I’ll share an opinion, and you can disagree with this, but I kinda dislike when ccs go “It feels weird not to do what the admins want to because they prepared the event”, it just feels too meta to me… if it makes sense for your character to not participate in an event then don’t do it, it personally feels weirder to me to see characters do mental gymnastics to justify doing stuff

Elain and Azriel are not a good fit.

Azriel would stifle Elain's growth in the guise of protection (as we have seen in ACOSF by not respecting her choice behind her back) and Elain will appease Azriel (as she does with her sisters) to keep the peace and allow him to do what Nesta did especially if she notes he gets upset whenever she wants to help even if it puts her at risk (call back to how he was overprotective with Mor to the point she feels guilty about making a decision on her own knowing it will upset him).

That's not a couple that would compliment each other's growth or challenge each other. Neither will pull the other out of their shell and this is something I think both Azriel and Elain need because everyone around them is happy to let them be in their own head for too long.

Aesthetics and being nice to each other does not warrant a long-term stable and equal relationship when we actually look at them as characters and their personality and actions.

Azriel, like Nesta, speaks for Elain even if he thought he was thinking in her best interests but those "best interests" are clouded by his desperation for a mate and his jealousy of Lucien and Rhys and Cassian. They weren't Elain's own words and she does have a voice to speak out on it instead of Azriel.

I still think ACOSF and the bonus chapter are big indicators that they don't work out as a couple. Sarah could've made them more appealing to the readers but she didn't. I don't have a personal beef with this couple to not accept it, I just think they don't fit especially after ACOSF.

I don't know if it's just me but Sun leaving FC all alone in the daycare for the night. Feels very out of character for me personally, especially after "FC Adopts Sun".

I know Sun doesn't really like FC but he seemed to be okay with taking care of him when FC showed up. What changed? Why did we have the episode of Sun bonding (kind of) with FC if they just throw it all away to the next lore episode?

I mean I get that they want to proceed with the lore by BM kidnapping FC but couldn't they have done it a bit more characteristically?

Examples:

I could see Sun taking a phone call from Moon and stepping away to speak to his brother privately. In that time FC could've been kidnapped.

Or Sun was busy with dealing a Karen, FC got bored and walked off to the theatre where BM kidnapped him.

(Etc. etc.)

My point is, Sun is a daycare attendant who is also very anxious about many things and he is well aware that FC is quite the trouble kid. So leaving them alone just sounds very unreal to me?

I get that the computer should've watched FC but didn't Sun think that SW or BM could have been looking for him and easily destroyed the defences from the computer? He knows how dangerous and smart SW can be if it comes to something they want. (Referring to when SW kidnapped(?) Earth and tampered with their mind.)

if other ppl do i get it, especially w trying to cope w the absolute no lube dry ass fuck of an ending. but i also feel like it ignores a good chunk of his character??

aziraphale doesnt know what it means to be truly neutral. crowley has been good and evil, so he can truly choose being neutral and living on earth. aziraphale doesnt have that, he didnt choose to be neutral he chose separating himself from an institution he didnt believe he could do good in. he is still good and actively chooses to do good daily, so if he has the ability to change an institution that still holds a great power over everything, he will obviously do that.

him choosing heaven over staying on earth w crowley is literally the same as crowley choosing the earth over going to heaven w aziraphale. both have unshakable causes, which is why they work well together but then will also split apart bc of it. im not saying metatron wasnt at all manipulative, bc he def was, but tampering w the coffee kinda just ignores the fact that aziraphale and crowley are characters who do operate on different experiences and philosophies.

does anyone else form their headcanons of marinette and adrien largely on the basis of "they have to be opposite each other"? like, creation and destruction, yin and yang, etc. like Marinette being late all the time and sleeping through her alarms? so she's probably a deep sleeper?
