Second, for Jean's role, I was wondering what you thought about making him a blacksmith? It would make him useful for Riko without having any power (not a guard, etc.)but also give a reason for Jeremy to seek him out (and get swept off his feet), perhaps once he's escaped and is in Palmetto. Feel free to ignore tho!😊

I’ve been really invested in the idea of the “perfect court” now that we’re in a royal au, and since Kevin and Riko were both technically royalty, Nathaniel was/had the potential to be a noble, I think Jean should also be high end?? Like while at Evermore they all have different duties right, maybe Jean was an attendant to Riko or something. Whatever he was there, we know he wasn’t treated well. Probably not allowed to pursue his own interests, just like everyone else.

But Kevin and Nathaniel both escape, and they find new jobs that fulfill them. So Jean should as well!! He gets to the Trojan kingdom, probably with the help of Renee still (which is. A whole thing about politics and family lines in this au strangely enough) and he doesn’t have to be a noble anymore if he doesn’t want to. He’s probably already renounced his nobility in the way he left Evermore. I don’t doubt Jeremy, who I’m imagining as another prince because that’s the image my brain gave me, would hesitate to reinstate him as Trojan nobility if Jean asked (as long as it’s far enough down the timeline obviously). Instead, Jean kind of slides under the radar, and once he’s all settled he finds work in the smithy. And he really enjoys it! He feels stronger and healthier and he gets to make such amazing things, he doesn’t even have to make weapons if he doesn’t want to. The workers all choose their own specialties and jobs, filling in gaps as needed

Then one day the royal family or the prince is making rounds, coming to see how things are running, and Jeremy is kind of wondering if he’s seen this blacksmith before? Like he’s pretty sure that’s a familiar face, but he definitely would have remembered seeing someone like him around the kingdom before now, so he brushes it off.

(Really he’s seen Jean Moreau at summits and other large gatherings, only once or twice. Back when Jean was much less healthy and when he still tried to make himself smaller to fit into Riko’s shadow. So yes he recognizes the face; but this is a much different man than the person he saw across grand halls.)

And for my lovely jerejean enjoyers: if Jean ends up talking to or in close proximity of the prince, for whatever reason? Jeremy can definitely blame his red cheeks on the heat of the forges 💫

UH HUH. Just think about Mountain, for example. Wavy auburn hair. Warm green eyes. Olive skin dusted with freckles. Fingers calloused, always a little dirty. Tall and lanky and still so strong. The way there is always something growing from the base of his horns--antlers even. Ivy dragging up the edges of them, curling around the points. Little purple violets springing up around the bases. And Cumulus? So short, so soft. Round cheeks, full lips. Pale bluish gray skin, ice blue eyes. Her hair, just voluminous soft white curls that mimics her namesake. Little pearlescent horns with little clouds floating around them. And fucking RAIN? All that deep gray/blue skin swirling with bioluminescence? Paper thin, glimmering gills on his hips, his ribs, his throat? Deep black hair, always caught somewhere between a wave and a curl. Cerulean eyes, always a little heavy lidded-sleepy. Full lips perpetually pulled into a pout. Long thin fingers to match his lanky body. Horns, smooth and frosted like sea glass. And Aeon? Deep black skin? Vitiligo patches that swirl like galaxies? Violet eyes. Curved horns that start black at the base but swirl up to purple. The color swirling and shifting like nebula's when he uses his powers? An unruly mop of black hair that is persistently falling into his eyes. Lips always pulled up into a smile?

FUCK THEY'RE ALL SO PRETTY I could write whole essays on each and every one of them.

Listen yall, these books mention how the Alphas are like as pure Jango you can get (Ill have to double check but I'm pretty sure they say it once) And ALSO describe the Nulls as the Kaminoans messing with them too much and being broader and heavier as a result and MY brain latched onto this fact by going "Wait, does that mean the Alphas are smaller than the Nulls?" Hello world! I just thought I’d provide some resources for all the mentally ill out there in this existence. These all worked for me and hopefully they can work for you. If you think you may be suffering from mental illness go to section two and three. If you are currently in crisis, which means you think about or have planned your suicide, go to section one and read through the rest of this post. You are not alone, 792 million people live with mental illness. 264 million live with depression, and 284 million live with anxiety. If you are reading this, it’s a sign to start getting help. If you are struggling, these resources can help you. Just give it a try, it’s worth it. Just remember. You are loved. You are wanted. You are cared for. You are noticed. You deserve to live.

IF YOU ARE IN CRISIS:

Call a suicide hotline!!!!

Hotlines can be helpful at calming you down in a time of high emotion or stress, these people are literally trained to distract you. I’ve called them a few times in my life and it does work I promise. Just try it out.

Either while you are on the phone with a hotline or after, send your location to a friend or family member so that someone can come get you or check on you. If that is not an option you can ask the hotline to send someone to come get you. DO NOT. I REPEAT. DO NOT. Stay by yourself in a time of need or crisis. The longer you are alone the more dangerous the situation can become. You are not a burden if you ask someone you love for help, that is what they are there for. Most likely you will be collected by emergency services and they will go from there.

If you are not in the U.S call your countries emergency number. Here is a list of countries numbers:

when people mention this and talk about this line from cellbit today (saturday, october 28th, 2023), they mention fit. and the thing about it is, fit has nothing to worry about. cellbit has no reason to fight against him. from day 1 onwards, fit has made apparent to all and especially cellbit how much he HATES the federation, even as a janitor for them. he would happily see them reduced to smithereens and would easily help.

"He distrusts the Federation despite working dor them.. ha, the irony of it." (Fred/WA02 in the report about Fitxs interview when they were searching for WB011/Ron.)

he only plays up any "positivity" about them when it benefits him and his goals. and even then, such "positivity" has always been faked and through his teeth. very easy to tell in how he hesitates before saying "boss". every. single. time.

fit only has this job out of his own goals. not out of any genuine like or want. only because he believed it would get him closer to the player data. and by god. the moment it shows that the federation will not help him but the resistance will? he is grabbing gasoline and lighting a match- and setting those white walls ablaze. he does not care. he never has. and everyone knows this.

order is not his thing, after all.

"this action will have consequences. [...] playing both sides like this is extremely risky." (Fit when signing his message back to the Resistance.)

soon, fit will be burned by playing both sides. he knows this. he has been burned like this before - long ago on explosion ridden wastelands - but when he is burned, he will not hop to the federations side. they have not helped him. and the resistance is far more likely to.

fit will certainly not stand in the gas trail when cellbit sets it alight, either.

fit does not care for the federation.

he never has.

I feel like the way Percy could never get rid of the gods and their stupid quests is like a symbolic representation of how we never really leave our insecurities behind or how those specific thoughts just wander into our heads no matter how hard we try to get rid of them.

The gods also show how often our parents hurt us not physically not always but mentally. They need us to be their perfect little child not realising that maybe we are perfect just the way we are? Or that idk maybe we don't want to be their image of perfection.

It's horrible that sometimes your worst internal enemy is your parent. The person who is supposed to reassure you just ends up fucking you up in the head.

All kids deserve parents, but all parents don't deserve kids.
