➩ CLIP #1 PLAYING… 📼
“yn unnie I love watching my demon, im so proud o f you.” yn reads before letting out a squeal and turning to chaewon and yunjin, “they don’t like the show.” she points at them accusingly.
both chaewon and yunjin jump up in defence shouting in over each other as yn glares at them.
“we like the show.” yunjin says explaining to the fans but yn looks away dramatically.
“we just don’t think dohee and guwon should be together.” chaewon adds, “and some scenes are unnecessary.” she says a little more quietly to herself that fans couldn’t hear but yunjin could and nodded rapidly in agreement.”
“attack them.” yn demands the comments, the fans immediately listen to the girl, attacking the two other members.
➩ CLIP #2 PLAYING… 📼
“pink looks nice on you yn,” the interviewer said to the girl, this whole interview it was like she was only person he could focus every time he was talking to another member he would find a way to drift the conversation back to yn.
“oh, thank you, it always looks good on me.” yn smiles, “I like to think pink is my colour.” she responds as he nods in response telling her that it very much is.
chaewon looked at yunjin who looked back at her with the same expression on her face,as he continued the conversation with yn like the other girls weren’t there
“I finally watched the glory, you playing young yeonjin really freaked me out, you were so good.” he says as yn smiles at the compliment, “you should definitely give me acting lessons, im think im gonna get into acting.”
“oh then you probably need it.” yn responds and he lets out a laugh like she said the most funniest in the world.
the camera pans to yunjin and chaewon who both have faces scrunched up at the man.
➩ CLIP #3 PLAYING… 📼
“red isn’t my colour.” yn mumbles to herself in disgust adjusting her pink sunglasses, but everyone could pick up on it as the girls stood in grass under the summer heat.
“every colour is your colour.” yunjin responds putting her arm around the restless girl as the host announces the next game, chaewon side eyes them clearing her throat.
“it’s hot in both ways, im sticky, im in this ugly red, i don’t like running-” the girls rant gets cut off when her name is shouted asking her to come in the middle.
yn turns to chaewon with pout but the leader just laughs as taps the girls cheek as yn groans and walks into the middle coming face to face with yeonjun.
“you two will be doing a staring contest.” the host starts, “so yn you’re gonna have to take off those nice looking sunglasses.”
“staring is a sport?” the girl asks sassily as people laugh at her obvious dislike for this hybe caterers thing it was amusing to all of the groups.
“in this it is.”
yn groans and turns to look at members who laugh at the girls distress especially eunchae and sakura.
she brings the glasses to rest on the top of her head and stands closer to the txt member fixing her gaze on him.
he steps closer to her as well, a little too close for two certain girls comfort.
“im not liking this.” yunjin whispers to the leader who nods in agreement.
“are staring contests supposed to this close?” chaewon says out loud causing people to laugh be she was being dead serious.

The views and actions of these characters do not reflect the real Stray Kids in any way shape or form. This is all for fun let’s keep it that way please.
You should have known better. All those hushed conversations your parents have been having, all the phone calls your father excused himself to take, even the trip to your packs doctor for a very extensive physical. None of it set off your mental alarm bells and that made you feel so stupid. But how could you have known that your own parents, the people who raised you and were supposed to have your best interest at heart, were planning on selling you off to the highest bidder once you became mature enough.
That's life for omegas these days, though. After a worldwide virus a few decades ago, omegas just stopped being born. The virus wiped the gene out almost completely, leaving a very small percentage of omegas left. Unluckily for you, you happened to be the only omega born in your area in the last 40 years. That made you highly sought after by alphas, especially dangerous ones.
Your hands were still shaking. It had been hours since you escaped your parents house in your car, yet you couldn't get your hands to stop shaking with the immense adrenaline you’re feeling. You had no plan, no money, nowhere to go and no one to help you. Your only friend, Ash, was a beta girl in your pack and as much as you liked her you knew she could do nothing to save you now. At least your car had a full tank of gas, the only good thing your father had done for you was allow you to drive to Ash's house on occasion.
All the adrenaline was starting to wear off as you drove, the realization of what this would mean for you and your life now starting to sink in. The constant looking over your shoulder, the uneasiness you will always feel, it was almost too much to handle. No. What would have been too much to handle is letting that filthy man get his hands on you. Kim Hongjoong. You had heard about the things that alpha had done to claim power over his pack. From sabotage to murder, none of it was good. From what you could gather he was on the search for an omega to complete his pack and somehow had heard whispers about you. The only known omega within a few hundred miles. He wanted an omega to raise his children and help him lead his pack and would do anything to get his hands on one; whatever necessary.
You imagine the sum of money he offered your parents was just too good for them to pass up on. Your alpha father was too proud to accept anything less than a hefty amount. Your mother was an omega through and through. Obedient and submissive to her alpha. Just as she raised you to be. She herself was a rare omega. Though back in her day the omega population wasn't as low as it is now. Now the numbers have fallen to less than 0.2%. Your mother molded you into the perfect little doll. Almost. Never in your wildest dreams did she or your father imagine you, their doll, would be disobeying and running from all you had ever known, yet here you are. That's what real fear does to a person. Fight or flight. All your life you had been all bark and no bite. Now this is your way of biting back.
All you had to your name was this old car (technically your fathers), an old backpack with a few changes of clothes, and couple cans of spaghetti o’s. Luckily this car had an old map in the glovebox. Better than nothing especially since you had no gps and no phone. You knew better than to take the main roads. Your pack would undoubtedly be looking for you and the car. Back roads it was then.
You couldn't tell exactly how many hours you had been driving at this point, too caught up in your mind to really pay attention to the time but by now it had gotten very dark and you found yourself on this old road going through a small town in the woods. You vaguely remember passing through the small community about half an hour ago. Of course you hadn't stopped in the town in fear of being noticed or recognised somehow. But now you’re wishing you had stopped at that little gas station and at least tried to get an ounce of gas with the spare change left in the middle console. The car was officially running out of gas. In the middle of nowhere. Just your luck.
“Are you serious?” You asked no one with tears starting to fill your eyes.
Feeling the difference in the vehicle causes you to pull off to the side of the road with a groan. You know it won't be going any further with the way it just gives up there on the side. Turning off the car and leaning your head against the wheel you let out a light sob. This wasn't the life you had envisioned for yourself. Once upon a time you thought one day you would meet your true mate, a caring alpha who would love you for you and want to make you happy. Seems as though that was just a fairytale after all. Even your parents weren’t true mates. They just settled for each other. You knew you couldn’t let that be you. You wouldn’t settle, especially not for a vile man you didn't love.
It was too late now to leave the car. This is where you will be staying for the night. Good thing it was late spring and not winter or you would freeze out here. Once your tears have slowed and the sobs have ceased you took a deep breath to calm yourself.
“You will be ok.” You repeat to yourself a few times. “You will be ok. You will be ok.”
Will you though? It didn't matter. You had to be. With one last sigh you locked the doors and climbed into the backseat of the old car. Its seats were worn and uncomfortable but it somehow felt comforting. It felt like the last remaining bit you had from childhood. When things were simple for you. Were things ever that simple as you remembered it being though? Before presenting as an omega when you were 16 things were definitely simple. You had assumed along with everyone else that you would be a beta and go on to have a normal life. Sure sometimes you were a little agreeable and always had a gentle nature, but you had just thought you took after your mom in that aspect. Little did you know you would take after her in a different way. It wasn’t until you presented that it made sense to the pack why you were that way. It was then that the looks began from other pack members. The way their eyes would linger on you a little too hard. The way their nostrils would flare when you entered a room. It made your skin crawl thinking back.
From that point on there was no more public school for you. You were homeschooled the last few years of high school for your protection. “We're doing this to protect you not punish you, Y/N.” your father had said when he forbade you from going back to school. “You can't trust anyone these days. Not around an omega.” He was right. The thought never crossed your mind that you couldn't even trust your own parents. You wished you had been born a beta like your sister, or even an alpha like your brother. Being the youngest out of three you figured you would be like them.
The worst part was you didn't have the suppressants you had been taking since you were a teen. They were almost impossible to come by normally, but your father had somehow gotten his hands on a steady supply and had been forcing you to take them. Another thing that was for your protection. To keep alphas from detecting you by scent. You hadn't taken any this morning before you left so you imagine your scent was going to start leaking out for any one nearby to smell. Great. Another problem for tomorrow.
Adjusting yourself on the seat to lay down as much as you could, you closed your eyes and focused on your breathing. It wouldn't be long before sleep overcame you. The exhaustion of the whole ordeal catching up with you.
__________________________________________________________
The sun peaking through the trees awoke you from your surprisingly restful slumber. It seemed to be early morning if the dew on the windows was any indication. Peeking out the window you saw nothing around. Not even any animals. Perfect. You slowly unlocked the door and crept out quietly shutting the door behind you. Taking careful steps a few yards into the thickets ahead of you and relieving yourself helped you feel a little better. You made your way back to the car and took a second to breathe. In and out. In and out. The air was crisp and refreshing and helped you clear your head.
Now feeling a little better you noticed how bad your stomach was growling at you. Reaching into the trunk of the car you pulled out a small can of spaghetti o’s. Not your first choice of a meal but when you panic you grab what you figure will be easiest to take with you. Plus you could use a can as a weapon if needed!
Eating was the last thing on your mind yesterday, but now you knew you could no longer put it off. Popping a can open and taking a seat on the hood of the car with a spoon you dug into the food. It was….. food . Cold and disappointing but at the same time satisfying as you had an empty stomach.
There you were, sitting there on the old car contemplating your next move from here with now a half full can of disappointment, when you catch a scent in the air getting stronger with each passing second. It was another person, no it was people. More than one.
Fuck
You have been found. Whether by the packs that were after you or by a stranger it didn’t matter all you felt was terror.
There was no time to flee. Before you could even move from the hood you could feel a pair of eyes on you to the right of you. You twist your head to face the eyes that are peaking out at you from the trees ahead.
The stranger takes a tentative step towards you and comes out from hiding and you immediately go into fight or flight.
With an alarmed shout “NO”, you launched the half full can of spaghetti o’s at the intruder, hitting him square in the chest and sending the cold contents all across his shirt.
“What the fuck?!” the possible assailant yelled.
Spotting another figure approaching the first one you threw yourself back off the hood and onto the ground, then as quickly as possible you yanked the door open to the car and jammed yourself in locking it immediately. You made yourself as small as possible as to not be seen by them but you knew the damage had been done. There was no way out of this. No gas in the tank and even if there was you had no idea where your keys had gone.
You could hear them talking but you were too frightened to pick up any of the words except girl, mess and Alpha. Now you really felt terror. Without realizing how close they had been to you, you let out a shriek when there was a sudden knock on the window next to you.
Not daring to look at them for even a second you yelled through the glass “Please go away! Please please I don’t deserve this!” tears filled your eyes.
__________________________________________________________
The smell of your distress was making Seungmins and Jeongins eyes water. They had never experienced such a powerful scent before. Not even the odor from the Spaghetti Os covering Seungmins shirt would distract from the one coming from within the vehicle. The beta wanted to be mad that she had pretty much assaulted him, but at the same time couldn’t find it within himself to care much given how much pure terror he smelled coming from the young woman. The omega.
The young alpha Jeongin felt similarly now that he had eyes on her he felt this overwhelming urge to protect. He had never encountered one before and honestly thought he never would but now that he was laying eyes on her he felt his alpha side perk up. A part of him never wanted to stop looking at her.
Honestly the boys didn’t know what to expect when they came out here to investigate the scent that had appeared on their land late into the night. They truly didn’t expect the cause to be an omega girl that was holed up on the side of a path.
Seungmin tried knocking again, a little more timid this time so as not to frighten her more. “Excuse me, we could smell your distress. Do you need any help?” He asked slowly.
You spared him one quick glance then shrunk into yourself again. “No thank you, please go!”
He sighed and stepped back a few feet to look at Jeongin in amazement at the situation.  Giving him one small nod he said “ We need to call Chan.”
__________________________________________________________
What felt like hours, but was probably only a few minutes, passed and you stayed in your same position. The boys had remained there but not so close to the car anymore to which you were thankful. They were quietly mumbling amongst themselves, no doubt about an omega being caught out here alone. Every so often you would move your head just slightly to peer over at them. You hadn’t noticed before in your initial panic but they were pretty cute young men. A beta and an alpha from what you could tell. Even covered in your thrown breakfast (a shame about that really) they still managed to carry themselves proudly. Though your smell is causing their faces to scrunch up, you could tell it was taking it's toll on them.
Not even a moment later after taking another look at them you could feel the change in the air as another pair of people was approaching. Not just anybody was coming this way, it was an Alpha. A very strong one at that. The smell was starting to permeate all of your senses and was quickly becoming intoxicating.
You could sense him before he even appeared. No matter how intrigued you may be though you can’t show weakness.
‘Keep your head down and wait it out’ you kept telling yourself like a mantra.
You knew he was approaching your door. It took everything in you to remain still. Then as if struck by lightning you felt your body alight like it never has before.
“Omega..”

Could you do Katie mccabe where Katie sees r always gets like picked on during matches and she's finally had enough so she tries to teach you to stand you to people but reader gets a red card cus it gets quite physical
shirt tugs II k.mccabe
you grunted as once more you went slamming down onto the pitch, your legs flying out from beneath you as your back thumped onto the grass and you took a moment to catch your breath, letting out a wheeze.
"you alright??" alessia hovered over you in concern as you nodded, holding a hand up that you just needed a moment as she stepped back to give you some space, both caitlin and stina doing the same.
"ah come on ref that's bullshit she took her fucken legs out!" you heard an all too familiar accent yell angrily as you slowly got back to your feet.
"katie it's not worth it, please! i'm okay, i promise." you assured, inserting yourself and pushing on your girlfriends chest to get her to back off with a pleading look.
she glowered at the ref behind you who was speaking with the number twenty who took you down, though no cards or penalties were awarded.
"mccabe! cool it, you're already on a yellow." kim warned seriously as she appeared by your side, katie puffing air out of her nose angrily but storming off as the whistle blew to signal the end of injury time and the first half.
"you okay? you're taking a flogging out there." jen slung an arm over her shoulder walking off the pitch with you as you sighed and nodded. "gonna have some bruises to show for my efforts tomorrow, that's for sure." you shook your head, shoving the taller girl who made a comment about katie kissing them better.
you sat through the half time talk listening intently, nodding along as you sipped at your water and forced a gel down with a wince, well aware of your girlfriends eyes burning into you.
"what?" you turned to her as jonas finished talking, a few more minutes remaining as he began to go over some new tactics with his intended subs. "why do you let them do that to ya?" she huffed, crossing her arms over her chest.
"oh yes i let them push me down babe, in fact i welcome it!" you rolled your eyes, going to stand as she slid in beside you and tugged you back down. "darlin i don't mean like that, but you never fight back or stand up for yourself, or argue to the ref!" she spoke a little more calmly now, concern clear in her eyes as you squeezed her knee in appreciation.
"there's no point wasting energy on that. if the ref doesn't call it as it happens chances are they won't anyway, no point in holding up game play for a silly argument." you smiled softly, melting katie a little but the concern didn't dissapear from her eyes.
"well the more you don't react the more they'll do it if they get away with it. cmon let me teach ya something. pelova! come here." katie called across the change rooms to the younger girl who appeared with a confused frown.
"right. so lets say i'm you, and vic here is the opposition whose just tackled ya!" katie stood and began to explain, giving the dutch girl a murderous look as she attempted to take her down.
"if the ref won't call it, you get back up to your feet, face your opponent and-" she suddenly lurched forward, grabbing the back of vic's top and forcefully pulling it up and over her head.
"see!" katie grinned clearly proud of her work as you shook your head, helping vic get herself free as she swore at your girlfriend in dutch, shoving her and storming off.
"are you trying to get me sent off?" you laughed, playfully knocking your boot into her shin pad. "nah just tryna make you smile, worked a charm!" she sat back down beside you, leaving a sloppy kiss on your cheek as you playfully punched her shoulder.
"but seriously baby, stand up for yourself. if they aren't being carded for a push or a shit tackle you're not gonna be carded for a few cheeky insults or a returned favour. i've seen ya angry i know it's there, and it's very hot." katie whispered the last part in your ear making you smile as the two of you stood, following the others back onto the grass.
as the half resumed once again any time you had the ball it seemed a pair of boots would fly at you, and time after time if it wasn't your ass thumping down onto the pitch it was your stomach, your uniform stained green and your patience very slowly thinning.
there seemed to be two repeat offenders, both defensive wingers you'd come across at national and club level, and given you'd scored the only goal of the game so far and watched them converse closely with the coach during the break, you figured it wasn't a coincidence you were being targeted.
alessia was too, the two of you seeming to spend more time on your assess than your feet this half, and you could feel the teams frustration that there had been no fouls given building.
with both teams now becoming increasingly pushy and aggressive, the referee very close to losing control of the game if she didn't start to at least pull out some more yellows.
and sure enough, that's exactly what happened.
once again you found yourself with a perfect cross in from wally making a beeline for the goal, dribbling around two players with easy and making a break for it. until suddenly someone slammed into you from behind, clipping your ankles and sending you practically into a forward flip as your head smacked against the ground.
the ringing in your ears was nothing compared to the uproar from the crowd and your team mates as a full on shoving match ensured between both teams in the middle of the pitch.
you watched on as you slowly sat up, the same number twenty from before sending you an amused smile as she began to walk away, and you couldn't quite tell what came over you but something did, and you'd finally had enough.
puffing air from your nostrils angrily you jumped to your feet, ignoring the mounting tension and pain in your neck, storming over to the twenty and shoving her in the back as she stumbled forward.
you noticed a few of your team mates attention switch to you at the out of character action, but you weren't done yet. the roars of the crowd thumping in your ears you leapt forward, grabbing the back of the girls shirt and pulling it over her head, pushing her forward so she fell back onto the pitch.
you felt hands grab at you from behind and turned around to swing, jen grabbing your hand in hers with a shocked look as you winced hearing a shrill whistle in your ear. and then suddenly, you really were seeing red, the card held high in the air as every ounce of anger deflated instantly from your body and you crumpled.
"mate what happened why did-" jen started to ask as you shook your head, cheeks burning with embarrassment as you tugged your hand away and began to walk off the pitch with your head hung low.
suddenly arms were slung around you again as you glanced up, your girlfriend on one side as alessia was on the other, it would appear it had been a triple booking.
the three of you entered the change rooms, alessia disappearing to shower as you sat down rubbing your temple, stretching your neck which was growing more sore as each time passed.
"well, i did sort of tell ya to do that." the irishwoman grinned, kicking off her boots and sitting back with a proud smile as you rolled your eyes, rubbing your neck, your girlfriend pushing your hands away and telling you to wait for the therapist.
"plus, once we get home i'll give ya a little special massage, as a congratulations for my girls very first red card."

party monster
Tumblr media
pairing ↠ best friend!jennie x (f) reader (but not really)
genre .. warnings ↠ smut, thoughts of noncon, sub!jennie, oral, noncon recording, monsterfucking
summary ↠ for years you’ve crushed on jennie kim, your best friend, the queen of queens, the party monster. but it seems that you’re not exactly her type.
wc ↠ 3.3k
a/n ↠ this is my first time writing this kind of fic in 6 months so i am unfortunately quite rusty…
don’t like it, don’t read.
she looked like royalty on top of him.
you couldn’t deny it - you could never deny jennie anything. how could you? she was funny, enchanting, downright beautiful, and she was your friend of many years.
your best friend, to be exact. it was a title you were proud to claim, one you had never taken for granted. you had always been there, whether she needed to laugh or she needed to cry, and you would always be there for whatever she needed.
but apparently, she didn’t need you for this.
it was not your intention to find her this way, to be fair. in your search for an empty bathroom, chance had led you to the one connected to the bedroom your best friend and her boy toy occupied. you had only come here in need of relief, but in her own way, jennie yearned for something similar.
yet so different all at once. you knew her voice when it came to your ears, even if it was at a pitch and with a breathlessness you had never quite heard, and your curiosity had gotten the better of you. they must have been too lost in the haze of their arousal, because they never seemed to notice they’d left the bathroom door open for all the world to see.
and you did see. you saw her on top of this nameless boy, her cashmere dress in a heap on the floor, sweat gathering at her soft skin and glimmering in the moonlight like precious pearls. you saw how pleasure took her by its gnarled hand, her lips crying the cries of angels. you saw how his greedy hands were all over her, touching her, surely not knowing just how lucky he was.
you could only stand there, trembling with the intensity of an emotion you had never known this deeply. there was a hot throb in your chest as cruelly it tightened, and in the same moment you could hear this nameless boy swearing about how tightly she was wound around him.
in that moment, she had taken a form you had never seen of her before, becoming a thing so violently unknown to you, and all you could think about was how none of it was for you. it was certainly not the first time she’d whored herself out to someone that wasn’t you, but seeing it happen in front of you was different than being regaled on the tales.
those boys were faceless, something you could convince yourself never existed as you pictured only jennie’s cries of ecstasy. even now, this nameless boy wasn’t so nameless anymore as you heard it fall brokenly from her lips.
but it’s okay, you consoled yourself, turning away from the door. you could fix her.
that had been three months ago at least. you were still doing everything in your power to come up with something to salvage your broken heart with, in spite of already knowing jennie got around, but you had come short of viable options.
and like that fateful night all those months before, you were at another party, because nights in new york were when party monsters like jennie came to life. and as to expected of her, she’d strutted inside sporting this lacy dress, the same vibrant red color as her lips.
she was stunning in red.
it was something you had told her more than once. you took your role as jennie’s best friend as though you were the queen’s aide, and in a way, that wasn’t so far from the truth. she was the queen of queens, the party monster, and a woman of her caliber had to look nothing less than like art at every party she set foot on.
that red cashmere dress lived in your head. you had been the one help her decide, and yet some boy had been the one to take it off.
“hey, where’s jen?” rosé asked, poking her head around the corner.
“no idea,” lisa said, finishing what was left of her exquisite wine.
the two girls glanced toward you. of course they did; you were jennie’s best friend. apparently, you were supposed to know what she was up to at all times.
you sighed, peeling yourself off the sofa and sitting your drink on the table. “i’ll look,” you started. “but if she’s somewhere getting dicked down again, you’re going to make an enemy out of me.”
rosé blew you a kiss. “thanks, beautiful.”
“yeah, yeah,” you grumbled, giving your drink one last longful glance as you stepped out of the room.
you took a guess that rosé had come from the main hall and if she hadn’t scouted jennie there, then there was a fair chance she was in one of the upstairs rooms. getting dicked down, you thought disheartenedly, but you searched nonetheless.
you had only seen her that way once and it was something you surely never wanted to see ever again. the memory of the thunder in your chest still lingered and maybe the feeling itself hadn’t exactly faded.
what would it take for her to understand that she was yours? she may not have realized it yet, but you were everything she needed. you could please her in ways she’d never imagined, take her to heights that’d never before been.
you stilled when you heard her voice, almost walking straight past the door. it was of some kind of relief that there were no moans, and she seemed to be quietly chatting about something. with the door barely open, you slipped inside, hoping that it wouldn’t creak.
it took all of two seconds to recognize her, standing at the edge of the bed, but there were no words to describe the horror on your face when you saw the thing next to her.
deep black in color, draped in some slick, indigo substance that coated it smoothly, and towering two feet over her. teeth that could kill with one slight graze. it didn’t look of this world. and yet, jennie didn’t seem afraid; she looked exasperated.
“i thought i told you to stay home,” she hissed, glaring up at the creature. whatever the hell it was.
the alien-like creature seemed indifferent, from what you could make of its features. “hungry,” was all it said.
jennie didn’t seem impressed. “you were fed before i left.”
“hungry,” it repeated, raspier, brushing a long finger down her dress.
jennie slapped its hand away, shaking her head. “no, not here. there’s people, carnal.”
carnal said nothing, overcome by a need that went beyond the bounds of human desire, and returned its finger to her dress. for a second, you thought that it would tear it to shreds, but instead it unzipped the back quicker than she could dispute.
you could hear her whining, but carnal was intent on taking and little would come between that purpose. jennie gasped when it took her by the arm and tugged her onto the floor, silently demanding in its approach, all the while her pretty red dress was tossed into oblivion.
for whatever reason, the sight hadn’t troubled you like it did not too many moons ago. it intrigued you. part of you wanted to emerge from the cloak of the shadows to rescue her from this creature, but the other wanted to watch and see how this would unfold.
jennie’s eyes burned fiercely of ire. “i won’t do it.”
carnal glanced down at her and you swore the sight gave you shivers, but jennie didn’t move. “no?”
“no.”
you had to restrain yourself from gasping when carnal grabbed jennie by strands of hair at the back of her head. it forced her mouth onto its cock, a death grip on her tresses. her whimpers of protest were muffled, meaningless little sounds that no one would bother to hear.
it would be a lie to do otherwise, and thus you had to confess to yourself that you were bemused by the sheer size of its girthy cock. jennie could hardly fit anything an inch longer than the tip into her mouth. it stroked her limits, sped right by them.
but the part that bemused you even further was how after a minute or three, jennie didn’t seem to hate it. there was no way in hell your eyes were making up the way she sucked in every bit she could take, eagerly bobbing her head.
the muffled cries waned into muffled moans, and for no good reason. no efforts were being taken to please her in return. she was this meek little thing on her knees before an otherworldly creature with a name far too apt.
carnal did not react too strongly, but you had to assume that jennie’s potent greed did a number on it. she wasn’t going anywhere, yet the death grip on her hair only got tighter. what she couldn’t fit between her stained lips, she took in her hands and kneaded between her supple fingers.
your mind was everywhere and nowhere at the same time, stretched across a plane of thought. you were strangely immersed in the horrors in front of you, but your questions wandered. every moment that passed, you wondered if maybe you’d had a little too much to drink.
this was a dirty little secret that even you never knew your best friend had. you couldn’t even begin to fathom how this strange creature could be more than a figment of imagination, and you decided that it wasn’t. it would spare you the headache.
you could see the indent on jennie’s hollowed cheeks, hear the wet noises coming from her lips. perhaps it was stranger that you didn’t hate it. only moments ago you had been prepared to curse whatever idiot of a boy you found her with, and now you were quieter than a mouse.
jennie looked like a pebble at its feet. the beast was more massive than you cared to admit aloud, with a strength that spoke for itself, and a cock that promised total destruction and not anything less. it must’ve been part of the allure for her, because you had never seen her so eager.
and why would she be? the queen of new york city herself never had to ask for anything twice, if at all. it would be an honor for anyone to behold her bare form, but none of that power manifested here in this bedroom. she was sucking carnal off like a common whore begging for a dollar.
your memories reeled back to some instances, not many but a few, where you had noticed her visibly adjusting herself after what you could only assume had been a brief sexcapade in a closet somewhere. and for a moment you stopped to wonder if those faceless people you imagined her with had not been boys, but this damned beast.
it almost made you angrier, trying to fathom how this thing had better chances than you did at pursuing her, and all it took was a little force. had you known that, you would’ve staked your claim to her already.
greed was heavy in the air and you saw carnal seize control after allowing jennie to do as she pleased with it, fucking her mouth harder than she could manage. you couldn’t help but be aroused at the sound of her harshly choking. but she didn’t give up, taking every thrust.
quiet sounds escaped carnal’s mouth, raspy to the ears. it did not have much to say, you’d noticed, and it didn’t need to say much either. you could tell that they’d done this countless times before, because they slipped into this as though it was routine.
maybe you were making it up in your mind, but you could’ve sworn that the room had soared a thousand degrees hotter. part of it was ire on your end, but you couldn’t deny the ache in your core. to see her this way, meek and pliant, brought out an insatiable hunger within you.
by the second carnal’s thrusts were becoming more erratic, its self control seemingly unraveling hard. you were impressed that jennie hadn’t begun to choke again, in spite of the relentless pace. you were certain her jaw strained from the effort, but she still made herself a perfect little toy.
you recognized the brink of ecstasy when you saw it and carnal was at the very cusp. its groans even became a little louder, coming from the back of its throat. the only other thing you could hear was labored breathing and the wet smack of jennie’s lips.
you wouldn’t have wanted to cum that way, you would have wanted to be buried every inch deep between her legs, but after a short moment, the thrusts came to a still and carnal growled. given your angle and the darkness, it was hard to see, but you partly saw the leftover cum she couldn’t swallow drip from her chin.
jennie pushed her mouth off, wiping her lips. her naked chest was heaving for breath. when she stood, you could see the shimmer of tears in her misty eyes. she looked like a train wreck.
not a moment later, carnal tore her towards the bed and she gave a high squeak of surprise. your gaze was fixed to her every movement. on the bed, carnal hoisted her into the air as though she was featherlight and sat her over it. jennie reached for its shoulders.
but carnal, on the other hand, had reached for something else. to your surprise, it began to lubricate her comparatively smaller cunt with its own indigo slick. jennie whimpered, arching into its long, thick fingers as they ran across her folds. there was no doubt that she had become aroused simply by pleasuring this creature, and you could only imagine the ache in her core.
it must’ve been similar to yours. this incessant throbbing that yearned to be soothed; a hunger to touch or be touched.
“carnal,” jennie whined. “please, please…”
carnal didn’t seem to be listening to her borderline anguished cries of desperation, its fingers stretching her cunt open, almost like it was preparing her to take something much larger. but nothing was enough for an insatiable little minx like jennie.
“i don’t care if it hurts,” jennie added, to your shock. “i just want you to fuck me. please, carnal?”
carnal slipped its fingers out of her lubricated pussy and jennie made a noise of discontent at the emptiness, in spite of it being what she had asked for. it was too dark to be certain, but you swore that for half a second, there was a dark gleam of hunger in its heavy eyes.
the alien-like beast hoisted jennie up in a single arm and steered its cock to her entrance in the other. it was still stiff in its palms, and you got the feeling that it would take far more than one orgasm to sate a beast of its nature.
it didn’t seem to be concerned with taking its time or allowing her room to adjust to the stretch, but the look on jennie’s face told you that it was what she wanted. there was pain on her lips and pleasure in her eyes, the two being bred into something lethal.
“oh my god,” jennie moaned, tightening her grip on carnal’s shoulders.
carnal grasped her hips, using her as though she was merely some kind of toy rather than a human capable of being wounded. it lifted her up and down its thick shaft, leaving her to do nothing but squeeze her eyes shut and hold on for dear life.
you swallowed hard. when she was being used by a beast two times her size and infinitely stronger than herself, your best friend looked less and less human. she didn’t look like something worthy of respect or dignity. had you not known any better, you would’ve thought she was just some whore.
this was something that you had never seen, something different than before; when you saw her then, she was taking her power, but seeing her now, all of it had been reaped from her body.
deep, guttural grunts escaped the back of carnal’s throat as it rutted into her savagely, at a rhythm that rendered her thoughtless. jennie’s tears stung her eyes yet she kept babbling incoherently, addicted to the agony. there were red lines on her skin from where its nails had dug into her, but from how tight she clung to it, carnal was bound to have plenty of its own.
maybe in some sick, twisted way, the pain and the fear heightened the sensations of ecstasy that it tugged her nearer to every second of every minute. there was no pleasure without pain, and the promise of both had tempted jennie far beyond the point of no return. she was a fiend, you realized, for things that were bad for her.
somewhere in the midst of your astonishment of watching your best friend getting railed by nothing less than an unworldly beast, you remembered your anger, your frustrations. a thought a struck you then, selfish in nature, but bound to work in your favor.
you pulled your phone from your rear pocket and opened the camera, getting it to focus on the two unlikely partners that were showing one another other worlds. if jennie knew you had proof of this tryst, she wouldn’t turn you down for anything. you weren’t sure why you hadn’t thought of the idea sooner.
jennie threw her head back, calling out for carnal. “harder,” she whispered.
carnal silently obliged, but it appeared more like it had lost whatever remained of its self-restraint. jennie’s sounds became louder then, higher in pitch, and you couldn’t miss the way her brows furrowed together.
your camera didn’t, either.
the sound of sex filled the room at an unfathomable intensity. there was a very obvious wet, slick squelch of their skin meeting that anyone could have heard if they walked just shy of the door. jennie’s cunt had already been drenched with arousal on its own, but the addition of carnal’s slick didn’t help.
you almost couldn’t stand it and that feeling was inexplicably amplified knowing that whatever this thing was she surrendered herself to wasn’t even human. but you were embraced by the comfort that you would be its place soon, whether she wanted it or not.
you were imagining it. if you closed your eyes and listened only to the sound of jennie’a pretty little voice, you could picture that it was you she was making all those pitiful sounds for.
“fuck, i’m so…,” jennie trailed, unable to even get the words off the tip of her tongue.
but she didn’t need to say it. carnal saw it. you saw it. hell, anybody half as curious as you were could have been right here, about to witness it. she was on the brink of climax, the cusp of ecstasy, and it was unkind.
and as much as it angered you, you couldn’t bear to tear your eyes away for a minute. you had to know what it was like, to see her truly unravel, to lose herself in the highs of pleasure and the throes of sex.
jennie brought a hand to her naked chest, pinching her own nipple. you could see moonlight shimmering on the beads of moisture that clung to her, dancing on the misty haze of lust in her eyes.
it was at that moment you saw the party monster for what she really was. the intensity at last was too much for her to handle and jennie shuddered with climax, her eyes rolling to the back of her head and her toes curling. she cried out the prettiest whimper, singing a name that wasn’t yours.
and somehow none of that mattered, because the beast she let ravage her wasn’t finished. it tossed her onto the bed and continued, fucking her like an animal, like a monster.
you had seen enough. you had what you needed. with the promise of satisfaction vying against the contempt simmering deep within you, you slipped out where you had came.
too soon to see her eyes fade pitch black.

“Oh my God, Adam! I can’t believe that even when you’re not supposed to do something you get it wrong!” Kim yelled at her boyfriend.
“What the hell-” He even tried to respond but got immediately interrupted for his bad language.
“Adam!” She hissed again, not believing how he could still curse so much now that the two of them had a child in the house.
“Sorry, sorry!” He said, nervously raising his hands, as Kim already peeked through the kitchen doors to see Jay and Makayla pretend like they hadn’t been listening to every word of their conversation in the living room. “It’s just… I remember you specifically telling me to find someone to babysit the kid, so I did it! How is it possible that I’m the one who-”
“Yes! I did ask you two to do that! On Monday! And do you remember what you told me?” He didn’t dare to say anything. “Oh, no? Because I do! I remember you saying, and I quote:” she said, even making finger quotes to emphasize the whole thing, “‘Where the hell am I supposed to find a babysitter for Makayla? None of my friends have any experience with kids!’” Kim shoved it in his face, making a very good point for herself. But, as usual, Adam decided to go against any sign of good judgment and continue to defend himself. He knew he could never let Kim in on it, but Jay himself was one of those who had already heard the officer saying how much he loved bickering with his girlfriend and getting her all fired up against him.
“No, uh! That won’t cut it! You told me, and I quote: ‘Then hire someone! I don’t know! But you’re the one who came up with the date night idea, so don’t come and throw something that should be your responsibility on my shoulders!’, so I knew that I needed to find someone! Kev and Vanessa are visiting his siblings this weekend, so I thought: why not Jay? He’s good with kids, and he offered to help us with Makayla!” Adam concluded, absolutely proud of himself while Kim just rolled her eyes.
“Oh. My. God!!! You do know he didn’t mean that literally, don’t you?” She was already fuming by that point.
“Err-” He had to admit that he’d never stopped to think about that possibility…
“No one means that literally!!” She shouted, this time, making even the neighbors hear their arguing. “No one means that literally, and, now, you’re just making us both look like the cops who can’t take care of their own kid in front of the entire unit.” She stated, in a lower, tone while pinching the bridge of her nose.
“But this is not the entire unit! This is Jay! Our friend Jay, who had offered!” Adam stood by that argument and Kim had already opened her mouth to shoot a remark back when Jay came into the kitchen.
“Makayla’s distracted with the tv.” He started with that so that they wouldn’t be worried. “Uh... Guys, Kim, you don’t have to worry about me telling anyone about this, okay? I won’t. Besides, I did mean what I said before. I’m here to help. Whatever you guys need. Plus, for someone who had plans of watching a game rerun alone at home on a Friday night, babysitting that cute little girl is almost like hitting a jackpot!” Jay assured, giving them a small smile and shiny eyes headed towards Makayla’s direction. Babysitting a kid, when he was probably never gonna have one of his own, was one of the things that he, personally, missed the most about when Will and Natalie were together. Back when Lindsay lived in Chicago, he used to be sure that, someday, he was gonna find someone. Settle down. Build a family. But, now… After everything that had happened, he couldn’t help but feel like his time to do all that had run out. So, instead of mooning over it, he could gladly babysit Makayla.
“Well, um, thank you, Jay,” Kim started, nervously tucking a string of hair behind her ear, “that’s really nice to hear. And we very much appreciate it. But-” She didn’t get a chance to finish as the doorbell rang and Adam rushed towards the apartment’s entrance to prevent his very excited little girl from opening the door by herself. When he got there, followed by the other two adults, Makayla was already standing on her tiptoes, hand-in-handle.
“Hey! Watcha doing, you little adventurous?!” Adam asked while picking her up from the floor and tickling her sides, which made her become a giggling mess. “You can’t just open the door like that, darlin’! You gotta check on the peephole first,” he said, as he lifted her up enough so that she could look through the hole, “like this. See someone?”
“Yes! It’s (y/n/n)!” She squealed out. “Can we open the door now? Please, Adam?” Makayla asked, shooting him pleading eyes, while her body buzzed with happiness.
“Ah, (y/n/n), right,” Adam said simply, opening the door and fearing that Kim would want to restart the whole discussion with him.
“Hey, princess!” And that simple greeting was all it took for Makayla to throw herself from Adam’s arms straight to yours. “Wow,” you laughed at her sudden movement, which had caused you to lose your balance a little, “you excited to see me?”
“Yes!! Did you bring the bakings???” She asked you eagerly, bakings being what she called your cooking utensils.
“No, not today!” Your answer made her face, almost immediately, turn into a sad frown. “But I brought this!” You told her while lifting up a box that read ‘karaoke set’, above a few drawings of a microphone and musical notes. Seeing that, Makayla’s saddened expression shifted in two seconds, eyes lighting up.
“Look, Kim!” The little girl shrieked, more than ready to have what she already knew was about to be the time of her life.
“Yeah, I see that! Seems like you girls are gonna have a blast…” Your friend weirdly trailed off, as her mind tried to find a quick solution to the mess her boyfriend had made.
“Uh…” Was all that a very handsome man you hadn’t met yet managed to let out.
“Jay, um, this is my best friend (y/n). (y/n/n), this is our friend from work Jay. I’m sorry about the mess, guys, it’s Adam’s fault.” Kim spoke again, bluntly accusing her boyfriend.
“My fault??? Are you kidding??? You told me to find someone to watch Makayla 'cause you didn’t want us to keep bothering (y/n)!”
“Guys! It’s no bother at all, really. Hanging out with this little princess is in my best interest, believe me!” You said, quickly defending your case.
“Well, thanks for saying that, (y/n/n). What happened here is that Adam told me he wouldn’t be able to get anyone,” Kim started while shooting daggers into her boyfriend with her bare eyes. “So, since I wasn’t about to just wait for a miracle, I called and asked you to do it. But someone didn’t think about telling me that he had already gotten Jay to come. And now you’re both here, ugh!” She finished, rather dramatically, while pointing a finger at Adam.
That was, seriously, the best couple you knew when it came to bickering.
“Okay, so, um, it’s not gonna be any trouble. I can leave since your colleague got here first and you don’t need to be stressed on your date night, friend.” You tried to bring things to a peaceful ending before Kim turned it into a murder scene.
“Oh, I do need to be stressed! I need to-” She started to debate but got cut off by Makayla’s cute pleading voice:
“But you can’t leave, (y/n/n)! We’re gonna play karaoke!” The little girl clearly had already gotten worked up by your idea for the night.
“Makayla, baby, please don’t be difficult. You hang out with (y/n/n) all the time, and uncle Jay is already here…” You watched as Adam tried to reason with his daughter while she held you really tight.
“No, uh…” Their friend started to say. Was it too weird for you to be thinking about how incredibly cute he looked when scratching the back of his neck like that? “Relax, man, I can go. I bet that you’re gonna have a lot more fun with her than with me, anyways, Mak.” He completed, talking to your little friend with a sweet smile, to which she reacted with a confused frown.
“But- but why does Jay have to leave? Can’t he play karaoke with us, (y/n/n)?” Makayla asked you poutingly.
“Now that’s something I’d like to see!” Adam started to mock but stopped when Kim punched him in the arm. “Ouch! That hurt, you know?”
“I know! That was exactly the result I was hoping for!” She squealed out sarcastically, “Makayla, honey, you can’t just ask both (y/n/n) and Jay to play karaoke, of all things, with you.” It was lovely to watch Kim interacting so patiently with her kid but the young girl still didn’t seem to understand.
“But why???”
“Well, they don’t know each other, Makayla.” Kim tried again but Mak still wasn’t ready to give it up.
“But they know me!”
“Good luck explaining now, ma.” As soon as the words came out of his mouth, all of you 𑁋 Adam himself included 𑁋 knew what was coming, fortunately, Kim just punched him in the arm again.
“You know, guys, you don’t need to fight over something like this, okay? Uh… Since he’s your coworker, I’m gonna assume that he’s one of the good guys, therefore I wouldn’t really have a problem with hanging out with him…” You said because you were never one to say no to little kids. “I mean if that’s okay with you, too, officer…”
“It’s detective, actually. But you can call me Jay, uh, (y/n), right?”
“Yeah, that’s right.”
“Well, I don’t have any problems with hanging out with you either,” Jay said and, Jesus, was that really his smile? “I mean, Mak should get all the babysitters she wants!” He told her with a wink. It was official. You were so done for the night.
“Ha!” Kim nervously let out a laugh, “let’s go easy there, cowboy! You can’t just come into my house offering the kid everything she wants.”
“Okay, okay,” the detective started to say with a gesture of surrender while the couple started to get out of the house to give you the space to properly go in. “Sorry ‘bout that, ma!” You could have sworn that you saw him tremble 𑁋 just a little 𑁋 under the deadly gaze your friend sent his way. Adam, who seemed to be off the hook for the first time that night, took the moment to laugh and hope that his girl would forget she had been so mad at him.
“C’mon, darling. Let’s get going before we decide it isn’t very safe to leave Mak with those two.”
"Yeah… I'm already deciding that but maybe they'll prove us wrong." Kim said, voice absolutely faithless. "You behave, Makayla!"
"It's more than obvious that she's going to be the best tonight. Get outta here already!" You heard Jay yelling a little in response to her, as you and Makayla started to get the karaoke set up.
But you, being the lucky person you were, obviously couldn't find your way around your friend's old stuff.
"Uh, you need any help there?"
“No! No, not all! Um, I got this!” You quickly responded because you could be pretty skeptical when it came to admitting your weaknesses and, from your point of view, not getting a simple karaoke set to work was a huge one.
“Alright, then…”
“Are you sure you don’t want Jay to help, (y/n/n)?” Mak asked, sounding way more reasonable than you, the actual adult there.
“Um, err, I guess maybe I could use some help… It’s just that this TV setup is quite different from mine…” You said, still unwilling to let how confused you were really show.
“Yeah, I can help!” you heard Jay as he left his spot in the corner of the room. “I was just ordering us pizza but I can totally help out 'cause Adam and I actually shopped for these TVs together, so I have the same one!” He said, this time, already gently getting the device from your hands before you could even react, which was probably him sensing that you wouldn’t give it up so easily, like he could see right through you.
“Okay, well, since you already ordered the pizza, I’ll go make us some juice.” As you said that you got both of your companions making weird faces at you, so you amended: “Or not, because you already ordered soda too… Just keep in mind that if Kim gets mad because of all the junk food that kid is eating, I’m telling on you, detective!” You said, making a point to stare right into his eyes 𑁋 God, they were so beautiful, was there nothing but beauty in this man’s body?
“Okay, so I think we’re all good here with the karaoke! Who wants to go first?” Hearing that you came of your very dangerous thoughts and Makayla jumped up and down, screaming:
“Me! Me! Me!”
“Alright, little lady, then come pick a song!” Jay told her and stood by to help her with her choice.
About three hours later all three of you had already sung your hearts out 𑁋 Jay having had gone for ABBA, which surprised you and Mak, to say the least 𑁋 eaten lots of pizza, drunk lots of soda and had begun watching a movie, cause you told Jay that that always did the trick when it came to Mak falling asleep. But, God, it was hard to pay attention to the movie you were supposed to be watching when sitting next to a guy like that. And he wasn’t just really handsome. He was sweet and kind and funny. Also, he was so good with Makayla. It was like everything you’d always imagined the perfect man being like was right there, reunited in the detective’s goof self. But you couldn't be thinking those thoughts about him. Not when he was so close. And definitely not when your best friend's daughter was lying on both of your laps.
So, in order to calm your thoughts for a minute, you gently put Makayla’s head on a cushion as you got up 𑁋 because she was already asleep 𑁋, and said I’m gonna get started on cleaning over there.” It was indeed necessary since Mak had dropped all of the content of a big ice cream container near the dining table, the ice cream being very sticky and sort of liquid 𑁋 which was obviously beyond your understanding but who were you to judge Kim and her preferences?
"Oh God, lemme help you!" You heard Jay saying, as he quickly made his way from the corridor over to where you were cleaning the floor, by the dining table.
"Ah, there's no need for it. I'm used to spending time with Mak, and, then, cleaning up before Kim sees it." You told him with a sly smile.
"Ha! Well, I don't doubt it! You're really good with her."
"And she's really good at making giant messes."
"Right." He said, chuckling lightly. "But, this time, I bet you felt like there were two kids, huh?"
"Your words, not mine, detective."
"Anyways, I'll help. Don't tell Kim and Adam, cause they might spread it across the district, but I'm actually pretty good at cleaning. Especially, when compared to someone who's doing such a lousy job." At that, you instantly snapped your head in his direction.
"What did you just say?" You asked, pretending to be mad while standing up and raising your sponge, as if it was a weapon you were threatening him with.
"Uh… Uh, d- did you know that pulling a weapon on a cop is a crime?" He asked, trying to play along, but stuttering a little.
"And what are you gonna do?" Now that Makayla was asleep… "Huh? Arrest me?" Jesus Christ, you definitely weren't thinking straight, you thought as you watched Jay drop his mop, also spilling all the soapy water on the floor. He even motioned to take care of it but stopped when he realized that you were, now, standing closer. Closer than it was safe for him to be near a woman like you. So he decided to take a step backward, not remembering the floor situation and slipping. As a reflex, you grabbed his shirt when you were obviously not gonna be able to prevent him from falling.
So, you ended up falling with him. On top of him. Oh God, was that living room always so hot? Your thoughts were cut off by Jay's laugh, it was an open-mouthed laugh, just like when you two were interacting with Makayla. He didn't seem to be the kind of guy who got to laugh too much, especially given his job. But it definitely suited his features. His smile, that bright, was so beautiful.
"So you're seriously not even gonna try and get up? Just gonna stay there staring?" Hearing that, you blushed instantly, because you hadn't even realized you were staring.
"Ah, uh… Right." Now, that was your turn to stutter, and Jay was loving every second of it. He thought you looked absolutely adorable like that. Even more so than you had looked all night.
But you weren't feeling adorable at all. You were embarrassed. By the situation at hand, sure, but, also, by your entire behavior that had, pretty much, gotten the two of you in that position. What was going through your head? The answer was simple: nothing. Or, better yet, Jay's gorgeous face, body, and behavior. Just, Jay being gorgeous all night. Now, what really made you wanna dig a hole and jump right into it was when you tried to get up but the floor was so slippery that you just fell back on him.
Needless to say, he was having a playfield. Laughing like there was no tomorrow. In fact, he had relaxed completely under you, laying his head on the soaked floor.
"You know what? This is pretty comfortable. I think I'll stay right here." It was official: you had no self-shame.
"Are you serious?" He asked, trying hard to hold back from laughing.
"Look, I don't know what else to do, okay? And my brain is clearly affected by your little charm, because I just keep mortifying myself over and over-"
"So you think I'm charming, huh?" Damn it. A thousand times damn it.
"Uh… That's not exactly what I-" You couldn't finish your sentence, as Jay started pulling you even closer to him. Kissing you. Oh boy, how he kissed you…
"Oh. My. God." Both you and Jay jumped away from each other, as much as you could, the second you heard Kim say that, her being followed suit by Adam:
"What the hell is that?!?" He half-asked, half-barked at the both of you, trying hard to not burst into laughter.
"Uh, it's, um, it's not what you're thinking, guys-"
"It's not what I'm thinking?!?" Yeah… It was safe to say that Kim was pissed. "Are you sure it isn't? Because the image actually seemed pretty self-explanatory to me!" As the both of you just kept working out a way to get up from the floor, she continued: "I come back home thinking that everything was gonna be perfect because my daughter had two adults babysitting her! People that I thought were quite responsible but, then, I come home to find those very adults making out on the floor in my living room! My very dirty living room! And, by the way, where the hell is Makayla?"
"She, um, she's in her bedroom. Asleep." Jay finally spoke. "And, about the mess… We were just, uh…"
"Yeah, man, we saw what you were just doing," Adam said, looking like he was having the time of his life.
"No! That's not what he was gonna say-"
"Ah, so the two of you got along so well that now you even know what he was going to say, (y/n)?" Kim said, while glaring at you.
"All I meant was that, well, the place got a little dirty…" Jay started to explain but not fast enough.
"A little???" Kim was really, really mad, you realized.
"But dinner was great!" At that, both you and Kim just stared at him incredulously while Adam started laughing on his way to the kitchen.
"That's what you were going to say???" You ask him, not believing you'd just tried to defend him for some joke. "Kim, I'm sorry things ended up this unfruitful…" You began to tell your best friend, to try and patch things up, when Adam chipped in from the other room.
"You know, darling, Jay wasn't wrong! This pizza is great!" He barked, mouth full. And that's what got Kim to go over the edge.
"Don't you realize what just happened here, Adam??? And, you two! I still haven't heard an explanation on what the hell I just saw!"
"I'm sorry, okay? I'm sorry! We were cleaning up and then it just-"
"It just what, (y/n)??? It just happened? That what you were gonna say?"
"As a matter of fact, yes, it is! It just happened because you and your boyfriend made me babysit with this ridiculously hot guy and I'm human! Now, before you have another crisis, Makayla didn't see anything and I'm leaving because I just humiliated myself more than enough for a lifetime!" With that said, and your flight or flee instinct activated — cause you were never much of a fighter —, you did the smartest thing possible and stormed out of there, hoping to be able to get into some sort of protection program for embarrassment victims.
Meanwhile, Adam and Kim simply had to laugh, even more so when they noticed Jay's shocked twinkling expression.
"Jay! What is wrong with you?" Kim asked, taking him out of his daze.
"What?"
"Go after her! If I hadn't been so upset about the circumstances, I would've been the first one to say that what happened over there?" She asked, pointing to the floor. "What happened there was hot." The officer finished her trail of thought bluntly, as if it was the most obvious thing.
"But… What about your living room?" Jay asked, still unsure of what to do.
"Are you kidding me? Look, Halstead, if you promise not to break her heart… I won't hold it against you." Kim stated, making her stance on the whole matter very clear. She thought it was a good way to start apologizing to you after freaking out like that.
"Uh, uh, alright!" The detective rambled, looking like he had no idea of what to do next.
“Go!” With that last push, he left his friends’ house to go try and get the girl.
“You know, this is quite a mess but they do have the potential to be a great couple!” Adam happily pointed out, as he kept eating all he could find.
“Ha! If she’s as lucky as I am…” Kim ironically muttered, as she watched her boyfriend impolitely shoving food in his mouth.
“Then she’s a very lucky lady!” He confidently stated with a grin while all Kim could do was laugh at his messy childish ways.
Outside burzek's apartment — burzek being the ship name you used to tease Kim and Adam with —, you had been slowly walking towards the subway. You wanted to move faster but your mind was too full at the moment. And, sometimes, when you needed to get your head back on straight, you couldn't really do anything else, having a hard time concentrating on your flow of thoughts.
It was right when you were beginning to think you had stopped the spirals in your mind that you heard him: "(y/n)!" You recognized the detective's voice on the spot. How could you not, after how he had managed to disrupt your thoughts and actions all evening? But you weren't about to turn back around and have your very own movie ending with him. You just knew it wasn't gonna play out like that and decided to keep walking in order to preserve the little dignity you still had. "Oh, c'mon! Just give me a minute! Please!" That pleading made you turn around, to let him down more politely, which ended up with the two of you almost hitting each other. Once again, that same night, he was too close to you. The proximity with his body sending all sorts of heatwaves through yours. He seemed to be feeling it too, given the way he started to look at you, the damn smirk back on his lips.
"Nu-uh. You don't get to look at me like that. Not after what it did to me the first time."
"Huh. Care to elaborate on that? How exactly am I looking at you?" He asked, moving even closer to you altogether. "And, more importantly, what exactly did it do to you?"
"You don't need me to answer any of that." You pointed out, crossing your arms over your chest — clearly going into defensive mode.
"Maybe not," he started, tilting his head slightly — the damn smirks never leaving his face. "But. I'd like to hear it nevertheless."
"Well, you're not going to."
"Ah, okay." Wait, was he really giving up that easily? "Then maybe I can just try and see what it does to you one more time? For the sake of curiosity." All you could think to say was an enthusiastic 'Yes, please!' but, when he started leaning in to kiss you, you seemed to come back to your senses, pushing him away and taking some steps back of your own.
"Oh my God! Don't you get it? We can't be doing this right now. Not after the way I left things with Kim because of our previous, um, actions!" At that, Jay just gave you a confused look. "I stormed out of there but just because I was feeling too ashamed about it all and I honestly don’t think that I want any more embarrassment for a lifetime.
“Okay, okay. I get that but maybe it would feel less embarrassing for you if you knew that I was feeling all of that too: all of that buzzing energy and the goddamn butterflies and everything. You were doing exactly the same I did to you to me. And, as embarrassing as it was to be caught like that by Adam and Kim, I still can’t say I regret any of it. In fact, I was thinking that maybe we could do it again? You know, minus all the mess and the kid 𑁋 I mean, I adore Mak but that would be-”
You didn’t care to listen to the rest of all he had to say. Instead, you threw yourself into his arms, even making him lose his balance for a second, and started kissing him, except that this time it was a slow, hot, and thought-through kiss. And the second you did kiss him, you heard clapping and whistling from afar, as you turned to find Kim and Adam there, once again witnessing you and Jay kiss. And that had Jay whispering to you:
“Let’s get out of here?” To which you responded simply with a:
“Yes, please!”

synopsis: kim minji who has lived in the same dorm for almost 3 years suddenly receives a surprising new roommate, this one — she knows will forever change her life.
— non!idol!kminji × non!idol!ill!femreader
(。•́︿•̀。)(。•́︿•̀。)(。•́︿•̀。)(。•́︿•̀。)(。•́︿
"teacher? why are you here?" minji asks as she watches the familiar old woman in front of her doorsteps, carrying a large bag with a small smile. it hasn't been long since she saw this old woman inside her dorm she always manages to pay her visits and ask her about her well-being every now and then. ms. hwang is a teacher for the handicapped, she lives in the same building and takes care of students who are disabled — she herself is also disabled, yet she finds it in her to help other students surpass what they think is impossible.
minji isn't one of them, but she knows a few — ms. hwang have basically lived her life helping students in need, minji has witnessed it a couple of times and is proud of the old woman, often trying to offer her dinner sometimes when she comes home late at night and sometimes helping her pack up things or carry heavy stuff to another building or room.
as for minji, she's been living in the same building for almost three years, she's had different roommates who have left not for too long — she experienced the worst and the best, this place is basically her second home. her last roommate was a girl named pham hanni, she has left after choosing a different university but they are still contacting each other and will often visit each other's place. hanni was technically her best friend, this is coming from minji who has never really had that much friends growing up, she's good at socializing but the problem always lies with her lack of connection with people; often ending up with her completely losing contact with another person.
"minji! i have some good news." ms. hwang enters inside as she mumbles a small excuse, minji gives the older woman some space and closes the door as the old woman walks her way to the now empty room.
"is this about the roommate i was asking about?" minji has been living alone for 2 months, that meant she had to pay the whole dorm without sharing it with anyone and it's been hard for her wallet. minji walks around and watches as the teacher starts cleaning the room and fixing the bed.
"yes, she's gonna move in here tomorrow. you told me to assist the papers, right? and so i did, everything's already fixed and by tomorrow we'll wait for her. okay?" minji widens her eyes and then nods, standing on the door frame of the room, she leans and crosses her arms as she takes a deep breath. "that was really fast, i appreciate it ms. hwang, this is like my first time inquiring you about a roommate." minji chuckles to herself, it's true — all the time she spend living in this building, whenever she'll look for roommates, she's always the one discussing it with the person, she's also the one accomplishing the paperworks.
just this time... it's been a busy term for minji, she's always out at the university campus working on her labworks, she's also busy with helping students with their academic papers, it has become her part time job and it pays quite well — enough to suffice her needs and as well her wants.
"it's alright minji, you're always working hard and diligently, i'm pretty sure your advisory appreciates your presence and your advice. let me take care of this for you even just for once." ms. hwang says as she finishes fixing the bed, she walks around to start cleaning up the table and minji walks outside to the corridor, then walking straight to the living room slash kitchen.
she stands in the middle, minji even as she's standing in the middle of a cramped room — it still feels as if it was empty, there's a light above her, she's getting taller and taller; next thing she knows her head will eventually reach the ceiling. minji has always felt so lonely, even before she was in this dorm — there's always an empty space lingering in her mind, she could be in a sea of crowd but eventually she'll feel lonely, stranded.
the lack of communication with her family fuels this feeling inside of her too, she doesn't even remember the last time she's had a conversation with her father — and although she wants to, it's hard for her.
tomorrow, she'll welcome the new addition to her collection of roommates — guessing by the fact that ms. hwang is the one working on the requirements, minji can already tell that her new roommate isn't the same as the last ones, a person with disability — it's not a bad thing but it's new...
"minji... tomorrow, make sure to welcome her very warmly. i promise that she won't be a problem to you, i just hope you also take good care of her and give her your full support." minji watches as ms. hwang walks past her, her round eyes follow the elderly woman who walks to the door of her dorm, carrying the her things. minji opens her mouth but then closes it again, before nodding with a small smile.
"alright, i got this ms. hwang. don't worry about it."
the next day, minji comes home to see that the living room is occupied with ms. hwang and a man in his mid-40's, they were conversing as they sit on the couch. minji silently enters inside, carrying her backpack and a few papers in her hands. as she was walking past the living room, ms. hwang may have been able to feel her presence and that's when the old man looked at her too.
"oh my minji, you're finally home!" ms. hwang greets her, minji nods and smiles sheepishly.
"hi ms. hwang, good evening mister." minji bows at the pair.
the man acknowledges her presence and gives her a small nod with a smile. "good evening too ms. kim, it's nice to meet you." he says, minji looks at ms. hwang who signals her to sit down to which minji did.
"yes, nice to meet you too sir. i hope you feel comfortable here." minji says as she takes a seat and places her belongings on the small coffee table in the middle.
"it's mr. jang, i'm happy my daughter is staying at this place. it's not the biggest but it's clean and safe, the closest to the university she's studying at and the hospital. my daughter also likes it here." minji can't help but smile at the words from the man, she nods in agreement and clasps her hands together before speaking once again.
"i'm glad you feel that way, i'll make sure to keep this place the same and i'll be very responsible." minji tells the man, receiving a satisfied look from ms. hwang. "you know sir, minji is a very responsible student, she takes her job and studying seriously and keeps a good look on the dorm. i'm pretty sure she'll be very helpful with your daughter's stay here." ms. hwang says, minji looks at the woman and then to her feet, staring to grow curious about the new roommate she'll be sharing the place with.
"i'm happy to know that." mr. jang glances at his wristwatch and stands up. "y/n's sister is looking for me now, we have to go and take care of y/n's medications and for now, i'll be trusting the two of you. take care of my daughter." he says as he lives and walks out of the dorm, minji stares at thin air as she starts to think about what this man truly feels.
it's the fact he seemed nonchalant about this whole exchange, how there's no sign of sadness lingering in his voice, but it's very obvious he is in deep fatigue — the bags under his eyes, the wrinkles and the whites of his hair — he's strong, it's clear to minji how much this man cares for his daughter and how he's willing to do anything to help her.
"minji, i'll be taking my leave now. y/n already ate dinner and is staying in her room. for now, you can go ahead and take a rest. i'll come back tomorrow." ms. hwang leaves and all minji could do pull her lips into a thin line, sitting alone on the couch as emptiness starts to crawl around her.
as soon as the clock strikes 9am, "teacher!" minji opens her door to see ms. hwang coming inside the dorm, carrying her bag as she walks inside the now occupied room, it seems like y/n was calling out for her through this small telephone connected to ms. hwang's room.
"hi ms. hwang." minji greets the older woman, the older woman smiles back at her. "hi minji, i need to go inside y/n's room, it's time for her weekly exercise." she whispers before entering inside the room and closing it immediately. minji stands in the middle of the corridor, pursing her lips as she slowly nods, turning around to look at the room next to hers.
minji blinks a few times before walking to the kitchen to grab the box of cereal and notices the newly bought foods on the shelves, it's now cramped — back when she was living alone, the shelves barely had any food inside.
minji held the box of cereal in her hand and grabbed the carton of milk inside the refrigerator which is now also filled with newly bought food, dumbfounded but not unbeknownst to her, she grabbed the carton of milk and prepped her meal.
as minji's eating, the door opens and minji turns around to see ms. hwang.
"minji! can you grab the telephone and dial the number on the sticky note hanging on the corkboard?" minji stands up, her mouth filled with cereal and grabs the telephone to dial the number.
"dr. shim — y/n's weekly morning exercise: ×××-××××-×××."
minji swallows her food and looks at ms. hwang. "what do i say?" she mouths, and as her sight focuses behind ms. hwang inside your room, she spots you, sitting up on your bed as you hold your phone up.
minji feels her heart stop at the new discovery.
"tell her y/n's ready for her therapy."
minji shakes her head and nods.
the door is closed again, minji is wearing her complete outfit on her way to the university, she's still thinking about you though.
your hair, your eyes, the only things she was able to see clearly from your side view and past your door that's been restricting her from reaching out to you.
minji realizes she's got no business to peep on your situation so she takes her leave for the day and hopes her curiosity slowly dies so you can have your peace.
minji is at an empty university computer lab, her laptop sitting on the table as she taps her pen on the wooden table, looking for any corrections at the research paper her advisory have just submitted her.
"hey, you should stop trying to avoid repeating the words 'soil moisture' you need to be consistent with your terms, it's very confusing if you use different words pertaining to the same idea. it's alright to repeat those words, unless you're explaining." minji talks as she's currently in a call with her advisory, scrolling at her laptop looking for more mistakes.
"the variables are okay, i suggest you should inquire at the building of forestry and technology to add another test on your variables; how about test the accuracy of your sensor? or the level of moisture?" she adds, clicking through the pages of the paper. minji sighs before closing the file.
"i think that's all, you can ask me more questions once you revise those parts. for now, i think you should really focus on your robot — don't worry too much about the paper, you'll get it right." minji shrugs, looking out the window.
"thanks ms. kim." the student says, the call ends and minji thinks about you once again, wondering what you are probably doing right now.
minji groans and starts to feel frustrated because of her lingering curiosity about you, it doesn't help that she was able to get a peek of your face earlier, fueling her desire to be able to get close to you once again.
when minji arrives home, she sees your sister — wonyoung, exiting your room and having a small conversation with ms. hwang before leaving without saying a word to minji, minji stands near the door with a dumbfounded look on her face.
"y/n's older sister paid her a visit, isn't she so nice? she seems worried about her sister and wants to take care of her but y/n refused saying she had other things to take care of besides her." minji nods as ms. hwang gives her the details of today's anecdotes, after ms. hwang left minji continues to think about what you're doing inside your room.
are you sad?
lonely?
tired?
are you happy?
maybe you're frustrated...
what if you suddenly need help?
minji took note that she can actually hear you whenever you call for ms. hwang, she hears your voice but only when you call for teacher.
she's never heard you say anything other than that before and is becoming more curious as time goes by, week after week, until your first month of stay inside the dorm has passed minji have been used to always seeing ms. hwang more than once a week, it became a daily thing. minji will leave earlier before you even eat breakfast, she'll also come home late after you ate dinner.
"minji, i'm not here tonight and can't help y/n eat her dinner. i haven't told her about it but i'm leaving this job for you just for tonight don't worry." ms. hwang says as she gives minji a piece of paper, minji stands with the paper in her hand — looking at it then back to ms. hwang. "uhm, it's alright. your timing is perfect i'll come home early in the afternoon." minji states, taking small deep breaths, trying to compose herself.
there's some kind of rush inside of her, she doesn't understand what that might be.
"oh my god thank you so much minji, that's the instructions of how to bring y/n here at the dining table. there's the equipment for her chair, just make sure she doesn't get hurt or fall over." ms. hwang reminds minji who nods and gives her a reassuring smile. "don't worry ms. hwang, i'll take care of her. i promise i'll be gentle."
that night minji takes her earbuds off trying to scope any sound from your room, then she hears your voice again.
"teacher!" you shout.
minji stands up and walks toward the door of your room, reaching out a shaky hand to the metal doorknob and feeling its cold surface tingle her palm, she twists it and pushes the door open.
you lay on your bed, taking deep breaths. minji's eyes scans the posters on the wall, pictures of you and your sisters, your family and friends. you weren't knowledgeable about minji's presence and the girl was practically shaking.
"h— hey..." minji calls out, you turn your head meekly and see her face, your eyes squint before you blink and look away. "where's ms. hwang?" you ask minji, minji sighs and scratches her nape.
"there was an emergency and she was needed, she ordered me to help you eat dinner." minji says standing beside your bed, you sigh with a smile. "okay." you mutter.
you grew up almost like every other child — "almost" as you were unbeknownst to the growing illness inside of your body, as you grow old your muscles began to weaken, almost to the point that even walking began to be hard until your legs have completely given up.
it didn't help that your case was almost rare, every medication is double the price of a normal surgery, your therapy costs hundreds of thousands per session and even if your family could afford it you still can't help but feel bad because ever since you start to lose your ability to walk, all they can think about was your situation.
it's frustrating but you continue to keep moving forward, still holding up a positive outlook and view of the world, managing to smile because no matter how hard it gets, how painful it becomes you still have your family behind your back, always thankful you get to still see them.
it's so hard... even just raising your hands already feels like you're carrying 10 pounds of iron, your muscles have grown so weak that you're stuck having to lay on your bed all day, sit with a harness around you.
it feels like you're slowly rotting, that time where your parents wanted to have you stop studying and focus on your well-being, you feel like you've given up that's why you refused and persuaded them to take you to the dorm because you wanted to keep learning, sometimes even tutoring high school students from time to time.
"am i heavy?" you ask minji, she wanted to say yes because you're lower body and almost most of your upper body lack any movement to support your weight but minji shakes her head.
"it's alright, just enough." you usually don't get carried by ms. hwang, instead she pushes the wheelchair close to your bed and helps you move to sit on it.
but minji with her strength carries you to the wheelchair with ease, immediately putting your harness around you. as she crouches down, locking your wheelchair, you stare at her face — realizing this was your first time seeing her face up close, she's indeed beautiful.
you've heard lots of good things about her from ms. hwang, even from your father when they first met — you wouldn't deny the fact that you didn't care about minji when you first came here but seeing how nice and caring she actually is, you feel drawn to her.
"thanks." you mutter, minji feels her face flushing red and she nods. "no problem." she pushes you outside to the dining table where the dinner is already served.
minji didn't hesitate to offer you other foods, like ms. hwang does, you appreciate her sheer kindness and thoughtfulness and can see her genuineness from her eyes.
"i hope you come here inside my room again tomorrow." you tell minji as she sets you on your bed, not even caring about how heavy you were on her arms. her hands were big and rough but gentle, her black hair soft against your skin, and her eyes shines in front of yours.
you smile at her causing her to look away. "i'll try." minji whispers before leaving your room.
"teacher! my medications please!" as the door to your room opens, ms. hwang enters inside and you spot minji standing outside before the door closes and she turns away. you smile at the sight before having a conversation with ms. hwang as you take your shots.
"was everything okay yesterday?" ms. hwang asks, you look at her with a smile and an answer. "perfectly fine, minji was very gentle with me." ms. hwang sighs in relief to your answer.
minji is free once again, but she takes this time to sit on the sofa and watch tv. you're still inside your room, minji promised to try and visit you but she's not even coming inside, so you take it upon yourself to see her.
"ms. hwang, can i watch tv in the living room?" you ask her, ms. hwang nods and immediately helps you get to your wheelchair. minji turns her head to see you and ms. hwang coming out of your room, you smile at her. minji stands up as she notices ms. hwang getting your body to the couch and help to carry you, you had a hard time but you still try to wrap your arms around her neck.
"thanks minji." you whisper at her.
"minji, she wants to watch a show on the tv. kindly accompany her as i leave." ms. hwang tells minji before leaving, there's an awkward silence between the two of you, nothing but the sound of the tv keeping the surroundings alive.
and maybe minji's heartbeat too.
"u-uhm, what did you want to watch again?" minji turns to you as she speaks, holding the remote in her hand. you laugh and shake your head. "nothing in particular, whatever you like." you shrug, minji looks at the remote and goes back to the tv.
a baseball match is playing and minji's starting to lose her focus.
"you like baseball?" you ask, minji's ear tips are bright red and burning hot.
"a bit." she answers.
you smile fondly. "i only said that because i wanted to see you again." you admit.
minji looks at you with wide eyes. "what..?" she mutters.
"you promised me you'll try to visit my room but you didn't." you pout. minji laughs sheepishly. "i just didn't want to bother you while you were studying." she sits properly on the couch and looks away, clearing her throat.
your eyes soften at the sight of her face. "you won't."
minji looks at you again, feeling her heart stop every second that passes by your eyes looking at hers.
months have passed, minji starts to realize her feelings she harbors for you, each time that passes by her yearning grows deeper and her feelings start to overflow that it starts to scare her. minji doesn't understand what to do, every breath she breathes inside your room feels suffocating, her heart clenching whenever she remembers how hurt you are — she feels bad.
so bad that every night she spends alone in her room is filled with endless thoughts about your well-being, she wants to get you out of the pain you're suffering, she wants to save you but she doesn't know how. whenever she sees your pained expression is another knife on her chest, a stinging feeling close to a thorn stuck on her heart lingers — these feelings of both love and pain are too much.
from wanting to see you, minji grows her feelings until it gets hard to see your state.
she realized the severity of your illness, how there's a possibility that there might not be any cure for it.
that empty feeling inside her became occupied by your presence but it's cramped now, and her heart feels like it's about to burst.
she thinks about the words you said. "i can't fall in love when i'm like this." she wants to pull you in a tight hug, but she knows how tight it would be — it's probably harder for you than it is for her.
she's selfish, minji knows that.
she wants to think of you but it hurts.
minji remembers that night, she spent it with you, you kept asking her questions and she didn't hesitate to answer — you found out it's been long since minji was in a relationship and you've never been in one, because of your situation, relationships have been the last of your worries. although minji starts to change your mind, you couldn't help but feel like it's not right.
it's painful.
"it hurts! my legs..." you cry out as tears start to roll down your face, you can't move anything — your muscles are hurting so much, a hand pats your head and you look up to see your sister. "it's okay..." she lulls you but it's not working.
minji stands outside of your room, your door shut again but she can hear your cries, you pleading for anything to stop the pain from getting worse.
minji sobs, feeling her heart clenching tight, she breathes heavily, hand on her chest as she tries to stop it from hurting.
"oh no." minji mutters before teardrops start to fall on the floor, her head hanging low and the world felt too big for her to hold.
it's almost like she's also carrying the weight of your pain on her shoulders.
she's about to fall.
and it's going to hurt.
"i can't do this." minji mutters, splashing water on her face, the water drips down her chin, the sound of the faucet echoes on the walls of the restroom and hanni can't help but feel bad for her friend.
"you're making things hard for yourself, why are you running away like this?" hanni asks her friend, looking at the distressed girl leaning on the sink. minji peeks at her friend through the mirror and then looks away.
"i'm not running away. i'm just — avoiding my feelings, hanni we can't be together." minji's tone is harsh.
"why is that? it's literally exactly the same? you're making her whole point correct!" hanni argues, minji grits her teeth and closes her eyes before pushing herself up. "i don't think she wants me the way i do with her." minji mutters.
"if you're going to turn away from her just because of her situation then you might as well leave — that's literally what she's trying to say, no one stays for her because of what she's going through." hanni rolls her eyes, throwing her hands up.
minji walks in circles, a hand on her forehead. "i don't want her to push me away, i also don't want her to leave me. but what am i supposed to do, she thinks so low of herself and i — i love her."
hanni looks at her friend and sighs.
"minji you have to be honest with her."
lately, you've been more quiet — isolated.
minji opens the door to your room and you bring the book in your hands down.
"minji..." you mutter.
minji smiles softly before closing the door gently, she stands there trying to compose herself properly before speaking.
"does your body still hurt?" she asks, walking towards your bed. "do you have energy to talk or should i just watch over you?" she asks again.
you appreciate her kindness.
"i want to hear you talk." you tell her with a smile. minji nods and sits at a chair next to you. "i've been thinking about a lot of stuff lately, mainly about my worries for your health and college, then my advisory. i've been wanting to tackle something important and i need to hear your thoughts." minji starts, she clasps her hands together and bring it close to her lips, thinking of what to say next.
"what is it?" you ask, growing nervous.
minji sighs. "uhm, i understand and i'm completely knowledgeable about your situation. i know it's painful and it's hard, you can always tell me about it, i'll take care of you anytime you need me." minji pauses, bringing her hands to your bed. "lately, i've been really worried about you. you're so brave and strong, but when you cried i... i didn't know what to do. i've also been under a lot of stress, so it's all mixed up inside of my head but i always think about what you've told me and of course you... it helps me a lot." she continues.
you nod at her, you take a deep breath and try to bring your hand to her even if it's taking you all your energy to lift your hand, minji reaches for it and brings it down, but still holding your hand.
"y/n... i know this sounds extremely stupid but i've been meaning to say this for a long time." minji scoots closer and brings your hand to her face. "i love you, so much." she hides her face with your hand and hers. "ah, i know. i know. there's no right time for this except now, i think. i'm scared you'll leave and i won't be able to be honest about what i feel but... i hope you don't — please don't push me away." minji's hands are trembling, she's not looking up but you can see the way her lips were quivering.
you give her an apologetic look.
"i understand, you know minji you've always been so kind to me and i'm thankful i was with you the whole time. you make me feel alive, you make me feel like someone i haven't been able to be for a long time." you look down at her, eyes watching minji's hands caressed yours.
"i love you too but we can't be together. you need to find someone else who's a better fit for you. i can't love you like this." you finish before sighing.
minji grips your hand tighter.
"no, it's not like that." minji shakes her head.
"you don't get it. i love you more than that, and i'm willing to stay here no matter how long and i promise to take care of you." minji turns her head to you and you see the tears on her eyes.
you look at her but with no expression.
"i feel bad for you minji." you trail.
"why'd you have to fall for someone pathetic?"
minji stares at you and just for a bit, your eyes look empty, like that space inside of her.
"...what?" minji mutters.
"you know what i mean..." you turn your head from her, eyes darting somewhere that's not minji's presence. minji is still holding your hand and she stands up from the bed and leans closer to you. "y/n, i know but i'm being honest and you shouldn't say that about yourself—" you cut her off with a sigh, minji looks away and lets your hand go.
she takes a few steps back, fixing her clothes. "can you call ms. hwang for my medication? maybe we shouldn't talk about this for now, i don't feel good..." you tell minji and she immediately nods and leaves your room, but that was your only excuse to escape from the pressure inside your chest about to have your heart imploding.
"hope the sun isn't too hot." you hear minji speak as she pushes your wheelchair, you agreed for minji to take you to the nearest park to get you to bathe under the sunlight — it's been a while since you last felt the feeling of the sun on your skin. you hate how kind minji is, she's still really ready to do whatever for you and it doesn't matter how much you push her away.
maybe you don't understand her at all, the things she'll do for you even if you don't ask her.
you hum. "it's perfect."
your eyes scan around the area, there are not many people around but still you can feel the energy around the place, kids and their parents and stalls and pets. you relax under the sun, you tell yourself you're going to be alright.
"i wish we were always like this — " you speak, minji looks down at you and smiles, though she's still bothered by the feelings lingering inside of her, mind and heart — she's trying to stay quiet, for your sake and as well as hers, maybe it truly was for the better.
"and just like this." minji knows exactly what you mean, nodding her head and letting out a deep breath. "yeah, it's — you're right." minji answers.
but it eventually gets hard, you wish you could do something about this stupid illness, you laugh to yourself, even having a hard time turning your head. minji looks ahead and notices the sun getting too hot, she reaches for your shoulder and caresses it gently.
"let's go back." minji whispers.
you feel bad, for yourself and minji — you weren't lying at all when you told her about what you felt.
you love minji but it's hard, you don't want her to feel like she's stuck at the same place and at the same time doing the same thing, breathing and living for someone else and not for herself. you hate the idea of her leaving but you also don't want her to be hurting for you, it's so hard — so complicated.
because you know how tiring it would be, you saw it with your family you know it won't be different with minji — she has a life ahead of her, so much to do and so much to live for, why would she settle here with you?
you're just going to hold her back.
"i'm so sorry minji." you mutter, as minji was taking your harness off — minji looks up and smiles at you, it breaks her heart to see her trying her best and you know it hurts her too to see you this way.
"it's okay, you're going to be okay." minji says as she carries you and lays you down your bed.
you're still living with her, in the same cramped space, breathing the same air and feeling the same way.
but this time untold secrets stack themselves on top of each other and it grows each time you decide to close your lips again instead of saying anything.
everything has changed, upside down.

"Hazel, come on! You're going to be late for your first day," I called out, a hint of urgency in my voice as I stood by the door, checking the time repeatedly.
"Coming, Mommy!" Hazel's excited voice echoed down the hallway. Within moments, she darted towards me, her eyes bright with anticipation. I enveloped her in a tight embrace, planting playful kisses all over her face as she giggled with delight.
"Are you excited?" I asked, trying to contain my own excitement as we stepped outside. The morning air was crisp, and the sun was just beginning to rise, casting a golden hue over everything around us.
Hazel nodded vigorously, her curls bouncing with each movement. "Yes, Mommy! I can't wait to meet new friends and learn new things!"
Locking the door behind us, I couldn't help but feel a rush of pride and nostalgia, watching my little girl embark on this new adventure.
As we made our way towards Colorful Petals Kindergarten in the car, Hazel's excitement was palpable. Her chatter filled the space, talking about all the things she hoped to do and the friends she wanted to make. The vibrant energy was contagious, and I couldn't help but smile as I stole glances at her through the rearview mirror.
Upon arriving at the kindergarten, Hazel's enthusiasm flickered into nervousness. I gently unbuckled her from her car seat and held her hand, guiding her towards the classroom. But as we approached, her grip on my hand tightened, and I could see the worry etched on her face.
"Mommy, I don't feel good. I want to go home," Hazel whimpered softly, her voice tinged with anxiety.
Kneeling down to her level, I looked into her eyes, noticing the flicker of nervousness within them. I wrapped my arms around her, pulling her close in a reassuring hug. "Hazel, honey, you're going to be okay. It's normal to feel a little nervous on the first day. I promise you, you'll have so much fun, make lots of new friends, and learn amazing things. But if you still don't feel good by lunchtime, I'll come and pick you up, alright?"
"Okay," she whispered, her voice barely audible, but I could sense a slight ease in her tension.
With a gentle smile, I gave her a quick kiss on the forehead before walking her to her classroom. As we approached the door, her apprehension seemed to lessen, replaced by a glimmer of curiosity as she peered into the colorful room filled with toys and other children.
"You've got this, Hazel," I encouraged her softly, squeezing her hand before giving her one last reassuring smile as she stepped into her new classroom. Watching her take hesitant steps forward, I knew this was the start of her own journey, filled with discoveries and adventures, and I couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions - pride, anticipation, and a touch of wistfulness as I watched my little one begin her first day at kindergarten.
As I stood there, watching Hazel immerse herself in the activities, a voice interrupted my thoughts. I turned to see a striking woman standing beside me, her presence captivating.
"Is she yours?" the woman asked, her voice friendly and warm. I nodded, a proud smile forming on my lips.
"Yes, she is," I replied, feeling a mix of surprise and curiosity at the sudden conversation.
The woman's gaze shifted back to Hazel, and a soft smile graced her lips. "She looks like you. She's beautiful, just like her mom," she complimented, her eyes twinkling as she glanced at me and playfully winked.
The unexpected compliment caught me off guard, and I felt a rush of warmth spreading across my cheeks. "Thank you," I responded, feeling bashful yet appreciative of her kind words.
The woman chuckled softly, her demeanor friendly and welcoming. "You're doing a great job. Cherish these moments; they grow up so fast," she remarked, a hint of nostalgia in her voice.
I nodded, grateful for her encouragement and the shared sentiment. As I turned my attention back to Hazel, watching her giggle and interact with her new friends, I couldn't help but appreciate the kindness of the stranger's words and the reminder to treasure every moment of this precious journey.
The woman extended her hand with a warm smile. "My name is Kim Minjeong, but I'll be known as Miss Winter to the kids. I'm your daughter's teacher," she introduced herself.
"Nice to meet you, Miss Winter," I replied warmly, shaking her hand. The revelation that she was Hazel's teacher brought a sense of reassurance. Her friendly demeanor and the way she engaged with Hazel and the other children put me at ease.
"I'm glad Hazel has you as her teacher," I added with a smile, feeling a sense of gratitude knowing that my daughter was in capable and caring hands.
Miss Winter returned the smile, her eyes lighting up with enthusiasm. "I'm excited to have her in my class. She's already making friends," she remarked, gesturing toward Hazel, who was now engrossed in a playful activity with a few other children.
"She's a little nervous today, but I'm sure she'll settle in quickly," I shared, feeling a sense of relief discussing it with someone who seemed understanding and supportive.
Miss Winter nodded empathetically. "First days can be a bit overwhelming, but she's doing great. I'll make sure she feels comfortable and included," she assured me, her tone filled with warmth and confidence.
I thanked her, feeling grateful for her reassurance and dedication. As I glanced back at Hazel, seeing her laugh and engage with her newfound friends, a sense of confidence washed over me, knowing that Hazel was not only in good hands but also in an environment where she could flourish and grow.
As Miss Winter observed my evident nervousness, she offered a reassuring smile. "She'll be okay," she assured me softly, her voice carrying a soothing tone filled with understanding.
Relieved by her comforting words, I nodded gratefully. "Thank you," I replied, feeling a bit more at ease knowing that Hazel had someone as caring as Miss Winter looking out for her.
Her reassuring gaze lingered for a moment longer before she added, "If anything goes wrong, I'll be sure to call you," her words laced with a promise and a sense of reassurance.
"Thank you so much," I said, genuinely appreciative of her thoughtfulness. Knowing that I would be informed if needed alleviated some of the worry that lingered within me.
With a gentle smile, Miss Winter nodded at me. "I'll see you again when school is over," she said warmly, her attention drawn back to the children as she went to tend to them.
Her reassuring words lingered in the air, and I felt a sense of comfort knowing she would be there to guide Hazel through her first day. As she engaged with the children, I took one last glance at her, grateful for her presence and the promise of seeing her again at the end of the day.
The ringing bell signaled the start of the school day, prompting me to take it as my cue to depart. Glancing at Miss Winter, I observed her effortlessly gathering the children, her reassuring presence calming any lingering apprehension.
As I prepared to leave, our eyes met, and Miss Winter offered a reassuring grin, accompanied by a wave. It was a silent acknowledgment that Hazel was in capable hands, and I found comfort in her confidence.
Returning their gestures, I locked eyes with Hazel, who had noticed me too. She waved enthusiastically, blowing me a kiss. In response, I sent her a flying kiss back, accompanied by a warm smile, silently conveying my love and encouragement for her first day.
Seeing her smile widen and her excitement grow as she joined her peers, I felt a mix of emotions—pride, a hint of nostalgia, and a surge of hope for the adventures that awaited her. With a final wave, I turned away, feeling a sense of reassurance knowing Hazel was in good care and ready to embark on her exciting journey at school.
As the school day wound down and I received no calls, I felt a sense of relief knowing Hazel had settled in well. Heading towards the school, I saw Miss Winter gathering the children for departure. They formed a cheerful group, likely singing a tune they'd learned during the day.
While quietly observing, I met Miss Winter's eyes, and she offered me a friendly wink. It felt light-hearted, a gesture of camaraderie rather than flirtation, leaving me feeling a touch bashful but appreciative of her warmth.
When the bell rang, signaling the end of the day, a flurry of excited children hurried towards their waiting parents. Among them, Hazel stood beside Miss Winter, holding her hand as she waited for me. Hazel's bright smile conveyed her excitement about her day, while Miss Winter's warm presence by her side reflected the nurturing environment she had created in her classroom.
"Mommy!" Hazel's enthusiastic voice echoed as she leaped into my arms. "Hazel!" I echoed back, catching her and showering her with kisses. "How was your day, honey?" I inquired, eager to hear about her adventures.
"IT WAS AMAZING! Miss Winter is so fun! We did arts and crafts, she read us a book, and we played outside," Hazel excitedly began recounting her day, her words tumbling out in a rush.
I chuckled at her enthusiasm, gazing at her affectionately. "I'm glad you had a great time, baby," I said, my heart swelling with joy at her excitement.
Glancing over at Miss Winter, I noticed her watching us with a soft gaze and a small smile. "How was she, Miss Winter?" I asked, curious about Hazel's day from her perspective.
"She was perfect! You have real smartie pants here, and no need to call me Miss Winter, Minjeong is fine," she replied warmly, her eyes sparkling with fondness as she spoke about Hazel. Her reassurance and praise filled me with gratitude, knowing Hazel was thriving under her care.
"Thank you, Minjeong, for taking care of Hazel today. What do you say, Hazel?" I gently prompted, wanting her to express her gratitude.
"Thank you, Miss Winter. I had fun today," Hazel chimed in with a beaming smile, her enthusiasm evident in her words.
Minjeong, pleased with Hazel's response, nodded with a warm smile. "You're very welcome, Hazel. I'm glad you had a good time," she replied, her tone kind and encouraging.
It was heartwarming to witness Hazel's positive experience on her first day, and I felt grateful for the care and attention Minjeong had provided. With a final wave goodbye, I led Hazel away, excited to hear more about her adventures and looking forward to the days ahead at Colorful Petals Kindergarten.
Months have passed, and Hazel is loving kindergarten more and more every day, and I thank Minjeong for that. That woman knows what she is doing," I thought to myself as I immersed myself in my work.
The day was busy, and I was engrossed in various tasks when my phone suddenly rang, displaying the school's number. A sense of unease pricked at me as I answered the call, my voice tinged with apprehension. "Hello?" I said, trying to hide the worry that instantly settled in my chest.
"Hi, is this Y/n Y/Ln I'm talking to?" the familiar voice of Minjeong, Hazel's teacher, greeted me on the other end.
"Yes, this is she," I responded, my concern growing as I anticipated the reason for the call.
"Hi Y/n, it's me, Minjeong. Hazel had a little accident. She fell and scratched her leg, and she's quite upset, asking for you. Is it possible for you to come in at the moment?" Minjeong's voice remained calm but conveyed her concern for Hazel's well-being.
My heart skipped a beat, worry surging through me at the news. "Of course, I'll be there in 10 minutes," I confirmed hastily, my mind already racing as I gathered my belongings and made a swift decision to leave my office.
"Okay, drive safely. I'll see you soon," Minjeong's reassuring words offered a small sense of comfort in the midst of the unexpected situation.
With a sense of urgency and worry propelling me forward, I hurried out of the office, my thoughts consumed by the need to comfort Hazel. The details were scarce, but my concern for her well-being intensified with each passing second. The image of Hazel's tearful face lingered in my mind, fueling my determination to reach her side as swiftly as possible.
Arriving at the school, my heart raced as I hurried through the office, guided by the sound of my daughter's distressed cries. "Hazel, mommy’s here, it's okay," I reassured her, my voice filled with both urgency and comfort.
Rushing towards her, I enveloped Hazel in my arms, cradling her close. "Mommy," Hazel whimpered, seeking solace by burying her tear-streaked face in my neck.
Gently rubbing her back, I held her tight, offering words of comfort. "It's alright, sweetheart. I'm here now," I murmured softly, trying to soothe her distress. The weight of her small body in my arms filled me with a mix of concern and relief, my primary focus on comforting her in this moment of vulnerability.
"You've got a boo-boo, huh?" I asked gently, noticing the bandaid on her knee.
"Yes, it hurts," Hazel whimpered softly, her voice filled with discomfort.
"You want Mommy's magic kisses?" I suggested with a small grin, hoping to bring a smile to her face despite the pain.
"Yes, please," she replied with a sniffle, her trust and hope evident in her response.
With tender care, I leaned in, planting gentle kisses on the bandaged knee, each kiss accompanied by a whispered promise of healing. "There you go, magical healing kisses," I murmured, hoping to ease her pain with the comforting touch of a mother's love.
"Thank you, Mommy," Hazel murmured gratefully, her voice still tinged with discomfort.
"Of course, baby," I replied, gently caressing her face, trying to offer comfort in any way I could.
I noticed Minjeong standing nearby, observing the whole ordeal with a mix of concern and admiration on her face. I turned to her, seeking more details about what had occurred. "What happened?" I questioned, wanting to understand how Hazel had gotten hurt.
"She was running and she slipped," Minjeong explained, concern etched in her voice as she recounted the incident.
"I was having too much fun," Hazel murmured softly, a hint of remorse in her voice, as if acknowledging that her enthusiasm had led to the accident.
I gave Hazel a gentle squeeze, assuring her that accidents happen, while also directing my attention to Minjeong, expressing my gratitude for her care and concern. "Thank you for letting me know, Minjeong. I appreciate your help," I said, grateful for her presence and attentiveness in handling the situation.
"Of course, I did promise I would call if anything happened," Minjeong reassured me with a nod, emphasizing her commitment to keeping me informed.
"Thank you again. It's best if we head home now. I'm sure your students are waiting for you to come back," I acknowledged, understanding her responsibilities and the need to return to her classroom.
However, before I could make my way to Hazel and prepare to leave, Minjeong stopped me. "Oh, before that, I have a question to ask you. Do you mind if we speak privately for a quick minute?" she requested a hint of urgency in her tone.
Glancing at Hazel, I assured her that I would be right back and signaled for her to get ready to leave. "Sure, we can talk," I replied to Minjeong, signaling my willingness to have a brief conversation despite the urgency of getting Hazel home. I followed Minjeong to a quieter corner, curious about what she needed to discuss.
Minjeong's gentle voice carried concern as she spoke, taking a moment to express something that had been weighing on her mind. "I've noticed Hazel feeling a bit down sometimes when we talk about families. Her classmates often share stories about their weekends, mentioning what they do with their mom and dad. During playtime, they ask why her mom always picks her up and not her dad. I've noticed that when she draws, it's usually just you and her, not including her dad. I hope I'm not overstepping, but is Hazel's father involved in her life?"
Her words painted a picture of the social dynamics Hazel faced at school, the innocent inquiries of her peers inadvertently highlighting the absence of a father figure in her life. Minjeong's concern was evident, and her gentle approach reflected her genuine care for Hazel's well-being. She wanted to ensure she wasn't intruding but genuinely wished to understand Hazel's family situation to better support her emotionally in the classroom.
"I'm sorry, no, he's not," I admitted vulnerably, feeling a pang of sadness for Hazel's situation. "It's just me and her."
Minjeong listened attentively, her expression a blend of empathy and understanding. Her compassionate gaze offered a sense of comfort amid the delicate conversation. "Thank you for telling me. May I ask what happened?" she inquired gently, her tone reflecting her genuine concern and desire to offer support.
Her respectful approach conveyed a willingness to listen without judgment, creating a safe space for me to share the personal circumstances that led to Hazel growing up without her father's presence.
"He didn't want to take responsibility, so he left," I shared quietly, the weight of those words carrying both sadness and a hint of emotional strain.
Minjeong listened attentively, acknowledging my emotional vulnerability. With a compassionate gesture, she placed a supportive hand on my shoulder. "I'm sorry for overstepping," she offered empathetically, her touch a silent reassurance of her understanding.
"No, it's okay," I assured her, appreciating her concern. "You needed to know, so you can help Hazel emotionally if she ever talks about it." My voice held a mix of gratitude for her empathy and a hope that having this insight would aid in providing the support Hazel might need in navigating these sensitive feelings about her family situation.
Minjeong's supportive gesture and words of encouragement brought a sense of solace, yet the weight of being a single mother lingered heavily.
"Just so you know, you are doing a great job caring for her," Minjeong said with a soft smile, her sincerity palpable in the air.
Her acknowledgment struck a chord within me, causing tears to well up. "Thank you," I whispered, feeling an overwhelming mix of gratitude and vulnerability.
In the quiet moment that followed, I added with a sigh, "It's hard being a single mother at times." The admission carried the weight of the challenges and emotions I grappled with, a brief glimpse into the complexities that often accompanied the role I held in Hazel's life.
Minjeong's empathy was both unexpected and deeply appreciated. Her offer of support resonated, bringing a sense of relief in a moment of vulnerability.
"I get it, if you ever need someone to talk to, I'm here for you," Minjeong offered, her voice carrying a genuine sincerity that touched my heart.
Her kindness was a beacon of light amid the challenges I faced. I nodded, grateful for her understanding. "Thank you, that means a lot," I replied softly, touched by her gesture of compassion and the willingness to lend an ear when needed. Her willingness to offer support in return conveyed a sense of mutual care and solidarity that I deeply cherished.
"Alright, I'll let you and Hazel head home. Remember, if you need anything, I'm here for you," Minjeong said, her voice filled with reassurance and care.
"Thank you so much, Minjeong," I replied, feeling genuinely grateful for her understanding and support.
With a nod and a gentle smile, Minjeong allowed us to prepare to leave, her words lingering as a comforting reminder that support was just a call away. As I gathered Hazel, I felt a sense of gratitude for having such a caring teacher in her life, someone who not only looked after her education but also offered genuine support in times of need.
━━━━━━ʕ•㉨•ʔ━━━━━━━
The holiday rush had me darting through the grocery store aisles, focused on finding snacks Hazel would enjoy and making sure to grab plenty of fruit—knowing her penchant for it.
Amidst the hustle, my cart unexpectedly collided with another. "I am so sorry," I began to apologize, looking up quickly to see who I'd bumped into.
"Y/n?" the familiar voice exclaimed.
"Minjeong! Oh my god, how are you doing?" I greeted her with surprise and a smile, momentarily pausing my shopping to catch up. "Sorry for bumping into you."
Our chance encounter brought a sense of warmth amidst the holiday chaos. It was a pleasant surprise to meet someone familiar during the bustling preparations, and I was eager to share a quick catch-up with Minjeong.
"I'm doing well. Where's Hazel?" Minjeong asked, noticing her absence.
"She's at my sister's house for a sleepover with her cousins," I explained with a chuckle. "They put on a whole musical dance number last night to convince us to let them have a sleepover."
The memory brought a smile to my face—the sight of Hazel and her cousins enthusiastically performing their 'persuasion' act to sway us into agreeing to the sleepover was both endearing and amusing. It was moments like these that made the holiday season even more special.
"Kids are just too funny. That's why I wanted to become a teacher—because of my love for them and how their minds work," Minjeong shared, her chuckle echoing the sentiment.
"Does that mean you're alone for the night?" she asked, noting Hazel's absence and perhaps sensing my evening plans.
"Yeah, I will be. I'll probably catch up on some shows and have a glass of wine," I replied, contemplating how to spend the evening.
"I mean, I don't want you to be alone. How about you come over to my house? I'll even make you dinner," Minjeong suggested with a warm smile, extending an invitation filled with kindness and consideration.
Her offer was unexpectedly thoughtful, and the prospect of spending the evening in good company was tempting. It was a gesture that touched my heart, knowing that spending time together could bring a sense of comfort during the holiday season.
"I wouldn't want to intrude," I hesitated, feeling grateful for her invitation but also not wanting to impose.
"Not at all. We know each other enough. Think of it as friends hanging out and having fun," Minjeong reassured me, her words carrying a sense of warmth and genuine camaraderie.
Her assurance eased my uncertainty, reminding me of the bond we shared and the comfort of spending time together. It was an invitation extended with sincerity, paving the way for a relaxed and enjoyable evening, free from any formality or obligation.
"Sure, it sounds like fun. Count me in," I replied with a smile, feeling more excited about the evening ahead.
"Great! Here, let me give you my number so I can text you my address," Minjeong offered, reaching out for my phone. I handed it to her, and she swiftly typed in her details.
"There, I'll see you around, let's say 5?" she proposed, finalizing the plans.
"5 works great!" I confirmed, feeling a sense of anticipation for the gathering.
"Great! I'll see you soon!" Minjeong said cheerfully, waving as she walked away, leaving me looking forward to an evening of warmth, good company, and shared laughter during the festive season.
The anticipation of the evening with Minjeong stirred nerves within me, reminiscent of the feeling before a first date. My mind wandered, recalling the last time I felt such jitters—meeting Hazel's father. The similarity sent a rush of conflicting emotions through me.
━━━━━━ʕ•㉨•ʔ━━━━━━━
The upcoming dinner with Minjeong had my nerves all jumbled up. It felt like stepping into uncharted territory, carrying the weight of a first date's anticipation. The pressure to strike the right balance between casual and presentable was real as I picked out my outfit. I settled for a comfortable white sweater and jeans, hoping it wouldn't seem too much or too little.
There was something different about this dinner, a nervousness I couldn't quite shake off. It wasn't just a casual meet-up; it felt significant. Memories of past significant encounters flooded my mind, adding to the nerves of the evening.
The uncertainty loomed, making even the simplest decisions feel like navigating a minefield. Was I overthinking this? Perhaps. But there was an undeniable sense of anticipation mixed with apprehension.
Despite the nerves, there was a curious excitement, a desire to spend time with Minjeong, someone who felt more than just a friend. It was a cocktail of emotions—nervousness, excitement, and a touch of curiosity—creating a whirlwind within me as the time for the dinner drew closer.

Minjeong’s POV
I glanced at the clock, realizing that the evening was fast approaching. Despite my attempts to calm myself, my nerves were on edge. It wasn't just a casual hangout for me; it meant more.
Preparing for Y/n's visit, I found myself fussing over the smallest details. I wanted everything to be perfect, perhaps more than what was necessary for just friends spending time together. Deep down, I held feelings for Y/n that I hadn't confessed, and tonight felt like an opportunity to create a memorable moment.
As I tidied up, thoughts of Y/n filled my mind. I wanted to make a good impression, to be the best version of myself. Each arrangement in the house was meticulously considered, a reflection of the anticipation and excitement I felt about the evening ahead.
Despite the nervousness stirring within, I couldn't deny the flutter of excitement at the prospect of spending time with someone I cared for deeply. Little did I know, tonight might hold a chance to reveal emotions that I had kept hidden for so long.
As I heard the soft knock on my door, signaling Y/n's arrival, my heart skipped a beat. Anticipation surged through me, and I hastily adjusted my clothes while wiping the sweat off my palms. Walking to the door, I felt a rush of nervous excitement.
Opening the door, I was met by Y/n, looking as beautiful as ever. My heart raced faster at the sight of her. "Y/n, welcome!" I greeted her warmly, smiling as I stepped aside to invite her in.
She walked past me, and her delightful perfume lingered in the air. "Minjeong, thank you for inviting me," she said, her smile illuminating the room.
Feeling overwhelmed, I couldn't help but think, 'I could've fainted right there' at the sight of her smile. "I love your home! It's so cozy," she exclaimed, admiring the interior design.
"Thank you, I worked hard to make this house a home," I chuckled nervously, feeling a mix of happiness and nervousness at her compliment.
Her admiration for the cozy atmosphere made my heart swell with pride, but also added to the nerves coursing through me. "It's all thanks to your presence," I almost blurted out, acknowledging how her being there added a special warmth to the space.
"Here, let me help you with that," I offered, assisting her in taking off her jacket and hanging it on the rack.
"Thank you," she replied gratefully.
"Of course, make yourself comfortable," I encouraged, gesturing for her to settle in. "My home is your home." The words slipped out, expressing my genuine desire to make her feel welcome and at ease in my space.
She chuckled softly. "I brought some wine for us to share," she said, holding up the bottle.
"What, you didn't have to," I responded, a hint of surprise in my voice as I took the wine from her hands. Despite my surprise, I couldn't help but appreciate the thoughtful gesture.
"I couldn't come empty-handed," she explained with a smile, her eyes reflecting a hint of excitement about sharing the wine.
"Well, thank you for the wine. We will for sure drink it," I replied gratefully, feeling touched by her considerate gesture.
"Come on, let's eat. You must be starving," I suggested, leading her towards the kitchen and offering her a seat. I went to the cupboard to retrieve some wine glasses, eager to share the wine she had brought. Carefully, I poured us each a glass, ready to start the evening off on a delightful note.

Y/n POV
The dinner conversation flowed effortlessly between Minjeong and I, touching on various topics—work, our interests, Hazel, our past experiences, and more. With each passing moment, I found myself drawn to Minjeong's personality and warmth.
The more I got to know her, the more I found myself liking her. There was a natural ease to our conversation, a comfortable camaraderie that made being around her feel effortless. It was as if I had known her for far longer than just this evening.
It was a strange sensation—one I hadn't felt in a long time. Being around Minjeong stirred up emotions reminiscent of a high school crush, a feeling I hadn't experienced since Hazel's father. The way she made me laugh, the way our conversations flowed, it all felt strangely familiar yet entirely new. It was a whirlwind of emotions, stirring up both excitement and a hint of apprehension, yet also offering a sense of newfound happiness.
"Here, would you like some more wine?" Minjeong asked in a soft tone, offering to refill our glasses.
"I don't know... I still need to get home," I replied, a sense of responsibility tugging at me despite the desire to stay longer.
"You've been drinking. I won't let you drink and drive. I have an extra room for you, so stay and have another drink," Minjeong said, her expression a mix of concern and teasing, playfully convincing me.
"Alright," I said with a giggle, her playful insistence melting away my reservations. The warmth of her concern and the comfort of her invitation made it easy to agree.
Minjeong's sudden pause of the movie drew my attention, and I glanced at her, sensing something was amiss. Her fingers fidgeted nervously, and a flash of anxiety crossed her eyes, making me instinctively reach out, placing my hand on her lap to offer support.
"Minjeong, are you okay?" I asked, my concern evident as I tried to gauge what was troubling her.
Her words spilled out in a rush, "Y/n, I like you," she blurted, immediately covering her mouth in shock. My own eyes widened in surprise at her unexpected confession.
"Shit, sorry, that was not how I planned to confess," she nervously apologized, then took my hands in hers, meeting my gaze with sincerity.
“Y/n I've been wanting to share something with you for a while now. From the first day we connected, I've admired your strength and the incredible love you pour into your role as a single parent. Your dedication to your child and the way you nurture and support them is both inspiring and heartwarming. As we've gotten to know each other, I've come to appreciate your resilience and the depth of your kindness. The more I learn about you, the more I realize what an amazing person you are. Your ability to balance the responsibilities of parenthood with your own aspirations and dreams is something truly admirable. I've found myself drawn to you in a way I didn't expect. Your compassion, your unwavering commitment, and the beautiful way you navigate life have touched my heart. I admire your courage, your ability to love deeply, and the sacrifices you make for your child. I want you to know that I see you, not just as an incredible parent but as an extraordinary individual. Your strength, your warmth, and your resilience have deeply resonated with me. I feel a genuine connection with you that I haven't experienced before. I understand that your child is your priority, and I respect that entirely. But I also wanted to share that I've developed feelings for you beyond friendship. I admire and care for you in a way that goes beyond words. I hope this doesn't complicate things or make you uncomfortable in any way. Your happiness and comfort are incredibly important to me. Regardless of what happens next, I treasure the bond we've formed and value your friendship deeply. I would love nothing more than the chance to take you on a proper date and continue discovering the depths of who you are. Your presence in my life has been a gift, and I would be honored if you'd consider exploring this journey with me. What do you say?"
In that moment of unspoken connection, I sensed the weight of anticipation lingering between us. Minjeong's eyes mirrored a mix of hope and uncertainty, eagerly awaiting my response. But as our gazes locked, a surge of emotions overwhelmed me, rendering words unnecessary.
Without hesitation, I bridged the space between us, feeling a rush of longing and affection. With a gentle yet decisive motion, I cupped her face in my hands, drawing her close. Our lips met in a fervent, passionate kiss that spoke volumes about the emotions stirring within us.
The kiss was an outpouring of pent-up emotions—tenderness, desire, and an unspoken promise of exploring what lay between us. In that heartfelt embrace, time seemed to stand still, enveloping us in a shared moment where words could never capture the depth of our connection.
With a soft pull, I gently drew away, my eyes locked with Minjeong, both of us still lost in the lingering haze of our kiss. "I would love to go on a date with you," I uttered, a smile naturally lighting up my face.
As my words sunk in, Minjeong's initial daze dispersed, replaced by a sudden realization. A radiant smile broke across her face, an expression of pure joy and relief. Without a word, she leaned in, closing the gap between us, her lips meeting mine in another tender, impassioned kiss.
Soft sighs escaped, lost in the symphony of our shared breaths.
The kiss deepened, a slow dance of passion and longing. Our mouths moved in a harmonious rhythm, each touch fueling an insatiable hunger. Fingertips lightly grazed, tracing the contours of cheeks and necks, seeking the warmth and connection that only skin-to-skin contact can offer.
There was an unspoken urgency, a magnetic pull drawing us impossibly closer. The taste of anticipation lingered, mingling with the sweetness of shared desire. In that intimate moment, time seemed to stand still, the world around us fading into insignificance.
As our kiss slowly drew to a tender conclusion, Minjeong gently withdrew, her eyes fixed upon mine, a soft, reverent gaze that held a multitude of unspoken sentiments. There was an intimacy in her touch as she delicately brushed a stray tendril of my hair behind my ear, a tender gesture that conveyed a world of emotion.
"You're beautiful," she murmured, her words carrying a weight of sincerity that sent a rush of warmth coursing through me. It was a simple phrase but uttered with such genuine admiration that it resonated deeply, making my heart flutter.
She pulled me close, inviting me into an embrace that felt like a safe haven, where our bodies molded together in perfect synchrony. The air was charged with the remnants of our shared moment, an ambiance of tenderness and quiet affection that enveloped us.
Nestled against each other, we resumed our cozy position, Minjeong's arms wrapped around me protectively. With a tender smile, she resumed the paused movie, the sound of its soundtrack serving as a soothing backdrop to our shared space.
As the movie's end credits rolled and the room fell into a gentle quiet, Minjeong reached over, switching off the TV before rising from the couch, gently pulling me up with her. There was an effortless ease in her touch as she held me close for a fleeting moment, the connection between us palpable, before guiding me toward her room.
"Let's go get ready for bed," she suggested, her tone gentle and inviting. Following her lead, I trailed behind as she retrieved toothbrushes from her bathroom cabinet, handing one to me with a warm smile. Our simple act of brushing our teeth together felt oddly intimate, our bodies slightly brushing against each other, sharing smiles in the mirror.
After finishing, she fetched a set of clothes from her closet and handed them to me with a kind gesture. "Here, wear these," she said, her considerate nature shining through. I excused myself to change in the bathroom, but as I returned, I inadvertently walked in on Minjeong as she slipped her shirt on, revealing the subtle contours of muscles along her back. A momentary pause hung in the air before she turned, catching me in the act.
"Enjoyed the show?" she teased, a playful smirk gracing her lips, causing a warm flush to spread across my cheeks. "Maybe," I teased back, our laughter filling the room, easing any momentary tension.
"You look amazing in my clothes," she complimented, her eyes meeting mine with a soft gaze. With a subtle nod toward her bed, she extended an invitation. "Come join me in bed."
I hesitated, considering the guest room, but Minjeong's playful insistence rang through her words. "Y/n, I'm not asking, I'm telling you," she teased, her tone lighthearted but determined. Her invitation held a warmth that dissolved any hesitation, leaving me feeling welcomed and embraced in her presence.
Lying in bed, I felt Minjeong's comforting presence envelop me as she drew me into her embrace. A sigh of contentment escaped her lips as she expressed, "I had fun today," her voice carrying a soft, tender tone. I gazed up at her, meeting her eyes, and echoed her sentiment, "Me too," feeling a sense of calmness wash over me, mirroring her contentment.
"Sweet dreams, Y/n," she whispered softly, but I was already on the cusp of sleep, drifting into a serene slumber wrapped in the tranquility of the moment. Her gentle words lingered in the air, offering a soothing backdrop to the peacefulness of the night as sleep began to claim its hold on me.
In the soft haze of the morning light filtering through the windows, I stirred awake, reaching out for Minjeong, only to find the space beside me empty. A faint aroma of breakfast wafted through the air, pulling me out of the cozy embrace of the bed. Curiosity piqued, I ventured out in search of her, finding Minjeong standing by the stove, tending to breakfast.
Unable to resist the urge, I quietly approached her, wrapping my arms around her from behind, nuzzling my face into the warmth of her back, breathing in her comforting scent. "Good morning," she greeted softly, her eyes meeting mine in the reflection of the kitchen window, holding a tender adoration in her gaze as she turned around to reciprocate the hug.
"Morning," I whispered back, reveling in the warmth of her embrace, feeling a tranquil intimacy settle between us. We stood there for a while, entwined in each other's arms, relishing the serene moment that spoke volumes without needing any words. It was a quiet yet profound acknowledgment of the comfort found in each other's presence.
"How was your sleep?" Minjeong inquired, her gentle fingers brushing strands of hair away from my face, a tender smile gracing her lips.
"Amazing with you there," I replied, a genuine smile forming on my face, noting the faint blush that colored Minjeong's cheeks in response to my words. Her warmth was infectious.
"I made us breakfast. Go freshen up a bit, it will be done soon," she suggested, her voice carrying a hint of affection. I leaned in, planting a soft kiss on her cheek in gratitude before heading to freshen up.
Upon my return, I found Minjeong setting the plates down on the table, a spread of breakfast awaiting us. I settled beside her, and together, we indulged in the morning meal, the quiet ambiance of the room filled with a soothing conversation that flowed effortlessly between us.
With every bite, our conversation deepened, sharing thoughts and anecdotes that painted a tranquil atmosphere, where the simple pleasure of each other's company became the highlight of the morning. It was in these tranquil moments, amidst the shared meal, that our connection blossomed, wordlessly affirming the comfort found in each other's presence.
With the last bites of breakfast disappearing, a serene air lingered between us. Minjeong turned to me, affection glistening in her eyes, a subtle hint of nervousness woven into her expression.
"Y/n, I know this may be fast, but will you be my girlfriend?" Her hopeful gaze fixated on me, carrying an earnest desire for my response.
"I would love to be your girl, Minjeong," I replied, my voice filled with adoration and certainty. The warmth of my words seemed to ignite a radiant joy within her.
Minjeong, overcome with giddiness, rose from her seat, drawing me into her embrace. As she pulled away slightly, her hands cupped my face gently, guiding me into a sweet and tender kiss that felt like a gentle promise of a journey yet to unfold.
━━━━━━ʕ•㉨•ʔ━━━━━━━
As the months rolled by, Minjeong and I found ourselves steeped in happiness, our bond growing stronger with each passing day. Around the third month of our relationship, we decided to share the news with Hazel, inviting her into this new chapter of our lives.
Hazel's reaction was beyond heartwarming—she was positively ecstatic. Her eyes lit up with joy, her excitement palpable as she embraced the idea of us being together. Miss Winter, who had been a constant in Hazel's life, was not only her cherished teacher but also someone she deeply admired. Knowing that her mommy had found love with someone as wonderful as Miss Winter filled Hazel with immense happiness.
The acceptance and excitement from Hazel served as a confirmation for us, reassuring us that our decision was not only right but also something that would bring joy and positivity into our lives. Seeing Hazel's enthusiasm and support made our relationship feel even more special and complete.
━━━━━━ʕ•㉨•ʔ━━━━━━━
Two years had swiftly passed, marked by profound moments and cherished memories. Minjeong and I had taken the leap, deciding to intertwine our lives in marriage. For Hazel's 6th birthday, she chose a beach outing, a simple yet joyous celebration.
On the sun-kissed shore, Hazel and Minjeong wandered near the water's edge, engaged in the delightful pursuit of collecting sea shells. Meanwhile, I sat comfortably under the shade of an umbrella, cradling our 5-month-old baby girl, Jade, in my arms. The tranquil sounds of the ocean merged with the laughter of Hazel and the gentle waves, creating a perfect symphony of contentment.
As I watched my family, an overwhelming sense of completeness enveloped me. Everything felt just right, and in that moment, I realized that having my loved ones gathered around me was all I ever needed. The sight of Minjeong and Hazel's joy, the sound of the ocean, and the presence of our little Jade felt like a snapshot of pure happiness, etching a beautiful memory in the album of our lives.

DELICATE✰ CHARLES LECLERC.
INTRO: who's y/n anyway? ew.

Tumblr media
Soft jazz is playing in the living room of y/n y/ln's apartment in SoHo, with all the curtains pulled back the golden hour feels like a golden infinity. We're already in our second cup of coffee, a specialty brought from Veracruz, Mexico by y/n herself.
This is not our first meeting, y/n and I go back a few years, when the box-office hit 'Supercut' sent her straight into stardom and earned her a place in the public's heart. Since then, there has been no other way but up for the young star.
From humble beginnings and a list of failed castings, roles as an extra and endless photoshoots with stock images, y/n knows what it's like to work hard to achieve what you want.
"Sometimes, when I look back at my struggles I wonder what made the universe align in my favor. Hard work only gets you so far, I am incredibly lucky too." She says, eyeing the framed picture of the wrap-up day of her very first movie 'Loneliness', where she played the daughter of a struggling waitress.
"I was in about six scenes, but I couldn't have been more thrilled. It was the first time I felt like a real actress."
Tumblr media
Of course, there are other aspects of her life where y/n is extremely fortunate. It has been two years since she started dating Asian-American hearthrob Aidan Kim. Looks like 'Supercut' really was her luckiest strike.
"We do like to keep some things to ourselves," y/n laughs after I ask her for an update on her relationship, I want to know the details behind the lovestagrams we get on a regular basis. "We love and respect each other deeply."
Night has fallen in SoHo and while y/n shuts the curtains, I take my surroundings in once again. A loveseat with a stain on the cushion, a coffee table that Aidan brought from a trip to Nepal where he filmed his newest project, framed pictures of the couple and their families crowd the room. This is the home they have built for themselves.
Tumblr media
Some may argue that y/n's specialty are romantic comedies where she gets to play the doe-eyed love interest to the dark and handsome male protagonist, but y/n has her sights set on bigger things. An Oscar nomination, maybe?
"I have fun with the movies I make, but I do want to expand my horizons. I have so many ideas I want to try, I just need a shot to prove myself." She beams with hope, in an ideal world, type-casting wouldn't be a thing.
Speaking of tall, dark and handsome, just as we're about to wrap things up, the door to the apartment opens and Aidan Kim himself comes through bearing a bouquet of roses and bag of take out. A sheepish grin bursts through his face as he realizes the interruption, and does his best attempt to disappear, not before giving a proud thumbs up to his girlfriend. This peek into their private life is enough to see how much they love each other.
"Thank you so much for coming," y/n has been an excellent host this evening, and I am happy to leave her to attend to her love nest. "It was a pleasure."

Chelsea Gonzalez: I just- I feel like y/n is so lazy at this point. Girl you have been doing romcoms for years read a different script.
Gabriel Irwin: [laughs] I don’t think she even reads them anymore. It’s the same role every time that’s just the way she acts on a normal basis now.
Brianna Martin: that’s so mean! Honestly I just feel like she needs to switch agents, there were rumors about that marvel movie and then nothing happened?

y/n: Oh, uh… yeah I mean, one is fiction and another one isn’t? [laughs] real life relationships are definitely not like the movies.
Ryan Campbell: But how does it feel knowing everyone wishes they were you? I know I do!

1 | a perfect day
Part 1 of Marinette Dupain-Cheng is Dead | Masterlist
The place they reserved was beautiful: the greenhouse-type of dining with ferns and orchids hanging from the glass ceiling and walls, a lush green against the pristine white of their chairs and table napkins. The day was blessed with fair weather so just the right amount of sunlight was cascading down on them which fit the light hum of the festive music from the speakers. Even the hostess herself was a sight to behold—a flowery off-shoulder dress, curled brown hair, and pastel manicured nails.
Sabrina truly felt she was in another world.
Their hostess stood up, holding her wine glass in one hand. "I'd like to make a toast." She beamed. "To everyone here, who accepted my invitation for a humble reunion."
She looked at them on by one, first at Alya who seemed to cling at her every word, then moved down the table to Nino, Rose, Juleka, Max, Kim, and so on. These were faces of now acclaimed people, successful in their respective fields. "It seems it was just yesterday when we were only students in Ms. Bustier's class," she continued, "But in reality, we've been through a lot. Ups and downs, pains and losses. But I'm proud of us for sticking together, for keeping in touch after all these years."
A star in the social media field, and a proud founder and CEO of her brand. Lilia Ross. That was the alias she had been using when she was stepping into fame. But to Sabrina, she'll always be Lila, the charming girl who once was a transfer student in their class.
"To us!" Lila cheered, raising her glass up in the air. They all followed suit, some laughing a little and others bursting into lively conversation.
Sabrina took a sip of her drink, turning to her left. "It really has been so long, hasn't it, Chloe?"
The blonde appeared to be in some kind of stupor, but her friend's words shook her out of it. "Huh?"
"I said it's been so long."
Chloe rubbed the bridge of her nose. "Uh, yeah, you're right."
"Are you okay?"
She gave a smile of reassurance. "Yeah, I'm fine. Sorry, it's just . . . stress from work."
Sabrina was about to suggest she get some rest first when the wooden doors opened, revealing another familiar face from their teen years. Large sweater over a collared piece. A priceless watch. Golden hair fixed to look stylishly unkempt.
The man greeted them, "Hey, I hope I'm not too late?"
At the head of the table, Lila's jaw dropped open. "A—Adrien?"
"That's me," he chuckled lowly, rubbing the back of his neck. "Long time no see, everyone."
The others, too, couldn't mask their shock—understandably so. Adrien Agreste had been out of the public eye for the past seven months, halting his modeling career and laying low in god knows where. Even Sabrina couldn't remember when she had last seen him.
It was Alya who stood up, grabbing a seat for their new guest. "It's been so long!" She said. "Come here, sit. Where have you been and why were you so unreachable?"
"Yeah, man, I even tried visiting your old house in Paris. They said you weren't there." Kim, meanwhile, passed a plate to him.
"I'm really sorry for that." Adrien gave a sheepish look. "I was too focused on taking time for myself. I'm on hiatus from modeling—I didn't mean to cut everyone off. But I wanted to make it to this reunion!"
At that second, Sabrina's phone began to buzz a notification.
"It's alright to take a break sometimes," Mylene consoled. "Are you going back to modeling soon?"
Adrien shrugged. "I'm not sure yet; I might try out other things and see what works for me."
The phone vibrated again, a few times in succession this time.
"What about working with me?" Alix offered. "I need some extra hands around the museum. Minimal experience needed! I'll teach you everything I know."
The nth buzz sounded and Sabrina pulled out her phone from her purse to completely silence it but then she caught a glimpse of Chloe. She looked pale as a sheet, staring down at her unfinished plate.
Sabrina leaned. "Chlo—"
Buzz. Buzz.
Frowning, Sabrina unlocked her phone to check what the incessant ringing was all about. There were tweets, articles, posts, and messages filling up the screen like something had blown up. And something might as well have.
Her eyes widened when she tapped on an article.
Alya's voice rang out. She, too, was looking at her phone. "Hey, Lila, what's this all about?"
"Hm? Is it about my magazine feature?"
"No, it's not," Sabrina whispered.
There in bold letters the words were summoning up a storm: 'The Truth About Lilia Ross: She's Not Who You Think She Is' .
***
Saturday morning saw Jason Todd at the Wayne manor's dining table, munching on a piece of toast with jam. He stayed the night after patrol upon Alfred's insistence, and then remained for breakfast after some more badgering.
The second eldest raised an eyebrow when Bruce strolled into room wearing office clothes.
"Event at WE today," Bruce explained, making a coffee for himself. "Tim, feet off the table please."
Tim, who was stuck to his phone, let out an incoherent mumble before putting his feet down.
"Lilia Ross," uttered Bruce. "Does that name ring a bell?"
"French-Italian, founder and CEO of Lilia Designs, sells clothing and cosmetics," Tim supplied in a monotonous voice. "She's more famous as an influencer though. In the past few days, there have been a lot of rumors popping up about her. Why do you ask?"
"PR at WE asked me. They wondered if I knew her."
"What does she have to do with Wayne Enterprises?" Damian chimed in.
Celebrities and trends never piqued Jason's interest—he focused on eating, debating internally if he should purchase more handguns to replace a couple that he lost.
"She's been promoting our products even if she's not legally affiliated with WE," Tim explained whilst gulping down his daily dose of caffeine. "She's just trying to fish for a real sponsorship or partnership. Her brand's getting famous in Gotham, you know."
"It's not much of a concern for the company then. Our lawyers will be able to handle it if her so-called scandals affect WE," said Bruce.
"True, but it's still weird. This is her first major backlash on the internet and there's a lot of—" Tim did air quotes with his fingers, "—'anonymous witnesses' coming forward to show her 'true colors'."
"How is that different from the usual celebrity rumors?" asked Damian.
Okay, maybe Jason was a little curious.
He discreetly pulled his phone out to check the articles popping out online. And there were many, as if testimonies were spewing from a never-ending fountain.
'eiffelparis12: don't fall for it. she bought all those views and likes. fake *****'
'coffeecake: I worked as a stylist in a studio once. She was at our show...I didn't expect her to be so two-faced! She was so rude to the producer's assistant and kept bossing her around. The poor guy didn't even get to eat.'
'seaasss: her products arent even that good. lol.'
'venusred: she bought her way to be in our blog's feature. i'm pretty sure she has an anonymous sponsor.'
'harpyre: OMG! does she even pay her employees enough?'
'silverberry640: no way, lilia doesn't deserve this! there's no proof.'
'ngc5195: this is what fame does to all of them......sad.'
Jason looked up again when Bruce spoke. "For now, WE isn't obligated to proceed with legal action and we're not actually involved anyway. I'm sure this will pass on its own."
He wasn't wrong. Scandals came and went; people liked to throw stones at one person then move on to the next after the damage was done.
"Or not," Tim suddenly said, staring at something on his phone "Shit."
"What is it?" asked Bruce.
Tim read the words aloud. "Influencer Lilia Ross, accused of murdering former classmate."

(gif creds) SOMETHING THERE -> minji kim is a problem you can't seem to solve.
minji x reader word count: 1.2k warnings: just some swearing and minji being frustrating
a/n: i honestly dk what this is... it could be way better but i was really itching to put something out. nonetheless, i hope you enjoy it! (not proofread as usual lmao)
“this one is wrong too, y/n” minji circles the incorrect answer you wrote with her red marker. “you know, it’s mistakes like these that can make or break scores,” she looks to you and smiles before continuing to mark the practice test she specifically made for you.
you gaze at the dark haired girl in front of you. she held your hand, thumb gently caressing your knuckles. her eyebrows were creased as she concentrated on your test. she was sporting the baseball cap you always wore and was drowning in your favourite oversized hoodie that was almost twice the size as her. she’s unaware that you’d been staring at her this whole time, trying to study her and figure her out.
because honestly, minji kim is so fucking confusing.
your ears perk up when you hear a familiar voice coming from down the hallway. you take a quick look in the mirror that hung on your locker door, ensuring you looked somewhat presentable for the girl about to pass by you. you close the door just in time to find minji just a few steps from you.
“hey minji!” you beam a bright smile her way. “are we still good for later? i can order takeout if you-”
“mhm, i’ll meet you at the gate” she says robotically, not even bothering to reciprocate your smile which has now faded as you watch her walk past you without sparing another word or glance towards you.
oddly enough, that’s how minji always was with you in school. she never uttered more than a sentence towards you and rarely ever smiled in your direction. you noticed she wasn’t this cold to anyone else, and she definitely wasn’t like this whenever you two were along together in the comfort of your own home.
it was almost like a routine. once your front door closes, she’ll make her way into your arms to intoxicate herself with the smell of your cologne while she lets herself sink into you. she’s exhausted again, you’ll think to yourself as you peek down at the girl resting in your arms. “ready to study?” she’ll ask as she peels herself away from your body. then she’ll grab your hands and leads you to the dining table to start your tutoring session. that’s how it always was with minji. maybe she only knew how to love you behind closed doors, and you were okay with that if it meant getting to experience what it was like to be loved by her.
the sound of the doorbell causes you to nearly trip down the stairs as you make your way to the front entrance. when the person you’ve been expecting appears in front of you, you instantly hold up your test paper to the girl, making sure you’re flashing the big red 97% right in front of her eyes. she lets herself in and grabs it for herself, and you watch a smile grow as she flipped through each page before she excitedly starts jumping around.
“see, i knew you could do it! i’m so proud of you y/n,” she wraps her arms around your neck and tries to pull you in for a tight hug, but you take her arms off of you and push her away gently.
“minji wait, stop.” the girl backs down and creates some distance between you two, confusion making its way on her face. “what’s wrong y/n?”
“i don’t think it’s fair that you act like this around me now and then be a bitch again once you leave.”
the arm holding your test drops by her side as the other reaches up to pinch the bridge of her nose, irritation and disappointment evident on her face. she lets out a deep sigh, “bro please, not this conversation again.”
“no bro. every time i try to bring this up, you always shut it down. can’t you see i’m tired of all your stupid games?” you spat. “whatever this is needs to stop because i can’t fucking understand you at all.”
“what games are you talking about? y/n, i’m here to tutor you just like you asked me to, so i don’t know where all of this is coming from.”
“oh my fucking god minji, what is wrong with you?” her expression remains blank, waiting for you to continue the conversation.
“why do you act like you don’t have feelings for me?” she nearly laughs at your question
“what the hell made you think i have feelings for you?”
you looked at her in disbelief. every word minji spoke to you, even if it had to be behind closed doors, were enough to make you believe she felt something for you too. hell, her voice alone was enough to have you kicking your feet and twirling your hair like some fool who was madly in love. you always disregarded how cold she would be in public and tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, always trying to give her any possible explanation for her attitude towards you whenever you weren’t being tutored, but now you don’t know what to think. if you were confused before, now you were just lost at this point.
“do you not see yourself when we’re alone together?”
“y/n, you need to stop overthinking how i act around you.”
“are you being for real right now? bro you-”
“honestly, i think you’re an idiot for thinking that i’d have any feelings for you.”
her words rang in your ears, echoing over and over like a broken record. there’s no way you misinterpreted how she was acting towards you. anyone who saw you two together would believe that you two were a thing. fuck, even you believed that something was there between the two of you.
“then why the fuck do you act like this when we’re alone?”
“act like what? you know friends can act like this too, y/n.”
“no, you know what? forget it. i think you should just go, i can study on my own,” you seethe through gritted teeth, fists tightly clenched as you fought the tears forming in your eyes.
“what, you’re getting rid of me? with finals aroun-”
“get out of my house, minji. please.” she opens her mouth in attempts to protest, but instead just accepts defeat and turns to leave.
she stands on your front porch and could hear you sobbing before being startled by the sound of glass shattering on the ground. for what seemed like hours, she internally debates whether she should go inside and check on you or just go straight home. she raises her fist to knock on the door but quickly changes her mind and chooses to make her way home because she knew the last thing you wanted was to see her right now.
minji is a smart girl. she’s a straight A student who knew how to solve problems that others had trouble doing, which is why you asked her to tutor you in the first place. now she was the one who was confused.
why couldn’t she just admit that she was in love with you?

Birthday Girl
Pairings: Kim Chaewon x Reader
Summary: You go all out for your leader's birthday. When Chaewon finds out it was all your plan, she can't help but feel confuse and astonish. You two aren't as close with each other like how she is with the other members. Would your act of service finally get Chaewon to notice you?
Warning(s): none
A/N: Sorry, I'm terrible at summarizing. I wrote this all today. This is my first KPOP Idol related story!! I wanted to get a story out on Chaewon's birthday. Thanks for reading!
Tumblr media
You and Chaewon were never close. You'd both consider yourselves friends and groupmates. However, your relationship with each other aren't like her relationship with the others. It's not like she has anything against you or you with her. You both just never had a chance to connect with each other. Chaewon is a busy person and when she isn't Eunchae or Yunjin usually has all her attention. Let alone, Chaewon is known to be hard to get close to.
Nevertheless, you're closets with Yunjin. Not only are you both '01 liners, but you're the only person in the group who speaks English proficiently. Along with that, you both share a common interest in songwriting.
Your closeness with Yunjin led her to finding out your special interest in your leader. She noticed how you stare at her, it's a different type of gaze than how you'd look at the others. How you're a lot more shy when around her. She can make a whole list to prove how whipped you are for Chaewon! In which you caved and admitted to. Oh how you wished you never confessed to the raven-haired girl. The constant teasing is making you go crazy, afraid your leader will discover your secret.
-----------
Today is August 1, 2023, the day you've been longing for to come. Unfortunately, Chaewon is unable to spend her birthday with her family due to a busy schedule. With the tour preparations and all. You knew she had meetings to attend and some personal shoots today. So, she'll be occupied for most of the day. You felt bad that Chaewon has to spend her birthday working.
So, with the help of the other members, you have it all planned out. In hope this would make your hardworking leader's day better. You, Sakura, and Yunjin were in charge of the food. While you gave the maknaes the task of decorating the dorm.
You mainly focus on making the cake. You trust Yunjin and Sakura enough cooking the food. "Wow! The cake looks good Y/N!" Sakura says. You give her a quick smile, then proceed to make sure the cake is perfect. Yunjin can't help but chuckle at your behavior. Yet finds it sweet how you're doing all this for Chaewon.
You finished the cake awhile ago and everyone was admiring your work. You had to keep an eye on Eunchae afraid she'll eat it before the birthday girl gets home. You all finish up everything up and lastly got into decent yet comfortable clothing. You're proud of the work the maknaes did, they did a great job decorating the place. "I just got a text! She'll be here in a bit!" Yunjin yells out.
You all get into positions. Anticipation building up in the room as all eyes were on the door. A few minutes passes by and finally you all see the door nob moving. "Surprise!" Everyone shouts and series of "Happy Birthday!" echoes in the room.
Chaewon stands there in shock yet a huge smile then forms on her face. "Thank you, thank you! Wow, all this for me?" She says with such joy as she looks around the room.
"Unnie, you're getting old!" Eunchae shouts as she rushes to her pulling her into a tight embrace. Everyone shakes their head yet laughs at their maknae as they too make their way hugging their leader. You however, made your way to the kitchen preparing the cake.
"I can't believe you guys did this for me," Chaewon says still in disbelief.
"All thanks to Y/N. It was their idea!" Yunjin voices out, refraining herself from smirking. Chaewon raises her eyebrows not expecting to hear that information.
"Where is-" Yet before Sakura can finish her sentence, you make your way out of the kitchen holding the cake as you start to sing happy birthday. The others following along as well. Chaewon looks at the cake in admiration, tears starting to form in her eyes.
Chaewon can't help but just stand there speechless. All she manages to get out is "I- It's beautiful."
"Y/N made the cake too!" Yunjin says putting her arm around your shoulder smilling at you "innocently". You shrug her arm off of you. Again, Chaewon can't help but be surprised yet confuse.
"Well... make a wish and blow out the candles!! I've been waiting all day to eat the cake!!!" Eunchae yells out making everyone chuckle at the impatient maknae.
The night went on well, you're proud of yourself and your members for pulling it off. From the looks of it, Chaewon seems to be really happy as well. You're glad, she deserves to enjoy her day. However, You can't help but notice how Chaewon glances at you once in awhile. Maybe that's just your mind playing games with you. The exhaustion is probably catching up on you.
As everyone is in there own conversation with each other, Chaewon whispers to Yunjin. Wanting to ask her a question that's been itching her mind for awhile now, "Y/N really planned all this for me?"
Yunjin really took all her will power to stop herself from rolling her eyes at her leader's obliviousness. "Yes, unnie."
"But... why?"
"Y'know it's really starting to annoy me how naïve you are sometimes." Chaewon is taken aback by her member's response. "Just ask Y/N herself. Y'know... finally have a full on conversation with her." With that, Yunjin leaves Chaewon deep in thought, and joins Sakura's and Kazuha's conversation.
-----------
As you were cleaning up, one by one, the members call it a night greeting and hugging their leader once again. You thought it was just you now, but that wasn't the case. You hear someone clear their throat making you turn around. Your eyes widen seeing Chaewon standing there looking at you. And it seems that she's... nervous?
"Hey... uhh need some help?" She says breaking the awkward silence.
In which you respond with, "It's alright." You look at the time seeing it's an hour before midnight. "It's still your birthday, not going to let the birthday girl clean up. You've had a long day, go rest unnie." You turn back around continuing to clean the dishes. Yet of course, knowing Chaewon, she's one stubborn lady. She starts to put away the left over food.
"Unnie..." you say disapprovingly. Yet before you can continue, Chaewon speaks out.
"Y'know... there is still one person who has yet to greet me today." As you carefully turn around after putting the last plate away, Chaewon is already facing you with a slightly teasing smile.
You look at her with a sheepish smile scratching the back of your neck, "Oh.. uhm.. sorry it's just everyone was trying to grab your attention. And I already know trying to compete for it would lead me nowhere. So I didn't get a chance to greet you." Chaewon can't help but frown. She never realized until now how ignorant she's been towards you. She moves slightly closer to you, making you nervous.
"Well, you've got my attention now." That sent chills down your spine, your only hope is that she didn't notice your reaction. But that small yet quick smirk she made before it disappeared says otherwise.
You clear your throat, "Happy Birthday, unnie." She smiles at you.
"Thank you," you nod. As you begin to turn around and walk away, Chaewon speaks again, "Thank you for doing all this. Thank you for making today memorable. But can I ask why?" Her last sentence makes you look at her with a confuse look. Though you see the genuine curiosity on her face. Wow, she's really in disbelief that all this was my plan? You thought to yourself.
You shrug, "Why not? I mean, I know we aren't close like you are with the others. So I get why you're surprised that all this was because of me. Nonetheless, I still consider you as my friend not just my leader or group member. Besides, I... love admire and respect you, you're one of the most hardworking people I know. You deserve to have some fun and relax on your special day. Especially since I know you probably wanted to spend it with your family but couldn't. I thought this could make up for it." You stand there feeling uneasy as you see the look on Chaewon's face. Her just standing there looking at you silently doesn't help either. Seeing how her eyes show the range of emotions she is currently experiencing. Did you say too much?
Chaewon snaps herself back into reality as she sees you slowly and awkwardly back away. Without thinking, her hand reaches for yours making you freeze. Now it's your turn to be in-shock. "Let's fix that then," Chaewon says softly. You look at her confuse wordlessly asking her to elaborate, "Let's get to know each other. I'd like to get to know you more." Chaewon clarifies, looking at you with a nervous smile yet her eyes hopeful.
It seems as if there is more meaning to her words than what she's implying. Fortunately, knowing Chaewon, you're aware it takes time for her to let people in. Baby steps and you're more than fine with it. You're willing to wait. You smile at the older woman, "I'd love that."

— AWARD SHOWS & DRINKS: KIM CHAEWON
warnings wow!kim chaewon x wow!yn i suggest you read my other wow fics before this one they’re in my masterlist <3
a smile of happiness and proudness grows on chaewon’s face as she hears IVE’s name for winning rookie of the year, she watches the seven girls walk up to the stage a certain one catching her gaze.
you look like you’re glowing as your dark gaze travels the crowd, the cameramen seen to love you because the billboard seems to always find your face as your members talk into the mic.
“wow” chaewon hears kazuha whisper to herself, she looks at her in confusion before turning back to the stage huh?
she puts her hand over her heart when she sees all of you guys crying, well not you, but your members cry.
chaewon knows her heart shouldn’t clench but it does when she sees you wrap an arm around yujin waist patting it comfortly and she knows she shouldn’t find it attractive when you pull the leader from the mic softly by her waist passing her to wonyoung to comfort, as you step up to the mic.
every idol in the crowd flinches at the screams, some more piecing than others when you step to mic, some even covering their ears is that even normal ?
chaewon is surprised that you didn’t even flinch, like you knew your fans were gonna act like this.
you open your mouth only an “I” comes out of your mouth before you get cut off my more screams, chaewon’s heart beat goes up when she hears your laugh she doesn’t think she’s ever heard you laugh, it’s so pretty.
she gets lost in your voice as you speak, she’s not even listening to what your saying, just so mesmerized by the sound of your voice and your beauty that’s korea’s sweetheart.
the camera on the billboard switches to a male idol, he looks up at you completely mesmerized like everyone else, he mouths so pretty to himself not even realizing that the camera is on him.
you stop in the middle of what your were saying responding with a “thank you.” before continuing.
everyone in the crowd screams and he covers his face with embarrassment, chaewon looks over in his direction cutting her eyes slightly.
you finish off your speech with an “I love you dives.” and you blow a kiss, making it the third time that people had to cover their ears because you of the screams chaewon now taking in that the screams sound mostly like women.
that’s a way to end a award show.
the shows over now and chaewon is now backstage, she flinched when she feels someone hug, but relaxes when she realizes that it’s wonyoung.
“unnie, your performance was so good.” she says to chaewon smiling.
“thank you.” chaewon smiles but it drops quickly wait if wonyoung is here that means-
“wonyoung we’re trying to figure out where we wanna eat when we leave.” you voice fills chaewon ears. “but the princess is being indecisive.” you say pointing to the girl beside you before walking towards wonyoung and kissing her cheek and that’s when chaewon notices yujin.
princess? I wanna be called princess.
wonyoung laughs before walking over to yujin.
chaewon gaze follows you as you sit in one of the backstage couches, you tilt your head back letting out a tired sigh.
chaewon tenses, when she sees yujin walk away from wonyoung and sits right in your lap, is that the privileges of being in a group with you ?
she watches as you wrap your arms around yujin pulling her closer, “why are you being so difficult?.” you ask but yujin ignores you, “chaewon unnie come sit.”
chaewon slowly walks over walks over and sits on the couch, “so where’s your members?” she asks
“they’re still changing.”
“do what are you guys gonna eat?” she asks awkwardly you idiot
“we’d know if our leader wasn’t being so difficult.”
yujin turns her head to look at you from behind her, “im not being difficult i just don’t know what to eat.” she yells pointing her finger in your face but squeals when you open your mouth and bite her finger.
chaewon shifts uncomfortably as she watches you and a yujin interact, “do you guys know where the vending machine is?”
“yn does.” wonyoung says pointing at you, “she can help.”
you let out a sigh before removing yujin from your lap and standing up, “come on.”
you didn’t have to tell her twice.
you guys walk towards the vending machine and you lean against the wall as chaewon puts her money in. “you have a lot of fangirls.” she says reaching down to get her drink. “they almost bursted my ear drums.”
you laugh at her comment, “yeah…” you turn to face her, “they’re always like that, you should see our music shows.”
“your performance was good.” you say, “you guys did good, especially that ballerina one.”
chaewon’s face heats up at the compliment. “oh, that’s kazuha.”
“pass on my compliment to her.” you say as you take her place in front of the machine getting your own drink.
“I will..” chaewon trailed off as her eyes catch your ringed fingers a new star one on one of them.
she clears her throat, “new star ring?”
“huh?” you ask before looking down at your hand “oh yeah, I had to get a new one since you stole mine.”
“you gave it to me.” she says defensively.
“I’m joking, don’t get your panties in a twist babe .” you say sarcastically.
blush rushes to chaewon’s face instantly you just love messing with her don’t you ?
she opens her mouth but is cut off by a voice.
“yn?” both you and chaewon turn your heads to see a girl with a black bob cut.
“minjeong…” you trail off. “hey…”
the girl walks closer to you a little to close for chaewon’s liking. “I’ve been wanting to talk to you actually.”
“I know we haven’t talked since… you know, but i wanted to see if you wanted to hang out.” the girl asks smiling at you, “tonight?”
chaewon’s mouth drops when who she knows as winter grabs your hand and what shocks her more is that you didn’t even flinch at the act.
“if I’m not busy maybe.” you respond. “I’m going out for dinner later with my members.”
“I also gotta walk this lady back.” you added nodding towards chaewon. “she gets lost easily.” you tease.
chaewon tenses when she feels the girls cold gaze on her, her eyes scanning the short haired girl then stopping at the star ring on chaewon’s finger before going back up to chaewon’s face and glaring at her.
her facial expressions changes quickly when she looks back at you giving you a soft smile. “text me.” she says before walking to the vending machine.
all you do is hum back as you walk away chaewon trailing behind you shortly, “is she your friend?”
“something like that.” is all you say.

you are in love | 44. making the bed (written)
note: is my olivia rodrigo obsession showing..
Tumblr media
timing was definitely on hanni’s side as the moment she stepped on minji’s porch, the taller walked out of her front door with a white jacket over her pajamas.
“are you kidding me minji…”
“what? completes the doc kim look i think.”
hanni shook her head laughing before taking a seat on the front steps of the house. minji shrugged and followed, leaving a small space in between the two.
“so what’s with the emergency meeting?”
hanni hummed, her gaze fixed on the empty road in front of them.
“how do you know you like someone?”
minji smirked hearing the line. whether she was proud hanni was getting somewhere, or was excited she’d get to talk about her ultimate rizzler skills, she liked where the conversation was going.
“ohhh~ we’re getting into this huh?”
“hey i’m asking a serious question here, didn’t you want to help?”
minji laughed at the shorter, shifting herself sideways to lean on the handrails of the steps and to face her friend.
“i don’t know.”
“…are you fucking serious?”
“hehe no i’m kidding! i figured out i was at least interested in wonyoung when we were partnered up for mrs. choi’s media literacy project. we had to spend a lot of time together and i don’t know… i got to know her better and i found myself wanting to spend more time with her.”
“is that it?”
“well… i knew it was something else when i started messing up my drills if she was watching…”
“WHAT?”
“HEAR ME OUT-“
“this is down-bad behavior, kim!”
“and you walking in the rain to cook breakfast isn’t?”
hanni’s smile slowly dropped into a more blank face, but her eyes were clear and full of thought. she stayed silent for a couple more seconds before minji started snapping her fingers in front of her face.
“bro. seriously.”
“sorry.”
“don’t worry. but anyways, yeah that’s how liking someone feels, other than the physical side effects like the butterflies and crap. i doubt you’ve never felt it before… you probably just didn’t identify it as such.”
hanni nodded slightly, still choosing to bask in the combination of the silence and the cool wind, a reminder of the christmas season that was beginning. the village, or well, the town in general was a sight during the holidays. lights and decor everywhere, snow sculptures on the frontyards, a couple of christmas themed food trucks at the park. during the season of late november to early january was always the happiest and prettiest the small city was.
“an idiot can figure it out faster than you, you know?”
the vietnamese-australian flinched at the sudden voice, having completely forgotten she was at her best friend’s house after sitting on the porch, completely lost in thought.
“what?”
minji let out a deep sigh (something she’s been doing ever since she decided to get herself invested in hanni and y/n’s business) and shook her head.
“the pieces are all laid out in front of you. what’s taking you so long to put them together?”
hanni looked down at her clasped hands, fiddling with her fingers and cracking every joint with deep inhales and exhales every time.
“i’m scared, okay?”
“i mean i got it the first time, you know. you weren’t very sure about everything. but like now you literally….“
hanni took another deep inhale and exhale before deciding to continue.
“y/n’s the closest friend i have. the person i value the most. one i hold at utmost respect and regard. i could probably even say i care more for her than my own damn family.”
“well okay. wasn’t expecting a speech! but if that’s the case then why aren’t you-“
“that means i have everything to lose if i mess things up.”
the shorter girl finally looked in minji's direction, her eyes, though not watery, were dark and heavy almost. her expression a mix: frustration, tiredness, disappointment.
“pham, this is y/n we’re talking about.”
“i’m very well aware.”
“so?”
“every direction i look… if i dug into this whole emotions thing deeper, every direction i look would end up with me losing her. if i figure out i don’t like her and tell her straight up, i lose her. if i figure out i do and i mess things up because i have no idea what the hell i’m doing, i lose her.”
minji chuckled, very softly so as to not anger her friend in front of her.
“those are all uncertain endings, pham. how are you so sure of it when you haven’t crossed the bridge yet?”
she gave no response.
“the one thing you think you’re avoiding is bound to happen for sure with the way you’re going about this.”
still silent.
“this isn’t just any friend, right? you said it yourself. this is lee y/n we’re talking about, right?”
hanni nodded, following along.
“is she not worth the risk? is your friendship with her not worth exploring feelings you’re so scared to look into?”
hanni stared silently at her hands in front of her, slow and heavy breathing the only sound that could be heard from her.
“you know the answer already pham. you know what to say. i think i do too. and if anything encourages you to actually say it, it’s that you’re starting to lose her already.”
hanni let the words sink in, closing her eyes and letting out another sigh. though her words were stern, minji’s tone never lost its light and comfort. as much as she wanted things to be better for y/n, she’s hanni’s best friend too.
the two exchanged a couple more words on the subject, hanni not forgetting to thank minji and whoever philosopher possessed her that night. things are a lot clearer now.
she made the bed, now she must lay in it.

I would - huh yunjin x fem!reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
sypnosy: "i’m sorry" why was that so hard to say back then? Now, no matter how much I yell, you can’t hear me.
TW: major character death, suicide, swearing
tags: angst, bandmates au, kinda inspired by the anime 'given'
Tumblr media
"jen im not so sure-"
"wait listen to me" you feel her grabbing your hand, yunjin knowing very well the act will grab your attention as she repeats her words again.
"it's not a big deal, you know two of the band members already. we are just needing a temporary singer, and you know you sing really well y/n. it'll be fun, i promise" her thumb was moving softly against your hand.
the premise was you being the singer for yunjin's band. you knew it wasn't something big she always said the band is a hobby, but growing up with yunjin you know how serious and passionate she is about music. how she dedicates her time writing songs and learning how to play new instruments, that side of hers always fascinated you.
as for you, you didn't had the talent like yunjin have with instruments but between karaoke dates you two had, your 'signing in the shower ability' managed to impress yunjin and since then she always compliment you for it.
even if yunjin says it isn't something big, you couldn't help it but to feel hesitant, what if you let her down? if you don't match the energy of the others what will happen?
"babe, hey look at me" your nervous habit of you chewing your lips didn't go unnoticed by yunjin, she gets closer, her warm hands touching your cheeks. "im not saying you have to, i-"
"i accept" you interrupt her "i.. i can be the singer. yeah, i will" your words make the expression of yunjin go to worry to excitement.
"really??" she hugs you tightly after you nod your head "oh my god, woah, im so glad, i swear I'm going to compensate you after" yunjin says and starts to shower your face with kisses "you're the best, thank you" the happiness of her actions makes you believe that you won't regret accepting that offer.
"remind me again why are we at the beach in this godly weather" you huff in frustration, hugging yunjin's warm jacket against your body more closely.
yunjin laughs at you and twirls around before answering "you said you never came here before!! it's pretty look at the scenery, like 'woah' right? and it isn't that cold too.." she continues, a shiver of cold running through her body soon after her words.
"jen summer is literally in two month, could've we waited?? you're a menace i swear" you complain again. of course the horizon was pretty, the ocean was calm and the day was near it ending, making the sky get a pretty orange color, but a cold breeze after another makes the beautiful moment ruined to you.
yunjin sudden sneeze makes you frown worried "yeah it is freezing, 'woah' my ass, can we go home now?" she grumbles, rubbing her arms to warm her own self. you roll your eyes at her antics and push her away lightly "dumbass, it was your idea"
"uh-huh, and i'm proud of it. now you won't forget i was the first one who brought you here, even if it was freezing cold." yunjin announces, pointing at herself proudly.
"uhm, i would remember it even better without this cold"
"yeah, you'll definitely forget this"
the first practice didn't go as bad as you imagined, the easy going vibe of the girls made you relaxed enough to sing confidently.
yunjin was waiting for your exit and talking to the girls of the band, getting to her side you intertwining your hands with yunjin, the taller girl smiles and press a sweet kiss on your forehead.
"hey we are going to hang out at chaewon house, do you want to go? we usually try to write lyrics but mainly is just because aunt kim cooks really well so we just eat good dinner for free" she explains happily and you see chaewon shaking her head at yunjin's words.
you stare a moment at yunjin who stares back at you confusedly. you take a few steps back pulling yunjing by the hand, just enough to make sure the others wouldn't listen
"yun..didn't we agree in making dinner together at my house today? you who suggested it, as a date"
"oh.." yunjin blinks, thrown off guard by not remembering that. "i mean, we can make it another day, no? like, we will eat for free. effortlessly. can't be better than that right?"
you stay quiet for a moment, a ache in your heart burning. what yunjin didn't knew was that you already had the dinner ready since the morning, excited to try the new recipe you made it ahead of time. but at that moment, you couldn't bring yourself to tell yunjin that.
her name being called by the bandmates pressured you to answer her question, her expectant gaze always making way to convince you of everything.
you sigh internally in defeat, putting a smile that didn't reach your eyes, you agree to yunjin. who didn't press any further and started to make her way towards chaewon's house with you.
as a kid yunjin was always full of energy, jumping and running around on the residential playground was her favorite thing to do. even if she was the only kid there, the neighborhood didn't had too many kids, and the ones it had yunjin didn't meet as much since her school had a different schedule.
so when she saw the little you, quietly sitting under a tree, she was surprised. and she was so happy when you agreed to be her friend, her 'pretty friend' she said to you. yunjin still thinks you agreed because of the candy she gave you that day.
growing up, yunjin liked even more to spend time with you. she was older by two years but yunjn admired how you didn't back down with her playful nature, there was a unspoken understanding between you two that by being in each other company was enough to have fun.
when yunjin realized she had fallen in love with you, wanting to be more then just friends. she surpressed it over months, afraid to take the risk and change the dynamic between you two.
when yunjin confessed, you never had seen her looking so different.
she was mixing her words and shifting her feet anxiously, waiting for your answer, she still looked hopeful as ever.
and even if you wanted to deny her and say you didn't felt the same, it was impossible, you didn't want to see her disappointed in you.
you didn't want to see yunjin looking at you the same way your mother looked when you denied something.
you didn't want the treatment you mother gave you that time when you refused something.
you learned from your mother to not deny the older ones, so you couldn't deny yunjin, right?
so as always, you accept yunjin words, and the pretty smile and warm hug yunjin gave you back told you you choose it right.
waiting for yunjin to pick you up after class was a common thing for you. it was the perfect time for you two to spend time together and talk about how was the day.
you were specially excited for today because yunjin said she was going to compensate for not being able to spend much time with you recently, you admired how she was focusing between her work and writing new songs to the band since you guys had a performance coming at the end of the month. you understood it all, but why she was so late?
thirty minutes had pass since you texted her to pick you up, two missed calls. when you called again at the third time, after ten seconds and at the last moment, yunjin picked up.
"jen -"
"y/nnie!! babe, heyy." a bunch of loud noises coming from the call made you wince and move the phone away from your ear, distincted loud music and muffled voices could be heard coming from the line.
"where are you yun?.. are you coming to pick me up" the noises coming from yunjin line told you the situation probably wasn't going to happen, but you asked anyway, already chewing on your lips nervously.
"what? i'm.." sudden words could be heard and the audio got muffled for a moment "babygirl hey, sorry for the noises. hm, I.. can we talk later? I'll pass by your apartment, how about that? I'm really sorry to not picking you up today, just called a cab to you by the way. but the boss invited everyone to drink and you know how it goes.. " despite the muffled noises in the background, yunjin sounded more clear this time, a tone in her voice you couldn't catch, but it was enough to reassure you. sighing in defeat you knew you didn't had too much choices, so you agreed in meeting her later.
but when you heard the soft knocks on your door few hours later, a discomfortable feeling took hold in you.
"you could've told me you weren't going to pick me up." you grumble after yunjin move back from the hug, which you barely returned.
"what?"
"you.. didn't answered me and I was there. waiting. for a second I thought something had happen but" you scoff in disbelief "when you picked up you sounded like having fun and.. i just.. can't believe it. was it hard to just text me back for a second?" you finish. sounding bitter and clearly upset, even if your intention wasn't blaming on yunjin, you couldn't help at the bite and accusation in your voice.
for a moment, the apartment became silent. yunjin stared back at you blankly. her expression shifted from confusion to anger as she processed your words.
"you know how I hate to wait for these things yunjin, we've barely seen each other this week. why didn't you just said n-"
"ooh ho, yeah, because just from one minute the princess can't wait, and wants everything by her rules." yunjin bites back, obviously annoyed.
"what?? my rules? i do everything you say yunjin, haven't you noticed? and when I ask for it you-"
"yeah yeah, if you knew how stressed i have been through the week. you have done nothing. if I say to you die for me you certainly wouldn't y/n." you scoff in amusent at yunjin's words, not believing what she just had said.
"go to your house yunjin. I don't want to fight over this" you tried your best to say it confidently but it came out so fragile that you hated yourself because of it. yunjin was about to speak again but instead let out an exasperated sigh and walks away, leaving your apartment. and leaving you with a deafening silence and a emptiness inside.
what yunjin didn't know, and unfortunately discovered later. is that you always did what she asked, whatever it was.
she spent the next day feeling incredibly guilty by her action and words, she took out her frustrations all on you and she wanted nothing more than to go back to you, apologize for what she did. trying to call you wasn't working, and the sinking feeling in yunjin's heart grew with each unanswered call.
deciding to take matters into her own hands, she drove to your house, with shaky hands, yunjin opened the front door and stepped into the strangely silent house.
she called out your name, her voice filled with a mixture of fear and hope. here was no response, just a haunting silence that surrounded her.
there didn't seem to have anything out of place, the shoes you always used when going out was untouched by the entrance. scanning around the living room yunjin found nothing but a pair of beer cans scattered around, that she found strange, you didn't usually drink.
as yunjin reached your bedroom door, a sense of dread washed over her. If only she had known that her impulsive behavior would lead to this, she would have chosen her words and actions more carefully.
her eyes scanned the room, seen even more empty alcoholic drinks on the ground, and then yunjin saw you.
hanging lifelessly from the ceiling, your body swaying slightly, as if caught in the final moments of a tragic dance.
the sight struck yunjin like a lightning bolt, freezing her in place. time seemed to stand still as she took in the devastating scene before her.
and yunjin swore, that if she could go back, just for a moment. she would give her all, just to have you again. for a moment, she would have given you everything.

smut, trigger warning for noncon/dubcon—Dubucon? I'll stop with the name puns when I stop writing Dahyun. Disciplinary Action Pt. 2 btw. 1200~ words A/N: Huge thank you to @capslocked for all the help editing; I'd lowkey call it a collab thanks to his input.
Tumblr media
The secluded door at the end of the hall is intimidating. Overseer Kim D. You take a breath before the two knocks.
“You may come in.”
It’s a sterile environment: every piece of furniture and storage is neatly placed within measured ranges, properly squaring off Kim Dahyun’s desk in center stage. Two chairs face the ensemble and the Overseer herself, who stands prim at your arrival.
“I was beginning to doubt your return. Was our first session not compelling enough to warrant another—in this case apparent—mishap?”
You stand behind both guest seats, matching Dahyun in posture. “My apologies, Overseer. I feared that making another mistake in such a short period of time might attract unnecessary attention. I’m not prone to slip-ups.”
“Something you should be proud of, yet here you are: willing to sacrifice that perfect student record for another meeting with yours truly. Sit.”
You obey.
“What will it be this time?” Excitement gets the better of you.
“Now now.” The Overseer steps around her desk, over to the front, where she leans back and sits herself on the edge. “No rushing.” She reaches behind her and slides a glass of water towards you. “Thirsty?”
The glass sits at the edge beside her, fingers trailing the rim as she awaits your response—you’ll have to reach out, not her. “I—yes. Thank you.” You lean in and extend your arm. Her hand never leaves the glass and your eyes stray to find her plump ass spilling onto the desk, at odds with the tight dress that wraps way too short around her pale thighs.
Another glass is revealed as you pick up yours and you both drink the room temperature water in unison.
“So, why come back?” Her voice blunt and direct.
“Um.” You ponder. It seems like an obvious answer: the basic pleasure of it all, how it has you crawling back. But Overseer Kim is not that simple. Regardless—”I wondered… about the methodology.” you give the answer a shot despite your unsure voice. “Why… uh… that, out of all things?”
“It’s simple, really.” A satisfactory smile surfaces. “This academy primarily focuses on science—as you know—and students are to learn through testing within realistic conditions.”
“Of course, our primary focus is to learn with real tools, chemicals, and subjects. We—” You trail off, unable to finish your sentence. A bout of confusion follows and you don’t understand how—
“Exactly.” Dahyun picks up your trail. She’s somehow behind her desk now—when did she—searching through one of the open drawers. “You’ll be surprised to know that, as faculty, we are encouraged to do the same.” Her last words feel a world away, and the final image before blackout is Dahyun, blurred, with an object you can’t make out in hand.
~~
You slowly come to. The bright light overhead burns into your eyes and there’s the realization that your neck cranes backwards. With slight pain you level out, sight still adjusting. There’s a sound, a wet sound, and you manage to feel the source before spotting it.
“What’s—ngh—going on?” You barely manage to speak.
“You’re being reprimanded, remember? Keep still.” The order is accompanied by fingernails that pierce into your thigh and prevent you from shuffling about your seat.
When the sight is finally made clear, you notice the Overseer; she holds a device of rubber, plastic—both? It grips your erect cock with gratifying pressure, sliding up and down with the consistent rhythm of Dahyun’s hand. “You—” the glass of water you once held is fixed on the desk behind the Overseer. “What did you put in that?!” You would stop her stroking, but your hands and feet are bound, constrained, fucked.
Her grip on your thigh tightens. “I said still.” The rhythm slows to a crawl and Dahyun looks up from her kneeling position at your still-dazed face. She observes your lubricated length, the veins that shape it firm, and how it throbs with each miniscule motion. “It’s an aphrodisiac, to answer your question, with a very convenient side-effect.”
“Fuck. I would’ve—hng—I would’ve undressed anyway. That’s why I’m here—” She picks up the pace and you’re tense all around. You never thought being tied up would be this enticing.
“To answer your other question.” Dahyun begins to twist the device on every upstroke, sending waves through your restrained body. “The one about methodology.” She pauses her train of thought to feel your cock ache, watching each pulse make the device move and shift. “It’s about control.” And with the words, she bottoms out on your length, having it completely covered by the rubber interior. “You’re mine, and you’ll do as I say.”
“Mmm—fffuck.”
Dahyun begins to stroke once more. “Do you understand?”
“Y-yes.” The aphrodisiac is surely having its effect—you’ve barely woken up and you’re as sensitive as one can get. You feel how your cock pulsates, nearing its threshold.
“How close?” She asks plainly.
“So fucking close.”
The grip she had on your leg turns gentle; it caresses your inner thigh, stimulating the area around your extremely sensitive length. Dahyun is examining you, appreciating you: her live subject to do as she pleases. In the passing minutes, her eyes liven up as your chest quickens its breaths; she finds amusement in the way sweat builds up on your forehead and brows; and how your wrists fight against the tight grip of their restriction?  She revels in it.
The buildup feels like an eternity—you don’t want it to end—but Dahyun’s pace hastens as she notices your tells. Your hips jolt up and you hiss: “I’m going to cum.”
As your breaths become moans, Dahyun releases you and chucks the device to the floor. “Don’t think we’re done yet.” She lets you pump your seed for about three throbs before grabbing your cock with her own hand, lubricating it with both oil and cum.
Your moans become grunts; pain—more so pleasure—enraptures your now burning cockhead as Dahyun continues to stroke through the dying grasps of your orgasm. “Cum for me. Again.”
“Fuck Dahyun, it’s so—fffuck—it’s so sensitive.” She doesn’t care. Her hand is a completely different sensation: it’s soft, silky, and in contrast to what she used on you before, you can feel each finger press down on your length as opposed to the encompassing yet inanimate pressure of the rubber.
It’s a struggle—on one hand, your cock begs for her to stop, each nerve crying out on how it reached its utter limit, yet on the other, her hand strokes your length with such delicacy; it’s downright skillful.
You decide to succumb to the ravishing sensations—perhaps whatever she gave you is also working its magic—and your cock reaches climax within the minute. It’s a staggering volume of pleasure, all at once, out of nowhere. This time, Dahyun decides to drain you herself, not letting a single throb go to waste, and strokes each and every drop into the air, onto her hands, as the trails of oil mixed with white cover her hand entirely.
You sit there, tied, spent, as Dahyun cleans herself and the device; it's not until after she's done that she even thinks to release you. Your wrists and ankles are marked and chafed, but the most worn-out feeling stems from your cock.
“Control?” You ask and break the silence.
She stores the device back in its drawer. “Yes, control.”
“You tied me up.” You accuse.
“As if you didn’t like it.” She deflects. “You would’ve tied yourself up if I ordered, but you’re more agreeable this way. Simpler”
Something stirs in you. You don’t disagree; her assured gaze knows this.
“You’ll be back before long,” Dahyun speaks before you manage to retort. “Off you go.”

Y/n smiled to herself as she got the very much needed text. After waiting a whole day, it was a sight to see.
Sunwoo💕: finishing up practice. home soon baby girl
Y/n: yay, see ya soon
She squealed before tossing her phone onto the couch. In any normal relationship, nobody would be that excited when their lover returned home from a normal day at work. And in Sunwoo’s case, he was an idol, staying a bit later for extra practice for an upcoming comeback. But Y/n and Sunwoo were only three weeks into living together. Who could blame her?
On an impulse of energy, she began cleaning the apartment, every nook and cranny. Coats on the coat rack, dishes in the dishwasher, books in the bookshelf, everything in its place. She didn't even realize how fast she was doing it until she felt sweat, sticky on her forehead. She sighed before collapsing onto the sofa, wanting nothing more than Sunwoo cuddles, and maybe something a bit more. She couldn't help but imagine all the filthy scenarios in her head.
The sound of keys jangling as the front door was unlocked and opened, made her jolt upwards, off of the sofa. She ran over to her boyfriend and jumped, arms and legs around his neck and waist.
"Whoah, miss me that much baby girl?" Sunwoo smirked, holding her body close to his as he kissed her cheek.
"I was alone all day," she pouted with her bottom lip stuck out, raising her head up from his shoulder to look up at him.
He chuckled before kissing her pouty lips. "Sorry. I'll have to make a daily reminder: don't be late or girlfriend gets moody," he teased.
"How dare you," she playfully smacked his chest before untangling herself from his grip. "You should wash up, dinner is almost ready."
"What? You cooked?" Sunwoo's jaw dropped.
"No stupid, the Uber Eats driver is ten minutes away. Now go," she laughed, shoving him towards the stairs.
He eventually went up to take a shower and change his clothes. When he came back down, Y/n was already enjoying her ramen without him. "Hey, you should've waited for me!" He exclaimed, running to the kitchen island, digging through the brown paper bag, sighing in relief seeing how Y/n left him a bowl. She had actually eaten his food once after the two had gotten into a silly arguement. "Thanks for not eating my food."
 "You're welcome."
Sunwoo chuckled with a shake of his head as he took a seat besides her at the kitchen island. He licked his lips as he took the lid off of his food, twirling his plastic fork in hand. He took a bite and sighed in satisfaction before turning to his girlfriend. "So, what did you do while I was gone?"
"I cleaned, aren't you proud of me?" She replied, also taking a bite of her food.
"I did notice the apartment was cleaner when I got back. I'm surprised you did it voluntarily," he explained, earning an elbow to the stomach from her.
"Well, at least I was productive. I even took a walk and did our laundry," she added.
"Look at you," he laughed, swallowing his food so he wouldn't choke. He was about to say something when his phone buzzed.
 "Who's that?" Y/n wondered.
"Chanhee and Changmin. They want to play some Halo in fifteen," he answered.
"Can I see?" Y/n tilted her head.
Y/n and Sunwoo were currently building trust in their relationship, so looking at each other's text messages was something they always did.
Sunwoo nodded and handed his phone over to Y/n.
(On Sunwoo's phone)
Chanheee: halo in 15?
Q: ya, gotta finish this birthday card for jaehyun. count me in. hbu sunwoo?
Y/n smirked to herself, and Sunwoo understood her plan.
"No, babe, please let me reply," Sunwoo reached out for his phone, but she leaned over, out of his reach.
"I promised I'd play with them earlier!" The boy protested.
"Whatever," she handed the phone back to its rightful owner, hesitantly.
Sunwoo(actually Sunwoo): JK y'all, I'll be on in less than fifteen ;)
Y/n pouted. "You don't want to watch a movie or something?"
"Maybe later babe, I made a promise," he smiled, holding the back of her neck to pull her in for another kiss, a lasting one this time. He pulled away after awhile. "I love you."
"I love you too," she sighed. "But I want cuddles."
"You're literally a human koala. You can live without me for two hours. Entertain yourself," he playfully rolled his eyes before ascending the stairs.
She huffed and looked around. "But there's nothing to do," she thought aloud.
~~~~~
Y/n quietly entered the bedroom as Sunwoo was immersed in his games. She decided to scroll aimlessly through TikTok as she lay on their shared bed, attempting to cure her boredom.
 "No no! He's by our base!" Sunwoo shouted, following a loud mashing on the keyboard and loud clicks on the mouse. "I swear I'll kill you if you suicide one more time Chanhee hyung."
Y/n looked up and almost laughed at how Sunwoo was a whole new person in the world of video games.
 "I'm going to kill you!" Sunwoo raged. Y/n guessed Chanhee committed suicide again, I'm game of course.
Y/n was deprived of her boyfriend. Even though he promised it'd be two hours, it was coming up on four. "Baby..." she whined, but Sunwoo couldn't hear through his headphones. She walked over and wrapped her arms around his neck from behind, not earning any response other than a shake of shoulders. Unsatisfied, she moved in front of him and put her legs on either side of him, sitting on his lap and leaning her head into his chest.
 "Hold up," Sunwoo moved the headphone mic away from his face. "Baby what are you doing?"
 "Cuddling with you, I'm bored," she answered truthfully.
 "But-" he paused, seeing how the next game had already started. "Fine, just no distractions, okay?"
She nodded. But it didn't mean she wasn't going to distract anyways.
He moved the mic back to his mouth. "Aight, let's go."
Y/n clutched his warm sweatshirt and breathed in his scent, finding it very calming. It smelt like ocean water and new books, two of her favorite smells. And while she was comfortable in her position she was still bored. And not to mention, getting horny from sitting on his lap for some time.
Deciding on causing mischief and a distraction, she began to move, rubbing her clothed heat against his sweatpants. It was painfully slow, but also pleasuring. Sunwoo seemed unfazed by her actions, still shouting at his friends as they played an intense match. But when she began to move faster, causing the friction she wanted, he began to fidget as he played, even stumbling over his words. "Y-yeah it's..." he took a deep breath. "B-by that fountain by the fountain, I-I mean mountain." Y/n smiled. Her plan seemed to be working. Taking it a step further, she leaned over his shoulder and quietly moaned into his ear, silently turning him on.
 "What was that?" Asked Chanhee through the game.
 "Nothing, it's nothing," Sunwoo brushed him off. But oh, it was definitely something.
Y/n smirked to herself. Everything was going according to plan. She grasped Sunwoo's shoulders as she allowed herself more room to move. Back and forth, back and forth, at the perfect pace. And she didn't contain her dirty little noises.
 "Okay Sunwoo, something is making noise on your end," Changmin concluded.
 "It was the wind," Sunwoo chuckled nervously as he bit back a moan of his own.
"The wind?" Y/n thought to herself. Nonetheless, she played her final card. Moving away from Sunwoo's chest, she reached down to feel him through his sweatpants. She was pleasantly surprised to find him already so hard for her. It turned her on even more. She began stroking his length, causing him to shut his eyes tightly and bite his lips to the point of them bleeding.
 "Guys, Imma head to bed, I'm," he took a deep breath, trying not to moan. "Just tired after today."
 "That's fine. See y'all tomorrow," said Chanhee.
 "See ya," Changmin said before going offline.
Sunwoo ripped his headphones off and threw them onto the ground beside him before tightly grasping her wrists. "What do you think you're doing, baby girl?"
 "Pleasuring daddy, because I know he wants me to," she said, acting all innocent as her eyes sparkled.
He quickly stood up before sweeping her off of her feet, carrying her to the bed before throwing her onto it. She loved it when he was rough. He climbed on after her and pinned her hands above her head before kissing her roughly. She tugged at his blonde tresses as he held her jaw tightly. He pulled away just enough to look into her eyes. "Such an attention whore, aren't you? Couldn't wait another thirty minutes to have my cock inside you, hmm?"
 "No, I missed you daddy," she whined, feeling herself getting wetter, to the point of it being hot and uncomfortable.
 "Tell me what you need, baby girl," he continued to kiss her, tasting her as he slipped his tongue into her mouth. "Tell me what my pretty little whore needs so bad."
 "I need you... to fuck me," she breathed out, biting his bottom lip.
 "Like always... you fucking whore," he smirked. He began kissing his way down her neck feverishly, as Y/n held his shoulders tightly. He then began to pull his own shirt over his head, revealing his well toned body that never ceased to amaze Y/n. His attention was then on her clothes. "We don't need this, do we?" He hummed, lifting her shirt over her head. "What about this? No, don't need this either," he smirked, tugging down her silk shorts, revealing her completely soaked panties. It was even dripping with her arousal. "Oh baby girl, you're soaked," he pouted as he touched her through the thin fabric, eliciting a loud moan from her. "Do you need my help?"
 "Yes daddy please, I need you," she whined aloud, moving her hands to his abs.
 He tugged down his sweatpants and underwear in one swift move before turning around to pump himself before turning back to her. He licked his lips before slipping down her panties. "Take it like a good girl, my little slut. You asked for it."
 There was no time for her to verbally respond before the head of Sunwoo's cock invaded her entrance. She gasped, holding onto Sunwoo's shoulders as the pleasure overwhelmed her senses. "Feel good baby girl?"
 "Yes Sunwoo... oh fuck," she whimpered, arching her back as her head fell backwards.
 "Keep moaning my name, lovely," he ordered, beginning to thrust deeper into her, if it was even possible.
 "Sunwoo!" she screamed, feeling him hit her g-spot repetitively. She then pulled him down to kiss his lips again, savoring his taste. He responded and with one hand, he held the side of her face. The other was keeping her hips in place as he thrusted a bit harshly now.
 "Sunwoo, I'm going to... ahh," she cried.
 "Not yet baby girl, wait for me," he ordered, afterwards letting out a bit of a high pitched moan. And Y/n couldn't explain it, but she loved the sound of it. The way his hair fell messy upon his forehead as his thrusts got sloppy and he became a moaning mess, despite being the dominant one... she just loved it all. She loved knowing she pleasured him as much as he did her.
 "Sunwoo, I can't," she begged, her pussy already becoming sore as he hit her spot.
 "Alright, come with me," he said, moaning once more as he pulled out, his white hot liquid dripping onto her stomach. She moaned as well, her liquids pouring out onto the sheets. Sunwoo sighed before collapsing beside her, wrapping his arms around her waist. "Great job baby girl," he smiled, kissing all over her face. He then sat up. "Let's get you cleaned up." He left for the bathroom and speedily returned with a rag wet with warm water. Carefully, he wiped his cum from her stomach and tried to wipe some of hers from the sheets as well. He tossed the rag in the dirty laundry basket before slipping on his underwear and sweatpants again, Y/n also putting her clothes back on. He and Y/n moved into their spots in bed and looked at each other. "I love you," he breathed out, moving hair from her face.
 "I love you more," she smiled, snuggling into his chest.
 At the end of the day, she got what she wanted. Sunwoo cuddles.
