A random headcanon: For Brotherhood Kimblee, Bradley had him “babysit” Pride to give Pride a break from pretending to be a 10 year old. For 2003 Kimblee, Archer would drug him to keep him from going berserk and slaughtering people when it wasn’t necessary (in his eyes at least)

General Opinion over said Character: I really really like Kimblee! In my mind I tend to think of BH!Kimblee and 03!Kimblee as two different characters, so I’m giving my opinion on both. BH!Kimblee is such a good character, presenting a wonderful philosophical foil to our protagonists, he knows what he’s doing is by all sensible definitions awful, but he doesn’t care. Him also pointing out that although the other soldiers are pained by what theyre doing, theyre still doing it. 

03!Kimblee doesn’t have the same depth as BH!Kimblee but honestly I dont think he needed to, I enjoy how instead of being maniacal and calculating he’s just balls to the wall insane. Kimblee in 03 is violence and destruction for the hell of it, because he can and he does. He’s unhinged and violent and it’s great.
