i think it's so crazy how much the dream smp changed everyone's lives. i mean, i, for one, only joined april 2021 which is when a lot of the main lore started dying down, but i can still look back on it and feel nostalgic. almost two whole years of my life revolved around the lore, the characters, trying to run around at 4am catching streams of them either just building or starting wars with each other (clearly there's no in between) and i can truly say it's one of the best arcs of my life.

watching a bunch of the members get together for the last time to kill the dragon so dream could shut down the server was the most bittersweet feeling i had ever felt. moving from tubbo to tommy to sam to bad and lastly to eret. hearing all their separate goodbyes, with tommy and tubbo watching the sunset while listening to the discs, sam in spectator mode with everyone just flying around looking at all the builds (my favourite part was them discovering old builds probably from 2020/2021 and getting excited about seeing them again after such a long time), bad doing the same and just talking about memories, and eret refusing to log off (even after four hours) ((i'm not gunna lie i was waiting for him to log off so i can safely say that dream was the last to leave the server but he took SO long - i know they were only trying to prolong the stream bc they didn't wanna leave which i understand)) and giving one last full tour of the museum. everyone had the most chaotic reactions to it that it truly ended in the most dream smp fashion.

no matter what ANYONE says, the dream smp lore went fucking hard.

also knowing that dream was the very last person to log off will forever keep the tears in my eyes.

i have so much more to say and i'll probably keep adding to this thread (for my sanity) but for now all i can do is say thank you to the server than genuinely brought happiness to me and everyone else.

thank you dream smp. you will always hold a very special place in my heart. nothing will ever compare to you. you changed the game forever.

so thank you to dream, george, and sapnap for creating this server. special mention to karl and quackity, ofcourse. callahan, punz, bad, tommy, tubbo, sam, ant, and basically every single member of the dream smp. you really went on this silly little minecraft server and changed everyone's lives. for the better.

YOUR HANDS WERE BUSY, occupied with the stick substance of dough in your hands as you kneaded it over and over onto the flower covered table.

The lighting was shifted bright against your eyes, the reflecting of yourself and your boyfriends showing perfectly through Karl’s laptop. The chat spammed random things, a bit slow due to stream delay.

Karl huffed beside you, listening to Quackity scream on about how he was the gordon Ramsay of the kitchen and to “Hurry up you muppets”

Karl leaned his messy face on your black hoodie, something you probably shouldn’t have worn due to how much flour and mixtures of different things you were using.

Karl’s long brown hair tickled your neck as he giggled about something, drawing a picture of a dick into the flower like a prepubescent boy.

Quackity gasped at the drawing, looking to the camera like he was in an episode of the office

You laughed, smudging the picture until it looked like squidward. Karl giggled, his hand resting on yours as quackity grabbed something from the fridge.

“Put this is in your bowl.” He giggled- making his voice go higher and obnoxious for the stream as he held out the white can of a monster.

You raised your brow, glancing at the monster before looking towards Karl, who held a look of offense on his face. “Isn’t that Karl’s last can?” You asked, trying not to giggle at the obnoxious pout that graced Karl’s face.

Quackity pretending to think- placed his flour covered hand to his chin, rubbing it like there was more than smooth skin underneath. “Mhm, I don’t care!” Quackity giggled, his other hand going to fix his beanie that had been slowly slipping.

Karl faked a gasp, tugging on his apron while yelling something inaudible from the amount of noise that filled the room.

Karl Kissed your cheek quickly, giggling at the yell that Quackity yelled out when he spotted it. “Now he’s trying to steal the chef’s girlfriend! Chat, did you see that?!” He yelled, a voice so high pitched it made your ears ring slightly.

You smiled, kissing Quackitys cheek and watching as he paused- face going slightly red.

You turned around, facing Karl with a fake seriousness. “Now! Bake the pancakes you muppet!”

Y/n today was sad, they were having a tough time with work and wanted the day to end so they could go back to bed, they were having a little walk around the park trying to make the time move faster nothing according to them being different, that they could see.

Meanwhile, the beast crew were walking around the exact same park, looking for an unsuspecting person, the video was stealing from a random person and then taking them and buying new and upgraded of what they stole with a bit of money. When they saw walking past this person with their head down, their items loosely held in their grasp.

Karl was jumping for joy, this could possibly be the best person, they wouldn't even be suspecting it.

"Karl calm down, we don't want to grab their attention" Chris spoke turning to the brunette.

"I wanna be the one to do it, please please please" Karl begged, looking at Jimmy with big eyes who only nodded. Karl bounced on the spot a little. Slowly walking up to the person as to not be noticed.

Still Y/n didn't think much was happening, still pretty down in the dumps. Feeling a little lonely, all their friends live in California where they grew up but came to North Carolina for uni that ended horribly due to not being able to afford the payments.

Karl was coming closer, that went unnoticed by Y/n. He first took their small handbag, going to walk off but they still slowly continued walking, thinking how unlucky they could be for getting robbed. Karl then took their phone, going to go off again then came back, Y/n offered him their wallet and Karl was confused walking off, looking over at Jimmy, Chandler, Nolan and Chris.

Karl walked back over, handing them their phone and wallet then putting their bag back on their shoulder. Walking off defeated but something else came to mind, he walked back over and lifted them over his shoulder. Y/n let out a surprised sound, Karl giggled. Jimmy, Chandler, Chris and Nolan all looked in disbelief. Karl planted them back on their feet where they all are.

Y/n looked at them all curiously, Karl got a good look at their face and started blushing not realising how gorgeous the person actually was.

"Uh- What is happening" Y/n spoke, breaking the silence.

"Well we were meant to be stealing peoples things then buying new and upgraded items but ummm I don't know how we upgrade from a person" Chandler spoke, looking over at Karl who was now blushing.

"They looked sad, ok" Karl defended, Y/n smiled slightly.

"Well then... uh let's get these new things" Jimmy spoke, leading the crew and Y/n away. Lucky Y/n knew who Mr Beast was and wasn't going with a complete stranger. Karl held out his hand, a flustered look on his face. Y/n took his hand and walked away with him.
