Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2, Suzaku Kururugi's Imperial Knight —Aesthetic
Suzaku Kururugi's Character & Personality
Through out the warfare, Suzaku's ironic justice and naive decisions caused him to loose his dear ones. Upon which, he sullied his hands with the blood of thousands. Due to this, Suzaku decided to fulfill his own destiny, The Ultimate Destruto. The experience in the thought elevator expanded his perspective and he decides to ally himself with his fondly known equal: Lelouch. Suzaku understands the cycle of hatred must be broken for a peaceful future. Though it can only be done by Zero, no one would accept Lelouch as Zero because of the Geass. Thus, Suzaku devises the Zero Requiem with him. With a strong willpower, he's viciously dedicated to the plan's completion. Suzaku then takes the responsibility of being 'Lelouch's Sword' to conquer his enemies and weakness. He fakes his death in battle, reappears under the guise of Zero and stabs Lelouch. Lelouch thinks of the Geass as a gift, which allows one to do something the other can't. He then touches Zero's mask to offer Suzaku the Geass and tells him Suzaku Kururugi is no more. Now, only Zero exists, who should strive for peace and justice to bring about a brighter future. Suzaku accepts the Geass as he killed his best friend. Later, he's protecting Nunnally while wearing the guise of Zero. Suzaku had accepted the fate of Zero and would never lead a normal life as himself. As a result, despite his frequent changes when facing grief, guilt and self-loathing; he's a dedicated and loyal man who wanted peace.

Merikh
"I do not fear death. It is the only release from this never-ending cycle of bloodshed."
The weight of his iron mask seemed to grow heavier with each passing moment. It was the first time Merikh struggled to keep his emotions in check, his thoughts torn between duty, desire and freedom.
