IDEAS FOR ENSURING THE SOLIDIFICATION OF YOUR MEMORY.

I came across several meditations and mantras , while doing research for my course paper, that are said to prevent the loss of memory if even practiced just once a day!

I think that for what it’s worth, 20 minutes a day isn’t that bad of a sacrifice towards being able to potentially save your mind. I say this, and yet I still have not tried it.

Something that almost goes hand-in-hand with memory is music. It is said that music is the only thing that can be heard universally. So not only is there sort of a “Secret Symphony” that we all subconsciously listen to. But, also we all hear it the same. And a shared perception , as you know, is almost completely unheard of in any other aspect.

It’s also the most common auditory hallucination amongst schizophrenics. (I can remember telling my doctor that I wanted to learn how to recognize music notes as I heard them. I can read music. But still wish I could learn to hear it without looking. Because I hear music in some manner in just about everything almost. If I listen for it . And sometimes it’s beautiful . And it would be really neat to be able to make it tangible for sure.

I used to spin records a lot . I still do on occasion as a stress reliever. But the reasoning to begin with was because it was the closest thing I have come to mimicking or should I say creating my life’s “ Secret Symphony”. )

Music has a way of resonating itself inside a person. Even if the words or the reasoning for the song to have been written in the first place have nothing to do with how you perceived it to be.

The same memory fueled energy will still resonate the same as the experience did for the artist. Just felt from different places . Because of what seems like a universally inherited attachment to the rhythm that allows for our own individual memories to be able to each create their own rhymes.

(I apologize for that turning out to be a little poetic. But it is a cool way of looking at it all. And an my personal contribution towards restoring the “magic”) ;)
