Facts and Headcanons

Koa loves the water, his parents can't keep him out. Malia insists its because he is a fish (when she is younger, but keeps up the joke as they get older.)

Koa enjoys surfing with his father and older sister. He enjoys snorkeling and later, diving. He also spends time cleaning up the beach and waters.

Koa had many pets growing up. He began with a goldfish, but over time expanded his aquarium to a variety of freshwater fish, and later, salt water fish.

He also had two pet turtles that Keiki bought for him. He named one of them Shelly after Keiki's stuffed animal turtle she took everywhere as a child that Bryce bought her.

He is very close with his aunt Keiki.

Koa considered following his parents and sister into the medical profession, but he took a marine biology class and fell in love. He never turned back, and his family couldn't' have been happier that he found his passion as a marine biologist and ocean conservationist.

Unlike the rest of his family, Koa right-handed, like his Aunt Keiki.

During World Wars I and II, hundreds of Native American servicemen from more than twenty tribes used their Indigenous languages to send secret, coded messages enemies could never break. Known as code talkers, these men helped U.S. forces achieve military victory in some of the greatest battles of the twentieth century.

Pfc. Preston Toledo and Pfc. Frank Toledo, Navajo cousins in a Marine artillery regiment in the South Pacific, relay orders over a field radio in their native tongue.

They were present at many important battles, including at Utah Beach during the D-Day invasion in France, and at Iwo Jima in the Pacific. In fact, 5th Marine Division signal officer Major Howard Connor stated, “Were it not for the Navajos, the Marines would never have taken Iwo Jima.”

As Slasher typed on the screen the rest of Skyfire's pokemon were playing around. The leaves beneath the pokemon crinkling and small twigs cracking and snapping. Blueberry even got a shell from the beach close by.

Everyone stopped the second footsteps could be heard. Slasher stood up, dropping the phone with the rotom inside saving the phone from destruction. Slasher immediately stood on guard, blades extending outwards from her arms, heat radiating off them with a ghostly feel to it.

As the footsteps got louder Slasher bolted towards it, jumping up and doing a spin slash to remove the flora and reveal who was there. The flames on Slasher flared out and her blades burned brighter as she readied herself to face her foes.

It was Skyfire, along with the mew and mewtwo who were floating next to them. Slasher glared at the two pokemon but didn't make a move to attack them just yet. Since Skyfire was with them Slasher didn't want to attack as much.

"Your finally back, took you long enough" Slasher huffed, annoyance in her tone.

Skyfire seemed rather surprised for a second. They blinked a few times before saying anything "Oh my arc I can understand you now" They said, breathlessly

"And?" Slasher responded, not seeming to care about that development.

The mew floated over to Slasher, "You seem fun," the mew telepathically spoke.

Slasher flinched back a bit, not liking how close the mew was.

"How about we all get back to everyone, the last couple days have been..something" Skyfire suggested as the mew floated back over to Skyfire and the mewtwo who had stayed silent.

Slasher huffed and nodded, leading the way back to Skyfire's backpack.
