is there a reason it feels like most swings with pants variations dont use the pants for seymour? esme, chiara (although i cant remember if there was a specific reason she used the shorts), karis? those are the ones that came to mind but i know there are others. with karis and esme specifically i dont understand why they would wear a A/H skirt design for seymour when the pants would look better in my opinion (plus i feel like pants for seymour was almost standardized by courtney

Honestly not sure. I LOVE pants for Seymour and always wonder why they don’t do it more.

Chiara Assetta only uses the shorts for all six of her roles (she has pants but has never worn them for a show).

Courtney Stapleton did wear pants for Seymour but her costume was originally designed as A/P and she just switched her covers to S/P later. A similar thing happened with Natalie Pilkington back during Bliss 1.0 - she covered A/C/P, added Seymour later, and wore her Parr pants for the role. Then when Natalie was swing for the UKT she had pants and shorts and wore pants for Seymour.

Right now Esme Rothero, Harriet Caplan Dean, and Karis Oka are the alts who don’t have a Seymour-specific variation but have pants and still wear an Aragon/Howard skirt for Seymour. Esme and Harriet might not wear them because their pants have a peplum and it could look too similar to Parr, although three A/H skirts is a thing as well (but design wise yes it is more unique for S with principal A/H also on than her pants w peplum w principal P also on would be). But no idea why Karis doesn’t, especially considering that her open skirt is a Howard specific variation that does look more like a principal Howard skirt.
