do you know where are the the best places or mosteffective to donate to help palestinians atm? like charities ect
In terms of direct aid it is better to give money directly to families in Ghazza than to a charity. Charities, governmental and nongovernmental organisations &c., are seldom able to use funds to distribute aid right now, as few trucks are getting through, and none to the north of Ghazza.
ETA on Charities in Ghazza:
Taawon Association (in partnership with the Bank of Palestine) are distributing hot meals in Ghazza.
The World Food Programme (WFP) is getting food parcels into Ghazza, though I can't find them sharing a more specific location anywhere. Donate here.
The Palestinian Children's Relief Fund (PCRF) is providing medicine, food, and water. Their website specifically mentions food relief in north, central, and south Ghazza, and water delivered to north and south Ghazza.
Direct aid to Ghazza:
Money given directly to families in Ghazza is used to help them cross the Rafah crossing into Egypt, and/or to purchase plane tickets and apply for visas so they have somewhere to go after arriving in Egypt.
Help Christians in Ghazza get visas to leave
Help Hala Abu Ramadan's family of six leave Ghazza (organized by Mohammed Samhouri, vouched for by @psychoticgerard)
Help Dr. Intimaa AbuHelou's family of 22 leave Ghazza (organized by professer Steve Tamari)
Help Shayma and her family of 16 leave Ghazza (organised by Fardowsa. You may remember a link to a paypal going around to help Shayma; however, paypal has frozen those funds)
Help Shaymaa's family of 13 leave Ghazza (organised by Shaymaa herself, who is in Canada)
Help Sanaa and her family of 5 leave Ghazza and establish themselves in Belgium (organised by Eyad M, vouched for by Motaz Azaiza)
Help sisters Duaa and Deena leave Ghazza and get medical treatment in Cairo (organised by Shereen Alhayek, @.littlestpersimmon's friend's acquaintance)
Help Ahmed (@90-ghost) and his family leave Ghazza via ko-fi, paypal, or gofundme (@unionfish is offering stickers and prints in exchange for donations)
Help a family of Ghazzan refugees in Egypt get medical care and relocate
Buy an e-sim for use in Ghazza
Interruption of arms sent to Israel:
Palestine Action targets arms manufacturers in the US and UK
Palestine Legal offers legal defense for those who get arrested &c. in the course of protest or sabotage on behalf of Palestine
If you have some barrier to donating or to buying e-sims yourself (someone looking through your transactions, no room on your phone for new apps, don't want to mess up the instructions, don't have time to keep up with what's being called for at the moment, literally whatever), I can buy e-sims and move funds on your behalf. My venmo is @gothhabiba; paypal paypal.me/Najia; squarecash $NajiaK; DM me for Zelle information. Feel free to leave a note about where you want it to go (specifically for e-sims; aid to people in Ghazza; &c.)
BDS (Boycott, Divest, Sanctions)
You asked specifically about donations, but if you haven't looked into the boycotts being called for by the Palestinian Campaign for Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel (PACBI) and the Palestinian BDS National Committee (BNC), I urge you to do so.
BDS chapters in your locality may be calling for their own boycotts, so look into that as well. Think creatively about how to minimise purchase of boycotted goods (e.g., getting your union to refuse to shelve Israeli groceries).
Monday strikes
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) has called for weekly strikes on Mondays. Talk to your union or coworkers about strikes or work stoppages on Mondays, if you can. At least avoid making any purchases (goods, recreation, entertainment, food, &c.) on Mondays.

🌷Duaas for seeking forgiveness🌷
There are many, MANY, most beautiful Duaas from the Qur’aan and authentic Sunnah about seeking forgiveness from Allaah Subhaanahu wa Ta’aala
Here are only a few.
📌FROM THE QUR’AAN:
🔺1. Duaa of Adam Alaiyhis-Salaatu was-Salaam to Allaah
“ Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers.” (Surah al Aaraaf:23)
🔺2. The duaa of the righteous
"Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and our transgressions (in keeping our duties to You), establish our feet firmly, and give us victory over the disbelieving people." (Surah Aal-Imraan:147)
🔺3. Duaa of Ibraheem Alaiyhis-Salaatu was-Salaam
"Our Lord! Forgive me and my parents, and (all) the believers on the Day when the reckoning will be established." (Surah Ibraheem:41)
🔺4. Duaa of Nuh Alaiyhis-Salaatu was-Salaam
“My Lord! Forgive me, and my parents, and him who enters my home as a believer, and all the believing men and women.” (Surah Nuh: 28)
🍃The Prophet sal Allaahu Alayhi wa sallam said:
‘Whoever sought forgiveness for believing men and believing women, Allaah writes a good deed for him for every believing man and woman.” (at-Tabrani- hasan by al-Albaani, Saheeh al-Jami’ no. 6026)
🔺5. Duaa of Yunus Alaiyhis-Salaatu was-Salaam
“There is no God but You; Glory be to You, Truly I have been one of the wrongdoers” (Surah al-Anbiyah: 87)
📌FROM THE SUNNAH
🔺1. The BEST duaa for seeking forgiveness
The Prophet sal Allaahu Alayhi wa sallam called this duaa “syedul Istighfaar” or “The Master (the best) of prayers for forgiveness”
“O Allaah! You are my Rabb. There is no true god except You. You have created me, and I am Your slave, and I hold to Your Covenant as far as I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge thefavors that You have bestowed upon me, and I confess to you my sins. Pardon me, for none but You has the power to pardon.”
He said:
“Whoever says this during the day, believing in it firmly, and dies on that day before evening comes, he will be one of the people of Paradise, and whoever says it at night, believing firmly in it, and dies before morning comes, he will be one of the people of Paradise.” (al-Bukhaari)
🔺2. The Duaa that the Prophet sal Allaahu Alayhi wa sallam taught Aaishah radhi Allaahu anhaa
“O Allaah, indeed You are Pardoning, [Generous,] You love pardon, so pardon me.” (al-Tirmidhī)
🔺3. The Duaa the Prophet sal Allaahu Alayhi wa sallam taught Abu Bakr radhi Allaahu anhu
“O Allaah! I have wronged my soul very much (oppressed myself), and none forgives the sins but You; so please bestow Your Forgiveness upon me. No doubt, You are the Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” (al-Bukhaari)
🔺4. The duaa that we say multiple times a day in between the two sujood
“O Allaah forgive me, have mercy on me, guide me, support me, protect me, provide for me and elevate me.” (Ibn Majah, at-Tirmidhi)
🔺5. The duaa that the Prophet sal Allaahu Alayhi wa sallam said in one sitting 100 times.
“O Allaah, forgive me and accept my repentance, for You are the Accepter of Repentance, Most Merciful).” (Abu Dawood and others- saheeh by al-Albaani)
🔺6. The duaa that the Prophet sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam used to recite in his prayer before saying the tasleem:
“O Allah! Forgive me what I have done in the past, and what I will do in the future, and what I have concealed, and what I have done openly, and what I have exceeded in, and whatever You are More Knowing of than I. You are the One who Brings Forward, and You are the One who Delays, there is no (true) diety except You.” (Ahmad, Saheeh)
And there are MANY more.
And Allaah knows best

To Habebi Moaaz,
When i first sat down to write about you, I struggled .. alot cause it meant sharing my vulnerability. But it didn’t take me long to decide to show you that through fragility I became a stronger person. I am finally able to do this today.
I knew you were gone before I was told. It’s a morning that I will never forget. It was the day i managed to convince my father that those 870 km to Aswan worth seeing you, only that hand and forehead kiss were more than enough.
The moment i heard the crack in your mother's voice trying to catch a breath to say out your name and tell me that .. you are gone ... !, Put my heart into peices in a blink of an eye. all remained closed since then, except for that one peice that talks about you .. it's where my heart breathes through ..
I stare at the old photos and videos of us and value the light of your eyes, The way you were able to look out into the world with nothing but unconditional love and kindness. Maybe it’s because you were a child. Or maybe it’s just because you were born an angel🤍
I miss your smile. I miss your voice. I miss your spirit. I miss your unspoken generosity. I miss all your acts of kindness that didn’t require spoken words. I miss your duaa. I miss the sound of my name out of your mouth .. I don’t know if you can hear, sense, or feel my words .. but i miss you and i am sorry for not being there with you. Those tears streaming down my face now says it better than my words do.
“You are the reason why I get out of the bed in the morning, and the reason that keeps me tucked in. You’re the reason I wake up, upset; because I didn’t see you in my dreams, or because I did and didn’t want to wake up. You’re the reason I talk too damn much, and the reason I put my phone on " do not disturb." You’re the reason I stalk emotions and words just to unearth the exquisite intricacies of who you were, and what our relationship meant to life’s bigger picture.”
My heart is still heavy, i have no idea how you held me into little ill of yours all that time! but till we meet again, till i accept the ugly truth that we are all a borrowed time, I'll held you here in mine as carefully as i could. Rest in peace habebi 🤍

It hurts to watch the disbelievers and even those muslims who don't really prioritise their deen or try to get closer to their Creator being blessed with all the things they desire and watch them living their "dream life." Sometimes, you just think "why doesn't Allah love me or listen to my duaas even when I try so hard to please Him? I pray, fast, read Quran and even try my best to avoid sin but my life is much harder than theirs?"
The first thing, most of the time, we only see the blessings others have and overlook the innumerable blessings we have. Secondly, just because Allah gives someone the blessings of His dunya does not necessarily mean He loves them or is pleased with them. So keep trying to stay close to Allah- and even when He doesn't give you everything you want- just know that after this phase of sabr you will be blessed in ways you didn't even imagine. And then when you meet Him on the Big Day, He will show you all the rewards He saved for you because of your patience.
"And be patient, for Allah does not let the reward of the righteous go to waste." [11:115]❤️‍🩹

Salaam, I hope this finds you in a place of peace, I wanted to request something as I know the power of duaa through my experiences, I wanted to ask if it’s ok if you can make duaa for me and my loved one, I am trying to marry someone and we both have the intention of marrying eachother and have been praying for eachother and he is waiting for me to speak to my parents but I don’t know how to approach my parents, I would be so happy if you can make duaa that Allah swt opens doors for us to get married and blesses us with a happy marriage in our khair, we want both of our families to be happy with it and our parents blessings.. I know this may be a big of a request but I am desperate for this duaa because I’ve never felt so content and at peace with so much desire to have my nikkah done
WaAlaykumAssalam.
I want to congratulate you twice. Firstly, lots of good wishes for doing the halal thing, as our Prophet Muhammad SAW (pbuh) has said: “There is no foundation that has been built in Islam more loved by Allah, than marriage.”
Secondly, because you found a kind and brave man who wants to solidify his commitment to you with marriage. Not all men want that and may Allah protect us from such kinds.
May Allah keep this loyalty and love alive in your marital life and may you both complete each other and your deen. Ameen.
May Allah make it easy for you to talk to your parents and may Allah put it in their hearts to bless you both with their love and support. Ameen.
I would like to remind you that no matter what the outcome is, always remember that Allah knows what is best for you, never think you can choose better for yourself than Allah can. It is He who created you; it is He who knows what is best for you. So obey Allah and put trust in Him and His plans. There are no sad endings for those who trust Allah. Allah is with those who have patience. May Allah grant you your happiness with Khayr. Ameen
Take care 🤍

Salaam my beautiful sister, I wanted to ask this of you please remember me and my beloved in your Duaa’s, we are both planning to get our nikkah done in sha Allah I would be so grateful if you could make Duaa that Allah allows us to do this and makes it easier for our families to accept this with happiness. I would be so grateful if you could remember us in your Duaa’s that doors open for both of us to get our nikkah done and enter this new chapter together with the blessings of Allah 🤍
My dear, may Allah grant you both all that is good for you. With both of your intentions, the blessing of marriage and happiness‎ آمین
Patience and striving for Allah’s pleasure will always lead to Barakah in whatever you pursue as long as it is good for you.
For anyone who reads this, may you also keep them in your duas ‎

I recently found out that my ex has moved on and obviously I knew that would happen eventually but I didn’t know it would bother me this much. I don’t know if I wanna cry or laugh.
Everywhere I see people are moving on to finding new people and I feel like I’m stuck in the same spot. I keep praying and asking Allah for guidance to make my heart less heavy and I know Allah has something better written for me but this heaviness is really make me lose my mind.
Yeah, we sometimes try to mentally prepare ourselves for things and think it‘ll be easier, but once the thing occurs, it hits us more than we expected. And I hope you know that it’s okay that you’ve found yourself being more bothered than you’ve expected yourself to be. Let it sink in, let yourself feel it. Only like this you will in sha Allah be able to move on and be ready for what Allah swt. has planned for you. If you push it away, it could maybe work temporarily, but in the long run it will only become a heavy, unnecessary obstacle.
For that I can tell you: You may not be where you want to be, but you are where Allah wants you to be.
(Read it twice, trust me.)
Allah is testing your sabr and tawakkul. Continue praying, that’s the best thing you could possibly do, especially for you to not fall into despair. Seeing everyone in your life move on while you feel like you haven’t moved an inch, is indeed a burdensome feeling. So sabr and tawakkul truly are the key to it all. Allah is the best of planners, your time will come when Allah knows it’s best for you. We won’t understand it, and that’s why having tawakkul is crucial for us all. Keep praying and do not worry about how it’ll happen, He will just make it happen. Keep crying your heart out to Allah, He will lift your heaviness. For some He will faster, for some He wants to hear their voice over and over again. Do not lose hope.
May your hardship be the means for you to enter Jannah, may Allah swt. grant you the ease that comes with your hardship, and may He accept all of your prayers, those you utter aloud, and those that your heart speak, Allahumma ameen. I will make duaa for you.
Remember:
The only way out is through 🤍
