Vacation of choice headcanons for the Akazaya, including Izo too:
Kin'emon - Wants to stay in Wano after the treacherous journey he had abroad. Window shopping and regular shopping in the capital with Tsuru and Denjiro is plenty of excitement for the guy.
Denjiro - Comfy futon. He sleeps for 20 hours minimum.
Kiku - She is curious to see the place where Zoro and Ryuuma fought. After learning that everyone in Zou is very open to hugs, Kiku would also love to visit the Minks’ home someday.
Izo - Goes to Thriller Bark with Kiku. He scares easily though won't admit it. Kiku finds his reactions funny and purposefully takes them to explore the scariest looking parts of the abandoned island. Izo himself would like to visit the island where Ace grew up for the purpose of thanking Dadan.
Raizo - Was hoping to join Kawamatsu, if he decided to go to Fishman Island, specifically to visit the Mermaid Cafe there. He despaired upon learning that Kawamatsu didn't plan to go. Threw himself into ninjutsu training until eventually deciding to go to Alabasta with Neko.
Ashura - He would find the sound of the rushing water at Twin Capes calming. Ashura, Crocus, and Laboon all understand how it feels to wait a long time for someone to return and the three would become fast friends within a few hours.
Neko - Content where he is though has considered traveling to Alabasta to learn about the Poneglyph with info about Pluton.
Inu - A bit of an unexpected one but he'd love to visit Cocoyashi Village. Nami's actions while helping to care for the Minks after Jack's attack really impressed him and he wants to see the kind of place she grew up in and thank her family and friends.
Kawamatsu - Is content with his identity as a Kappa, doesn't feel a strong need to visit Fishman Island though he wouldn't object to it either. Though hearing Franky mention a certain sumo wrestling amphibian that lives in Water 7 captured the Kappa's interest.

The Akazaya headcanon weeks, Day 9: Kawamatsu
Tumblr media
Prompt question: Do they have any personal insecurities?
My take:
These days, Kawamatsu does not really have many insecurities. Over the years, thanks to being surrounded by accepting friends, he learned to love himself - at least a little. It has not always been this way, though.
In his youth, Kawamatsu definitely struggled with looking different than all others that surrounded him in Wano country. Having witnessed his mother get stoned just for being like him, he used to be insecure about being a fishman. To this day, he still would rather introduce himself to strangers as a kappa; and in the past, he would simply do everything he could to resemble a fishman as little as possible: long hair, large hat, and a scarf all helped to conceal his face when he didn’t want it to be seen. Now, though, he is quite proud of his legacy and he definitely wishes to learn more about it - once Wano opens, the first place he will travel to will be Fishman Island, hands down.
While his physical insecurities are mostly gone, Kawamatsu still has some minor insecurities tied to some of his past actions and choices. Specifically, he still feels bad about having practically robbed graves to gather weapons, and he still feels like he failed to protect Hiyori well enough. Even though he’s the sweetest, most wholesome person, these two fragments of his past weigh on him, and make him insecure about whether he is really a good person.
What do YOU think? Feel free to participate in this event by replying to the prompt question in reblogs or comments! Any other headcanons about Kawamatsu that you’d like to share? This is the time to do this too!
Officially - that’s it for the main 9 Akazaya! However, this is not the end of our event, not yet - there’s 5 more days to go, featuring Izou, Oden, Toki, Hiyori, and Momonosuke. Thank you for reading and participating!

A Japanese Puffer-fish Fishman, Kawamatsu proclaims to be a kappa in the land of Wano to avoid persecution, a fate his mother tragically suffered. Shortly after meeting Lord Oden he became infatuated, and grew strong to become a member of the Nine Red Scabbards. After the burning of Kozuki Clan’s castle, Kawamatsu tasked himself with protecting Kozuki Hiyori, the only Kozuki family member living without skipping time. One day she ran off in fear of using his resources, and so Kawamatsu went to Ringo’s graveyard to collect dead samurai’s swords. A disgraceful act, but necessary if the raid in 20 years is to work. There he befriended Gyukimaru, the protector of Ringo’s graveyard. Eventually he was caught and imprisoned in Udon, but despite being fed nothing but poisonous fish, he carried the will to live on, and eventually helped Luffy and his friends defeat the Beast Pirates.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KAWAMATSU!!!

Actually meant like mythical creatures, but that works too (same anon from before)
Oh well let me just bust that out! Sorry i misinterpreted it!
In most of my creature aus, the Nijimuras are kappas! Though don’t expect the sumo trick to work - they don’t play fair.
If not kappa, I have a very specific combo in mind based on a joke of a monster high thing on a server - mom’s a zombie and dad’s a fishman. So we’ve got a gruesome twosome of undead fish bros.
If I had to move the bros away from more aquatic folklore, I’d say that they’d play it pretty well as fairies.
Fellas is it gay to let your hommie take your name?
Fellas please.

Hello there! How are you? Love your page and fics! 💚 So, here's a prompt: Zoro and Nami end up drinking alone (During Wano), and realising how much they've missed these moments alone, and maybe show a little how they care about each other? ;)
LITTLE BITS AND PIECES OF HEAVEN
CALM BEFORE THE STORM
One-shot #: 14
Disclaimer: One Piece (and its characters) belongs to Eiichiro Oda-sensei.
Reminder: I have no beta-reader. Any grammatical and spelling errors are solely mine.
Warning: OOC possible. One shot.
Rating: T (Light fluff)
Note: To be honest, this one-shot just won’t cooperate. I have drafts after drafts. I’ve re-written multiple times and finally, it let itself be written. To anon who requested this, I'm really glad you love my page and fics! And sorry for the long wait! Enjoy.
Summary: The swordsman and the navigator share a calm-before-the-storm moment.
“Please don’t tell me that you are actually drunk?”
Zoro reluctantly opened his eye and wasn’t at all surprised to see Nami looming over him as he leaned against a random tree trunk, about to lose himself into his much needed nap. With a hand on her waist and hips cocked to the side, she stared at him with one eyebrow raised.
“And what if I am?”
She pursed her lips at his answer. “Tch. That’s just disappointing Zoro.”
The swordsman snorted. “You’d like that wouldn’t you?” He drawled sarcastically, cocking his own eyebrow at her. Like he would get drunk with the measly amount of sake they all had during dinner.
A cheeky grin appeared on Nami’s face. “Well if that finally settles who’s the real heavy drinker between us… then yeah.”
Zoro huffed before closing his eye again; intent on ignoring Nami and just sleeping off his discontentment with the inadequate drink earlier.
He felt her settle beside him before a hard object was suddenly rammed into his abdomen, momentarily cutting of his air and prompting him to let out an undignified ‘ooofh’.
“What the hell Nami!?” He shouted, gritting his teeth and glaring daggers at her.
The navigator’s eyes crinkled with mirth at his reaction. He drew back a little, a bit surprised to find himself almost face to face with her.
“Provisions,” she answered nonchalantly, prodding his middle with the object she was holding in a rather forceful manner.
Zoro looked down, surprised that the thing she was shoving at him was a sake gourd.
“Sanji-kun made sure you have enough sake to keep you in tip-top fighting condition.”
“Ero-cook?”
“Ain’t that sweet of him?”
The green-haired man scoffed. “You think I’d believe that swirly cares about my needs?”
Nami rolled her eyes at his response. “Whether you believe it or not, the important thing is you have enough alcohol to stuff down that throat of yours and knock yourself out cold.”
“Oh really? And to what do I owe this honor?”
“Who to be more specific,” she corrected. “Well aside from Sanji-kun… me of course! That’s roughly a hundred thousand belis on your tab.”
“…”
“Come on, who do you think convinced him to get all that meat and alcohol huh?“
Zoro smirked at her. "Knew that aho cook doesn’t give a damn about what I want.”
The navigator narrowed her eyes at him. “Hmmm? And you are saying that I do?”
“You got me the alcohol witch.”
“Touché.”
“You shouldn’t have bothered."
The mapmaker regarded him disbelievingly for a moment. "Oh you don’t want it?” She moved to withdraw her hand but Zoro was faster. He closed his own around her wrist, stopping her.
“I never said I didn’t want it.”
They stared at each other for a few seconds before Nami let out a ‘hmph’ and pulled her hand away from his grip.
Well… tried to pull away to be exact.
She frowned at him. “Zoro!”
His other hand moved to snatch the sake away from her.
Her lips curled into a smile. “And here you got me thinking that you don’t want it. Too bad… I would drink it myself.”
The swordsman huffed. “You don’t even like sake.”
“Hmm… not quite true,” Nami tapped a finger on her cheek. “I have preferences. But beggars can’t be choosers right? Alcohol is still alcohol.” She swiftly filched the sake gourd from his grip and winked at him while uncorking it.
His lone eye widened as she brought it to her lips and drank the potent liquid as if it was just water.
“Oi!”
“Aah! That was nice!” She remarked, licking her lips and grinning mischievously as she handed the sake back to him.
Zoro was looking sullen as he shook the container, trying to gauge the amount the cat thief had drank, knowing she can guzzle it all until the last drop without keeling over.
That’s actually one of the reasons why the navigator is secretly his favorite drinking buddy.
“What’s with that expression Zoro?” Nami pouted at him. “I saved some for you.”
The former pirate hunter just shrugged as he flicked a glance at her before returning his attention back to the gourd.
“Problem?” Nami shifted closer to him, peering at his face. “I don’t have cooties Zoro!” She growled at him when she realized his hesitation. “The nerve! I didn’t know you are this finicky!”
“I am not!” Zoro snarled at her.
“Could it be…” Nami drew back a little with a gasp. “You’re thinking that it’s kinda like an indirect kiss?”
“The hell Nami!!!”
“Oh Zoro, you’re making me blush,” she cupped both of her cheeks with her hands in an attempt to look like an embarrassed, bashful maiden.
“Teme…”
“Why… you’re blushing as well Zoro!” She teasingly pointed out.
“Shut up Nami! Don’t you go pulling that crap on me now,” Zoro groused. “How many times have we drunk in the same bottle huh?”
Nami suddenly dropped her teasing facade. “Too few since we arrived here in the New World,” she replied with a smile that didn’t reach her eyes.
It made him pause when she unexpectedly turned a bit serious at his question. “You’re counting.”
The mapmaker shrugged her shoulders. “Not hard to remember since we haven’t been drinking together a lot.”
Silence enveloped them at her answer. True it had been a long time since they have sat down together to drink. It’s not like they have a choice. From the moment they sailed into the New World seas, the crew had spent more time separated than together.
“When was the last time we did this Nami?” Zoro inquired after finally taking a drink of the sake he was holding.
“Fishman Island,” Nami responded, the wistful smile never leaving her face. “Before Usopp crashed our two-man party from too much eating.”
“Heh,” the memory made him grin. “Before Chopper appeared dragging that ero-kappa who nearly fainted from ogling at the mermaids too much.“
"Yes. Before you decide to just sleep on me since we’ve got company.” Nami added, taking the sake gourd from him as he wiped his mouth with the sleeve of his white yukata.
“That seems long ago, huh?"
Nami nodded. “Yup. We weren’t able drink together when we were in Zou.”
“That’s because you were too busy worrying about that stupid cook.” The swordsman grumbled.
“Be nice Zoro. He’s your crew mate too.” Nami drank, letting the sake’s taste fill her mouth.
“Pffft.”
She threw the gourd lightly towards Zoro who caught in effortlessly. He scrutinized the sake container in his hand, coming to a conclusion that it wouldn’t last long. Not when he and Nami are the ones drinking it.
"So, are you ready for the upcoming battle?” Nami asked out of the blue. “It’s just in a few days…”
Zoro paused midway to bringing the container to his lips. "I’m always ready for battle Nami. I’m a swordsman.”
“Aren’t you nervous?”
An arrogant smirk appeared on his face. “As if.”
She laughed despite herself. “What a stupid thing to ask…”
“Yeah.”
“Hmmm… This is a disaster. Yonko after yonko.”
“Can’t help it. We will eventually face them one way or another.”
“But not like one after the other.” Nami complained with a pout. She grabbed the sake from Zoro again after he finished drinking. “We just faced off with Big Mom now here we are about to face Kaido.”
The green-haired man just grunted something inaudible as she gulped down a mouthful of sake. He watched her in the corner of his eye with concealed admiration. A flush had found its way to her cheeks but he knows that she was still far from inebriation.
She made a smacking sound with her lips after drinking and he motioned to her to hand him the sake gourd.
Nami shifted closer to him as she complied. “Are you really ready?” She queried again, looking at him curiously. “You just got this new sword and you only have a few days to get used to it.”
She knows how Zoro takes pride in mastering his katanas.  But with only a short time left until the battle….
The former pirate hunter tilted his head towards her, meeting her gaze at her with one serious gray eye.
“It’s more powerful than your last one,” Nami continued. “And kinda frightening.” She glanced at the black sword he just recently acquired and recalled how he managed to cut off a rather large part of the land with just one swing as it sucked the haki from him.
“Why? Worried?”
Nami’s head snapped up towards him at that. She felt her face turned a deeper shade of red as he voiced out what she was hoping wouldn’t be obvious.
“Like hell am!” She scowled at him, trying to cover up her embarrassment.
Zoro was looking amusedly at her as she folded her arms across her chest and looked away.
“You don’t believe in me Nami?”
That made her stop. She worried her lower lip and forced herself to look at him straight in the eye. “Of course I do,” she admitted albeit glumly.
“Then there’s nothing to worry about, right?”
Nami studied his face as he held her gaze. Zoro is so strong—a fact that she should not forget. It was just probably the pre-battle jitters getting to her.
She glanced at his swords again. Three katanas that helped made him formidable. Her eyes lingered at the black one, Enma, the replacement of the one he got from Thriller Bark.
Hitetsu had said something about how a normal swordsman would’ve turned into a dry husk from using it. Zoro merely got his arm sucked dry before reclaiming his haki back from the sword. A feat that left most of their allies impressed.
“I keep forgetting how much of a monster you are and it would take a lot to defeat you.” Nami said with a sigh, leaning back against the tree.
“You sound disappointed,” Zoro said with a laugh. He scrutinized her for a moment before nudging her with his shoulder as he handed her the sake back. “Thanks I guess.” He spoke softly, clearly understanding what was going on inside her head.
Nami puffed her cheeks at him. “I’m not really worried about you!” She retorted, taking a hefty swig of the sake, to cover up her mortification. Zoro had just read right through her.
Zoro raised an eyebrow at her and chuckled. “Don’t choke on it witch.”
She glowered at the Supernova after she finished drinking. “I’m actually more worried about me!” The navigator declared in a feisty manner.
“That’s so typically you.”
“Of course! I’m not made for battle! Not everyone in the crew’s formidable you know.”
“But eventually you’ll see it through if need be.”
“How sure are you?”
Zoro shrugged. “You wouldn’t be here with us if that’s not the case.”
Nami stared at him. Stared for a long time that Zoro began to feel uneasy under her gaze and felt a warm sensation creeping from his neck to his face.
“Sometimes you are not so bad Zoro,” she whispered with a genial smile.
He scoffed, trying to hide his now blushing face by grabbing the sake from her and chugging down the liquid.
This time they silently drank; passing the container back and forth as the wind blew and rocked the bamboo trees around them. The soft rustling of its leaves and the rattling sound emanating from the stalks was amazingly soothing as they both enjoyed this rare and—unknown to each other—much-anticipated time together.
Nami noticed his relaxed expression and the way the corner of his lips were quirked up.
“You are smiling,” she observed when she passed him the sake again.
“Can i not?”
“Means you’re enjoying this.”
Zoro just chuckled at her. But did not elaborate.
Of course he enjoys drinking with her. She’s the only one in their crew who can keep up with him after all.
But what he likes most about drinking with her is when they get to share some quiet instances when they are just alone with each other without fighting, without getting in each other’s nerves.
They are just together to simply enjoy each other’s presence.
And truth be told… it just sink into him tonight just how much he actually missed these kind of moments with her.
“Are you not enjoying it too?” He casually asked, but realized from the smile adorning her pretty face that she was thinking and feeling the same thing as him.
“I honestly like drinking with you,” Nami admitted, even though she did not answer his question. “We almost never do it anymore.”
“You missed it?”
She grinned. “Didn’t realize how much until now. How about you? You didn’t?”
Zoro smiled. Not his typical downright irritating smirk. But a genuine, happy smile.
“What?”
“Wouldn’t have shared this sake with you if not.”
This time her smile reached her eyes, as her warm, brown orbs gleamed enchantingly with delight.
He shook the sake container, showing her that the drink they were sharing was nearly gone.
Nami laughed softly. “What do you say to catching up?”
The smile on Zoro’s face widened. “I say yes.”
They looked at each other.
“I just hope shitty cook’s provisions can last long.” Zoro said as he drank the remaining contents of the alcohol, shaking it a bit to make sure not a single drop was left.
“Of course,” Nami said confidently. “I made sure of that.” She threw a mischievous smile at him. “Are you up for pilfering the stocks?”
“Right under aho cook’s nose?" Zoro’s grin was shark-like. "Definitely."
She laughed as Zoro stood up. And he surprised her by offering his hand to help her to stand.
"Come on. Let’s get our drinks and continue this Nami.”
“Better do something fun first… in case we die on the raid or something.” Nami said cheekily as she took his hand and let him pull her up.
“I’m not planning on dying in the upcoming battle witch!”
“Good.”
“Besides I want to look for that Touji’s sake, said to be the finest here in Wano,” Zoro grinned at her. “I’ll find it then we can drink it ‘til one of us keels over.”
“And see who can really outlast each other!” Nami agreed. She squeezed his hand. “I’ll take you up on that.”
“It’s a promise.”
Nami smiled radiantly at that. He never breaks his promises.
She was about to take a step away from him when he stopped her.
“’Til then don’t you go dying evil witch,” Zoro murmured, shifting closer to kiss her forehead.
Nami closed her eyes, reveling at the sensation as he let his lips linger longer against her.
“Right back at you,” she whispered when he pulled away. “You still owe me that sake.”
He laughed. It was something to look forward to once everything is over.
“Yakosoku.”

So Kiku’s getting quite a lot of attention since the new chapter came out, and honestly good for her. She deserves it. But this post isn’t going to be about her, mainly because of all of the attention she’s getting.
I think the person who was finally introduced deserves at least a mention. So I guess I’ll talk a bit about him.
Tumblr media
The cage that was holding him in was broken by Big Mom in previous chapters, but he has yet to emerge. He’s still cuffed up in the cell.
Tumblr media
It’s hard to say if these are just regular handcuffs or sea stone handcuffs. To which I’m extremely interested in knowing if this guy’s a devil fruit user or not. I would also like to know if smile fruits have the same reaction to sea stone as devil fruits. (If this has already been shown I don’t remember it) The comment one of the jailers gives him is very rude, but also makes you question what he is or if the jailers don’t see him as an individual anymore.
Tumblr media
Still unable to see his face, he yet again attacks the jailers using fish bones, allowing Raizo to return his sword and give him the key to his cuffs.
Tumblr media
With Raizo giving over the key to the cuffs, one of The Red Scabbard’s is free and able to join the cause. We finally start to see what this guy looks like, through a panel of him grabbing the key. And from the looks of it, he’s a fishman!
Tumblr media
He’s free and about to murder all of the jailers in the prison. And more of his appearance is shown through outlines. Also I like the fact that he out right said the name of his sword, we don’t see that much.
Tumblr media
To me the statement on the right just furthers the fact he’s a fishman. But it’s interesting to me that his sword style is named after a monster until this panel…
Tumblr media
You find out that he, himself is a kappa. And with Kawamatsu’s entire reveal, I’ve gained a lot more questions. Such as the smile fruit vs sea stone as mentioned earlier and a whole lot of other questions, like ‘Is Kawamatsu a devil fruit user/smile fruit user and this is the outcome?’, ‘Will Jinbei be okay without disguising himself when he gets to the country?’, and ‘Is Kawamatsu the only fishman on the island?’.
There’s for sure more questions I have, but they’re not coming to mind right now.

Awesome Kappa Design!!
Tumblr media
Absinthe (bright eyed): This place can’t get any cooler.
Mun: I know right. I also like how they made him a sumo wrestler, due to the fact that Kappa are associated with being good at that. I do wonder if they will give him a love for cucumbers. Or if he’s a Fishman that just looks like a Kappa. That would be cool.

La Verdadera Raza de King
Tumblr media

Misc headcanons for Directator's assistant director yokai sidekicks!
* I think the Nosirs are actually brothers but for these guys i think theyre just a bunch of unrelated employees who share a uniform. Maybe draw them with variations in height and weight and stuff to tell them apart? And they probably have different hair under the hats.
* this yokai species is a water element fishman thing possibly based on The Shadow Over Innsmouth. Cos ive been doing a lot of thinking on why the heck they have those weird face markings and with the bulgy eyes they kinda do match the description of the early stage Deep Ones in that story. Either that or theyre kappas who hide their weak spot under caps. (Cappas?)
* their only power as yokai is super strength. They probably surprise people a lot by being so powerful, cos they never really bother to fight unless their boss is in trouble. Its mostly just an 'ultimate assistant' power that helps them carry lots of stuff for maximum efficiency.
* theres probably variants of this yokai for every type of minor job ever. I feel like its just the thing you turn into when youre a very normal dude who just wants to continue your normal job in the underworld. This trio are 100% content working for Directator and their idea of a peaceful afterlife is just the same as their regular life! No aspirations for bigger superpowers or anything, just gimme that magic ability to be even better at the job i love~
* not sure about names for the trio yet except one of them should be jerome cos thats a nice name. Their origin story is just that theyre unrelated employees who worked under Directator when he was human, and sorta bonded together into The Directator Protection Club. They were his most loyal assistants who stayed with him even as the studio made flop after flop, and even followed him into hell in the end. (Died trying to save him from a studio fire) They were all kind of aimless young adults for one reason or another, who didnt have much good in their life aside from this job and didnt have any positive familial figures except this strange little family they found together. So theyre not blood related but they treat each other like siblings and see Directator as a cool uncle figure that they all look up to. And theyre all roommates together now in the yokai world so basically yeah they got adopted in all senses except the Actually Saying It Out Loud sense
* Aside from their general shared personality of Being Cute And Enthusiastic And Supporting Their Boss i feel like maybe there are some small differences you notice after a while? From the titanic episode it seemed like one of them was kinda dopey innocently hero worshipping the boss and one of them was a sassy trickster who loved a chance to mess with the heroes, just based on the different way they animated them obeying the order to toss the heroes off the bungee jump. And one of them was shown dressing as a lady waitress in one of the scenes in the first episode, so im gonna grab that opportunity and say she's a trans girl. They all dress very similar while on the job just cos its practical clothing for work, but you can tell her apart by a small ponytail at the back of their identical hairstyles. (Probably the cute flame ponytail style like ghoulfather!) Off duty she likes to dress a bit more femme, but her bros still support her as a woman no matter how she dresses. The only way to get these perpetually smiling doofuses to start a fight is to mix them up and misgender her! (Well, that or be mean to the boss also. Theyre just very ride or die for each other!)
* There actually are more of these yokai aside from the main three, Directator has picked up a few more employees over the years since he died. He can probably summon infinate hordes of them like ghoulfather can do with his mafia goons! Its just that these three have the main emotional bond with him so he trusts them to do all the most important jobs.
* they have an ultimate transformation that is just them on each other's shoulders in a trenchcoat. Their acting skill is so good that everyone universally believes this is a new form and they even gain boosted stats!
* in battle maybe their ability would be some sort of adaptability thing to reflect how theyre such multitalented helpers? Like 'all attacks are treated as non elemental' or 'changes elements to match the last hit taken'?
* also probably in battle theyd have combo abilities with directator, like he's able to revive them automatically whenever he gets a critical hit or something. I feel like them having low hp and frequently knocking themselves out in the process of protecting him is very in character
* directator remembers all their birthdays and throws a super theatrical big ol party~! They also celebrate the day each of them got hired and the day they made their first successful film in the yokai world, and then every time they have a new success too. Basically they love excuses to show how much they care for each other! Best buddies cinema club 4ever!!!
* Even though Directator can now poof up illusions of any set and costumes using his powers, he still prefers to let the assistants make all the most important critical stuff for each movie. He just feels sad that his newfound powers would be taking away a fun bonding experience that they used to have. But also obviously working your ass off to make everything on a short deadline ruins the fun of making arts and crafts together, so he's grateful he can take some of the work off their shoulders.
* the shape of directator's powers as a yokai came from not from his egotism but from his dying wish being to ease the burden on his employees who were always so loyal to him. He also likes to use his illusions to help them out with stuff even when theyre not working, though he still has to say lights camera action and etc so its a lil funny. Like 'oh no assistant number 3 is going out on a date and her dress is ruined!' then he runs in with one of those clapboard things and is like CUT! TAKE TWO! *poofs up an illusion dress with a star wipe transition* Keeps pausing the scene and telling her boyfriend to show more emotion, lol. Like overprotective dad cliche but its more 'are you hammy enough to be worthy of my niece?? Show me your best death scene!' Also has an entire orchestra follow them around and do a soundtrack to their date. 'Darling it'll be a sensation! Directator's secret masterpiece: the film only you get to see! Cmon boys this is our most important production yet!' Very well intentioned but predictably he ends up ruining the date by trying so hard to make it perfect for her, and she's like 'aww dont worry boss, if that guy cant handle my family then he's not the right dude for me anyway' *hugs and end of episode* *but also yknow..he still learns his lesson and interferes less in his friends's lives next time*
* maybe two of the trio have the same names? Like "here's my supreme team: Ashley A, Ashley B and Jerome!"
* give them a special attack where they just three hit combo Directator with a big ol wholesome hug of admiration and all his stats go up. 'Boss you really brightened up our lives!' 'And our afterlife!'

One Piece Birthdays: Honorable Mentions
One Piece has hundreds of characters, and over the past year I’ve celebrated the birthdays of only about a few hundred or so of them. So I’d like to take the time to mention every One Piece character without a birthday. Some don’t have birthdays because they’ve debuted too recently, some have no birthdays because they have been forgotten. Some have no birthdays because we haven’t gotten to that yet, even though they’ve existed for a long time and we remember them. To start off with, I will mention every character that exists within the canon that have names. Some you’ll remember. Some you won’t recognize, but if I showed you a picture of them you’d be like “Oh yeah that guy”. And then some of them you won’t have any recollection of, and I can’t blame you for it. Today, we will honor your memories, and hope that one day, Eiichiro Oda gives you a birthday.

I used the names that they are given on the wiki, as opposed to their Official English names, if they even have one. I did this so that you can simply search their names on the One Piece Wiki and learn about them, if any interest you. However, a couple of them are so obscure that they don’t even have their own pages, in which case you will only be able to fine them here.
Next we will honor all non-canon characters. These characters appeared in filler, movies, specials, OVAs, one-shots, video games, or any other material that was officially made but not part of the manga. These characters are gaurunteed to never get a birthday, and that is a curse they bear. Now some non-canon characters, such as Gion and Tokikake, debut in non-canon and then later appear in canon, making them canon characters, and thus giving them a chance to have a birthday. However, this is such a rare case, that I wouldn’t count on it, especially for non-canon characters that debuted years ago.

Lastly, I want to honor all characters, canon and non-canon, with no names. The majority of these characters are just extras that only appeared in one panel or shot. But there’s a couple that are actually memorable, such as that one guy that was in Spandine’s group, or the masked CP-0 members. Some of these people can actually get names eventually. For example, Don Quixote Mjosgard was a nameless character for the longest time, until in the Reverie he became important and was given a name. I cannot list these nameless characters, as they have no names, but I do still want to honor them, and hope that one day they will be given names and have birthdays.
