everyone else: WHAT!!!!!!

Ashlyn: so, your telling me you drink COLD tea!?

Ricky: well, yeah.

Jet: Bro, WHAT.

Ricky: I thought people were just, you know impatient.

Ricky: on the water turning in to tea process.

Carlos: Richard, it takes like 2 minutes to boil water in the microwave. Seb even knows this.

Maddox: I'm sorry, is your microwave the fucking sun or something.

Carlos: what no, I'm just too impatient to wait for it to boil over the stove

Gina: what, do you mean Carlos, it doesn't take too long for it to boil over a stove.

Carlos: WHAT! do YOU mean. "It doesn't take too long." It takes like fucking 10 minutes.

EJ: what?

EJ: how can you Be that Impatient?

-Everyone starts to argue over which one Is better for boiling water-

kourtney: ok, maybe it takes a little longer, but it tastes better when it's boiled over the stove.

Big red: what do you mean they taste different.

Jet: there is a difference bro.

Big red: WHAT!!!!

Seb: wait, tea taste different if you boil it differently??

Big red: seeeeee.

Big red: your just saying that because kourtney is your girlfriend.

Maddox: I mean....

Big red: NO!!!!!! there's NO difference it just taste like TEA it fucking taste like tea!

Maddox: You didn't even know what I was going to say!

What are your theories on the flashback that's going to happen? We saw what looked like a S1 Kourtney outfit in the teaser, so the flashback might include more than just Ricky and Gina...

oooo okay I have sooo many thoughts about this and a couple theories (some cornier than others)

the rina of it all: I’ve talked with a couple of friends about the flashback outfit, at least for ricky, being along the lines of a “can I have this dance” montage. the show has a couple examples of people singing songs in different outfits and I believe that seblos’s song from s2 (in a heartbeat) is them in different suits from their first dance at homecoming. they could be doing something similar with rina, showing different moments from their story, maybe of when they wanted to dance together, to the tune of “can I have this dance” it doesn’t explain kourtney but I really like this theory

another thought I had was that there is going to be a “what if?” episode where things change because of possible scenarios like ricky not auditioning for the musical or gina not leaving around thanksgiving. with this storyline, I’d love to see ricky and gina still connecting, even if not over the show

the outfit ricky is wearing is from 106 so it could be cute to see rina rehearsing “truth, justice, and songs in our key” and dancing together in big red’s basement. idk where the kourt flashback would fit in here though

those are most of my thoughts about the potential for a flashback but I’d love to hear if other people have other theories or thoughts! thanks for the ask 🤍

one of my favorite subtle background (kinda) moments in hsmtmts is in s4e4 Jet is trying to compliment Kourtney's outfit and he's like "is that... fabric?" And at 14:22, you can see Maddox giving a barely visible unimpressed thumbs-up.

Ok so I am barely on Tumblr but I was reading through the hsmtmts tag and it just seemed so negative! I mean maybe it’s an unpopular opinion but I really liked this season! I mean I don’t ship characters on this show so maybe that’s why i’m not so passionate about either portwell or rina but honestly I think this season was a lot of fun! Sure I missed Seb and Big Red but the new characters were really good! The girls bonding was just so sweet! I love female friendships like this! Ricky’s birthday bucket list was such a fun plot line and Nini getting him the ticket was such a sweet closure to their story! Maddox and Jet finally getting to the point where they can laugh at each other “admitting” their crushes was such a great growth for their relationship! Big Red coming out was so out of pocket but so on brand that I literally squealed! Ej and Val’s friendship was perfect! The real housewives episode was the best tv episode i’ve seen in awhile! Everyones Frozen costumes were beautiful! Ej and Ricky’s enemies to friends to brothers arc was so great and I can’t wait to see where that leads! And sure they could have definitely handled the whole Ej situation better and hopefully they will handle it! Sure it was a little rushed but it was also such a fun season, the music was incredible as always, the jokes were hilarious, and I think so we’re most of the serious moments! Idk maybe i’m reading into it to much but I actually really liked this season and can’t wait for season four!

How does the wildcats gets the approval of JJ? Especially ashlyn and kourtney, being them the significant others of the siblings.

So the fun part is, they kind of don't?

I mean they do eventually, JJ let's them near, but it's nothing they can really affect.

JJ only really cares about Maddie and how she's feeling, and Jet to a smaller extent. He watches how she reacts to them showing up and goes from there.

Ex.

Ricky - both siblings like Ricky, and he doesn't make them uncomfortable or nervous, so JJ likes him immediately.

Carlos: Jet is indifferent and Maddox gets mildly annoyed, so JJ is also mildly defensive.

Dewey: Jet doesn't know him, but Maddie loves him, but she also really respects him and cares what he thinks of her, so she's a little nervous, JJ likes him, but he needs to stay a little over there.

Ect ect ect

As for Kourt and Ash, well..... they make JJs babies real nervous, like visible discomfort nervous, and strange fumbling nervous, so he's not exactly thrilled with them for a long while.

If his babies initiate contact, it's fine, but otherwise....he's gonna growl a little. Eventually he gets used to them and their fine.

This works out fine with Jet and Kourtney, once they actually started going out.

Poor Ash took a minute, Maddie isn't exactly much of a driving force in relationships, and JJs watching her more. Don't worry, she gets there.

Hello, we all know at this point the show always parallels whichever play they are putting on. I hope I am not the only who caught it.

Jet= Elsa (Clearly more guarded,Closed off, I'm assuming he has a past with the theater ,but clearly something happend that causes him to clearly isolate himself *playing videogames instead of performing any camp activity)
