The bond between Chaeri and her bodyguard, known for his reliability and reserved demeanor, had always been a cornerstone of her world. But everything changed when the foundation of that trust cracked, revealing the dark depths of betrayal that lay beneath.

In a private corner of the practice room, away from the watchful eyes of their public lives, Chaeri and Jungkook found solace in each other's company. Their forbidden relationship was a sanctuary from the demanding world of K-pop, a place where they could be themselves without the constraints of fame. Their stolen moments were like fragile glass, beautiful yet delicate, offering a glimpse of something untouchable.

However, their sanctuary was shattered by an unexpected intrusion – her own bodyguard, his gaze piercing through their world like a blade.

She was not worried. Not immediately.

She was sure that the bodyguard was going to maintain confidentiality about what he had discovered, such was her trust in him

Then there was the call from the managers, the threats to disband the group if such a scandal leaked.

It was bone-chilling for her to hear her manager's mouth speak about what her bodyguard, her friend, her protector, had required in order to keep that information secret. An ultimatum that tore away the mask of trust she had so readily placed upon him. Money or scandal – a choice that weighed heavy with implications. This was not the guardian she thought she knew. The steadfast protector had become a puppet master, pulling the strings of their lives for his gain.

Subsequently, a profound clarity dawned, as if the disparate fragments suddenly locked into place like a completed jigsaw. Her confidential information that took center stage in the headlines, the paparazzi, uncannily aware of her every move and location, turned out to be pawns in his game. Singularly, it was him – no one else. He had consistently traded her for monetary gain.

"If I really wanted to hurt you, I wouldn't have settled with the company" he told her when she confronted him, his cheek a fiery red after receiving a resounding slap from the girl, "I would have sold the information and made a lot more money from it"

After that, her anger knew no bounds, and it took someone else's intervention to prevent her from inflicting further harm. As the dust settled on this painful chapter, Chaeri was left to grapple with the aftermath of a shattered trust, her once-solid world now a landscape of fractured emotions and bitter revelations.

Raised into a wealthy and “privileged” family, Kang Saetbyeol — mostly known by the English given name, Kendra Kang — has always been interested in music, since young age, her big influence she claimed to be her own father, Kang Yicheol, who was since the early 2000 years an active artist in the industry, before retiring to focus on managing his empire, DASK. Though she loved music, she wanted to try something different, for this reason she decided to audition as a model — with her mother’s surname Joo— in many companies, the only company who accepted her was YG Entertainment, which Kendra signed a contract in 2008 at the age. She started as a joke, but she eventually got really immersed up into modeling. Her journey to become “super model” was hard, she loved getting the attention she couldn’t deny, but she also felt like she was pressed by her company, constantly wanting her to be on perfect shape, always practicing her walk. Kendra’s schedules where already ethic at such a young age that she don’t have the time to spend time by herself or her family.

Kendra told her father about the situation, who was firmly supported her, he told her that the best way was to leave the agency, as a CEO himself, but also as her dad, she couldn’t see her daughter so tired of… life. Because Kendra was diagnosed with depression, she was also not in a good relationship with food which brought her into anoressia, this slowly ruined her mental state. Saetbyeol Kang was sick, the best choice was to leave the agency, take some time off and maybe starting off something new. In late 2013, she asked for her contract’s cancelation but it got rejected, instead she was obligated to make her acting debut, since according to the company she was gaining attention due her facial features.

In 2014 decided to give the company the ultimatum, she wanted her 7-year contract to end, she was sick of waiting, she was determined into getting a lawsuit, but with surprise her contract was announced to be ended by her boss, she would later found out that her father and Yang Hyunsuk had a talk which he apparently talked about her daughter under the company. Kendra was angry with her dad, but she will later understand that he did it for her own good. That was she wanted the most.

Kendra was finally free, she had the time to rest, to heal her mind and especially body, but she also thought at what doing next, she wasn’t going to stop her career, she wanted to continue, but that needed time. Only in 2015 it was announced that her and her brother Kang Seungyoon founded a company: SEVEN SINS LABS, which Kendra would later debut under as the first artist.

#BACKGROUND

Izabella was born in Auckland, New Zealand, on december 23, 1998 to a korean family, having two older sisters, one of them being Rosé from the popular kpop girl group Blackpink. At the age of five years old Izabella and her family moved to Melbourne, Australia; there, she started taking different classes since early age: jiu jitsu (even participating in national competitions), aerial and contemporary dance, she learned how to play the drums, the piano and the guitar, and even joined the church choir along with her sister Rosé.

In 2011, at age of 13 and influenced by her dad’s words, she attended an audition in Sydney, Australia for South Korean record label SM Entertainment, ranking at the top three among 1000 participants, and just some months after that, her sister Rosé signed with YG. They both dropped out of school and moved to South Korea with their mom.

At first, she was happy with being signed only as an actress and having small roles to start with her career, but then she realized that acting wasn’t her passion, and after two years, she parted with SM on good terms.

Some months after that, she got scouted by an agent of Starship Entertainment. Izabella even trained with the (now) monsta x members and even got contemplated to join the survival show “no mercy,” but she didn’t end up joining. In the winter of 2015, Izabella opens a soundcloud account and starts releasing her own songs under the stage name of “cherry,” her popularity starting to grow, even getting considered as one of the best underground rappers back then. In 2016, she decides on parting with Starship too on good terms.

Trying to not give up even after the circumstances and after seeing her older sister’s success, she joins “unpretty rapstar” in 2016 under the stage name of ‘cherry’, making it into the finals and ranking at 3rd place. Izabella gained a lot of popularity due this survival, even getting calls from companies that were interested on signing her. It’s in october 2016 that an agent from KQ Entertainment reaches out to her, and after convincing her on giving the company a chance, she officially becomes a trainee at the beginnings of november 2016.

A year later, she joins another survival show: “show me the money,” being part of zico’s and dean’s team, making it into the finals and finishing on 3rd place.

On october 24, 2018, Izabella made her official debut with Ateez.
