#just striga and morana being cute

Note
I have a request could you do the Castlevania cast reaction to there s/o being a barbarian like there 8 feet tall and very strong but has a very kind heart and is very protective of them.
Awww!!
Trevor/Sypha/Alucard/Greta - blushing, staring, gods you’re so tall?? Just a kiss??? But so sweet and cute?? The kids like you??
Dracula - you two are the perfect height for kisses! And your kind nature easily seizes his heart!
Isaac - your kind nature is refreshing as he has a new perspective on life, and the tall build wards of those who try to seek trouble
Hector - he feels protected and utterly fails at hiding his blush when you call him sweet nicknames
Carmilla & Styria - Carmilla feels genuinely touched for the first time, thinking she’s found the ideal lover. Striga has someone for sparring, and Lenore and Morana appreciate your softer nature
Godbrand - look me in the eyes and tell me this Viking wouldn’t appreciate a tall buff woman because he would!!

ooh, are we making fun of NFCV again? i wanna add to the pile re: how all the so-called "diversity" and "representation" it gets praised for goes overwhelmingly, if not entirely to the bad guys - and half of them don't even have a speaking role or even names, or at least we don't learn about them anywhere else besides the supplementary material, like in the case of drac's vampire generals (except godbrand, of course). even the two PoC good guys i can think of, zamfir and greta, aren't that great considering zamfir is portrayed as hopelessly and delusionally devoted to the deceased targoviste royalty, to the point of forsaking the wellbeing of both the underground and aboveground survivors, and then dies anyway in service of that delusion. and greta's just a last-minute newcomer to allegedly address grant's conspicuous absence that fans were complaining about from the start.
We never stop making fun of NFCV lol, there's always something new to point out 🥰
I can see how fans would respond to this that representation doesn't need to be relegated to heroes only, and you can have minority villains as long as they're not stereotyped. But yeah, the representation in NFCV is shallow at best and offensive at worst.
Most Generals in Dracula's army don't have a speaking role. Cho, the Japanese vampire who goes down in less than a minute in S2, gets a flashback after she died, because storytelling.mp4, and even then she doesn't talk. I only remember Raman's name because Carmilla says something like "there are only 4 women in this castle" nope it's just 3 of them lmao
Sumi and Taka look identical despite not being related according to Word of God, which is hysterical to me because you know they said that to divert the accusations of incest. my pal. you really think your GoT-inspired show is above twin siblings having a threesome? Also, you know, they immediately jump to rape by deception without a hint that they'd do that through all season, and then their corpses get graphically mutilated and pissed on (contrast this with the white, most likely French Lenore who gets to flirt and be cute with her victim)
Isaac is gay! How do we know that? He "jokes" out of nowhere about kissing Hector, a guy he has zero respect for. This line has no follow-up and is OOC with how serious the character is always portrayed. And that's not counting his declaration of love made to his abusive master when he was a boy.
I don't know enough about Islam to have a solid opinion on how it was treated in Isaac's case, and in a vacuum having a "complex" Muslim anti-villain is more original than usual. But I don't like how his self-flagellating habit was first treated as a result of his traumatic past, then as a religious practice, then completely dropped. Using Mohammed's own words about Hell being emptied, which from what I've read mean that in Islam hell is transitory, and twisting them to justify his necromancy is... certainly a delicate choice, but again, he doesn't really reflect on this in S4, he just jumps to "wow I sure love having agency!"
Also, in retrospect, it would have been much better if Isaac hailed from the Emirate of Granada instead of being a slave, a backstory more befitting for N!Annette for her origins and time period. In his case, it would have been more original, and expanded the world a little more. What's that? He wouldn't have a reason to hate humankind? Then how come game!Isaac can do it just fine? :) You know, since he was persecuted (maybe even by the Spanish Inquisition!) for his cursed powers? :) maybe you can have more reasons to hate humans than "former slave"? maybe black people can be depicted as something different than slaves? :)
Striga and Morana are cute together, but are non-entities who begin and end with each other. Also, funny how Morana, the lesbian of color (triple minority!), is literally the most useless and wasted of the four :) and even then the most characterization she gets is "she loves to torture people". nice
Alucard was made bi by Word of God and I don't need to repeat how appalling it is. I hate that most "antis" have a problem with him being attracted to men in the first place, and not that the declaration was made to downplay his sexual assault.
(meanwhile Carmilla, inspired by the literal archetype of the lesbian vampire, to the point that you can even see her game version as being a lesbian thanks to Laura, gets reduced to joke that she'd only sleep with Godbrand if all the men, half of the women and some of the animals died. but hey, she's a radfem, I guess that's enough)
Apparently I have... controversial opinions on the choice of darkening Hector's skin and the ethnicity he is in this version. But I will say that there is something weird in deliberately giving him bronze skin, I suppose to emphasize his Greek heritage, and then spending two seasons literally dehumanizing him and lowering him to the level of a dog and pet.
Also something about the Speakers, nomadic people whose oral traditions get made fun of, by Sypha in particular who calls them idiots, is... hm. The wiki even points out: "They are also similar to the Jews (especially due to their reverence for knowledge and their tradition of oral history) and, to a lesser extent, to the Romani."
I skipped Zamfir's plotline because by S4 I had burnout, but yeah, Greta is probably the best character of color and even then she's little more than a generic badass woman with attitude. Also she's even more ambiguously brown than Hector, I would say on the same level as Casca from Berserk - you can tell she's not white, but she's not really anything else.
(btw no, she has no relation with Grant :) )
tl;dr: the only good representation in nfcv are the tunisi people isaac speaks to and this is why i do not trust them with black annette, and i hate the fucking discourse on twitter from people who just don't like the design change

Small things in season 3 I really liked
Sypha is a comically bad, hammy actor and I’m here for it
Trevor kicking the werewolf in the balls. He learned from episode one.
Fish chopping
Ice magic is stored in the feet
The road pirate!
Trevor knocked a guy out with his thumb and accidentally broke another man’s legs! If he hadn’t lost time being a drunken hobo he’d have leveled up enough to kill Dracula himself!
Saint Germain invented absinth
Sypha flying Azula-style
The serengeti mech
When the captain said “you are” he sounded like he was saying “yar” and that made me happy
Saint Germain’s special person has no revealed gender, which is interesting
DUAL WHIPPING!
All of the monster cameos from the games
Taka’s freckles. I know he’s a traitorous bastard, but before we knew that he was also very cute.
Striga and Morana sound like tired but proud parents when they discuss Carmilla’s schemes and it’s lovely
Morana’s sass
“Blood of a virgin. You DO love me!“
The hell goat shit rain thing
That background art tho
Drac and Lisa get their own circle of hell, right past the frozen lake of traitors. Romantic!
Alucard is bi! A named, main character is confirmed bisexual and they didn’t even pull a disney and brag about it! It’s great!
Trevor is so in love with Sypha. It’s just so very cute and heartwarming
Jesus is sypha-approved
toilet paper

Castlevania spoilers!!!! If you don’t want to know how the show ends in season 4 please refrain from reading the rest of this post because I’m not holding back! Also I’m writing this as I watched so, this is my raw review!
Okay, so first off I want to say personally, I loved how season 4 brought heat to the finale of the show. Although I’m sad as hell that this is the last season for a great show.
Episode 1: Murder Wakes It Up- I thought that it was cool to see Trevor and Sypha fighting again after what happened in S3, obviously they are tired from the long four week journey of fighting night creatures, skeleton zombies, vampires from different countries, etc. but clearly the end game is that humans and vampires alike are working together to bring back Dracula. Like seriously, y’all might not know this but I hate, HATE when children become involved in stupid shit like human sacrifices like I can’t. Not the children. Please, not the babies. Sypha complaining she’s becoming like Trevor, and she’s so cute when she curses lol. Then when they arrive in Targoviste we have some new faces as potential enemies. I thought they were lame honestly lol I couldn’t take Barney-Larney whatever his dumbass was; he was mad annoying.
Then they shift over to Alucard…I have never seen a more broken beautiful drunk man in all my life. Like I had S3 flashbacks. He’s asked for help from a messenger who ended up dying on the way to the castle but his horse made sure he continued the journey and Alucard received the message for help in Danesti. Alucard fights with the horse, I thought that was funny. He was thoughtful enough to bury the rider, that was very sweet of him.
Also, shirtless Alucard will be engraved in my mind for life. Whew, chile that’s one fine man. He’s beginning to talk like Belmont and I can’t help how hilarious that is.
Episode 2: Having the World: Quite honestly this episode to me was meh. Hector talking with Lenore about how he needs this and that to create his hammer to continue forgemastering then Lenore talks with Carmilla and the white haired bat talks about how she is going to rule the world and what not, clearly losing her sanity.
Then it shifts over to Trevor and Sypha and they are fighting in a barn and new character Zamfir. Her character for me was also meh, but it’s nice to see more PoC in the show.
Episode 3: Walk Away: I liked this episode a lot. Issac altogether was nice enough to sit down and talk with a night creature and tell him/them that they were free of their original program, which was: eating humans, causing destruction, used as tools to forge masters. But man when he received that berry from Issac he realized that there is still some kind of humanity in them.
Issac is contacted by Varney to bring back Dracula but, Issac wants no business with that; he doing his own thing and seeing him being sassy again is so refreshing.
Morana and Striga scenes!!! I loved them, and then there was Striga’s day armor, man listen…I have never felt more closer to watching Berserk again than in that moment. They are hesitant to return back to Styria when Carmilla calls them, and it puts them in a bind to return home to continue through with Carmilla’s plans.
Sypha being annoyed by Zamfir was me the entire time. How you gone run a kingdom again with out a kingdom. Like girl, help the people instead of the royals, my god.
Episode 4: You Must Sacrifice: A cute little Trevor and Sypha scene. They decide to investigate Targoviste more before helping Zamfir. The scene shifts and Alucard is riding towards Danesti, donning a shield and a longer cape. Monsters are attacking the walls of the village, villagers are on the other side waiting to defend themselves. Some Castlevania popular screenshots appear here.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Then we meet Greta…Miss thang…that’s one beautiful woman okay. And she’s the chief of the village, cares for her people? Y’all I present. Her. And the fact that she is sassy too? I rock with her heavy as hell.
Saint Germain meets Alucard and I have a weird vibe coming from him. We see Saint Germain’s backstory or what little it will show us; he had a whole girlfriend, she a baddie too. Apparently she was like him? And she was the silhouette we saw in S3. Cool scene, inside the Infinite Corridor and I liked the library scene a lot too. Now he’s on a rampage trying to find access to the Infinite Corridor again to find his girl and he also wants to bring back Dracula? The fuck?
Refugees arrive at Danesti, and Saint Germain is acting very strange indeed. Like he’s desperate to go to the castle to help with the village “defenses”. Alucard agrees I guess? And he says another Belmont comment which I was happy to see again in the season.
Episode 5: Back in the World: Alucard leads Greta, Saint Germain and the villagers to his castle but, encounter a couple of night creatures on the way. Greta does Saint Germain y’all and I’m with her 100%. Alucard’s powers have definitely improved from last season. It was kind of interesting how Alucard willing told Greta what happened with him and you know who, kind of early in my opinion. Greta is bisexual?!!!! I love her 1000% now! I sense some chemistry between Greta and Alucard. I like that a lot.
Lenore really like annoys my soul, I do not like this mini bitch. I didn’t really care what Lenore and Hector talked about🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️sue me. Bruh Greta, beating that monster’s ass with just a hammer and a sword?! And Alucard impressed by it?! I’m here for it!! Some cute moments between Alucard and Greta got me gushing over here😝😝. Poor puppy😢😢. Alucard decides to “grow up” which I think is a nice step forward. Saint Germain is really making me mad.
They arrive at the castle and here goes Saint Germain acting like a fan boy, I mean who wouldn’t but you know…Greta killed me when she said the castle was ugly as hell lol. Another little cutesy scene between Alucard and Greta. Like I really like their chemistry y’all I’m sorry.
Trevor and Sypha demand that Zamfir take responsibility to help the people and I forgot what it was called but, before that they are attacked and Zamfir has something placed on her neck by a night creature.
Then Issac, he’s ready to fuck some shit up. And I’m here for it. Get em, bitch!
Episode 6: You Don’t Deserve My Blood: Carmilla’s castle is attacked by Issac’s night creatures. Lenore old punk ass running away does not surprise me in the slightest. Hector betrays Lenore and locks her in a cage. Hector has contact with Saint Germain like what? I don’t understand but, Issac comes in and it looks like Hector has given up, wanting to die honestly. Issac decides against killing him and Hector asks for his knife. This boy cuts his ring finger that the Lenore placed the ring, in front of her. That scene was meh, I thought he would get pissed at her for what she’s done to him in S3 but, I guess not.
Issac literally stole this episode, from his fight with the vampires and night creatures to Carmilla that shit was -chef’s kiss- magnifico! I loved the animation the fight scenes, yooo I was hyped the whole episode.
Morana and Striga make their decision to go their own way, living their own lives in the west so, bittersweet ending with them, I wanted to actually Striga fight the main trio but, whatever I guess.
Hector still has plans to bring back Dracula and asks Issac if he’s doing the same. Issac has other plans obviously, and tells Hector that they need to find their path in their lives. I feel Hector never knew where he was supposed to be placed in the world but Issacs words are very inspiring in my opinion. May have woke Hector’s dumbass up a bit.
Episode 7: The Great Work: Varney and the other guy, I really forgot his name found out about the catacombs and head there. Trevor and Sypha demand Zamfir take them underground, which to me I think it’s nothing there but her shit. Sypha gets mad at Zamfir and I’m with her, how you part of the royal guard when the people above need your help girl my god.
The cutest scene ever in this episode, was when the kids from Danesti wanting to play with Alucard and this boy jumps off the highest part of the castle just to show off. There should be more scenes of soft Alucard with children. Saint Germain is placing these weird stones it looks like in the castle walls. What is going on with him?
More Alucard and Greta moments please and thank you. The artwork in the castle is fucking phenomenal work. Saint Germain just gave the location to a vampire it looks like, from episode 4 maybe? He looks familiar.
There is a freaking army coming to the castle…lord Jesus. Like can they catch a break please? The kids just got settled.
Trevor and Sypha go to the catacombs and it’s just as bad as the people above grounds. New weapon acquired for Trevor, pretty dope. The king and Queen are dead and Zamfir is officially insane. She really thinks that the king and Queen will come back alive and protect their people like she’s done them. Sypha tries to talk to her, that puts her in a weird daze, Trevor is just being Trevor. Varney and his lackey, come to the catacombs looking to kill I really do not know that man’s name y’all so I apologize for not giving a damn about him lol.
The castle is about to be under siege, I’m not ready. Having a whole heart attack over here from nerves.
Episode 8: Death Magic: Varney and his partner attack the people in the catacombs, Varney is looking for a giant mirror? Why I don’t know. Poor Trevor and Sypha they are soooo tired, I feel so bad for them. Zamfir is actually not bad of a fighter, I like that. Sypha still the goat, no cap.
The castle is under attack, it’s actually nice to see how diverse the vampires are in this show, you can tell what countries their from and I think that’s dope as hell. And then every time a human dies their souls are transferred to Saint Germaine? So is this another S3 human sacrifice crap again? Omg…I’m so sick of that. Saint Germain uses the key he received from the woman in the Infinite Corridor and it creates the symbol of the corridor’s portal.
Here goes Alucard being a badass again, I never tire of him being one. Greta holding it down too is really cool, I don’t care what nobody say, she is that bitch. Her and that hammer, a force to be reckoned with.
Everyone is overwhelmed and have no choice but to evacuate to the castle, right before those doors closed Alucard nods to her to leave him out to fight and she looks at him like boy bye. Get yo ass in this castle. Greta pulling Alucard in just shows they are compatible for one another. Even the playful banter between them is cute.
The discovery of the stones in the walls leads Greta and Alucard to his childhood bedroom and they find Saint Germain where he reveals he’s opening the Infinite Corridor to bring back Dracula by using death magic. Petty Saint Germain, I do not like him bro.
They have to deal with him later though to fight off the night creatures that got into the castle. Greta still holding it down.
Trevor and the vampire guy is still fighting but, Trevor being so tired he’s slowing a bit, and honestly I don’t know how he’s still able to function at this point. Sypha shows off her powers like a G that she is and Zamfir is doing some great damage with the knives she’s got and that’s crazy how little knives can do to the body.
Did Sypha always have lightning powers? I don’t remember. If it’s new I love it! Trevor’s almost killed but a woman and child save him in time but, unfortunately Zamfir is stabbed in the stomach when the vampire moves to kill them both. I’m going to be honest I didn’t really care for Zamfir’s character she was just…there lol.
Then that scene with Sypha basically incinerating the rest of the monsters is fire!!! No pun intended lol. Varney finds the mirror and steps through it where Saint Germain is. Trevor and Sypha goes through the mirror as well but in a different location in the castle.
Episode 9: The Endings: This whole episode was literally the best of the best in any other seasons. The fight scenes, the banter, the main three…oh my God I loved it all. Noooooo, the dolls!!!!!! You bastards!!!! Trevor and Sypha’s entrance was perfect. Muah! Perfecto! The rock monsters really confused me on how they were killed but you know what who cares?
Alucard has wings?!!!!! What?!!!!!!!!! The general of the caravan have brought in the man woman thingy to Saint Germain. Death has appeared. His character design is dope af. Noooo not mom and dad!!! Nooo! Poor Alucard had to witness his parents literally in pain and of course Trevor ends it again, somehow Saint Germain redeemed himself almost?
The four vampires fighting the main trio had me running for my money. I liked the whole scene it was nice to see at least one or two vampires almost have the upper hand on the main trio.
That general vampire? His fight was wild, throwing his arm as it was about to explode and use it against Trevor was genius. And main trio…they don’t need to have a plan to fight they just work so well together that it works out in end.
Trevor vs. Death. Also was that the first time Trevor told Sypha he loved her? I can’t remember. Anyway, back to the final battle. The quality of the fight, the sheer power between both characters, and then he goes and sacrificed himself like Trevor are you deadass? You deadass died? Unacceptable. And then episode just ends.
Episode 10: It’s Been a Strange Ride: Lenore died so lame, and she was drunk as well when she died. I really won’t be missing her because she was just a character I very much disliked. Hector is finally free, little dumbass.
I wanna see what Issac is up to and Morana and Striga seems appropriate. But oh well, I hope they are happy wherever they are.
Tombstone for Trevor, it’s not real. He ain’t dead, I don’t believe that. Omg, Greta and Alucard are together?!!! Whoooooo!!! And the village kids are calling him father? Yasssssssssssss!!!!! I’m here for it. Alucard saying he’s not used to people is 100% me in public I don’t like being around a lot of people and it doesn’t help I have anxiety either. Sypha being pregnant was a given she looked a little thicker in the hips from episode one. She can’t leave…we need her. Really Castlevania creators? Y’all gone play with all our hearts? Thinking Trevor was dead and he gone pop up on a horse?
And look at this⤵️⤵️
He’s smiling, happy, soft, has a boo thang I’m….😭😭😭I’m so happy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Y’all….all in all this was a great ending to the show…a great ending…
Oh wait…wait…wait wait wait, mom and dad are alive?!!! But how? You know what I don’t care their going to travel to England and their heart shaped embrace is everything. Oh no I’m crying again….

okay i’m 4 eps into castlevania season 4 and here’s my thoughts so far:
i feel like you could’ve cut half the fights in ep 1 but sypha keeps getting to do cool shit with ice magic so that’s fine i guess
also i actually kinda like the classifying of castlevania’s death boss as a powerful entity that feeds off the dead and looks like the grim reaper instead of actually being death/the grim reaper bc it makes more sense than dracula somehow controlling death itself and still losing (plus you’d think killing death or w/e so often would cause problems for the rest of the world and all)
the reference with varney’s name is cute but his voice instantly killed any intimidation possibility
why was alucard’s first scene taking a leak no really
why the fuck are they playing hector and lenore’s sarcastic flirting straight after the end of season 3??? like i know he’s probably planning a rebellion/breakout with those little stones but otherwise their scene felt way too cute
i straight up do not care about lenore or carmilla’s sad backstories at this point sorry. carmilla is like the epitome of girlboss and her rant went on at least two minutes too long.
zamfir’s pretty hot
episode 3 was like 75% just characters sitting and talking, but i could listen to isaac talk for hours and he continues to be pretty much the best character so
striga and morana are close seconds even if i find the direction they’re going a bit odd too, but i guess i also understand boredom being a lot worse for vampires. anyway armored striga was the best scene of the season so far
did the monsters attacking danesti look like halo enemies to anyone else
greta’s pretty cool and very hot
(i know ppl are saying she seems to be a genderswapped grant danasty, idk how i feel about the writers doing that but i also don’t mind her as a love interest at all so long as we don’t repeat the sumi and taka mess)
i know pandemic but did st germain record his lines from inside a tissue box?
st germain’s girlfriend is also very cool and hot to the point where i’m declaring he straight-up did not deserve her but also did they seriously not even give her lines or a NAME
that goth chick is 110% death in disguise
st germain becoming evil feels very rushed and dumb

More Strigana things (Striga x Morana)
How could I forget such softness as...
Morana teaching Striga how to dance in preparation for stuffy formal occasions. Morana is an excellent teacher but Striga has a hard time because she’s mortified of stepping on Morana’s feet. When it does happen she apologizes profusely and doesn’t understand why Morana thinks it’s so cute.
Morana probably uses some sort of oil to style her hair (because it’s super FLUFF when she’s in her nightgown and really tame when she isn’t) and Striga LOVES how it smells. Sometimes she’ll just creep up behind Morana and hug her real close and just take in her scent. Speaking of hair, Striga really likes it when Morana brushes her hair, or does anything with it, frankly. Except pulling, turns out Striga isn’t too keen on that.
Striga forgetting Morana’s in the room or getting too distracted by whatever she’s doing, starts humming to herself, some old songs from long, long ago. Morana’s spellbound, never having thought her dearest love was one to sing. Striga’s embarrassed when she gets caught, but Morana assures her that it was wonderful.
One teaching the other a language just for them to share so they can drag Lenore and Carmilla in peace if they want, or, by the same token, say lewd things to one another out loud to be obnoxious.
First kiss? First kiss. For Striga it’s something small, almost timid, like she’s testing something. Kissing Morana’s hand is how it starts. When she sees that Morana doesn’t seem to mind it, she tries a kiss on the forehead- Morana being as tall as she is, it’s too easy and almost feels natural. Then, eventually she finally gets up the courage to kiss her properly. Imagine her surprise when Morana “helps” by taking her face in both hands and insistently pulling her in.
First time being intimate? Sure, why not? Striga’s really anxious about it because she’s worried about her big bear-paw hands and being too rough with the love of her afterlife that she knows is strong but looks so fragile and soft. Morana thinks she’s adorable and helps her along, taking Striga’s hands and showing her how and where she likes to be touched, reassuring her the entire time and praising her gentleness, even though all she wants is for Striga to take her apart in the best way. Afterwards they cuddle and talk, Striga just marveling at how she feels -loved, humbled, awestruck, almost unable to believe it happened at all. Morana draws shapes on Striga’s chest idly with the tip of her talon, just smiling and sleepily carrying on whatever conversation they manage to have before dawn comes and they finally fall asleep.
You guys, my heart.

New Castlevania season surpassed the worst expectations and turned out to be so horrible, badly written and useless, that it makes you wonder how they even released this shit. First of all, it was a meaningless filler in a length of the whole season. The main plotline which they started since the first season didn’t move an inch. Then again, there was nothing to continue since Dracula has been killed. They could have adapted other Castlevania games about Alucard or Hector instead, but they chose to create a series original plot with Carmilla. And that was terrible decision, because without the game story Netflix writers could suggest only fanfiction tier development, and I mean fanfiction of the worst kind. There are absolutely nonsensical and disgusting pairings out of nowhere, that were made only for the sake of smut. They were tormenting characters, because that’s what many sadistic bitches like. And there was literally zero progression of the actual plot, since the writers obviously can’t make up anything interesting or original themselves. That was an awful pandering to brainless fangirls who only like smut fanfiction and don’t give a shit about personalities of characters or story. It’s very noticeable that the main screen-writer made comics before. He filled this season with typical and retarded cliches that teenagers consider to be ‘cool’, but they are pure cringe in reality. Needless nudity with random filler characters, accentuation on gore and constant dirty (and modern) cursing even from supposed to be nobles. All these things are just edgy banalities which can impress only kids and retarded adults who think that violence and sex make story ‘deep’ and serious. But they don’t. It’s a cheap way to catch attention for the lowest common denominator.
The most prominent example of useless filler shit was Isaac's storyline. Isaac is a token character for sjw to begin with. He is black and muslie (thanks for the reason to dislike this shitty character even more). It was absolutely needless information about his religion which they added only in the adaptation, because it’s trendy among sjw to defend muslies. Obviously there was nothing of sorts in the game and it added nothing to the plot. Like a token black character he was saved from everything first by Dracula himself, and in this season he turned into disgusting mary sue. He is absolutely evil - he literally wanted the destruction of all mankind and is a practicing satanist. How does it combine with him being a muslie and isn’t it offensive in itself I wonder? It seems the authors are braindead. A black muslie satanist, who is also presented as some kind of hero despite killing almost every passerby whom he doesn’t like. Is it a parody or something? But they were totally serious with this shit. Why the fuck does Isaac get away from everything even though he is turning people into hell monsters left and right only because they are ‘rude’ to him. He was acting like a touchy hysterical bitch. This scumbag already deserved to be killed, instead they are implying he could become some sort of a new messiah. What a load of bullshit. He had absolutely meaningless plotline with several long talks about nothing and fighting some random magician in the last moment only to get to a new magic mirror. Isaac is the most cringeworthy and disgusting character that an sjw screenwriter could possibly come up with. All about him is idiotic and pointless. It seems dumb writers went crazy from their Isaac wankfest.
Other characters didn’t get any important development too. Belmont and Sypha spent the whole season in random village which also added nothing to their story or the main plot, which is supposed to be a confrontation against Carmilla now. They just killed another completely generic hell monster in the end which was hiding in the church and that’s it. They were literally walking in circles around that church for several episodes doing nothing more. Very impressive progression and writing /sarcasm. That monster was only one of Dracula’s remaining servants, just realize how much the whole scale of the story degraded when the writers didn’t have game plot to rely on anymore. Reminds me of the Game of Thrones horrible ending after the writers run out of the books material. Belmont was completely overshadowed by Sypha, who became a pushy ooc mary sue in this season. Ridiculous considering that he is actually the main character.
But what I think was the most disgusting and nauseating are those horrible pairings the writers created for their revolting smut scenes. Of course all of it is completely made up filler, nothing like this was in the games. It was quite literally a writing on the level of horny teenage fangirls. The writers seem to think that if they are sadistic pieces of shit who like to torture characters that means everyone would enjoy it too. But most viewers are not sadists and always want a good resolve for their favorite characters. So, instead of giving Hector some kind of salvation and rescuing him from the captivity, which everyone wanted after the last season, those scum of a writers continued to make him suffer. They even turned it into some fetish it seems, alluding on making him ‘pet’ of new slut Lenore. That’s some shit straight out of garbage ‘kinky’ fanfiction. I can’t believe they actually showed this trash on screen. Hector is a main character of his own Castlevania game by the way. But here they constantly humiliate him and made him into a slave again, also forcing him into absolutely meaningless dirty pairing made only to show nudity. I don’t know who could like this shit except for brainless wankers and bitches who don’t care about characters themselves.
Another terrible bed scene involved Alucard with a pair of Japanese literally who characters. Again, random filler nobodies created only for a dirty scene with one of the main characters - that’s a textual definition of smut fanfiction writing. And they are showing it in a series, how much lower could they get? Needless to say, Alucard didn’t have any reason to suddenly get into bed with two suspicious strangers. All ‘development’ of their relationship consisted of them becoming his students. To which he also agreed unnaturally fast without a second thought. Why would he sleep with his students who he barely even knew? Just because he felt lonely? That motivation may seem alright only to retarded teenage fangirls and the writers on their level of intellect. Besides, Alucard isn’t even a full-fledged adult. He mentioned in the first season that his body matured very fast while he still was a child mentally. So they showed a sex scene with a child in a body of adult. That’s another level of low trash, it isn’t just morally wrong, it’s practically criminal. And why would Alucard even want something like this when he isn’t mature enough? He needed friends, not an orgy with some strangers. Absolutely horrible and revolting what they did with him, it’s also a disgusting OOC and complete lack of consistency and understanding of his personality. And of course it ended in the most stupid and edgy way possible, turning straight from obscenity into some retarded drama. What was their reason again for wanting to kill Alucard? Because he didn’t tell them how to move a castle? Why did they even need to move it? Also even if they wanted to make a trap for him, they could have locked those magical bracelets on his hands when they were lying on a grass together, for example. That disgusting scene was absolutely unnecessary. Filthy whores from Netflix writers team are making people feel disgust towards Japanese people after this nasty season.
Besides repulsive and smutty het pairings the authors also didn’t do any good with the only lesbian pairing they had. They could have left it to the viewers imagination whom they prefer to ship among the vampire girls. But instead they pushed for hypocritical tolerance again and forced their token white/black ship with Striga and Morana. Striga certainly has some lesbian vibes about her. But she could have make up a nice couple with Lenore. It would have influenced the whole plot positively, because then there wouldn’t be any disgusting humiliation for Hector. A pair with a strong warrior girl and a gentle cunning girl would have been very interesting and cute. They could even schemed against Carmilla together, they are smarter than her anyway. But instead we got another aggressive propaganda of tolerance with b/w pairing. Morana wasn’t interesting or nice, her only purpose was be a forced representation of the person of color in the group. Apparently even LGBT pairings can’t be free from this racial agenda.
Smut in this season was so obviously shown intertwined with boring and unimaginative battle to make a ‘cool’ edgy episode with violence and sex. Literally the level of what underage morons would consider impressive and exiting. That’s the most trashy, cheap and tasteless series I’ve seen. The writers deserve a slow and gory death on the stakes.

castlevania s3 spoilers ahead u’ve been warned, just finished binging the new season so my thoughts are kinda all over the place.
so we got canon alucard mlm content but at what cost,,,
i knew his story line wasn’t gonna be good but i still wanted to believe u know..
i hate that they did that with sumi and taka i really really wish things had gone differently, they looked so cool and had an interesting story so their lil betrayal while foreshadowed and telegraphed a mile away still felt like it came out of nowhere.
was it truly necessary? does the story really need a repeat of dracula’s ‘brooding recluse who hates humans’ arc? can’t alucard just mourn in peace and then decide he wants to protect humanity or smth. did he really have to go thru that. i swear if all this is building up to him becoming a villain or smth im gonna lose my shit.
anyway that dumbfuckery aside, i loved Isaac and everything involving him he really was the highlight of this season for me. he needs his own show lbr.
hector,,, poor hector why did i think the show was gonna treat u any better... like u can feel that the writer just...doesn’t respect him as a character even more this season. he’s easily manipulated and so easily roped into things. feels bad. like respect ur own character’s intelligence ffs...
carmilla and her court. excellent. i had a feeling striga and morana  were gonna be an item and i am vindicated in this chili’s tonight. love that for them; they’re v cute and tender and honestly they are a highlight alongside isaac for me. carmilla was a bit boring tho.we saw her manipulate and fight and kick ass last season and now she’s just. there. being arrogant. and that’s it. yes she came up with a plan but morana striga and lenore are really the ones dealing with the logistics of said plan while she has sex offscreen apparently. idkk
Lenore is...not...my favourite...design wise i adore her design, she’s smart and super manipulative but just..im not fond of what she did to Hector. i saw it coming , we all did. doesn’t make seeing it in action any better.
aaand Trevor and Sypha were okay. their storyline was interesting ngl but im more intrested in saint germain now.
them getting together was to be expected tbh but i kinda wished we got to see them get together. instead of implying they slept together and then showing them in bed. like. ok cool cute whatever but it would have been nice to see them build up to that. idk but their s2 relationship hardly qualifies as ‘romantic’ to me tbh. ah whatever, still they had good moments i aint mad. good for them.
last but not least, that one scene with Lisa and Dracula. so short but it had me.

Day 1 - Empresses of Old & Before the Council
Tumblr media
AO3 Link: https://archiveofourown.org/works/34712899 . For day 1, prompt 1 of @striganaweek
Getting up, day in and day out, was going through the motions for Morana. Everyday was just as the last, schemes and meetings. Throwing whatever hair-brained idea Carmilla concocted into something tangible and executing it. If she was wanted to be honest, Morana was growing tired of it all.
She just wanted to allow herself whatever time she could afford with her wife. Maybe back in her old days, when she was human, Morana could have handled the politics of the ancient kingdoms but it was different now.
She grew tired of it, and putting on her signature earrings every day only reminded her of the legacy destiny forged for her. She received them back in the old days, when she was placed inherited one of Sumeria’s cities back in their Golden Age.
They were all old in their own way, but as the eldest of the four of them, Morana was tired. Exhausted even under the façade of silken garments and the blue dye that painted her eyes. In the centuries that followed after Striga had joined them, it all seemed worth it to Morana then.
If there was ever one thing Carmilla was good for, it was for the union of her and her hallowed knight. Perhaps it was time for a change, one where she and Striga would make their own schemes or create whatever it was that pleased them. Become their own queens and empresses.

many thots
sypha is clearly the real main character. she is peppy and wants to help and adventure and trevor is the angsty best friend who she learns actually has a reason for being that way
i liked the saint hopefully he doesnt betray them in s4 like everyone else should he return. hes okay
the entire situation w alucard took a bad turn for no reason at all, but especially there at the end--hehe yikes! maybe i was dreading it bc i knew what was coming (sex scene) but it just wasnt interesting
isaac had the best storyline. character development, genuine interest, epic. no complaints. he really held his own story mostly by himself with a few cool friends sprinkled along the way... we have to stan (sypha and trevor had development too they were cute! genuinely! one straight romance)
nothing to say abt hector. truly just the worst. he will never see the end to this.
both sex scenes were deception which is just terrible. as much as i dont want to see it i wouldve preferred a real scene of sex btwn trephy just to have a real sex scene mean something genuine
striga and morana are a good ship. so proud of them :)

Day 5
Tumblr media
Will be updated to AO3. For Day 5, prompt 5 of @striganaweek , lil bit of angst away from the wifey
Blood and sweat were what reminded Striga what it felt like to be alive. Her warrior’s spirit did not yield in the face of danger, but it was never in front of her enemy. No, they would never get the luxury of seeing her vulnerability.
Though she lived for the fight and the glory of war, there was always a pain attached to it. Not for the losses or for those from Styria who risked being staked or burned, but the fact that she was separated from the one who she wanted in these grueling campaigns.
It was torture to be separated from her spouse, the only one that she trusted the most in this hellish world. The agonizing pain from the sword that pierced her heart.
But that was the price they paid for taking the world, the agony and bliss of it all. The agony of being separated from the one you loved most, but for a lifetime of bliss that you could give to each other a thousand times over.
Striga knew that Morana had her hesitations, but as she patched herself up, Morana’s words from over the years rang differently for her. Fingers tracing her scars from centuries past, Striga yearned for her lover who used to fret over her. Not a price she wanted to continuously pay, but one that she felt was draining on her.

Day 4, Prompt 4
Tumblr media
For day 4 of @striganaweek , best way to care for loved ones? Chastise them over safety. AO3 Link: https://archiveofourown.org/works/34774123
Every battle scar told a story of victory for Striga. Though there were few that decorated her body, Striga wore them proudly. It served as a reminder that even after so many centuries of living as the undead, she could still feel alive.
Though the scars did not mean much to Striga, it always roused the emotions and wandering eyes of her wife. Bless her heart, Striga adored Morana’s attention and didn’t try to resist her first aid efforts lest she wanted to see more of her fretting.
“Always fretting, aren’t you?”, Striga teased after one training session. Morana scoffed before responding. “Maybe I wouldn’t fret as much if you were more careful during training”, her voice trailing off in an “I-told-you so” manner.
“Well, I can assure you, I hope it won’t be the last time your hands are on me.” Morana only gave her famous exasperated expression that Striga adored after all these centuries. “Must you be this crude?? Mind you, I still have the bandages for your wounds.”
Striga just cocked her eyebrow as she held on to her wife’s perfectly fitting hand. “Good, because I only wanted someone with your expertise to put your hands on me.”

This fucking show man!! It was so damn good and it’s bittersweet that it’s over!! 😭👏👏👏❤️👍💗🙏
1) The animation and voice acting was just 💯!! So fluid and emotional, and so well acted!!
2) The new antagonists, along with the already present ones, were just as entertaining if not a bit more so! All the twists with them kept it interesting
3) The human characters were so damn good (looking at you Greta)! Honestly it was so refreshing to have them this season
4) Sypha, Trevor, and Alucard are perfect! Omg! First, there’s Sypha and Trevor with their banter and “old married couple” vibes 😂 and just how all three of them vibe with each other (final fight scene)
5) the twist with St Germain and the other vampires and Death was a whole thing on its own but I loved it
6) I’m glad Hector and Isaac’s arc ends with them finally being at peace with themselves about their past. They damn well deserved it, and honestly it’s an open-ending that just fits them
7) Striga and Morana being battle wives 😌❤️
8) Alucard smiled so damn much this season 😭🥺finally he gets some peace and happiness with himself, his friends, and the other humans (they called him “father”???? Stop my heart can’t take the cuteness!!!!)
9) Carmilla and Lenore are a whole ass league of their own 😂😆 interesting and engaging characters who had well-fitting endings
10) THE ENDING!! Vlad! Lisa! 🥺😭😭😭💔💛🖤 ❤️💗
That 10/10 rating is well deserved
