Calypso was not allowed outside the castle. But that never stopped her before from sneaking out into the village and the crystal shore against her father's wishes. She was naturally curious and nothing could keep her contained. The barefoot princess trotted along cobblestone paths to find the visitors from the distant planet of Coruscant. She hid behind a barrel and a few crates in front of a small shop as she peered over the edge to observe the visitors as best she could. That's when she saw them, escorting the famous senator she had heard so much about. Senator Amidala of Naboo. She had heard of Naboo many times and oh how she would like to go there one day. There were many places she would like to go some time but her father would never allow it. Her blue eyes curiously examined the senator clothed in elegant garments with her hair up in a beautiful updo. She truly looked both regal and important. Calypso's eyes drifted to the man escorting her. A Jedi? She thought to herself. She had never seen one before but she had heard of them plenty of times in stories and legends. She heard they had fiery swords made completely of light but she didn't see any such weapon on the man with the senator. Her attention shifted now to the battalion escorting the jedi and senator. Clones. Another thing Calypso had never seen but she had certainly heard of them. They were the Republic's mighty soldiers. Engineered to fight wars and win battles. All of them were wearing helmets and full armor but she assumed they all looked the same underneath their helmets. Curiously, she moved out of her hiding position and began following them at a distance to the palace. She wanted to know more about them. She had to know more about them.
"You must be the senator from Naboo." A guard at the palace addressed the woman. Padme smiled. "Yes, that is correct." She informed him. "Good. you are requested within the main haul. But the king made it clear that your ahem, entourage, will have to wait outside the palace gates." Anakin scoffed at this news. "And why's that?" He asked as he crossed his arms over his chest. "The king doesn't care much for the soldiers of the Republic. Not to mention the Jedi. He requested himself that you lot be left out here, but he assures you that the senator will be in good care." Anakin rolled his eyes but he could tell he didn't have much of a choice. "Ani," Padme said as she turned to her husband. "I will be alright. Stay out here with your men." Anakin sighed as he gave her a forced smile and wished her the best of luck as he watched her escorted away into the palace without him.
"Looks like we'll have to wait outside." Anakin said as he turned to his men who groaned. Jesse removed his helmet as he wiped his forehead with his arm. "But it's so hot on this planet!" He complained and several of his brothers agreed with him. "You'll be alright." Kix replied. "It's not enough to give you heat stroke." He added. "Wait, does this mean we won't get to see the princesses?" Fives asked as he removed his helmet. "That's what you're concerned about?" Kix asked as he removed his helmet as well. "Uh, yeah." Fives replied with a scoff. The men's conversation was interrupted by the sound of a crash on the other side of the courtyard. They turned to see a blonde woman tumble into a stack of wooden boxes as she climbed over the castle wall. "Are you alright miss?" Rex asked as both he, Kix, and Jesse moved over to her. The woman looked up at them with wide blue eyes. She looked both confused and startled. "Here, let me help you up." Kix offered as he extended his hand to her and she gingerly took his hand and allowed him to help her up to her feet. She quickly dusted off her dirtied skirt and ran her fingers through her long blonde hair. "You took quite a fall, everything okay?" Kix asked her and she responded by signing the word yes with her hand by gently shaking a closed fist up and down at him. "What's your name?" Jesse asked and the girl looked up at him before signing out C-A-L-Y-P-S-O. Jesse and Rex shared a look. "Uh... did you understand that?" Jesse asked and Rex shook his head. "Nope." "She said her name was Calypso." Kix said and Calypso's eyes widened as a gleeful smile appeared on her face. She nodded happily at him. "You understood that?" Jesse asked and Kix nodded. "She's speaking in sign language. I had to learn it for my medical exams back on Kamino." He told them as he turned back to the girl. "Can you speak?" He asked gently and Calypso's smile instantly faded as she shook her head. "I see."

The second calypso entered her shared room with her eleven other sisters the chatter between them instantly died. All eleven girls froze to stare at her and whisper as she walked to her bed by the window. The white sheets were soft under her touch and comforted her. Caroline, the eldest, sighed as she watch the youngest sister. She had always acted like the girl's mother ever since their true mother, Queen Dalia, was tragically lost to them. Carolina crossed the room and walked over to Calypsos and sat next to the youngest sister. She instantly picked up Calypso's silver hair brush that rested on a bedside table and began brushing Calypso's long golden hair. "You really should have been more careful, Calypso. You know how much father worries." The mute girl didn't respond. Slowly the conversations between the other girls began to start back up. "Be more careful next time, okay?" Caroline added, dragging the cold brush through her hair. "And please stay within the palace gates." Caroline stated and Calypso's eyes drifted to the window as her sister spoke. She could see the courtyard and the palace gardens. That's when her eyes widened. She could see the same clone troopers from before, waiting idly in the palace gardens as their Jedi spoke with the senator about her meeting. Her eyes searched for find that one clone who could understand her sign language. Kix. Her eyes quickly found him. She turned to her sister and began to sign to her. "Have Miss Turner draw me a bath and prepare my gowns." She informed her. "I want to spend some time in the garden."
The warm soapy water relaxed all of Calypso's tense joints. All the anxieties melted away as the smell of sweet perfumes filled the air. "So missy, what's gotten in to you? Why do you want to go out into the garden's all of a sudden? You usually only prefer to spend spring time in the gardens, not the heat of summer?" Miss Turner asked as she poured a basin of water over Calypso's soapy hair. "Friends in the garden." She signed to her quickly. "Friends?" Miss Turner replied with a raised brow. "These 'friends' wouldn't happen to be those fine clone men you were talking to earlier today, would it?" This time Calypso only responded with a shrug and the maid laughed. "Oh Miss Calypso. Do be careful with your feelings towards such men. They are not for the finer sides of royalty such as yourself." That was the painful truth. She was right. But Calypso couldn't stop thinking of the way that one clone looked at her. How his honey hazel colored eyes looked into hers. Calypso had to see him again she just had to. "Now, your majesty, I did take the freedom to pick out one of your favorite gowns. The blue one with the seashell and flower prints." Miss Turner said as she gestured to the folded clothes by the tub. "Now I suggest we get you all dolled up for these men that seem to be your 'friends'." Miss Turner added with a wink as she helped the girl out of the large tub.
The white shift hung loosely from Calypso's body as her maid helped her dress in her fine clothes. Miss Turner helped the white petticoat over her shoulders and down to her waist where she secured it by tying its silk ribbons around her waist. The next part was not as enjoyable for Calypso and was also her least favorite part. She took in a deep breath as her maid helped her fasted a pale blue corset around her waist and covering her bust. It was tied tightly in the back and made it difficult for the girl to breathe. Next a brown hip pad was added, tied over the corset and around her waist. Calypso didn't care for this much either but it was part of her favorite gown and according to her sisters these things were "the keys to modern fashion on Atla." A second cream colored petticoat was added to her ensemble and Miss Turner made quick work out of tying it around her waist. A third and final light blue petticoat was added and also secured around her waist. Calypso was growing quite tired of the lengthy dressing process but she knew by the time it reached her third petticoat it was nearly over. Finally the decorative part of the gown, pattered with tiny sea shells and delicate flowers, was added over top of the other layers and pinned along her corset to secure it. Miss Turner then moved on to the golden hair of the princess which she had curled into pin curls. She gathered up all the delicate curls and fastened her hair behind her with a decorative barrette. "There you are princess." She said before handing her a small silk fan as an accessory but also for the intense heat. "As pretty as a peach."

Padme waited patiently for her ship to land on the distant world of Atla, a tropical planet which was mostly filled with water save the few islands that dotted it's blue surface. It was these islands that Padme watched grow closer and closer as the ship finally made its way to the planet. "I was told to inform you to prepare for landing." A familiar voice caused the woman to smile. "Ani." She addressed him. "What if this meeting doesn't go as planned? The people of Atla have a history of being hostile." Anakin pressed a small kiss to the woman's forehead. "If anything goes wrong I won't let anything happen to you. There is nothing for you to worry about." He added as he followed the woman's gaze to the planet below. "The senate sent both me and the 501st to ensure everything goes along smoothly. Nothing will go wrong, I assure you." Padme looked at him, her brown eyes looked over the man she loved before she smiled and wrapped her arms around him in a quick hug. "Thank you Ani."
"General skywalker said to prepare for landing, you boys know what that means." Rex addressed his men. "Do you think we'll catch a glimpse of any of the royals?" Tup asked as he followed his brothers to prepare to land. "What do you care?" Dogma snarled. "Shut up, Dogma." Jesse teased. "Besides I heard the king has twelve daughters! Twelve!" Fives cut in. "That's almost enough for each of us to have two." Hardcase joked causing the men to laugh. "Laugh all you want, I don't want any part of your schemes to get too acquainted with the royals." Kix said, checking to make sure he had everything stocked up in his first aid kit. "C'mon, Kix." Jesse said as he brought an arm around him. "Don't be a killjoy." "I'm not." Kix replied cooly. "I'm just not a fan of objectifying women." The counter caused the men to fall silent, guilty of their crimes. "Enough banter, you lot." Rex cut in. "We're needed to escort with landing."
"Can you believe it?" The second eldest of the king's daughters asked with delight as she brought a brightly colored shawl around her shoulders.  "Careful Charlotte," Another sister warned as she ran a silver brush through her hair. "That's one of our best shawls. Please be careful with it." The eldest, Caroline, stated. "Oh hush." Charlotte replied, admiring her reflection in the mirror. "If it's one of our best shawls then this is exactly the right time for me to wear it. It's the first time father has let outsiders into our borders, I better dress to impress if I am to finally meet someone who could be the one." "Not this again." The second youngest, Caitlyn, began with a roll of her eyes. "When are you going to let it go? We are princesses, Charlotte. We're all going to have arranged marriages so please quit with the romanticized dream of finding a handsome nobody to sweep you off your feet." Courtney snapped at the third youngest and Charlotte scoffed, not fazed by the words of her sister. "You're one to talk, Courtney." "No, she has a point." "You all ways think Courtney is right." "Well she is my twin." "Well not all of us can have a twin who shares the same dull mind as us." "Dull mind? I beg your pardon!" "You heard me, dull. D U L L!" "Caydence  you insufferable-" "Ladies Ladies! Please!" Caroline called out, rather loudly causing them to all hush. Caroline, being the oldest, was often found to be mothering her younger sisters. "Wait a moment," She added as she looked around the room they all shared. "Where's Calypso?"
Calypso Canto, youngest of the King's daughters, snuck around another corner of the palace of Atla. The sunlight streamed in through the tall glass windows and kept the marble halls well lit in the early morning. She wanted to be the first to see the visitors to Atla. Being the youngest of twelve sisters, there wasn't much she got to be first in line for, but this time was going to be different. She had managed to wake long before her sisters and dressed herself to her own liking and snuck out of the room before the sun had even risen on their small planet. "Miss Calypso!" The small princess turned to see a maid, a maid she knew rather well. "What are you doing up and ready? Your father hasn't even called for you or your sisters yet." She added, the maid, or Miss Turner, as Calypso knew her, stated. Calypso brought a finger to her lips, urging the woman to hush which she did with a smile. "Oh I see." Miss Turner replied. Calypso then used her hands to sign to the woman. "Up first to see the visitors first." She signed. Miss Turner smiled at the girl. "Off you go then, before anyone else comes looking for you." She ushered the young woman out of sight. "Thank you." Calypso signed before running off again.
