Characters: Naeun, CEO MonJin, Kim Mingyu
Summary: Naeun tries to sneak around with her boyfriend underneath her CEO's nose
Warnings: Sexual content mentioned
Naeun was known by fans as the one who stood out the most because of her personality. She took care of her younger members and had a slight mother vibe to her; she drove them around and made sure everyone got home safe from schedules. She was always helping others and people always said she should do something for herself. But, behind the doors, she was.
Naeun let her hand go into her boyfriend's hair as he kissed down her body, the early morning sunrise giving his body a beautiful orange glow. He looked up at her as he removed her underwear, asking why she looked so nervous, making her gently tug on his hair. He chuckled, holding his hands up in defense before kissing her thighs, slowly making his way into her. "Yah, Kim Mingyu, hurry up."
He let out a gentle chuckle on the side of her thigh, looking up at her as he placed another kiss on her thigh. "What's the rush, Naeun, baby? My mom is on a business trip until Thursday so we have this whole place to ourselves."
"Yeah, but I want to get out of here before one of her staff sees me here. I do not need my boss finding out I'm sleeping with her son."
Yep. She was in a relationship with Kim MinJin's son.
It may seem like nothing, but she could be in real trouble if found out. MinJin had told everyone who commented on her son that he was completely off-limits. She did not want him to date anyone in the company and didn't want anyone in the company to date him. According to Mingyu, it was because she didn't want others to think that they were getting special treatment, but Naeun knew it was because MinJin was overprotective of her son. It was the reason he lived with her in their large penthouse apartment and not by himself.
"If you were so worried about getting in trouble," he whispered, hissing when Naeun tugged him up to kiss her, obliging before saying "then you shouldn't have gotten with me."
It wasn't like she knew he was the Kim Mingyu; they met at a company dinner party, where she got a bit tipsy. As she drank, she got to talking to him when he came over to order some wine and the rest was history. While his mom was giving a speech, he was banging her in a closet down the hall. Instead of it being a one-and-done, the two exchanged numbers and got to talking that way. Only on the third date did he admit to being that Kim Mingyu: the one who was off-limits to the whole company. Naeun did feel sad when he told her, Mingyu agreeing to sneak around with her to make sure that his mom didn't find out.
That was two years ago.
Naeun chose to not respond, kissing him once more to shut him up as he pulled her into his lap. She smiled as her hands moved around his toned body, humming when he began to roll his hips to meet hers. Before he could say anything about resuming what he had started, the click of heels sounded through the penthouse. Mingyu quickly placed Naeun down, rushing to lock the door and throw on PJs while Naeun got dressed. Naeun tossed some clothes at him as someone knocked on the door, causing both of them to pause.
"Mingyu, are you up?" He let out a weak yes, slowly getting dressed as he hoped to not sound so scared at his mom's voice. She tried to open the door, asking why it was locked. Naeun quickly hid in a nearby closet just in case she tried to come in. She covered her mouth as his mom knocked again, Mingyu calmed down before answering the door, smiling at his mom. "Good, you're up. I have some breakfast being delivered to you in a few minutes so eat that before you head to work. I have some meetings at the company." Mingyu nodded, hoping that she would get the hint and leave so he could help sneak Naeun out. His mom, however, didn't and entered the room, picking up the clothes that were strewn around the room. Mingyu quickly stopped her, asking why she was back as he took the clothes from her. "Like I said, I have somethings at the company to do, then I have to fly out to LA."
The conversation was thankfully interrupted by her phone ringing, letting her know that her car was out front. "Please pick up these clothes before you're gone so they can be washed." He nodded as she kissed his cheek before leaving the large penthouse, Mingyu breathed a sigh of relief. He waited a few moments to make sure she had actually gone before he knocked on the closet door, letting her know that Naeun could come out. She peaked her head out before sighing, resting against the door. "Your mom is crazy." Mingyu nodded, wrapping his arms around her body as he kissed her. Naeun felt all of her annoyed emotions leave her at the kiss, smiling when he picked her up, placing her on his desk. Naeun gently pushed him back, telling him that she had to go back to the company before his mom noticed she was gone.
He didn't seem concerned, though, kissing her once more as he pulled her to the edge of the desk, slowly sinking to his knees. "Before you go, I want to finish what I started."
_________________________________________
"I'm on my way up."
Naeun leaned against the elevator wall, excited to spend more time with Mingyu. They had been flirting with each other all day and she now wanted nothing more than to lay in the sheets with him.
As the doors opened, she was met with the CEO's face instead of Mingyu's, making her pause. Standing behind her was a shocked Mingyu, his eyes widening. Naeun bit her lip trying to not freak out as her boss stood before her, along with her forbidden boyfriend. "Oh, Naeun. What are you doing here?" Naeun took a moment to think of an excuse to be at her boss's house at 6pm. "I just wanted to stop by and talk to you. I couldn't find you at the company so I thought I'd just pop by."
"Oh, well, can whatever it is wait? I'm about to have dinner with my son." MonJin smiled at Naeun, oblivious to her son's scared look behind her. Naeun nodded, telling her that it could wait and that she'd see herself out. MonJin, however, stopped her, offering her a seat at the dinner table since she was already there. Mingyu shook his head, mouthing for Naeun to reject and just go home. Naeun smiled before declining, saying that she had to meet her members at a restaurant for dinner.
As the doors closed, Mingyu sighed, going back to set the table as MonJin helped. He hoped that, at least for now, he could keep things with her a secret.

001 … …  (  THE CALLER YOU HAVE TRIED TO REACH...  )
"We're sorry you have reached a number that has been disconnected or is no longer in service. If you feel this is in error, please check the number dialed, and please try again."
CHARACTERS :   BROKEN LINE ENSEMBLE  …   JAMES KIM
WORDS : 1.5k
WARNINGS / NOTES : None. Actually None. Just Angst.
Tumblr media
“We’ve been dismissed?” Sungjin interrupts their CEO, anger clear in his voice. He’s always been angry, especially now a days. Juwon thinks it’s because he’s one of the younger ones, more popular ones, he’s got more fight in him.
James, the incompetent CEO, sighs at Sungjin’s interruption. Juwon thinks he’d be used to this by now.
“For the time being…Yes. There’s–”
“We still have three years left in our contracts,” Sungjin snaps again. He’s got a point there. Their contracts last until 2025 and Juwon’s never seen anyone successfully get out of a Joystar contract. He’s been here long enough to see many try but never succeed. “You’re just gonna let us sit here and rot for three years?”
James shakes his head dismissively at the younger, digging loudly like this is a burden to him.
“No. No, I’m not. You’re all valuable in your own way but as a group…Come on guys, you know where this is going,” The room feels stagnant when James alludes to that. It makes Juwon sigh through his nose as he hears a clicking beside him. Juwon looks up to his side, seeing Lixin nearly nail-bed deep into biting his nails.
Delicately, Juwon pushes the boy’s hand out of his mouth, holding his wrist softly and rubbing the inside with his thumb. Lixin doesn’t say anything, doesn’t even look at Juwon, just balls his hand into a fist a swallows. It’s his way of saying thank you. Juwon knows that by now.
“We’re still valuable as a group,” Juwon speaks, finally, feeling all eyes go to him. “I mean, with my spike in popularity and Emery’s survival show fame. I think we can make a decent comeback. The last one wasn’t awful. Didn’t we sell out?”
“I’ll be honest…I didn’t have that many printed. The streams were pity streams and so were those win. You all went through something horrible–” He’s about to go on that “What happened shouldn’t have happened. None of you deserved to see what you saw.” speech that no one in the room appreciates.
Sungjin groans, putting his hands up, silently begging for him to stop before he even starts.
“Don’t start. Please, God, don’t.” Sungjin’s desperate tone makes Minjin chuckle softly, rubbing his nose as he does so. Minjin could laugh at anything, Juwon thinks.
“It’s just the reality, Sungjin. People don’t want to stan the group with–”
“We get it.” Beau interrupts now, a rarity for him. Juwon imagines hearing anything about Kitae is just as hard for Beau as it is for him. If he wasn’t busy holding Lixin’s hand, he’d rub Beau’s shoulder.
A silence, they all either look at each other or their feet.
“Do we get at least a disbandment release?” Eunhye asks, being one of the few times he’s spoken since they walked into this suffocatingly small office. James sighs, looking down at his cheap plastic IKEA desk. Juwon swallows, giving Lixin a glance. They know what’s about to happen isn’t what they want to hear.
“Well, uh, no. Not exactly because you guys aren’t disbanded. I’m not disbanding you.”
Juwon swears he can feel the heat of Sungjin’s anger sizzle off of him and fill the room, making it unbearable.
“You’re not disbanding us but we’re dismissed? That makes no sense.” Juwon won’t argue. That does make no sense. James sighs, signalling to Juwon they’re about to get another half assed answer.
“Your solo activities will perform better if you guys are technically still together. If you disband, all the fans will go their separate ways and support separate boys but if you guys stay together,” James feeds his fingers together, giving his words a visual, “The fans support all of you. It’s just business.” Then he shrugs.
It makes sense. Juwon gets it and by the way the room is silent, the rest of them get it too.
“So…It’s just over? Like that?” Lixin finally speaks, voice small and drenched in sadness. It makes all the others heads fall, gazes falling to the ground. They all have a soft spot for the youngest, watching and helping him grow up. It’s hard to watch his barely formed career die before it even got a chance to live.
James looks remorseless, not even feigning sympathy for the boy who gave up so much for him and his company.
“Yeah,” Lixin blinks back tears at that cold and blunt answer, “For now, yeah. Broken Line has been dismissed and you’ll all be pursuing solo activities.”
Silence. Juwon silently takes Lixin’s hand into his, sensing the younger needs the comfort. Lixin squeezes Juwon’s hand in return, sniffling softly which only makes Juwon move his hand from Lixin’s to wrap and arm around the boy’s shoulders.
“You’ll still have access to the dorms until your contracts run up. I won’t take that from you.”
“Oh gee, thanks. Bare fuckin’ minimum as usual,” Sungjin snaps, shaking his head as he decides he’s had enough of this. The boy excuses himself, leaving the small office without another word. Everyone seems to swallow at the time, glancing at one another before Eunhye stands, giving James a small bow.
“Thanks.” Then he leaves just as quietly as he came in. After that, the rest of them follow, giving no bows or thank you’s, just silently dismissing themselves until they’re all in the hallway, staggered from one another. The only ones who walk together are Lixin and Juwon, who’s released the youngest from his hold. Minjin isn’t far in front of them, slowly his walk down on purpose so they can catch up.
Minjin sighs when they’re three, looking at the boys beside him then ahead of them at the others who turned down different hallways, some taking the stairs and the others the elevator.
“You think we can make it?” Minjin asks Juwon. Juwon sighs, he knows he’s the leader and everyone has to look to him for guidance but fuck did it suck sometimes.
Most of the time if he’s being honest.
“I think so. I do fine on my own, so does Sung, and Eunnie is getting somewhere.”
“Beau? Me? Ting?” It’s like Minjin has a natural flow, not even having a beat to follow but still somehow staying on beat. Juwon sighs, shrugging. He doesn’t know what those three will do. He thinks Beau could make it on his own but certainly not as a soloist. The guy is talented, no doubt, but is he interesting enough on his own to carry a career like Juwon and Eunhye? Not a chance. Certainly not now.
Minjin is a mixed bag. Charismatic but little vocal talent to back him up, phenomenal dancer however. Maybe he could try rapping or have have some luck in acting. Again, he’s a mixed bag.
They all know Lixin would have to go back home to find any decent success. Even then, his Chinese fan base is limited, Broken Line hardly ever expanded into China enough to get on the ground or market there. He’d have better luck re-debuting somewhere in Juwon’s opinion. It doesn’t feel like James would fight to keep him around, maybe he could get out of the contract.
Who knows? Certainly not Juwon.
“I don’t know, Minjin. I really don’t.”
Minjun sighs when they reach the crossroad of stairs or elevator. Minjin shoves his hands in his pockets, shrugging.
“I’m gonna try to get James to sell my contract. Maybe sell all ours. ‘Work something out,” Minjin is a businessman at heart, Juwon doesn’t know why he wasn’t appointed leader. Juwon nods as Minjin makes his way to the stairs, raising a hand to wave to the others.
“We can talk about it later. See you guys at home,” Minjin says, causing the two others to nod in agreement. Juwon knows he’s not going back tot the dorm, Lixin knows it too. He doesn’t like being there and no one can really blame him.
“You going to Yoonah’s?” Lixin asks once the doors to the stairs close and they’re standing in front of the elevator. Just the mention of the girl makes Juwon feel better, nodding as he puts his hands in his pockets.
“We rented an apartment together,” Juwon admits, causing Lixin’s dark brows to raise in slight suprsie before nodding.
“Nice. That’s where you’ve been?” It’s lighthearted, something both of them need right now. They’re silently grappling with the news they’ve just been given by pretending it didn’t happen. Juwon laughs, nodding.
“Yeah. She’s, um, she’s fun.”
“Fun? Is that what you call it?” Lixin teases, smiling at the elder as he playfully hits his shoulder with a groan.
“She’s fun!” Juwon reiterates, louder and more whinier, making Lixin laugh hitting the elder’s arm in return as the elevator doors open. The both of them step in, standing side by side as Juwon leans forward and presses the button to the garage.
There’s a small silence. Lixin turns his head to Juwon, eyes soft.
“What’s next?” He asks. Juwon looks over at the boy, offering him the best smile he can before putting his arm back around him.
“Not sure, Xin. All I know is,” The elevator doors begin to shut, “It’s you and me.”
“Yeah?”
“Yeah.”

Fibreglass Hearts || 01: Spring
Tumblr media
After the death of his childhood sweetheart Yoongi, Seokjin is struggling to navigate the world.
Then he meets Kim Namjoon, a single dad who turns his world upside-down.
Pairing: Single Dad!Namjoon x Widow!Jin (side pairing of hopekook)
Genre: Strangers to lovers!AU | Romance, Fluff, Soft Smut, a lot of shyness and pining Warnings: character death, talks of mental health, public mourning, mentions of homophobia, discussions of single parenting, Taehyung is a child in this story, minor mentions of depression recovery, smut will be included in later chapters
Tumblr media
Seokjin hates Spring. The sun beaming and luring out all of the families and young couples who never experienced a real responsibility, the flowers in bloom and bugs getting up in everyone’s business, and the kids. Oh god, the kids. If he saw one more child try to climb up the tree outside the apartment and then wail when they can’t get down… well, goodness knows what he’d do.
With a haste sigh slipping past his lips, he gently pushed the key into its lock and gave it a small twist to the right, letting his shoulders sink in relief from the burdensome day the second he stepped into the dimly lit home unit. Seokjin doesn’t call this place home anymore, because home vanished with his love’s final breath. Seokjin hates Spring. Because that’s when he lost Yoongi.
Holding hands with his feline-looking lover as they’d run down the halls to avoid their algebra classes, wrapping their bodies into a neat package and hiding in bathroom stalls to swipe sweet kisses and emitting small giggles at the riskiness of it all, Spring used to be the most melancholy of seasons. From High School to college, and sharing their first home together, the MinJin couple as they were branded by friends, were inseparable and the true definition of romance for so many.
They had everything going for them - Yoongi, a budding producer for a rising label called BIGHIT, and Jin, a fine craftsman with the glass, aspiring with his fiancé’s support to have a studio of his own to create the most delicate line of vases and glassware anyone had ever seen.
“Can you try this one?”
"What about this one?”
"Don’t you think they’re a little too wide?”
“Should this be pink or red?”
"And this one… this one fits a whole bottle of wine!”
Yoongi mused at the questioning and shook his head. “Baby, they’re perfect, because they were made by you.”
And when the Spring ended Seokjin was on top of the world, letting himself into their home with a delicate hum and his anniversary gift for Yoongi; a crystal cat the couple lined with rose petals from their first picnic together, pressed eight years prior to commemorate their college graduation. But within minutes, the glass and the petals were scattered across the floor. Shattered like Seokjin’s heart at the sight of his fiancée’s body limp on the ground.
“It isn’t easy being wheezy” , Yoongi would always joke, the latter’s light-hearted resilience to his terminal illness was something Seokjin could only marvel at, letting the negativity subdude into softer giggles in the midst of breathy coughs of blood. Lung disease was something irrelevant to the duo in their teens, Yoongi’s signs only prevalent in their final year of college, deeming him unable to graduate on time in the Summer and defer to the following Spring. It was a small celebration at home, with the fear of a crowded frat party possibly leading to Yoongi’s weak immune system being attacked from all areas, but it made no difference to the couple as that night he got on one knee, giving Seokjin the promise they’d always shared. Eternity together.
It was two days later that eternity was no more.

Mue Studios
"...They cite choosing an appropriate color palette as an integral part of their artistic process. “As we use the uniform color palette, it enables us to convey the moods, feelings we want to generate. Colors bring a sense of peace, clarity, and even protection, and we believe it is the strongest device to describe subtle emotion...”
-This statement on how Mue studio used colour as a tool to convey and evoke emotions is intriguing, as I can use this in my own works to intentionally create and control what emotion the viewer can feel.
Mue studios works are described as 'visual ASMR'
"exploring blurring the boundary between fantasy and reality"
And creating a "dream like space" or a sort of "virtual vacation.

Nome: Jang Hyerin Faceclaim: Kim Chaewon, Le Sserafim Data de nascimento e idade: 01.08.1999 — 24 anos Gênero: Feminino Etnia e nacionalidade: Sul-coreana, Coreia do Sul

Liminal Space in Contemporary Art
Ferdinanda Florence
Tumblr media
“I’ve always been drawn to liminal spaces, which are slippery, unfixed, and locationally ambiguous—such as the threshold between inside and outside,” writes Ferdinanda, who considers her themes metaphors for life’s paradoxes. “My paintings include agents of liminal space, doorways that both invite and potentially decline access. In the past, my work has focused on exteriors, buildings viewed from across the street or through chain link fence. Slowly, I am making my way inside.”

"Somewhere in the World' is open-ended – leaving the mind to wander and explore in expansive horizons. Meditative and surreal, these pastel planes are the perfect locations to dip into, with peaches and blues blending seamlessly and satisfactorily into one another. gyeongsu, namra and minjin reaction to you ignoring them???? love ur acc btw!!!
?? tf you mean you'll ignore mi-jin? mf will stay mad at you the whole day if you do that lol. not unless you shower her with affections. gyeong-su will just annoy you the whole day and watch you break, from smacking your ass, breathing down your neck and dragging you to cuddle. nam-ra is confused lmaoo but if she know that you're purposely ignoring her, she'll pout and might give the same treatment back until you apologize and promise her to give your undivided attention.
t'is the general idea~
