I’ve watched (OG) Naruto 3 times. I’ve watched Naruto Shippuden 4 times. I’ve been watching it since 2014. I’m still not getting the whole Kakashi x Iruka ship.

Honestly, I don’t see it. I just don’t. They’ve hardly interacted. Kakashi was never even into him. He showed zero attraction towards him.

I mean, let me give you my opinions on Kakashibowl ships.

Kakashi x Itachi? I ship it and I can see it. Because, they were both in the ANBU and were partners. They got along well and Kakashi even stopped some fellow ANBU from bullying Itachi. He also seemed to have taken a liking to Itachi. He was even sad when the Uchiha massacre happened. He asked himself if Itachi was always that dark and if he just hadn’t seen it.

Kakashi x Might Guy? I definitely see it. I don’t ship it. But, this ship is definitely real.

Kakashi x Minato? I LOVE this ship! It’s my 3rd favorite Kakashi ship. I mean, many people might say they were more like Father and Son. But, Kakashi NEVER thought of Minato as his Dad. Minato was his sensei, idol, God, crush. In Naruto Shippuden he kept on thinking about Minato half the show. He said, talked, thought about Minato so many times that he’d come close to rivaling Naruto’s obsession with Sasuke. It had been over 16 years and his infatuation with Minato had not diminished in the slightest. He even mistook Naruto for Minato during the war.

Kakashi x Naruto? I USED to ship them before watching Naruto Shippuden. I mean, I can clearly see the ship. But, I prefer Kakashi x Minato so much more. And I don’t think I can go back to shipping KakaNaru when I know that Kakashi x Minato came first. So, I do see the ship. I just don’t ship it.

Kakashi x Obito? This is my 2nd favorite Kakashi ship. It’s practically canon!!! No need to explain why it’s practically canon. Y’all can just watch their episodes in Naruto Shippuden.

Kakashi x Sasuke? I’ve always had mixed feelings about this one. Personally, I think it feels more like a Father/Son relationship. And in Shippuden it just feels like all Sasuke feels for Kakashi is hatred and nothing else. So I don’t actually see this as a ship.

Kakashi x Yamato? OH MY GOSH! My favorite Kakashi ship! Words can’t describe how much I love it. This ship even had it’s own filler arc. Which reminded me so much of Romeo & Juliet. I mean, it’s thanks to this arc that I can never hate Danzō. Not even after what he did to my favorite Uchiha (Shisui). Danzō rescued Yamato and actually took care of him as if he were his own son. Yup. Danzō was actually nice and caring with Kid Kinoe (Yamato). He also reminded me of Juliet’s Dad when he had found out that Juliet slept with Romeo. When Danzō found out that his baby boy had fallen for Kakashi. Well, he didn’t take it very well. He tried everything to keep his precious "son" away from Kakashi. He even went as far as trying to erase his memory or brainwash him. I don’t know what he was going to do. But, it involved a tied up Yamato to a chair and Danzō using some sort of head device. But, Kakashi barged in with Lord Third in tow and rescued his Juliet just in time.

For Pete’s sake! Even Asuma x Kakashi and Zabusa x Kakashi have more chemistry than Kakashi x Iruka.

KakaIta Kakashi x Itachi. The encounters between Kakashi and Itachi were few but the emotions they left behind were always very intense. A bond that failed to materialize caught between the contrast of the reasons of the heart and what is right. Although convinced that his affection is not reciprocated, Kakashi knows very well that feelings cannot arise or disappear on command. Is this really the case or has it been misled?
