7.Two films - from very different genres at best - you'd want to mash-up in an unholy experiment.

Okay, hear me out. We take all of these nice teen coming of age John Hughes movies like Pretty in Pink, Some Kind of Wonderful, The Breakfast Club etc, but in the middle of it all the kids have to bunker down at home. Because it's The Purge. Imagine we have this film with an obvious bully type of person and all the kids decide to get revenge now (sssshhhh, I realize I just reinvented The Final, too late now, I'm typing) In the middle of it all there is still some romance happening, also trying to steal the perfect prom dress from that one well guarded boutique in town. The music is all 80s bops and one of the kids is related to a politician involved for commentary. (I know, I'm just throwing characters from A into setting B, not even mashing-up in true fashion. I need to think more about the concept.)

9. A scene that made you pause a movie and why. (Too scary, too non-sensical, second-hand embarrassment, crying, laughing...)

It happened only like a week ago or so, this is why I remember. But I watched Orphan: First Kill finally. It was on my list, but not in this must-see kinda way, so I never read up on anything about it. And then in comes this mother character and I'm like "huh, looks familiar" and then suddenly it hit me so hard, that I had to pause and absolutely scream into my pillow. It's Julia Stiles. And not recognizing her made me feel so old all of a sudden. You say that name and I think about 10 Things and such (I completely forgot I saw her in Hustlers). I often have this "oooohhhh, that's where I know them from" moment with actors I can't immediately place, but that felt like a total punch to the face for some reason.

Also, I absolutely remember watching Ju-On for the very first time. Alone. At night. In a very quiet house. That moment with the ghost appearing under the covers? Yep. PAUSE BUTTON! LIGHTS ON! Let me take a quick breath here. That freaked me out. And I stayed awake after watching the whole thing (I had to finish or it would have been worse) and posted on a forum. That film was tense, but especially NOT BEING SAVE UNDER THE BLANKET!! COME ON!!!!!!!

14. An action sequence you deeply enjoy.

I have recently watched the film The Princess again. So let me talk about that whoooooooole thing. Because sadly it's not well known and I'm afraid it will be lost overall, only pirated copies circulating, because streamers delete content and pretend it never existed.

I was in the exact mood of "I wanna watch something action-y" and there is so much to choose from to scratch that itch, but I wanted some hand-to-hand combat, not car chases and mindless fun - so this is the perfect fit.

The story is so simple and almost irrelevant (in a good way). Princess should get married, she said no, dude got angry and tries to take over the kingdom by force then. But ohohohoho, the Princess has been training since she was a little girl with her super cool personal female warrior bff (no homo) and she takes matters into her own hands. Which means battling her way all the way through the tower she is kept in and save her family.

Look, the first dude she kills within the first five minutes dies by hairpin through the eye. Anything in reach will be used as a weapon. It's fight after fight. Kicks, punches, swords, down the staircase, fun in a kitchen. I would have killed to have this film as a kid.

“Teenager Cassie Gale”

This is Cassie, she’s between 12 or 13 years old in the drawing, I’m not really good at drawing full bodies but I tried my best. That’s what counts the most me trying my best to draw a full body person. As you can tell, she is a rough and tumble young lady. She is one tough young lady, who hates people who bully her brother and stands up for what’s right, and she is a very loyal & kind individual.

She has a lot of Angst for a 12-13 year old young lady & Cassie might look like Ruby & her has Dorothy’s personality. But I hope you enjoy it. I just do this for fun and if you are a part of a Discord that I join, you probably might’ve seen it floating around.

BNHA Characters that I like, despite having the relevance of a white crayon- The Volcano Thieves.

Look at these idiots, I love them.

These characters have never shown up in My Hero Academia outside of, to my knowledge, A Japanese Arcade Cabinet, the BNHA Card Game, and Horikoshi's Sketches, despite that, I still think these idiots are amazing; because they feel like My Heroes version of The Shocker from Marvel: Career Criminals who probably have never killed someone, though they would also probably be surprisingly powerful if they actually tried. They just want to steal yen and fight strong heroes, almost like professional wrestlers without the ring.

• Maguma Iwata/Volcano

- Probably feral and hotheaded.

- Likely started the Volcano Thieves because he was bored of being a Civilian and didn't want to be a Hero.

- Looks like he's the most objective focused of the team.

- Strong as fuck, loves posing.

- Would surprisingly be the brain cell holder of the group.

• Konako Haizono/Dusty Ash

- Feels like she would be the "Nami" of the group.

- Good at planning heists and escaping, bad at dealing with her teammates.

- Spends most of her cut of laundered money on lotion and moisturizer, considering her ash quirk dries her skin out.

• Tsumuji Kazetani/Gust Boy

- Youngest member of the group for sure.

- His name, "Gust Boy", was definitely chosen by the News, he will never get away from it.

- Is actually super strong despite looking like Daffy Duck, considering his Fan quirk lets him make tornadoes if he wants to, for a full minute no less!

These guys would be perfect for an OVA starring the lesser utilized 1-A Students, because any episode with them wouldn't feel like it has heavy stakes, they aren't connected to the League, Yakuza, or the MLA, they just want to steal, like a Team Rocket with superpowers.

"She really messed you up, didn't she?" Ruby murmured, leaning against the wall of Cora's resting chamber.

Regina stood with her back to the werewolf, resting the rose atop the coffin of the dead woman she'd been cursed to call 'Mother.'

"Is there a reason you've come here, Miss Lucas? To gloat? To threaten me? Your precious Snow isn't going to die, don't worry--"

"Gina. I'm... not here for Snow." Ruby sighed softly, taking a step forward. "Are... I mean, it's..."

The older woman turned to face the wolf, eyes alight in a sickly violet. "Spit it out then, Miss Lucas."

"... she wasn't... a good person." Ruby chose to say, lifting a hesitant hand to Regina's face. Her fingers grazed the scar at her upper lip, pulling back when the shorter woman gave a shaky breath.

"And I am?" Regina chuckled brokenly. "I'm a monster just as she was, Ruby. You had a lovely front row seat and you'll most likely get another one. I'm just... made to be this way."

The woman took Ruby's hand suddenly, trembling hands holding a calloused and strong one.

"I don't know why you keep coming back to me but you need to stop. It has to stop, Ruby." She whispered, gleaming tears of purple leaving her violet eyes. "You have to stop."

The werewolf shook her head rapidly, moving to embrace her lover--

--only for Regina to wave her hand and send the wolf in a plume of mist.

The werewolf would find herself back in her home.

Away from the chamber.

Away from her lover.

Away from Regina Mills.

Away from the Evil Queen.

Ruby stands alone, in what's left of Regina's magic as it slowly dissipates around her, one hand still reaching out into the emptiness of her bedroom.

With a defeated sigh, she drops her hand to her side, fingers curling into a fist.

Another great pic set drawn for me by @konako. Again these are for some of my MCU fics that feature Female Peter Parker (Penelope Parker). This pic (and fic elements) take inspiration from the 90s Spider-Man Clone Saga comic arc that lasted from 1994 to 1996. It is not a direct adaptation, it is merely inspired by it and draws some content from it.

This pic features Penelope, her clone Beth Reilly (Female Ben Reilly), and Kaine Parker, a clone who suffered from a degenerative condition.

Now I know the Clone Saga is....divisive among Spider-Man fans...and yeah, the longer it went on the plot just went off the rails and went batshit crazy. But I do love the introduction of Ben Reilly/The Scarlet Spider, and some of the Clone Saga contents, but it did really go off the rails after awhile and the writers were just cramming so much content into it without much care for how ridiculous it was getting. It was crazy even by comic book standards. As always, my version of Penelope's appearance is based on Anya Taylor-Joy, as is Beth's. However I wrote in that the degenerative affects Kaine suffered under, made her body age beyond what Penny and Beth were, so instead of being a teenager, she is in her late 20s/early30s. Kaine is based on actress Meghan Ory (who some may know as playing Ruby on "Once Upon a Time" among other roles). Who Konako has drawn such great art of Meghan before on her page, and she did again an amazing job here capturing the characters, the outfits, and even the anatomy of them. Dress to Impress

Description: A gig for Wakako involves attending a glitzy party in the city centre with a number of Tyger Claws in attendance, V need to blend in and go about her business unnoticed.

“I have a gig for you, V”

“Lay it on me, Wakako” V shifted on the stool in her weaponry, the sniper from Panam in bits in front of her on the table.

“I need you to infiltrate a Tyger Claw den and send me the information you find on the computer of a Mr. Yuki Konako”

“Sounds easy enough, klep some info, send it on your way, nothing I haven’t done before for you”

“I had thought you might say that,” The elder woman smiled faintly. “There is a party being held at the location tonight, I have secured you an invitation”

V saw the invite pop up on her Kiroshi. “So, I guess I’m getting dressed up for this gig”

V thumbed through the items in her wardrobe; leather jackets, vests, jeans, sneakers, boots, a random assortment of crop tops and tank tops, before finally coming across one of three dresses she had. Pulling them out she held them up one by one to her frame in front of the mirror, switching back and forth trying to figure out which one would be best in a firefight or give her maximum mobility if she got into trouble.

She heard the rustle of Johnny’s jeans and caught a glimpse of him in the mirror leaning against her desk, dark gaze sweeping down the back of her body as he lounged silently with his arms crossed. She expected some sort of play by play review or some sarcastic comment from the Rockerboy but only received static as she finally chose her outfit and dropped her towel to pull it on.

“What? Got nothing to say about my outfit, Silverhand?”

“Just admiring it from the back, never realised just how much of an ass you had on you before”

She grinned softly glancing over her shoulder at him. “So you’re an ass man, are you?”

“Nah, I like a set of big bouncing titties in my face”

She laughed shaking her head as he mimicked a set of breasts in his face. “Good to know” She went to grab her shoes, simple heels that she hoped would be easy enough to kick off if she needed to run.

“You scrub up well V,” It sounded like a genuine compliment from the Rockerboy. “Your racks not too bad either”

She rolled her eyes shaking her head again as she slipped her heels on and gave one last look in the mirror before heading to the door. “Don’t wait up, Johnny”

He rolled his eyes from against the wall before glitching out of view.

“They’re all staring at you, V, thought you were supposed to blend in, not draw attention?” Johnny glitched into view at her left side, one elbow on the bar as he leaned back surveying the room beside her.

“Shut up, Johnny, no ones staring”

“Then you haven’t seen that couple over in the booth checking you out, whispering to each other about asking you back to their place for a little bit of midnight fun”

Her cheeks flushed slightly, lip caught between her teeth as her gaze swept towards said couple and then away. “Not my type, I like my men a little less Corpo and a little more filthy... same goes for my women too”

“Don’t know, they could be one of those freaky Corpo couples, like to get down and dirty with whips and chains”

She rolled her eyes taking a sip from her whiskey, the ice clinking the sides of the glass. “What about Mr. Manly Man with the triple XL biceps? He seems to be staring like he’s undressing me”

Johnny laughed. “Yeah, he’s probably fantasying about bending you over the bar top when you’ve had one to many to care whose watching”

“You seem to think this party will turn into one big orgy, something you know that I don’t?”

“Yeah, lots of people in this city are secretly freaky cunts, especially when you dangle as something as tasty as you in front of them”

“Tasty as me?”

“Long legs, short dress, and a nice tight ass being shown off”

She almost choked on her drink and he grinned. “Can we talk about something other than my nice tight ass?” She felt the heat creep up from under her collar.

“Sure, can talk about your sweet rack instead,” He motioned to the top half of her dress. “But that collar doesn’t show those puppies off, not like that Samurai tank you found”

She rolled her eyes downing the last of her drink, the bar tender moving to offer her a top up only for her to place a hand over the top of her glass and shake her head; she was on a gig, no time to get wasted.

“Need to get past the guard near the curtain, it leads up to the offices above, any suggestions?”

“Flash your ass and disappear into the crowd for him to follow”

“That tactic might have worked when Jackie was about but I don’t have a partner to slip up there while I keep him entertained”

Johnny looked over at her, mild surprise in his eyes. “You’ve used that ploy before?”

“Of course I have, what burly man doesn’t like a damsel in distress that can’t figure out how to get her engine to turn over?” An impish grin tugged at her lips. “‘specially when that damsel’s the one that unhooked a sparky” He shook his head with a laugh as she began to move through the crowd closer to the curtain, she stopped near the largest group of people she could and scanned the area for anything to use as a distraction. “Bingo” She grinned spotting a speaker to the left of the bar, a quick hack and a screech of noise drew the attention of everyone in the vicinity, the guard moving to investigate and giving her a window to slip through the beaded curtain and book it up the stairs.

“Smooth, V”

“It has been known to happen”

Creeping up the stairs she scanned the room and hacked each camera disabling them before giving the room one last sweep and standing. She made her way through the small multi-desk office, laptops, chairs, and a few vending machines scattered about but her destination was the office at the back of everything, the semi-transparent door gave her a descent view that no one was in there but unfortunately refused to budge.

“Now what?”

She rolled her eyes at Johnny’s query and forced the door to move, fingers slipping between the crack made before she put all her might into the door and wrenched it open, the gorilla arms Vik had installed for her doing wonders at breaking the lock as she forced the door back.

“Damn...” She heard Johnny’s breathless whisper as she stepped into the doorway and looked up, the camera sweeping the room hadn’t registered her yet, a quick flick of of the power switch underneath it and it deactivated.

V pulled her jack from its port on her wrist and plugged it into the computer, eyes steady on the office door as the transfer of data to Wakako began.

Data Transfer: 20%

She flinched hearing voices outside the office and willed the transfer to hurry up as they lingered, louder than before but not quite at the office door. Her heart jumped into her throat as she saw a man pass by the door talking to another, both stopping just on the other side of the door.

“Where’d Juno leave those pills?”

“Don’t know, I think Yuki had a few stashed away in his office though”

She swore dropping low and activated her scanner searching for anything she could see outside the door to cause a distraction.

Fire extinguisher. No, too close.

Disabled Camera. No, reactivating it meant she was still fucked getting out.

Laptop. No, facing the wrong way.

Vending Machine. Bingo.

She grinned sweeping it with her scanner again and activating a quick hack that had it short circuit and began to toss out its contents one after the other.

V drummed her fingers against the table top, the transfer was almost complete, just a little more and it was done. She heard the two Tyger Claws grumble about the machine before commenting that they’d have to have someone look at it.

“Lets find those pills and get back before Bunta notices we’re gone”

She bit her lip, the progress bar on her optics creeping along.

V pulled her jack as soon as the transfer cleared and dived for the cover of a nearby couch, its curve giving her enough of a space to crawl towards the exit as the office door slid open, two Tyger Claws entering the office engrossed in their conversation.

She watched and waited before targeting the computer to give another distraction as she slipped out the door and crouched low running through the multi-desk office and back towards the stairs. Her heels slapping against the metal as she rushed down and slipped through the curtain and back into the party, thankful that the guard was distracted by a nearby patron throwing up in one of the booths.

“Sneaky bitch” Dear god, if he’d been real she would have rammed her elbow back into Johnny’s face possibly breaking his nose as he whispered into her ear from behind, instead she flinched, a few party goers giving her strange looks as she bypassed them.

“Fuck me, Johnny, don’t fucking do that” She glared at the shit eating grin on his face as she weaved her way towards the exit, heart hammering a million miles a minute against her ribcage as she tried to act natural.

Getting to the street she called for her Hella EC-D and slipped in as soon as the car slowed to a halt, she grinned in the mirror before raising Wakako on the holo.

“V, I have received the data, another job well done”

“Wouldn’t have it any other way”

“Eddies are coming your way and I will be sending another gig your way soon”

“Always a pleasure, Wakako, keep me posted”

The call ended and V tossed the phone back onto her dash. “V,” She glanced over at Johnny in the passengers seat and cocked an eyebrow when he remained facing forward, a faint redness dusting his cheeks. “Keep the dress” Her lips twisted trying to suppress the happy smile that threatened to break out and lowered her head slightly nodding.

Red Snow 7. guiding them with a hand on the small of their back

Come on, you just want me to yell about the moment Snow guides Red away from the mob. This is a canon thing!! hmmmm..... so you have chosen angst. (There are liberties taken, but it’s clearly just the editing cutting things out...)

Red can't feel a thing, yet she feels everything at once. Her knees buckling under the crushing weight of the truth, the murder, the loss of Peter, her True Love! But also the hands reaching out, pulling her up and away. Away from the scene of the crime and towards the safety of the woods, a road out. But she can hear the mob, so loud and clear, asking for the beast's head. She should run towards those flickering lights.

But there is Mary, pulling, determined. One hand around hers, the other on her back, pushing. Choosing to flee. Red can't do anything but follow her lead. She is so weak. In body and spirit, even though she could probably overpower her. Overpower the whole crowd like she must have done with the hunting party the night before! It's too much to take in. It's easier to give herself over to Mary's guiding hands.

Days later Mary confides why it's easy for her to choose to run. It's already all she does as Snow White. Then it’s easy for Red to follow her lead. It’s not so easy to accept the kindness she is given. But that kindness means it’s not hard at all to stand against her mother’s wishes. And walking away from Anita’s grave side by side, Red feels the hand on her back again. The only comfort she needs in that moment.

During the curse when Ruby is at her lowest and she finally tries to leave town for good, Mary Margaret and Emma show up out of the blue. Since there is no bus coming, she accepts Mary Margaret’s their invitation. Emma opens the apartment door and is already halfway to the kitchen counter, but Ruby hesitates. She’s never been here before and she doesn’t want to impose. But Mary Margaret takes a step away from the doorway, to stand right next to Ruby.

“It’s okay, we’ve got you for tonight.” And with that she puts her hand on the small of Ruby’s back. The pressure is the slightest of nudges, but Ruby feels like it’s a big push, yet at the same time it’s clear that hand will support her. She smiles as she enters. They have never spend much time together, but this moment felt... right.

And it is years later when Ruby feels the same kind of push, this reassurance of her own strength and the promise that the hand will always be ready to catch her should she stumble. It’s when her heart beats so fast it’s jumping up her throat, when her lips are dry and she is so scared to put them on Dorothy’s mouth. Snow’s hand holds her arm, but for a second it glides under her cloak and rest on her back when she starts walking towards her happy ending. Electrifying.

Ruby learns a whole new love language through touch, but the effect Snow’s hand guiding her through painful moments is never matched. It is special.

The unthinkable happens, Ruby doesn’t know how to comfort Snow. “We share a heart.” Her voice cracks on each word. “He can’t die and leave me behind.” Nobody knows what to say to that. Protocol demands the royal widow to follow her late husband’s casket. While Charming is rolled down the streets to the cemetery where a tomb awaits, Snow is to walk behind, her mourning exposed. Ruby can’t stand the sight of it and only a few paces in she crosses the line.

“I’ve got you.” She takes Snow’s left hand into hers and her right hand travels over her back, resting at the spot where she knows strength and confidence can spring from. Her thumb rubs up and down, even though Snow probably doesn’t notice through the thick black fabric. Protocol is broken and whoever cares can be mad, but Ruby knows this is how they started and she will see her friend through this moment. Through all the pain and uncertaintity, a hand on her back can make all the difference.

Red Queen - 19. tugging at the other’s clothes to keep them close 

The Evil Queen still couldn’t believe how Snow White’s oh so loyal pet turned on her. Having a werewolf in her army did make things more fun for sure. But there was more to it, slowly building, hard to admit. At first she kept a close eye on Red, because there was a chance this was an act. Of course Regina used a truth spell and the way Red had spilt her heart out -- there was something familiar in the exposed pain.

After being assured of her motives, it was nice getting any update directly from Red. She knew her place! But she knew how not to tremble and try to sugarcoat any bad news. That was refreshing. Regina started to find ways to keep Red around longer, to talk more to her. Finding special tasks for her to do that warranted private instructions.

“You understand what I want you to do?” Red got up from her kneeling position, ready to leave. “Yes, my Queen. You’ve been very clear.” She started to turn, but Regina’s hand shot forward, getting a hold of the red cloak. Red looked down at the fingers and then dared to meet Regina’s gaze. “Be careful though. I’d rater have you back in one piece.” For a second Red smiles. “Is that worry I hear?” “I have punished people for less impudence!” Regina’s face turned stone-cold, yet her hand remained a gentle grip “Where would I find the ten men to replace your strength?”

The Curse swallowing the Enchanted Forest was the Evil Queen’s greatest victory, but she wished she would have had more control over the exact outcome. Something about seeing Red... Ruby as a waitress seemed wrong. Yet it was nice still having her around to serve, even if it was just bringing food. And with Henry around going for a weekly burger was okay even for a Mayor.

Although Regina never was one of Ruby’s favorite customers. No matter what there was always something about the order - extra salt, a table spoon, more ketchup, a second serving of coffee right away; it was like Regina demanded special attention every time. And her very well chosen and polite words were always accompanied by a tug on her blouse or jeans or skirt.

Ruby served the food and the second she would try to turn, Regina found a way to hold on to her, no matter how flimsy the clothes. “One second, Miss Lucas.” It became a dance. Even Henry noticed and tried to tell Regina it seemed rude, but Regina talked over him. She never did this with any other staff, but somehow Ruby found herself to be on shift when Regina walked in. Well, other guests touched her in far ruder ways... ... ...

When the curse broke though, every instance of this since time had moved on rushed back to Red’s mind. Every tug, every time those finger reached out, every pull as if to draw her true conscience out. And while people rejoiced meeting again as their true selves in the street, Ruby ran towards the Mills’ mansion.

Regina was... a pile of misery. The defeated Queen. Lost the war. Lost her son. Lost the bit of happiness that was Snow White’s misery. There was lots to work through, but barging in Ruby wished to do only one thing - bury her fingers in the collar of Regina’s very nice white blouse and pull her close. Surely somewhere a kiss of true love had ended this nightmarish existence in smalltown Ohio, but she wanted a kiss she was denied in the land of fairy tales.

When the inevitable mob of angry people finally came, they hadn’t spoken a word. And all Regina did when she opened the door was to reach out with the other hand and tug at that hideous fake fur around Ruby’s shoulders, making her step closer. Not as a shield in front, but as back-up behind.

“werewolves have higher body temperatures” is a pretty popular headcanon, but if a werewolf’s body temperature was higher than a human’s, wouldn’t they get colder quicker than humans when it’s cold outside and wouldn’t they get very sweaty when it is just warm outside?

I.... may regret getting so far into the maths of Ruby's wolf size, now my first instinct to fictional werewolf headcanons is to start reading up on thermodynamics....

Don't quote me on that, I'm no scientist, but I believe heat loss and heat production depend on the body's natural core temperature and its metabolic functions to keep it safely constant, which varies from person to person (and human to werewolf).

A human's body reaction and a werewolf's supernatural body reaction to the same temperature aren't equal, as their bodies function differently, require different amounts of energy and preserve, produce or lose heat differently.

Now for an actual quote:

But the rate of heat dissipation is determined by the outside temperature and the heat transfer coefficient (this is determined by wind, blood circulation pattern, sweating, clothing, ...). Think of a fever. A human that, let's say, exceeds that ~36ºC~ range of safe body temperature mighty feel cold, because the body is working to dissipate the heat and bring back the temperature to a healthy state. A human can't self-regulate their temperature past a certain point, so it's a danger to overheat. While it can regulate itself, the body sheds heat and as heat leaves the body, they feel cold. 

A werewolf that operates safely and normally at a higher temperature wouldn't dissipate the "extra" heat, because, for them, it's not "extra" — nor dangerous to the same extent it would be to a human.

The kind of heat is their normal. They're using it, the heat is a product of their natural faster metabolism, as energy is required for their supernatural bodies to function at higher levels than a human, making for super strength, speed, stamina, senses, etc.

A werewolf, like a normal wolf, would also have a body better adapted to the cold, being able to keep their body temperature at a comfortable and safe point for longer than a human. Maybe their skin functions differently, keeps them insulted, able to keep heat from dissipating at extremally low temperatures, making them excellent winter creatures.

At the same time, they'd have more productive ways of dissipating excessive heat, when it gets too hot even for them. Yes, sweating included. But also a faster heart beating, faster breathing, all around an even faster metabolism.

Simply put, a human and a werewolf are different, with different biology.
