SUNNY

sunny grew up in an asian household, and not to mention his parents favorited his sister. so he's faced his fair share of hurtful comments or impossible standards

although, he hasn't really gotten it to the extent you have, and he's a little. concerned.

like when he first hung out at your place and he heard your mother call you names and berate you,, he got really nervous and awkward

he really doesn't like arguing, and for many other reasons you two sort of decided it would be best to not chill at your place

but it doesn't mean he ignores it!!! he thinks about your parents all the time, and is kind of scared to pry but he asks about it for your safety

you two spend a lot of time at his house!!!! he prefers to not go outside and seeing as your parents erm. aren't the greatest, his house is usually empty and so it's perfect for hanging out!!!!

he never pries to the point of making you uncomfortable, but he is very worried. he'll constantly try to be there for you and lend an ear, as he knows your parents aren't the best listeners.

if you text him that your parents are being loud or yelling at you, he'll send you songs he likes for you to listen to to distract you and texts u constantly to keep you company

AUBREY

it. really pisses her off.

she had incredibly neglectful parents, and her mother would even get physical when drunk

so she knows what abuse is like. that's why although it angers her whenever she hears your parents degrade you, she never talks back to them or anything. she knows that would only end up worse for the both of you

although, she does express it a lot when you two are alone.

"dude, your parents are dicks, Y/N."

she's fully aware you're only playing it off for everyone's sake, but she never really talks about it. she knows how much it sucks for someone to call out a facade cough cough

she'll get you little trinkets or send you images of things that you like or that remind her of you throughout the day to hopefully cheer you up

her house isn't really available for hanging out either, so you guys often go to the lake or get pizza at GINO's, or just chill with the hooligans at the park

she never judges you for it, and tries to subtly let u know that she's there to listen whenever you need it. she wants to offer support that you otherwise don't really have

KEL

when your parents start saying shit at dinner, he looks kinda awkward and tries to change the subject. like if they started comparing you to him he'd be like "oh, haha i actually look up to Y/N! you raised an amazing kid :)"

he might dislike your parents, but he's always respectful of parents in general. he was always taught to respect his elders!!!

and then when you two leave the house he looks at you like a dejected kicked puppy

"man.. your parents are really something, huh?"

kel had only really been insulted by his parents during arguments or whenever he did something wrong, whereas he'd get spanked with a shoe and berated. they didn't verbally degrade him often, but they emotionally neglected him a lot.

he feels real bad for you, but he tries not to bring it up often. he knows it's a sensitive subject, he can tell by how you constantly say it's normal and it's just how they are

kel wants to wait until you're ready to talk about it. he doesn't push it, he wants you to come to him whenever you're comfortable!!

lots of walks and playing sports to get out of the house. he is constantly treating you to pizza at GINO's, and his family loves you to death!!!!! hero sees you as a little sibling and is always teasing kel about you

HERO

he tries his best to be respectful around your parents. he honestly wants to punch their faces in but he will not admit that

it concerns him when you lie and say it's nothing, but he doesn't push it often. sometimes he'll let you know you can be honest with him and that he's there to listen

with most parents, hero automatically wins them over and always tries to be polite and kind. but he doesn't really bother to get your mother roses or strike up conversation with your dad. he just can't really be comfortable around them

hero's family is very welcoming, so he'll always invite you over for dinner and his mother is asking constant questions!!! kel bugs you and jokingly asks why on earth you'd date someone like hero

(this earned him a smack on the head from both his mother and hero)

gets you gifts and flowers often, and leaves encouraging notes and compliments. he really doesn't want you to feel bad about yourself,, he knows it must be hard having parents like that

has a bit of a hard time finding words if you break down or cry, so he holds you in his arms and rubs your back.

"hey, hey, sshh.. i know... it's alright.."

MARI

similar to hero, your parents make it hard for her to control her anger. they're just so!!!!!&!!$&$ she has a general level of respect and awareness though, so she never really says anything

if she's at your place, she tries to be quiet but eventually can't take it and stands up for you.

"you should be a little easier on them. they've been doing quite well in school lately." she says, crossing her arms.

unfortunately this led to her getting kicked out, but she didn't really regret it

if you're ever feeling down about your grades or yourself in general, she's immediately showering you with compliments and encouragement. mari can't stand seeing you doubt how much you mean to her

i think mari has had a complicated relationship with her father, so she isn't a stranger to arguments and general mean comments and berating. part of why she's such a perfectionist is because her father pushed her,, so she's a bit of a hypocrite when saying you shouldn't let your parents dictate what you do

she's very supportive of wherever you want to go in life, always helping you practice and follow your dreams no matter what!!

always taking you out for picnics and dates!!! you spend a lot of time with the group to get away from things for awhile

she plays the piano for you to help you relax, and sometimes you fall asleep on her shoulder as she plays a calming song. she cherishes those moments the most.

BASIL

he hates it, especially when your parents come into the room and start yelling at you. he can't stand it at all

it makes him angry, but he's far too scared and shy to say anything, so he opts for excusing the two of you and taking you outside to check up on you

he can only imagine how hard it is for you to deal with that, so he's always checking on you to see how you're holding up mentally

he isn't great with words, so you two often spend lots of time together!!! at the park, at his house, at the beach, anywhere is fine with him as long as it's with you

polly loves you dearly!!! she's always embarrassing basil in front of you

he's scared that you're insecure about yourself due to your parents' words, so he leaves little sticky notes and drawings around to encourage you in everything you do

"hi Y/N! i hope you have a great day!!!!! here's a sunset picture, it reminded me of you :) -basil" and there's a photo attached of a pretty sunset

you cook the simplest meal?? he's praising it like it's gourmet

he gets you into gardening and photography, always sending you pictures that remind him of you!!!! they're good coping mechanisms for him and make him happy, so he wants to share that happiness with you

★ 📝 — notes: first writing for flufftober, first Omori writing. don't think I'll do this specific top with hsr or genshin impact but if people rlly want me too than I will.

this is strictly platonic btw and reader (you) just come over to their house, you're not siblings with anyone and is hinted to being on the younger side.

— word count: 857 , fandom: omori , cw: omori spoilers, sorry, it's like a bittersweet moment for this.. but it's still fluff and ig with the smallest hint of angst, idek if it's that, more so hurt/comfort ig — ✦

" Cooking Halloween Cookies with Them "

★ — Sunny & Mari

Mari does most of the work like the cooking of the cookies, but you and Sunny do the icing together and help mix the cookie batter (you two sneak a bite of the raw cookie dough, but Mari notices it and just lets it slide with a stifled giggle). Sunny's cookies probably turn out better than yours if you're not experienced with this stuff, the icing being relatively straight, maybe uneven. You and Sunny decided that you would do ghosts and he would do pumpkins, Mari doing other things like witch hats, candles, black cats, the usual, but she doesn't mind. You guys normally make a minimum of 30 cookies so you can share with the others every year since Mari was 9.

When Halloween day comes around, you bring the cookies over to wherever a Halloween party is being held between the friend group and the cookies are always the best. Whenever it's your guy's turn to make the cookies for this year, it's always good.

Even after the death of Mari and since Sunny shut himself away, you brought cookies to his door every Halloween with Kel to remind him that you're there for him and to remind him of the good times. ☆

✦ — Hero & Kel

Again, Hero does most if not all the work while you and Kell goof off. Hero's not mad at all, quite the opposite, and you two normally get only about 3 cookies decorated, which were a couple ghosts and a black cat and a pumpkin. You two eat a lot of the raw cookie dough and he has to scold you guys after your third bite.

"Kel, [name], you've eaten six total raw cookies, you're lucky I made more batter than needed."

"Sorry Hero.." You and Kel say in unison, looking away from Hero and each other while you fidgeted with your fingers with your heads down. Hero just sighed and let out a breath of laughter, patting both of your guy's heads while Hero and Kels mom watched on in the back with a smile.

The friend group loves Hero's cookies. They're always just right and look very nice and people can always tell who decorated what cookie since your guy's is a little messy (especially Kels). You and Kels cookies taste the same though, and Aubery teases you two about your messy decorating job and it turns into a mini playful fight — like always, the others just laugh to themselves.. other than Sunny of course, who just watches on from his sisters side.

After Maris death, you two made it your mission to get good at making cookies and with the help of Kel and Hero's mom, you succeed, and try to get Hero to have some when Halloween comes around. You two always notice how the couple of cookies you gave him are gone the next day. ✧

★ — Aubrey

She's actually a pretty good cook. Aubrey always comes over to your house to make them though and if you also don't have the best home life, you go to Mari and Sunny's house to make them. The group likes her cookies and she adds her own little flare to the cats, hats, ghosts and whatever else she decides to make by adding something pink to them. She really does love to cook with you and it always reminds her that her friends and you are there for her.

She likes to have quality time with her friends and teases Kel for not being able to cook cookies or decorate them properly, which is just playful banter the two have and they still are good friends. Whenever Hero or Mari compliments her cooking, she always beams at the praise and hugs them, to which they reciprocate with gentle laughter.

Even after Maris death and everyone kinda ditched her, you made sure to stick by her side throughout all her changes and even though her group tells her to ditch you, she can't get rid of her cookie cooking buddy, and still has the little flare to her cookies when it's Halloween. ✧

★ — Basil

Doesn't actually know how to cook very well. He focuses more on gardening and taking pictures so he doesn't really find much need to cook complex things like cookies. If you're good at cooking, you show him how to make it and if not, Polly helps you two. Basil's very good at decorating though, and he loves to decorate the cookies with you. He decided to make Halloween colored flowers while you made the typical Halloween stuff.

The group likes how Basil does his cookies even if he didn't exactly cook them himself. When the group and you are just hanging out, like always, he takes pictures of you all and makes sure he gets the cookies in there as well.

After Maris death, you notice he becomes more jumpy and skittish, but either way, he still makes the cookies with you every Halloween and thoroughly enjoys doing it. It's one of the things that kept him grounded when Mari died and helped him temporarily forget his involvement in the incident. ☆

Sunny

“Fuck… oh my god, fuck..!”

You held your head in your hands, tears cascading down your cheeks as you tried to take deep breaths, but to no avail.

“I can’t do this… not here… not now”

You were staying over at Sunny’s house; everything was fine before you saw the grand piano in the music room, untouched… collecting dust. It just reminded you of her all over again. After you’d tried so hard to forget.

You stumbled into his bathroom, unsure of whether you had locked the door or not… your mind was too hazy to tell. Your shaking hands reached for his cupboard, knocking various items over as you frantically searched for something- anything that you could use to hurt yourself right now.

Your fingers grasped a razor, unused by the looks of it, as you picked apart the hooks holding the blades: slicing your fingers as you ripped them out, cussing as they fell to the floor.

Frantically picking them up, you lifted your shorts and began cutting. You could already feel yourself calming down as your heavy sobs transitioned into short gasps for air, sucking in as you glided the blade across your thigh.

“…what are you doing?”

You dropped the blade once again as you looked at the door. Sunny stood there, his eyes not meeting yours- staring down at the blood from your leg dripping onto the floor. His face varied from his usual blank expression, eyebrows furrowing in confusion and worry as he cautiously stepped into the room.

He crouched down beside you, wordlessly reaching into the cupboard under the sink as he pulled out a first-aid kit and placed down antiseptic and some bandages. Still not saying a word, he cleaned and bandaged your wounds, his hands acting carefully and quickly as he tied the bandage; you saw the slight shake in them, though, as he placed his hands on yours and looked into your eyes.

“…please… don’t do that…”

His voice was quiet as you felt your eyes filling with tears yet again, biting your lip as Sunny wrapped his arms around you in a hesitant, yet comforting hug.

“I’m sorry you feel this way.”

His tone was laced with sincerity as you cried into his shoulder, shaking your head as you gripped his shirt.

“It-its okay… thank you”

You wiped your tears, mustering up a smile at him as he nodded and smiled slightly back.

“Any time”

Basil

You couldn’t take it anymore. Aubrey and her gang were getting to rough for you. You could hardly go anywhere without them finding you and saying or doing something that left you in shambles. Why couldn’t you just have a good day?

You slammed your door, searching your drawer es for your exacto knife as you sat on your bed and began cutting.

“Are you okay?”

You looked up at your boyfriend Basil, fighting back tears as your hands shook. You dropped the blade in your hands and it clattered against the floor as he crept into the room, his face contorting in sadness with each step he took. You had forgotten you’d invited him over.

“I’m.. uh- I’m sorry for just walking in like that..-I did knock! But um.. you didn’t answer… so I… got worried” his voice was shaking as he cautiously sat down beside you on your bed, keeping a safe distance in between the both of you in case you didn’t want him there.

He looked down at your hands; they fiddled with the hem of your skirt as your tugged it down to hide your scars, noticing his gaze. He sighed slightly and hesitantly placed a hand over both of yours, ceasing your fiddling as you widened your eyes at his boldness.

“Listen… I- I know how you feel… and if you need to talk… or vent… or just.. anything, come to me, okay? Please?” He squeezed your hands comfortingly “it really hurts me to see you like this…”

“I’m sorry…”

He frantically moved his hand off yours, raising it to your shoulder as you shook with your sobs.

“No… y/n… don’t apologise” he winced as you buried your face in your hands, crying uncontrollably as he pulled you closer to him and ran his fingers through your hair, kissing your temple as you sobbed.

“It’s okay… you’re okay…”

You hiccuped in between each gasp for air as he shushed you gently.

“I’m right here”

Kel

No… no, no… not this again…

You woke up with a start, jumping as your teacher dropped a pile of books on your table.

“I hope you were having a nice dream, y/n.”

No you were not.

He pushed the books towards you harshly.

“Unfortunately, while you were asleep, we had already discussed and partly read all of these; so if you wouldn’t mind, I’d like a full essay on all four of these books by Monday” his voice was full of evil as you shoved them into your bag, glaring at him as he walked back to the front of the room. Kel looked at you and mouthed an ‘are you okay?’ As you simply looked down at your feet in response. Friday last periods were always the worst.

You walked down the road and out the gate on your way home, Kel rambling on about god knows what as you thought about your recurring nightmare:

Mari… hanging from that very tree… her neck twisted into an impossible position as her mouth and eyes were wide open and gaping with a vast darkness leading to nothingness. You can’t get her image out of your head.

“Y/n, are you okay?” Kel brought you out of your thoughts as you mustered up a smile and nodded your head in response.

“I’m fine! You don’t need to walk me all the way home, Kel, I’m fine from here!” You turned around and walked down your street as Kel stared after you, confused “I’ll see you tomorrow!!”

Kel hummed and walked the rest of the way to his house, thinking of you for the rest of the day.

By Saturday, Kel was starting to get worried.

He hadn’t seen you all day and on top of that you wouldn’t answer his texts!

Were you having a bad day?

Had he done something wrong?

“Mom, I’m heading out! I’ll be back soon!” Kel yelled from the front door, swinging it open before his mother could protest about it.

As he walked to your house, he grew increasingly more worried.

What if you didn’t want to see him?

What if you hated him?

What if…

What if it happened again?

He brushed that thought from his mind, knocking on your door and waiting for a response. After around a minute, he knocked again.

“Y/nnnnn? Are you home?”

His hand reached for the door handle, twisting the knob as he walked into the house; he knew it was rude, but he didn’t really have much choice, at this point.

“Y/n? Are you here?” He walked up the stairs, stopping in front of your room as he raised his hand to knock. He paused. Was that… crying?

He swung the door open, not even bothering to knock as he found you on your bedroom floor, razor blade in hand as blood poured from your forearms and thighs.

“Holy shit! Y/n what did you do?” As he said that, more tears left your eyes as Kel rushed towards you, snatching the blade from your hands as he threw it across the room, gently pulling you up from the ground (also being mindful not to touch your open wounds with his probably dirty hands) as he brought you to the bathroom and searched for a first aid kit.

He was silent as he patched you up, a miserable look adorning his features.

“What happened?”

He placed a hand on your knee, circling his thumb over past scars and wincing slightly at the sight of them.

“…I don’t…” you tried to speak, but found that no words would leave your mouth. More tears sprung to your eyes as Kel brushed a stray strand of hair being your ear and kissed away your tears “…i-…” your mouth hung open, your fingernails digging into your skin in frustration; noticing this, Kel pried your hands away, holding them in is as he stroked his thumb over your knuckles.

“Y/n… i dont know what’s going on, or why you do this to yourself, but- please- just… text me, or call me or come find me or something! I can’t live with myself and call myself a good boyfriend if I just let you hurt yourself like this! I can’t imagine how long you’ve had to deal with this alone, but I’m here now and I want to help… please?”

You silently nodded your head as you placed it against his chest, wrapping your arms around him as he reciprocated the embrace.

Mari

You cried harder than you’ve ever cried before as you dragged the knife across your skin. Why did things have to be this way? Why did you feel like this? You didn’t know.

She pulled you into a hug, shushing you gently as you cried into her shoulder, a few of her own tears slipping out despite her trying to stay strong for you.

“I love you… I love you so much y/n” her voice was soft as she pulled away and caressed your tear stained cheeks “please don’t do this to yourself” her thumbs wiped away tears that poured down your face as she kissed your nose, your forehead, your eyelids and all over your face causing you to eventually break out into giggles.

“There’s that smile!” She finally kissed you on the lips, taking you by surprise “I love you” she said again, smiling at you reassuringly as she pulled up your arm and kissed your scars, making your chest swell “I love all of you”

By the time you had made it back to your dorm, you had a numerous amount of missed calls and messages from him, but you couldn’t bring yourself to even look at the notifications.

He would be so disappointed if he knew what I got.

God I’m so, so stupid! You hit your head harshly with your fist as you crouched to the ground. Thank god your roommates were out.

You made your way to the bathroom, swinging open the door as it hit the wall with a bang; hopefully you wouldn’t have to pay repairs for that later. You rummaged around in the cupboard for a while before coming across your small box full of blades, pulling it out and sitting on the floor as you fished one out and dragged it across your skin in frustration.

Your head shot up as you saw hero standing in the doorway to the bathroom, his face horrified as he looked down at you.

“Jesus Christ… what happened? God… fuck… okay… it’s okay… just.. just stay there, okay? Do you have a first aid kit?” You sat there, in a state of shock as he crouched down in front of you and grabbed a chunk of toilet paper and pressed it to your leg. You hadn’t even realised how badly you were bleeding. You hadn’t even realised he had come in.

“Y/n? Are you okay? Do you have a first aid kit?” He looked you in the eyes as you slowly nodded and he followed your gaze to the cupboard “okay, keep applying pressure to that wound, alright?” He stood up and brought the small box over, his worry worsening as he saw the amount he had to work with.

“You need to press harder than that,” he placed a hand over yours, pressing down on your leg as you winced in pain “I know it hurts, I’m sorry, honey” he rummaged through the box with one hand as he kept the other pressed on your leg, pulling out bandages and antiseptic as he removed the toilet paper and grabbed some more, soaking it in the antiseptic before pressing it to your wound once again, a pained cry coming from your throat.

“I’m sorry, I’m sorry, love, it’s the only way” you held onto his free arm and dug your nails into his skin as tears dripped onto the floor from the pain. After a solid 30 seconds, hero lifted the antiseptic and grabbed the roll of bandages; placing a hand under your knee to lift your leg, he wrapped the around several times before pinning it in place.

He let out a long breath, raising a hand to stroke your hair as you let go of his arm; Instead raising your hands to your face as you cried.

“I’m sorry! I’m sorry, I’m so stupid! God..!” You yelled in between your sobs as hero continued to caress your hair, pulling you to his chest as you continued to cry.

“Dont apologise, honey, it’s okay… it’s okay” he wrapped his arms around you properly; he wasn’t entirely sure if he was comforting you or himself with his constant reassurance. It’s okay… you won’t end up like her… it’s okay.

A/N: I do not take request anymore, yet i would find intresting if you have an idea and you can share it with me. Im sorry this took so long, i have been working a lot. Im also sorry if this turns out to be kind of depressive in some parts, have in mind you will be seeing this mostly from sunny's point of view and i think it would be kind of normal that he would have this kind of thoughts, by the way this is too short and i know, sorry.

Yet Omori still holds his darkest feelings, desires and thoughts.

Even if he knows that he craves a human tie he finds himself retracting in any way he can from you. ¿what if he does it again? he can't stop thinking about it, but you are just so ethereal that he can't help but be drawn towards you. He is a monster, an assassin, ¿what would you like about him? He loves you, and he hates himself for that. He will corrupt you one way or another, but being with you, oh what a dream when he's with you he finds himself in a fairytale, it's better than the headspace, he can breathe.

Sunny was zoned out, but then he realizes that you were talking, he quickly apologized and asked you nicely to repeat youself as he tilted his head to the side. He was genuelly intrested in what you were saying.

"Im sorry, could you repeat that please?"

He was shaking slightly, ¿what could he do now? He doesnt even know how it really began, he can't tell anything about it else than the burning feeling on his chest and the suddent need to hold you in his arms for days, than the suddent need to protect you, for Omori is a waste of time, for Sunny love is something natual and real, something you make him feel.

He loves your voice, he loves it when its dedicated to him, he loves when he is the person you are looking at, Omori said it was egoistical yet Sunny only finds comfort on the sun that reflects on your eyes, its the only way he doesnt feel the soild falling on his feet, the only way he doesn't feel lost.

Sunny loves you, nobody is going to ever deny that, but oh how wonderfull it would be to tell you just how he loved you, if you only knew what he would do for you. He would do near everything, he just needs a chance, he doesn't ask for much, ¿does he?

He is desperated, clinging to his only ray of hope: You, if you knew you would stay or you would leave? What if you leaved him, what would he do after?... No, you won't leave, he will do whatever you want if you dont leave, he will beg on his knees for you to stay if it is necessary, he won't loose you.

He will always check on you to help you if you have trouble because your clumsy. For exemple, if you fall or almost fall he will be there for you by trying to catch you or if you are hurt he will put you somes bandages. Kel will try to make you find the positives sides of being in large crowd and talk to many people, but if you are really too anxious he will understand and apologies. He never really realize that you are clumsy but will help you if you need help with somethings.

Yandere Kel Won't Let You Escape - yandere!kel (omori) x reader

"I love you so so much... SO SO MUCH!" Kel cries out, he cries out that he's suffocating. Suffocating with his love for you, his burning heart for you. After making you drink a special OJ from him while you were trying to leave his house in the night, you quickly started to fall asleep and you are now tied down to his bed frame.

Kel is sweating, panting. He's panting in the presence of you, the thoughts of him preserving you forever made him go crazy, butterflies are in his stomach. Kel takes a deep breath as he shakes. "I'm going to go get some fresh air..." Kel stood up, only for him to turn back at you, you stopped struggling. "You want anything?"

You nod your head no as Kel walked away from the room, there you had the perfect opportunity. Those photos, those photos on the walls of just you and Kel were haunting memories, tainted with evil by how Kel has locked you into his own personal domain, to keep you away forever, they were haunting reminders of his obsession for you. Each photo resembling a different story, a story that Kel mistook for true love and obsession.

You maneuver your way to cut the ropes off however, and you drop to the ground after being in the bed for a while. You stumble across the walls, heading to the exit bedroom door. Seeing all these items, guitar, everything. But one thing stood out the most, a whole shrine of you.

Kel has been watching you this whole time, his energetic and friendly demeanor just covers up the sinister factor that he’s been watching you for over a year. You slowly gasp at the news. You run up the hallways.

“Y/N?” Kel called out, you slowly froze and stood to turn, that kitchen table with the glass of tampered OJ you just drank, right behind it, lied an obsessive Kel. Shaking. “What are you doing?” Kel shakily questioned you, he seemed unhinged. You slowly back away as you try to stay away from the exit door, not pushing anything else further.

You explained that you just needed some fresh air, and that you weren’t planning on leaving him. This only made Kel more questioning, the fury growing inside of him. “Then… how did you manage to get out of the tight ropes? I tied it extra tight just for you! H-how… did you…” Kel questioned himself, was he not doing anything right to keep you safe?

You slowly backed out as soon as Kel kept thinking, muttering to himself that he’ll protect you and how much he loves you. The photos on the wall depicting just that, as true obsession grows over Kel. “You sure you don’t want to talk this out of a burger?” Kel asks, as you back away just a little. You knew his shenanigans, you knew how he tampered with that glass of OJ that led you into this mess.

You explain that you don’t want to talk this over a burger. Rather, you just couldn’t trust him anymore with food or drinks. “W-why?” Kel asks, you kept explaining. “I thought we were having a nice sleepover Y/N… a long-lasting one.” Kel frowned and looked down. He grabbed the basketball he picked from the ground. “I want to play basketball with you, I want to be with you, I want to protect you, I WANT TO KEEP YOU SAFE!” Kel yelled out.

Kel dropped the basketball, bouncing for a mere 12 times on the ground as each time it hit, Kel looks at you with those eyes, those pleading eyes but at the same time, those eyes picture more of a sinister look. If Kel can’t have you, nobody else can, and he’ll do whatever it takes. Snatch you with his own bare hands, suffocate you with his embrace and warmth to make sure you won’t feel outed.

“Y/N, you can’t go out.” Kel said bluntly, you tried to back away even more from him, but Kel stood up from his seat and took a step further. “Remember that time… when you had a gaping wound in your leg?” Kel made you remember that same exact memory. “You asked me to help you with the pain, it gave me a sense that.. y-you wanted me to keep you safe. You wanted me to take you away from this misery… and Basil would take a bunch of photos of it remember? How I’d hug you and try to heal your leg…” Kel recounts these memories, these memories hung up on the walls.

“It meant that you wanted to seal a bond with me, right?” Kel said, he was shakily breathing. Almost zombie-like, he needed to protect you, he needed to be with you. “I… I can’t live without you Y/N…” Kel pleaded, as he slowly takes a step further and further towards you. Almost reaching out his hands towards you. As you slowly back away. “Why are you trying to hide from me?” Kel started to smile, his smirk turned into psychotic laughter and smiles. His eyes, sinisterly dark. “I’M THE ONE KEEPING YOU SAFE!”

You started to dash for the exit door, just for Kel to catch up to you and outrun you, pushing you to the ground missing the exit door completely, as Kel chased right after you. You began to dash through the halls, managing to find the staircase as you climb up. Kel chased right after you, dragging you down by the leg. As you try your best to kick him away. “Y/N! STOP PLAYING RIGHT NOW!” Kel psychotically yelled out. Now, that sweet energetic boy that you once knew is an obsessed psychotic delusional person who craves you and only you.

Kel giggles as you kick him down, he thinks this is a fun hide-and-seek tag game, isn’t it? You kept running down the hallway, stumbling and scared for your life. Kel came down shortly after. “Y/N! TIME OUT!” Kel yelled out as he whined, you quickly hid nearby on the side of your bed, in front of a window that you could use to climb down.

Since Kel was incredibly athletic, he could take you down in a single maneuver, so you tried your very best to stay silent. Kel doesn’t even notice your raggedy breathing as you see his feet pattering against the carpet floor. “Y/N?” Kel searched frantically everywhere for you, you can even hear the sound of his electric guitar twanging as it hit the ground. Leading Kel to groan in a bored way.

“I’M DONE PLAYING THIS GAME WITH YOU Y/N!” Kel yelled out, as you slowly try to open the window, it couldn’t budge. “I wrote the investigators a message, pretty sure they’d be nice to stop trying to look for you…” Kel muttered out, you keep trying to budge the window open. Kel kept groaning for you to come by. “I’ll tear off all your limbs Y/N… if that means you couldn’t leave.. heheh..” Kel chuckled, he was going crazy now. What seemed to be a cool, energetic person sinisterly turns the pages into an obsessed maniac, waiting to attack.

You kept cranking the window to make it budge, but it couldn’t. “Y/N?” Kel questioned, he hasn’t checked the bedroom yet. As you kept trying to budge the window, you decided to smash it instead but the windows still wont budge. What the fuck is this window even made out of? As you kept trying your hardest you hear a loud creak which startled you and made you look back. Until… a short while of silence.

“Y/N..” Kel whispered as he maniacally chuckled. You look down at your foot, hands were emerging from under the bed as you screamed, your legs were dragged underneath the bed as you try to get a grip but couldn’t. Kel kept covering your mouth as he holds you down on top of you.

“Shhh… shhh…” Kel smirked, the darkness was enveloping him.. the whole entire sight was just dark underneath the bed. “I love you so much Y/N… how could you even try to escape me? Why would you escape the one who’ll keep you safe? The one who’ll love you!?… I guess I might have to punish you to stop you from leaving…” Kel muttered, the word “punish” makes you struggle, your eyes widened. As you kept struggling Kel kept shushing you and putting you down like a rabid dog.

Kel slowly smirks yet again. “All the ways I could make you scream…” Kel chuckled, all the different ways. “Maybe if you weren’t so naive to escape, then this wouldn’t have happened. Either way, I won’t let you outside… not ever.” Kel kept laughing psychotically, impulsive thoughts are roaming around the room in his head. Kel puts in more pressure to your mouth, this time putting both hands in your mouth, intoxicating your nose with the smell of orange juice and obsession.

His body pressed more into you while on top, making you unable to move or shimmy out the way. Kel laughs hearing your grunts and begs, pleading to let yourself out was like ear candy for Kel. “Awwww, shhh… it’s okay. We’re just having fun are we?” Kel chuckled yet again, smirking at you as his pressure starts pushing more and more, leading you to feeling unconscious and bound to faint. He pushes down more on you making you groan helplessly as he kept pushing down slowly but surely to make you faint.

“They don’t love you like I do Y/N, so why would you try to escape me?… Now, I really wonder what limb should I try first?”

You hear another chuckle, and gone. Gone you were. Waiting to be awoken again.

Kel is the type of person who can vibe with anyone as long as they aren't a horrible person. ( Or act like Mikhael. Even then there's a chance. )

I'd say give it maybe a couple weeks? He's never been in any kind of relationship like this one so he may act a little different than usual for a while. Once that's over though, he's pretty much the same eager ball of sunshine! He'll always want to nag them to come out and enjoy the world with him and will do everything in his power to be around them! After all, it's way more fun hanging with them than being at home..

Now this can be up for debate, but I think Mari wouldn't take long at all to grow comfortable with her significant other. In her opinion, communication and trust are key parts to any lasting relationship so she doesn't mind coming to you when she's a little bothered by things. ( Which happens more times than one may think )

I see her taking maybe around a few months ( like three to four ) before completely letting the person in. It's nothing personal, she just wants to gauge their personality and see whether or not this relationship will be able to last.

Now, Mari doesn't act much different when she's comfortable with people. Subtle things do change though. For example, her smile seems more relaxed and she gets less upset when making mistakes around that person. Their presence soothes her and as a result, she's less uptight around them.

For Hero, it really depends on when he got into the relationship. If it was before his relationship with Mari, which is not likely, he's not that much different to Kel. He'll spend a lot time with the person and pretty much tell them anything and everything. If it's after his relationship with Mari, which is more likely, it'll be much different.

You see, Hero has experienced heartbreak in one of the worst possible ways and it'll take time for him to heal. That being said, I really don't see him dating anyone until that happens, but let's say that he does. Realistically, it take quite some time which can vary from a few months to a year to way longer than that.

Now, Hero is still Hero so he'll treat whoever he dates with the kindness and respect that they deserve and will do everything he can to make sure they're happy and healthy, ( both physically and mentally ) however when it comes to verbalizing his own emotions, that's where we hit a nail. Whoever he dates would have to be very patient with him otherwise it may cause him to put even more walls up.

When he's finally comfortable around them, it'll show. He'll start telling them things he wouldn't before and'll even rant to them about his problems occasionally. He'll be way more open with his partner and'll be just a tad bit ( a lot ) more clingy than he used to.

Aubrey is a rather tough cookie. Ever since Mari died and everyone distanced themselves, forcing her to cope with everything alone, she has never truly let her walls down in front of others. And, if someone attempted to break down those walls, she'll grow defensive and even violent towards that person.

How long it would take Aubrey to even be comfortable enough to date someone really depends on the personality. Like, I see her letting her guard down quicker if the person is more kind and patient with her like Mari rather than someone's who's short-tempered or rough around the edges like her.

When Aubrey is comfortable around her significant other, she'll be less afraid to tell them how she feels. She'll vent to them, but because of that, she'll be more shy towards them. Aubrey'll also hold that person in higher regard than others and'll hold them close to her heart. When they scold her, she actually listens and tries to do better. If they're upset, she'll be the first to notice and'll be there to listen to them rant/help them out in any possible way. And, she'll always try to make sure that her little fights and other violent affairs never mesh and disturb the person's daily life. In a way, she sees this relationship as a way to pay them back for putting up with her for so long so she'd pretty much do anything for that person.

Sunny's next and oh boy..

I honestly don't see him indulging in any kind of romance with anyone unless him and that person were like childhood friends—I'm talkin' never leaving each other's side, seen everywhere together type of close childhood friend with someone—and even then, it's hard to imagine post-traumatized him feeling comfortable around anyone besides his former friends, let alone a relationship. But for the sake of this, let's say he does..

I can't put a time limit on how long it'll take him simply because I see it depending on which ending we're talking about. Obviously if we're talking about any of the bad endings, he's pretty much a lost dead cause. He's not going to make any attempt to open up to them and no matter how much they may try, there will always be distance between them. Now, if we're talking about good ending Sunny, the person actually has a chance.

There will be a lot of trial and error simply because Sunny's used to keeping things bottled up. He's not used to being upfront and truthful and he's only used to running away and not facing his problems. That being said, I see the process quickening a bit if the person he's dating is super gentle and patient with him. If they just gave him time, and a tiny push here and there, he'll come around. And when he does, he'd be stuck to them like glue.

I feel like he'd make it known with his body when he's truly comfortable around his partner. Whether his shoulders noticeably slump in their presence or maybe he lets his guard down enough to hold you or lean on you. Just something that'll let the person know that he feels truly safe around them! I see him being sorta touch-hungry and expressing it once he's comfortable with that person by giving them a bunch of hugs and cuddles and such.

And hey, maybe he'll even talk! ( Nah I'm playing BAHAHA- )

Finally, we have our sweet boy Basil. The gardening genius that carries a ginormous bouquet of trauma wherever he goes..

It's easy to say that whether the person was his friend prior to the incident or not, it'll take forever for Basil to truly feel comfortable around them.

If they were his friend prior to the incident, well, it all really depends. Was he close ( closer than he was with the others ) with them before the incident occurred? Did they distance themself from the group like everyone else? Did they stick to him and never let him go? Depending on what the person does all depends on how long it'll take. To me, I definitely feel like Basil would spill everything eventually if the person decided to stick with him when everyone grew apart and, as a result, would become sort of this unhealthy lifeline to Basil. Since they'd be the one he confides in about everything, it would grow to the point that they'd be the one thing keeping him together. He'd be at their mercy, and in a way, they'd be at his and nothing would really change until probably after the truth comes out ( if it were to come out ) and Basil got the proper help he needs.

If they weren't his friend before the incident, good luck. They'd be lucky enough to even get a full conversation from him, much less get him to be their friend and harbor any kind of romantic feelings for them. But let's say that is the case. Let's say that through some stroke of luck they managed to befriend Basil and eventually end up in a relationship with him. The person is going to have to put up with a lot. Basil is a very sensitive person and all it takes is one bad interaction for him to completely shut them out. They'd have to tread very lightly ( but not too lightly; if they don't try enough, the relationship's not getting anywhere ) or else they'll end up back at square one. I see this taking years ( specifically four or more ) and really, I only see him completely growing comfortable with the person after some extensive therapy.

When he's finally, fully comfortable with them, he'll be way more verbal and open. The fear of being rejected/judged would've been less apparent and slowly pushed to the back of his mind. Being with them for so long, ( and having gotten at least some bit of therapy since I literally don't see this happening otherwise ) he's grown to trust them to some extent. He's also grown to love rambling to them about whatever's on his mind. Whether that be about flowers or things much darker. I see him craving their touch and he wouldn't mind asking. ( But not too many times, he's still Basil after all ) I see those two spending so much time together that Polly would see them as an extension of the household. ( She'd fix them dinner every evening and would grow concerned if they didn't show up to get it and say hey to Basil. That's how much they'd be together. )

Random Omori x Reader hcs! (Post Mari Accident)

Trying new content!

•Sunny isn’t very used to having parters. You might even be his first partner! He might not express it verbally, but he loves you very much. You’re probably the person he’s the closest too. He loves to get hugs, please give him hugs. Even though he doesn’t ask, he’s probably too scared to ask. He only likes affection from you, though. Remind him of Mari, but ofc not in the sibling way. Ew. But anyways, he tries his best to comfort you when you need it. Even if he needs it more. Sometimes he’ll invite you to go out with him and have picnics at Mari’s grave. Just reassure him you love him, he needs it.

•I’m not sure how you got Basil to warm up to you, but once you as him out you’re now his comfort person. You and Polly of course. He loves nose kisses, actually any kinds of kisses, no matter how red it makes his cheeks go. He also likes laying under trees with you, sitting in the sun until he falls asleep. He’s honestly an angel to you, dedicating a specific section of his garden to you.

•Dating Hero is very bittersweet, so be gentle with him. He tries as hard as he can to make sure you know he loves you, because he feels like he didn’t reassure Mari how much he loved her. He doesn’t talk about Mari much, but when he does it’s usually of his past memories with her. But other than Mari, he is the sweetest man ever! He does everything for you, even un-needed things. He’s very romantic, cooking you dinner and even teaming up with Basil to give you flowers.

•Kel is imperfect, but he’s all you could ever want! He’d love to play basketball with you, and if you don’t play he’d teach you! He’s very chaotic, sometimes almost burning his house down from trying to boil water. But he’s well meaning of course! He’s always got his arm wrapped around your shoulders, and brags to his friends about you. He’s one of those people that tries to do something smooth like handing you a rose, but he’ll accidentally cut his fingers with the thorns.

•Aubrey was difficult to warm up to, but once you did, she never let go of you. She always tags along with you or makes you tag along with her. She’d rather not tell anyone, but if anyone finds out she’d probably threaten whoever exposed it. She might not say much, but she really loves you. She doesn’t talk about Mari much because she thinks it makes her look weak, but if she ever does your relationship would only get stronger.

•Mari too because why not! She’s very sweet to you, always trying pick up lines but ultimately failing. If you go to see her and Sunny’s performances she’d be so thankful! She loves to kiss you aswell, and she also loves bantering while at picnics.

KEL

at first he was shocked to see someone was moving in to his old friend’s house.

he immediately ran to someone he saw first, and that person is you.

“hey! you just moved here? my name’s KEL, its nice meeting you!”

the two of you instantly became friends due to his outgoing nature, you would often invite him to your house and he would accidentally spill out something about the siblings.

“this is where MARI used to- nevermind…”

KEL notices that everytime he suggested to have a sleepover on your house, you would always avoid it and tell him that his house is much better.

he eventually agreed and lets you sleep over his house.

though on the middle of the night, he found you nowhere to be seen.

he searched everywhere around his house, until he heard sobbings on the bathroom. KEL rushed in to see you crying on the floor.

he instantly wrapped you in a hug and asked you whats wrong, you told him everything. How you’re always seeing a girl with black hair everytime yo open your eyes on top of you.

KEL was suprised, he asks you on the ghosts features, you told him that she has a black hair, pale skin, wore a white dress, and has a mark on her neck.

he grew paler everytime you told him the features and told you to sleep over his place whenever you felt uneasy.

AUBREY

probably looks at you from her window 24/7

though occasionally she would see you throwing stuff at …something..?

AUBREY starts to approach you after a few days moving in to the neighborhood.

then she would ask you if she could come over, she finds it suspicious that you look hesitant to let her in. But you let her in one way or the other.

she starts to look around and told you that this house was once her friend’s.

“do you know, (name)? this house was once my friend’s… until she committed sui- nevermind.”

that thing scared you to death, you start to hyperventilate. All those nights you saw a ghost are real, and its someone who has killed themself.

AUBREY immediately starts to tell you to calm down, which you eventually calmed down.

“h-hey! we could.. come over to my house if you want. Though its not the best place to sleep.”

its better than seeing that ghost around trying to poke at your things.

BASIL

at first he was terrified when he saw your cars parked outside his friend’s used-to-be house.

he couldn’t imagine how much was going on inside that house, especially since the treehouse was still there and that.. tree.

even though the tree has been cut down, it still pretty much gave him the trauma.

BASIL decided to take an approach on you after your first day of living there.

but what he find was completely different from what he expected. He saw you looking so much different from when the first time he saw you moving.

yesterday you looked so happy, so full of excitement… but now you looked so dull, so scared.

BASIL instantly knew what was going on, it must’ve been… something. It was going after you.

“no.. not again. (n-name)! its okay, everything is okay…”

he saw how terrified you looked after going inside the bathroom, it must’ve suffocated you.

he’s happy that SUNNY is finally moving on, but now.. BASIL has to take care of you.

he couldn’t let something take you aswell, he’s not the only one who could saw it. He has you now after he left.

“(name).. i know this feels scary, but trust me. I know how to solve all of this… once and for all.”

HERO

he didn’t know how to feel when he first saw you unpacking your furniture inside his late crush’s house.

after sometime, he took all of his courage and starts to walk towards your house.

after telling each others names, you thought that it would be a nice thing if you invited him over for dinner.

“oh? ofcourse, (name)! i- uhh see you at seven!”

to tell you he was NERVOUS. Its been awhile since he’s been there, he doesn’t know if he’s mentally prepared for this. But he went for it anyway.

HERO was nervous at the dinner table, usually he’s not the type to sweat but this is his late crush’s house for stars sake.

you excused yourself to go to the bathroom, HERO found it quite suspicious since he’s saw you went there a hour ago. And you didn’t even eat or drink anything.

he eventually excused himself too and went to look out for you, he knocked on the door and went in.

“you.. you saw it too didn’t you?”

HERO couldn’t understand what you’re talking about until when he saw her corpse hanging on that forsaken tree.

“but- but i thought her dad has cut down the tree..”

you were suprised that he knew about this, and asked him more on what he know.

“you need to tell me on what happened here.”

tries to go all out and hand-make you gifts for your birthday and such but he feels bad since it can never out-do your gifts

he's kinda scared you're gonna betray him and you're trying to get on his good side or something, so it helps if u reassure him you just love him a whole lot

AUBREY

she doesn't get it, why would you do something like that for lil old her??

but she cherishes everything you do for her to the fullest extent.

she spends a lot of time at ur house and has lots of sleepovers with u to get away from her own home life

she rlly thinks she doesn't deserve you. like at all

tries to take you places and pay for your meal but she can't do it all the time, so she makes the most out of every date and trip

gets embarrassed if u show up with a gift and just hugs you until she isn't flushed anymore,, she can't have you seeing her face!!

if you buy him food or take him to GINO's a lot he'll try to cut down his order to make you pay less but gobbles it all up

he tries to tell u not to get him anything but he is a big growing boy that needs his nutrients. he gobbles up whatever you buy so you know none of it went to waste

HERO

he's also confused. why are you buying him all of this?? cookbooks??? new, fancy silverware??? paying his dogs medical bills??? what the fuck

but he realizes that's stupid and awkwardly accepts anything u do/give him. he gets all blushy about it and starts stuttering though

You always reminded Sunny of his sister, since both of you were really kind to everyone and also elegant.

Sunny is a person who doesn't talk a lot, like, literally, and having you to do the social interaction for him when he really isn't feeling like it makes him really grateful.

It was a bit... Refreshing having you around.

He was always with some intrusive thoughts on his head, and your presence alone made him chill more.

Sunny appreciates the fact you never forced him to talk, only stopping for a moment to see if he wants to, if he doesn't, you keep talking.

Another thing is that he loves how you never touch him without asking, it makes him more comfortable with you.

Basil liked to hang out with you the most! Ever since what had happened, you were the only person who actually went to check on him.

You always listened whenever Basil talked about his plants to you, and even offered on helping him sometimes. When you wanted to hug him, you always asked first. Which was really nice of your part. Basil really liked how elegant you were, it was so amazing! No matter how bad his day was, you were always there to comfort him without even asking for him to do the same. Though he'd feel guilty if he didn't do the same, so you two are kinda of just being sweethearts to each other!

Kel loves your energy!! He doesn't like negativity so having someone who can match his positivity is really refreshing! He seems like he would do a lot of those grimaces(that's the name? 😭). Seeing how you never really told him to stop, instead, laughing with him, made Kel really happy. Whenever he accidentally hurt himself or something, you would always help him to take care of it.

Hero was really grateful for having you there, especially after the incident. You tried your best to keep everyone together, and even if it didn't work that well, you still talked to everyone. Including him. Hero liked hanging out with you, since you were always really gentle with whatever happened. Though he was worried you might have been just trying to hide your feelings 😭 (Hero is best boy frr)

Aubrey was quite the opposite of you, and it was fun how you two managed to get so close. She would often talk to you about something bad that happened during her day because she knows you won't judge her or complain about her non stop talk. Aubrey has more of a soft spot for you, so you can expect her to actually listen when you give her advice or warn her about something. Whenever something happens to you, Aubrey will go feral to defend you, while you just stay there watching her like 🫠😍

She's more open to you than anyone else because Aubrey is sure you're not telling it to anyone.

Mari loves you so much!! And you two are also really similar so!! She's always watching you from afar, in case something happens, like someone being rude to you because Mari knows you're not going to defend yourself 😭

Always asks for your opinion on anything. Literally anything. Just so she could have another point of view, you know?

And since you're the chillest of the group, Mari prefers to ask you. Likes to go out with you to whatever place you feel like going! She trusts you so she doesn't mind what you chose.

Quick note: Im literally so sorry i tried to write aubrey hc but they were so bad💀💀 Maybe in the future ill write something just for her. Also first post hope you guys like it if there are any mistakes please tell me :D

Sunny

-he honestly hates school since he isn’t quite used to it (cause like 4 years w/o school 😭)

-but yk you make his school year a little better

-if you two would be in the same classes he would be extremely happy

-prolly follow you every where too

-you try to introduce him to some of your other friends but he just ends up staying silent and listening to your conversations

-if you two have no classes together he’d be pretty nervous

-I mean he’s extremely anxious and also he knows literally no one in his class

-you probably would try to convince the teachers to switch sunny schedule w someone else ♡

-his best class would be art and/or English

-idk I feel like he uses art to just let all his feelings on paper since he isn’t good at expressing things.

-and with the English headcanon, idk I just feel like he would be really good at it 🫂

Basil

-similar w sunny except he’s a little more open to things

-if y’all end up in the same classes he would be pretty excited

-would help you w notes and homework

-his handwriting is so goddamn neat (😭)

-at school he often hangs out w key,aubrey and you. So he isn’t really lonely

-Kel is pretty outgoing and has a few friends here and there yk

-he doesn’t really get bullied but Aubreys gang kinda messed w him sometimes

-if kel is in your class he would be ecstatic

-(he copies off your page during tests/quizzes)

-he is the class clown and is pretty loud

-gets a bit of detention due to that

-also always want to team up w you in partner works

-if he isn’t in your class he would be mad and try to convince (beg) the principle to change

-it doesn’t work :(

-he would use the excuse of ‘going to the bathroom’ to go to your class room and make funny faces through the glass window

-He has a few friends in other classes as well so he isn’t completely lonely and still does his funny jokes

-his best class would be sports

-that isn’t much of a surprise and I mean he joins the basketball team

-but his other good subject would be Spanish

-I headcanon kels family to be hispanic and that his mom taught him some basic Spanish as a child
