead on mine.
"So do you." I moaned.
His pace quickened. My moans got louder and more desperate, but I could tell that he liked it. He growled into my lips. That was the first time I didn't mistake his lust for me with hunger. Even when he let up from my lips, winced at the pleasure and exposed his fangs, I trusted him.
I brushed his hair from his face as he pounded into me. He looked so beautiful. His eyebrows were pulled together in want and he wanted me. He didn't break eye contact with me. He was throbbing inside me, I could tell he was close to climax.
"Beomgyu," He gasped, "Can I finish inside you?"
I nodded. Hyunjin thrusted in me even harder. My hoarse voice only got worse with how vocal he made me. The closer he got, the more desperate he looked. He rested his head in the nape of my neck, clearly letting his dick control his body. He was fucking me relentlessly and it felt so damn good.
"I fucking love you, Beomgyu." He groaned as cum filled my asshole.
My heart was pounding but I couldn't tell of it was a result of having sex or hearing him confess that to me. It was probably both, but the latter worried me. And I was only worried because that was such a loaded thing to say in the heat of the moment.
He pulled out of me and rested on my heaving chest for a moment before laying down beside me. He kissed my shoulder and wrapped his arm over me, still panting.
"Are you alright?" He breathed out.
"You love me?"
"Oh, you heard that?"
"That sounds like a 'no.'"
He grabbed my chin and made me face him. I couldn't resist his gorgeous face that had his hair plastered to his forehead by sweat.
"I do love you, Beomgyu," He said seriously, "I always have. That's not just something I say when I have sex. I mean it... But I am sorry that that was the first time you heard it."
"It's okay. Because I love you too," A sweet, close-lipped smile graced his face, "But I love Taehyun too."
"I know you do. And that's okay. I'm not in love with Taehyun, but I do like him a lot. Especially with you."
"How are you and him so cool about these things? Why am I the only one whose nervous about this kind of relationship?"
"It's okay to be nervous. But, frankly, I don't think you have to be. We love you. Let us love you."
I curled into Hyunjin's body and he held me in his arms. I silently wished that Taehyun was with us, but I knew he was a lot more prudish than Hyunjin and I. But if he had been there to hold me as well, it would've felt even better. Naturally, I just assumed that we would have our time together soon.
"All of this love talk makes me think though."
"Think of what, my love?" He asked.
"Don't you think one day you'll get tired of saving me?"
"Oh, Beomgyu, I could never get tired of saving you. As long as I can, I will," He kissed my forehead, "I love you."

Leech ‑‑ a bloodsucking parasite that feeds off of its host. Clinging and biting and feeding off of a poor helpless animal until it’s no longer needed. Leeches, though small and inconspicuous, share a parasitic lifestyle with vampires. They both feed on the vital essence of other organisms; leeches, with their bloodsucking habits, and vampires, with their legendary thirst for human blood. Feeding all your bad blood to a parasitic worm that sees it as nutritious. While for vampires, the mere thought sends chills down the spines of children and adults. The mere thought of slimy, rubbery worms crawling and feeding on your body is enough to make anyone’s skin crawl. Yet, fantasies of being a vampire and falling in love with one is shown as romantic and an act of eternal love. Even so, both evoke a sense of dread and curiosity, making them enduring symbols of parasitism and the supernatural in human culture.
The room was filled with sounds of sneakers pounded and gliding across the floor, clothes flapping and shifting from the dance moves, as loud music bounced off the walls. You were entranced by the group of men dancing and rapping along to their music with the same passion they bring to the stage. While each boy was putting in their effort, you were more focused on one specific boy. Your boyfriend to be exact.
Kim Namjoon.
Every day you count yourself lucky that you get to be by his side and witness the immense power of his fame. From the moment you met him, he captured you into his charismatic charm. Though that wasn’t the only thing about him that you loved. He is so dorky. You’d honestly never met a more cute and clumsy dork in your life. He may be a genius in many ways, but take him to an art gallery and he will set off into a lecture that would rival the harshest of teachers. No other partner could compare to him. However, there was one little detail that set him apart from all the other people that you have dated before: he’s a vampire. In fact, all the guys are vampires.
At first, when Namjoon had told you, you didn’t believe him. You’d seen him on TV, Weverse live, and in concerts multiple times. If he really was a vampire, people would’ve noticed by now. You laughed when he told you the first time. You just chalked it up to him comparing himself to a vampire because of his hectic schedule. Staying out late at night, practicing for all hours. You’ve watched enough horror movies to know a vampire when you see one. Super pale skin, abnormal appetite, allergic to the sun, only drinks the blood of people and livestock, etc.. Oh, how wrong you were.
Vampires popping out of the shadows and feeding off of unsuspecting strangers, burning into ash when they step foot in the sun… that kind of stuff only happened in movies. You were given a lesson in Vampire 101 by Professor Namjoon in his many famous lectures. Apparently, vampires evolved alongside humans to the point that they don’t really allocate to the same stereotypes as they do folklore. Namjoon told you that there were just as many vampires as there were humans in the world. Vampires were a thriving community as long as they didn’t bring attention upon themselves in a supernatural way, no one would even suspect anything.
However, your love for Namjoon never changed. You still felt butterflies in your stomach whenever he called you or left small gifts for you. He was still the same romantic, but dorky man you fell in love with. Vampire or not. Soon after, he introduced you to the other members. They were a little wary of you, but after a while they accepted you. You completely understood their uneasiness towards you at first. A vampire dating a human wasn’t exactly rare, but it often came with more cons than it did pros. But, you both didn’t care, you especially. Even if you never become immortal, you still vowed to love Namjoon with all your heart and take his secret along with your memories to the grave.
Anyway, as the music came to an end and the boys finished up their dance, you clapped and cheered playfully at the guys. No matter how many times you see it, you never get tired of watching them practice.
“Whoo! I love you BTS!! You’re all so funny and cool and sexy and smart!”
Jimin and Jin laughed at your cheers and J-Hope did an exaggerated bow. Suga rolled his eyes playfully at you.
“Don’t be a smartass.” he sighed with a smirk, out of breath. You laughed and walked up to the boys. You started handing out water bottles to each member, all the while complimenting them. Your eyes soon land on the youngest member, Jungkook. His looks… pale. Well, more pale than usual. He’s hunched over breathing heavily and sweating a lot more than the boys. You carefully approach Jungkook.
“Hey, Kookie…” you called softly. “You okay? You look a little sick? Are you tired?”
Jungkook looked up and flashed a tired smile. “I… I’m good. Just went a little too hard this time, y’know?” he panted.
Jungkook was the youngest out of all the members and a newborn vampire. He had turned not that long ago and was still in the beginning stages of becoming a full-on vampire. When you had met the other boys, you instantly clicked with Jungkook and became besties. After turning, you were his only human friend outside the daily constant of idols, fans, and other vampires. You two bonded quickly and even began to hang out with just the two of you. However, Namjoon warned you that even though it was great that you two were getting along so well, Jungkook was still a vampire. An unstable baby vampire. He warned that even the smallest drop of blood could send him into a murderous frenzy, unable to control himself. You kept that in mind, but to you Jungkook was your friend first and vampire second.
You furrowed your eyebrows in worry as he staggered towards the water bottles. You shot Namjoon a worried look and the others shared the same. You whipped your head back to the sound of a loud thud. Jungkook crumpled to the floor with a loud crash as the table with snacks and water bottles were knocked down and nearly landed on him. You gasped and rushed towards him as the boys followed not far behind.
“Oh my god, Kookie!! Are you okay?!” you shout, helping him sit back up and tenderly rubbing his back. He looked even worse. His eyes were glazed over and he looked visibly more weak than he did a few minutes ago. Jungkook tried to smile, but you could tell it was forced. The boys crowded around, fanning him and trying to touch his forehead. Jungkook shrugged off all the attention.
“I’m fine, I’m fine! I just got a little dizzy…” he groaned. “I’m sorry about the table, Y/N. Everything went blurry for a sec…”
“The table’s not the issue, Jungkook. We’re worried about you.” chastised Jin.
“Hyung’s right. You’ve been off all week.” popped up Jimin.
Suga narrowed his eyes at Jungkook and tried to hold his face. “Let me see your fangs.”
Jungkook flinched back and scrambled to his feet. “N-No! I said I’m fine!” he yelled, backing up further. Suga kept a neutral face and rolled his eyes as he kept walking towards the anxious maknae.
“Oh really? Then, when was the last time you fed?” he probed.
All eyes turned to Jungkook at that moment. He seemed to mimic a feral caged animal. He backed up, touching his back against the glass and keeping his eyes locked on Suga. Suga sighed and walked over to his bag, sifting through it with a cold face. After a few seconds, he pulled out a red plastic bag and walked back over to Jungkook. Jungkook’s face turned from confusion to panic-stricken. He pressed his back even further into the dance mirror almost like he was trying to phase through it to escape. His eyes fixated on the red plastic bag Suga held firmly in his hand.
A blood bag.
Whether unknowingly or with full intention, Jungkook bared his fangs at the sight of the red liquid. A tell-tale sign that he was starving and possibly, close to losing it. Everyone else seemed to be on the same wavelength as you.
“Jungkook,” Tae called in a surprised tone, “have you really not eaten anything?”
“I said I’m fine!” he growled, pressing further into the mirror. Suga took another step forward.
“Uh-huh. Sure. Because your attitude screams ‘totally fine and healthy’.” Suga muttered sarcastically.
The more steps Suga took towards the intimidated young member, the more Jungkook panic and horror developed on his face. His breathing became rapid, sounding almost like the poor kid was going to have a panic attack.
“I told you-”
“Jungkook.” Namjoon spoke up this time. You and the boys all turned to the leader. The reading of his face kept stern and serious, but his eyes had a gentle aura to them. Almost like how a father looks at his kid. Jungkook’s breathing slowed and his face became less tense, but he kept his guard up. “If you don’t drink, you’ll die.” he explained curtly.
Jungkook looked down as his eyes shifted from side to side. He knew that. Namjoon sighed and his face turned calm. “Just take a gulp. Even a sip will be enough.”
“No.” Jungkook hissed.
Suga, seemingly having enough of stalling, walked over to Jungkook faster with an irritated face. “Will you quit being a fucking baby and just-!”
Suddenly, like a caged deranged animal, Jungkook snapped. Picking up the table as if it weighed nothing, flung the broken table like a baseball towards Suga and as a result towards all of you too.
“GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM ME!”
You all dove to the floor, you especially roughly grabbing Suga and forcing him to duck just in time as the table whipped near his head. Your ears rung as the thunderous sound of the dance mirror behind you shatters into tiny shards. Your eyes widened and the air turned cold as you whipped your head towards the broken wall mirror and Jungkook, who had become a completely different person. His pearly white fangs and red-rimmed eyes glowed from the fluorescent lights. The only sounds bouncing off the walls were Jungkook’s gasping and wheezing.
“Jungkook!” Jimin cried out, trying to get his best friend to regain himself. Jolting him out of his crazed state, Jungkook’s eyes turned from unstable to horror, the realization of what he had done sinking in.
“I -- I--” he stuttered. Tears peeked from his eyes as genuine shock and fear over what he had done spread all over his face. He began shaking as he stared down at his hands, not believing that he just threw an entire table across the room like it was nothing. His chest started to rise and fall faster and faster as he continued to choke out words, trying to say anything, anything. An apology, an explanation. Something that would even give the slightest hint that he didn’t mean to lash out. But, he didn’t need to say anything. His hyungs knew that he didn’t mean to. You could see it in his face. Without another word, the scared maknae bolted out the room, slamming the door hard behind him.
You quickly rose to your feet. “Kookie, wait!” you yelled, attempting to try and catch the young boy. But, Suga had stopped you, roughly grabbing your hand. He gave you a gentle look and sighed. “Don’t. Give him some space.” he grunted, lifting himself up. You sighed and looked around the room with the other members. The backside of the room looked as if a small contained bomb had gone off at that side of the room. It honestly gave you the chills how easily destructive a newbie vampire could be, but you also couldn’t fault him for it. It’s not easy changing your entire lifestyle overnight even if you signed up for it. ‘What glitters isn’t always gold’ or something like that.
“Look at this mess…” Suga groaned, trying not to step onto the piles of glass that littered the floor. “This is gonna be a pain to explain.”
You looked back at the door that Jungkook left from, hoping he didn’t leave the building. It was Namjoon’s turn to sigh this time. “That poor kid…” he exhaled, walking up to you. He could tell that you were also worried about Jungkook. You two were really close, almost childhood friend level. “I don’t know what to do, love.” You rubbed his arm in comfort as Namjoon rubbed his temple tiredly. “I’ve been patient, I’ve been understanding, but I don’t think he fully understands the gravity of his situation.”
“I think he knows all too well…” you muttered, focusing on the door.
‘Poor Kookie…’
🦇🦇🦇
Ignoring Suga’s caution to give Jungkook space, you searched the entire building for your scared friend. You looked in every dark corner that a scared young vampire/young adult would run off and hide, but your search led to dead ends and you had genuinely wondered if he ran off somewhere in the city all alone. The final place you rushed to search was the roof. If he wasn’t there, the boys would have bigger worries than just a newborn vampire running around. As you raced up the stairs, you practically knocked the rooftop door off its hinges. Your eyes scanned urgently until you finally landed on your search for a tall figure sitting on the floor with its head on its knees and arms shielding itself alone in the dark. You sighed in relief as you quietly walked over to him so you didn’t scare him away. You didn’t know the extent of his powers, but you weren't going to rule out bat transformation so soon. Though, that hardly mattered. Whether he was ignoring you or just genuinely too deep in his thoughts to hear anything, he didn’t move a muscle. Almost like you or anything around him didn’t exist. You softly tapped the top of his head with a cold bottle of water you grabbed from the dance room. He jolted at the sudden freezing bottle and slowly peeked up at you. You gave him a sympathetic smile.
“Hey…” you whispered.
“Hey…” he whispered back, his voice raspy. His eyes were bloodshot and glistening like he’d been crying for hours. You felt a pang in your heart at the sight of your downcast friend, but you kept a smile on your face.
“Mind if I sit?” you asked, gesturing to the empty spot next to him. Jungkook glanced to the side of him and shrugged, putting his head back down. You sat down next to Jungkook, groaning at the dirty and pebbles already making indents in your butt and thighs. If you knew you’d be sitting on a dirty rooftop in the middle of the night, you would’ve worn longer pants. You tapped his head again with the cold water bottle making him peek at you again. “Here.” You gestured for him to take the water. “Thought you might need it. You still didn’t get to take your water break.”
Jungkook stared at the water bottle for a moment before taking it, criss crossing his legs and holding himself close. “Thanks…” he mumbled, setting it down in front of him. You figured it wasn’t going to be that easy to make him drink something today.
“You’re welcome. Sorry, I was going to grab some snacks but…” you trailed off. Jungkook continued to stare down at the ground.
“It’s fine. I’m not really hungry anyway…” he mumbled again.
You nodded and sighed as you looked up at the sky. Even in the city, the stars still shine brightly around the glow of the moon. “Really beautiful night.” you say in amazement. “You can nearly see the constellations if it weren’t for the city lights.”
“I know what you’re doing.” he said coldly. “You didn’t have to come all the way up here just to check up on me. I’m fine.”
You sighed again and shrugged. “Well, from one human to another, I’m gonna have to call bullshit on that.”
“I’m not a human!” he yelled, tightening the grip on his arms. “Not anymore…”
Your smile was replaced with a look of worry. Jungkook’s face contorted into disgust as he closed his eyes shut.
“I’m a monster…” he whispered.
“Kookie…” you called softly, putting your hand on his tense shoulder. “You’re not a monster.”
Jungkook roughly shrugged off your hand and shifted away from you, hiding himself even more. “Yes I am!” he screamed. “You saw what I did back there! What normal person could do that much damage?!”
There was a moment of silence before you spoke again. “A drug addict?”
“Y/N…” he groaned.
“I know, I know. Not a great time for a joke.” he softly chuckled, scooting a little closer. “But, just so you know. No one blames you for what happened. It… must be hard… having to flip your life upside for a deadly hunger.” You rubbed his back and he shuddered as soft sobs racked him.
I--I… I just…” he choked. You gave him a few reassuring pats, giving him time to calm down and speak. “I thought… when I joined the group that this would be the coolest fucking thing ever. Being a vampire… that’s what everyone fantasizes about at least once. Movies a-and tv shows make it look so cool… but, then you find out that this shit is real and--”
“The cons seem to outway the pros, right?”
Jungkook nodded. “Namjoon said I’d be fine with starting out with animal’s blood. Y’know, cow’s blood, pigs blood… and it was fine! Until… this hunger keeps getting worse and worse until human’s blood is all I can think about.” He whipped his body towards you. “I’m dreaming about it, Y/N! Night after night I have the same dream over and over and over again about attacking some poor person on the street and drinking and drinking and drinking until there’s nothing left! And then, I wake up shaking and covered in my own sweat and instead of feeling disgusted with myself…” he gulped, looking you in the eyes. “I feel so goddamn thirsty.”
“I… I am so sorry, Jungkook. I can’t even imagine what that must be like.” you sympathized, continuing to comfort him. “Have you… talked to the other guys about this?”
He nodded. “I told J-Hope hyung. He said that those dreams were signs that I was ready to start feeding. So,… he took me into this isolated part of the city and… we found this guy just walking around all alone. There’s no one else around and every building around him is closed. He looked around my age…” Jungkook shifted his eyes back to the ground. “S-So then, Hyung walks up to this guy and just…” he sputtered, trying to find the right words. “I-I-I don’t know!! This fucking… hypnotizing shit and tells me to drink from the guy like it was no big deal. But, the moment that I looked at that guy’s face… he was out of it. Like, he was in a daze. I started thinking ‘What’s going to happen to him after?’ ‘Is he going to snap out of it after a while and not remember why he was just standing in the middle of the sidewalk at night?’ ‘What if I take too much and kill him?’ ‘He’ll never even see it coming…’ I told hyung that I couldn’t do it and we went back home to give me some pig’s blood from the freezer.” Jungkook calmed down again and sighed. “It’s one thing to suck the blood from livestock, but when I looked at that guy’s face and saw that glossed over look in his eyes, it just felt so…” he paused. “Violating.”
You nodded, listening intently. You couldn’t begin to understand the psychological torment that every newborn vampire faces. Namjoon and Suga were born vampires, so they’ve already had years of experience dealing with intense hunger. J-Hope had turned way before he was a trainee at an underground dance competition and Jimin and V had turned when they were trainees. So, by the time Jungkook was put into the mix, he was the only one who was going through the intense motions. To go from living a generally normal life with a daily routine to being flooded with wave after wave of uncontrollable urges to consume blood. Suddenly, you got an idea. Not a great idea, but it was better than letting him starve himself.
“Then… how about you practice on me?” you asked. Jungkook snapped his head to look at you incredulously. His mouth hung agape and his eyes widened.
“A-Are you joking…?”
You shook your head and rolled up your hoodie sleeve, barring your arm. Jungkook’s breathing hitched.
“Y/N, no! I-I can’t--! I couldn’t--!”
“Jungkook.” you sighed sternly. “You have three options: 1) You practice on me and together we softly ween you into feeding for yourself and you don’t feel as much guilt. 2) You snap from hunger and become the blood hungry monster you think you are.” Jungkook scoffed at your extended wording. “Or 3) You die.”
The air became tense as you laid out Jungkook’s options. You could tell that the last one was really hitting him.
“What if I hurt you?”
“You won’t. I know that you’re not going to hurt me.”
“You don’t know for sure! What if--!”
“Kookie!” You shook his shoulder, making him focus his eyes back on you. “You’re my best friend!” Jungkook’s eyes softened at your words. “I know we haven’t known each other long, but… I have my full trust in you. You’re not going to hurt me. Okay?” Jungkook was quiet for a while, seemingly contemplating everything. After a while, he sighed.
“You really trust me?” he asked, whispering, holding your hand that showed your bare arm.
“I really, really do.” you answer. You raise your arm close to his mouth. “So, please…”
Giving into your pleas, Jungkook stared at your wrist before then grabbing onto your arm. He hesitated for a moment, his fangs retracting slightly, before finally leaning in to bite you. You immediately winced and clenched your fist from the pain. You didn’t know what you were expecting, maybe thinking it would feel like when you get your blood drawn at the doctors, but no. This was so much more. The pain was sharp and intense; you felt as if your body was on fire, like every cell within you was screaming. But, you knew this was a necessary pain. You clenched your teeth, feeling the warmth of your own blood flow in Jungkook’s mouth. Every so often you get chills rolling up your spine from the feeling. But, you put that all aside. This was about Jungkook. As Jungkook fed, you could see the struggle within him. You could tell he was trying desperately to control the urge to take too much, to avoid hurting you. Minutes felt like hours as you watched him battle with his instincts. Slowly, he began to pull away, his fangs retracting completely.
I breathed out a sigh as he released my wrist, wiping the blood smear from his lips. You stared down at your leaking wrist and suppressed the urge to faint. You shook off the feeling and let out a weak chuckle. “See? I’m still alive~.” you hummed, teasingly, waving your numb wrist at him.
Jungkook chuckled along with you and looked at you with gratitude, but also a hint of guilt. “Thank you, Y/N.” He placed his hand over your shaking wrist. “For doing this for me. And for trusting me.”
You smiled gently. “Anytime, Kookie. I mean it.” you reassured him. Using your other hand, you reached over and grabbed the still cold water bottle. You handed it to him with a playful smile. He returned your smile and took a few swigs of the water, swishing it around his mouth like mouthwash. You pulled back down your hoodie sleeve and stood up, extending out your hand to the now well-fed baby vampire.
“Ready to get back to the other guys?”
He nodded and grabbed your hand to pull himself up. As you both walked towards the door, he suddenly grabbed your unbitten wrist. “Wait. What do we tell the others? You’re dating Namjoon so… I don’t wanna overstep something.”
You gave him a reassuring smile and tugged him along. “Don’t worry, this can be our little secret.” you winked. “Until you feel like you’re ready, you can use me like a leech.”
“A leech?” he grimaced.
“Yeah! Anytime you feel hungry, just tell me. We’ll go somewhere private and you use me as feeding practice. I’ll be your blood source for food.” You laughed as Jungkook whined over being called a leech. “Besides, with how much Namjoon bites me, he won’t even notice a difference.”
You both laughed as Jungkook called you gross and you made it downstairs. It seems like everyone was looking for you both. After gathering all the members from all over the building, you all made your way to the exit to go home for the night.
“Jungkook, are you okay? You look a little better, but we were really worried about you.” said Taehyung.
Jungkook gave a small sad smile. “Yeah, I’m sorry for lashing out. And hyung,” he turned his attention towards Suga, “I’m really sorry for throwing a table at you and destroying the dance room. When I saw that… b-blood… I just freaked out and…” As Jungkook tried to explain himself, Suga stopped him and gave his hair a good ruffle.
“Don’t worry about it, JK. You’re still a newbie. I should’ve had more patience and should’ve known better than to shove a blood bag into a starving and scared newborn vampire. We’ll go as slow as you need, ‘kay?”
Jungkook nodded with a beaming smile, happy to know that his members weren’t upset with him. As the members goofed around and started getting playful, your attention was brought back to your leaking wrist. You nonchalantly crossed arms in hopes to mask the smell and growing dark spot on your hoodie. Namjoon turned to you with a smile and put his arm around your waist.
“Looks like everything worked out!” he exclaimed with a toothy grin. “You two must’ve had a good talk if he’s in high spirits again.”
You laughed lightly and pressed your puncture wound deeper, hoping he wasn’t close enough to smell it.
“Well, duh. We’re friends, so of course he’d listen to me.” you announce in a playfully snooty voice, sticking your tongue out at your laughing boyfriend.
🦇🦇🦇
As days passed, the bond between you and Jungkook continued to grow. Anytime Jungkook needed to feed, you both would excuse yourself at different times and help feed. You kept true to your word and no matter when or where, you’d be there for him. Movie nights, dance practices, fan signings, before and after concerts, etc.. You two seemed inseparable. So much so that even the members seemed to pick up on the air between you two. Even more so, you two were starting to hang out even more with the group. Your excuse? Just a couple of besties just hanging out. Whenever you two met up, it wasn’t all just feeding, but rather having the same likes and hobbies brought you even closer. If you weren’t so sure, you’d think you were really forgotten childhood friends the way you both had so much in common.
Although Namjoon was happy you two became even closer, recognizing that Jungkook’s human years made it easier for you two to connect, he started to get… suspicious? Not that he wasn’t happy for his member and his girlfriend having each other to relate to, but even the other members agreed that you two seemed… undoubtedly close. He’d gotten so used to Jungkook’s cologne being on your clothes that it was starting to piss him off. Which made him feel guilty because if he could trust you or Jungkook, then what kind of leader would he be?
Unbeknownst to the rest of the members, with practice, Jungkook was beginning to gain better control over his urges and now when he bit into you, you barely felt anything. Chalk it up to repetition or feeding control, it was getting obvious that Jungkook was getting better and feeling better. After another feeding session, which you love to call leeching sessions much to Jungkook annoyance, he offered to make you dinner. You first opposed, but he wasn’t going to take no for an answer ‘A meal for a meal.’ he called it. So, you sent a text to Namjoon that you wouldn’t be home for dinner and to eat without you. He hadn’t texted you back, but something delicious brought your attention back to the dinner table.
“Mmm~. Kookie, this smells incredible. You made this?” you asked with a smirk. Jungkook wasn’t the best cook, obviously from the disastrous meals he’s made. He feigned shock.
“Is that supposed to be a jab at my cooking skills? I’ll let you know that my culinary tastes are extraordinary!” he boasted pridefully.
“I dunno… I’ve never met a culinary genius that makes sweet potatoes stick to a plate.” you snickered. Jungkook blushed.
“That was different!” he huffed, setting the food in front of you. “Behold! My tasty genius!”
You looked into the bowl and it took every fiber of your being not to laugh. “Oh wow~. You’re infamous Bulguri Ramen.” Jungkook seemed pleased with himself as he didn’t notice your teasing sarcasm lacing your voice. “Should I kiss your feet for boiling instant ramen and putting your twist on it?” You couldn’t hold back your laughter as Jungkook puffed out his cheeks with a pout, crossing his arms. After a while, you settled down and grabbed your utensils.
“I’m just teasing, Kookie.” you giggled. “Thank you for making it for me.”
Jungkook smiled back. “You’re welcome.”
You both ate in comfortable silence for a while before Jungkook spoke up. “Hey, Y/N? Can I… ask you a question?”
You nodded as you continued to slurp up your ramen. “Well, I’ve been wondering… why did you trust me that night? I mean, how could you trust me? I could’ve easily hurt you, or worse, killed you. Suga and J-Hope told me that newbie vampires don’t have much control when it’s their first feeding and if not monitored currently, the victim will most likely die. We were both alone and… why did you put so much trust in me?”
Before you could say anything, he quickly cut you off. “And don’t say it’s because we’re best friends! I know it has to be more than that.” he demanded.
You chuckled as you swallowed your food. “Kookie, I’m going to tell you a story that I haven’t even told Namjoon.” Jungkook leaned in curiously and intently. If you never even told Namjoon, then it must be an important secret, right?
“My mother was in labor with me for 56 hours.” you started, stifling a giggle at Jungkook’s surprised face. “She said it was the most intense pain of her life, but the moment she met me, she forgot all about it. However, when it came time for me to start eating, I wouldn’t latch. A multitude of nurses came to help my mother breastfeed me. Even my grandmother tried to give it a shot, but to no avail. The doctor didn’t see it as a problem as most newborns don’t latch right away, so he suggested some formula for my mother to try to get me to eat. My mom told me that the moment that a single drop of milk hit my tongue I refused to drink. My parents, the doctors, and nurses exhausted all methods to get me to drink anything: sponges, towels, syringes, spoons, fingers, all to no avail.”
Jungkook had stopped eating and was completely focused on your words. You continued. “So after two days, the doctor told my mother that I’d have to be placed on tube-feeding until they could figure out why I wouldn’t eat anything and how to move forward. She told me that she’s never felt more useless than seeing me in her arms with a small plastic tube up my nose and her feeding me formula slowly through a syringe in a feeding bag. Only then, for me to puke it up 15 minutes later. By then, my parents were exhausted and my mother was falling hard into prenatal depression. She felt she had failed me. That if I died then it would’ve been her fault because she had failed as a mother.” You sighed and leaned forward in your chair, swirling your ramen around. “Well, that night, my mother gave it one more try. She picked me up, held me close to her breast, and prayed and pleaded that I would latch on and finally drink.”
“And… did you?”
You smiled. “I did. My mother cried with joy, and my dad rushed to tell the nurses and the doctor that I was finally eating.” you laughed. “She didn’t let me out of her sight for the rest of the hospital stay. She joked that the feeding tube was so traumatizing that I would’ve latched on to anything put in my face.”
Jungkook let out a silent ‘wow’ as he leaned back in his seat. He never would’ve guessed that about you. You took another bite of your food. “Whenever she tells that story, she has that same fear and worry in her eyes like it just happened yesterday. When I saw you that night, and how scared you looked, like you were afraid of yourself, it kind of reminded me of that and now that I’m not a baby anymore, I believed it was my duty to help another baby learn their feeding skills.”
Jungkook thoughtlessly nodded at your words and went to take another bite of his food when the realization kicked in. “Wha--! Hey! I’m not a baby! I am a man!” he stated proudly, pounding his chest.
“Yeah~, I know.” you hummed, giving him a wink. As you turned your attention back to eating, you missed the red tint that spread over Jungkook’s cheeks. You both ate in silence for the rest of the night and after saying your goodbyes, you headed home.
You arrived home just as the sun was in the middle of setting. Taking off your shoes at the doorway, you let out a tired sigh. You wanted nothing more than to take a hot shower, change your bloody dressing, and curl up in bed. You made your way to the living room, turning to go up the stairs until the sound of someone clearing their throat caught your attention to the couch. You looked over to see your boyfriend sitting on the couch, looking at you with a neutral face. You smiled and walked over to give him a kiss.
“Hey, baby.” you greeted, giving him a peck on the cheek. “Did you already eat?” You looked around the room. You didn’t smell anything other than the air freshener so it made you wonder if he ate a while ago.
“I did.” he grumbled. “How was your dinner with Jungkook?” His voice sounded cold and distant. You quirked your eyebrow. Was he mad that you didn’t spend dinner with him?
“Yeah, I mean… if you can call it “dinner”.” you laughed, walking into the kitchen. You searched through the pantry looking for something small to snack on as Namjoon followed right behind you. “He made me his world-famous ramen and called it art.” After rummaging for a while you found some fruit snacks and were going to make your way back into the living room when Namjoon blocked you.
“Are you dating Jungkook?”
There was a moment of silence as his question seeped in. Your eyes widened and you laughed thinking it was a joke or at least a teasing remark about you and Jungkook being inseparable lately. After a few seconds of laughter and his face never changing, you immediately defended yourself.
“What?! No! Of course not!” you yelled, shocked. “Why would you think something like that?” You were offended at the mere thought. Namjoon sighed and rubbed his eyes.
“Can you blame me? Everywhere I look, you’re with him. You’re at his house for hours, texting him all the time, even during practices you two only seem to talk to each other! A-And now, you’re having dinner dates with him!” he sighed exasperated. “All of this suddenly starts happening after you had that talk with him!”
“This wasn’t a dinner date! And we did talk that night! That’s all we did!” you defend. You sighed and took a calm breath. “Look, maybe I have been spending a lot of time with Kookie lately. So what? We’re friends. It’s what friends do! I don’t get upset when you’re around gorgeous women. It comes with the territory! I knew what I was getting into when I met you and I wouldn’t change that for the world! I love you and only you!”
Namjoon seemed to calm down as you screamed out your love for him. Sighing again calmly, you wrapped your arms around his neck and brought him closer to you. He wrapped his arms around your waist and stared down at you lovingly.
“My moon~” you stroked his cheek lovingly, “I’m sorry if I made you upset by hanging out with Jungkook so much. I should’ve been more aware of your feelings. But, you have to believe me when I say that there is absolutely nothing going on between me and Kookie. For him, I’m his only outsource to human contact that’s not his fans. Everyone he comes into contact with professionally is a vampire. He’s the runt of this whole group. You and Suga were both born vampires so you can’t really relate to his inside struggle he has with losing his humanity. And the rest of the members were vampires way before BTS was even formed so he’s out of the loop, the last one. He’s fighting his inner humanity so much that he called himself a monster that night. I could tell he was hurting so…” you paused, “I’ve been by his side to show him that he still has that humanity in him. I wanted to be his comfort.”
Namjoon was taken aback by your confession. He knew that Jungkook was struggling, but he had never once complained or talked to him or the other members about feeling that way. The monster of jealousy was festering inside of him and misinterpreted your intentions. He’ll admit that some of the members' comments got to him and the sight of you together made him feel like you were distancing yourself to someone more human. He gave your forehead a kiss and rested his forehead on yours.
“I should be the one apologizing. I’m sorry, jagiya. Seeing you with him… I was seeing red. How lame…” he groaned at himself. You laughed and kissed his cheek causing him to blush lightly.
“I’ve never seen you jealous.” he giggled. “It’s kinda hot.”
You both laughed as he called you a weirdo. As Namjoon carried you around the house and you laughed and screamed for him to put you down, you remained ignorant to the changes happening to your body. And yet, nothing could prepare either one of you for the fateful event that would only happen a few days later.
🦇🦇🦇
Somehow, even from the green room, the pulsating energy of the concert venue was palpable as the crowd erupted in deafening cheers. Tonight was another big concert, the air buzzed with excitement and anxious nerves from the staff and the boys. And you… were not feeling good. Sitting in the chair in the Shinji position, you were either going to throw up or pass out. You’d gladly take the latter. Over the last few days of keeping up with Namjoon’s love and Kookie’s feeding, you felt like a ragdoll on thin threads. Your head felt fuzzy and you had to close your eyes to keep yourself from the dizzy spells and falling face first onto the floor. You’d felt like this multiple times in life, but that was years ago when you were a teen. There’s only one thing that can make you feel better now.
‘Cookies… I need something sweet…’ you thought. Recounting where you saw a vending machine, you took a deep breath and stood to your feet, pleading that you didn’t fall in front of anyone. The last thing you wanted to do was worry the members and throw them off minutes before showtime. You passed by a few of the boys dancing and getting in a few last-minute practice moves, squinting your eyes to aid your blurring vision. Before you could reach the door, V called out to you.
“Y/N… are you feeling sick? You don’t look good.” All the eyes were on you. Even the staff stopped to look at you.
“Yeah, you’re starting to look like us.” Jin laughed. You laughed and waved them off.
“I’m okay. Just a little hungry and tired. I’m just gonna go to the vending machine and get a snack. I’ll be right back.” you answer with a smile, hoping they didn’t notice the little waver in your voice. You don’t know if they truly believed you, but again, showtime was minutes away and you would most likely tell them if you were unwell, so they shrugged.
“The halls might be a little crowded, babe, so be careful.” your boyfriend warned.
You waved off the boys again and left to go find the nearest vending machine. After walking for a while and wadding through the sea of busy people putting together last touches to the show, you finally found one. In a dimly-lit dead-end hallway. … Wow. If this were a horror movie, you’d be fucked. Relaxing your eyes, you looked through the vending machine for something to munch on and also noticed a drink machine next to it. Maybe a soda would also help perk you up until you got home. All of a sudden, you felt a familiar cool hand grab your shoulder. You let out a squeal and whipped around, bumping your back against the machine, only to be met with familiar eyes.
“Kookie…” you breathed out, clutching your chest. “You scared the shit out of me.”
He laughed, but something felt… off. He was laughing, but his eyes weren’t. The aura around him felt chilly and he was standing closer to you than usual.
“Y/N…” he whispered, leaning closer to you.
Your breathing immediately hitched as you felt your face heat up from the closeness. “Uh… yeah, what’s up?” you answered apprehensively. You experienced a sense of deja vu, but this time the roles seemed to be reversed with you as the caged animal.
“Tonight, I need you. Right now.”
You choked on your spit at his direct and… weird choice of wording. His face didn’t change, peering down at you with a doting gaze.
“Hah… hahaha…” you forced out a laugh. “Right. Blood. Feeding time.” You tried to joke to lighten the mood, but Jungkook remained unfazed. “Um…” You glanced to the side of the open hallway, but was immediately blocked off from Jungkook putting his face closer to you.
“No one’s coming.”
You don’t know why, but a feeling of dread washed over you. You nervously chuckled again and unwrapped the bandages on your wrist. Jungkook’s stance immediately changed. He didn’t wait for you to even raise your arm. He firmly grabbed onto your wrist and raised towards his mouth. Your eyes widened as he flipped the script on you, instead smelling your wrist as opposed to latching down immediately. He licked around your puncture holes and an eerie chill ran down your spine. He closed his eyes in what looked like pure bliss and your anxiety shot up tenfold.
“Your blood smells so good~.” he moaned.
“Huh?” Before you had time to process whatever the hell was happening, you bit down on your lip trying to stifle the pain as his fangs sank into your wrist. By now, you were completely used to the sensation, but something about tonight seemed different. Normally, Jungkook would take only what he needed to keep his power and energy from going too much off the rails, but now, it seems like he was taking his time and gulping more and more. Tonight seemed… wrong. Very, very wrong.
As he pulled away, a glint of something danced in his eyes. You’d recognized that look before: Possessiveness. Almost desperate. “You are such heaven.” he murmured.
You ripped your arm away from his hold, laughing skittishly trying to calm her down. Whatever is going on, you need to put the kibosh on before it goes too far. “Umm Kookie!” You rubbed your leaking wrist. “You’ve been doing so well lately. I think you're ready to start weaning off of me and feeding off of others.” You nearly jumped out of your skin when Jungkook slammed both his hands near your head, completely blocking you from leaving. You stared agape at him trying to get a read on him. His face twisted with a mixture of anger and desperation.
“No!” he shouted, getting uncomfortably close. You trembled under his intense gaze. What the hell is wrong with him?!
“Y-Y-You’re not scared of feeding anymore, right? S-So… we should just… stop--” you stuttered, trying to be reasonable. Jungkook leaned closer, nearly pressing up against you and lifting the vending machine from its feet.
“You’re irreplaceable to me, Y/N.” he whispered, his face inching closer and closer. “No one compares to you.”
“Hahaha that’s great. ahem Um! But, don’t you think it’s time you find someone else? Maybe… go hunting for your own food. Like a big vampire.”
His grip on your arm tightened, his eyes darkening with jealousy and anger. "No, Y/N. I can't. You're the only one who truly satisfies me. I don't want anyone else!"
You leaned back further into the glass of the machine. Your heart raced as you pulled back slightly, searching his eyes for a sign of reason. Your cheeks felt like they were going to burst into flames at any moment.
“Um… that’s… very sweet, Kookie. But, you’re kinda talking about me like I’m a personal juice box. I mean… I only have so much blood to give.” you chortled nervously. “Plus, y’know, you’re very attractive, charming. There are others who would willingly offer themselves to you."
“I don’t want them! I want you!!” he roared. His grip on your arm tightened, his eyes darkening with jealousy and anger.
You took a deep breath, trying to remain composed. “Kookie, you’re scaring me.” You trembled. “I didn’t agree for you to do this forever! You’re sucking me dry here! Between you and Namjoon, I’m getting bitten up more than a half-naked model going through a swamp tour! And besides, I’m not yours, Jungkook. I’m dating Namjoon and he already thinks there’s something romantic going on between us so--”
He leaned in close, his lips brushing against your ear. “Y/N, I will never let you go. I don’t care about only feeding off you. I don’t care what Hyung thinks. I want you to be mine. I don’t want to share you.”
Your faces were so close that your breaths mingled, and you could feel the intensity of his desire. Just as you feared things might escalate, a voice shattered the moment.
“Jungkook! Where are you?!”
The urgent call for his attention snapped Jungkook out of his possessive trance. He reluctantly released you and turned toward the stage, his eyes still burning with jealousy and longing.
You felt your knee buckle as the adrenaline coursing through you plummeted. Your heart was racing and pounding like drums in your ears and your sweaty palms glistened under the dim fluorescent lighting as bright red marks showed from how hard you were clenching your fists. This couldn;t continue and the display of Jungkook proved it. After the concert ended you were going to tell Namjoon the truth and everything that happened tonight. You staggered forward from the vending machine and groaned.
‘This is what I get for being such a great friend…’
As the concert came to an end, the boys' mesmerizing performance drew the audience into their spell, just as it always did. But backstage, a different kind of battle was raging within you. You were feeling three times worse than you did before. You could barely keep your eyes open, you had a pounding headache, and you could barely move from the couch you laid on. A few of the staff backstage asked if you were okay, a few of them fanned thinking you were overheating in the stuffy green room, but you could hardly answer. The back of your throat felt so dry and your hands and feet tingled and buzzed like there were bees living in your skin. You also had trouble concentrating. You’d blink at the tv showing the performance and then all of a sudden a new song would play. You couldn’t hear anything around you, like the boys coming back inside the room. The loud roars and shouts coming from the boys seemed to stifle quickly before a hush went over the room. Namjoon immediately rushed to your side.
"What happened? Are you okay?" he asked, his eyes filled with worry. He felt your forehead and gasped. “You’re so warm. And you’re shaking!”
I took a deep breath, my strength waning, but nothing came out of your mouth. No matter how hard you tried, you couldn’t say a peep. The boys were now crowding around you, discussing amongst themselves what could be wrong with you.
“Is this their snack on the table?” asked Jin, picking up your bag of chips. “You barely ate anything?”
“I knew they looked pale earlier!” V noted. “Maybe they’re coming down with something.”
“A cold?” proposed Jimin, covering you in a blanket.
“Might be the flu from the way they’re shaking. They’re also way too pale for this to be a simple cold.” Suga guessed.
The conversation from the boys grew quieter and quieter. As the room spun around me, I struggled to stay conscious before collapsing into darkness.
🦇🦇🦇
When you eventually woke up, you stared groggily at your surroundings. It was dark, only some areas lit by a few candles, but you knew you weren’t in the green room anymore. You tried lifting yourself up, squinting at the blinding headache you had. Your body felt dead. Before you could move anymore, a soft voice came rushing towards you.
“Woah woah, my love.” cooed Namjoon, rubbing your back. “Don’t try to move too much.”
You squinted as you looked at your boyfriend, concern written all over his face. “What happened?”
“You passed out, baby. I drove you home, all the guys are worried about you, I told them I’d call them when you woke up.” he explained.
You groaned as you laid back down. You couldn’t believe this. What a way to start an already awkward convo. You rubbed your temple.
“Baby, can you do me a favor?” you begged. “Can you go into my bathroom and get me my medication from my medicine cabinet? It’s in a clear orange bottle.”
Namjoon nodded and rushed to go get what you asked. After a few moments, he came back giving you a bottle and rushed toward the kitchen to get you a glass of water. You chased the pill with a few gulps of water and sighed. There was a moment of silence before Namjoon spoke up again.
“So, sweetheart, about--”
“It’s anemia.” you groaned. “I’m anemic. I’ve had anemia ever since I was a child. My mother has it, my grandmother has it. My mother’s side of the family has a history with genetic anemia.”
Namjoon rubbed your shoulder. “I’m sorry, baby. Why didn’t you tell me?”
“Well, I thought I had a handle on it. Y’know, I’m eating right and staying away from the foods I’m supposed to. I’m 35% B12 vitamins and 12% red meat.”
Namjoon laughed and helped you sit up. ‘Well, it’s now or never…’ “Umm… Namjoon, there's something I need to tell you,” I began, bracing for impact. “I've been helping Adrian with his bloodlust. We've been having secret feeding sessions.” You were expecting screams and harsh words spanning from ‘How could you do this?’ and ‘Are you an idiot?’. But Namjoon just nodded.
“I know.”
You leaned back in surprise. How could he know that? Did Jungkook tell him?! Almost like he read your mind, Namjoon answered you.
“Jungkook told me,” he confessed. “After you passed out, Jungkook followed me to the car, crying about how you two made a promise to let him practice drinking blood on you and you were planning on telling me but he stopped you.”
You leaned back onto the couch with a heavy sigh.
“He also told the story about you and your mother. How come you’ve never told me that story?”
You shrugged. “Well, it’s not exactly a first date conversation. What was I supposed to say, ‘Hey baby, how was work? Oh also, I had to have a feeding tube jammed down my throat when I was two days old. I'm also anemic so I don't know how the vampire thing is gonna work.’ See, how that sounds.”
Namjoon nodded with a slight chuckle. “Well, I would’ve liked to have known.”
You placed your head on Namjoon's shoulder. “I’m sorry. About that and about keeping Jungkook’s feeding thing from you. I was going to tell you tonight, but then Kookie got all weird and clingy. He kinda freaked me out.”
Namjoon raised his eyebrows. “Weird? How?”
“I dunno… He just got all… possessive on me. Saying how he didn’t care if I was dating you and that I was his. It just made me feel uneasy. Honestly, he kind of scared me.”
Namjoon’s face darkened with concern, but then he sighed deeply. “Jagi, I’m gonna tell you something.” You leaned up, looking at him. “First, don’t worry too much about Jungkook. While you were resting, I talked with Suga and J-Hope about the situation. They’re gonna calm him down and talk to him. They’re planning on going on a feeding in a couple of days.”
You sighed in relief. “That’s great.” you smiled.
Namjoon smiled weakly. “Yeah, but now we have to talk about Jungkook.”
You looked at him, confused. “Is he okay?”
“Yeah, yeah, he’s gonna be okay. It’s just… you know how I kind of made it a big deal when I first drank from you?” You nodded. “Well, when a vampire drinks from a human continuously it’s to show our feelings towards that person. It’s how we express comfort, warmth, desire… love.”
You continued to stare at him, confused. He continued. “You say that Jungkook got possessive towards you tonight and wanted you to be his. Controlling. Dominating. Not afraid to cross boundaries. Well, he might be a little… infatuated with you. He thinks he’s your… soulmate.”
“Infatua-- You mean he’s in love with me?!”
“A crush. Just a small crush on you.” he explained.
“Well, I didn’t know that!”
“I know, I know.”
“I was doing it as a friend! I didn’t want him to starve or-or snap and hurt somebody! I didn’t think that it would mean being his soulmate!”
“I know, sweetheart! And I’m sure deep down inside he knows that too. It’s just getting buried with overwhelming feelings.”
You flopped back on the couch in embarrassment. “Well… what’s gonna happen now?”
“Well, while these feelings might be overbearing and a little uncomfortable, once he’s feeding off of different people with a little distance, those feelings should vanish and he’ll be back to being your friend.” he told you, rubbing your thigh. “But for now, his mind is cloudy so he’s not thinking straight. It happens to a lot of new vampires when these types of feedings aren’t monitored. And I would’ve told you that if you had told me what you were doing.”
Your heart sank as you realized the gravity of the situation. You had unwittingly become entangled in a complex web of vampire emotions and desires, whom one believed you were their soulmate.
“Oh my god…” you whined into the throw pillow.
“Hey, like you said, this is all very new to him. He is a newborn. He’ll go out and feed on others. He’ll most likely find someone else and this whole thing will be a funny story.”
You peeked from the pillow. “You promise?” you asked, your voice muffled.
Namjoon gave your thigh a few more pats. “I promise. And I think it was very nice to risk your health to help Jungkook. Even if it was a little foolish.” He leaned over and kissed you with a smile. “Now, just relax. I’m making you your favorite meal and tomorrow we’re going to the hospital to get you checked out.” He told up and made his way towards the kitchen. “I don’t know that much about anemia, but I just want to make sure everything’s okay.”
You sighed and relaxed into the couch. “Okay. Thank you, Joonie.”
You sighed to yourself thinking about the mess you’ve made from your own kindness and unyielding pride. The path ahead was uncertain for you. You couldn’t have even imagined that Jungkook was falling in love with you. You’d have to thank the boys for their determination to ensure that Jungkook could live as a responsible vampire without putting innocent lives at risk. You also had to think about where this put your relationship with him. Maybe it would be best to put some distance between you two like Namjoon said. You sighed deeply and stared up at the dark ceiling.
“My mother was right. I’m too nice.”

Life of Two Vampire Queens (IU/CL)
Author: Just another AI-written story that I came up with. Hope you enjoy and do check out my Masterlist
Tumblr media Tumblr media
CL's POV
I took a deep breath as I stepped away from the throne, feeling the weight of centuries of ruling finally being lifted from my shoulders. The decision to retire had been a difficult one, but with my one-year-old baby, Y/N, growing up so quickly, I knew it was time to focus my attention on him.
As I moved into a cozy beachside mansion, I found joy in watching Y/N learn to walk and say his first adorable words. But the realization quickly hit me—now that I was retiring, I would have to homeschool the little troublemaker. Oh, how naive I was to think it would be a simple task. Life with Y/N was a series of near-disasters and constant mischief.
No matter how vigilant I was, he always seemed to find a way to stir up trouble. One minute I would turn my eyes away, and the next, he'd be dangling precariously from the chandelier.
It was one restless night when I woke up, sensing something was amiss. My heart raced, but instead of panicking, I trusted my instincts. I gently slipped out of bed, careful not to alert Y/N as I crept through the dark house.
His presence guided me, his scent like a compass, leading me to his whereabouts. I found him in the kitchen, sitting on the countertop, his tiny fingers tracing the edge of a sharp knife. The sight brought forth a mix of relief and frustration. "Y/N! You naughty rascal," I scolded, sweeping him up into my arms. "You could've hurt yourself!"
In that moment, I realized that raising Y/N would never be easy. But, as I looked into his innocent eyes, I couldn't help but find his mischief amusing. Life had become an adventure, filled with laughter and the occasional scream of terror. And somehow, amidst the chaos, I found joy.
Days turned into weeks, and weeks into months as Y/N continued to explore the world around him. Each day brought a new challenge, a new opportunity for him to test my patience and creativity.
Teaching a two-year-old was no easy feat, especially when his attention span rivalled that of a caffeinated squirrel. I tried to instill knowledge in him, from basic mathematics to the beauty of language, but his mischievous nature often got in the way.
One day, as we sat at the kitchen table, trying to learn the alphabet, Y/N decided it was an ideal time to toss his cereal across the room, creating a sea of colorful letters. I sighed, on the verge of exasperation. "Y/N, baby, we need to focus," I pleaded, desperately trying to regain his attention.
He giggled mischievously, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "Cherwee!" he exclaimed, pointing at a random letter on the floor. I laughed, unable to resist the infectious joy that radiated from him. "It's not 'cherwee,' darling. It's 'three.' Can you say that?"
Y/N scrunched up his face, contemplating the word. After a moment of silence, he erupted with a high-pitched shriek. "Thwee!"
"Yes, close enough!" I praised him, clapping my hands.
Life with Y/N continued to be a whirlwind of laughter and chaos. Each day brought new adventures, from building pillow forts to attempting to bake cookies (which ended up resembling charcoal briquettes). Y/N was a constant reminder of the joys and challenges of motherhood.
One evening, as we snuggled together on the couch, Y/N cuddled into my arms, a contented hum escaping his lips. I watched him sleep peacefully, his tiny frame rising and falling with each delicate breath.
In those quiet moments, I reflected on the love that enveloped us. Yes, Y/N was a handful, constantly bringing mayhem into our lives. But he was also the embodiment of my love, a tiny piece of me that I cherished.
As Y/N dreamt, I tucked a stray lock of hair behind his ear, marveling at the beautiful mess he had made of our once orderly lives.
And in that moment, surrounded by the remnants of yet another adventure, I knew that the chaos was worth every scream, every giggle, and every hum.
Years passed, and Y/N grew from a mischievous toddler into a curious and spirited child.
Together, we navigated the ups and downs of parenthood, finding joy in the simplest of moments.
The beachside mansion stood witness to our journey, bearing the marks of our laughter and the echoes of our adventures. It continued to be a place of endless discoveries, where love flourished amidst chaos.
Author's POV
Lee Jieun, the newly crowned Vampire Queen, sat upon her majestic throne, adorned in her regal attire. Her royal duties took up most of her time, but there was one task that proved to be an even greater challenge: raising her two-year-old toddler husband, Lee Y/N.
As she presided over her kingdom, surrounded by advisors and courtiers, Y/N would cling to her leg and tug on her garments, yearning for her attention.
Jieun would force a smile, stifling any frustration that threatened to bubble up. After all, it wouldn't do for a queen to lose her composure in front of her subjects.
Her older sister, Lee Chaerin, observed this scene with amusement. With a mischievous twinkle in her eyes, she leaned in closer to her sister, whispering, "Jieun, you're doing such a fantastic job ruling over these bloodsuckers. But perhaps it's time to call in reinforcements. Why not let Princess Kim Taeyeon look after the little troublemaker for a while?"
Jieun considered the suggestion. Taeyeon was a trusted ally and a capable babysitter.
Maybe it was time for her to take a much-needed break from the demands of parenthood. "You know what, Chaerin? I think that's a splendid idea. Let Taeyeon have a turn at keeping Y/N entertained."
And so, during a particularly intense negotiation meeting with the neighboring werewolf clan, Princess Kim Taeyeon took charge of the mischievous toddler.
She carted him off to the playroom, where toys and distractions galore awaited.
Jieun breathed a sigh of relief, grateful for the momentary respite. With her mind now free from the worries of hearing a tiny voice during important discussions, the queen focused on the matters at hand.
She deftly addressed each concern, displaying the grace and wisdom befitting of a ruler.
But just as she thought she had found her equilibrium, a shrill cry of longing pierced the serenity of the throne room. Jieun's heart sank as she recognized that unmistakable wail—it was Y/N.
She hurriedly excused herself and raced to the playroom, finding Y/N tucked in a corner, surrounded by toys he had flung to the floor during his tantrum. Her heart softened at the sight of his tear-streaked face, and she couldn't resist the urge to scoop him up into her arms.
"There, there, my little one," Jieun cooed, gently rocking him back and forth. "Mama is here. Mama will always be here."
She kissed his forehead and carried him back to the throne room, where he nestled against her shoulder.
As she settled back onto her throne, she addressed her advisors, exuding a newfound determination. "From now on, I will manage both my duties as the Vampire Queen and my role as Y/N's guardian. I will show him the love and attention he deserves, regardless of where life takes me."
And so, Lee Jieun embraced the challenges of ruling her kingdom and raising her two-year-old toddler husband.
With a balance of patience, love, and the occasional interruption, she found a way to fulfill her responsibilities with unwavering grace.
As Y/N grew older, he became more accustomed to the courtly affairs, often joining Jieun during important meetings.
Together, they thrived, their unique dynamic becoming the talk of both vampire and human realms alike.
And so, the Vampire Queen and her remarkable toddler husband presided over their kingdom, leaving an indelible mark on the immortal world and proving that love knows no boundaries, even in the unlikeliest of circumstances.
"Yes! I shall conquer this throne!" Jieun proclaimed, hugging Y/N close, laughter filling the air.

Reader's Pov
Vampires, uh? Fascinating creatures. Some love them and some hate them. Some fear them and some cheer for them. But how much do we really know about them?
Little, to be honest. However the episode i'm about to tell you surely will help you to know them better.
You must know that Hybe, one of the most important company of the country is ruled by vampires, but they are not all the same. Oh no, it would be too easy. There are different clan.
The one I will talk about today is the latest, the new entry, the one composed by the youngest vampires, an in particular, all women.
But enough with the notions from school book. Let's get into the action.
That night you were definitely too well-dressed for your destination: a nightclub. To be precise one of the most famous of the city: the Sour Grapes.
Even before entering the club, you noticed something unusual. This pretty young girl was a few steps from the local and she was just minding her business.
But when you passed by her, she looked into your eyes and give you her biggest smile. It melted your heart. And then she started talking to you.
"Hello, who are you?" "Hi, lovely girl, I'm Y/N, and you?" "I'm Eunchae, nice to meet you! Are you going to the Sour Grapes?" "Yes, indeed, why?" "Oh, well, I was thinking that someone with such a beautiful suit shouldn't be lining up, would you like to enter through the staff entrance?"
You were surprised by the sweetness and confidence of this teenager, but you were also worried about another thing. "Yes, Eunchae, I would love, but are you not too much young to work in such a place?" "And are you not too much classy to visit such a place?".
"Touché" you thought. "However", she continued, "don't worry, I only work in kitchen. Now come with me!" Said that she grabbed your hands and she took by you in the alleway.
You two entered in the club and for just a moment you were displaced by the lights and sounds of the local. But with help of the little Chae, you overcomed them in no time.
After few minutes Eunchae started running towards a person, while calling her name, "KURA-CHAN!".
The person, that you presumed to be japanese by her nickname, hugged the younger one and then looked at you for seconds that seemed hours. She was not just looking at you, she was staring as she was judging you.
The moments ended because Eunchae introduced you and explained you that Sakura, her complete name, was the nightclub's manager.
"Oh, Eunchae, you did a great job! Such a beautiful person should be a guest of the Sour Grapes. Now leave this to me. And go talking to Chaewon, she needs to be...informed".
That’s when you knew the game had started
From there you said bye to the maknae and let Sakura show you her local: the tables, the pole dance poles and the bar.
Here she started talking to the bartender, "Yujin-ah, do you see this beautiful face? Well, tonight everything is on the house for this face. So, do your best to satisfy Y/N."
Yujin bowed to her superior, then started talking with you. "Hello gorgeous, what can I do for you?". You thought about it one second, maybe two, and with the utmost nonchalance, you said...
"A Bloody Mary". Yunjin looked at you with a giant smirk on her face. When you asked her about it, she only answered "Oh, I just found it funny, because it's my favorite cocktail".
She gave you the cocktail and then has shown you the way to the best spot to watch the pole dancers. But before you went, she said "If you need anything, just raise a hand and someone will come to you"
With the red liquid in your hand, you reached the spot Yunjin pointed to you. You sat on a comfy sofà and started chilling.
After few seconds a girl approached the pole and started looking at you. She was pale, beautiful and her facial features so delicate. You two didn't talk actually, but you did it with your eyes.
A man near the DJ announced with a micro "And now starts the show of Kazuha, the Japanese swan". And he was damn right. Her elegance on the pole was incredible. Sometimes it seemed to you the she almost floated.
You were mesmerized by her performance. You could have stay here for hours without stopping watching her, but someone interrupted you.
It was this man clearly drunk, more gel than hair and the shirt which was about to explode due to his belly. "Look at you, all alone in this dark place, do you need some company?"
You simply looked into his eyes and said "No, go away". You must have hurt his pride because his drunk face turned into an angry espression.
"How dare you tell me what to do? You'll pay for this, you stupid b-". His rant stopped because out of nowhere he collapsed. You thought he just passed out because he was drunk as hell.
Actually it was not the reason. In fact right behind the figure of the big man, there was a short girl with the bob haircut.
"Sorry for the inconvenience, I hope this asshole didn't bother you too much. I'm Chaewon, the head of the security, and I would like to give you my honest apologies".
So she was Chaewon. You told her that it was all good, but she insisted to help you to clean up. In fact the drunk man, falling on the floor, spilled part of his drink on you.
At the end you accepted, so she started to guide you towards the toilet. But you were not that stupid and you know perfectly that you were going to the opposite direction.
So when you ended up in the initial alleyway, you were not surprised. And you were not surprised neither by the fact that outside Kazuha, Sakura, Yunjin and Eunchae were waiting for you.
Chaewon, behind you, pushed you in the middle of the group. "It must be our lucky day, girls, such a rare bloody type is quite something to find", said Sakura.
"Even better if it comes to you on its own legs. Come on girls, let's start the meal". Finished Yunjin. All the girls let their sharp canines go out.
Tsk tsk. Young vampires...how boring. They are so predictable and ingenuos. You could simply take your silver gun and end them in few minutes, but why do not have a bit of fun?
At the first step they made towards you, you simply took off your coat. They freezed. "What is this smell? It's terrible. I can't breath." Said the maknae.
"Oh, this? This is pink garlic of Agrigento, Sicily. One of the best vampire repellent", you answered.
"Why did we not smell till now? Kazuha asked. "How did you know our identities?" was the question of Chaewon.
"Why? How? What? Oh, come on, girls, this is not school. I have rare blood type, as you said, so I live with a target on my back. Being prepared is the minimum".
The girls at that point were about to pass out. It was a matter of seconds. While the blacking out, the last thing they heard was your voice. "Thanks for the night, girls, I had fun. I have been your guest, so be mine for a bit. Goodnight".

The blood-red liquid in the flask stares at you in an almost menacing way and you squint at it in return, wondering what the hell did you do wrong this time. Did you boil it too long? Or maybe you used the wrong ingredients?
No, that’s not possible, you triple checked all the ingredients and the amount before using it. Perhaps you missed a step? Giving out a frustrated sigh, you push your hair back with your hand.
You turn to look at your lab partner, maybe he knows what’s going on but as soon as you do, your breath briefly catches in your throat. Heeseung’s staring at the flask that’s in your hand in a really weird manner.
As the seconds roll by, you watch as his brown doe eyes widen slightly, his pupils dilating, his stare becoming more and more intense. He even licks his lips and takes an audible gulp. It’s as if the potion has him entranced just by existing.
“Heeseung.”
Your voice doesn’t catch his attention so you opt to snap your fingers right in front of his face. In response, he blinks once, then twice, then shakes his head and turns towards you. Giving you a sheepish smile, he apologises for zoning out.
Despite saying so, his eyes go back to staring at the flask in the same weird manner again after you put it down on the flask rack. It makes you feel confused, what is this potion?
Wanting to find some answers, you start searching through your alchemy textbook. Too occupied to pay attention to your surroundings, you don’t notice what Heeseung’s doing until it’s too late. When you do notice, he’s already got his hand on the flask and is now drinking the potion.
“Heeseung, wait, no!”
Quickly grabbing the flask away from him, you start nagging at him, “Are you crazy? What’s wrong with you? You can’t just be drinking any potion that you see, we don’t even know what this is!”
But his eyes are spaced out and you’re pretty sure that he’s a goner, not even here anymore. A drop of red liquid trails down from the corner of his mouth to his chin and he doesn’t even bother to wipe it away. He just keeps on staring at the damn flask in your hand.
Because of the way he’s acting, you’re prompted to throw the whole potion inside the sink in front of you. You hear him whine as the last drop of potion disappears into the drain.
“Goddamn, I know you’re a vampire and all but come on, don’t you have any self-control? When was the last time you feed?”
As soon as you’re done dumping the contents of the flask, you give it a shake, making sure there’s nothing left of the potion. Immediately after, you feel his body slump against you, his head buried in your neck.
Surprised at his sudden action, you take a step back in response, trying to balance yourself and him. Then, gently placing the flask down on the table, you rest your hand on his head while your other hand rests on his shoulder.
You both stay like that for a while, him not doing anything except breathing heavily in your neck and you just wondering why what the hell is going on.
Then, all of a sudden, you feel lightheaded; your heart starts beating faster and there are suddenly butterflies in your stomach. Your knees start getting weak and you have to rest your hand on the table to steady yourself. It’s also getting harder to get your eyes and brain to focus on the situation in front of you.
And then he does something; he licks the side of your neck. That’s when it hits you and you kind of realise what he’s trying to do.
“Are you trying to feed on me?”
Although he doesn’t answer you verbally, his actions tell you his answer loud and clear. As soon as you feel his fangs graze against your neck, you tightly grip his hair and roughly pull his head backwards. That earns you a sharp hiss.
In his dizzied state, he somehow manages to choke out, “Please?”
Feeling sorry for him, you wonder how long he hasn’t been feeding for him to be this desperate. As he looks at you with lustful eyes, you ask him, “Do you want me to call Jay?”
You slowly let go of your grip and continue in a soft tone, “I don’t know what to do in situations like this…”
Heeseung just stares at you intensely and licks his lips in response, most likely focusing all his energy on keeping his seductive trance on you. Closing your eyes, you do your best to control yourself since it’s obvious that it’s up to you to control the situation right now and although it’s hard to resist him, you try.
That doesn’t mean you succeed though. Because the moment he starts whining in your ear, you move him so that he’s the one leaning on the table now. Your lips quickly attach themselves to his and despite his initial shock, he melts into you rather quickly.
Moaning into your mouth, he pulls you in closer to him — so close that your bodies are pressed up against each other. As he lets your tongue ravage his, your heart begins to beats faster and your head begins to get dizzy.
Practically feeling your self-control slipping, Heeseung can’t help but smirk to himself as you start trailing kisses on his neck. He lets out a soft moan when he feels you biting his neck — he can’t help it, vampires are more sensitive than everybody else.
His body rocks into yours and although he really likes what he’s feeling right now, he’s so terribly desperate for some blood and he can’t really keep up his seductive trance on you anymore since it’s draining too much of his energy. So he lets go of his grip on you, not physically though.
Slowly, your senses start coming back to you and you blink as your eyes adjust. Taking advantage of your still dizzy state, he whispers to you in a low tone, “Want to trade?”
Despite still being a bit dizzy, his words pique your curiosity. You hum at him, encouraging him to explain what he means.
“My body for your blood.”
Okay, now you’re really interested. Since you’re back to your normal state, you’re fully aware of what’s going on and fully in control of your actions now. Still, you can’t help but blink at him, a little dazedly, not sure if you heard him correctly or not — not sure if this is just a fragment of your imagination or not.
Does he really mean that he’ll have sex with you just for a bit of your blood? This situation seems absurd to you, especially when taken into consideration how you know that Heeseung doesn’t have sex with just anybody.
It’s obvious because you’ve never once heard anybody talking about how it was like having sex with Heeseung and you’re sure that if someone did have sex with him, they would brag about it to hell. And you can’t blame them because you’d do the same. What can you say? Heeseung’s a really hot vampire.
But maybe your mind is in the gutter and he doesn’t really mean sex — which is a more logical situation. Maybe he just means doing service related stuff like carrying your bag to class or buying you lunch?
Just as you are about to ask him to clarify what he means, he whispers in your ear with the same low tone he used before, “Whatever you want from me.”
“Whatever”… that means…
Yeah, it totally means sex. And just to be sure you got the right message, he looks at you in the eye and continues, “I know you want me. You wouldn’t have been all over me if you didn’t.”
“Now, hold up. I think I should remind you that you used your seductive trance on me.”
He smirks at that. “I mean, yeah but you still wouldn’t have kissed me if you didn’t want me. The trance doesn’t make you do stuff you don’t want to do, you know. It just makes you honest and impulsive… like a truth serum.”
You narrow your eyes on him, contemplating your choices. Truthfully, you’re not much of a fan of getting blood sucked right out of you.
Looking at you with a pleading look, he tries to coax you into agreeing with the trade, “Please? You can have my body. Hell, do whatever you want to me. Just give me a bit of your blood. I’m so thirsty right now, please?”
There are so many questions you’d like to ask him; why you? Why not just get Jay to get him a packet of animal blood? Will it hurt? How much is he going to take? What about the side effects?
As if he can sense your thoughts, he rests his hand on your waist and pulls you in closer, “Come on, please? I’ll be a really good boy for you.”
Sighing, you tell him seriously, “Hee baby, I don’t think you know what you’re getting yourself into.”
But he’s already shutting you and your thoughts up with a kiss — one that turns heated really quickly. Since he obviously doesn’t know how intense you can be, you’re going to show it to him.
As your tongue goes to explore every inch of his mouth, he lets out a soft moan, not even bothering to fight for dominance. By the time you pull away from him and rest your forehead on his, one of your hands is already palming him through his pants while the other covers his mouth, forcing him to stay quiet.
He can’t help but whine as he slightly grinds into your hand, his breathing heavy and his eyes full of lust. His hands leave your waist — one goes to your wrist (the one that’s palming him), gripping it tightly while the other goes on the table behind him for support. You push your palm against him more and he whines again, throwing his head back.
Bringing your lips close to his ear, you whisper to him, “Are you really that desperate so much that you’re willing to whore yourself out just for some blood?”
Unable to deny, he can only nod and gasp in response, his grip on your wrist tightens.
“So desperate that you’re willing to be my slut, huh?”
You feel him shiver for a bit before he nods again. He stares at you with half-lidded eyes for a while until you finally get the memo that he wants to say something. Letting him speak, you move your hand that was on his mouth to play with the neckline of his t-shirt.
“But like, can we not do it here?”
You laugh at that. “Where then?”
“My room?”
How could you ever say no to this man? You give him a nod in agreement but something crosses your mind — you’re curious about one thing.
“What are you gonna do about this though?” He bites his lip as you say that, his ears turning a soft shade of red as you continue to press your hand against the bulge in his pants.
Quickly taking off his black jacket, you take a step back from him as he ties the arms around his waist. It doesn’t hide much but it’ll do. Besides, you don’t really care much about it. That’s more of a him problem.
“There, let’s go.” Grabbing your hand in his, he starts pulling you to the door but you, being a responsible university student, remind him, “Hee baby, I know you’re impatient but we gotta clean up first.”
He groans at that. Nevertheless, he doesn’t complain and quickly cleans everything up with you.
┄┄┄┄
The walk to his room is quick since it’s quite close to the lab. When you both get there, he asks you to wait outside for a moment. It’s not a big deal for you so you wait outside in the hallway while he does whatever he’s doing, maybe doing some last-minute cleaning.
By the time the door opens again — which isn’t long, a confused Jay steps out. He notices you standing there and you see a spark of realisation in his eyes, the confusion on his face disappears instantly.
“Hey, Jay.”
He smiles at you and just laughs in response, saying he’ll be back at 10 and to have fun. You watch as his silhouette disappears out of your view and by that time, Heeseung’s already pulling you into his room.
Once you’re inside, he traps you against the door, body pressing against yours, his hands on your hips and his thigh in between your legs. His lips immediately meet yours in a fierce and passionate kiss.
It doesn’t take him long before he pulls away from you and starts kissing down your neck. It feels good and you love neck kisses but you know what he’s trying to do.
Keeping your guard up, you run your hand through his hair and grind into his thigh. He starts licking the side of your neck and you don’t know how he’s so good at this, he almost makes you forget, almost makes you drop your guard down with every move of his tongue against your neck.
Fortunately for you, you feel it immediately; the feeling of his fangs against your skin. It prompts you to grip his hair and roughly pull it back. He whines in response. “Be patient. You don’t get a taste of me until you’ve earned it, understand?”
You let go of your grip on his hair as he hums, signalling his understanding of the situation.
“Now get on the bed.”
“What are you going to do if I say no?” He says as he gives you a teasing smile.
Oh? So he wants to be a bit of a brat now, huh?
Well, that’s perfectly fine with you, you’ll put him in his place. Grabbing his hips, you forcefully push and move him back. He stumbles a bit as you guide him to his bed — at least, you hope it’s his bed, it seems like its his bed.
Eventually, you push him and he falls into it. Wasting no time, you climb on top of him. Pinning his hands down on both sides of his head, you bring your lips near his ear and say to him, “If you’re gonna be a brat, Heeseung, just know that I make brats cry.”
He doesn’t get a chance to reply to you because you’re already kissing him again, all hot and rough. It makes him hard to keep up with you and eventually he just lets you kiss him like that, your tongue once again exploring his mouth. Your hands push down on his and he laces them together, moaning a bit when he feels you push his hands harder against the sheets.
Pulling away from him, you press your leg against the budge in his pants and start trailing kisses down his neck. When he feels your tongue on his neck, he can’t help but throw his head back as he grinds into your leg. It makes you lose control, he makes you lose control. You just want to ruin him, hear his sweet voice beg for you.
“Fuck, we need a safe word because I want to ruin you so bad you don’t even know.”
It’s when you start biting he starts getting noisy. All his gasps and moans start coming out but he manages to choke out the first word that comes into his head, “Apple.”
“Our safe word is apple?”
Heeseung feels his heart beat faster at that, your words repeat in his head; our safe word is apple? God, he wants to do this again with you and he’s not even talking about sex since you two haven’t even gotten there yet. He just wants to be with you, spend time with you, make you happy, make you feel good. And although it’s obvious that Heeseung’s not the type to have sex just for fun but for you, he doesn’t care. He’d let you use his body any time… because it’s yours anyway, he thinks.
He doesn’t want to scare you off or ruin the moment though, so he keeps his question for another time and tells you, “Yeah.”
“Say it again,” you say as your hand lets go of his and starts palming him.
“A-apple,” he stutters, his head starting to get hazy.
“Good boy.”
He practically melts at your praise. It looks like you just found out one of his kinks. Your mind is already starting to think of ways to use that to your advantage because one thing’s for sure; you’re gonna make him beg. You’re not sure if that’s gonna be easy or hard but that’s what makes it fun.
Sitting up, you straddle him. Your hands move to unbutton his pants but just as you’re about to free his dick, you hear a phone ring. A bit annoyed, you look in the direction where the sound is coming from.
“Undress. By the time I come back, I want you naked,” you say to him as you make your way towards the phone.
He doesn’t even tell you that it’s his phone and not yours, he doesn’t really care either way. Besides, he’s curious about what you’re going to say.
You find the phone on his desk, amongst other stuff including books, pencils and even empty blood bags that you pay no attention to. You put the phone at your ear as soon as you accept the call, not even looking at the caller ID.
The sound of a feminine voice whining captures your attention, “Heeseung baby, finally you picked up my calls! Where are you?”
Feeling a bit weirded out, you look at the phone. You give a quiet chuckle when you realise that Heeseung didn’t even save this person’s number. You’re about to look back at Heeseung until you feel his arms wrap around you, pulling you flush against his naked body.
He feels so good like this — his built chest pressing against your back, his head in your neck, you feel his hard-on against your back too. He’s being a brat again because one of his hands is starting to grope your breasts underneath your shirt while the other starts making its way to your cunt.
“Who is it?” He whispers to you as he plays with your boob, kneading it in his hand. His other hand is already underneath your underwear and he’s rubbing circles against your wet cunt. He’s so good at this too and you let him continue while you return your attention to the person on the other side of the call.
“I’m sorry, who is this?” You ask, not even hiding your heavy breathing.
The person seems outraged, given by their tone of voice when they reply, “Who the fuck are you and why are you answering Heeseung’s phone?”
It makes you want to laugh but before you’re able to do that, Heeseung inserts a finger inside you and starts kissing your neck. His grip on your breast tightens as he pinches your nipple, all the while thrusting his finger as deep as it can go inside you.
You don’t even bother to hide your moan, telling him to keep going, “Yeah, just like that Hee baby. God, you’re doing so good, you feel so good.”
Feeling his dick twitch against your back from the praise that you gave him, he continues his actions with more intensity. You’re sure that he can hear the other person on the line and you’re not sure what their relationship is but you don’t care because right now, Heeseung is yours and you’re gonna make this person know that.
Meanwhile, this person is more than outraged, even more so when you tell her, “Sorry babe, Heeseung’s mine,” and hang up the call. When you finally put down the phone, Heeseung starts speaking.
“Sorry about that, I don’t know her, she’s been stalking me like crazy. I’ll make it up to you, I promise,” he says in his usual soft tone, worried that you might get the wrong idea.
But you really couldn’t care less. You grab his hands and reluctantly pull them off you. Then, you spin around so that you’re now facing him. He quickly breaks eye contact with you, knowing that he’s gonna get it now for being a brat… and yet he can’t contain the thrill and excitement in him. It makes him smile teasingly at you despite not being able to look you in the eye.
Grabbing his face in your hand, you make him look at you. His breath catches in his throat when he sees the intensity in your eyes. You wrap your hands around the back of his neck and pull him in closer to you. He thought you were going to kiss him but instead you only pull his head closer because you wanted to whisper something in his ear, “Is there any way that I could mark you?”
He bites his lip at that. The thought of you marking him turns him on more than he’d like to admit. He’d love for you to be able to leave marks on his skin and he’d definitely show it off, he doesn’t care who sees, he wants everyone to know that only you can mark him, that he belongs to somebody and that somebody just happens to be you. But alas, there’s not really any way to mark a vampire if you’re human.
“I… I don’t think so,” he tells you softly after thinking about it, “My skin would heal way too quickly.”
Just to be sure, you try it out. Your lips attach themselves to his neck and as you bite hard on it, a loud gasp falls out of his mouth. He doesn’t complain though and albeit you know that you probably shouldn’t take advantage of that, you still do.
So you bite him again, this time, sucking hard on his skin right after. He holds onto you as you do that to keep himself steady, trembling a bit. When you’re done, you pull away to look at it.
Unfortunately, he’s telling the truth. You watch as the bruise you left quickly heals itself, turning a shade of red back to the colour of his skin. In your opinion, it healed itself way too quickly for a vampire who hasn’t fed in like a week… but then again, you’re not a vampire so what do you know?
He notices you pouting and suddenly remembers something, “Um… but there is… scent?”
“Scent?”
“Yeah, scent. Um, a human probably won’t notice it but others would.
That’s true though. Despite being full human, you already know that everyone else’s sense of smell is very sensitive, so sensitive that they can probably smell you on him from miles away. Okay, that’s obviously an exaggeration but yeah, that works… you guess.
“How long does it last?”
“A couple of days, I guess.”
“Is there really no other way?”
“Not unless you’re a vampire too,” he bares his fangs at you with a smile right after he says that.
Hm, fair enough. Deciding to let it go, you tell him to get on the bed as you start taking your clothes off. Surprisingly, he obeys and does so rather quickly with no teasing comments whatsoever. So he can be obedient, you think to yourself. That means he’ll beg.
He sits down at the edge of the bed and watches you strip down. You don’t have to look at him to know that his eyes are hungry, just taking in every single inch of your bare skin. Pulling down your soaked underwear, you finally make your way towards him.
You know he wants you on top of him. That’s obvious, he’s ready to pull you down onto the bed with him but you have other plans. As soon as you’re standing in front of him, his hands go out to touch your waist but you swat them away.
As he looks up at you in desperation, you grip his hair, throw one leg over his shoulder and pull him into your cunt. Like an obedient puppy, he immediately parts his lips and starts eating you out — licking into you, sucking on your clit, lapping at your juices. You can’t help but moan at the sensation of his tongue on your cunt.
It takes him a while to figure out what you like but he eventually gets there. Your grip on his hair tightens and you start panting when he starts tongue-fucking you.
The feel of his hot tongue inside you just drives you insane. It makes you grind against his face. When he pulls his tongue out to swirl it in circles around your cunt, you’re unable to stop yourself from inserting two of your fingers inside you.
The thrusting of your fingers combined with the sensation of his tongue on you drives you to the edge. There’s a knot in your stomach and you can feel your climax approaching.
Heeseung feels it too and he intensifies his actions to help you get there. You pull his face into your cunt and he moans, the vibrations sending you to a frenzy so much that you start rambling, “Damn, you’re so good at this. Keep going, baby. I’m so close. You’re doing so good, you feel so fucking good, my god.”
With three fingers inside you and a final thrust, along with Heeseung sucking your clit, you let out a loud moan when you finally reach your climax.
Your legs start to weaken and for a moment, you’re worried that you might fall but he has you, keeping you steady with his hands on your waist and thigh. He keeps on eating you out as you ride the waves of your orgasm, lapping up all the juices coming out of you.
When you finally get back to your senses, you notice the whole room smells like sex now and you know you have to apologise to Jay later. It seems the smell has intoxicated both you and Heeseung. You see his eyes start getting hazy, no doubt his mind is a bit dizzy too.
You push him down on the bed and press your body against his. Gripping his cock with one hand, you say in his ear, “I was going to punish you for being a brat.”
He moans and bucks into your hand as you start stroking it quickly, “But you’ve been good and you did well. So I guess I’m letting you off this time.”
He whines your name in your ear as you speed up the pace and you continue, “Do you think you’ve been a good boy?”
Throwing his head back and letting out a loud moan, he nods and says, “ Yes.”
You chuckle at that, you know he hasn’t been very good. Recalling that phone call scene earlier, you continue to pump him while your other hand starts playing with his nipples. “Really? I don’t think so though? Remember that phone call scene earlier?”
He drags out a moan, he can’t focus when you’re being like this to him. Deciding to tease him for a bit just like how he teased you earlier, you start leaving bruises on his neck with your mouth — at least, you attempt to.
And albeit your attempt will forever be just an attempt, it’s still fun to see him squirm under you. His every reaction is delicious, every moan, every hiss, the look on his face when your fingers play with his tip, the look on his face when you pinch his nipples, ugh, you just love it.
Eventually, he tells you he’s close and you increase your intensity and pace. Right at the last moment right before he’s about to cum, you stop touching him completely, pulling your hands away from him.
He whines your name loudly at the loss of your touch and his orgasm. Staring at you with half-lidded eyes, his hands beside each side of his head, he breathes heavily as he contemplates what to do.
But before he could do anything, you’re already sitting up. “You got a condom?”
He nods and replies, “Yeah, at the desk.”
“Good, because if you don’t, I would’ve edge you 5 times before I let you cum,” you say as you get off of him and make your way towards his desk.
Hiding the upper part of his face with his arm, he bites his swollen lip and tries to calm himself down because if he doesn’t calm down, he’s going to cum real fast. Being a vampire doesn’t help, nor you edging him because now he’s the most sensitive he’s ever been.
Breathe in, breathe out, he tells himself.
“Here you go.” You toss him the condom.
You watch him put it on as you tell him, “By the way, I threw away the empty blood bags, I don’t know why you didn’t throw them in the trash.”
“Ah, yeah, I forgot about them,” he sheepishly replies.
“Clean up after yourself, that’s been there for at least a couple of days, no?”
He looks at you in confusion, but before he can comment on it further, you’re back on top of him. You ask him if he’s ready and he grabs your hips and replies, “Wait, no, I’m so sensitive, give me a minute, please.”
Of course, you don’t listen to him. Instead, you continuously grind your cunt into his dick and relish in the reactions and sounds that he makes. He grinds into you too, his body rocking into yours as he arches his back from the pleasure.
Fuck, he’s not even inside you yet but he can already feel his orgasm coming. He’s so close and his jerky movements and constant moaning are proof of that.
Meanwhile, you, you’re soaking wet again. You want his dick inside you yet you vowed to yourself that you won’t put his dick inside you unless he begs for it. So you keep grinding against him.
Suddenly, you feel his hands grab your hips, you hear him say your name in an exasperated tone. “Please, I’m so close, please.”
It’s so fun watching him like this, all wrecked and desperate, desperate to be inside you, desperate to cum. You can’t help but tease him again, he’s just so cute like this. He brings out the sadist in you.
You don’t stop until his orgasm comes close again. For the second time this evening, you stop him from cumming, lifting yourself off of him right before he was about to cum.
“Shit.”
It’s the first time you hear him swear. Despite swearing, the tone of his voice is still soft like usual. He even manages to make swear words sound soft. It makes you want to hear him swear again but you’ve already been cruel to him enough for the day. You stare at him in slight awe as you let him compose himself for a minute.
When he gets back to his senses, he starts groaning. His hand covers the front of his face again. Just by looking at him, you know that you’ve already broken him so much that he’s just begging non-stop now.
He’s a mess under you as he begs you desperately, “Please don’t do this to me, please, please don’t do this to me, please-”
“Shh… okay, okay, I got you.”
“Please.”
You hum at him as you insert his dick inside you. Moaning at the feeling of him filling you up, you start moving. Your movements are rushed since you don’t want to torture him any longer. Heeseung doesn’t stop begging you, he just gets louder as time goes on, moaning in between pleas every time you thrust into him.
He doesn’t even have the energy to thrust into you anymore so you adjust yourself a bit so that he could hit your g-spot. A couple of thrusts later and the familiar feeling comes to you again, the knot in your stomach — you’re close.
“You’re close?” you ask him.
He nods his head in response, begging you to let him cum and to not edge him again. You kiss him and that shuts him up — well not really because he doesn’t stop moaning, but he does stop speaking.
As your tongue swirls with his, you pinch his nipples one last time and that’s enough to send him on the edge. He arches his back into you and gasps as he finally gets his release. You keep going, helping him ride the waves of his orgasm and soon, you’re cumming too.
Slowing down your movements, you eventually lay on top of him, panting in his ear. Heeseung’s arms wrap around you, he’s panting too and still has a dazed just-been-fucked look on his face.
Closing his eyes and throwing his head back, he says to you in a soft voice, “Thank you.”
It’s obvious that he’s spent and you’re glad you both had a good time. You run your hand through his hair and give him tons of praises, “No, no, thank you for being so good to me. You did so well, such a good boy for me, thank you so much. I’m sorry if I went too far.”
He laughs at that, the laugh you usually hear coming from him — rich and cheerful, like it could light up the whole world. You’ve heard it before, it’s hard to miss it since his laugh is melodic and catches your attention all the time… but you’ve never made him laugh, this is the first time.
Feeling a bit of warmth inside you, you smile at him as he whispers, “It was fun… I enjoyed it.”
Can we do it again later? It doesn’t have to be just this one time. He wants to say that to you but he’s scared that you’ll reject him, scared that he’ll blow his chances. So instead, he bites his lip and keeps his mouth shut.
Suddenly, you remember the deal you two had. “Oh yeah, you can have some of my blood now I guess.”
His laidback teasing personality begins to make its comeback as he smirks at you and says in a teasing tone, “Oh? But I’m full though.”
Looking at him in confusion, you reply, “But weren’t you desperate for some blood earlier? When was the last time you feed?”
“just a few minutes ago, when I got in my room.”
You look at him confusedly, as if looking at him would answer all the questions in your head and would explain everything that you’re not understanding. Sensing your confusion, he continues, “Jay got me some blood packets and I drank them before I let you in.”
Oh. “But the deal?”
Perking up at you, he can’t help his genuine smile when he tells you, “Next time then. I’ll call you when I’m hungry.”
Chuckling at that, you agree with him. After all, he did give you a good time. Plus, you’re not the kind of person to break off a deal when you’ve already had your fill.
You move to get off him but he won’t let you, wrapping his arms around you tighter and whining in your neck. “Stay with me… unless you got somewhere to be?”
“It’s getting dark.”
“I’ll walk you home.” A moment of silence passes by and he continues, “Please?”
How can you say no to this man? Especially when he’s giving you such a pleading look with his cute doe eyes. You nod at him and let him pull you back into him. Despite his built body, he feels really soft — just like his personality, and you relax into him as time goes by, enjoying the moment you have left with him before Jay comes back.

CHAPTER ONE
Encounter
The night shift at the café unfolded as it usually did, with the establishment half empty and permeated by a bone-chilling cold that seemed to numb rather than induce shivers. The café, delineated not by walls but by expansive windows, offered a view of the dark city outside. Seoul sprawled with its sprawling advertisements, myriad streetlights, bustling shops, and an ever-present stream of vehicles. Yet, within the glass confines of the café, tranquility reigned.
Scattered individuals and couples occupied the sparsely populated tables, and occasional sounds of cups and plates clinking punctuated the silence. I, Sora, as per my responsibility to keep things running until the next shift arrived, kept a vigilant eye on the patrons. My six-hour shift, from 3 to 9, often took a toll on me, but the money was a necessity. As I momentarily vacated my spot behind the counter and navigated among the tables, I deftly collected abandoned plates and cups. My practiced skill allowed me to stack them on my arm while I wiped down the tables with a dingy rag. Customers greeted me with nods and brief hellos, which I reciprocated with polite smiles.
My job wasn't disagreeable, but it was far from what I yearned to be doing. I longed to huddle in a corner of my room, crafting stories that might ultimately find their home at the bottom of a trash can. My mind often wandered, conjuring ‘what ifs’ and characters known only to my imagination. Yet, my sense of responsibility tugged at my heart. My stories and the specters of my characters could wait; my grandmother's well-being could not.
As I added another empty coffee mug to my already burdened left arm, a slight tug on my apron drew my attention. Glancing to my left, I encountered a woman with wavy blond locks who smiled at me with an air of self-assurance. “Yes?” I inquired.
“When does this café close?” the woman asked.
“At 3 am,” I replied.
“It must be hard to keep working until that late, hmm…” The woman craned her neck to get a better look at my name tag. “Sora... what a pretty name.”
Feeling uneasy, I nodded. “Thank you. My shift is actually about to end. But thanks for the concern. I hope you're enjoying the cake.” I noticed the untouched Triple Choco De Grande on the woman's plate.
The woman glanced at the cake and smiled again, setting me further on edge. “Yeah, I heard it's one of this café's famous pastries.”
I was uncertain how to respond, and an uneasy silence fell over us. The woman, sitting elegantly with a black jean jacket and black shades, seemed to unnerve me. Perhaps it was the absence of eye contact. “Yeah... well, I have to continue. Bye.” I resumed my tasks but was called back by the woman.
“Yes?” I inquired once more.
“I just wanted to warn you about the man who's been standing outside the café for a while.”
My breath hitched, and I quickly peered outside at the crosswalk, streetlamp, and bustling pedestrians. Among the lively crowd, however, no one seemed out of the ordinary. I looked back down at the woman, but to my astonishment, she had vanished. I wondered if I should ask the other customers if they had witnessed my conversation with the mysterious woman, but the fear of sounding irrational held me back. I needed this job.
After taking a few deep breaths, I dismissed the encounter as my imagination running wild. “It's been a while,” I murmured to myself. With that, I returned to the counter and ventured into the back kitchen. One by one, I deposited the dirty dishes into the sink, but the overpowering odor of the overflowing trash commanded my immediate attention.
Removing the trash bag from the can, I tied it securely and headed for the café's back door. As my hand reached for the door handle, I hesitated, reminded of the woman's warning. Several seconds passed as I grappled with my fear before regaining my composure. It'll be quick. I didn't see anything anyway.
I turned the doorknob and pushed the door outward, darting through the narrowing gap with the bag in tow. Behind the café stretched a dimly lit alleyway shared with a neighboring boutique named 'Stellas'. At the far end, facing a small park, stood a large dumpster. Although I saw nothing suspicious, my imagination played tricks on my emotions. I hastened to the dumpster and, with furtive glances around, disposed of the trash bag.
With the task completed, I hurried back toward the café's back door, ears attuned to any approaching sounds. I felt a bit silly, but my fear outweighed any embarrassment I might experience later. As I neared the door, I reached out to grasp the handle. Instead of the cold metal meeting my fingertips, searing pain shot through my back as I was forcibly pressed against the brick wall.
Instinctively, I balled my fists and attempted to push away my assailant, who had pinned me with unrelenting force. My efforts were met with sharp, escalating pain in my shoulders. Yet, I continued to struggle, my fists delivering futile punches.
“Open your eyes,” a voice demanded.
With a lingering sense of fear, I gradually obeyed, my gaze locking with that of a man standing before me. He appeared to be only slightly taller than me, his eyes as dark as onyx and partially concealed by light brown bangs. His thin lips formed a fierce scowl.
“Where's the dagger?” he demanded again.
I could do little more than stare, my panic intensifying as my attacker's patience wore thin. His grip on my shoulders grew excruciating.
“Answer me,” he insisted.
“I... I... agh!” I winced, my voice trembling as I struggled to form words. His fingers bore into my shoulders, causing me to yelp in pain. “I don't know!” I blurted out.
“Don't lie.”
Desperation surged within me as I futilely attempted to pry his hands from me. The pain had become unbearable, and I cried out between my pleas.
“I'm not! Please, I don't know what you're talking about!” I pleaded.
From the shadows behind him, a calm and soothing voice reached our ears. “Jisung, let her go.”
Jisung, his focus solely on me, responded with a stern refusal. “No, we found her, and now we get what we want.”
“Not like this; we're scaring her and potentially driving the dagger away.” An eerie silence passed between the two strangers, and Jisung's grip on me remained unrelenting. Eventually, he grudgingly released me and retreated into the shadows, never allowing me to leave his line of sight. He vanished into the darkness, leaving me staring into the void in shock. Without hesitation, I rushed back inside the café, securing the door behind me. I found a safe corner in the kitchen, far from the back door, and collapsed, my legs drawn to my chest as I hugged them tightly. Overwhelmed by emotions, I sobbed quietly, that wasn’t fake, it can't be.

Taehyun heard the lock on the door creek open at about two a.m. Beomgyu was home from his meeting with Hyunjin. He sprung out of bed to greet him, but he was met with an expressionless, emotionless human. On contact, he started to worry.
"How did it go?" Taehyun asked softly, careful not to provoke any negative reactions.
"Fine. He wants me to present a proposal with him or whatever."
His head hung low in his chest. Something was bothering him, something else. Taehyun knew that.
"Nothing tried to hurt you on the way back, right?"
"No." Said Beomgyu.
But he's lied about that before. There was nothing stopping him from lying about it again.
He silently made his way to Taehyun's room and he followed. He wasn't used to seeing Kai's bed so empty. Even so, Beomgyu didn't take advantage of that. He sat on Taehyun's bed.
"It was a vampire-demon hybrid that killed Kai," He started, "What's worse is that he didn't even remember it. It was instinctual."
"How is that worse?"
"Because I can't be mad at him. I just feel bad. The kid broke down crying and apologizing. For something he doesn't even remember doing."
"I see." Taehyun tried to understand.
"I feel worse for Hyunjin. He's stuck having to fix it all."
Beomgyu looked up at Kai's lone bed. He looked at the plushies that encompassed most of it.
"Why did it have to be him," He cried, "He was innocent. He was so fucking innocent."
That last word was muffled in Taehyun's chest. He cradled the floppy haired man. He questioned how Beomgyu, someone who's only known Kai for a few weeks, could feel so deeply about his passing. That was the thing about Kai, if they knew him, they loved him. His innocence and purity was so rare that people remembered him.
Taehyun also noted how empathetic Beomgyu was. How his anger dissolved after seeing the other side. How he pitied the monsters who killed their friend. His brain was wired in a way that thinks about everything. It seemed exhausting even from the outside looking in.
"Do you wanna sleep with me again tonight?"
Beomgyu shook his head, still buried in Taehyun. He didn't believe him until he said, "I don't wanna wake up and see his empty bed."
"It's empty, Beomgyu. That's how it is now." Taehyun was blunt because he knew sugar coating would only make Beomgyu feel worse.
"How are you so cool about this?" Beomgyu asked as he lifted his head up and wiped his tears.
"Because I have to be. Even though it hurts like hell, I can't let it show."
But Taehyun knew he could let that show if he wanted to. Yeonjun and Soobin weren't going to judge him for showing a little bit of weakness. Beomgyu wouldn't dare to either. He couldn't trust himself to be strong enough to show weakness.
Beomgyu slid into the sheets, moving closest to the wall so Taehyun wouldn't have to crawl over him to get to his workout. Taehyun reached over and pet his head.
"One day you'll get tired of being cool."
"I won't." He told himself more than Beomgyu.
"You will, and I'll be here for you when you do," He said, "I'll hold you and pet you. I'll be right here."
Taehyun huffed under his breath in disbelief. He saw himself as strong and cold. He took life as it came. Beomgyu didn't know him long enough to make an inference like that.
"Taehyun, do you think Kai would forgive someone who didn't mean to kill him?"
He huffed at that too. Until he looked at the little black eyes in the plushies on Kai's bed. Those eyes looked soulless to him but they meant everything to Kai. Then his heart started to ache. And the tears started to fall.
"He would." Taehyun whispered, letting out a shaky breath and falling into Beomgyu's chest.
As Beomgyu said, he was there. He held him safely in his arms as he sobbed. He kept him steady as his cries hiccuped throughout his small body. The tears soaked through his shirt, but he didn't care. He was there for him like he promised.
The next morning, as usual, Taehyun was up early for his workout. He ran down the stairwell of the apartment building as a warmup and down the street to the local gym. He had his earbuds in, blasting his fifteen-hour playlist on shuffle.
Going in to the gym, he went straight to the treadmill. He started off with a walk that gradually grew into a jog. He paced himself well and breathed accordingly.
He felt a presence on the treadmill next to him and glanced over a bit without breaking his focus too much. He faintly heard a few words spoken outside of his music, so he took out the earbud closest to the other.
"Oh sweet, I didn't know you gym here, bro. We could've been gym buddies."
When he looked over again, he saw who it was. Chan was his classmate last semester in music theory. In school, he dressed modestly, but at the gym he showed off a lot more skin. It made Taehyun question why he was grinding at the gym to begin with. He's ripped.
"I guess." He muttered, beginning to put his earbud back in.
"Hey, you like parties?"
"Sure?" He wasn't in the mood to talk.
"I'm throwing a new year's party, you should come, bring a friend."
"What about curfew?"
"Eh, that's only for public places. Can't put a curfew on my house, bro."
Just then, Taehyun noticed the speed on Chan's treadmill. He was pushing twenty miles an hour, about twelve more miles than Taehyun. He was insanely fast while still being able to hold a casual conversation. He wasn't even breaking a sweat. Can a treadmill even run that fast?
"Right. Well," Taehyun panted, "Just text me the address or whatever."
Completely unfocused, he stopped the machine and hopped off. Suddenly, he didn't feel like finishing his workout.
Instead he went for a walk, earbuds in and strolling along the city streets. Until he spotted a familiar silhouette across the street. He was the only one wearing all black, so it could be one person; Hyunjin.
He watched him slip into the library that Beomgyu worked at. He quickly jogged across the mildly empty street and followed him in discreetly, pulling the collar of his jacket over his mouth and keeping his head low. He watched Hyunjin from the corner of his eye.
He watched his careful and curated walk as he strutted the same aisle he and Beomgyu scaled the night before. It seemed like he was trying to find the empty space in which the book they grabbed was. Then Hyunjin's pale hand reached into his jacket and pulled out the small book. He snuck it back into the slot without any bookkeepers noticing.
The only one who noticed was Taehyun. That's probably why Hyunjin looked over his shoulder and made direct, daring eye contact with him. Taehyun shivered. The vampire slowly made his way to the man and Taehyun removed an earbud in case he decided to speak.
"Can we talk?"
He only nodded.
Hyunjin gestured toward the door and Taehyun walked after him.
"I'm sure you're wondering what I want. Or why I'd want to talk to you," Hyunjin clearly read his mind, "Especially after I shut you out last night."
"Yeah..."
"Firstly, I want to apologize. There's a lot going on with my family right now and we're trying to minimize the amount of people who know our situation. I was cold to you in favor of Beomgyu and I'm sorry." His voice was calm and mature. It was obvious that he was centuries older than Taehyun and his friends.
"It's okay, I get it."
"Secondly, I wanted to ask if Beomgyu was okay. I was too wrapped up in all this drama that I forgot to make sure Beomgyu got home safely so late at night."
"He's fine."
"Thirdly, are you okay," He asked sincerely, "Surely things have been hard since the loss of your friend."
Don't you mean the murder that happened to be strictly instinctual?
"So you're aware that it was instinctual as I am aware that it was a murder," He answered in a full mumble, "Excuse me for trying to censor those trigger words in public. I'm not exactly safe to be out right now."
"Look, I accept your apology and thanks for checking on Beomgyu but I don't see why you'd need to ask how I'm doing. We aren't friends and we aren't going to be."
"Beomgyu trusts you and you care a lot about him, right," Taehyun nodded, "Then you should know that a vampire is planning to kill him."
"What?" His heart sank.
"He's obsessive, jealous... He's just trying to make certain that I'll never see him again," He said, "I'll do my best to prevent it, but you see him more than I do."
Taehyun took in a sharp breath. He couldn't believe what was being said to him. First it was Kai, then Beomgyu was being threatened too. There was nothing he could do to save Kai. He was afraid that there was nothing he could do to save Beomgyu either.
"I- I can't fight a vampire. I'm only a man," Taehyun panicked, "Why can't you just kill him first."
Hyunjin sighed, cocking an eyebrow at the seemingly simple solution.
"That would only complicate things."
"So we have no choice but to sit and wait for him to pounce? I'm not doing that."
"Fine. I'll try to spend as much time with him as I can. That way I can keep my eye on him and away from Beomgyu. You do the same, make sure he doesn't go anywhere alone."
Hyunjin opened the door to a breakfast shop they were passing. He silently told Taehyun to come in as well. He glanced over the menu aimlessly.
"What does Beomgyu like?"
"Oh, um, a breakfast sandwich would be good for him. Proteins, carbs."
Hyunjin approached the counter.
"One breakfast sandwich, please," He said before looking over at Taehyun, "And a breakfast burrito, extra meat."
"Is that all?" The cashier asked, leading Hyunjin to nod.
He swiped his card effortlessly, But Taehyun was still in shock. He looked up at Hyunjin's lifelessly pale face, imagined how cold his skin was. And he questioned how someone so cold could have such a warm heart.
He cared about Beomgyu, maybe even a little more than Taehyun. He cared for his family, protecting their privacy. And, surprisingly, he cared for Taehyun.
People cared about Taehyun like his roommates, Soobin, Yeonjun, Kai, and Beomgyu. But with Taehyun's persona being so isolated and withdrawn, it was hard for them to show it. There was a wall that made it even harder for him to feel it.
There was something in the way Hyunjin so easily penetrated through that wall without breaking the person behind it. Sure, it was with the help of his vampiric powers, but Taehyun didn't care. Hyunjin saw him in a way that no one else could.
Before they knew it, their order was ready. Hyunjin retrieved it and handed it off to Taehyun.
"Take this home to him, okay? Make sure he eats well."
"Thank you."
Hyunjin gave him a gentle smile before bidding him goodbye and leaving the shop. Taehyun wanted to say more, but he couldn't. There were no words left.
He was happy to see Beomgyu sleeping in comfortably in his bed. He didn't care that he pitched in a good amount of money for that pull out couch in the living room, Beomgyu looked better there.
"Beomgyu," Taehyun said softly, sitting on the bed, "Wake up."
"Hm?" He hummed as he slowly opened his groggy eyes.
"Got you breakfast."
A kind, full smile graced his face, filling Taehyun's stomach with butterflies.
"You didn't have to do that. There's stuff here."
"I know," Taehyun chuckled, "I got something too, so it's okay. We can eat together."
He sat up in bed to match Taehyun. Once he was stable, Taehyun pulled him in for a hug. He nuzzled his nose in his bed head, taking in the comforting woody scent. He held him so tightly, almost trembling.
He wondered what he would say if he knew Hyunjin bought that breakfast for him. Taehyun was completely unaware of Hyunjin's presence in Beomgyu's life. All he knew was that they're close enough to make another jealous.
However, Taehyun wasn't jealous. He only saw the ways that Beomgyu and Hyunjin were more compatible. They were both empathetic and expressive, a lot more than him.
"Thank you, Tae."
But he should be thanking Hyunjin, not me.
And with that, Taehyun became afraid of two things: losing Beomgyu to an early, painful death and losing Beomgyu to Hyunjin.
