IT’S BEEN A REMARK THAT HER MIND IS LIKE SMOLDERING LAVA -- just as molten and twice as vicious . it’s how eleven supposes it’s always been . she doesn’t consider it needs changing until a confusing swarm of events land her on coruscant . it’s here that everything that’s been ground into her bones is TURNED ON ITS HEAD .

it’s frustrating , the irritation by far beating down the fear of not doing things right . SHE TRIES . by the stars , does eleven try . she doesn’t want to hurt her peers by not knowing when enough was enough . so instead now , run away from a training session gone awry , she huddles in the deep corners of the library behind a sofa . here it’s quiet ; here no one would bother her and she could regain some sort of control . it stays this way for some time , her brown eyes burning holes into the wall .

Yet another year has come and gone. As per this lovely trend on the dash, I’d like to take a moment to appreciate all of my mutuals — both longtime and new. Thank you. Thank you so very much for putting up with me and staying involved with my blogs, in spite of my flaws. Over the course of this year, I’ve experienced incredible growth as a writer, and it couldn’t have happened without all of you amazing, talented and lovely folks here in the Roleplay community.

When I first decided to participate in the SWRPC via a multimuse blog that later became separate single muse blogs, I was admittedly nervous. The talent here is off the charts, and I kept wondering if I would be able to meet this community’s standards. Oftentimes, it is difficult to thrive in any roleplay community as an original female character — let alone one with strong ties to canonical content — due to the rampant stereotyping of these muses, but you all took a chance on me, and for that, I will always be grateful. Both Shi’al and I myself have grown as human beings this year in ways that would not otherwise be possible without our interactions with each and every one of you. Even if your username is not on this list (unfortunately, Tumblr only let me tag a certain number of individuals), just know that you are valued and that I adore you. Despite anticipating that the ship would be cold (they always were- or, rather, she always was), Larken still found herself pulling her blue robes a little tighter around her lithe frame. Her eyes swept their surroundings; clones of the 212th battalion were scattered around, some looking busier than others. 

“Find Kenobi.” Mace had told her

“Who’s Kenobi?” she’d asked, and was immediately met with, “He’ll be with Skywalker.”

Her face must have given away her next question, because “You’ll know them when you see them. Now, go and board your transport.” was quickly tacked on. He left without another word. She watched him walk away for a moment, unamused. 

She had known that this meetup was happening for a week now- his name was Obi-Wan Kenobi, and he was supposed to be her new Master, her his Padawan. But that was all; no one had bothered telling her anything else. 

Not that she had made any effort to get more information, to be fair. She had spent most of the week enjoying her last shreds of time off before her newfound tutelage was supposed to begin. Which included skipping class, which she knew was going to come back to bite her at some point-

“Can I help you, ma’am?” a clone had approached her; he was tall- well, they were all tall. Six foot at least. Same faces; all with differentiating tattoos and armor markings. She’d never actually spoken with one.

“I’m supposed to find Obi-Wan.” she answered, tone neutral.

“Can I ask what the nature of your visit is, ma’am?” 

She hadn’t said it outloud yet. She really didn’t want to. “Oh. I’m supposed to be his new…Padawan Learner…or something.” 

“That’s today?” the clone asked; she shrugged, and he continued, seeming to relax a bit as he realized he was just as unprepared as her. “Well, then, allow me to introduce myself: designation’s CT-6082, name’s Longshot.” 

“Nice. I’m Larken.” 

“Oh, yes, ma’am, we’re all aware of who you are. Or, well, your name, at least- we’re all looking forward to your leadership,”

Her what now?

“Follow me. I’ll get you settled at the main Holo map with Captain Cody. General Kenobi will meet you there.” 

General Kenobi? She decided not to comment, silently following Longshot throughout the hustle and bustle as he made a call on his Comm. “Yes’sir, we have a Padawan on board. She’ll be at the main map.”

What had she gotten into?

ONE WOULD THINK JEDI YOUNGLINGS WERE MORE WELL BEHAVED THEN OTHER CHILDREN ... and that person would be wrong .  before her assignment , omega had been one of those who made the wrongful assumption . chasing after a youngling down the halls now , another much smaller held in her arms , she’s a bit exasperated by the revelation . ❛ -- kinani  , come on !  ❜ the girl calls out with as much subtlety as possible , ❛ you need to NAP !  pantorans your age need at least -- ❜

the aforementioned culprit seems to stop in their tracks when rounding the corner , though with the extra weight in her arms , omega isn’t able to do the same adeptly . a much larger figure in sight blocks her path and she lets out a yelp when the eventual collision happens . LUCKILY the impact isn’t so devastating ; of course she makes sure to land upright with careful arms wrapped around the infant in her arms ( who squirms unhappily ) .

EYES LOOK UP WIDE ( the other youngling looking much more amused by the situation ) to the jedi elder she’s run into . she scrambles to her feet and snatches the hand of kinani .  ❛ oh , maker !  i am so sorry , i should have watched where i was going !  we were just ... uh , playing a game . ❜

AVOIDING CHRISTMAS ALTOGETHER: hasn’t been seen in 20 years  | attends a few parties here and there  |  only seen when necessary  |  was found every time Ziv was raised in a religious Order and respects the traditions and religions of other cultures deeply, so when she is invited to celebrate she will join. Also as a midwife she had to read on different cultural practices to walk her patients to the proper rites so they feel welcomned and secure while beeing in her care(Althogh most of those rites are around pregnancy, childbirth and early childhood). However in the same manner the Tynnnan is a refugee in the empire, so she usually tries to avoid big celebrations in whcih she can be seen.

KNOWING CHRISTMAS SONGS: choose from track 1 to 500!  | the usual ones  |  a few  |  Christ-what? Ziv had been listening to the same twenty songs since shehad been eleven years old and will not change those songs that had carried her through Lightsaber Training, the Clone Wars and the reign of the empire. By now she can not even stand the songs anymore, but she keeps listening to them on full volume to annoy the people around her.

PICKING A CHRISTMAS JUMPER: look it even lights up!  |  it’s ugly let’s take it  |  decent  |  the red one has to do The Tynnan has the habit of anno every persona round her to figure out if the person could stand her at her worst, they could also stand her on normal days and those are people whom she could trust to be around and even be friends with. Accordingly if she has the chance to go for the ugliest sweater possible she will do so and have a triumphant  smile on her muzzle that looks like a baring of teeth.

SENDING CHRISTMAS CARDS: it’s huge and shiny and Rudolph’s nose lights up  |  simple and traditional  |  it says Christmas that’s all that matters  |  no cards Ziv respects other peoples religion enough to write them a card if it is important to them, but she will not bother if they are not interested in that part of religion.

DECORATING: IT SHINES SO BRIGHT, AND LOOK WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I PRESS THIS BUTTON  |  one time a plane confused us with a runway  |  just the tree and a few lights  |  tree | something, anything, taped to the front door As Ziv usually only stays in one place for at best two months, she does not bother to decorate the palce she is staying at. Especially since her religion does not line up to anyone elses in the time of the empire. However, she will put on a few dried flowers on her windows and doors if that is what make her patients visiting her for treatment easier and makes them feel welcome.

SURVIVING CHRISTMAS DINNER WITH THE FAMILY: centre of the dinner and enjoying it  | just smile and wave  |  barely hanging on  |  one more word and I’ll stab myself with this spoon Ziv had always felt left alone and pushed out by her peers back in the temple, whcih was a feeling becoming even stronger after she had been send to the AgriCorps. She loves her Clan-siblings, but she will stab herself with a spoon if she could escape the awkwardness of meeting estranged family. After all, Ziv cannot handle awkwardess well to begin with, she needs to know what is going on in others and her own head thats why she loves to provoke the people around her so much because she can expect thatreaction easily. But when the meeting is awkward, Ziv very easily will get insecure because she does not know what is going on in the other peoples heads.
