we shall now proceed.
CHAPTER NEW!
today was a luxurious evening in chattanooga, after their former president eugene krabs decided to invest in renne rapp statues across the city.
bella and molly bought tickets to the maldives for their honeymoon!!!
of course this is big news for the kourie couple. they decided to fly solo, meaning jordan henry would have to sneak her way in…
“HELLOW MOTHAFOKAS” -JORDAN HENRY
bella was helping molly pack for their trip since she can’t pack a bag properly. “hey there jordy”
bella was stressed. they had to leave in 10 minutes to get to the airport.
“i’ll be right back i think frida is burning the prosciutto-wrapped pork tenderloin with crispy sage.” and with that bella and molly left.. leaving jordy alone with the bags
she hops in mollys capacious bag. of course not forgetting to have her wine and camera to vlog her maldives trip.
the gals eventually come to gather their bags
but the kourie couple is in a rush to get out the door! bella elegantly puts her doc martens on because they’re too good to ruin (true)
then bella grabs the bags like the true lady she is “what did you pack in this thing? probably all snacks biggie”
“GO GO GO” bella and molly are sprinting out the door to their VERY expensive lambo
but jordy is not impressed with the violent running, causing her to spill her red wine all over mollys stuff!
they zoom out of the driveway headed the to airport! 💋
“STOP THE CAR STOP THE CAR ETHEL CAIN POSTED ON TUMBLR STOP THE CAR” -bella obviously
molly slams on the breaks and the bags go flying in the trunk! JORDAN HENRY nearly got whiplash!
“okay i liked favourited reblogged shared copylinked screenshotted we’re good to go.”
they make it to the airport and hop on their flight and whatever else then they land in the maldives!
they finally arrive to their resort hotel house whatever (it’s romantic)
they set down their bags and molly takes a look around the gorg room “perf, Love it”
“molly should we go out for dinner?”
“Ok”
they leave the room leaving the bags alone..
once jordy knows the coast in clear she hops out of that bag! so jolly to have some fresh air
she takes a peek around the luxurious place until she hears a little someone…
she turns around and sees ADDY! she also snuck in the suitcases
“ADDY MY GAL” jordy pulls out her vlog camera ready for some action.
“HELLOW MOTHAFOKA!”
the two sneaky cheeky girls decide to relax in the kourie couples room at this luxurious hotel
AT RESTAURANT
“follow me. to table.” -some employee tbh idk tbh
bella and molly follow them to their table. at the luxurious restaurant in the maldives.
“what to eat?”
“ummmmm?? we don’t have a menu” -BELLA
“be back”
and with that the waiter leaves..
“so bella.. how are you” -molly
“Ok”
the gals have a little chat or two. UNTIL…
THE MENU GETS NUCLEAR LAUNCHED FLYING TOWARDS MOLLY!
luckily bella has an arthur morgan reaction time and saves the day.
“what to eat?”
“chicken alfredo for me.” -BELLA KOURIE
“i’ll take the.. chicken and Waffles southern style fried chicken, grilled corn and scallion relish, compressed watermelon, bourbon hot honey, Irish Cream Drunken Pancake, mascarpone and ricotta, local whiskey apple chutney, Peanut Butter Stuffed French Toast, brioche stuffed with peanut mousse, white chocolate sauce, fresh berries, peanut brittle, roasted turkey, lettuce, tomato, bacon, cranberry aioli, toasted sourdough, pretzel bun, two smash burgers, gochujang sauce, melted cheddar, Baked Lobster Mac and Cheese, sweet peas, shells, goat cheese four cheese sauce, herb parmesan”
“excuse me?” -maldives waitress
“chop chop tick tock” -the one who ordered allat
“bella i would really like to get to know you.”
“wtf um wtf shut up?”
some time or something later, the waiter comes back with bella’s food.
she was about to dig in. UNTIL..
“belly can you wait for my food to arrive..”
couple bit little bit later
“hier zijn je voedsel-biggis”
suddenly 14 plates get swung at molly like a frisbee!
“wat wil je drinken?”
bella was too busy going ham on the chicken alfredo, and molly was fighting back the plates as they swung towards her like never before!!
“WAT WIL JE DRINKEN!!”
“WATER WATER 🆘🆘” -BELLA KOURIE
the waitress leaves and comes back some time later, without water.
bella and molly are still taking their time on their gourmet dishes, but they’re quite parched.
“tot ziens” and suddenly the waitress throws 2 takeout boxes at them and then leaves..
“wtf um wtf” molly is absolutely LIVID, it is clearly the kourie couples honeymoon, meaning they should get divine treatment. BY LAW.
all ofa sudden molly whips out a big ol bell
the shakes that thang (the bell)
every employee of the restaurant shifts into a single file line infront of them..
“HAPPY HAPPY HONEYMOON FROM EAST SIDES TO YEW! HAPPY HAPPY HONEYMOON FROM EAST SIDES TO YEW!”
bella has shell shock becuz wtfreak jus happen🤔
THEN THEY GO BACK TO THE HOTEL 👍👍
while molly and bella are checking back in the hotel, JORDAN HENRY and addybaby are just being cuties.
“should we order room service” -hawtie addy🤤
“FETCH ME A CAESAR SALAD”-JORDAN HENRY
jordy and addy are cuddled snuggled up in bella & mollys hotel room.. while addy calls up some room service jordy is sipping on her wine while rewatching the superbowl for ice spice
sum time sum later later time some later some time later (hi for bad english)
then they hear knocking, prolly the room servi🤤
molly is banging on the door becuz ya!
addy approaches the door, JORDAN HENRY following close behind with her wine and vlog camera.
addy opens the door expecting her food..
“wair whar” -JORDAN HENRY
all the 4 gals have shell shock.
vlog course to of jordy forget doesn’t all it
“oh hey jordy!” bella and jordan henry get in formation (by beyoncé) and do a triple trenta double decker roundhouse kick handshake
HEY GUYS

days gone cheats free M2ZJ+
💾 ►►► DOWNLOAD FILE 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 This cheat code is used to kill enemies with a crafted weapon. Morior Invictus. The best place to get cheats, codes, cheat codes, walkthrough, guide, FAQ, unlockables, trophies, and secrets for Days Gone for PlayStation 4 (PS4). Bike: Unlimited Nitrous. Our Days Gone trainer has over 35 cheats and supports Steam and Epic Games. Cheat in this game and more with the WeMod app! Try to conserve ammo for the human enemies and only use firepower on Freakers when you are surrounded and need to escape, otherwise dispatch them with melee. To view the secret ending, first complete the main story. After completing the final mission and watching the credits, you will return to the open world. Keep doing any of these activities. Meet him for a huge revelation. Search the indicated locations to find all 14 Ambush Camps with underground bunkers in them. Clear all of them to get the "Ambush Camp Hunter" trophy. This video guide shows all Ambush Camp locations and a walkthrough of the entire camps, including where to find the bunkers. Conquering a camp reveals more of the world map and displays Historical Markers on the map. Furthermore, you get Crafting Recipes including new Crossbow Bolts as a reward. None of these are missable. After completing the story, you can visit all regions in free-roam and complete any remaining side activities and collectibles. Note: There are two temporary points of no return. One is at the end of the third region "Lost Lake," and the other is at the end of fifth region "Crater Lake". This will lock you out of some regions until the end of the story. Search the indicated locations to find all 12 Nero Checkpoints. They contain Nero Injectors gives an upgrade to health, stamina, focus and become available as fast travel points. You must always find a fuel canister and use it on the power generator to open the doors sometimes you must also find a fuse -- just follow the clues from the fuse box. Search the indicated locations to find all 18 Nero Research Sites. At the research sites, you will find Nero Injectors that grant stat upgrade more health, stamina, focus. These are not required for any trophies and do not count toward your collectible progress, but they are very useful to get stronger. Search the indicated locations to find all 13 Infestations in the game. The Crier Nests are only found in the fifth and sixth regions. You can burn nests by shooting fuel canisters, throwing molotovs, or shooting incendiary bolts. The bolts are the the best option unlocked by conquering eight Ambush Camps. You can keep track of your progress under "Storylines" - "Progress" - "Infestation Exterminator". There are six Camp Guitarists in the game. They play a song for you that counts as a collectible towards "The Broken Roadshow" trophy. All of them are found in the third camp called Iron Mike's. It is the camp in "Lost Lake" region. They all spawn between 7pm — 10pm — in the gazebo to the left after entering the camp through the main entrance it is behind the bounties vendor. One spawns every evening. However, only a single one can spawn every evening. When the Guitarist is ready to begin, you can see a drummer in the gazebo. The drummer will then stop and let the guitarist play. The lights around the Gazebo will also light up to signal this. They cannot spawn at day or night, only in the evening. There are six of Colonel Garret's speeches in the game. They count as a collectible towards "The Broken Roadshow" trophy. They are all in the fifth encampment "Wizard Island" in the fifth region "Crater Lake". All of them come from story mission -- they are automatically unlocked and cannot be missed. Just play through the story and to automatically get these collectibles. The first one unlocks after the "I Know The Look" main mission. You then get a radio call from Kouri, and he will tell you that the Colonel gives an informal speech at dawn every day and tells you to attend. The other speeches become available as you progress in the story. There are ten Marauder Camp quests in the game needed for the "Marauder Camp Hunter" trophy and storyline. The first two come automatically from early story missions in the "Cascade" region. The other eight are all from Encampment Jobs side quests. Simply complete all of the Encampment Jobs to automatically get them. After the story, the side quest giver in the fifth camp "Wizard Island" will change, but it does not void any of these quests. There are more in the game, but for the trophy you only need Simply walk up to them and knock them over by pressing Square. None of them are missable. You can still find them after the story in free-roam. During the story, there are some temporary points of no return, but after the story the whole map opens up again and all areas can be revisited. This trophy requires the Nitrous 3 upgrade for your bike. The Nitrous 2 upgrade will not work because the boost only lasts 4. The Nitrous 3 upgrade lasts for over 6 seconds. This requires you to first reach Trust Level 3 with this camp. Complete all story missions and encampment jobs there side quests , and then kill all hordes in the Highway 97 region. This is best done after the story because then the hordes automatically get marked on the map. Use the Chicago Chopper gun to quickly kill hordes bought at fifth camp "Wizard Island". Once you got the Nitrous 3 upgrade, you can get the trophy. You must drift in a large circle driving a donut with the front wheel locked in place does not count. You need to speed up just a little bit. This takes some practice and the tracking for this may be a bit off. It can take an hour of trial and error before getting the "Burnout Apocalypse" trophy. Make sure the front wheel stays locked as you do this. You cannot be driving in a circle for it, as only a "donut" counts -- so the front wheel must stay locked in place. It is best to do this at a fuel station so you can refill the tank. There is a fuel station and it is a safe area where no Freakers can reach you. Drive in a donut until fuel runs out, refill fuel, repeat. You can keep track of your time under "Storylines" - "Trophies" - "Farewell Drift". Breakers are huge muscular Freakers that like to bodyslam you. Reachers are the most agile Freakers, as they like to dodge and hide and have some fur on their backs do not confuse with Runners. Ragers are infected Bears that have more health than normal Bears and have a blade sticking out their back. You encounter all three of these enemy types in free-roam in the fifth region "Crater Lake" and in the sixth region "Highway 97". After the story, they will spawn in all other regions. It is the first time you visit the fourth region "Iron Butte". There you will fight a single Breaker unmissable. The great thing about this spot is that it shows you the health of the Breaker, while in free-roam it does not. Try to get the trophy during this opportunity. You can first weaken the enemy with other weapons. Only the final hit must be from the Boot Knife, which is the default knife you always carry with you. There are five types of crossbow bolts. The Crossbow is automatically unlocked from the beginning. You unlock all bolt types from story missions and ambush camps. The following is how all five bolt types are unlocked:. Days Gone. PS5 Backward Compatibility. Has Facebook Screwed the Pooch with Oculus? The Life and Death of Motion Controls. The Best Games of Top 7 Badass Comic Stars. Top 10 Good Games. Chapter 896: A Road in Kourijima
Chapter 896: A Road in Kourijima
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Near the beach is a long road that goes all the way around the island. There were many yachts parked along the side. A very quiet road, the sun was beaming brightly on such a beautiful day. One of the things that I really love about Okinawa is the tropical weather, blue skies and brilliant fresh air!

Kouri watches Midnight Mass for Halloween, episodes 1-2
If I had a gun with two bullets and was locked in a room with the monster haunting the island and Bev Keane, I’d shoot Bev Keane twice.

Tumblr media
"You're going to ask Iron Mike to give you the damn directions over the summit?" you eyed Deek curiously, a brow raised "This the same Iron Mike that specifically told you to fuck off and that he'd kill you if you ever showed your face at Lost Lake again?" Deacon sighed, rolling his eyes "I knew you'd say that exact sentence but baby, listen to me" Deacon stood in front of you, taking both your hands in larger ones.
Deacon looked at you with hope in his eyes "This is the best shot for us, getting away from all this will do us both some good" you hesitated, not yet wanting to agree with him having to go confront Mike himself to help you both over the pass.
"Fine.." you sighed, Deacon smiled softly, placing a kiss on your forehead "Just stay here, I'll be ba-" Deacon halted in his tracks as your hand wrapped around his wrist "I'll ask, probably have a better shot than you" you said, pulling Deacon back against his bike.
,Deacon sighed as he waited for you to come out from lodge, hopefully with Mike in tow, his eyes perked up at the sound of your laughter, he chuckled breathlessly as you walked out of the lodge with Mike right behind you, in a cheerful mood than earlier.
The mood was tense yet again as Mike approached Deacon, you almost felt the need to chew on your fingernails "This sweetheart has somehow convinced me to drive you both over the pass" Mike gestured to you, you smiled softly "If it gets you out of here, I'm all for it, don't get me wrong" his face was void of anything positive. "There's a way over the summit and unfortunately you are the only one who knows" Deacon grumbled, Mike nodded "Get ready then because when we leave, you ain't coming back" Mike's gaze hardened into Deacon's equally steely stare.
-
The drive up the pass was cold, the winds nipped at your exposed hands and cheeks, you and Deacon rode on your own bikes - not having the heart to leave it behind with Boozer "You okay?" Deacon's voice called through the walkie talkie, you flexed your hands on the handles "I- it's fucking cold.." Your voice shook as you replied "We're almost there, okay? It's only cold on the summit" you nodded, steeling your nerves.
-
Hope filled you as you finally made it to the top, Deacon came to a stop, you rose a brow, still shivering from the winds that randomly whipped through you "What's up?" You asked, seeing his head turned towards what was on the other side - your eyes widened. Scorched lands stretched as far as you could see, there was no tree in sight or patch of green grass "What the fuck..?" You muttered under your breath, Deacon continued on, making the way down seemed a whole lot easier than driving up.
-
You came through a small gorge, you could hear screams and shouts ahead, a cabin came into view, along with two Militia looking men and - a huge fucking infected grizzly bear, Deacon grunted as he slammed on his brakes, you coming to a slow stop "Stay here, don't come out until that thing is dead" he stated, not bothering to look back at you, your gaze hardened "You sure you can do this alone?" You asked wearily, eyes darting between him and the crazed bear, Deacon let out a heavy exhale "I got this".
-
Just as Deacon said he would, the bear fell and the two Militia men climbed down from the roof of the cabin, you were leaning on your bike, elbows resting on the gas tank and your chin in your hands as you watched the whole ordeal, you listened as the two men thanked Deacon endlessly, watching their interactions with him carefully "(Y/n)!" He shouted, the two men looked confused for a second until you drove into view.
"(Y/n), this is Russell and Mullins" he gestured to the two men, you nodded at them "Corporal Russell was about to take us to their camp" he looked back at the man named Russell who merely nodded "Of course, c'mon" he said, mounting his own bike "Mullins, you stay here! Guard the pass" Mullins protested but did so anyway.
On the way to Russell and Mullins' camp, Russell tells you about life in the camp - a military camp, explaining how things are done, who's in charge, what they do there.
-
He lead you and Deacon to a gate, towering defense walls on either side "Talk to Captain Kouri, he'll get you both set up, he should be over in the corner there" Russell gestured to the far left of the camp, he left you after that, you and Deacon dismounted your bikes, leaving them beside each other. "Are you sure about this?" You asked, Deacon looked at you "New beginning, remember?" He smiled softly at you, eyes darting around you both before he pressed a quick kiss to your forehead "Love you, sweetheart" he muttered lowly, you sighed softly and followed after him.
"Captain Kouri..?" Deacon asked the man sitting on a bench, the man's brows rose and he stood "At your service" Kouri shook Deacon's hand, a shining glint flashed in your vision, you looked down to see a very familiar ring on Kouri's hand, the same ring that Deacon gave Sarah on their last night together, Deacon noticed it too. Deacon tensed, the action unnoticed by Kouri, he pursed his lips and swallowed the sudden lump in his throat, you subtly jabbed Deacon's side, he shook his head, sighing softly. "Deacon, Deacon St. John, and this, this is (Y/n) (L/n)" Deacon gestured to you. You nodded as Kouri shook your own hand, he eyed you down, seeming to size you up before turning back to Deacon "You're the man that saved two of our own?" Kouri asked, Deacon nodded "Well, your help was very much appreciated".
-
Captain Kouri showed you around the Diamond Lake outpost, introducing the two of you to the vendors they had, the medbay, the sleeping quarters, cafeteria, you stared at the group of soldiers, training - well, moreso getting orders and insults barked at them by their leader, it seemed a little on the dreary side but if it's what kept them up and running, it works. "I was in the 10th Mountain" you could hear Deacon and Captain Kouri still talking behind you "And her?" You heard the Captain ask "She's a biologist, started out as a nurse" Kouri hummed "A person with military experience and another who could potentially save the world and help save lives while she's at it? We might as well have struck gold".
"We have two scientists already, both working on the same thing, but only one actual doctor, we might have to divide her time equally, we'll see what the commander has to say at the recruitment ceremony" you and Deacon shared a confused look.
-
You, Deacon and some hipster named Wade Taylor were chosen to work in the main camp, the other woman who was with you three was put in the work camp, she had a loud mouth anyway. You were weirdly given the rank of Lieutenant for your bachelor's degree in biology, you had a feeling it was mostly just so Colonel Garret could keep you under a more guarded watch and order, Deacon was given the rank of Corporal for his military expertise.
-
Garret gave you and Deacon a tour of Wizard Island, even taking you through what they called the Ark which was a large cave system in the mountain "Lieutenant" Garret stated, your spine went rigid "Yes, sir" you replied "Considering you'll be one of our scientists, I think it's important that you meet your colleagues". You brought your hand to your forehead in a salute "Of course, sir" you said, mentally cringing at the way you were acting - your military experience was slim, the only experience you've had was your father, didn't really teach you much though, besides discipline when you needed it most "You too, Corporal" Garret eyed Deacon beside you "Yes, sir".
Garret brought you to two tents that were directly beside each other, he stood at the door to the one on the right, he pushed it open "Lieutenant Weaver" Garret barked, a man stood to attention, saluting the Colonel "Sir" Garret stood rigidly, beside the table in the middle of the tent. "This is you and the Witch's newest addition, Lieutenant (L/n), and this is Corporal St. John" you saluted again, Deacon doing the same, your gaze was on the man's dingy lab coat "James Weaver, Lieutenant Weaver" he introduced himself to you. "Deacon St. John" Deacon stated, his posture set in stone "(Y/n) (L/n), Lieutenant (L/n)" he chucked as you repeated his words back to him, your tone world's lighter than Deacon's "Are you taking them to meet the Witch?" Your brow arched slightly "Yes, follow me" Garret stalked out of the tent, walking to the door of the left one.
"This is the tent of the Wizard Island Witch" you were confused at the name "She's a botanist and research scientist" your eyebrows furrowed briefly "I can see where the Witch title comes from" the Colonel's lips twitched upwards, he pushed the door open. Your ears filled with the sound of a woman scolding a grunt for not knowing how to read, you couldn't see her from where you stood outside, your eyes glanced to Deacon's, his stare already on you, you could feel his hand softly brushing against the back of yours, you wanted to hold his hand but Colonel Garret made it clear that romantic relationships were not tolerated.
When the grunt moved out of the way, the Witch had her back turned, you could see blonde hair tied into a tight, neat bun underneath a green cap, she had a black tank top on and camo green cargo pants tucked into black boots, something about the way she carried herself seemed so goddamn familiar, but you couldn't put your finger on why that seemed, your eyes couldn't pull away from the back of her head.
"Lieutenant" Garret called, you blinked, pulling yourself out of your trance, and glancing at Deacon, who seemed to be in the same problem as you, you tapped his hand with your pinky, his gaze darted down to you, his pinky softly wrapping around yours "Yes, sir" she finally replied, attention still mostly on whatever she was doing beforehand "I have some people here who I want you to meet" you could see that she was visibly annoyed, but she sighed and turned around anyway, and your world seemed to come crashing to an abrupt halt.
Your eyes widened and your palms started to sweat, your whole spine went rigid as you took in the sight of Sarah - who was very much alive after all, your mouth was dry and your slightly agape, you could feel the shock in Deacon too, just from holding his pinky with yours "Lieutenant Whittaker, meet Lieutenant (L/n) and Corporal St. John" Garret held his arm out to you, you unconsciously stepped forward, your hand slipping away from Deacon's, her blue gaze locked on yours as you blocked her view of Deacon.
You could tell by the look on her face that she recognized you too, the look of shock not unnoticed, she shook her head slightly "Yes, the new scientist" she spoke, her voice wavering as she held out her hand, your body seemed to be on autopilot as you shook it "Yeah, I uh- I was a biology major before this" the words left your dry lips without thinking, she nodded "We- we definitely can use that brain of yours" she smiled, nervously.
You stepped aside, her stare immediately darted back to Deacon "Corporal" Garret snapped Deacon out of his stupor, he took a few steps forward, his eyes nervously looking at you as he questioned everything, you couldn't comfort him - not now at least, but now you questioned if you could ever after this.
"Corporal Deacon St. John" he said simply, you could see that Sarah was still stunned but trying desperately to calm down, Garret could feel how tense it was as he cleared his throat "Corporal St. John" Deacon hesitantly saluted. "You will be catering to our scientists, whatever they need, you go out and get" your eyes lowered to the ground, you could barely feel yourself, everything felt suppressed, you could feel tears welling in your eyes, you cleared your throat "Colonel, sir" you said quickly, all eyes were on you. "May I step outside? It's just- spaces with this many people, have me on edge" the Colonel seemed to dwell on your request "Yes, don't go too far though" you nodded and practically bolted out of the tent, the cool air did nothing to quell the attack coming on, your feet carried you to the small garden that was outside Sarah's tent, you dropped to the ground at the back of it.
Your fists clenched tightly, your knuckles turning white, your whole body shook in tremors, your breathing was coming out shakily, you closed your eyes as tears slowly fell down your face. You sighed shakily as your head hit the small wall that fenced in the soil, your gaze on the clear, dull sky, you could barely feel anything "(Y/n)?" You barely heard Deacon calling out for you, or his presence beside you now. "(Y/n), baby look at me" his voice was calm, his hands gently grasping your chin, bringing your gaze back down to him, his heart clenched, painfully as he took in your pained expression - you were heartbroken, plain and simple, but why?.
He held your face in his hands, his expression mirroring yours as realization set in on what was wrong, I mean what couldn't be wrong right now, not exactly wrong but still, tears still fell down your beautiful face and he wished he could erase all your doubts. "Hey, baby" his voice still held the same soft tone, your hands gently grasped at his wrists "I-..I'm scared" you spoke, your voice was so small and fragile, Deacon's heart could've shattered right there but he held strong "Scared of what, honey?" He asked, softly wiping your tears away.
"Losing you.." Deacon sighed softly, tears threatening to fall "Who said anything about losing me?" You swallowed down the pained lump in your throat "You have Sarah back again..I don't see why you would need me" your voice held steady this time, Deacon shook his head. "(Y/n), I made a promise to you back at Lost Lake, do you remember that?" Your eyes slowly closed as you recalled the day in the grove, where Deacon confessed to you "I promised you that I was yours always from that moment on, and you know that I don't break promises" you opened your eyes, his gaze catching yours. "Sweetheart, I'm yours, not even Sarah can take that away from you" his hands grasped yours, his thumbs rubbing slow circles on the back of your hands and over your knuckles "I'm sorry.." You said, your voice barely above a whisper, he sighed breathlessly "It's okay, baby" his whispered, laying two firm kisses to the back of your hand.
"They took all my rings but this will have to do for now" your brows furrowed, clearly confused at what he was doing, you watched as he pulled a string of red thread out of his pocket, he sat down in front of you, nimble fingers going to work on the thread, you wondered what he was doing. He was tying the string around on itself, creating a small braid, he chuckled softly, grabbing your wrist and gently pulling your hand to him "A temporary fix until the real thing" he muttered, tying the braided thread around your ring finger, your heart seemed to skip several beats at what you realized was happening.
"(Y/n), you are the light of my life, you have kept me going when all seemed..when all seemed hopeless, you were there for me through everything after Farewell" you eyed the fabric band that was tied around your finger "Honey, you are my reason for everything.." You could feel more tears welling in your eyes "Will you..will you marry me?" The question left Deacon's lips under his breath, but you heard him perfectly.
"If it means being yours for the rest of our days, how could I say no?" Deacon smiled widely at that, pulling you up to him, his arms wrapping around you in a firm embrace, he sighed breathlessly into the crook of your neck. You could feel his lips curl into a smile against your skin, his hold tightened around you for a second "Hearing you finally say that, its just-..it just-" Deacon stuttered, you smiled softly "I love you, Deacon St. John".

BIOGRAPHY
Before the mortals came, the morning breeze felt like a breath over her stiff branches and then it’s a slow but pleasant process that started at the tiniest twig and ended at her roots. Outstretched branches become hands and smooth down to strong but slender arms. Her dark hair brushes her back, bark gives way to skin that’s been sunkissed for centuries. Eyes closed, her face is the picture of serenity as she stretches, hands outstretched towards the sun as if she’s praising it, and then in a fluid motion, she’s sat on her knees in the dirt, fingers combing through her ever unruly hair, braiding a few sections here and there.
She is of the Earth and yet they forget she was forged from blood and despite all her grace, she is a wild thing and she wants it known. Part of the forest long before mortals lopped it down for their cities, she lives among those like her. It was so different before them, the mortals. The Dryads were powerful protectors of the earth long before Eos tasked the phoenixes with such a thing, their skills matching the Titans among them. She is called Acacia, ‘thorny tree’ and it is fitting. They were free and she remembers how it felt to move through the forests at peace, hear it’s whispers, hear the sounds of her kind and relish in their bond to the world around them.
That was until Cronus swallowed his children.
Rhea’s cleverness saved Zeus and then came the Olympians and she could feel it in the air, the winds of change. The Dryads showed fondness for these children of the Titans they’d shared the earth with for so long, became their teachers in the ways of the land and magic.
But Acacia could feel it all the way down to her roots, that something else was coming.
And so she was not so surprised when Zeus and his siblings waged war against what felt like the whole world.
They were all caught in the crossfire of Olympian and Titan, and when it was over and the Titans lost and as their power weakened, so did that of the Dryads and she grew frustrated. Was this some sort of punishment for their neutrality?
It was something to ponder on as the world changed. She would sit upon the earth, sometimes she places flowers in her hair as the flora around her whispers the morning’s secrets and she listens intently, nods when appropriate. The Titans are imprisoned but Oceanus is free, as is Helios and she watches him set the sun in the sky and she feels like she’s waiting. For what, she’s not sure, but she feels as if she is simmering, brimming with untapped potential, like she’s waiting for an opportunity.
The Titans are imprisoned in Tartarus but their goddesses are not, for the most part and news reaches that Leto has borne a child of Zeus. But not just a child, her womb was occupied by twins and Hera could not have that. It was the most gossip they’d ever received and even the plants seemed to wait with baited breath. And then the news broke that on the island of Delos, Artemis and Apollo were born.
But the Dryads had problems to worry about that dwarfed their celebrations for the new godlings. Man had been created and the mortals found their way into the forests and she would rather fend off hundreds of satyrs than deal with one of them. At first they are thoughtful, live among the gods, but still she and her siblings hide at the mere sight. It’s infuriating and there is a certain thrill to letting them see her.
She is beautiful to them and there’s something in seeing their awe of her. Among the rest of the forest, she considers herself plain. Acacia is a tree of thorns, she is wild and brambly, she has never seen herself as beautiful, she doesn’t think she’s cared much for such a thing. Most often she is dirty and she can’t get her hair to look as silky as those of the olive trees, her stature is lean but short. So perhaps she starts looking a little differently at herself in pools, lingers in her form a bit longer before these mortals. It’s unwise, but she is curious and the creatures are new and amusing.
Until she meets her.
Artemis, the mighty hunter, reminds her again that she is wild. She is their companion, she seems to prefer their way of life to Mount Olympus. They hunt alongside her, they emerge from the trees at the mere sound of her hounds, for they do not need to fear man or satyr or lustful god when she is near.
Festivities among the trees are attended solely because she longs for the stories they bring, the music. There is much more she wants from this life, the forest is her home, she is a part of it, and yet it contains her. A satyr brings them the tale of Orpheus and she is surprised to find herself so taken by such a thing. She did not trust mortals, none of them did, they still hid from their sight or ran from them, went from flesh and blood to bark just to escape them. And yet this mortal had fallen for a nymph and had gone to the underworld for her. It had her casting a less critical and more curious eye towards those who ventured into the forest.
Though man has changed and what were once thoughtful creatures now cut down their trees, they chased nymphs and took them for wives in hopes they’d bear them sons. They seemed to spend most of their time fighting with one another and Acacia’s curiosity towards them turned to rage and confusion. One day, thinking she had heard the bark of Artemis’s hounds, she ventures just a little too far from her tree, a little past the outskirts of the forest, and she is crept upon by a man.
About to turn and flee at the sight of him, he pleaded with her to stay, his hands raised in surrender. And she paused only to realize he was no man at all and he claims he is Aristaeus, son of Apollo and one of Artemis’s companions, Cyrene. She’s never seen him before, but he wishes to hunt in the forest, waxs on wishing to hunt like his aunt, with the companionship of the Dryads. In exchange, he tells her that he will tell her of his time out in the world and who is she to refuse a child born of one of her sister’s? And so they hunt and he teaches her of art, how to work metal and clay and she grows fond of him.
But his visits grow less frequent and the earth bears the scars of man and she finds herself simmering once more. She is chased through what’s left of the forests by men who wish to possess something divine and in turn she leads them deeper into the woods with hope they never return.
Some don’t.
Lovers no longer bring her joy, nor the flowers, or her fellow Dryads as mortals continue to pillage and pollute the earth and so she weeps. She doesn’t know for how long, only that it is the last thing she remembers before falling into what she thought was an eternal rest. Acacia sleeps, but Eurydice awakes at the sound of this new world. Festooned with a name taken from her fellow nymph, one who died after being chased by her dear Aristaeus no less, she awaits what the gods have in store for Corinth.

Okay so I’ve basically spent the last day just playing Days Gone and doing nothing else and it’s honestly been such a blast plus I’ve made a shit ton of progress with the main storyline and I have lots of feels.
The whole storyline with Carlos/Jessie and the reason why the Rippers were targeting Deacon and Boozer specifically was something I really enjoyed, like the idea of something from their past coming back to haunt them after the end of the world. And then Lisa returning in that arc was just a stab in the feels and I really hope that when all is said and done she winds up somewhere safe and sound and can find a way to live her life.
When Deacon and Boozer go to blow up the dam, I struggled so much. Like I’m not the best shot to begin with and then you add in small targets at a distance twitching like crazy and I just struggle. Big time.
Skizzo’s betrayal wasn’t shocking by any stretch of the imagination. He was always going to be a scum bag causing problems. And I’m looking forward to him and Deek crossing paths again and just getting to kick his ass.
Having to say goodbye to Boozer was one of the most heart wrenching moments in the game for me. And I think the fact that once you go over the mountain pass you’re locked out of the rest of the map kind of helps with a feeling of isolation for Deacon.
THE FUCKING RAGER BEAR NO THANK YOU OMFG
I like Captain Kouri, he seems like an okay guy but I’m definitely not cool with him having the Mongrels ring.
THE REUNION WITH SARAH OMFG MY FEELS like okay Sarah being alive was no shock for me but it was still such an emotional scene and then just how the two of them don’t really seem to know how to be around each other after all this time it’s so raw and I love it
Everyone referring to Sarah as the Wizard Island Witch and Deacon just like clenching his jaw ready to start a fight like you know he just wants to around shouting John Mulaney style “THATS MY WIFE”
Going on the run with Sarah to the college in Chemult and them having a chance to kind of talk away from all the others and see each other in action was really great and then the scene where she goes in and gets cornered and Deacon finds her surrounded by dead freakers and she just keeps pulling the trigger even though she’s out of bullets was such a powerful raw gut wrenching moment and it honestly kind of reminded me in The Last of Us when Joel finds Ellie just stabbing the shit out of David even after he’s clearly dead like I know it’s not exactly the same but idk it had a similar vibe to me also just you can see how much Deacon wants to comfort her
The whole bit with Sarah at Cloverdale and finally having confirmation that her research was a part of what started everything and how she never wanted her research to be used for anything dangerous or harmful and the guilt she feels about the part she played is heartbreaking.
But getting to radio Boozer from Cloverdale made me so freaking happy omg I miss him so much. I just want to go back to Lost Lake and give Jack the toy I found and hang out with Boozeman and have a happy life.
I really hate that Doctor Jimenez was killed so soon after being introduced, he seemed like just a genuinely good guy left in all this and I wish he would’ve been around for more. Also when he wanted to go out on a run with Deacon he looked so eager to get out and get his hands dirty.
And then there’s Wade who I also really liked, like despite being a twitchy spaz who probably shouldn’t have lasted as long in this as he did in this shit. And then for him to be the one responsible Jimenez’s death and then Deacon giving him the overdose so he wouldn’t have to hang in front of everyone was just heartbreaking.

Deacon St. John || Phantom in the Night [5/5]
A/n: I present you with the conclusion of this mini series unless someone wants it to continue a little longer.
⚠️SPOILERS AHEAD⚠️
Hope you all enjoy! Love you all!!! ••••••••••••••••••••
***HAS NOT BEEN PROOFREAD! PLEASE NOTIFY ME OF ANY ERRORS!!!***
***** Prompt: Deacon searches for you in a desperate attempt to mend the wounds that have been inflicted over the past weeks. Slowly but surely, the wounds in your heart are healed. *****
~3rd Person POV~
"A gas station, huh?" Deacon mumbled to himself as he examines the area Captain Kouri circled on his map. He walked over to his bike and mentally mapped out a route to the gas station. "You better still be there, (Y/n)."
Departing from Diamond Lake, Deacon drove up the windy path up to the highway and headed straight for the gas station located off Highway 97. He had heard about the numerous of hordes that wander around the area from a few people on Wizard Island and hoped (Y/n) hadn't decided to take it upon herself to wipe out every single one.
The drifter was quite amazed and mesmerized at how (Y/n) wasn't frightened whenever she saw a horde. In fact, she found it exhilarating and always found it to be a welcoming challenge. All she was terrified of was not having all the supplies she needed to execute her plan. It would even disappoint her if there was a horde she couldn't face due to the lack of materials.
Deacon was sure of two things: (Y/n) was definitely not Sarah and he was very glad she wasn't. She was full of energy and was a hurricane of surprises. In all honesty, he has never felt so alive unless he was with her.
Arriving at the gas station, the first thing Deacon noticed was (Y/n)'s bike. The motorcycle was torn to pieces as if someone or something ripped it apart. The metal parts were bent and pulverized. "What the hell did this?" He glanced around, noting the corpses of the squatters. From the bullet holes in their heads, and no other wounds on their bodies, he knew it was (Y/n)'s doing. "Clean kill. Every single one of 'em."
By the gas pumps, Deacon found the radio Colonel Garret had gifted her after her first assignment. He picked up the device to make sure it still worked before clipping it to his belt and checking the interior of the gas station. He vaulted through a shattered window and landed behind the counter. The garage was void of anything except for a few empty racks and there was no one in the small convenience store.
When Deacon was about to give up and search further down the road, he saw the storage closet was closed. He wasn't leaving until every possible spot (Y/n) could be hiding was checked.
Slowly, the man opened the metal door. The small room was dark and he clicked on his flashlight, scanning the darkness, he found a figure balled up on the floor in the corner. Seeing the familiar unsettling mask obscuring the person's face, Deacon rushed to their side.
Deacon fell to his knees beside her, swiftly tugging the mask off her face. Her (e/c) eyes were sealed and her skin was pale and clammy to the touch. Turning her body over, he noticed a thin slash in her shirt and a crimson stain on the side of it. "Sorry 'bout this, sweetheart, but I've gotta see what happened to you." He lifts her shirt and saw a gash trail from her back to the side of her hip.
Without hesitation, he whipped out a sterile bandage  and wrapped it around the wound to prevent an infection. He grabbed his radio and contacted Captain Kouri, knowing he would pick up. "Captain, I found (Y/n), but she's in bad shape. I need someone to pick her up. There's no way I can get her back on my bike in her condition."
"Understood, corporal. I'll contact Doctor Jimenez and request immediate pickup."
Deacon thanked the captain and waited impatiently for help to arrive. The moment he placed his arms around (Y/n) and tried to hoist her body into his arms, a painful whimper escaped her lips and her eyes cracked open. "S-Shit..." She tried to push against Deacon, not recognizing him due to her blurry vision.
"Hey, hey. It's okay, (Y/n). It's Deacon," he replies, voice lower than usual and full of worry. "I'm gonna get you out of here. Just bear with me for a little bit."
By the time Deacon managed to gather (Y/n)'s body in his arms, a truck arrived outside. Two men exit and he recognizes the red bands around their arms. He carries the woman outside the gas station and to the truck, where the two men took her from him and placed her in the back seat of the white vehicle without disturbing her injury. They hopped back into the truck and headed to Wizard Island. Deacon followed behind the truck on his bike.
On Wizard Island, the two men delivered (Y/n) to Doctor Jimenez. He cleaned her wound, stitched it up, and gave her medication to fight off the pain. She sat silently on the cot, leaning forward and resting her arms on her thighs. She could feel the burning sensation from the sudden movement and immediately sat straight up to avoid ripping the stitches.
The door to the infirmary swung open and Deacon stepped inside the tent. In his hand was her mask. The drifter wandered over to the cot and sat beside her, handing the false face to her. She muttered an incoherent "thank you" before tearing her eyes from his and staring down at the ground.
"What happened out there?" Deacon inquired.
"It was just another normal assignment until Breakers came out of nowhere. The gunfire must've drawn them. One of them smashed my bike into smithereens while the others chased after me. Another batted me through an already broken window and I ended up getting a large shard snagged in my side. Crawled into the storage room, slammed the door shut, and passed out once I pulled the glass from my side after I realized my radio was missing." (Y/n) stated down at her hands, noticing the blood she had yet to wipe off. "How long was I out there?"
"Three days. What'd the doc say?" Deacon wonders.
"That he'd be reporting to the colonel and telling him I'm out of commission until I've made a full recovery. I should be back to my normal routine in a couple of weeks."
"Yeah? And what's your "normal" routine?" Deacon sneered. "I bet it also includes ignoring me."
"Deacon," (Y/n) sighs, covering her face with her hands before dropping them to speak. "You found Sarah. Where is there room for another woman in your life? A friend, maybe? But that won't be enough for me."
Deacon met her (e/c) gaze. "She found someone else."
(Y/n) was confused for a split second before breaking eye contact once she assembled the pieces. "Oh, god, Deek. When did you...?"
"Few days after we arrived. Some guy named Devin," Deacon scoffs.
"Wow, sounds like a douchy name," the woman snickered, earning a chuckle from the drifter. She placed her hands on her knees, drumming her fingers against her black jeans. "And now I'm the one who feels like an asshole..."
"For avoiding me?"
"That, and for not even giving you a slither of opportunity to talk to me. Guess it took you to save my ass to realize how moronic I've been acting these past couple of months." (Y/n) inhaled deeply through her nose and exhaled. "I know I don't deserve your forgiveness just yet, but I'm hoping you'll forgive me for my behavior soon."
Deacon placed his hand over hers, flipping the appendage over and entwining his fingers with her. "Yeah, well, let's just say it's difficult to stay mad at you."
(Y/n) smiled and rested her head against his shoulder. "Glad to know."
<————————————<<<<<<<<<<
Two weeks had flown by quickly and (Y/n) was completely healed. Deacon had been assigned to watch over the woman by Colonel Garret, who was influenced by Captain Kouri in the final decision. Relationships were forbidden, but that didn't stop the couple from displaying their affection for one another through small actions when no one was around.
(Y/n) had been assigned to take down a marauder camp located southeast of Wizard Island while Deacon wound up being Weaver's errand boy. The chemist has been working energetically on a napalm molotov that would create a much larger radius of damage than three normal molotov cocktails.
Deacon currently was delivering the last ingredient Weaver needed for his creation—polystyrene. Simply put, he brought back an entire box of foam cups. The chemist was hustling around his lab after getting his hands on the final ingredient for his invention. The man in the lab coat grinned as he held up the first of many napalm molotovs. "You ready to test this bad boy out, corporal?"
"I know someone who's gonna enjoy this," Deacon replied and contacted (Y/n) over the radio. Remembering who he was with, he made sure to not use her real name. "Corporal St. John to Phantom. You out there?"
"This is Phantom. What is it, corporal?" Her soft tone asked curiously.
"If you're not busy at the moment, come to Lieutenant Weaver's lab."
"I'll be there shortly. Phantom out."
Weaver was skeptical as to why Deacon would think (Y/n) would enjoy his invention. "You really think an assassin is gonna enjoy a napalm molotov? This shit is pretty loud and alarming."
"She's not really a—look, I've known her for a while. One of the things she did before joining the militia is taking down hordes all by herself. You can bet she's gonna enjoy this."
The chemist smirked, placing the explosive on the table beside him. "Let me guess—girlfriend or wife? Which one?"
"Neither," the drifter denies snappily, hoping the chemist wouldn't detect his relationship with (Y/n) and avoid being torn apart from one another. "She's a good friend I've been traveling with for some time now."
Weaver didn't believe it for a second, but he decided to let it slide. "Mhmm, a "good friend". I'll buy that for now." The moment he turned around, he came face to face with a horrifying mask. "Holy shit!"
"Sorry," (Y/n) huffed with laughter, pulling down her black hood and taking off the mask. "Forgot to take it off."
"Jesus..." Weaver puffed out, placing a hand over his racing heart. "Gave me a heart attack. When the hell did you get here? I didn't even hear the door open."
"I was on the island when the corporal called. It only took me a couple of minutes to get here," she replied.
"Don't do that sneaky assassin shit on me," the chemist sighed. "Especially with that creepyass mask."
"Y'know, I'm not really an assassin. In no way, shape, or form have I had such elite training for a risky position. It's just what the colonel came up with."
"You're doing all his dirty work," Deacon commented.
"Very true," Weaver agreed. "Never been particularly a big fan of the colonel's, but he gives me access to the shit I need."
"Anyway," (Y/n) started as she glanced at Deacon, wanting to change the subject. "Why'd you call me here?"
"This." The drifter picked up the napalm molotov and showed it to her. "We're testing it out."
(Y/n) took the jug from him and examined it closely. Her eyes narrowed when she got a whiff of a familiar scent. "Kerosene. Is this... a molotov?"
"A napalm molotov to be more exact," the lieutenant responded. "It has a larger radius and burns longer than a normal molotov. You two are gonna test it on a horde."
A glint of excitement glimmered in (Y/n)'s eyes. Both men noticed but Deacon was the only one smirking. Weaver was confused and eyes the drifter, whose only response is, "Told you so."
<—————————————<<<<<<<<<<<<
Deacon and (Y/n) were accompanied by Captain Kouri to the small town of Chemult. He joined the couple to see how well Weaver's invention truly worked under Colonel Garret's orders.
On a plateau overlooking the small town, they spotted the horde weaving through the crashed vehicles and towards the derailed train. The only light they had as guidance were the dim streetlights and their flashlights.
"They'll be here for a while. This is their feeding ground," (Y/n) informed the men as she handed Deacon his binoculars. She wandered over to the crate of napalm molotovs strapped on the back of her new bike, courtesy of Captain Kouri, and grabbed all she could carry. "I'll be back."
"You know what you're doing?" Kouri questioned.
"She's done this before," Deacon replies. "A lot."
"I've got all that I need, captain. That, and much more," she smirked. "I'm looking forward to seeing what Weaver's invention can do."
Deacon crosses his arms, eyes trained on (Y/n)'s back as she left and headed into Chemult. Captain Kouri was aware of their relationship and wondered if the drifter was worried. "You're not going to try and stop her?"
"Even if I did, she wouldn't listen to me. Learned that a while ago. She's taken on bigger hordes by herself."
"Never expected to meet someone who took down hordes for amusement," Kouri said.
"Yeah," Deacon chuckled. "Neither did I."
Suddenly, a large flame rose into the sky as loud shrieks echoed throughout the small town. Deacon grabbed his binoculars and watched a third of the horde burn. The Swarmers caught in the explosion cried out before collapsing to the ground.
Captain Kouri was amazed at the sight. "Lieutenant Weaver will be more than happy to know his explosive works. Now all we have to do is wait for the rest of the horde to be wiped out."
Another throng of explosions filled the air as the horde scurried around Chemult after (Y/n). She led them directly into the traps she set and only a few remained as they chased her down the street. She grabbed her handgun and killed the last remaining Swarmers on her heels.
All was silent. The horde was wiped out and there were no Freaks in the area. (Y/n) sighed in relief as she laid down on her back. The hard asphalt wasn't the most comfortable, but she didn't care. Staring up at the stars, she felt at peace for the first time in years.
Someone sat beside the woman and she knew exactly who it was because there was only one possibility. Sitting up, she glanced at Deacon with a smirk. "So, how was the show?"
"Still can't believe you find it entertaining to take on hordes," he stated.
"Someone's gotta do it," (Y/n) retorts. With a grin, she placed a hand on his chest and pushed him down to the ground. She quickly straddled his hips before he could get up and placed both hands on his chest, leaning down until their faces were only a few inches apart. "There's no knife this time, I promise."
Deacon's hands gravitated towards her hips with a playful grin. "As much as I'm enjoying this position, this ain't exactly the most romantic place."
"What?" (Y/n) lifted her head, gazing around the decaying town. "On the road smack-dab in the middle of the apocalypse isn't doing it for you where a Freak could spot us any second? What a shame. I like to live on the edge."
"Yeah, I know you do. Just don't drag me along for the ride."
The woman sighed defeatedly and climbed off Deacon. "You're no fun, Deek." She stood up and crossed her arms, lips pursed in a childish manner.
Deacon got to his feet and adjusted his militia hat. "Just tryna keep our asses from getting eaten alive."
(Y/n) unfolded her arms, resting a hand on her hip. "Yeah. Wouldn't want to find you a little over here, there, or everywhere. It's not fun picking up the pieces, especially body parts."
"You've—never mind. Not gonna even ask."
"We better not keep Captain Kouri waiting much longer, but before we go..." (Y/n) reached out, grabbing the collar of Deacon's shirt and hauling him towards her. The drifter didn't have time to even blink before he felt her soft lips against his. It was a sweet and innocent kiss, but they both had desperately wanted to go further. Morosely, they couldn't do such a deed just yet.
Once the kiss came to an end, (Y/n) released Deacon and smiled softly at him. "I love you, Deacon. I hope one of these days, it'll be just us again."
Deacon wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her into his side, placing a kiss on her forehead. "I'll make sure we get the hell outta this place together."
