Love the fact that Eternia's nobility is probably so mad at the fact that Miro has a half Gar son who he accepted as part of the royal family. Randor fell in love, married, and had children with an alien instead of a noble. To top it all off, a version of Adora is gay for an Etherian and has a kid with her and Adam and Teela decide to adopt a feral child they found and make him their heir instead.

The name "Keldor" is not used because the name had not been created yet, but the basic character concept is there. Skeletor was the son of the previous King from one of the King's multiple wives.

Skeletor used to be a handsome, normal looking human, just like He-Man. He plotted to take over the Castle from the king, but he was thrown in the the Well of Souls. In the Well the creatures and animals ripped all the skin off his face and make him aware of magic the hard way.

Honestly, all of this was better than the shit-arc DC comics gave Skeletor's mother.

Skeletor’s mother is a sorceress who knows about magic and sorcery. She is a member of the King’s harem alongside He-Man’s mother. It was she, who used her magical abilities to furnish the cap on top of the Well of Souls for the King, so that all the monsters couldn’t get out, unless the King wanted them to. When Skeletor’s mother fought He-Man’s mother, she killed her.

Continuity error?

Randor is already King of Eternia when he rescued Marlena from her crashed shuttle so wouldn't Miro have disappeared by the time Adam and Adora are born?

Later though in King Miro's Journey, Miro claims to have not seen Adora since she was a baby. I could see it if Miro had abdicated and was in and out, but Randor plainly states he had to assume the throne after Miro disappeared.

It would definitely be an interesting met up especially with Catra working for Hordak, arguably the biggest threat to Eternia in the 200x world(since Horde Prime doesn’t appear to be a thing)

Vultures, and their new alpha, the Monarch Vulture.

The Monarch Vulture is a hybrid of the King and Miros Vulture as visually seen. But they’re also infused with the White Lizard’s camouflage abilities to mask their appearance in the sky. The Monarch Vulture was repurposed by Chasing Wind to lead the vultures and even Miros Vultures obey them.

this is legitimately a psychological and sexual trainwreck waiting to happen and i would pay good money to see it. mattdrai could never bc at least mattdrai has a happy ending (matthew is traded.) nate mackinnon is married to the state of colorado and leon draisaitl is married to connor mcdavid. those men aren't going nowhere (until davo goes...places...) they're going to be at war for the rest of their careers. nate loves a bad decision that borders on self-harm and drai loves to follow his dick and not his brain (see again mattdrai). nate can't uneat drai's ass, but he CAN knock drai out of the second round for years on end. drai can't unsuck nate's dick but he CAN beat nate in the face off every. single. match up. asg 2027 pacific versus central they're both so fucked up about each other that davo forces drai to self-medicate with cbd gummies before the game just so he doesn't take nate's head off. cale makar looks at this mess and goes, wow i am NOT dealing with that, and leaves to hooks up with miro heiskanen, so nate is forced to beg gummies off of jack hughes and cole caufield. i just drove off the train off the rails. anyway wherever asw 2027 is i hope it's some place cold so they can sit 6 feet apart in the hot tub the night before asw really starts, bitching at each other until someone gets too horny to keep arguing. cale is trying out various finnish liquors with miro and roope (on god baby we are GONNA get you to the asw someday). his "nathan mackinnon is doing some stupid shit" radar is pinging but miro and roope made a whole finnish treat spread for him. roope wanted to do a science experiment on an albertan and miro missed the faces his fwb makes when he is forced to eat black licorice-flavored foods. cale doesn't want to leave. "i should do something about that," cale sighs. "gabe's gonna get really mad at me if drai gives nate a hickey high up on his neck at the asw again." miro hands him a shot of an entirely black liquor and kisses his cheek. Masters of the Universe characters on She-Ra

(And why it mattered)

So in the 5-part She-Ra pilot/movie, Adora meets the birth parents she never knew about, who try to convince her to stay on Eternia. She chooses to live on Etheria with a princess and hobos she recently met, dedicated to telling the man who raised her “Get out of Etheria’s life!”

The next time her family from Eternia comes up is Ep 13, “King Miro’s Journey”. King Miro, Adam and Adora’s grandfather, is skulking around Eternia’s royal portrait gallery while a tour guide recaps his only previous appearance, “Search for the Past”, in which we learned he’d been a prisoner of the Enchantress for decades.

He goes to find Prince Adam and is like “Hey Adam, I heard my other grandchild has been found. I haven’t seen her since she was a baby. Can we go see her?” So they go to Etheria and have to fight Hordak, embarrassing him in front of an inspector from Horde World.

Sadly, we never get an explanation for humans from Horde World. Just like we never learn anything about Mantenna or Leech’s species (or even IF they were born as baby versions of how they look now).

So here’s the thing... at the end, Adora asks her grandfather “Do you have to go? It seems like you only just got here.” and he gives the weaksauce answer “I’m afraid so, but I’ll come again, as soon as I can. Adora, these have been the most exciting days I’ve ever had. And though I must now return to Eternia, I want you to know that I will return. When the day of your great battle with Hordak comes, call for me. I wish to stand beside my granddaughter on that proud day.” (We never see him again)

Note that he must have abdicated before being taken prisoner by the Enchantress, as Randor was king when he met the twins’ future mother. So Miro has no responsibilities on Eternia post-rescue.

Ep 15, “He Ain’t Heavy”. Shadow Weaver and Hordak use an artifact called the Moon Mirror that can open a portal between universes when the moons are in alignment to abduct Prince Adam, so that Adora will surrender for her brother.

“Gateway to Trouble” (18 or 35). Adam comes to visit via one of the Sorceress of Grayskull’s dimensional portals, as she can make any time. Meanwhile at Snake Mountain, Skeletor is making his scientist henchman Modulok build a machine to open a portal to Etheria.

“Never heard of it,” Modulok says. “I have,” says Tung Lashor, who’s standing next to Skeletor wearing a shirt with the Horde symbol. Yeah, this was a continuity error (until it wasn’t, because King Hiss would summon Tung Lashor and Rattlor from Etheria to Snake Mountain for MotU mini-comics). “That place has been a thorn in my side for years,” Skeletor says. Wait, what? How? All of She-Ra Season 1 takes place over less than a year.

Modulok defects to the Etherian Horde over how Skeletor treats him, hoping Hordak will appreciate his gate maker more. He does, and they open a gate to send a fleet of ships to conquer Eternia.

But She-Ra and He-Man short circuit the gate maker and Modulok can’t rebuild it without rare minerals he doesn’t have access to more of. So Hordak demotes him from Horde Scientist to Horde Cook.

Ep 27, “The Eldritch Mist”. Castaspella scries on Prince Adam and finds him so attractive that she has to physically yank him to Etheria. I guuuess it counts as consensual, since they mutually ask each other out for future dates when she has to portal him home.

Ep 29, “The Price of Freedom”. The Sorceress sends Adam to Etheria for a bit to fight the Horde.

Ep 33, “A Talent for Trouble”. Orko is so incompetent at helping the Sorceress clean Castle Grayskull that he falls through its portal to Etheria. He and Madame Razz immediately get captured by Mantenna, who carts them off to the Fright Zone to be studied by Hordak and Shadow Weaver.

Note that the entire galactic Horde has no idea that Trollans exist, with Orko’s mind even being impervious to a mind-sweeping machine. That seems like an even bigger strategic advantage for Eternia than the magic they used to defeat a Horde invasion the last time. This is also the first time She-Ra and Orko meet, and she kisses him.

Even though she has Sea Hawk by this point and Orko has, in He-Man’s words, “like gotten engaged” to Dree Elle...

Ep 51, “My Friend, My Enemy”. No He-Man this time, just Skeletor, who has somehow gotten here from Eternia without that gate maker.

Ep 55, “Loo-Kee Lends a Hand”. All the Rebels of Whispering Woods get magically Time Stopped, so Light Hope sends Loo-Kee to Snake Mountain to bring He-Man and Orko to Etheria (no, they aren’t there, making Light Hope seem incompetent).

Ep 56, “Of Shadows and Skulls”. Shadow Weaver has learned of her boss’ history with Skeletor and so responds to a round of bullying by opening a portal between Etheria and Eternia by which he can come take Hordak’s place.

“Horde Prime Takes a Holiday” (18 or 58). Hordak, She-Ra and He-Man, and Skeletor fight over Horde Prime’s flagship the Velvet Glove while he’s on a two-week vacation.

Ep 65, “The Greatest Magic”. Adora and Orko spend time together in Whispering Woods, then she gets dragged to Trolla with him.

The Christmas Special came between Seasons 1 and 2, and starts with Adora and her Rebel friends visiting the Royal Palace of Eternia and Queen Marlena saying “Just think, this will be the first time the twins are together to celebrate their birthday with all our family.” (KING MIRO IS NOT IN THE CHRISTMAS SPECIAL), implying that less than a year has passed since she was introduced to the mythos.

So here’s what I’m getting at: Adora can see her parents when she’ll take time off from the Great Rebellion, like for birthdays, but they never come to see her. This holds for Season 2 as well. Adam visits her again in “Day of the Flowers”, “Just the Way You Are”, “She-Ra Makes a Promise”, “Sweet Bee’s Home”, “The Inspector” and “Assault on the Hive”, as do Orko and Man-At-Arms in “Shades of Orko”.

So because King Miro wouldn’t move to Etheria to spend time with his granddaughter, Adora’s only strong connection to Etheria is her brother. From what we see on-screen, she seems to get to know Orko better than her parents.

(Note that Snout Spout and Flutterina were here together, and when Flutterina was “born”, Snout Spout appeared to be living at Castle Bright Moon. In “Day of the Flowers”, Adam tries to return him to Etheria, implying he’s the party guest who never left.)

Meanwhile, if a 65-episode season took place over less than a year, Hordak was attacking to spend time with Adora at least once a week.
