I've actually been getting mostly white eggs from Tesco lately, for a few weeks now. NO idea why and it's so unsettling. I hate opening the fridge and looking at them, eggs should be brown. I didn't realise this would upset me as much as it does but I'm genuinely quite excited to get brown eggs again lol my life obviously is. not very exciting hahah

nooo what the hell man!! I'd be so excited to get a white egg lol I'd see it as on par with getting a double yolk (something that, alas, has also never happened to me). I get mine from Sainsbury's or our local greengrocer's and they're always brown. excited to hear that white eggs are possible in the UK though so I'll be keeping an eye out. they better not turn out to be pale brown. I'll fucking know. I want absolutely perfect American middle class suburban family breakfast scene at the beginning of a subpar police procedural drama level white eggs here. will not accept anything less.
