it's a bit unconventional, going to a bookstore and picking out a book for a complete stranger for a date, but it's one that jyot is excited about. it's one of those unique first impressions kind of things. it'll be interesting, she thinks.

she tries her hardest not to peek at the sections that hartley is going through, or the pile of books she has as her maybes. and it's only once they've bought both of their books that jyotsna excitedly bounces, already holding the book she chose for hartley out toward her. "When do you plan to take care of this mess?"

"Show some respect, that's my gorgeous mane."

"Well it used to be gorgeous till you started living like a caveman."

This to and from between you and your husband continued for a few minutes till Madara finally gave in to your words.

"Alright, I'm gonna do something about it."

"No you're not."

"What do you want from me woman?!"

"Can you listen quietly for a minute? I'm saying that let me do it for you."

Madara seemed to ponder upon your offer for a bit. To anyone else, it would seem like he was considering the proposal of a peace treaty between two nations with utmost seriousness but no, it was his hair he was thinking hard about.

"Fine."

You let out an excited squeal cause it's not everyday that the Madara Uchiha let's someone touch his hair. You rummage through his room to find a comb and then procure some hair oil, heating it slightly in a cup, and then go into your backyard to find Madara already seated and waiting for you.

"Took you long enough."

"Not a word from you caveman. I had to scrabble around in that mess of a room to find a single comb."

Madara laughed and then beckoned you to sit on his lap. You obliged and started sectioning his hair to comb it out but his coarse hair strands made it impossible so you switched to massaging the oil into his scalp. He groaned softly at your attentions and relaxed his shoulders.

"Does it feel good?"

"Hmm."

You slowly comb out the now soft hair, careful not to pull or tug. You looked at his face, so eased. The golden of the setting sun perfectly complimenting his toned chest and abs. He looked beautiful and you couldn't help but feel bashful.

Madara thoroughly enjoyed the way you took care of him when he himself couldn't do so. He could not express how much he appreciated your presence. He was grateful of being so close to you, of being able to let his guard down in your embrace. You meant everything to him.

"Can I braid your hair?"

The question took him aback. Were you serious? He, Madara Uchiha, the founder of the village hidden in the leaves, the Uchiha clanhead, Hashirama’s rival, donning a pretty little braid. No way. It's a ridiculous idea. But...but...the way you looked at him, all doe-eyed and pleading. He couldn't find it in him to say no. Somehow, you always found a way into his heart without even realizing. So he let you do as you pleased, enjoying being the sole object of your attention.

'Pretty' felt sorely inadequate in describing his true beauty, his now smooth mane braided neatly made him look like some deity disguised as a human. You couldn't help the blush creeping up your cheeks.

A man as cunning as Madara,l obviously noticed your gaze and the pink tinge on your supple cheeks, highlighted by the dusky hues of the remnants of sunlight. He reached for you and placed a soft, innocent kiss on your lips. You could feel the emotion in his actions right at your core. You gave in to his touches as his hands traveled over any exposed skin he could find.

The neat braid was long forgotten as he laid on the lush grass and you straddled him under the starry sky, the two of you merged into one.

I won’t lie, Sara is one of those characters that I was excited to develop, and I love every scene with her. It somehow feels light and right, which is why I especially love it.

Sara is the very embodiment of all those qualities of the Basu family that we read about in KCD. She is immensely beautiful, as they often say about her, has bright gray eyes (which has a connection with Mahakali, we remember Ram’s eye and a reference to the same Basu). And even in her soft, at first glance, character, you can catch notes of hidden madness lurking inside, like in Pandora’s box.

It seems to me that the artist perfectly considered the vibe of the model Juliana Hertz, this wild, dangerous, sexy beauty that you are afraid to approach. A tenacious gaze, a smirk full of self-confidence. Well, really... she🥺

On the one hand, a strict and dominant mother, on the other hand, a sister who is preparing to replace her, but who is full of anxiety from this responsibility. We see that the family character is more Saraswati's than Radha's, but the roles are defined and Sara learns to live with her ambitions and her position. Having adjusted to the situation, the girl seems very flexible and gentle, which is also often mentioned by the men of the dozen. But rumors about the fate of those who somehow crossed Saraswati’s path are beginning to outweigh the first impression...

Sara has a special relationship with Devi - the beloved and only daughter in the Sharma family, spoiled by the kindness of her brother and father, could afford to betray a variety of stupidities, and with her disobedience the Basu twins really liked her even in childhood. When three young rakshasis were united in friendship, the members of the dozen made fun of them and predicted that they would make a lot more noise in the future...

By the way, an interesting detail. I once read a theory that some human characteristics are passed on THROUGH generations. That is, for example: a cool talented actor, but his children will be good at something else, but his talent will manifest itself in his grandchildren.

Here everything is very clear and, probably, expected. The recipe is simple: classic cold beauty (playing on contrasts: fair skin, charcoal hair, bright eyes), which I softened a little with facial features. Christian's gaze is not prickly, like that of the prototype actor, but there is a sense of confidence and calm in him, without malice. The Lord does not push unnecessarily, he is respectful with everyone without exception.

Despite the fact that he speaks openly and directly about all his desires, de Clare creates the impression of a cunning and intelligent person who also pursues other, unspokengoals.

This can be read in his restrained facial expressions and manner of speech, in the tenacious and attentive gaze with which he looks at his interlocutor, studying him. Christian doesn’t need to do anything to make people listen to him - in his (often in any) environment he is an undisputed leader. And he achieved his respect far from brute force.

We don’t know much about the character yet, this post will need to be supplemented later, like, for example, the post about Set, due to the spoiler content of the information... but I will add that scenes with him are also written with special pleasure, although it often happens that they have to be rewrite - Christian is kind of uncharted territory for me, a new archetype that I haven't had to work with yet. That's why it's interesting to be with him.

this is all new to jyotsna. not just the dating, but being out in the real world, meeting people who aren't from her little community. people who don't know about magic, don't know about the otherworldly pieces of the universe. she's like a child in a candy shop, unsure of what to try first.

a cute little blind date thing seems a good place to start as any.

she waits patiently, nervously fiddling with her silverware. it's not a terribly fancy restaurant, but still somewhere up there. as she glances toward the door again, she sees a face come in that matches the one she'd been sent. all too eager, she stands up, awkwardly waves at the woman — rosie, that's her name.

"hi!" she says, as rosie approaches. she goes in for a hug, decides maybe that's not a great way to greet a stranger, and sort of just sticks her hand out between them. "i'm jyotsna! or jyot, whichever works."

"I think it's pretty neat, actually. There was someone in my community who was able to do that. She traveled with a circus type thing for awhile, and would perform tricks on the street for tourists."
